A/N: Sorry for the late update. I was busy,(Lies he was exploring Fontain and forgot the deadline. Also his eye got swollen) Yeah, that. Also, I felt like I needed a break and this chapter was a pain.

Oh and to answer some questions.

To radio: Yes, Seth calls the song and It plays. He has a whole notebook of songs, that he has heard over the years and many with strange names and amazing sounds. But I feel like he will stick with OST rather than well-known songs, but sometimes he will play some well-known ones from time to time.

To Guest: I really don't know if I want to do this story M-rated, I mean I could do it. But I feel, for now, it will stay T-rated. I can understand that there is a lot of cursing but I thought I could get away with it and make it T. So Maybe later but I don't know.

Well, there are some questions to answer, and thank you for them. Maybe now I can start answering some or idk.

Chapter 23: Questions

School might never be the same after that news report. When I arrived at school I saw a bunch of students and paparazzi waiting in front of Sanctum. Realizing why they were here I pulled my scroll out and sent a message.

'Enter from the back! Your fans are here!'

With that out of the way I was beginning to walk inside but my scroll started to ring. And looking at it, it was Pyrrha calling me.

"Yea?"

"Distract them."

"How?"

"I don't know, use one of your flash grenades or something."

"I don't think it's powerful enough for that...Maybe I can make one lat-"

"Seth!"

"Okay! How long do you need it for?"

"I'll be at school in Four minutes. I'll enter from the back but I need them to not see me."

Sigh..."Fine, you owe me one then."

"Thank you!"

The call ends and I just look at the crowd of people in the front.

'Okay, how to do this?'

I can blow them up, But I could get suspended from that, Also I might get in more trouble with Mom, so that's out. I could try and flash them but I don't think that will work with this many people.

As the music begins to play, I drop my backpack on the ground and begin to walk toward a tree away from the street. Trying to get the attention of the people I begin to clap my hands going with the beat. As I get to the tree I begin to dance to the best of my ability.

Soon I heard the comments.

"Is he using his Semblance again?" "Why is Seth dancing?" "Ha, what a loser!" "I like the song."

"The kid is a good dancer." "I didn't know Sanctum was a dancing school." "I never heard this song before."

Soon the crowd of students and paparazzi began to pay attention to me as I continued to dance.

'Good, my plan is working I just need to keep this up.'

As I continue I see her car pull up to the school and the door opens revealing Pyrrha. I see her running towards Sanctum. But she stops at the door and looks at me.

'What is she doing? I thought she said she was entering from the back! Just enter the school!' With my hand, I point at her and point at the school while I continue to dance.

I see her pull her scroll out and cover her mouth with one hand.

'Oh, I am not going to hear the end of this.'

As the song begins to end I stop dancing and take a bow. I soon start to walk towards my backpack pick it up and enter the school.

I turn my head and see Pyrrha just looking at me with her hand still covering her mouth.

"What happened to entering from the back?"

I see her compose herself "They were waiting in the back as well. But as soon as I saw you gaining a crowd I took that chance and ran."

I just look at her deadpan "Okay and why did you stop at the door then?"

She just pulled out her scroll and showed me the video of me dancing with the crowd of people just watching me.

"So can you please delete that?"

"Hm. Nope, consider this blackmail as your best friend." She puts her scroll away and begins to walk away.

...

Sigh... "Yep, this is going to be a pain later."

As the day went on, I bearly got the time to talk to Pyrrha in school. The reason was that she always got swarmed by her adoring fans. Every class she entered she was swarmed, it took the teacher to get the students back into their seats and actually begin the class. This went on in every class and ended with the same results.

I was going to get involved to try and keep these savages away but Pyrrha just assured me that she had everything under control. But looking at it now, I could tell she hated this type of attention.

And who could blame her.

But something weird did happen on this day. It was during our Grimm study class. Pyrrha was called to head to the office. Apparently, her Mom came to pick her up, She was surprised by this and we both looked at each other and just shrugged. She just got up and left.

I didn't get to see her after that, but I did receive a text, explaining that it was her manager who came to pick her up. Apparently, she had to do an interview about what happened yesterday. She also told me she was upset by this.

Now that I think about it I don't think this was allowed to happen.

By the end of the school day, as everyone began to go home I decided to stay behind a little longer, The reason was I didn't want to hear the other students ask for an encore from my performance earlier today.

It was a one-and-done show. Never again.

Honestly, this whole day was a mess, everyone bothered Pyrrha about the events of yesterday's Grimm sighting and people were all wondering who was the person next to her when it happened.

