Chapter 72: 3 New Rivals
Hello everyone, I hope you all had a good holiday this chapter will focus on Ash training his Pokémon for his upcoming gym challenge. This is a long chapter and I hope you all enjoy it!
1 day after Ash's gym challenge with Cissy the group have come to Kinkan island and are at a battlefield behind the Pokémon Center so Ash can train his Pokémon for his next gym challenge. The Pokémon Ash has with him today are Pikachu, Luxio, Gabite, Crocalor, Thwackey, and Lapras (who's in her Pokeball). As Ash is training his Pokémon off to the side we see Misty, Leaf, and Tracey who're in the process of making lunch. Back on the battlefield we see Gabite flying towards Crocalor and Thwackey while using Dragon Rush Ash calls for a command.
"Crocalor, Thwackey dodge!" Ash calls the 2-mons quickly dodge and let Gabite hit the battlefield instead. Gabite stands back up shakes its head then sees Thwackey running towards it as Ash speaks.
"Thwackey use Drain Punch and Gabite counter with Dragon Claw!" Ash calls Thwackeys right fist glows while Gabites right claw glows and collides with Thwackey. The 2-mons begin pushing each other back and forth as they keep doing that Crocalor starts heating up its mouth as Ash speaks.
"Crocalor use Flamethrower and Gabite, Thwackey dodge!" Ash calls Crocalor fires the stream of fire it goes to hit Gabite and Thwackey but the 2-mons quickly jump out of the way avoiding the attack. The Flamethrower's now heading for Pikachu, the yellow mouse looks at it as Ash speaks.
"Pikachu Thunderbolt!" Ash calls Pikachu quickly fires the bolt of electricity and collides with the Flamethrower creating an explosion. Out of the explosion appears Luxio it's running towards Pikachu while sparking its body Ash quickly calls for a command.
"Luxio use Wild Charge and Pikachu counter with your Wild Charge!" Ash calls Luxio covers its body in electricity and continues heading for Pikachu. Pikachu quickly covers its body in electricity too runs towards Luxio and collides with it. The 2-mons begin pushing each other back and forth trying to see who's stronger as they're doing that, they feel something underneath their feet as Ash speaks.
"Gabite use Dig and Pikachu, Luxio dodge!" Ash calls Pikachu and Luxio quickly back away as Gabite bursts from the ground and flies in the air. Gabite's about to turn around and go after Pikachu and Luxio but it then sees Thwackey above it and is holding a green hammer Ash then speaks.
"Thwackey use Wood Hammer and Gabite block!" Ash calls Thwackey brings down its hammer going to hit Gabite but the cave Pokémon quickly brings up its arms and blocks the attack. Gabite and Thwackey come crashing back down on the battlefield and slide away from each other. Thwackey manages to stop itself and starts running towards Gabite going to hit it again but then Crocalor appears on its right side and has its teeth ready as Ash speaks.
"Crocalor use Fire Fang and Thwackey counter with Drain Punch!" Ash calls Crocalor covers its teeth with fire and goes to bite down on Thwackey. Thwackey quickly clinches its left fist and connects with Crocalor creating an explosion. The 2-mons slide away from each other Crocalor then sees Gabite flying towards it as Ash speaks.
"Gabite use Dragon Rush and Crocalor use Hyper Voice!" Ash calls Gabite covers its body in dragon energy and goes to hit Crocalor. Crocalor takes a deep breath and lets out a loud yell which hurts Gabites ears and makes it stop in place. As Gabite's covering its ears it lifts its right foot as Ash speaks.
"Gabite use Earth Power and Crocalor dodge!" Ash calls Gabite stomps on the ground creating a large crack that heads for Crocalor but the croc manages to safely jump out of the way. When Crocalor's gone Pikachu appears behind Gabite and has its tail ready as Ash speaks.
"Pikachu use Iron Tail and Gabite counter with Rock Smash!" Ash calls Pikachu covers its tail in steel energy while Gabite quickly covers its right claw in red energy and collides with Pikachu. The 2-mons try to knock their opponent away just when Gabite's about to hit Pikachu with its left claw, both it and Pikachu notice Thwackey heading towards them as Ash speaks.
"Thwackey use Drain Punch and Pikachu, Gabite dodge!" Ash calls Thwackey goes to hit the 2-mons but Pikachu and Gabite quickly move away dodging the attack and making Thwackey slam its fists on the ground. Luxio then appears on Thwackeys left side and is covering its teeth in ice as Ash speaks.
"Luxio use Ice Fang and Thwackey dodge!" Ash calls Luxio completely covers its teeth in ice and goes to bite Thwackey but the green monkey quickly jumps out of the way dodging the attack. Luxio then sees Crocalor heating up its mouth as Ash speaks.
"Crocalor use Overheat and Luxio counter with Thunder!" Ash calls Crocalor fires a big wave of heat while Luxio fires a large electric bolt. The two moves collide creating an explosion along with a gust of wind and a dust cloud. When the dust clears Luxio along with Crocalor notice Pikachu, Thwackey and Gabite the 5-mons stare at each other as Ash speaks.
"Great job guys let's keep going!" Ash says with the 5-mons nodding as they charge forward continuing their battle while Ash continues to call out commands. Off to the side we see Misty, Leaf, and Tracey still in the process of making lunch. They look over at Ash training his Pokémon as Tracey speaks.
"Ash and his Pokémon are looking great that gym challenge with Cissy really motivated him" Tracey says as Leaf speaks.
"Yep, and his next challenge will probably be tougher" Leaf says as Misty speaks.
"But knowing Ash the harder the challenge the more fun it is" Misty says with Tracey and Leaf nodding. They continue to watch Ash train his Pokémon as they see 2 Thunderbolts, Flamethrower, Dragon Pulse, and Razor Leaf clash creating an explosion. When the smoke clears the 5-mons are looking at each other as Ash smiles and speaks.
"Great job guys now Pikachu use-" Before Ash can finish everyone hears a voice.
"OUT OF THE WAY!" The voice says catching everyone's attention as they see a boy crash into Ash causing them both to fall. Ash's friends and Pokémon quickly run over when they make it, they look at Ash as Misty speaks.
"Are you okay Ash?" Misty asks Ash who's groaning in pain he looks at his friends and Pokémon then speaks.
"Yeah, I'm fine but who ran into me?" Ash asks as he fully stands back up everyone looks to see who hit him. They see a young boy around Ash, Misty's, and Leaf's age with blonde hair. The boy stands up, he groans a little in pain, looks at Ash and speaks.
"What's wrong with you not moving out of the way I'm going to have to fine you!" The boy says in anger as Ash speaks.
"What?! You're the one who ran into me if anything I should be fining you!" Ash says in annoyance making the blonde boy more annoyed as he speaks.
"No, I'm fining you!" The boy says as Ash speaks.
"No way I'm fining you!" Ash says the 2 boys then get into an argument as Tracey speaks.
"Um should we stop them?" Tracey asks as Leaf speaks.
"Nah it should be fine" Leaf responds with Misty agreeing with her as Tracey nods. They continue to watch the 2 boys argue as they then stop and begin to pant as the blonde hair boy speaks.
"Huff, huff you done already?" The boy asks as Ash speaks.
"Heh no way" Ash responds the 2 boys continue to pant as the blonde hair boy then takes a closer look at Ash and speaks.
"Gasp wait a minute aren't you Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town?!" The boy says while having a shocked expression on his face as Ash speaks.
"Um yeah that's me" Ash responds as the blonde-haired boy smiles and speaks.
"I knew it! Hey, let's have a battle if you win, I'll consider it my fault for bumping into you but If I win you have to apologize" The boy says as Ash speaks.
"A battle? Heh sure I'll battle you and win also what's your name?" Ash asks as the blonde-haired boy speaks.
"My name's Barry I'm from Twinleaf Town in the Sinnoh region and I made it to the top 8 in the Sinnoh League" Barry says as Ash speaks.
"The Sinnoh League huh? I heard that Diamond won and battled the champion Cynthia" Ash says as Barry speaks.
"Yeah, yeah enough talk come on let's battle!" Barry says while holding a Pokeball Ash then speaks.
"Alright bring it!" Ash says with his Pokémon standing next to him. As Ash and Barry are about to battle, they hear another voice.
"Hey look out!" The voice says causing everyone to turn as they see 2 razor sharp leaves heading for Ash and Barry. The 2 boys have surprised looks on their faces as they quickly duck dodging the 2 leaves. After that the 2 boys stand back up as Ash speaks.
"A Razor Leaf where'd that come from?" Ash questions as Barry speaks.
"I don't know but I'm fining them for almost hitting me!" Barry says in annoyance as everyone hears a voice.
"Are you guys, okay?!" The voice says the group look as they see a boy with tan skin, short green hair, and wearing a T shirt along with shorts make it to Ash and Barry. Next to the boy looks like a bigger version of Rowlet the boy then looks at Ash and Barry then speaks.
"Hey, I'm sorry about that my Dartrix's Razor Leaf didn't hit you right?" The boy asks as Ash speaks.
"Nope it didn't hit us" Ash says as Barry looks at the boy and speaks.
"Well, it almost hit me so I'm going to have to fine you!" Barry says in anger surprising the boy as he speaks.
"I'm terribly sorry please don't fine me!" The boy says apologetically as Ash walks over to Barry and speaks.
"Hey, he said he's sorry you don't have to fine him" Ash says as Barry looks at him and speaks.
"Well too bad I've already made up my mind" Barry responds as the green-haired boy reaches into his backpack and speaks.
"For almost hitting you with Razor Leaf here's a Malasada please take it as my apology" The boy says while holding out 2 pastry's Ash and Barry look at them and have interested looks on their faces. The 2 boys take their respective pastry and eat it. As they're eating, they both smile and speak.
"Delicious!" The 2 boys say as they continue to happily eat the pastry the green haired boy speaks.
"So, does this mean that you forgive me?" The boy asks as Barry speaks.
"Yes, you've saved yourself from getting a fine" Barry responds as he continues to eat the pastry making the green haired boy happy as he speaks.
"Thank you! Oh, my name's Hau by the way and this is my Pokémon Dartrix we're from Melemele Island in the Alola region" The boy says as the bird next to him says hello. Ash along with Barry and Leaf take out their Pokedex's to scan the mon.
"Dartrix, the Blade Quill Pokémon a Grass/Flying type and the evolved form of Rowlet. It throws its darts, which are very sharp feathers, at enemies. Quite image-conscious, it's always preening." The Pokedex says. Ash's Pokémon walk over to the bird and greet it with the bird greeting them as Ash speaks.
"Wow so this is a Dartrix it looks cool" Ash says as Barry speaks.
"I'll admit that it looks cool too" Barry says as Hau then takes a closer look at Ash and speaks.
"Wait you're Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town, right?" Hau asks with Ash nodding as he speaks.
"Yep, that's me and these are my Pokémon" Ash says as his Pokémon say hello with Hau greeting them. Hau then looks at Ash and speaks.
"I watched your Kanto League battles with my grandpa back at home. We were cheering you on the whole time and my favorite battle had to be when you fought against Ritchie." Hau says making Ash smile as he speaks.
"Thanks, and yeah that was a tough battle" Ash says as Barry looks at Hau and speaks.
"Heh if you think that's impressive then you should know that I made it to the Top 8 in the Sinnoh League" Barry says while smirking as Hau looks at him and speaks.
"Oh, now that I take a closer look at you, I watched your Sinnoh League battles, and didn't you lose pretty easily to Diamond?" Hau says making Barry annoyed as he speaks.
"I didn't lose "easily"! Diamond just got lucky is all" Barry says as Hau then looks at Ash and speaks.
"Anyway, Ash now that you're here I really want to battle you to test myself" Hau says as Ash speaks.
"Sure, let's do it" Ash says as Barry speaks.
"Hold on! I already asked Ash to battle me first, so you'll have to wait" Barry says surprising Hau as he speaks.
"What?!" Hau says in surprise as Barry looks at Ash and speaks.
"Come on Ash let's battle and I'll show you just how much stronger I am than you" Barry says as Ash speaks.
"Fine!" Ash says just when Ash and Barry are about to battle everyone then hear another voice.
"Wait!" The voice says as everyone sees a boy with a Riolu next to him run over to Ash, Barry, and Hau. When they make it, Barry speaks.
"Great what now?!" Barry says as the boy speaks.
"If anyone's going to battle Ash it'll be us right Riolu!" The boy says with his Riolu agreeing with him as Barry speaks.
"No way I'm battling him first!" Barry says as Hau speaks.
"Yeah, get in line!" Hau says with Dartrix agreeing as the boy speaks.
"No way you guys get in line!" The boy responds with his Riolu agreeing. After that the 3 boys begin to argue on who can battle Ash first. Ash looks at them arguing as Misty, Leaf, and Tracey walk over to him, when they make it, Misty speaks.
"Wow Ash I didn't know that you'd be this popular" Misty says as Ash speaks.
"Me neither" Ash responds. The group continued to watch the 3 boys argue until their stomachs begin to growl. The 3 of them blush in embarrassment as Ash speaks.
"How about we talk about this after lunch" Ash says as Leaf speaks.
"Yeah, you guys can join us" Leaf says as Hau speaks.
"Are you sure?" Hau asks as Tracey speaks.
"Yeah, we've made enough for everyone" Tracey responds making the 3 boys happy as they speak.
"Thank you!" The 3 boys along with Dartrix and Riolu say. After that they all sit at a nearby table and begin to eat with the Pokémon eating their food bowls a few feet away. The 3 boys are happily eating the food as Hau speaks.
"Man, this food's amazing!" Hau says as the Riolu trainer speaks.
"I agree I've never had anything like this" The boy says with Barry agreeing as Leaf speaks.
