Same Night: Lemurian Star Ship

Outside: On Deck

Steven/Captain Universe didn't see Pirate 18 come up behind and point his gun at him, speaking in French, "Don't move!" Steven/Captain Universe turns his head a bit when suddenly Pirate 18 gets blasted down.

Steven/Captain Universe turns around fully to see Mabel standing behind him with her suited right arm raised towards where Pirate 18 is standing, as her Iron Woman suit floats mid-air behind her.

Steven/Captain Universe tells Mabel, "Thanks." As Jasper and the rest of the team arrive, they parachute down on the deck.

Mabel shrugs as she lowers her hand and smiles teasingly, "Yeah. You seemed pretty helpless without me." Steven/Captain Universe smiles at her joke. Mabel detaches her metal arm from her suit and it attaches to the suit.

More agents parachute down onto the deck to join them, along with Pacifica/Black Shadow and Marcy/Hawkeye. Steven/Captain Universe puts his shield on his back as the agents detach their parachutes while Pacifica/Black Shadow, Marcy/Hawkeye, Steven/Captain Universe, and Mabel casually walks forward, with the Iron Woman suit lowering down and casually walking behind Mabel.

Pacifica/Black Shadow and Marcy/Hawkeye detach their parachutes as Pacifica/Black Shadow asks Steven, this time she and Marcy, not giving up in trying to find Steven a date, "What about the nurse that lives across the hall from you?"

Marcy/Hawkeye nods as she agrees, "Yeah. She seems kind of nice." Mabel rolls her eyes in annoyance as they continue to push and question Steven about his dating life.

Steven/Captain Universe tells Pacifica/Black Shadow and Marcy/Hawkeye, "Secure the engine room, the lower decks, then find me a date."

Marcy/Hawkeye and Pacifica/Black Shadow slowly walk towards the railing beside them on their left. Marcy/Hawkeye innocently tells Steven/Captain Universe, "I'm multitasking."

Steven/Captain Universe chuckles before turning to Mabel, "I need eyes above." Mabel looks at Steven/Captain Universe as they continue walking, "Check the perimeter again in case we missed any more pirates."

Mabel nods sharply, "Got it." She holds out her arms, the suit latches onto her, and she shoots up in the air.

Inside: Below Deck

Kitchen

A group of pirates are holding the ship's crew, including Gunnar Maelstrom, hostage, all sitting down with their backs against the kitchen counters, their ankles zip-tied, as well as their hands that are behind their backs.

The French Pirate 19, speaking French to another pirate, "I told Hector. If we want to make SHIELD pay us..." He shouts, "...start sending them bodies now!" Gunnar is looking around, bored, with an attitude on his face. French Pirate 19 walks over to the hostages, telling a pirate in French as he points his gun to the hostages, "I have a bullet for someone..." He leans down to the hostages and asks loudly in English, "You want a bullet in your head?" He points his gun at a hostage's head as he kicks his foot back. He says in French, "Move that foot! You want a bullet in your head?" He lowers his gun, "Huh?" He walks away.

Outside: On Deck

Steven/Captain Universe was running quickly. He jumps up and pushes himself over a railing before quickly jumping up to another railing, then to a caged light on the railing on the next-floor deck. He secures and holds himself as he lifts his arm up, holding a device, and shoots it. The mini device quietly sticks to the window of the main control room.

Inside: Control Room

Hector Batroc, speaking in French, sits in the captain's chair, looking forward as a pirate stands behind him a couple of feet away, "I don't like waiting. Call Durand. I want this ship ready to move when the ransom comes."

French Pirate 20, standing behind Hector, obeys the orders, "Yes, Hector." He walks over to the phone on the control panel and makes the call, speaking in French, "Durand. Start the engine."

Inside: Lower Deck

Catwalk

On the phone that's attached to the wall, Durand answers in French, "Okay." Durand hangs up the phone, turns around, and sees Marcy/Hawkeye standing seductively behind him with her right hand on her hip.

Marcy/Hawkeye nods seductively in greeting as she gives Durand a smirk, "Hey, sailor." Before he can react, Marcy/Hawkeye quickly kicks him in the knee, breaking it and making him kneel down as he groans in pain.

Marcy/Hawkeye pulls out her rope and hook from her belt behind her back. She flicks her wrist forward, and the hook and rope wrap around Durand's neck, pulling him forward. Marcy/Hawkeye jumps up on the railing, kicks him back as she pushes herself, and backflips off the railing down the stairwell while taking out her gun for her leg holster.

Marcy/Hawkeye's weight pulls Durand to the railing, tightening the rope around his neck. As Marcy/Hawkeye lowers down, she quickly shoots one shot each at Pirates 21 and 22 on one floor before shooting two down at Pirate 23, landing on the floor he's on.

Pirates 24 and 25 are on the floor below the catwalk Marcy's on. They try to look around the dead Pirate 23's body, but Marcy/Hawkeye quickly shoots once at both pirates through the grated catwalk, taking them both down.

Inside: Kitchen

The French Pirate 19 looks around at the hostages. He tells another pirate that's shouting in French, "Shut up!" All pirates pacing as they keep an eye on the hostages. French Pirate 19 asks the hostages in French, "You want to be a hero? Is that it?" He looks at the hostages, who keep their heads down. French Pirate 19 says out loud in French, "All right, I've waited long enough..." He goes over to the locked door and bangs on it to get the attention of the pirate guarding outside. French Pirate 19 shouts, "Hey!" He demands in French, "Find Hector..."