Honestly, if the students put their time into doing their work rather than this great mystery of the mysterious person. They would have done wonders in the world. But hey what do I care?

As I start to leave the school and begin my walk home I hear my name being called out.

"Mister Sapphire may I have a moment of your time." I turned and saw a man in a business suit looking at me.

'Oh, great another paparazzi. Where the hell are my flash grenades.'

"If you can please follow me I can take you to see Miss Nikos at her request." He begins to walk away from me.

...

Wait what?

"Wait hold up man!" I just followed him behind the school and saw a limo in the parking lot of the school.

"Please Mister Sapphire, step into the limo." The man asked.

I looked at the limo with a suspicious look.

"Oh, I get it now. I'm supposed to get in your limo and let you take me out for a drive. Then when you pass me a drink, I pass out and wake up chained in a basement and you ready to remove my kidneys." I narrow my eyes at him.

...

"..." The man's eyes widen and his mouth is open wide.

Soon the window of the limo lowers and inside it, I see Pyrrha and her mother looking at me with the same wide eyes and open mouth.

...

"Um. Well then, I'll just enter the limo then." I quickly get inside the limo and sit right next to Pyrrha. I do my best not to look at her or her mother's reaction.

"Seth, are you okay?"

"I had a long week."

"Seth it's only Monday."

I see the man enter the limo and sit right next to us. "Well then... care for a drink?"

I look at him with wide eyes.

"Haha, just kidding."

This was going to be an awkward car ride.

The car ride was silent, every so often I took glances at Pyrrha and at the man next to us. For what it's worth no one was talking and that just made it more confusing for me.

"Sooo. Is there a reason why I am here?"

"Yes. The reason is that people are wondering who was the person next to Pyrrha Nikos in the forest. And Pyrrha is going to do an interview with a news broadcast about it."

I look at Pyrrha with a confused look and mouth "What?"

I just see her mouth back "Sorry!"

"I see... So again Why am I here?"

"Well if I am being frank here Mister Sapphire. You are the only one who matches the description of the person who was next to her. That and you are the only close person that has been seen with Miss Nikos."

...

I mean he ain't wrong.

"So do I have to do an interview as well?"

"If you wish so. The only reason you are here is the request of Miss Nikos. Something about moral support."

Oh well, that's nice to know. I lean in on Pyrrha and whisper to her. "Did you tell them it was me?"

She whispers back. "No, but I did inform them that I had plans with someone that day, so I guess it was a lucky guess. Sorry for dragging you with me."

"It's fine, but to be honest I don't feel too comfortable doing an interview."

"And you don't have to, I'm just happy that I have my best friend with me on this." She throws me a smile.

I smile back. And look out the window.

Well, at least I'm not getting involved in this. If anything I'm just helping a friend with moral support. That being said, How did they find us? Almost no one has ever gone that far from the City walls. And the one who captured the video was a drone, were they spying on Pyrrha? Maybe I'm overthinking this. This is just a simple interview.

"We just arrived, come let us get you ready Miss Nikos." The man opens the limo door and steps out.

Looking outside the window we both see a huge building.

'Yep, this must be the place.'

The halls of the news stations were mostly full of people and equipment going from left to right. People bumping into each other and wheels getting pushed. Honestly, I feel like I'm watching a circus act with how many times I have seen people cause a mess of each other that I would have been on the floor laughing.

But right now I was just leaning on the wall next to a door waiting for Pyrrha to finish with her make-up. Apparently being on television everyone had to put on make-up to be ready for the camera. That's show biz.

I pulled out my scroll and decided to send a text to Mom just in case she was worried about where I was. The last time I didn't send her a text she became panicked over my disappearance over two hours. I mean I can take care of myself now. I am graduating soon and going to become a huntsman.

The door next to me opens and I turn to see Pyrrha's Mom step out and look at me.

"You know she is not changing Seth you can step inside right?"

"I know, but unlike some, I like to give people privacy and not get involved."

"Hm... Are you sure you don't like to get involved even when the person asks you it has nothing to do with you?" She looks at me with knowing eyes.

...

"Okay, I'm not that bad."

"I know Seth thank you. To be honest here and don't let Pyrrha know this, I'm also happy you are here for her. You two have been close ever since we arrived here in Argus. So again Thank you, Seth."

"Nah it's fine, that's what friends are for. We are just enjoying our last time together."

"Last time what do you mean?"

"Well we might be heading to different academies and we might not go to the same one, I mean I still haven't decided on which one I might go to. And honestly, at this point, I'm going to decide it by a coin toss if I can't pick one."

"Well, at least you are in the same boat as Pyrrha."

"What do you mean Miss Nikos?"

