Chapter 31: Reach for the sky!
It took me every ounce of power not to curse out loud when I opened my eyes.
Damn, sun.
Rubbing my eyes I sat up and looked around me. There I saw a lot of people still sleeping and others who were beginning to wake up as well. Pulling my scroll off my shorts, I inspect it to check the time.
'Huh well, it's already eight. I think initiation should start later, but at least I have time to prepare.'
I put my scroll away and reach for my sunglasses. Putting them on. I begin to get up from the ground and stretch myself.
'Well, at least the good thing right now, is my head isn't in pain. So hopefully it already passed me.'
I look down to my right and see Jaune still sleeping. I should wake him up... But I'll just let him be for now.
"Wake up lazy bud!" I loud voice echoed around the room and turning my head I saw the girl with orange hair standing over the guy with black hair and pink tips. The guy begins to rise, while the girl begins to sing around him, saying that it's morning.
I could tell that the guy was already used to it because he just accepted his fate.
I on the other hand just begin to rub my head again cursing my luck.
I look at Jaune again on the ground peacefully sleeping. I remove the dark thought of me wanting to kick him just for him to wake up now. And just left the room trying to get ready for the day at hand.
After ten minutes of freshening up. I was currently brushing my teeth while thinking to myself.
'Okay Seth, everything should be good for you. You're in Beacon and about to take part in today's initiation. This is what we have been waiting for. All that training and all of the help I have received has led you to this very moment. All you have to do is pass and you will be a new student of Beacon Academy.'
I should probably call Mom. And tell her how it has been so far, but she might worry if I tell her about these headaches... Maybe after I should call her.
I splash water on my face and spit after brushing. I look myself in the mirror and put my sunglasses back on.
I then turned to my left and saw the only two people inside as well, and the girl in orange doing all the talking.
"I can't believe we've been at Beacon for a full twenty-four hours. Not that I thought we'd get kicked out or anything, I mean you're the perfect student and I'm well, I'm me but it's just crazy you know."
As she continued to talk a storm to the guy, who was just listening... I think. A thought did come to mind though...
Why was she in the boy's bathroom?
Anyway, I just left right away and began to head toward the ballroom again to get my stuff.
As I entered the ballroom, I saw more people already up and beginning to get dressed for the day. Some were already in their combat gear and others were just now waking up. Looking around I also saw Ruby and Yang up. Ruby had a tired look in her eyes, just now getting up and Yang was just stretching.
I began to head toward my sleeping bag and saw Jaune still out cold.
'This guy might be a heavy sleeper 'cause how is he not up now?' I stand next to him and begin to light-kick his legs.
"John, wake up man. It's time to get up." He stirs around only to tell me five more minutes.
Yeah, no thanks, bro.
I lean down toward him grab him by the shoulders and begin to wake him. "Wakie Wakie, Wakie Wakie it's time for school. Come on wake up it's time for school come on man." I shake him a bit.
"Wah... Oh, what time is it?"
"It's time to go to war man. Get up and get dressed. We got initiation today." I stand back up and see him sit upright. He then gets up and begins to walk toward the exit to head to the bathrooms.
That man's confidence is on a whole nother level. To be walking in that takes some serious balls.
I turn around and grab my clothes to get dressed.
After a few minutes, I was already dressed in my combat outfit. My Jacket was on, my black combat pants were on with my belt, and my scarf was around my body safe and secure. Ready to start the day.
I feel a buzz in my pocket and pull out my scroll only to see that I got a message from Pyrrha.
'Morning Seth, we should meet up at the cafeteria for breakfast.'
'Sure, I'll meet you there. I'm just about to leave for there as well. See you soon.' I send the message and put my scroll in my pocket, I turn to set my sleeping bag to the side, with my other stuff. Thankfully after we get our rooms we can come pick them up later. So at least they won't get stolen.
As I was leaving, I heard that girl once again talk.
"We been friends for so long, what are the odds we'd still be together? Well, not together together. Not that I'm saying you're not handsome you are handsome but that will just be weird. Right?" The guy on the other hand was tying his sleeping bag as the girl continued to talk.
'So they are childhood friends. Huh, so they have a past as well. Kind of like Me and Pyrrha.' I thought to myself as I left the room.
"Hey, Shades!" I turned around and was met with Yang also walking out.
"Morning Yang. Sleep well?"
"It was alright." She shrugs her shoulder and looks at me. "But I can see that you are ditching me again. When will you learn." She wiped a fake tear from her eyes and gave me a sad look.
'Oh gods.' I thought to myself.
"Well, just getting ready for the day, cause you know, initiation. You should also get ready as well. Big day today." I tell her while looking at her still in her, pajamas?
"Like what you see?" I looked her in the face and saw that she was smirking at me.
I smile at her and turn around. "I'll be in the cafeteria with Pyrrha. If you want to join us as well, feel free." I start to walk away and wave back. "See you!"
Yang just stared at Seth leaving, smirking to herself knowing all too well that she was going to have a blast here in Beacon.
"Yang, why are you smiling like that?"
"Oh, nothing Ruby, just planning my future in this school. Anyway, let's go and freshen up." Yang grabs Ruby's arm and drags her away.
After avoiding that whole situation with Yang, I made my way towards the cafeteria of Beacon. Honestly, this school is way bigger than I imagined, I feel like Haven has nothing on this place, compared to size that is. Someone could get lost here if they don't pay attention. Lucky for me I was able to see a few places before stumbling onto the cafeteria. So I at least knew how to get there.
That being said I haven't had any headaches so far, so maybe just get a little bit of tea, to prepare for any situation that I might face. I have no idea what today may bring, all I know for sure is that no matter what happens I need to be ready for anything.
Entering the cafeteria I am greeted by people all around sitting and eating. Some of them looked way older meaning they must be upper classmates. Only a good handful looked my age, some were either sitting there, while others were eating. All in all, they all looked like they were ready for today as well.
Looking around the room I spot Pyrrha sitting alone at the far end of the cafeteria. Without question, I begin to head her way.
"Morning Pyrrha, how's it going for you?"
I see her face me and smile. "Morning Seth, everything has been fine so far... Well, almost everything."
"What's wrong?"
"Let's get our breakfast and I will tell you." She gets up from the table and we head in line to get our food. As we were waiting in line I turned to her and asked again.
"So what's wrong?"
Sigh..."Weiss."
"Oh, that bad huh?"
"I mean she is not bad, to say the least, she is just... How can I put this without being mean."
"She is too much, too bossy, annoying, a total Bi-"
"Too much!" She quickly steps in. " She is just, way too forward on some things, especially when it comes to trying to be on the same team. Since yesterday she has been saying how the two of us can become Beacon top students if we pair up together." She begins to rub her head in annoyance. "Also she hasn't made the best first impression as well with you as well."
"Why? Is she talking bad about me?"
"Yes. She heard of the news, on 'how you are using me for fame. And how they are calling you a stalker.' I tried to explain it to her but I felt like she wasn't paying too much attention to my side of the story. I'm sorry."
"Hey, don't apologize for that. It's not your fault she can't listen to reason. If anything I could care less about what she thinks of me. However if she begins to be a problem, well..."
"Please don't try anything like you did back in Sanctum."
"If it makes you feel any better. I will not fight her." I smile at her and she in return rolls her eyes at me while showing a little smile as well.
We get our food and begin to walk back to the table. Sitting down we begin to eat and talk about what today will bring us. But I did have one question for her before that.
"So how did you meet Yang yesterday?" I asked as I began to eat my food.
"Oh well, it's just like she said yesterday. She spotted me and we started talking about what had occurred after we met up with her. She told me why she was there and I told her how we got to be there."
