After doing everything the right way in the first timeline, Frisk was compelled to do the genocide route for what they felt were "good" reasons. In doing so, they have broken utterly and become something new. Something absolutely devoted to Sans, and not remotely sane. Now they are striving to fix everything and find their path forward. What the hell is Sans supposed to do now?

No matter how many times we remake this world, the memories of past friendships still remain. For some of us anyway. These are the tales from the Underground, recalling laughter, tears, and some truly ghastly spaghetti.

Frisk finds themselves in a strange place.

The world is destroyed. Strange creatures no one has seen before have swarmed the planet, killing everything save a small band of Monsters, and soon, even they will be gone. Their only hope, a thousand years in the past. Traveling back to the war of humans and Monsters, Frisk and their friends hope to change the outcome of the war to avert this horrible future.

With a quick use of Sans' magic, we had returned to our home on the surface. The lovely three-story home sat quietly among the trees under the moonlight. Sans always loved to teleport just outside the door and glance at it before walking in. He was a little less lazy since coming to the surface. So much to learn. So much to do. So much to love. For Monsterkind, the Surface represented freedom. For Frisk, it's a return to some uncomfortable realities. It all began with a simple wish. When that wish faded, Frisk tried to move on. Except, 'moving on' was not so simple. Emerging from the Underground had put them in a worldwide spotlight. From an unknown child, they had become an icon of great value.

What if there wasn't AUs but instead they were all personalities in Sans's multiple personality disorder? Well that is the reality Papyrus and the others are currently living in though they've gotten used to it. With the arrival of Frisk some things may change for all of them. After getting through the entirety of Undertale and Undertale Yellow, the latter being able to be beaten on every route, Scarlet Johnson wakes up from a slumber to find himself in the body of Frisk and being joined by Chara. Frisk is a 18 year-old young man who just graduated high school. He arranges a hiking trip with his best friend Jack, which leads to him falling in a mysterious hole. Can Frisk survive the monster realm?

The magic that remained leaked from his eye sockets, stained red with the blood of another. Just another sleepless night, another night he wept for the fallen monster kingdom, for his brother, for all they had lost, including themselves. Warning: contains suicidal thoughts, mild blood.

The war between Humans and Monsters lasted long and was hard fought. Though they were sealed and left behind a lonesome child knew who the true monsters were. They faced their cruelty all too much. And a hardened soul they left to scour the mountain. Had they know how mildly entertained they'd be. They'd have come much. much, sooner.

In search of an old fan fiction posted here years ago

(Storyshift-AU) Storyshift is an interesting take on Undertale, and I figured it could make this more unique than simply having two characters go through the canon Underground. That said, I wasn't content to leave it at that, so I've shaken up a few things more than the Storyshift you might all be familiar with. Additionally, I've added some of my own ideas into the mix.

"Long ago, two races ruled over Earth: Humans and Monsters." One race feared for their strong souls, the other for their magic, and the mages caught between them feared for both. All silently knew that war would be inevitable. The only thing that mattered was surviving it. One crimson mage understands that well, and is determined to keep herself and those she cares for alive.

"ElementalTale" sees Frisk mastering elemental powers with guidance from guardians, fostering unity, collaboration, and understanding amidst diversity.

Inspired by the Arkham Series and OrangeMKNinja's "Spider-Man PS4 Game Overs", we see various last words from enemies towards Frisk as they die in battle over and over again. (Contains Mild Language)