"Seth I told you before to call me Nereid. And she hasn't told you? She-"

The door opens behind us and out walks Pyrrha.

"Okay, I'm ready! Oh, what are you two talking about?"

"Oh nothing dear, I was just having a little talk with Seth. Are you ready for the interview?"

"I am. So Seth how do I look?"

...

I was looking at her to the best of my ability but if I was being honest here I had no idea what had changed in her appearance.

"Uh, you look really nice Pyrrha." I covered my face and looked to the side. In this case, this will show that I was too flustered to add anything else and hopefully, she bought it.

"Thank you. Well, I will see you after the interview." With that, she begins to walk away.

After she left her mother leaned into me and whispered "Good save Seth, and to tell you, she added a little bit of green eyeshadow." She begins to walk away following her daughter.

'Is that what it was.'

Wait what was she about to tell me? Oh well, if anything I can ask her later.

"Ah, Mister Sapphire just the person I wanted to talk to." I turn and see the man in the suit walking toward me. " If you can please follow me I can take you where you need to be."

"Uh, don't I have to be back here and watch from here or?"

"Oh no no I have the perfect place for you."

...

That sounds very ominous. And by looking at him, I didn't trust him.

But I follow him any way. I quickly tapped inside my jacket and felt one of my grenades was still there. Just in case.

After a good minute of walking, I knew something was wrong when I passed the same dressing room twice and when I was about to speak up he stopped and turned to me.

"Right through here Mister Sapphire, you will have a good view of the interview." With his hand, he shows a door.

Something told me not to go through that door but my curiosity did get the better of me so I began to open it and walk through it.

As I walked through the door I could hear someone talking and then heard my name called out.

"Seth?"

I turned my head and saw Pyrrha next to a man and a woman on a desk. I turned my head again and saw a whole crew of people with cameras and mics.

...

I am now realizing I have been set up.

I tried to back away and reach for the door but it was locked.

"Well then our new guest has arrived come on down and introduce yourself, young man."

Looking back at the desk with the people and then at the camera and then at Pyrrha I just knew I was not getting out of this one with a simple flash grenade.

'That son of a bitch set me up!'

As I took a seat next to Pyrrha she leaned in and whispered to me. "Why are you here? I thought you said you didn't want to do an interview?"

I whisper back more harshly "That son of a bitch manager of yours set me up. Now I'm stuck here."

I can see that she was surprised by what I told her and turned her head to the other two people.

"Excuse me but I think you have this wrong. He doesn't need to be here."

"Nonsense this will be alright, All we will do is ask him one question and then he will just have to sit there for the remainder of the interview." The woman said.

One question. Well, that can't be too bad.

"I know but he doesn't want-"

"Hold up Pyrrha. I'm getting paid right?"

"Yes."

"Deal!"

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, honestly it's better like this." I lean in and whisper to her. "If I leave now that guy is going to be having a few words with my hands right about now." I sit upright and fix my sunglasses while smiling.

"Yeah, that would be bad."

"Will be back in 10!" A man begins to count down informing the people on the desk.

Okay, Seth take it easy and nothing can go wrong. I have seen the news a bunch of times and everything turns out boring for the people. It was just like they told me, answer the question and just sit there and look nice and get paid.

What could go wrong?

"And we are back people of Argus with our interview with Mistral's golden child! The invincible girl herself. Pyrrha Nikos." The man said.

"Hello." Pyrrha just waves at the camera.

"And with a guest that she brought with. Care to introduce yourself."

I wanted to joke and it took all the power in me not to joke.

"Hi my name is Seth Sapphire, nice to meet you all."

"Well, then Mister Sapphire it's good to have you here. Now Miss Nikos can you please explain to us and the people of Argus what had occurred on that fate full day?"

Pyrrha began to explain what had occurred on Sunday, Luckily she avoided giving the details of why she was in the forest and why I was with her. Even though the news people were trying to get all the information out of her. Pyrrha did her best to answer the question they gave her.

I on the other hand was just sitting there, wondering why was I here again.

"I see, but how is Mister Sapphire involved in this?"

Well, there goes their question.

"Well... That place is where I usually train."

...

"Is that it?"

I just nod "Yea that's pretty much it." easiest check I ever got.

"Interesting. So you both decided to meet in the forest where no one would find you and do some things~" The woman added.

...

"We are just Friends!" Pyrrha and I both said at the same time.

"Of course, Miss Nikos is a three-time champion she is capable of getting anyone if she chooses. Why would she ever pick someone as Mister Sapphire? Honestly, she can do better." The man said.