"Really, what did she say?"
"Well... Don't take this the wrong way, but she told me not to tell anyone else... Sorry."
"Oh, well it's fine. Huh, at least you two got along then."
"Well, you could say that." She looked down at her food and her face began to turn a shade of red.
"What did she do?"
"Nothing to worry Seth, just girl talk. Ehe. By the way Seth, how are you feeling now? Any headaches?"
"I had a little pain in the morning but now I feel somewhat better. This is why I also got tea, to see if it helps a little." I took a bite of the waffles that I got. "Hopefully they won't happen at initiation, or else... Well, it was nice knowing you."
I feel a kick on my leg. "Don't joke about that. I'm sure you will be fine. If not well, let's hope we find each other sooner rather than later."
I begin to rub my leg off the kick she gave me. 'Fuck! This is what I get for not getting armor on my legs.'
"Yeah, from what I heard from Mom when she took part in her initiation. They dropped them off at a village and they had to make their way back to Haven before the day ended. Apparently, her teammates were... Intense from what she told me. But this could be different, so we will just have to see for ourselves."
"All we know is that we will be in a team of four. I wonder who will be on our team?"
"If we get teamed up." She narrows her eyes at me. "Anything can happen Pyrrha. But I'm sure whoever is on our team, will just have to see... I just hope neither of us gets Weiss."
Pfft
We both laughed at that and looked around us. Any one of these people can be our teammates. And for the next four years, we will have to get used to us being a team. Just like Mom, Fiona, and Marrow told me. I sure hope I will get along with them.
I feel a tap on my shoulder and turn my head only to see no one there.
'Huh? What was that?' I turned back only to see that my plate of waffles was gone.
"Huh? My waffles?"
"So are you both excited for today?" I turn my head next to me and see Yang sitting there eating my fucking waffles.
"Why are you like this?" I ask her with a tired expression on my face.
"What? Just trying to know more about you guys." She tells me while she continues to eat my breakfast.
"Sorry about her Seth." I turned and saw Ruby sit down next to Pyrrha, with her own food.
"So like I said, Are you two excited for today?" Yang looked at both of us.
I nod my head. "Yeah, I guess I am." "I as well. This is what we have been training for."
"So where are you two from?"
"Well I'm originally from Mistral, but after some events that happened when I was young, I moved to Argus. That's where I met Seth." Pyrrha told the two.
"I was born in Mantle. Kind of like Pyrrha, after some time I moved to Argus as well with my Mom. And we kicked it off from there and became friends after that. What about you two? Where are you two from?"
"Well, Ruby and I are from Vale, but we live on a little Island called Patch. My baby sister and I do come to visit Vale from time to time, but now I guess we will be living here for the future."
"Wait Baby sister?" I question.
"Oh yeah, Me and Ruby are sisters." Yang informs us.
I looked at both of them and really questioned it.
"Same dad, but different Moms." Ruby told us.
"Oh cool."
"But don't let her fool you. She is a total badass. She is only fifteen and she is already in Beacon." Yang said with pride.
"Yang! Please keep it down."
"Wait you're fifteen? How!?"
"Well... I got invited to the school two days ago by the headmaster... After I... saved a shop from being robbed." Ruby told us but she was trying not to look at us out of embarrassment.
I looked at Pyrrha and she looked at me as well.
Well, that answered the question of why the shop window was broken that morning. But still, what the fuck is wrong with the headmaster of this school!
"Well, that's awesome Ruby, glad to have you a part of this year." I tell her.
"Yes, be proud of what you accomplish, and don't be ashamed of it." Pyrrha also gives her praise to her.
"Please, stop. I just want to have normal knees here. I'm not special."
"Normal Knees?"
"Attention! First year's students your Initiation will begin in forty minutes please prepare by that time. I repeat All first-year students Initiation will begin in forty minutes." The PA system informed all of us.
"I guess it's almost time. You three Ready?"
"Heck yeah! I was born ready."
"Yeah!"
"I am as well."
"Good, we will see what the future has for us. Hell, maybe we will all be on the same team?"
"Ohh, Why is that? Are you trying to room with three beautiful girls Seth~?" I see Yang lean close to me. I on the other hand slide away from her and begin to drink my Tea.
"I take it back I am not ready for today."
"Haha! Take a joke man. I'm just messing with you." Yang just slaps my back assuring me.
"Yang, please knock it off. Seth, sorry about her she just... Like to do this to people." Ruby tells me.
"Fine, sorry I can tell Seth is already taken." Yang looks at Pyrrha and wiggles her eyebrows at her.
"We are just friends Yang, and have been for the past eleven years now." Pyrrha tells her.
"Oof, too bad Seth. But..." She turns to Seth. But he wasn't paying attention to her.
Seth was looking at someone off in the corner of the cafeteria sitting by herself. She looked sad from what he could tell. Almost like she was lonely.
'Maybe she just needs friends, to remove that icy demeanor. Hopefully, here she will find it.'
"Yo Shades you there?" I feel Yang poke my face and I turn to face her.
"Yeah, you were saying?"
"Nothing, just wondering who you are seeing?"
"No one, just thinking to myself."
"Hey guys, we should probably begin to get our stuff. So we can be ready when it's time." Ruby told us.
We all nod and begin to get up from the table we were sitting at. As we began to leave I saw the orange hair once again talking and slurping up some pancakes, while she was talking.
"Right! What was I thinking, but still I hope we end up on the same team together. Oh, we should come up with some sort of plan to make sure we end up on the same team together. What if we bribe that master? No that won't work he has a school."
'What the hell is she talking about?'
"You know them?" Pyrrha asked me.
"No, but I feel like they have been following me around all morning. But I think that's been a coincidence." I turned back and we began to head toward the locker room to get our equipment.
"Still though. They might have a good idea."
"What's that?"
"If I can't find you, I'll Quack." She giggles at that. "Or I can play a song and hopefully someone will find me."
"Speaking of songs, What was that when we met? I meant to ask you guys that. It sounded like it was coming from you Shades?" Yang said as she began to walk next to us.
'Am I really going to be called shades from now on?'
"Oh, well that's..." Should I tell them the truth? Or should I keep my real Semblance a secret for now... I mean I haven't told Pyrrha this and I feel like she did also want to ask that back in Mistral... Maybe I'll-
"Oh, that's Seth Semblance. Music comes out of him when he taps his heart." I look at Pyrrha with a shocked face.
Why would she tell them that!
"Really that's cool. But for real, that song from the club was really nice. What's it called?"
"Oh ugh..." I begin to remember the song and all of the lyrics of it. But one line really caught my attention in the song. "I burn."
"Nice, I really like it."
"Well if you like that one I have many more where that came from. You might even hear one at Initiation."
The moment we made it to the locker rooms it was filled with first-year students getting ready.
"We will see you guys later, Me and Ruby are gonna get our stuff." Yang waved at us and began to leave with Ruby at her tail. "See you guys."
"Well then let us get our stuff as well." I begin to walk toward my locker and hear Pyrrha tell me. "My locker is over there Seth. I will see you soon." I nod at her and begin to walk to mine.
Walking past a few people I make it to mine and enter the code to open it.
'What was it again? Oh right, that song. 8675309' The locker unlocks. 'I got it, I got it!
I open it up and Grab Saltatio Favillae, then place it on my back to secure it, with a few shotgun shells that I also place in my pants pocket for extra ammo. I then grab six grenades of different explosive Dust and put them inside my Jacket while placing two on my belt for quick reach. With all of that secure I put my gloves on, sip up my jacket all the way up, fix my scarf, and close my locker door.
'Everything is secure and ready to go.' I stretch a bit to let loose my body, can't be having cramps on the battlefield. I leave and begin to head toward Pyrrha.
As I was heading in her direction I was met with, once again the girl with orange hair. "I know! We'll have some sort of signal like a distress signal. A secret signal so we can find each other in the forest. Can you imitate a sloth?"