"Thanks, it's a recipe that our old travel companion Brock made. It may not be as good as his, but I tried to mimic it as best I could" Leaf says as the 3 boys look at her and speak.
"It still tastes amazing thank you!" The 3 boys say making Leaf happy. Meanwhile Ash then looks at the Riolu trainer and speaks.
"By the way what's your name?" Ash asks as the boy looks at Ash and speaks.
"Oh, that's right I forgot to introduce myself my name's Cameron I'm from the Unova region and you've already met my Riolu" Cameron says with the group nodding they all introduce themselves too as Tracey speaks.
"The Unova region? I heard that the Unova league was attacked by a group called Team Plasma" Tracey says with Cameron nodding as he speaks.
"Yeah, when the finals of the league were about to start that group started their attack out of nowhere. But after a hard-fought battle the good guys came out on top" Cameron responds with the group nodding as Ash speaks.
"Did you compete in the Unova league Cameron?" Ash asks as Cameron speaks.
"Yeah, I made it all the way to the top 8 but lost to Hilbert, so now I'm competing in the Orange Islands and I'm going to win the whole thing!" Cameron says while having a determined look on his face as Barry speaks.
"Heh please if anyone's winning it'll be me" Barry says as Hau speaks.
"No way it'll be me" Hau says the 3 boys look at each other as Ash speaks.
"No, it'll be me!" Ash says the 3 boys then look at Ash with Ash looking at him they all have serious looks on their faces as Ash speaks.
"So, how many badges do you guys have? I just got the Mikan Island badge yesterday" Ash asks as Hau speaks.
"Currently I've one I just got done beating the Mikan Island gym and got the badge" Hau says as Barry speaks.
"I've both the Mikan Island and Navel Island gym badges" Barry says while giving Ash a smug look making the boy annoyed as Cameron speaks.
"I currently have 0 and I've come to this island to challenge the gym leader" Cameron says making everyone confused as Leaf speaks.
"Um sorry to tell you this Cameron but there's no gym leader on this Island" Leaf says surprising the boy as he speaks.
"What?! But I could've sworn that the Mikan Island gym was here" Cameron says as Tracey speaks.
"I'm not sure where you heard that from, but this is Kinkan island and like Leaf said there's no gym leader here" Tracey says surprising Cameron even more as he speaks.
"No way!" Cameron exclaims and begins to sulk with his Riolu comforting him as Misty speaks.
"He's not very bright huh" Misty asks with the others nodding. Cameron then quickly recovers from his sulk looks at Ash and speaks.
"Well, if I'm not going to battle the gym leader then Ash, I'll battle you instead!" Cameron says while smiling as Barry speaks.
"Hold on I challenged Ash first so I'm battling him!" Barry says as Cameron speaks.
"No way It'll be me who battles him!" Cameron responds as Hau speaks.
"No, it'll be me!" Hau says the 3 boys look at each other and start getting into an argument as Misty looks at Ash and speaks.
"What do you want to do Ash?" Misty asks as Ash lets out a sigh, he looks at the 3 boys and speaks.
"Hey how about this I'll battle all of you" Ash says making the 3 boys look at him as Ash continues to speak.
"But seeing as Barry challenged me first, I'll battle him, then Hau and then finally Cameron. Are you guys okay with that?" Ash asks, making the 3 boys excited as they speak.
"Yeah!" The 3 boys say making Ash smile. After that the group finish eating their food and Ash (with his Pokémon next to him) along with Barry go to their sides of the battlefield and Tracey's taken the referee position. Both boys look at each other having confident smiles on their faces while Misty, Leaf, Hau, Dartrix, Cameron and Riolu are off to the side sitting on a nearby bench. They're waiting for the battle to begin as Misty speaks.
"I wonder how strong this Barry kid is" Misty says with the others nodding. Back on the battlefield Ash looks at Barry and speaks.
"So, Barry what're the rules for this battle?" Ash asks as Barry speaks.
"This'll be a 4v4 battle and we're both allowed to make substitutions" Barry responds with Ash nodding as Tracey speaks.
"This is a 4v4 battle between Barry and Ash. Both trainers are allowed to substitute their Pokémon and whoever defeats all of their opponents Pokémon first will be declared the winner! Now will both trainers please bring out your first Pokémon!" Tracey says as Barry pulls out a Pokeball and speaks.
"Get ready Ash cause here I come Go! Rapidash!" Barry says he throws the ball forward as a Kanto Rapidash appears. The fire horse has a serious look on its face as Ash speaks.
"So, his first one's a Rapidash okay Luxio I choose you!" Ash says as Luxio instantly jumps on the battlefield. Luxio and Rapidash look at each other then get into battle stances as Leaf speaks.
"So, It's Luxio vs Rapidash first this should be interesting" Leaf says with Misty nodding meanwhile Hau along with Cameron have their eyes glued to the battlefield as Tracey speaks.
"Now that both trainers have sent out their first Pokémon let the battle begin!" Tracey says as Barry speaks.
"We'll attack first Rapidash use Flamethrower!" Barry calls Rapidash, heats up its mouth and fires the stream of fire at Luxio as Ash speaks.
"Counter with Thunderbolt!" Ash calls Luxio quickly fires the electric bolt which collides with the Flamethrower creating an explosion as Barry speaks.
"Quick Rapidash use Drill Run!" Barry calls Rapidash, becomes a drill and instantly shoots forward. Rapidash appears from the smoke as it's just inches away from hitting Luxio Ash speaks.
"Dodge Luxio!" Ash calls Luxio quickly jumps to the left narrowly avoiding Rapidash's attack as the fire horse stops. Luxio begins to run forward while sparking its body as Ash speaks.
"Now use Wild Charge!" Ash calls Luxio roars. She quickly covers her body in electricity and hits Rapidash on the right side making the fire horse slide back a few feet away. Rapidash groans in pain then looks at Luxio who's taken some recoil damage but is overall fine. A couple seconds later Luxio bursts into flames surprising Ash while Barry smiles and speaks.
"You should've kept attacking from a distance Ash cause thanks to my Rapidash's ability Flame Body your Luxio is now burned" Barry says making Ash grit his teeth as Barry calls for his next command.
"Now Rapidash use Drill Run!" "Luxio dodge!" Both trainers call Rapidash becomes a drill and shoots forward. When Luxio goes to dodge she becomes consumed in flames again causing her to stop and allowing Rapidash to hit her. Luxio groans in pain as she's sent flying and crashes back on the battlefield a few feet away creating a dust cloud as Ash speaks.
"Luxio!" Ash calls in worry. When the dust clears everyone can see Luxio laying on its stomach but then stands back up. Luxio's panting heavily then looks at Rapidash as Ash begins to think.
"Man, the battle has barely started and Luxio already looks like she'll go down soon Barry really is a strong trainer" Ash says to himself as Barry speaks.
"Now Rapidash let's end this use one more Drill Run!" Barry calls Rapidash becomes a drill and shoots forward heading for Luxio. As Rapidash's getting closer to Luxio Ash smirks and speaks.
"Sorry Barry but Luxio's winning. Now Luxio use Flash!" Ash calls surprising Barry as Luxio fires a white light that blinds Rapidash's eyes causing the fire horse to stop as Barry speaks.
"Rapidash use Flamethrower in front of you!" "I don't think so Luxio use Iron Tail!" Both trainers call just when Rapidash goes to fire the stream of fire Luxio jumps forward covers its tail in steel energy and slaps Rapidash across the face. Rapidash groans in pain, it can feel its defense decrease but it manages to open its eyes and looks at Luxio as Barry speaks.
"Fire Blast!" "Luxio Thunder!" Both trainers call the 2-mons fire their moves which collide creating an explosion that causes both Pokémon to slide back a few feet away. Rapidash and Luxio manage to stop themselves and begin running towards each other as their trainers speak.
"Luxio Wild Charge!" "Rapidash end it with Drill Run!" Both trainers call Luxio suffers from burn damage but covers itself in electricity and continues running towards Rapidash. Rapidash becomes a drill and continues heading for Luxio. Just when both Pokémon are about to collide Ash calls for a command.
"Luxio use Iron Tail on the ground to jump in the air then use Thunder Fang!" Ash calls as when Luxio and Rapidash are just inches away from each other, Luxio covers its tail in steel energy slaps it on the ground and jumps in the air getting above Rapidash. Luxio then covers its teeth in electricity and falls towards the fire horse. Barry's unable to make a command in time as Luxio bites down on Rapidashs back causing both mons to fall on the ground and create a dust cloud.
"Rapidash!" "Luxio!" Both Barry and Ash call in concern a few seconds later the dust clears everyone can see Luxio panting heavily while standing over an unconscious Rapidash Tracey then speaks.
"Rapidash's unable to battle Luxio's the winner!" Tracey calls Ash gets a smile on his face and speaks.
"Alright! Great job Luxio!" Ash along with his Pokémon cheer as Luxio looks at them and smiles. Off to the side Misty and Leaf cheer as Cameron speaks.
"Wow even though Luxio was cornered by Rapidash Ash was still able to have it beat Rapidash" Cameron says as Hau speaks.
"Ash calling for Flash and having Luxio use Iron Tail to dodge Rapidash's attacks caught Barry off guard" Hau says with Cameron nodding. Back on the battlefield Barry's a little annoyed that his Rapidash went down before Luxio but calms himself and returns the fire horse telling it good job. Barry then pulls out another Pokeball looks at Ash and speaks.
"You may've defeated my Rapidash, but you won't beat this one. Come out Munchlax!" Barry says he throws the ball forward as a Pokémon that looks like a smaller version of Snorlax appears. The mon looks around and yawns as Ash speaks.
"Who's that Pokémon?" Ash questions as he along with Leaf pull out their Pokedex's to scan it.
"Munchlax, the Big Eater Pokémon a pure Normal type and the pre evolved form of Snorlax. It gobbles up its own body weight in food each day, and it swallows its food without almost any chewing." The Pokedex says as Ash speaks.
"So, that's Snorlax's pre evolved form" Ash says to himself he then looks at Luxio and speaks.
"Can you still continue Luxio?" Ash asks with the electric cat nodding as it looks at Munchlax with Munchlax looking at it. Tracey calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Let's go Luxio use Thunder times 2!" Ash calls Luxio roars as it summons 2 large Thunders from the sky that head for Munchlax Barry speaks.
"Munchlax use Dig!" Barry calls Munchlax quickly digs underground avoiding the Thunders as they hit the battlefield. A couple seconds later Munchlax bursts from underneath Luxio sending it high into the air with Munchlax going after it as Barry speaks.
"Now use Focus Punch!" "Luxio use Flash!" Both trainers call Munchlax's left fist glows blue and begins to build up power. When Luxio's about to use Flash, it's suddenly consumed in flames causing it to stop as Munchlax is now in front of it with its fist all charged up Barry speaks.
"Hit it Munchlax!" Barry calls before Ash can tell Luxio to dodge Munchlax punches Luxio hard in the face with its left fist and sends the electric cat crashing back on the battlefield creating a dust cloud as Ash speaks.
"Luxio!" Ash calls in concern. When the dust clears everyone can see Luxio lying on the ground unconscious Tracey then speaks.
"Luxio's unable to battle Munchlax's the winner!" Tracey calls making Barry smile.
"Alright that's 1 down let's defeat the rest Munchlax!" Barry says with Munchlax nodding off to the side Misty speaks.
"Darn Luxio lost" Misty says as Leaf speaks.
"Unfortunately, Luxio was already losing steam after her battle with Rapidash" Leaf says with Misty nodding, meanwhile Hau and Cameron continue to watch in silence. Back on the battlefield Ash's sad that Luxio lost but returns the electric cat to its Pokeball and tells her thank you. Ash then looks at Thwackey and speaks.
"You ready Thwackey?" Ash asks with the monkey nodding as it immediately jumps on the battlefield and gets into a battle stance with Munchlax doing the same. Off to the side Misty speaks.
"So, Thwackey's next" Misty says as Leaf speaks.
"It should be able to match Munchlax when it comes to physical power" Leaf says with Misty nodding. Back on the battlefield Barry speaks.
"So, your Thwackey's your next Pokémon sorry to tell you this but it stands no chance against my Munchlax" Barry says while having a confident look on his face as Ash speaks.
"We'll see about that!" Ash responds Tracey then calls for the battle to continue as Barry speaks.
"Munchlax use Ice Punch!" Barry calls Munchlax covers its right fist in ice and shoots forward reaching Thwackey instantly. When Munchlax goes to punch Thwackey Ash speaks.
"Block Thwackey!" Ash calls Thwackey quickly brings up its arms and successfully blocks the attack. Thwackey's sent sliding back a few feet away, when Thwackey stops it looks at Munchlax with Munchlax looking at it as Barry speaks.
"Heh not bad but let's see how you deal with this. Munchlax use Ice Beam!" Barry calls Munchlax fires the icy beam as Ash speaks.
"Thwackey jump in the air to dodge!" Ash calls Thwackey quickly jumps in the air avoiding the ice beam. Suddenly Munchlax appears in front of Thwackey and begins to clinch its right fist as Barry speaks.
"Now use Ice Punch!" "Dodge Thwackey and use Hammer Arm!" Both trainers call Munchlax covers its fist in ice and goes to punch Thwackey but the green monkey dodges by moving to the right. Thwackey raises both of its arms above its head covers them in white energy and slams them hard on Munchlaxs head sending it crashing back down on the battlefield as Barry speaks.
"Munchlax!" Barry calls in concern as a few seconds later Munchlax appears and is groaning a little in pain as Barry speaks.
"Munchlax above you!" Barry calls Munchlax looks in the air and sees Thwackey falling towards it while holding both of its sticks as Ash speaks.