I reached inside my jacket and tried to bring out my grenade but Pyrrha pulled my hand away from it.

"I would kindly ask you not to insult my friend." I see Pyrrha narrow her eyes.

"Oh, my apologies to both of you. But that still doesn't answer the question. Why were you both there?"

I just stayed quiet, I had a feeling this was another setup.

"Listen it really doesn't matter what we were-"

"Did he challenge you into a fight? Now that I think about it, he does look familiar. I feel like I've seen him before in one of your tournament runs. Is he someone you beat?" The man question.

"No, if anything he's the dancer of Sanctum." The woman said.

The WHAT!

"Of course how can I forget. Reports said something of a young man dancing on Sanctum grounds today waiting for the arrival of Miss Nikos. Show the clip."

We both turn to the screen next to us and on the screen, it shows me dancing next to a tree in front of a crowd of students and people.

I just simply cover my face with my orange scarf.

'AHHHHHHH!'

I feel a hand behind my back and look up to see Pyrrha just tapping my back and mouthing 'Sorry'.

The video ends and the reporters look at me.

"Right now I remember him. The one with the white eyes the one from Atlas, the person that you beat with ease."

This guy just loves to run his mouth.

"Is this what you are training to be Mister Sapphire a dancer and not a huntsman? Wow, I can't believe that you Mister Sapphire were able to make it this far, and soon you will be graduating and heading towards Haven, I bet to follow Miss Nikos over there."

"Excuse me but that is not-"

I place a hand on Pyrrha's shoulder and shake my head at her.

"Not what Miss Nikos? Is he not heading to Haven? Is he going to Beacon or Shade? Or is he heading back home to Atlas? Honestly anywhere away from you will be so better right?" The woman chimes in.

"I'm actually from Mantle. Get your facts straight." I retort back.

"Mantle? That slums. You know I can see it in you. Wow, your parents must be so proud of you. To be able to live in Argus and being away from-"

I slam my hand on the table and lean forward toward the man. " Other another word about Mantle and I will give you a colonoscopy with that camera." I point at the one close to us.

"Seth we can-"

"Wow, anger issues now. And you are trying to become a huntsman? I pity the school you go to. You're acting more like a bad person here rather than a good one."

Stay calm. I can't let these people get to me. I can see my fist shake with anger but I need to stay calm.

"How must your parents feel that their son is acting like this? Your Mother and Father must be so -"

SLAM!

A loud slam was heard and it wasn't from me. It was next to me.

"Shut up."

"Miss Nikos?"

"You don't know him so I recommend that you don't insult him." I see Pyrrha's eyes go narrow and full of hate toward the two.

I decide to stand up.

"You want to know something." I start "You two ain't nothing. Nothing. You both aren't the most, must-seen news reporters. You ain't no, Lisa Lavender or Alexander Light. You both are a hundred pounds of nothing, Five feet Nothing. Hold up I got a call." I pull out my scroll and see that I did get a text from Mom and they didn't look happy. "Hello? Oh hey, it's Nothing, he says he knows you two. You both are nothing! Screw you guys, I'm going home!"

I begin to leave. And behind me, I can hear Pyrrha also get up as well.

"What he said. I am out as well."

The woman looks at the cameraman. "Can... Can we go to commercials?"

I was already out the door when she said something about commercials, I kept walking out and heard my name being called out from behind.

"Seth wait!"

"I'm going to find your manager and have a talk with him." He's lucky I didn't bring Favillae or else this would have been more fun.

As I walked past more rooms I soon heard a voice and someone screaming in the distance. Running toward it I turned the corner and saw an amazing sight.

Pyrrha's Mother picked up the manager and choked the man in the air.

"You said you were not going to involve him! So what change!"

"It would...be good... for ratings! HELP!"

"You did this for a rating!" I hear Pyrrha's voice behind me and see her begin to walk towards her mother.

"Please understand Miss Nikos. The news people were pressuring me to find out who the person was. And it was to assure that you were the one who dealt with the Grimm."

"All they were doing was insulting Seth. So what was the point of this."

They wanted answers and yet all they did was get on my case. Man, I just want to go home now and get some rest.

Sigh..."Look um... I'm just going home now. This whole day has been a mess so... Yeah see you." I began to walk away but I felt a hand on my jacket.

"We are taking you home Seth. Right Mother."

"Of course dear. This one is the one walking home." She throws the guy away and begins to walk away dragging me with them.

For some strange reason, I felt my face turn red.

The moment we left the building we entered the limo and I just sat down looking at the window. The car ride was quiet only hearing a little 'Um' every so offend. Feel like Pyrrha was trying to find a way to start but couldn't do it. Luckily her mother was the one to do it.

