Maya and Riley were working at Minkus International when Farkle and Smackle came to visit them in Riley's office. Maya and Riley immediately knew that something bad must have happened when Smackle, now Chief Executive Officer, and Farkle, Chief Science Officer of MI came to them, instead of them being summoned to the Executive Suite on the twenty-eighth floor of the MI Building.
Riley activated the Privacy Mode of her office and the glass wall facing the Staff Area darkened and the Sound Proofing of the office was initiated. They all sat on the sofas in the lounge area of the office. Smackle started the conversation: "As you both know, MI has a very large office staff in Las Vegas, Nevada because MI has very large Contracts providing US Department of Defense services to Nellis Airforce Base in North Las Vegas, and a number of the Casinos downtown and along the Strip in Las Vegas providing Artificial Intelligence gaming machines."
Maya and Riley nodded Yes as Farkle continued: "Well, we sent Auggie to Las Vegas to supervise the installation of an AI Upgrade to the gaming machines at the Bellagio Hotel. The Bellagio is owned by the Blackstone Group and operated by MGM Resorts International, which bought it from Steve Wynn. It is one of our major contracts in Nevada."
Riley immediately asked: "Did Auggie cause a problem for MI? Is Auggie in trouble?" Smackle chuckled: "No Auggie didn't cause a problem, and he is doing a great job supervising the machine upgrades." Maya then looked at Farkle who added: "The problem is Ava!" Maya and Riley looked at each other and spoke at the same time: "Of course, Ava is always a problem!" They all laughed.
Farkle explained what has happened in Las Vegas: "Auggie took Ava with him because the Project is scheduled to last a month. The hotel is providing them with what they call a High-Roller Suite which includes the best of everything. These suites are usually provided to gamblers who spend thousands of dollars when they come to Las Vegas."
Smackle interrupted Farkle: "Well, you know Ava. She started acting like a High-Roller and has been gambling. But she is gambling with MI money! She already has a gambling debt of one hundred thousand dollars. We sent Bella to Las Vegas to handle the situation."
Maya asked: "You mean Bella, the MI Director of Travel and Entertainment?" Smackle nodded Yes, and continued: "She was able to stop Ava's access to MI money for gambling, but you know Ava. She is running amuck and spending MI money using Aggie's MI credit card to buy all kinds of things. Bella needs your help to control Ava. You need to leave immediately and control Ava!"
Riley looked at Farkle: "When Smackle says 'immediately,' do you mean we use our Powers?" Farkle nodded Yes: "Smackle knows everything about your SATT trip to SapphoPrime. And she knows everything about your new Powers." Maya asked them both: "Do we have your permission to do whatever is necessary to control Ava?" This time, Farkle laughed: "Good luck trying to control Ava! Yes, you have our permission to do whatever you decide to do. And you leave now. You have your MI credit cards to buy whatever you need in Las Vegas."
Maya and Riley looked at Smackle: "You heard Farkle, now go!" They all hugged and kissed. Riley got her purse and office travel suitcase and she and Maya went to Maya's office to get her purse and travel suitcase. Then they used their Powers to teleport to the Bellagio by simply thinking "Bellagio-Las Vegas Nevada" and touching their amulets. They materialized in Auggie and Ava's High-Roller suite. Because of the time zone difference, it was early morning in Las Vegas, and Auggie and Ava were still asleep.
Maya kissed Riley: "Well, Honey, they said to do whatever we want to do. So, let's order Room Service breakfast for five and make our plan." Riley kissed Maya: "Peaches, this is going to be so much fun taming Ava. She will never be a problem again." They both laughed loudly. Riley ordered breakfast, and Maya called Bella to tell her they had arrived to help her.
When Bella came into Auggie's suite, she hugged and kissed Maya and Riley. Auggie walked into the kitchen area, shocked to see the three ladies there: "Maya! Riley! How did you two get here? And Bella, why are you here?" All three said one word: "Ava!" He told them to sit and he got a bottle of orange juice and four glasses. As he poured the juice, Riley explained that Farkle and Smackle had sent them to: "Adjust her behavior." He chuckled: "Good luck with that." Then he saw Maya's glare. He continued: "Ok, I see you are serious. What are you planning to do?"
They were interrupted by Room Service delivering their breakfast order and placing the food plates on the table before them. As Auggie signed the delivery receipt, Ava appeared, walking toward the table. She was just wearing a bra and panties, and she was barefoot. Maya immediately stood and moved toward Ava. She grabbed Ava's arm and pulled her toward the bedroom from which Ava had come: "Ava come with me; you've not dressed appropriately for breakfast." Ava was surprised and whined: "Maya, stop, you're hurting me. Why are you even here? The others didn't hear Maya's answer as she and Ava disappeared. Then they heard what sounded like Ava was being spanked and crying.
A few minutes later, Ava, followed by Maya, came to the table wearing a blouse, pants, and sandals. She tried to gently sit on the chair, obviously having a sore butt. During the meal, Riley repeated everything that Farkle and Smackle had told her and Maya. Auggie looked amazed: "I had no idea what Ava was doing. I've been working twelve-hour days, every day, so I didn't know she was gambling." He stared at Ava: "You did everything they said? I can't believe you would do all of that. Now I have to pay back one hundred thousand dollars, and it will be difficult because I'm sure I just lost my job at MI. You have ruined everything!"
At that moment, Ava started to realize what she had done. And she realized she might lose Auggie. She started to cry. But the other four people did not care she was crying. They all just stared at her, waiting for her at look up and say: "How was that?" Riley took Maya's hand and squeezed it hard. She saw how angry Maya was getting. Auggie saw how angry Maya was getting and he looked at Riley with questioning eyes.
Riley smiled at Auggie: "Don't worry, I've got Maya. You need to go to work. We will handle Ava. He stood and went to get dressed and leave for work. As soon as the door closed behind him, Bella stared at Ava: "You better pray that you don't lose Auggie. You need to be punished!"