"Thwackey Wood Hammer!" "Munchlax dodge then use Ice Punch!" Both trainers call Thwackeys sticks turn into big grassy hammers and goes to hit Munchlax. Munchlax quickly backs away in time dodging the Wood Hammer and makes Thwackey slam its hammers on the ground. Munchlax then covers its right fist in ice shoots forward and punches Thwackey hard in the face causing super effective damage. Thwackey groans a little in pain but then clinches its right fist as Ash speaks.
"Thwackey use Drain Punch!" Ash calls Thwackey punches Munchlax hard in the stomach making the mon cough in pain and can feel its energy going to Thwackey which heals the grass monkey as Barry speaks.
"Munchlax Ice Punch!" Barry calls Munchlax covers its left fist in ice and uppercuts Thwackey causing super effective damage as Ash speaks.
"Drain Punch Thwackey!" Ash calls Thwackey clinches its left fist and punches Munchlax hard in the face causing super effective damage and taking Munchlax's energy. Munchlax groans in pain but then clinches its fists with Thwackey doing the same as their trainers speak.
"Munchlax keep using Ice Punch!" "Thwackey keep using Drain Punch!" Both trainers call their Pokemon roar as they begin to repeatedly punch each other. Every time Munchlax's and Thwackey's fists land it does more damage than before, but the 2-mons keep going. Thwackey and Munchlax keep punching each other until they hit each other in the face then slide a few feet away. Both mons are panting/groaning in pain but Munchlax then shoots forward as Barry speaks.
"This is the end Munchlax finish Thwackey off with one more Ice Punch!" Barry calls Munchlax quickly covers its right fist in ice and goes to punch Thwackey. When Munchlax's fist is about to make contact Ash speaks.
"Thwackey use Screech!" Ash calls surprising Barry as Thwackey lets out a loud screech that hurts Munchlax's ears causing it to stop in front of Thwackey and it can feel its defense lower. Thwackey then readies its right fist as Ash speaks.
"Now Thwackey Drain Punch!" "Munchlax Ice Beam!" Both trainers call Munchlax looks at Thwackey as it's about to fire the icy beam Thwackey punches Munchlax hard in the face causing super effective damage and taking its energy. Munchlax is then sent flying until it crashes next to Barry creating a dust cloud. A few seconds later the dust clears Barry looks at Munchlax and sees that it's knocked out as Tracey speaks.
"Munchlax's unable to battle Thwackey's the winner!" Tracey calls Ash smiles and speaks.
"Yeah! Great job Thwackey!" Ash cheers along with Pikachu, Crocalor, and Gabite. Thwackey looks at them, smiles and flexes its muscles. Off to the side Misty and Leaf cheer for Ash as Hau speaks.
"I wasn't expecting for his Thwackey to use Screech" Hau says as Cameron speaks.
"And neither was Barry" Cameron says. Back on the battlefield Barry returns Munchlax and tells it good job. He then pulls out his next Pokeball and speaks.
"You surprised me with that Screech attack Ash, but I won't fall for anymore tricks Come on out Hitmonlee!" Barry says he throws the ball forward his Hitmonlee appears. The mon immediately gets into a battle stance with Thwackey doing the same as Ash speaks.
"So, a Hitmonlee's next Thwackey I'm keeping you in!" Ash says with the grass monkey nodding. Tracey calls for the battle to continue as Barry speaks.
"Run forward Hitmonlee!" Barry calls Hitmonlee starts running towards Thwackey as Ash speaks.
"Thwackey use Razor Leaf!" Ash calls Thwackey fires multiple sharp leaves as Barry speaks.
"Burn them away with Blaze Kick!" Barry calls Hitmonlee covers its feet in fire and begins to easily burn the leaves away. Hitmonlee then goes to kick Thwackey as Ash speaks.
"Thwackey counter with Wood Hammer!" Ash calls both of Thwackeys sticks become big grassy hammers. The grass monkey shoots forward and collides with Hitmonlee. Hitmonlee tries to push Thwackey away, but the monkey hangs on, Hitmonlee goes to kick Thwackey with its left leg, but Thwackey blocks with its right hammer. Thwackey's then pushed a couple feet away as HItmonlee shoots forward going to kick Thwackey but the monkey blocks it. After that Hitmonlee and Thwackey continued their clash trying to hit their opponent. As they keep clashing Barry speaks.
"Hitmonlee knock away Thwackey's hammers with Rolling Kick!" Barry calls Hitmonlee quickly spins around and manages to kick away Thwackey's hammers which surprises the grass monkey. Hitmonlee then goes to kick Thwackey as Ash speaks.
"Thwackey use Screech!" "Hitmonlee dodge and use Close Combat!" Both trainers call Thwackey lets out a loud screech, but Hitmonlee quickly moves to the right avoiding the attack. Hitmonlee then shoots forward and begins to kick Thwackey repeatedly causing damage to the monkey. Hitmonlee then kicks Thwackey hard in the face sending it sliding back a few feet, Thwackey manages to stop itself and sees Hitmonlee running towards it as Ash speaks.
"Thwackey use Grass Knot!" Ash calls Thwackey quickly summons a grassy knot when Hitmonlee goes to step on it Barry speaks.
"Hitmonlee use Bounce!" Barry calls surprising Ash as Hitmonlee quickly jumps high in the air avoiding the attack. Hitmonlee quickly charges the move and shoots downward towards Thwackey while pointing its left foot forward. Seeing no way for Thwackey to dodge in time, Ash calls for a command.
"Thwackey counter with Mega Punch!" Ash calls Thwackey roars its right-hand glows and waits for Hitmonlee. When Hitmonlee goes to hit Thwackey the grass monkey roars as its fist and Hitmonlees foot connect creating a big explosion and a gust of wind as Ash speaks.
"Thwackey!" Ash calls in worry. A few seconds later the smoke along with the wind goes away and everyone can see Hitmonlee (while having its arms crossed) standing over a defeated Thwackey. Tracey makes the call.
"Thwackey's unable to battle Hitmonlee's the winner!" Tracey says as Barry smiles and speaks.
"Alright great job Hitmonlee!" Barry cheers with the kicking mon nodding. Off to the side Misty along with Leaf are surprised that Thwackey lost while Hau and Cameron keep staring. Back on the battlefield Ash's sad that Thwackey lost but smiles, he returns the mon back to its Pokeball looks at it and speaks.
"Thank you Thwackey take a good rest" Ash says he then puts the ball back on his belt as Barry speaks.
"Just 2 more and I'll win" Barry says while having a confident look on his face as Ash speaks.
"Hey, don't get too confident" Ash says as he then looks at Gabite and speaks.
"Gabite I choose you!" Ash says as Gabite immediately jumps on the battlefield and gets in a battle stance. Barry smiles and speaks.
"So, a Gabite's next I'm keeping you in Hitmonlee!" Barry says with the kicking mon nodding as it gets in a battle stance too. Tracey calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"We'll attack first Gabite use Dragon Pulse!" Ash calls Gabite quickly fires the big dragon beam at Hitmonlee as Barry speaks.
"Hitmonlee dodge!" Barry calls Hitmonlee quickly dodges to the right easily avoiding the Dragon Pulse. But Ash saw that coming he smirks then speaks.
"Gabite use Sand Tomb!" Ash calls surprising Barry as Gabite roars and summons a tomb of sand under Hitmonlee making the kicking mon fall in as Barry speaks.
"Hitmonlee jump out of there!" Barry calls Hitmonlee tries but is unable to as there's no solid ground for it to use to jump. As Hitmonlee continues to struggle Ash speaks.
"Now Gabite use Dig and send Hitmonlee in the air!" Ash calls Gabite quickly digs underground and reaches Hitmonlee instantly. Gabite sends Hitmonlee high into the air with the land shark flying after it as Barry speaks.
"Hah! Big mistake Ash Hitmonlee use Bounce!" Barry calls Hitmonlee quickly readjusts itself its legs glow in blue energy then starts falling towards Gabite going to kick it as Ash speaks.
"I knew you'd try that Gabite dodge then use Dragon Rush!" Ash calls Gabite narrowly manages to dodge Hitmonlees kick, the land shark then covers its body in dragon energy and starts to go after Hitmonlee as Barry speaks.
"Hitmonlee turn around and hit Gabite!" Barry calls Hitmonlee quickly turns around as Gabite's getting closer Hitmonlee goes to kick it but Gabite manages to dodge and rams its head into Hitmonlees chest making the kicking mon cough in pain as Ash speaks.
"Great job Gabite now use Dragon Pulse!" Dodge Hitmonlee!" Both trainers call Hitmonlee's unable to dodge as the Dragon Rush made it flinch. Gabite covers its mouth in purple draconic energy and fires a big Dragon Pulse that consumes Hitmonlee and sends it crashing back down on the battlefield creating an explosion as Barry speaks.
"Hitmonlee!" Barry calls in worry. Gabite then lands back on the ground and looks forward waiting to see the results. A few seconds later the smoke clears everyone can see Hitmonlee laying on its back and is knocked out. Tracey then makes the call.
"Hitmonlee's unable to battle Gabite's the winner!" Tracey calls making Ash smile as he speaks.
"Yeah! Great job Gabite I knew you could do it!" "Pika!" "Croc!" Ash along with Pikachu and Crocalor cheer as Gabite looks at them and smiles. Off to the side Hau speaks.
"Wow his Gabite defeated Barry's Hitmonlee fast" Hau says while having a surprised look on his face with Cameron having the same look. Back on the battlefield Barry returns Hitmonlee back to its Pokeball and tells it good job as Ash speaks.
"It's not looking good for you Barry I've two Pokémon left while you still have one, I'm winning this" Ash says while having a confident look on his face as Barry pulls out his last Pokeball smiles and speaks.
"Heh sorry to break it to you Ash but now that I'm down to my last Pokémon your last 2 won't stand a chance against it. Empoleon Come Out!" Barry says he throws the ball forward as his Empoleon appears. The mon has a serious look on its face as it stares at Gabite with Gabite staring back, Ash then speaks.
"So, his last Pokémon's an Empoleon I can feel that it's stronger than Ritchie's" Ash says to himself as he looks at Gabite and speaks.
"Gabite I'm keeping you in!" Ash says with Gabite nodding as it gets in a battle stance with Empoleon doing the same. Tracey calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Let's attack first Gabite use Earth Power!" Ash calls Gabite roars as it stomps its right foot on the ground creating a large crack that heads for Empoleon as Barry speaks.
"Use Drill Peck!" Barry calls Empoleons beak becomes longer and starts to spin its entire body as it shoots forward. Empoleon's able to easily get pass through the Earth Power and jabs its beak hard into Gabites stomach making the mon cough in pain as it's sent sliding back Barry then speaks.
"Empoleon use Steel Wing!" Barry calls Empoleon covers its flippers in steel energy then flies towards Gabite going to hit it as Ash speaks.
"Gabite counter with Rock Smash!" Ash calls both of Gabites claws become red as it collides with Empoleon. Gabite tries its best to push Empoleon away, but Empoleon's too strong as it begins to overpower Gabite Ash speaks.
"Use Dig!" Ash calls Gabite quickly digs underground getting away from Empoleon and making the emperor Pokemon stumble forward a little bit but manages to catch itself. Empoleon then feels something below it as Barry speaks.
"Empoleon jump!" Barry calls Empoleon quickly jumps in the air as Gabite bursts from the ground and heads after Empoleon as Ash speaks.
"Use Dragon Rush!" "Counter with Steel Wing!" Both trainers call Gabite covers its body in dragon energy and heads for Empoleon. Empoleon covers its flippers in steel energy falls towards Gabite and collides with it. The 2-mons begin to push each other back and forth trying to see who's stronger. They keep going as Ash speaks.
"Gabite use Dragon Pulse!" "Dodge Empoleon!" Both trainers call Gabite covers its mouth in purple draconic energy as it fires the beam, but Empoleon quickly moves to the right avoiding the attack. Gabite then starts to fly after Empoleon as Ash speaks.
"Now Gabite use Dragon Rush then Rock Smash!" "Block Empoleon!" Both trainers call before Empoleon can block Gabite covers its body in dragon energy and hits Empoleon causing damage to it. Gabites right claw then glows red as it jabs Empoleon hard in the stomach and sends the emperor crashing back down on the battlefield creating a dust cloud. When the dust clears Empoleon stands back up and is groaning in pain as it feels its defense decrease. Empoleon then looks to the sky and sees Gabite flying towards it as Ash speaks.
"Gabite finish Empoleon off with Brick Break!" Ash calls Gabite covers both of its claws in white energy and continues heading for Empoleon. As Gabite's getting closer it goes to hit Empoleon but the emperor isn't worried as Barry smirks and speaks.
"Empoleon use Ice Beam!" Barry calls surprising Ash as he speaks.
"Gabite block it!" Ash calls but Gabite can't block in time as Empoleon fires the icy beam which hits Gabites face causing super effective damage and completely freezes the mon. Ash has a surprised look on his face he then sees Empoleon taking a deep breath as Barry speaks.
"Now use Hydro Pump!" Gabite break out of there!" Both trainers call unfortunately for Ash Gabite's unable to break out of the ice as Empoleon fires the big stream of water that completely consumes the frozen Gabite and sends it crashing into a tree behind Ash. Ash along with Pikachu and Crocalor look at Gabite who's now out of the ice and falls on the ground knocked out as Barry speaks.
"Alright that's another one down, one more and we win Empoleon!" Barry says with the emperor nodding. Ash's sad that Gabite lost but pulls out its Pokeball and speaks.
"Gabite return" Ash says returning the mon back to its Pokeball, he tells Gabite thank you and for it to get a good rest. When Ash puts the ball back on his belt Barry speaks.