'Can Sloths make noise?'
"Nora." The guy with black hair said.
"Yes, Ren?"
"I don't think sloths make a lot of noise."
Nora looks too shocked to say anything but then she smiles again. "That's why it's perfect! No one will suspect we're working together!"
"Come on Nora, let's go."
They soon began to walk away together and I just looked at them like. 'What the hell did I just watch? Well anyway good for them.'
Back to what I was doing, I was heading toward Pyrrha and saw Ruby and Yang talking amongst themselves. I walked past them and continued to walk toward Pyrrha who was also talking to someone as well.
'Oh great, this is going to be fun.'
As I got close to them I overheard Weiss say. "Well, I was thinking maybe we could be on a team together?"
"Well, that sounds grand."
'Oh, Pyrrha you sweet child.'
"Great!" I then see Weiss turn around and begin to monologue in her head. Whatever she was thinking, I feared for.
"Hey, Pyrrha you all ready to go?" I see her turn to me and nod her head.
"Yes. All set and ready."
"You again! How many times are you going to bother Pyrrha with your presents." We turn to see Weiss with an angry face.
'Just ignore it, Seth. This person just needs help.'
"Right... Well, then I'm guessing you are also ready for today?"
"Of course I am you idiot. A Schnee is always prepared for combat at any level. Something that you, a small-time person would never understand." She raises her head with pride after she said that.

