After their meal, Illya offered to assist Mark in finalizing his apartment and even, with Mister Waverly's approval, offered to help him move in. After all, Illya wouldn't be going out on any missions while Napoleon was busy.

Casual conversation - something Illya rarely indulged in - led the two men to find they had a number of things in common, including music. Mark's guitar was obviously not merely for show.

Illya was pleased to think that he might have someone besides Napoleon that would watch his back if needed. Mark seemed to enjoy Illya's company as well.