"So, Ash who's your last Pokémon?" Barry asks as Ash looks at Pikachu and speaks.
"You ready buddy?" Ash asks with the yellow mouse nodding as Ash speaks.
"Okay Pikachu let's-"Before Ash could finish Crocalor jumps on the battlefield instead surprising everyone as Ash speaks.
"Crocolar you want to battle?" Ash asks with the fire croc nodding as it wants to get revenge for Gabite. Ash nods, he smiles and speaks.
"Okay Crocalor I'm counting on you let's do this!" Ash says as the fire Croc roars Barry speaks.
"You're joking right? You don't really think that your Crocalor can beat my Empoleon now do you?" Barry asks as Ash speaks.
"Yeah, I'm confident!" Ash responds as Barry speaks.
"Well okay but you're just giving us an easily win get ready Empoleon!" Barry says with the mon nodding as it along with Crocalor get into battle stances Tracey speaks.
"This is the final battle whoever knocks out their opponent first will be declared the winner. Now let the battle continue!" Tracey says as Barry speaks.
"Let's end this in one shot, Empoleon use Hydro Pump!" Barry calls Empoleon fires the large stream of water at Crocalor as Ash speaks.
"Dodge Crocalor then use Fire Spin!" Ash calls Crocalor quickly jumps to the right and dodges the Hydro Pump. Crocalor then fires a fiery tornado at Empoleon and traps it inside. Empoleon begins to take some damage from the move as Barry speaks.
"Empoleon break out of there with Hydro Pump!" Barry calls Empoleon fires the large stream of water that easily destroys the Fire Spin and frees the emperor. Empoleon looks forward and doesn't see Crocalor as Barry speaks.
"Where'd it go?" Barry questions as a couple seconds later Ash speaks.
"Now Take Down!" Ash calls up in the air Crocalor heads for Empoleon and slams its head on Empoleon's head causing damage to the emperor. Crocalor then lands on the ground it takes recoil damage and looks at Empoleon who's holding its head in pain. Barry has a surprised look on his face as off to the side Hau speaks.
"Wait what just happened?" Hau asks as Leaf speaks.
"Ash knew that Barry would have Empoleon easily break out of the Fire Spin with Hydro Pump, so he had Crocalor jump in the air and land a Take Down to inflict some damage on Empoleon" Leaf says with Hau nodding. Back on the battlefield Empoleon looks at Crocalor as Barry speaks.
"Empoleon use Hydro Pump!" "Crocalor counter with Hyper Voice!" Both trainers call when Empoleon goes to fire the stream of water Crocalor quickly lets out a loud yell that stops Empoleon in its tracks and causes damage to it. Empoleon begins to cover its ears while Crocalor gets its teeth ready Ash speaks.
"Crocalor use Fire Fang!" "Dodge Empoleon!" Both trainers call Crocalor quickly covers its teeth in fire and jumps forward going to bite Empoleon. Empoleon can't dodge in time as Crocalor bites down on its left flipper fire then covers Empoleons body and begins to burn it. Empoleon cries out in pain as Barry speaks.
"Empoleon knock it on the ground to get it off you!" Barry calls Empoleon slams Crocalor hard on the ground trying to force it to let go but Crocalor hangs on and continues to bite Empoleon as Ash speaks.
"Yeah, great job Crocalor!" "Pika!" Ash and Pikachu cheer with Crocalor nodding as it begins to bite harder making Empoleon groan in pain. Empoleon looks at Crocalor and opens its mouth as Barry speaks.
"Empoleon use Hydro Pump!" "Crocalor quick let go!" Both trainers call Crocalor can't let go in time as Empoleon fires a point-blank Hydro Pump which consumes the fire croc. Crocalor cries out in pain as it's sent crashing a few feet away, a couple seconds later the Hydro Pump disappears, and everyone can see Crocalor laying on its left side while groaning in pain as Ash speaks.
"Crocalor!" Ash calls in worry as Crocalor begins to try and stand back up Barry speaks.
"Looks like your Crocalor can barely continue Empoleon finish it off with Drill Peck!" Barry calls Empoleons beak becomes a drill then begins to spin its whole body and heads for Crocalor going to hit it as Ash speaks.
"Crocalor dodge!" Ash calls but Crocalor declines. Crocalor looks at Empoleon. It doesn't want to run away it'll win this battle and get revenge for Gabite. As Empoleon's getting closer Crocalor stands back up gets a determined look on its face and yells.
"Croc!" Crocalor yells as it begins to glow in white light which blows Empoleon back. Everyone has surprised looks on their faces as Ash speaks.
"Crocalor's evolving!" Ash says with an excited look. Everyone see Crocalor get on all fours, it now resembles more of an alligator, has fire coming out from both sides of its mouth, grows 2 feet taller, its body is mostly red but does have some white, and the fire egg that was on its head becomes a fire bird that's now on top its nose. When the evolution stops what was once a Crocalor is now a Skeledirge. The mon lets out a mighty roar then glares at the surprised Empoleon as Barry speaks.
"No way it evolved" Barry says while having a shocked look on his face as Ash along with Leaf and Cameron take out their Pokedex's to scan the mon.
"Skeledirge the Singer Pokemon it's a Fire/Ghost type and the fully evolved form of Crocalor. It's said that Skeledirge's gentle singing soothes the souls of all that hear it. It burns its enemies to a crisp with flames of over 5,400 degrees Fahrenheit." The Pokedex says as Ash speaks.
"Wow amazing congratulations on evolving Skeledrige and it looks like you learned a new move too!" Ash says with the mon nodding as Barry speaks.
"Just because it evolved doesn't change anything Empoleon use Hydro Pump!" Barry calls Empoleon fires the big stream of water at Skeledrige as Ash speaks.
"Skeledrige destroy it with Hyper Voice!" Ash calls Skeledrige lets out a loud yell that connects with the Hydro Pump and easily destroys it. Barry along with Empoleon are surprised as the Hyper Voice then hits Empoleon making it cover its ears as it cries out in pain as Ash speaks.
"Great job Skeledrige now let's finish this battle with your new move use Torch Song!" Ash calls Skeledrige stands on its hind legs the flaming bird that was on its nose turns into a microphone. Skeledrige then sings as out of the fire microphone comes a flaming bird that heads for Empoleon Barry quickly calls for a command.
"Empoleon dodge!" Barry calls Empoleon's about to dodge but it then bursts into flames suffering from burn damage. A couple seconds later the flaming bird hits Empoleon creating an explosion as Barry yells.
"Empoleon!" Barry yells in worry as Empoleon appears out of the explosion and lands on its back a few feet away. Skeledrige goes back to standing on all fours as it along with everyone else look forward they see Empoleon trying to lift its head but ultimately stays down. Tracey then makes the call.
"Empoleon's unable to battle Skeledrige's the winner! Seeing as Barry has no more Pokemon left this means that Ash is the winner of the battle!" Tracey says making Ash smile as he speaks.
"Alright!" "Pika!" "Drige!" Ash along with Pikachu and Skeledrige cheer in victory. Ash and Pikachu run over to the flaming alligator and hug it as Ash speaks.
"Great job Skeledrige you did it and congrats on evolving!" Ash says making the fire croc happy as it sings a happy song making Ash and Pikachu smile. Off to the side Misty along with Leaf cheer while Hau and Cameron are surprised as Hau speaks.
"Wow it was close, and I wasn't expecting his Crocalor to evolve" Hau says as Cameron speaks.
"Me neither" Cameron says while having a surprised look on his face. Meanwhile, back on the battlefield Barry's surprised that he lost, he's annoyed but sighs as he pulls out Empoleon's Pokeball and speaks.
"Empoleon return" Barry says as the emperor goes back in its Pokeball. Barry looks at the ball telling Empoleon thank you he then walks over to Ash and his Pokémon. When Barry gets close enough Ash looks at him as Barry speaks.
"Just so you know if Crocalor didn't evolve I would've won in the end" Barry says making Ash roll his eyes as Barry continues to speak.
"But it was a good battle, you're a strong trainer and I'm sorry for running into you" Barry says as he smiles and holds out his hand. Ash looks at Barry, smiles, grabs his hand, and speaks.
"Thanks Barry, you're a strong trainer too you gave my Pokémon and I a great challenge." Ash says as Barry nods the 2 boys then shake each other's hands. Off to the side everyone smiles until they notice Hau stand up, he walks over to Ash and speaks.
"Hey Ash, it's my turn" Hau says while having an excited look on his face as Ash smiles and speaks.
"Don't worry I know but first I want to switch out my Pokémon" Ash says with Hau nodding. Ash returns Skeledrige back to its Pokeball then he along with Pikachu go inside the Pokémon Center head over to a video phone and call Prof. Oak. 5 minutes later Ash along with Pikachu return Hau looks at them and speaks.
"So did you get the Pokémon you needed for this battle?" Hau asks as Ash speaks.
"Yep, and I'm ready" Ash responds as he along with Pikachu go to their side of the battlefield and Hau along with Dartrix go on their side. Tracey takes the referee position then speaks.
"This is a 4v4 Pokémon battle between Ash and Hau. Both trainers are allowed to make substitutions and whoever defeats all their opponents Pokémon first will be declared the winner. If both trainers are ready, please bring out your first Pokémon!" Tracey says as Ash pulls out a Pokeball and speaks.
"Meltan I choose you!" Ash says he throws the ball forward as Meltan appears. Hau along with Barry and Cameron have surprised looks on their faces as Hau speaks.
"I've never seen that Pokémon before" Hau says as Ash speaks.
"That's because it's a Pokémon that used to live many years ago it's been recently rediscovered, and its name is Meltan" Ash says with Hau nodding. Off to the side Cameron and Barry pull out their Pokedex's to scan the mon and get its data as Cameron speaks.
"Wow so it's a Pokémon" Cameron says as Barry speaks.
"How'd Ash get a mythical? I should give him a fine" Barry says in an annoyed tone while the others look at him and have a sweat drop come from their heads. Back on the battlefield Hau pulls out a Pokeball and speaks.
"Well from the looks of it I'm guessing Meltan's a steel type so I'm going with this one. Crabrawler Go!" Hau says he throws the ball forward as a Crabrawler appears the mon does a couple air punches then gets into a battle stance as Ash speaks.
"So, his first one's a Crabrawler and it looks strong. Meltan you're at a type disadvantage but I know you can do it!" "Pika!" Ash and Pikachu say as Meltan flexes its muscles and gets into a battle stance. Tracey then speaks.
"Now that both trainers have sent out their Pokémon let the battle begin!" Tracey says as Ash speaks.
"Let's attack first Meltan use Flash Cannon!" Ash calls Meltan fires a big steel beam that heads for Crabrawler as Hau speaks.
"Counter with Power-Up-Punch!" Hau calls Crabrawler covers both of its fists in red energy and collides with the beam with its left fist. The beam pushes Crabrawler back a little bit which surprises the boxing Pokémon and Hau as Hau speaks.
"Hang in their Crabrawler and use your other fist to knock the beam away!" Hau calls Crabrawler nods as it uses its right fist to upper cut the Flash Cannon sending it high into the air as it explodes. Ash along with Meltan are surprised that Crabrawler was able to deflect the Flash Cannon. Crabrawler then gets an attack increase as Hau speaks.
"My Crabrawler trains with my Grandpa's Crabominable so it's able to deflect moves like that" Hau says as Ash speaks.
"I see" Ash says as Hau speaks.
"And now we'll attack Crabrawler use Power-Up-Punch again!" Hau calls Crabrawlers fists glow as it shoots forward and reaches Meltan instantly. When the boxer goes to punch Meltan Ash speaks.
"Meltan use Protect!" Ash calls Meltan quickly summons a protective barrier and blocks the attack as Hau speaks.
"Crabrawler keep punching until you break the barrier!" Hau calls Crabrawler nods as it begins to repeatedly punch the barrier making it harder for Meltan to hold it up as the barrier begins to crack. When Crabrawler's about to completely destroy the barrier Ash speaks.
"Meltan use Thunder Wave!" Ash calls before the barrier breaks Meltan fires multiple rings of electricity that hit Crabrawler and paralyze it Ash then calls for his next command.
"Now Meltan use Headbutt then Flash Cannon!" Ash calls before Hau can call for a command Meltan shoots forward hits Crabrawlers face with Headbutt then fires a point-blank Flash Cannon that consumes the boxer and sends it flying a few feet away as Hau speaks.
"Crabrawler are you okay?!" Hau asks as Crabrawler groans a little in pain then stands back up making Hau smile. Hau then looks over at Ash and speaks.
"Wow you're Meltan really is strong" Hau says as Ash speaks.
"Yep, and you haven't seen anything yet. Meltan use Thundershock!" Ash calls Meltan fires the electric bolt at Crabrawler as Hau speaks.
"Crabrawler use Dig to dodge!" Hau calls when the Thundershock's about to hit Crabrawler the boxer quickly goes underground avoiding the attack. A few seconds later Crabrawler appears under Meltan and sends the hexagon flying in the air with Crabrawler going after it. Crabrawler reaches Meltan it raises its right fist as Hau speaks.
"Crabrawler use Brick Break!" "Meltan use Protect!" Both trainers call Meltan can't summon the barrier in time as Crabrawlers right fist glows white and swings it down hard on Meltans head sending the mon crashing back down on the battlefield creating a dust cloud as Ash speaks.
"Meltan!" Ash calls in worry as when the dust clears everyone can see Meltan laying on its back groaning in pain. Meltan then sees Crabrawler flying towards it as Hau speaks.
"Crabrawler use another Brick Break!" "Dodge Meltan and use Flash Cannon!" Both trainers call Crabrawler goes to hit Meltan but the Hexagon backs away making Crabrawler chop the battlefield instead. Meltan lands a couple feet away and fires the steel beam as Hau speaks.