"Seth Listen we are sorry that you got involved in this whole mess. Right, Pyrrha."

"Yes! Seth listen I had no idea what he had planned so please understand that we-"

"I didn't get paid." I just look at them.

...

"Now I know what you may think but I kind of needed the money for something."

They both just looked at me for a good minute but in the end, they started to snicker at each other and then go full-on laughter.

"Seth... Please never change." I hear Miss Nikos tell me.

"Aren't you mad Seth? They were-"

"My mom told me this a long time ago. 'Sometimes there is a right time and a bad time to be angry. That's when you just need to control your anger. When that time comes and you can't control it. You will either make a mistake that could cause you something dear.' So yeah I was angry, but I think getting angry would have made me look like a bad guy like they said I was. Nope, I'm better than that." I look out the window.

"Wow, Seth that's very-"

"Also seeing your mom handle the guy was way better than I thought it would be. It gave me a good laugh." I turn to them and see Pyrrha's mom look embarrassed.

Sigh..."You are something, Seth."

"Good to know you care for me though."

"Hmm."

It's really nice that she actually does care for me. I know mom does care for Pyrrha as well. Now all we need is for them to care about each other. Little by little I guess.

"By the way I was wondering what were you going to tell me, Miss Nikos?"

"Hmm? I don't know who are you referring to." She looks away from me.

Sigh..." Nereid what were you going to tell me? Something about a boat?"

"A boat?" Pyrrha question as well.

"Oh that, well Pyrrha also hasn't decided on what academy to go to. Same as you Seth. Honestly dear why didn't you tell him?"

...

"..." I look at Pyrrha and see her face with shock.

"..." Pyrrha just looked at her mom with shock.

"Is something wrong dear?"

"That was supposed to be a secret Mom! Why did you tell him!"

"Opps that's my bad. But look at the bright side you two still haven't decided yet. And I'll tell you Seth was going to flip a coin to see where he goes."

"You were going to do WHAT!?"

"I have a 50/50 chance I always lose those. (He really does. C6 Mona)

"What were your options?"

"Haven or Beacon... Why?"

"Why not Atlas or Shade?"

"Friends recommended me not to go to Atlas. Also, I don't like sand, it's coarse, rough, and irritating and it gets everywhere. So that's a nope from Shade."

"Seth you were going to decide it on a coin flip. This is your future."

"Hey... Any way the wind blows doesn't really matter to me."

"What?!"

"I don't know I'm just saying things because I don't actually know where to go. I mean you don't know either and you told me you had something, so why lie to me?"

"That's because... I..."

"We have arrived at the destination ma'am." The driver told us.

I looked outside and saw that we had arrived at my house.

"Look you both had a long day. Why don't you two just rest and you can talk about it tomorrow." Miss Nikos told us.

We both looked at each other and nodded.

Sigh..."Fine, we can talk about it tomorrow. I'll see you soon."

I stepped outside the limo and began to walk towards the stairs to my house.

"Seth!" I hear my name called out and turn. " I'm thinking of leaving the kingdom and I was planning on-"

The door behind me opens and outcomes.

"Sweet heart your back, I saw everything and... NIKOS!"

Oh boy.

I see Pyrrha get pushed to the side by her mother. "SAPPHIRE!"

Okay, we don't need this now.

I turn around grab my Mom's arm and begin to drag her inside.

"Bye Pyrrha see you at school!"

"See you at school as well. Drive!"

The limo begins to speed off away from us.

Well, that moment was ruined.

'Leave the kingdom huh? Hmm, I guess I can think of my options now.'

I look at my Mom trying to calm down.

...

If I leave then.

The next day.

You know how I said that school might never be the same again after that news report? Well, I never figured that it would affect me as well.

"Hey! Dancer of Sanctum get lost!" "You are making this school look like a joke Sapphire!" "You have no right to be here!"

How and Why was I a bad guy?

As I enter the school I see even more people give me the eyes of disgust and or hate.

Entering class was the same thing but at least they kept their distance from me. Well, I feel like I'm back in first grade again... Ah, the memories.

Ring!

I feel my scroll buzz and I check to see what I got.

'Is Seth Sapphire using the Invisible Girl for fame?!'

...

I put my scroll down and close my eyes.

You know if this was a story, I think that a Villain arc should happen right now.

A/N: Okay so I miscalculated on how many chapters before the plot that's my bad. But on the bright side, we are almost done. Home stretch!

So like I said earlier my eye got swollen but now it is better. I won't be going crazy and continue on to the next chapter right away, but I will be taking breaks for my vision.