I take back everything I thought about her earlier. F this girl.
I looked at Pyrrha and mouth 'I'm so sorry' to her, but she only shook her head. Turning back to Weiss.
"I'm a foot taller than you, but whatever..." I tell her in a low, not caring voice.
I see her lower her head and look at me with anger. "What was that?!"
I turn my head and look away from her. "I said I can't hear you from down there..."
She then begins to walk toward me "Speak up, I can't hear you from up there!"
"Weiss! This is my Friend Seth." Pyrrha now got in front of both of us trying to stop the situation at hand. "Seth, please be nice as well."
'Why am I in trouble!'
"Wait you two are friends?! Pyrrha is he bothering you this much that he is forcing you to be his friend?"
"I've known her for the past eleven years girl. Something you might not know. Especially if all you get is information from the news." I tell Weiss this and in return, she narrows her eyes at me.
And I return the favor as well.
"Oh Great." She said.
But then another voice is heard. One that even I didn't see coming.
"You know what else is great? Me, Jaune Arc, nice to meet you." Jaune appeared out of nowhere and got in between everyone.
"You again?" Weiss said while crossing her arms.
"Nice to meet you Jaune." Pyrrha said to him trying to also be nice. But Jaune just pushed Pyrrha away trying to get close to Weiss.

...
I looked at Pyrrha only to see her surprise at what had happened to her.
"You alright?"
"I don't know. What happened?"
"You just got pushed away. By him." We see Jaune flexing his arms trying to impress Weiss as he continues to talk to her. Meanwhile, Weiss was not happy with any of it.
'You know there is confidence and then there is overconfidence. I am really starting to hate it.'
"No need to be embarrassed. So been hearing rumors about teams. I was thinking you and me would make a good one, what do you say?"
"Actually, the teams are comprised of four students each so-"
"You don't say, well hot stuff play your cards right, and maybe you could join up with the winning team."