"Use Dig to dodge!" Hau calls Crabrawler quickly goes underground and dodges the Flash Cannon as Ash speaks.
"Meltan when Crabrawler's about to appear from the ground jump in the air!" Ash calls with Meltan nodding as it begins to look around and waits for Crabrawler to appear. As Meltan continues to wait it feels something underneath it and quickly jumps in the air as Crabrawler appears Ash quickly calls for a command.
"Meltan use Flash Cannon!" Ash calls Meltan fires the steel beam at Crabrawler as Hau speaks.
"Crabrawler use Power-Up-Punch to punch the Flash Cannon away!" Hau calls both of Crabrawlers fists turn bright red as it begins to repeatedly punch through the Flash Cannon. Crabrawler keeps punching and punching until the boxer completely destroys the beam and reaches Meltan. Crabrawler can feel its attack increase then raises its right fist as Hau speaks.
"Let's end this Crabrawler use Brick Break!" Hau calls Crabrawlers fist glows white then swings down going to hit Meltan as Ash speaks.
"Meltan use Substitute!" Ash calls surprising Hau as Meltan lets a clone take its place and lets Crabrawler hit it instead. Meltan then lands on Crabrawlers back and begins to spark its body as Ash speaks.
"Now Thundershock!" Ash calls Meltan fires the electric shock and begins shocking Crabrawler making the boxer cry out in pain until there's an explosion. Both mons land on the ground with Meltan safely landing while Crabrawler lands on its stomach groaning in pain. The boxer looks over at Meltan and sees it charging a beam as Ash speaks.
"Now Meltan Flash Cannon!" Ash calls Meltan fires the steel beam as Hau speaks.
"Dodge Crabrawler!" Hau calls Crabrawler goes to dodge but can't because of the paralysis. The Flash Cannon then hits Crabrawler and creates an explosion as Hau speaks.
"Crabrawler!" Hau yells in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Crabrawler laying on its stomach knocked out, Tracey then makes the call.
"Crabrawler's unable to battle Meltan's the winner!" Tracey calls making Ash smile as he speaks.
"Yeah! Great job Meltan!" "Pika!" Ash and Pikachu cheer as Meltan looks at them and smiles. Off to the side Misty along with Leaf cheer while Barry and Cameron are surprised by Meltan's strength. Back on the battlefield Hau's surprised that Crabrawler lost then returns the mon to its Pokeball and tells it thank you. Hau then looks over at Ash who's celebrating with his Pokémon then speaks.
"Your Meltan really is strong Ash I was confident that Crabrawler would've won" Hau says as Ash speaks.
"Thanks though things could've gone differently if the paralysis didn't activate. So, who's your next Pokémon?" Ash asks as Hau pulls out a Pokeball and speaks.
"I'll use this one next Marowak come out!" Hau says he throws the ball forward as an Alolan Marowak appears the mon has a serious look on its face and gets in a battle stance as Ash speaks.
"So, an Alolan Marowak is next" Ash says to himself. Tracey calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Let's go Meltan use Thundershock!" Ash calls when Meltan begins to spark its body Hau speaks.
"Use Bonemerang!" Hau calls before Meltan can release the Thundershock Marowak quickly throws its bone which hits Meltan making the Hexagon stop and cause super effective damage. Marowak quickly runs forward, jumps in the air, and catches its bone. As Marowak's falling towards Meltan Hau speaks.
"Now use Bone Club!" "Dodge Meltan!" Both trainers call Meltan's unable to dodge in time as Marowak slams its bone hard on Meltans head making the mon crash face first on the battlefield and creating a cloud of dust as Ash speaks.
"Meltan!" Ash calls in worry. A few seconds later the cloud of dust clears everyone can see Marowak standing over an unconscious Meltan as Tracey speaks.
"Meltan's unable to battle Marowak's the winner!" Tracey calls making Hau smile as he speaks.
"Alright! Great job Marowak!" Hau cheers as Marowak looks at him and nods. Off to the side Misty speaks.
"Darn Meltan lost" Misty says as Leaf speaks.
"Unfortunately, Marowak was too fast for Meltan" Leaf says with Misty nodding. Back on the battlefield Ash's sad that Meltan lost but smiles he pulls out Meltans Pokeball and speaks.
"Meltan return" Ash says returning the mon back to its Pokeball and tells Meltan thank you. Ash then looks forward and begins to speak.
"That Marowak's fast so I'll use a speedy Pokemon of my own" Ash says to himself as he pulls out his next Pokeball throws it forward and speaks.
"Torracat I choose you!" Ash says as Torracat appears from its Pokeball and immediately gets in a battle stance. Hau smiles and speaks.
"So, Torracat's your next one" Hau says as Ash speaks.
"Yep, and it's going to beat your Marowak!" Ash says while having a confident look on his face with Torracat agreeing as it glares at Marowak with Marowak glaring back. Tracey calls for the battle to continue as Hau speaks.
"Marowak use Bonemerang!" Hau calls Marowak quickly throws its bone forward as Ash speaks.
"Dodge Torracat then use Flame Charge!" Ash calls Torracat quickly moves to the right and easily avoids the bone. Torracat then covers its body in fire and starts running towards Marowak as Hau speaks.
"Counter with Flame Wheel!" Hau calls Marowak covers its body in green fire as it becomes a spinning wheel and shoots forward. Torracat and Marowak then collide. They begin pushing each other trying to knock their opponent away but are unable to as they both slide back. Torracat then notices Marowaks bone coming to hit it from behind as Ash speaks.
"Jump in the air to dodge Torracat!" Ash calls Torracat quickly jumps in the air avoiding the bone as Hau smiles and speaks.
"Now Marowak grab your bone and use Bone Rush!" Hau calls Marowak quickly runs forward, grabs its bone, jumps in the air, and reaches Torracat instantly. Before Ash can tell Torracat to dodge Marowaks bone becomes two as it begins to repeatedly hit Torracat with each hit doing more than the last and causing super effective damage. Marowak then hits Torracat one more time and sends it crashing back on the battlefield as Ash speaks.
"Torracat!" Ash calls in worry. Back on the battlefield Torracat's groaning in pain but manages to stand back up as Ash speaks.
"Above you Torracat!" Ash calls Torracat looks in the air and sees Marowak falling towards it as Hau speaks.
"Use Bone Club!" "Dodge Torracat then use Flamethrower!" Both trainers call Marowak goes to slam its bone on Torracat but the fire cat manages to back away in time as Marowak slams its bone hard on the ground. When Torracat lands it fires the stream of fire, Marowak looks at it as Hau speaks.
"Marowak use Bone Rush to blow it away!" Hau calls Marowaks bone becomes two it points them forward and starts spinning them as the Flamethrower connects. Marowak keeps spinning its bones until the Flamethrower is completely gone, Torracat then appears in front of Marowak as Ash speaks.
"Now Flame Charge!" Ash calls before Hau can call for a command Torracat covers its body in fire and hits Marowak causing some damage and making the mon slide back a few feet. Torracat feels its speed increase as Ash calls for a command.
"Okay Torracat use Fire Spin!" Ash calls Torracat fires the fiery vortex at Marowak as Hau speaks.
"Dodge Marowak then use Bone Rush!" Hau calls Marowak quickly moves to the right avoiding the Fire Spin then shoots towards Torracat and reaches it instantly. When Marowak goes to hit Torracat Ash calls for a command.
"Torracat jump in the air to dodge then use Fire Blast!" Ash calls Torracat quickly jumps in the air and avoids Marowaks attack. Torracats bell heats up as a big blast of fire appears out of it, Torracat then slaps the blast of fire with its paw and sends it towards Marowak as Hau speaks.
"Knock it back with Shadow Bone!" Hau calls Marowaks bone is covered in ghostly energy as it swings it and collides with the blast of fire. The Fire Blast tries to push Marowak away, but the mon stands strong and begins to slowly push the blast of fire back as Ash speaks.
"Now Torracat use Flame Charge and dive into the Fire Blast!" Ash calls Torracat covers its body in fire and shoots forward entering the Fire Blast. Torracat while in the Fire Blast raises its fire power more as it then bursts out of the Fire Blast and hits Marowak in the face creating an explosion. Everyone sees Marowak appear out of the explosion and landing on its back a few feet away. Marowak also drops its bone as Ash speaks.
"This is it Torracat use Fire Blast!" "Dodge Marowak and grab your bone!" Both trainers call Torracat quickly fires a big blast of fire, Marowak's about to go grab its bone but doesn't have time as the blast of fire hits it and creates an explosion Hau then speaks.
"Marowak!" Hau calls in worry. A few seconds later the smoke clears and everyone can see Marowak lying on its stomach knocked out as Tracey speaks.
"Marowak's unable to battle Torracat's the winner!" Tracey calls making Ash smile as he speaks.
"Yeah! Great job Torracat!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer as Torracat smiles. Off to the side Misty along with Leaf cheer while Barry and Cameron continue to watch in silence. Back on the battlefield Hau's sad that Marowak lost but smiles he returns the mon back to its Pokeball and tells it thank you. Hau then looks over at Ash and speaks.
"I wasn't expecting you to have your Torracat head inside the Fire Blast" Hau says as Ash speaks.
"It was something I just thought of and I'm glad it worked" Ash responds with Hau nodding as he pulls out his next Pokeball and speaks.
"Well, here's my next one Go! Tauros!" Hau says he throws the ball forward as his Kanto Tauros appears and is a shiny Tauros as its color is green. The bull lets out a mighty roar then looks at Torracat with Torracat looking at it as Ash speaks.
"So, his next one's a shiny Kanto Tauros and it looks strong. Torracat didn't receive much damage from its battle with Marowak and after raising its speed with Flame Charge it should be faster" Ash thinks to himself as he looks at Torracat and speaks.
"Torracat I'm keeping you in!" Ash says with the fire cat nodding as it gets in a battle stance with Tauros doing the same. Tracey calls for the battle to continue as Hau speaks.
"Tauros use Earthquake!" Hau calls Tauros stomps its feet on the battlefield causing it to shake as Ash speaks.
"Jump Torracat and use Fire Blast!" Ash calls Torracat quickly jumps in the air and dodges the Earthquake. Torracat then fires a big blast of fire at Tauros as Hau speaks.
"Tauros jump in the air and use Drill Run!" Hau calls Tauros jumps in the air becomes a drill and collides with the Fire Blast. Tauros easily pierces through the blast of fire, hits Torracat causing super effective damage and knocks the fire cat out of the air making it fall back on the battlefield. Torracat stands back up but groans in pain then sees Tauros falling towards it as Hau speaks.
"Tauros use Double Edge!" "Torracat dodge then use Flame Charge!" Both trainers call Tauros covers its body in white energy it goes to hit Torracat, but the fire cat manages to back away in time and makes Tauros hit the battlefield instead. Tauros groans a little in pain as Torracat covers its body in fire and jumps towards Tauros going to hit it as Hau speaks.
"Dodge Tauros and use Zen Headbutt!" Hau calls Tauros sees Torracat coming and manages to narrowly dodge in time. Tauros covers its head in psychic energy jumps forward and hits Torracats right side sending it flying as it lands a few feet away. Ash asks Torracat if it's okay with the mon nodding as Hau speaks.
"Now use Close Combat!" "Dodge Torracat!" Both trainers call Tauros runs forward going to hit Torracat. Torracat's about to dodge but can't as it's flinching because of the Zen Headbutt, Tauros then reaches Torracat and begins to hit it repeatedly with its horns. Tauros then hits Torracat with its back hooves sending it flying a few feet away as the fire cat crashes back on the battlefield. Torracat's groaning in pain but manages to stand up then sees Tauros running towards it as Ash speaks.
"Torracat use Revenge!" Ash calls Torracat nods it covers its right paw in orange energy then jumps forward going to hit Tauros as Hau speaks.
"Tauros dodge to the left then use Drill Run!" Hau calls Tauros nods as it quickly dodges to the left narrowly avoiding Torracats fist. Ash along with Torracat have surprised looks on their faces they see Tauros turn into a drill, Ash calls for Torracat to dodge but the fire cat doesn't have time as Tauros shoots forward and hits Torracat causing super effective damage. Torracat cries out in pain as it's sent flying and crashes below Ash's feet laying on its right side. Ash looks at the mon and speaks.
"Torracat!" Ash calls out to it. Everyone sees Torracat struggling to stand back up as it wants to continue but Torracat ultimately stays down. Tracey then makes the call.
"Torracat's unable to battle Tauros's the winner!" Tracey calls making Hau smile as he speaks.
"Yeah! Great job Tauros!" Hau says with the bull nodding. Meanwhile off to the side Misty speaks.
"Darn Torracat lost" Misty says as Barry speaks.
"I'm surprised that Tauros was able to beat Torracat when it came to speed." Barry says as Leaf speaks.
"It seems like Hau must have raised his Tauros to be very speedy so even though Torracat got a boost of speed from the Flame Charge Tauros was still too fast" Leaf says with the group nodding. Back on the battlefield Ash's sad that Torracat lost but smiles he then pulls out its Pokeball and speaks.
"Torracat return" Ash says returning the fire cat and telling it thank you/get a good rest. Ash puts the ball back on his belt as Hau speaks.
"So, Ash what do you think of my Tauros? It's pretty strong right" Hau asks as Ash speaks.
"Yeah, your Tauros is strong Hau, but it won't beat my next Pokemon. Lycanroc I choose you!" Ash says he throws the ball forward as his Dusk Lycanroc appears. The wolf lets out a mighty howl showcasing its power then looks at Tauros with Tauros looking at it. Hau along with Barry and Cameron have surprised looks on their faces as Hau speaks.