Outside: Kitchen

French Pirate 19's voice through the door, speaking in French, "If I don't hear anything in two minutes..." Pirate 26 approaches the door, leaning his ear towards it, "...I start killing them!"

French Pirate 26 shouts back in French, "I'll find him." Pirate 26 doesn't notice STRIKE agent Jack Rollins standing behind him with his gun raised at him.

Just as Pirate 26 turns to leave, Jasper, who's standing behind him, stuns him in the head with a stun gun, then grabs his collar as he goes to fall back.

Inside: Kitchen

As French Pirate 19 leaves the door, he stops as he thinks he hears something.

Outside: Kitchen

Jasper holds unconscious Pirate 26, trying to be quiet.

Inside: Kitchen

French Pirate 19 shakes off the thought that he heard something through the door and walks back over to where the hostages are, shouting out in French, "Two minutes!"

Outside: Kitchen

Jasper quietly set the unconscious Pirate 26 down to the ground.

Outside: On Deck

Mabel/Iron Woman quietly blasts Pirates 27 and 28 off the ship as she flies by, watching as 3 STRIKE agents, who are hooked up to a rope that's connected to the deck, quietly walk up to the edge, over the railing, and down to the side of the ship, stopping just before the deck above the water, where the kitchen is, and where the hostages are behind held.

Inside: Below Deck

Outside: Kitchen

STRIKE agent Rollins, who's with Jasper, walks a few feet away from the locked kitchen doors, stops at a good distance, turns around, and takes off his backpack.

Outside

Mabel/Iron Woman flies down behind Pirate 29. He hears her metal feet landing on deck and turns around, only to be punched unconscious by Mabel/Iron Woman.

The three STRIKE agents that are on the side of the ship slowly and quietly step closer down to the lower deck with their guns raised.

Inside: Below Deck

Outside: Kitchen

STRIKE agent Rollins, who's with Jasper outside the locked kitchen doors, kneels down, opening his backpack as Jasper aims her gun at the locked kitchen door.

Outside

The three STRIKE agents keep lowering down more.

Inside: Below Deck

Outside: Kitchen

STRIKE agent Rollins is accompanied by Jasper, who's aiming her gun at the locked kitchen door. Rollins takes out a roll of thin rope and unrolls it as he walks to the locked kitchen door. Slowly, quietly, and gently, he attaches the round end to the door. He presses the button in the middle. It activates, sticking to the door, revealing it as a bomb.

Outside: On Deck

Steven/Captain Universe kneels down, hiding behind a metal wall of some sort, listening to Pirate 20 on the radio from the device he implanted in the window of the control room.

French Pirate 20 informs Hector in French, "Radio Silence from SHIELD, Hector..."

The three agents that are on the side of the ship get in position just above the lower deck where the hostages are being kept in the kitchen, their guns raised towards the window, ready to move and fire.

A STRIKE agent informs, "Targets acquired."

Inside: Below Deck

Outside: Kitchen

Jasper, still pointing her gun at the bomb placed against the door where the hostages are being kept, Jasper informs, "STRIKE in position."

Outside: On Deck

Steven/Captain Universe holds his right wrist near his mouth where his radio is, "Pacifica, what's your status?"

Inside: Engine Room

Pacifica/Black Shadow silently jumps down below deck behind a passing pirate. She quickly moves as Steven's voice pushes, "Status, Pacifica."

Pacifica/Black Shadow shouts frustratedly in the radio on her wrist, "Hang on!" Pirate 30 turns around at her voice. Pacifica/Black Shadow quickly jumps up to his shoulders, one leg over his shoulder, and uses her new defense Pines bracelet to stun Pirate 30 in the neck.

Pirate 30 falls unconscious. Pacifica/Black Shadow quickly lowers down with him and leans forward, somersaulting off the unconscious pirate as he falls completely.

Pacifica/Black Shadow stands up to meet Pirate 31, who runs in and points his gun at her. Pacifica/Black Shadow leans her head to the side, hits his wrist with hers to make him aim elsewhere, then grabs his wrist and forearm, twists it, putting pressure on his weak spots, making him groan in pain and drop the gun, she lets go of his arm, pushing it away before kicking him in the ribs, spinning as she lowers down and swipes him off his feet with her outstretched leg, he falls.

Pacifica/Black Shadow, still lowered, spins, and kicks up to Pirate 32, kicking his gun out of his hands. Pacifica/Black Shadow spins as she stands back up, looks behind her, and kicks back, straightening up with her back towards Pirate 32.

Pirate 32 quickly grabs Pacifica/Black Shadow, but she raises her right elbow up and hits him hard in the face. Then she wraps her hands around the back of his neck and jumps up high, using her weight and strength to flip him forward to the ground. She quickly puts her hands over her shoulders on the ground and swings/flips up to a standing position.

Pacifica/Black Shadow holds her wrist up and speaks into her radio, "Engine room secure." Pacifica/Black Shadow grabs a wrench from the shelf in front of her. She turns around and swings it at Pirate 31's face as she goes to stand, knocking him out. She carelessly throws the wrench aside before casually walking away.