He is so getting punched, wind included.

...
I blink. Where did that come from?
I see Weiss get in front of Pyrrha trying her best to separate the two. "Jaune is it? Do you have any idea who you are talking to?"
"Not in the slightest snow angel."
'Holy shit Jaune! Pick a side!'
"This is Pyrrha." "Hello again."
"Pyrrha graduated top of her class at Sanctum."
"Never heard of it."
"That's in Argus." I chime in.
Weiss just gasped at that. "She's won the Mistral regional tournament four years in a roll, a new record."
"The what?"
You can not be serious dude.
Now Weiss looked really upset with that, While Pyrrha was just smiling.
"She's on the front of every pumpkin Pete's marshmallow flake box!" Weiss said while flailing her arms around.
Gasp... "That's you! They only do that for star athletes and cartoon characters."
"That's where you only know her from? A box of cereal!" Even I question his logic.
"So after hearing all of this. Do you really think you're in a position to ask her to be on your team?"
"View must be great from that glass house of yours..." Weiss just turned to me and narrowed her eyes again while I narrowed my eyes at her as well.
"Actually Jaune I think you will make a great leader." We both turn to see Pyrrha consoling Jaune.
"Oh stop it!"
"Seriously please stop it, this kind of behavior should not be encouraged."
Jaune suddenly gets even closer to Weiss making her back away from him. "Sounds like Pyrrha is on board for team Jaune. Spots are filling up quick, maybe even Seth will make the team as well. But maybe I could pull some strings to find a place for you. What do you say?"
"Alright, that's a bit too close. Pyrrha a little help here."
I turn to see Pyrrha throw her Spear at Jaune making him fly backward toward the wall and make him get stuck there. "I'm sorry." She apologized right away for her actions.
"Would all first-year students please report to Beacon Cliff for initiation. Again, All first-year students report to Beacon Cliff immediately." The PA system informed us.
I guess it's time.
I turn back and see Pyrrha walking away with Weiss to the exit and see Jaune still on the floor.
Walking toward him I also see Ruby and Yang get close as well.
"Having some trouble there lady killer?" Yang asked in a joking manner.
"I don't understand. My dad said all women look for is confidence. Where did I go wrong?" Jaune wondered as Ruby gave a hand to help him up.
"Snow angel probably wasn't the best start."
"Also being overconfident. Doesn't help at all. It just makes you annoying to others." I tell him as we begin to walk toward the exit.
Soon Yang leans in and whispers to me. "You think he has a chance?"
I look back at Jaune struggling to walk normally. "Very, very, very low chance. What you are asking is for a miracle at that point."
"Yeah, I figure. What about you?"
I look at her confusedly. "What are we talking about here?"
"Snow angel. I saw the way you two looked at each other. I almost saw sparks there."
"I think that was more of us not trying to fight each other. Rather than anything else."
"Sure but still what are the chances?"
I chuckle at that and give her a random number."14 million 605 to 1."