"Wow so that's the new Lycanroc form you used in the league I gotta say it looks even cooler in person" Hau says as Ash speaks.
"Thanks, and not only is it cool it's also strong" Ash says as Hau nods and speaks.
"Yeah, I remember watching you use it in the league, and I won't underestimate it. Tauros get ready!" Hau says with the bull nodding as it continues to look at Lycanroc with the wolf looking at it. Tracey calls for the battle to continue as Ash makes the first move.
"Lycanroc use Accelerock!" Ash calls Lycanrocs eyes turn red as it shoots forward at blinding speed and hits Tauros causing damage and making the bull slide back as Hau speaks.
"Tauros!" Hau calls in worry Tauros manages to stop itself it groans a little in pain then looks at Lycanroc. Hau lets out a relief sigh as he begins to think.
"Man, that was fast I couldn't even see it" Hau says to himself as he smiles and speaks.
"Just what I expect from your Lycanroc but now it's our turn to attack. Tauros use Drill Run!" Hau calls Tauros roars as it turns into a drill and shoots forward heading for Lycanroc. Ash quickly calls for a command.
"Lycanroc dodge then use Stone Edge!" Ash calls Lycanroc quickly jumps to the left avoiding the Drill Run. Lycanroc lands a few feet away then stomps its front feet on the ground summoning the sharp stones that head for Tauros as Hau speaks.
"Tauros destroy them with Iron Head!" Hau calls Tauros covers its head in steel energy runs forward and collides with the sharp stones. Tauros easily breaks through one of them and continues running forward easily destroying the Stone Edge. When Tauros destroys the final one it heads for Lycanroc as Ash speaks.
"Lycanroc use Drill Run!" Ash calls Lycanroc becomes a drill shoots forward and collides with Tauros. The 2 mons begin pushing each other back and forth. As they continue Lycanroc starts to slowly push Tauros back as Hau speaks.
"Tauros use Iron Tail!" Hau calls Tauros covers its 3 tails in steel energy moves slightly to the right and hits Lycanroc across the face with its tails causing super effective damage. Lycanroc's sent flying a few feet away then lands back on the battlefield as Ash speaks.
"Lycanroc!" Ash calls in worry as Lycanroc manages to stand back up, it can feel that its defense has decreased but shakes its head and is ready to continue. Ash smiles as Hau speaks.
"Let's keep up the pressure Tauros use Earthquake!" Hau calls Tauros roars as it stomps its feet hard on the battlefield causing it to shake as Ash speaks.
"Lycanroc jump in the air to dodge!" Ash calls Lycanroc quickly jumps in the air and avoids the attack as Hau speaks.
"Now use Iron Head!" Hau calls Tauros covers its head in steel energy jumps forward and hits Lycanroc causing damage to the wolf. Lycanroc groans in pain but then begins to glow in orange energy as Ash speaks.
"Use Counter!" Ash calls Lycanroc barks as it quickly covers its right paw in orange energy that becomes green and punches Tauros hard in the face sending the bull back down on the battlefield. Tauros groans from the super effective hit, Tauros then sees Lycanroc falling towards it as Ash speaks.
"Lycanroc use Drill Run!" "Dodge Tauros!" Both trainers call Lycanroc becomes a drill and heads for Tauros, but the bull manages to dodge in time and Lycanroc digs underground. Tauros feels Lycanroc underneath the battlefield as Hau speaks.
"Tauros when Lycanroc appears dodge and use Iron Head!" Hau calls with Tauros nodding as a few seconds later Tauros moves to the right as Lycanroc appears from the ground. Tauros then covers its head in steel energy and shoots forward going to hit Lycanroc as Ash speaks.
"Lycanroc use Accelerock!" Ash calls when Tauros is just inches away from hitting Lycanroc the wolf disappears then re appears and hits Tauros's right side hard. Tauros is then sent flying and lands below Hau's feet creating a dust cloud as Hau speaks.
"Tauros!" Hau calls in worry. A few seconds later the dust clears everyone can see Tauros lying on its left side and is knocked out. Tracey then makes the call.
"Tauros is unable to battle Lycanroc's the winner!" Tracey calls making Ash smile.
"Yes! Great job Lycanroc!" "Pika!" Ash and Pikachu say happily as Lycanroc looks at them and smiles. Off to the side Misty and Leaf cheer as Cameron speaks.
"Wow that Lycanroc is strong" Cameron says with his Riolu and Barry agreeing. Back on the battlefield Hau returns Tauros to its Pokeball, tells it thank you and puts the ball back in his Pocket. Hau then looks at his Dartrix and speaks.
"You ready Dartrix?" Hau asks with the owl nodding as Hau speaks.
"Alright Dartrix you're up!" Hau says as the owl flies forward and lands on the battlefield. Dartrix looks at Lycanroc with Lycanroc looking at it as Ash speaks.
"So, Dartrix's his last Pokémon. Let's win this Lycanroc!" Ash says as Lycanroc barks in agreement and gets in a battle stance with Dartrix doing the same. Tracey calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Lycanroc use Stone Edge!" Ash calls Lycanroc summons multiple sharp stones around it and fires them at Dartrix as Hau speaks.
"Dartrix fly forward and dodge the Stone Edge!" Hau calls Dartrix flies forward and begins to easily avoid the sharp stones. As Dartrix continues to fly it's getting closer to Lycanroc as Ash speaks.
"Lycanroc use Crunch!" "Dartrix dodge then use Razor Leaf!" Both trainers' call. Lycanroc covers its teeth in dark energy and goes to bite Dartrix but the owl moves to the right avoiding the move. Dartrix then fires multiple sharp leaves at Lycanroc as Ash speaks.
"Lycanroc dodge then use Accelerock!" Ash calls Lycanroc nods as its able to easily avoid the sharp leaves. After Lycanroc dodges the leaves, it shoots forward at blinding speed and goes to hit Dartrix as Hau smiles and speaks.
"Dartrix use Protect then Nasty Plot!" Hau calls surprising Ash as when Lycanroc's just inches away from hitting Dartrix the bird quickly summons a protective barrier that blocks Lycanrocs attack making the wolf bounce away, but it does crack the barrier a little bit. Dartrix then sharply raises its special attack as Hau speaks.
"Now end it with Leaf Storm!" "Lycanroc look out!" Both trainers' call. Lycanroc can't dodge in time as Dartrix summons a big storm of leaves and fires them at Lycanroc. The wolf is consumed in the leaves and is sent crashing down on the battlefield creating a dust cloud as Ash speaks.
"Lycanroc!" Ash calls in worry as a few seconds later the dust cloud disappears, and everyone can see Ash's Lycanroc. It's laying on its stomach groaning in pain, the wolf tries to stand back up but ultimately stays down as Tracey speaks.
"Lycanroc's unable to battle Dratrix's the winner!" Tracey calls making Hau happy as he speaks.
"Alright we took down Lycanroc great job Dartrix!" Hau says happily as Dartrix nods. Off to the side Misty, Leaf, along with Cameron and Barry are surprised that Ash's Lycanroc lost. Back on the battlefield Ash's surprised that Lycanroc lost too but smiles as he returns it to its Pokeball and speaks.
"Thank you Lycanroc take a good rest" Ash says he puts the ball back on his belt then looks at Hau and speaks.
"Your Dartrix's strong Hau I wasn't expecting it to defeat my Lycanroc" Ash says as Hau speaks.
"Thanks, after your Lycanroc was weakened by Tauros I knew Dartrix could beat it" Hau says with Ash nodding as he pulls out his next Pokeball and speaks.
"I see well I'm not done yet and here's my next Pokémon. Rowlet I choose you!" Ash says he throws the ball forward as the owl appears. When Rowlet appears it's currently sleeping causing Ash along with Pikachu to fall while Hau and Dartrix are confused. Off to the side Misty along with Leaf face palm in embarrassment as Cameron speaks.
"His Rowlet looked more motivated to battle in the league but here it's not" Cameron says as Misty speaks.
"Well, this is how Rowlet normally is" Misty says with Cameron nodding. Back on the battlefield Ash recomposes himself as he looks at Rowlet and speaks.
"Rowlet wake up it's time to battle!" Ash says as the owl slowly opens its eyes looks at Dartrix then immediately goes back to sleep making Ash slightly annoyed. As Ash's about to go wake up Rowlet Hau's Dartrix flies over to it and slaps Rowlet across the face instantly waking up the owl. Rowlet rubs its cheek then looks at Dartrix and thanks it with Dartrix nodding as it goes back on its side of the battlefield Ash speaks.
"Okay Rowlet you ready to battle?!" Ash asks with the owl nodding it gets in a battle stance as Hau speaks.
"Alright Dartrix let's win this!" Hau says with the owl nodding as it gets in a battle stance too. The trainers and Pokemon look at each other in silence as Tracey speaks.
"Let the battle continue!" Tracey calls as both Ash and Hau call for a command.
"Use Aerial Ace!" Both trainers call Rowlet and Dartrix shoot forward at blinding speed and collide. The two owls begin pushing each other back and forth, Rowlet tries its best to push Dartrix away, but the mon is too strong. Dartrix manages to push Rowlet away making it spin out of control as Hau speaks.
"Now use Leaf Blade!" Hau calls the 2 feathers on Dartrixs back glow green and become longer. Dartrix flies over to Rowlet and goes to hit it as Ash speaks.
"Rowlet dodge then use Seed Bomb!" Ash calls Rowlet manages to readjust itself, dodges the Leaf Blade and fires a grassy seed that goes to hit Dartrix as Hau speaks.
"Knock it back with Leaf Blade then use Aerial Ace!" Hau calls Dartrix quickly knocks the grassy seed back towards Rowlet, Rowlet manages to dodge the Seed Bomb but gets hit by Dartrix who's using Aerial Ace. Rowlet groans from the super effective move as it's sent flying back a few feet then stops itself. Rowlet looks at Dartrix and sees the mon flying towards it as Hau speaks.
"Dartrix use Aerial Ace again!" "Rowlet counter with Air Slash!" Both trainers call Dartrix speeds up and goes to hit Rowlet, but Rowlet starts flapping its wings fast sending out multiple slashes of wind. Dartrix manages to dodge a few of the Air Slashes but gets hit by a couple of them and is knocked back a couple of feet as Ash speaks.
"Great job Rowlet now use Aerial Ace!" Ash calls Rowlet flies forward going at a fast speed as it's about to hit Dartrix Hau speaks.
"Dartrix use Protect then Leaf Blade!" Hau calls Dartrix quickly summons a protective barrier that blocks Rowlets attack and makes it back away. Dartrixs back feathers become grassy blades as it flies forward and hits Rowlet knocking it back down on the battlefield creating a dust cloud as Ash speaks.
"Rowlet!" Ash calls in worry as when the dust clears everyone can see Rowlet groaning in pain but can still battle. Rowlet struggles to stand back up then sees Dartrix flying towards it as Hau speaks.
"Now use Aerial Ace!" "Dodge Rowlet!" Both trainers call Dartrix speeds up it goes to hit Rowlet but the owl quickly flies back avoiding the attack. This doesn't stop Dartrix as it flies after Rowlet and hits it causing super effective damage knocking Rowlet back more and spin out of control as Ash speaks.
"Quick use Air Slash!" "Dartrix you use Air Slash too!" Both trainers call Rowlet readjusts itself and fires multiple slashes of wind with Dartrix doing the same. The slashes of wind collide creating multiple explosions in the sky, out of the explosion appears 2 slashes of wind that head for Rowlet as Ash speaks.
"Rowlet dodge!" Ash calls Rowlet manages to easily evade the 2 attacks when that happens Dartrix appears behind Rowlet as Hau speaks.
"Now use Leaf Blade!" Hau calls before Ash can tell Rowlet to dodge Dartrix hits Rowlet with Leaf Blade and sends it crashing on the battlefield creating a dust cloud as Ash speaks.
"Rowlet!" Ash calls in worry when the dust clears Rowlet's laying on its stomach groaning in pain as Hau speaks.
"Okay Dartrix let's finish this use Brave Bird!" Hau calls Dartrix nods as it covers its body in fire then descends from the sky. Dartrix's about to hit the ground but manages to lift itself up and is now glowing a shiny blue. Dartrix goes to hit Rowlet as Ash speaks.
"Rowlet dodge!" Ash calls Rowlet tries but is unable to Rowlet sees Dartrix coming and doesn't want to lose. Rowlet lets out a mighty yell as it begins to glow a bright white which shocks everyone. The light blinds Dartrix and makes it fly in the air as Hau speaks.
"No way it's-" Before Hau can finish Ash speaks.
"Rowlet's evolving!" Ash says with excitement in his eyes. Everyone looks at Rowlet they see it grow bigger and its appearance changes. When the evolution stops what was once a Rowlet is now a Dartrix. Dartrix spreads out its wings and roars as it looks at Hau's Dartrix who's surprised. Hau along with everyone else have surprised looks on their faces as Ash speaks.
"Congrats on evolving Dartrix and it looks like you've learned a new move too let's win this!" Ash says with Dartrix nodding. Hau shakes his head and recomposes himself as he speaks.
"Amazing Ash but we're not losing Dartrix use Aerial Ace!" Hau calls when his Dartrix goes to use the move Ash speaks.
"Dartrix use Shadow Sneak!" Ash calls Dartrix quickly summons a ghostly figure that appears in front of Hau's Dartrix and slaps it across the face causing some damage to it as Ash speaks.
"Great job Dartrix now use Aerial Ace!" Ash calls Dartrix shoots forward at blinding speed and hits Hau's Dartrix in the stomach. Hau's Dartrix coughs in pain as it's sent flying back a couple of feet but manages to stop itself and looks at Ash's Dartrix with the owl looking at it. Both owls then get their wings ready as both trainers speak.
"Use Air Slash!" Both trainers call the 2 owls flap their wings fast sending out multiple slashes of wind that collide creating multiple explosions in the sky. The 2 owls keep firing as Ash speaks.
"Use Aerial Ace!" Ash calls his Dartrix shoots forward going to hit Hau's Dartrix as Hau speaks.
"Quick use Protect!" "Stop Dartrix!" Both trainers call Hau's Dartrix summons a barrier going to block Ash's Dartrix attack, but the mon stops. Once the protective barrier goes down Ash smiles and speaks.
"Now use Aerial Ace then Tackle!" Ash calls before Hau can call for a command Ash's Dartrix shoots forward and hits Hau's Dartrix in the stomach causing damage. Ash's Dartrix then kicks Hau's Dartrix hard in the stomach and sends it crashing back on the battlefield making it land on its back. Hau's Dartrix groans in pain but stands back up as it looks at Ash's Dartrix with the owl looking at it as their trainers speak.
"Aerial Ace!" Both trainers call the 2 owls instantly shoot at each other and collide creating an explosion. The 2 owls then appear from the explosion and start flying in the air clashing with each other over and over again. They collide one more time then back away from each other as Hau speaks.
"Dartrix let's finish this with Brave Bird!" "You counter with your Brave Bird too!" Both trainers call the 2 owls both instantly shine in blue energy fly towards each other and collide creating a big explosion along with a strong wind. When the wind's gone everyone sees the 2 owls fall from the sky and land on the battlefield laying on their stomachs. Everyone waits to see who'll stand up first but neither one of the owls move as they're both knocked out, Tracey makes the call.
"Hau's Dartrix along with Ash's Dartrix are unable to battle. Seeing as neither Ash nor Hau have any Pokémon left this means that this battle's a tie!" Tracey says everyone has surprised looks on their faces as Leaf speaks.
"I wasn't expecting them to tie" Leaf says as Misty speaks.
"Me neither" Misty says with Cameron and Barry agreeing. Back on the battlefield Ash along with Hau run over to their respective Dartrix and pick them up. Both mons tell their trainers sorry but Ash and Hau tell them that they did great. Hau then walks over to Ash and speaks.
"Great battle Ash I wasn't expecting a tie but I'm okay with it and next time I'll win" Hau says with his Dartrix agreeing as Ash smiles and speaks.
"We had fun too, and we'll be the ones who win next time" Ash responds with his Pokémon agreeing making Hau smile as he and Ash shake hands. After that 5 minutes past Ash went to the Pokemon Center called Prof. Oak and switched his Pokémon for his final battle of the day against Cameron. We see the two boys on their sides of the battlefield, and both have excited looks on their faces. Tracey tells them that the rules are the same as last time and for them to bring out their first Pokemon. Ash pulls out a Pokeball and speaks.
"Okay Krookodile I choose you!" Ash says he throws the ball forward as his Krookodile appears. The mon lets out a mighty roar sending out a shock wave then looks forward waiting for its opponent as Cameron speaks.
"Your Krookodile looks cool Ash and I've the perfect Pokémon for it. Volcarona Come Out!" Cameron says he throws the ball forward as a moth like Pokémon appears, it has a serious look on its face and looks at Krookodile as Ash speaks.
"Who's that Pokémon?" Ash says as he along with Leaf pull out their Pokedex's to scan the mon.
"Volcarona, the Sun Pokémon and a Bug/Fire type. Volcarona emerged from a flaming cocoon. It scatters burning scales from its six wings, bathing the area in a sea of fire." The Pokedex says as Ash speaks.
"So, that's a Volcarona it looks strong let's do this Krookodile!" Ash says with the croc nodding in agreement as it gets in a battle stance with Volcarona doing the same. Tracey calls for the battle to begin as Ash speaks.
"Krookodile use Stone Edge!" Ash calls Krookodile summons multiple sharp stones around it and fires multiple sharp rocks at Volcarona as Cameron speaks.
"Volcarona use Hurricane to blow the Stone Edge away!" Cameron calls Volcarona flaps its wings fast creating a large Hurricane that easily destroys the sharp stones and heads for Krookodile as Ash speaks.
"Krookodile use Dig to dodge then hit Volcarona!" Ash calls Krookodile nods as it quickly digs underground and avoids the Hurricane as it passes through. Volcarona then feels something underneath it as Cameron speaks.
"Dodge Volcarona then use Quiver Dance!" Cameron calls Volcarona quickly moves a couple feet back as Krookodile appears from underground and misses Volcarona. When Volcarona's at a safe distance it begins to dance raising its special attack, special defense, and speed. Volcarona looks at Krookodile as Cameron speaks.
"Great job Volcarona now fly forward!" Cameron calls Volcarona flies forward as Ash speaks.
"Krookodile when Volcarona gets close use Crunch!" "Volcarona dodge then use Bug Buzz!" Both trainers call when Volcarona's getting closer Krookodile covers its teeth in dark energy and goes to bite the mon. But Volcarona narrowly dodges to the right avoiding Krookodiles attack, Volcarona then fires a wave of green bug energy that hits Krookodile causing super effective damage and making the croc cry out in pain as Cameron speaks.
"Now use Lunge!" Cameron calls before Ash can tell Krookodile to dodge Volcarona glows in green bug energy and shoots forward hitting Krookodile hard in the stomach. The croc coughs in pain as it's sent flying and crashes below Ash's feet creating a dust cloud as Ash speaks.
"Krookodile!" Ash calls in worry as when the dust clears everyone can see Krookodile laying on its back knocked out as Tracey speaks.
"Krookodile's unable to battle Volcarona's the winner!" Tracey says making Cameron smile as he speaks.
"Way to go Volcarona!" "Rio!" Cameron and Riolu cheer as Volcarona looks at them and nods. Ash's surprised that Krookodile lost easily but recomposes himself as he returns the mon back to its Pokeball and speaks.
"Thanks, Krookodile take a good rest" Ash says as he puts the ball back on his belt, he sees Cameron return Volcarona pulls out another Pokeball and speaks.
"It's your turn Zweilous!" Cameron says he throws the ball forward as he sends out a mon that looks like Deino but instead of having one head it has two. The mon lets out a mighty roar then gets in a battle stance as Ash speaks.
"So, that's a Zweilous I'm guessing that it's the evolved form of Deino and is a dragon type in that case you'll be perfect" Ash says to himself as he throws his next Pokeball forward and speaks.
"Dratini I choose you!" Ash says as his shiny Dratini appears and gets into a battle stance. Cameron has an excited look on his face seeing Ash's Dratini as his Zweilous looks at it and growls, but Dratini isn't intimidated. Tracy calls for the battle to continue as Cameron speaks.
"Let's attack first Zweilous use Crunch!" Cameron calls Zweilous covers its teeth in dark energy and starts running towards Dratini as Ash speaks.
"Use Iron Tail!" Ash calls Dratini nods as when Zweilous goes to bite it Dratini covers its tail in steel energy then swings it slapping both of Zweilous heads across the face. The mon groans in pain then looks at Dratini as Ash speaks.
"Now use Dragon Pulse!" "Dodge Zweilous then use Dragon Rush!" Both trainers call Dratini fires the dragon beam, but Zweilous easily dodges by moving to the right. Zweilous covers its body in dragon energy runs forward and hits Dratini causing super effective damage and making the dragon slide back a few feet. Dratini groans a little in pain but sees Zweilous running towards it again as Cameron speaks.
"Now use Dragon Rush again!" Cameron calls Zweilous covers its body in dragon energy again and runs towards Dratini going to hit it as Ash speaks.
"Dratini don't move!" Ash says with Dratini nodding as she stays put. Dratini sees Zweilous getting closer and closer to it until the mon suddenly does a sharp turn to the right and misses Dratini. Cameron has a surprised look on his face as he speaks.
"Zweilous that's the wrong way!" Cameron says making the mon stop as the 2 heads look at Cameron and are confused. Off to the side Hau speaks.
"Wait why'd Zweilous go the other way?" Hau questions with Barry wondering the same as Leaf speaks.
"That's because of Zweilous's ability Hustle it's an ability that increases a Pokémon's attack power but also lowers the Pokémon's accuracy" Leaf says with Hau and Barry nodding as Barry speaks.
"But how'd Ash know that Zweilous would miss?" Barry asks as Misty speaks.
"One of our friends' named Iris has a Deino who also has the Hustle ability when battling Iris would tell her Deino which direction to attack so it could land hits on its opponent." Misty says as Hau speaks.
"So, since Cameron didn't tell Zweilous to go forward that let Ash know that Zweilous would miss it's attack?" Hau asks with Misty and Leaf nodding. Back on the battlefield the 2 Zweilous heads are still confused as Ash speaks.
"This is our chance Dratini use Dragon Pulse!" Ash calls Dratini nods as she fires a big Dragon Pulse that heads for Zweilous as Cameron speaks.
"Zweilous dodge!" Cameron calls when Zweilous goes to dodge the 2 heads try to go a different way but bump their heads into each other. This causes the 2 heads to fight as they try to bite each other, Cameron's about to tell them which direction they should go but was too late as the Dragon Pulse hits the mon creating an explosion as Cameron speaks.
"Zweilous!" Cameron calls in worry as when the dust clears everyone can see Zweilous laying on the ground knocked out as Tracey speaks.
"Zweilous's unable to battle Dratini's the winner!" Tracey says making Ash smile as he speaks.
"Yeah! Great job Dratini!" "Pika!" Ash and Pikachu cheer as Dratini looks at them and smiles. On the other side of the battlefield Cameron returns Zweilous and tells it thank you. Cameron pulls out his next Pokeball throws it forward and speaks.
"Dewott you're up!" Cameron says as a blue bipedal otter Pokemon appears; it has a serious look on its face then gets into a battle stance. Dratini gets into a battle stance too as Ash speaks.
"Who's that Pokémon?" Ash questions as he along with Leaf pull out their Pokedex's.
"Dewott, the Discipline Pokémon a Water type and the pre evolved form of Samurott. With its swordsmanship that flows like water, Dewott's skill at using two scalchops results from long and difficult training." The Pokedex says as Ash speaks.
"So, that's the pre evolved form of Samurott. Okay Dratini I'm keeping you in!" Ash says with the dragon nodding. Tracey calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Dratini use Dragon Rush!" Ash calls Dratini covers its body in dragon energy and shoots forward going to hit Dewott as Cameron speaks.
"Block with Razor Shell!" Cameron calls Dewott grabs its two scalchops turns them into water blades and brings them up blocking Dratinis attack. Dratini tries its best to knock the 2 blades away but is unable to as Dewott swings out its arms and pushes Dratini back making it land a few feet away. Dewott then starts running towards Dratini as Ash speaks.
"Dratini quick use Dragon Pulse!" "Dewott use Aqua Jet to dodge!" Both trainers call Dratini fires the big dragon beam it goes to hit Dewott but the otter covers its body in water and dodges the attack. Dewott shoots forward and hits Dratini causing some damage to it. Dewott then opens its mouth as Cameron speaks.
"Now use Ice Beam!" Cameron calls before Ash can call for a command Dewott fires the icy beam which hits Dratini causing super effective damage and freezing it Ash quickly calls for a command.
"Dratini break out of their with Flamethrower!" "I don't think so Dewott use Razor Shell!" Both trainers call before Dratini can break out of the ice Dewott's scalchops become water blades as it slashes the frozen Dratini and breaks the ice. Dewott's now behind Dratini who's now laying on its stomach knocked out as Tracey speaks.
"Dratini's unable to battle Dewott's the winner!" Tracey calls Cameron, Riolu, and Dewott cheer in victory. Ash's sad that Dratini lost but smiles as he returns the mon and tells it thank you. Ash puts the ball back on his belt as he pulls out his next Pokeball and speaks.
"Froakie I choose you!" Ash says he throws the ball forward as Froakie appears and immediately gets in a battle stance with Dewott doing the same. Tracey calls for the battle to continue as Cameron speaks.
"Use Aqua Jet!" "Froakie use Double Team to dodge!" Both trainers call Dewott covers its body in water and shoots forward going to hit Froakie. Froakie quickly creates multiple clones of itself dodges Dewotts attack and making the mon hit a clone instead. Dewott then sees multiple Froakies surrounding it as Ash speaks.
"Use Water Pulse!" Ash calls Froakie along with its clones' fire multiple balls of water at Dewott as Cameron speaks.
"Dewott use Razor Shell to cut them all down then use Aqua Jet!" Cameron calls Dewott nods as it begins to easily cut down the Water Pulses. Dewott then covers its body in water and begins to destroy all of Froakies clones. When Dewott's done it doesn't see the real Froakie, as Dewott's looking for it Froakie appears behind Dewott and has its fists ready as Ash speaks.
"Froakie use Aerial Ace then Water Pulse!" Ash calls Froakies fists and feet glow blue as it begins to repeatedly punch/kick the mon causing damage to it. Froakie punches Dewott one more time then fires a Water Pulse that hits Dewott sending it a few feet away and making it land on its back. Dewott groans in pain but stands but back up as it looks at Froakie with the frog looking at it as their trainers speak.
"Dewott use Razor Shell!" "Froakie use Cut!" Both trainers call Dewotts scalchops become water blades while Froakie summons a white blade from its right hand. The two mons jump forward and slash each other they then land back on the ground. Froakies white blade disappears as it gets on one knee and groans in pain. Dewott looks back at Froakie and smiles but then closes its eyes as it falls on its stomach knocked out. Tracey then speaks.
"Dewott's unable to battle Froakie's the winner!" Tracey calls as Ash speaks.
"Great job Froakie!" Ash cheers along with Pikachu as Froakie smiles. Cameron's sad that Dewott lost but smiles as he returns the mon and tells it thank you. Cameron then looks at Riolu and speaks.