"So... there's a chance," She elbows me playfully and I just roll my eyes at that.
"If you want to believe in it go ahead. But for now. We have a bigger goal in mind right now."
We all left the locker room and started to head our way toward Beacon Cliff for the start of our journey.
Beacon cliff... Was no joke a cliff.
You know from what Mom told me, this was something I had no idea what we could expect. For the most part, we are near the cliff, and below us is a forest. I honestly have no idea what the headmaster has in store for us but this was not what I originally thought.
Getting closer I began to see a few more people standing near the edge and looking over the horizon as well.
'What the hell are they going to make us do?'
"The view is nice though." I heard Yang comment.
"I see trees as far as the eye can see. Yeah, it really is nice." I said while rubbing my head.
"I wasn't talking about that." I turn and see her staring at me.

...
"God damn it, Yang." I turn away from her, Ignoring her comment.
"Really! That didn't get you I've been trying all morning to get a reaction out of you." She tells me.
'So that's her game. Well, at least now I know how she functions.'
I just ignored it and soon we heard someone talk behind us. Turning my head I see the woman with blonde hair and green eyes and wearing a black cape with purple inside. Next to her, I see the headmaster walking as well with a mug in his hand.
I begin to rub my head. Trying to ignore the images I was seeing of the two.
"Students, if you would please take a step on a launch pad on the ground close to the cliff, so we can begin to explain what you all be doing." The woman said.
Soon we all walked toward where she said and all took our spots, I saw Pyrrha and decided to take the one next to her. I see her look at me and we both nod to each other. I turn my head to the other side of me and see the guy with an awesome mohawk.
I turn to face the two adults and everyone becomes quiet. Waiting for the two to begin.
I can barely take this. I feel like my stomach is spinning and my head is hurting. I feel like I'm going to pass out any moment now. This... This right here is fear for me.
I am scared of what's about to happen.
I close my eyes and begin to calm myself.
'Don't be mad please, stop the hating'
"For years you have trained to become warriors." The man spoke and I opened my eyes to pay attention. "Today, your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest." The headmaster stops talking and lets the woman continue.
"Now, I'm sure many of you have heard rumors about the assignment of teams. Well allow us to put an end to your confusion. Each of you will be given teammates." She looks at everyone in front of her, "Today."
I could have sworn I heard a little wine just then.
"These teammates will be with you for the rest of your time here at Beacon, so it is in your best interest to be paired with someone with whom you can work well."
I turned to my left and saw Pyrrha also looking at me. But I also heard the wine again.
"That being said the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next four years." I could have sworn he looked in my direction when he said 'eye contact'.
Also, the wine was coming from Ruby. I turn at the right time to see her upset about this.
"After you've partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest. You will meet opposition along the way. Do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path. Or you will die."
Well... He's a bag of sunshine and rainbows just ready to pop.
"You will be monitored and graded for the duration of your initiation, but our instructors will not intervene. You will find an abandoned temple at the end of the path containing several relics. Each pair must choose one and return to the top of the cliff. You will guard that item as well as your standing and grade you appropriately. Are there any questions?"
I could have sworn I heard Jaune's voice but I just began to think.
'Okay, Land in the forest find someone who will be your partner, and head north to retrieve a relic. Seems easy enough.' I looked around and saw all the people here.
Any one of these people can be my partner and for the next four years we will see how well we get along with each-.
Wait a minute... one, two, three...

...
'There is an odd number of people here.'
"Why is there an odd number of people here?" I asked out loud not knowing everyone heard me.

Soon everyone started to notice and turn to the people in charge.

The headmaster simply drank out of his cup and turned to the woman giving her a nod. The woman simply taps her tablet and soon.

Back on top of the cliff
Everyone watched as the boy wearing shades was sent flying toward the forest. The people who knew him all watched in awe as he began to regain his composure as he went past trees. The people who didn't know him only heard him scream at the top of his lungs the moment he was sent off. And for two who were close to him, they could have sworn they heard him curse out the headmaster.
"Now then." The headmaster said while turning back to face the students. "Who's next?" A smile appeared on the man's face.
A/N: This was originally going to be a two-parter. However, I realized that I didn't know when to stop the chapter so I had to redo it again. (Also, I was never a big fan of two-parters)But I'm happy to end it here for now. Sorry about that.