"You ready Riolu?" Cameron asks with the mon nodding as Cameron smiles and speaks.
"Okay Riolu you're up!" Cameron says as Riolu immediately jumps on the battlefield. Riolu looks at Froakie and gets in a battle stance with Froakie doing the same as Ash speaks.
"Cameron's using his Riolu next I can feel that it's strong" Ash says to himself as he speaks.
"Froakie don't underestimate it!" Ash says with the frog nodding. Tracey calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Let's attack first Froakie use Water Pulse!" Ash calls Froakie quickly fires the ball of water at Riolu as Cameron speaks.
"Punch it back with Rock Smash!" Cameron calls Riolu covers its right fist in red energy and punches the Water Pulse sending it back at Froakie as Ash speaks.
"Froakie jump in the air to dodge then use Bubblebeam!" Ash calls Froakie quickly jumps in the air and avoids the Water Pulse. Froakie takes a deep breath and fires a stream of bubbles at Riolu as Cameron speaks.
"Use Vacuum Wave!" Cameron calls Riolu crosses its arms together and spreads them out firing a wind blade. Ash along with Froakie are surprised as the Vacuum Wave easily destroys the Bubblebeam and hits Froakie causing damage as the frog falls back on the battlefield landing on its back as Ash speaks.
"Froakie are you okay?!" Ash asks with the frog nodding as it stands back up Cameron speaks.
"Riolu use Thunder Punch!" Cameron calls Riolu starts running forward and covers its fists in electricity. When Riolu goes to punch Froakie Ash speaks.
"Froakie dodge then use Cut!" Ash calls Froakie quickly moves to the right and narrowly dodges Riolus attack. Froakie's now on Riolus left side it raises its hands and summons a white blade. Froakie then swings down it goes to hit Riolu as Cameron speaks.
"Use Detect!" Cameron calls surprising Ash as Riolus eye glows as it manages to back away avoiding the Cut. Riolus fists continue to glow with electricity as Cameron speaks.
"Now Thunder Punch!" Cameron calls Ash's unable to tell Froakie to dodge in time as Riolu shoots forward and begins to punch Froakie repeatedly with each punch hurting more than the last. Riolu punches Froakie one more time as the frog is sent flying and crashes next to Ash knocked out as Tracey speaks.
"Froakie's unable to battle Riolu's the winner!" Tracey says as Cameron speaks.
"Alright! Great job Riolu!" Cameron cheers as Riolu smiles. Ash's surprised that Froakie lost he picks up the frog and speaks.
"Hey Froakie, are you okay?" Ash asks as Froakie tells Ash sorry that it lost but Ash tells the frog that it did great. Ash then returns Froakie back to its Pokeball as Cameron speaks.
"This battle's been fun Ash, but it looks like it's almost over I still have 2 Pokemon left while you only have one looks like it's going to be my victory" Cameron says while having a confident look on his face as Ash smiles, he grabs a Pokeball and speaks.
"That may be the case but the battle's not over yet I'm still going to win and this one will help me. Riolu I choose you!" Ash says he throws the ball forward as his Riolu appears. The aura puppy looks at Cameron's Riolu and immediately gets in a battle stance with Cameron's Riolu doing the same. Off to the side Hau speaks.
"So, now it's a battle between Riolu's" Hau says as Barry speaks.
"I wonder which one is stronger" Barry says while Misty and Leaf cheer Ash and Riolu on. Back on the battlefield Cameron looks at Ash's Riolu and speaks.
"So, you're using your Riolu I remember watching it battle in the league and was very impressed by it. My Riolu's also been really interested in facing it" Cameron says with his Riolu nodding as Ash speaks.
"Well looks like your Riolu will finally get its wish and my Riolu's going to win!" Ash says with his Riolu nodding. After that there's silence in the air Ash, Cameron, and their Riolu's look at each other waiting for the battle to start as Tracey speaks.
"Let the battle continue!" Tracey calls as Ash and Cameron speak.
"Use Power Up Punch!" "Use Rock Smash!" Both trainers call Ash's Riolus fists glow in orange energy while Cameron's Riolus fists glow in red energy. The 2 mons shoot forward and collide with their right and left fist respectively. The two mons begin pushing each other back and forth trying to see who's stronger. As they keep doing that Cameron's Riolu gets its right palm ready as Cameron speaks.
"Use Force Palm!" "Riolu counter with your Force Palm!" Both trainers call Cameron's Riolu goes to hit Ash's Riolu with its right palm, but Ash's Riolu manages to counter with its left palm. Both palms clash creating an explosion and making both mons slide back. Ash's Riolu manages to stop itself and starts running towards Cameron's Riolu as Ash speaks.
"Riolu use Power Up Punch!" Ash calls Riolu covers its right fist in orange energy then jumps forward going to punch Cameron's Riolu as Cameron speaks.
"Riolu use Detect then use Circle Throw to throw Ash's Riolu in the air!" Cameron calls his Riolu nods as when Ash's Riolu goes to punch it Cameron's Riolu eye glows as it bends backwards avoiding the attack. Cameron's Riolu then grabs Ash's Riolus leg and throws it high in the air. Cameron's Riolu jumps after Ash's Riolu as Ash speaks.
"Riolu use Force Palm!" "Dodge Riolu then use Rock Smash!" Both trainers call Ash's Riolu goes to palm Cameron's, but Cameron's Riolu manages to dodge covers its left fist in red energy and punches Ash's Riolu hard in the stomach making it crash back down on the battlefield as Ash speaks.
"Riolu!" Ash calls in worry as when the dust clears everyone can see his Riolu she's standing up but groans a little in pain and can feel its defense decrease. Ash's Riolu then notices Cameron's Riolu falling towards it as Cameron speaks.
"Now Force Palm!" "Dodge Riolu then use High Jump Kick!" Both trainers call Cameron's Riolu goes to palm Ash's, but Ash's Riolu manages to dodge in time by jumping back a couple of feet as Cameron's Riolu palms the battlefield. Once Ash's Riolu lands her right leg glows bright crimson shoots forward and knees Cameron's Riolu hard in the face causing damage to it as Cameron speaks.
"Use Rock Smash!" "Riolu use Double Team!" Both trainers call Cameron's Riolu right fist glows crimson and goes to punch Ash's Riolu. But Ash's Riolu dodges the attack by summoning multiple clones they surround Cameron's Riolu as Ash speaks.
"Riolu use Vacuum Wave!" Ash calls Riolu along with its clones begin punching the air sending out multiple waves of fighting energy that head for Cameron's Riolu as Cameron speaks.
"Blow them away with your Vacuum Wave!" Cameron calls his Riolu crosses its arms quickly builds up energy then spreads out its arms sending out a big wind blade that goes everywhere. The blade easily destroys Ash's Riolus Vacuum Waves along with the clones, the blade heads for Ash's Riolu as Ash speaks.
"Riolu block!" Ash calls his Riolu quickly brings up its arms and begins to block the attack. The move pushes Riolu back a little bit until Riolu stops, roars, and spreads out its arms getting rid of the Vacuum Wave. When that happens Cameron's Riolu appears in front of Ash's and has its fists ready as Cameron speaks.
"Riolu use Close Combat!" "Riolu counter with Power Up Punch!" Both trainers call Cameron's Riolu goes to punch Ash's Riolu with its left fist while Ash's Riolu quickly covers its fists in orange energy, then collides with Cameron's Riolus left fist with its right fist. After that the two mons begin punching each other repeatedly with each punch doing more than the last. At first Cameron's Riolu had the upper hand but after Ash's Riolu landed a couple of hits with Power Up Punch its attack grew and began to overpower Cameron's Riolu. Cameron's Riolu tries to keep up but is unable to as Ash's Riolu punches it hard in the face with its right fist. Cameron's Riolu then stumbles back a little bit and is groaning in pain. Cameron's Riolu then looks forward and sees Ash's Riolu put its hands together as Ash speaks.
"Now Aura Sphere!" Ash calls surprising Cameron as he's unable to tell his Riolu to dodge. Ash's Riolu forms the sphere roars and fires it at Cameron's Riolu hitting the mon in the chest and creating an explosion as Cameron speaks.
"Riolu!" Cameron yells in worry as a few seconds later Cameron's Riolu flies out from the explosion and lands on its back a few feet away groaning in pain. Ash looks at his Riolu and speaks.
"Great job Riolu just a little bit more and we'll win!" Ash says with his Riolu nodding. Meanwhile on the other side of the battlefield Cameron looks at his Riolu and speaks.
"Come on Riolu you're not done yet I know you can win this I believe in you Riolu!" Cameron yells. Hearing its trainers cry Cameron's Riolu doesn't want to lose and wants to win this battle for its trainer as it yells.
"RIO!" Riolu lets out a mighty yell as it glows a bright white surprising everyone as Cameron speaks.
"Riolu's evolving!" Cameron says happily as everyone sees his Riolu grow taller and change. When the evolution stops what was once a Riolu is now a Lucario who lets out a mighty roar showcasing its power. Lucario then looks at Ash's Riolu who along with Ash have surprised looks on their faces as Cameron speaks.
"Congrats on evolving Lucario let's show off your new power use Aura Sphere!" Cameron calls Lucario, puts its hands together creates a blue sphere of fighting energy and sends it at Riolu as Ash speaks.
"Riolu quick block!" Ash calls Riolu recomposes itself, brings up its arms and begins to block the move. As Riolu's blocking, the Aura Sphere pushes the mon back as Ash speaks.
"Riolu move out of the way, run towards Lucario and use Power Up Punch!" Ash calls Riolu nods as she quickly moves to the left letting the Aura Sphere go pass her as it crashes into a nearby tree. Riolu then jumps towards Lucario, covers its right fist in orange energy and goes to punch the mon as Cameron speaks.
"Use Detect then Circle Throw!" Cameron calls Lucarios eye glows as it moves to the left easily evading Riolus punch. Lucario then grabs Riolu spins it around and throws it high in the air making Riolu spin out of control. Lucario then jumps after Riolu and reaches it instantly as Cameron speaks.
"Now use Close Combat!" "Riolu quick use Double Team!" Both trainers call Riolu's unable to use Double Team in time as Lucario begins punching/kicking Riolu repeatedly with each hit doing more than the last. Lucario then raises its hands and slams them hard on Riolus head sending the mon crashing down on the ground and creating a dust cloud as Ash speaks.
"Riolu!" Ash calls in worry as when the dust cloud clears everyone sees Riolu she's laying on her back groaning in pain. Riolu manages to stand back up then looks forward and sees Lucario landing safely on the battlefield as Cameron speaks.
"Your Riolu's tough Ash but we're ending this Lucario use Aura Sphere!" Cameron calls Lucario quickly charges up an Aura Sphere and fires it at Riolu as Ash speaks.
"Riolu counter with your Aura Sphere!" Ash calls Riolu also quickly charges up an Aura Sphere and shoots it forward as it collides with Lucarios Aura Sphere. The two balls of fighting energy begin pushing each other back and forth as Ash speaks.
"Hang in there Riolu!" "Pika!" Ash and Pikachu cheer as Riolu starts adding more power to its Aura Sphere making it stronger as it starts to push Lucarios back Cameron speaks.
"Come on Lucario you're not done yet use more power!" Cameron yells as Lucario roars and adds more power to its Aura Sphere. Lucarios Aura Sphere becomes stronger and starts to push Riolus back. Riolu doesn't give up, it keeps adding more power to its Aura Sphere but compared to Lucarios it isn't enough as Cameron speaks.
"Do it Lucario!" Cameron yells his Lucario roars as its Aura Sphere manages to destroy Riolus and hits the aura puppy creating an explosion as Ash yells.
"Riolu!" Ash yells in worry. A couple seconds later everyone sees Riolu appear out of the explosion. She flies a few feet away then lands on her back groaning in pain. Riolu tries to stand back up she wants to continue fighting and win the battle for her trainer. Riolu continues trying to stand up, but her body doesn't let her as she's too tired. Riolu then closes her eyes and lays down in defeat as Tracey speaks.
"Riolu's unable to battle Lucario is the winner seeing as Ash has no more Pokemon left this means that Cameron is the winner!" Tracey says as Cameron gets a big smile on his face and speaks.
"We did it! Great job Lucario and congrats again on evolving!" Cameron says as he runs on the battlefield and gives Lucario a hug with the mon returning it. Off to the side Misty, Leaf, Hau, and Barry are surprised by the results as Misty speaks.
"I can't believe it Riolu lost" Misty says as Leaf speaks.
"Before Cameron's Riolu evolved Ash's Riolu had the upper hand but after Cameron's Riolu evolved into Lucario it became stronger than Ash's Riolu" Leaf says with Misty nodding. Back on the battlefield Ash along with Pikachu are surprised, they then shake their heads and walk towards Riolu. When they make it, Ash picks up Riolu in his arms, Riolu opens her eyes looks at Ash and Pikachu then speaks.
"Rio" Riolu says telling them sorry as Ash speaks.
"It's okay Riolu you and everyone else did their best and next time we'll win" Ash says with Pikachu agreeing. Riolu nods but is still sad about the loss. After that Cameron along with his Lucario walk over when they get close enough Cameron looks at Ash and speaks.
"Man, that was a fun battle Ash" Cameron says as Ash speaks.
"I agree and I wasn't expecting your Riolu to evolve into Lucario" Ash says as Cameron speaks.
"Me neither but I'm happy that it happened because otherwise it would've lost" Cameron says with his Lucario nodding as Ash speaks.
"Well, you may've won this battle but next time we'll be much stronger and win" Ash says with Pikachu and Riolu agreeing. Cameron and Lucario smile as Cameron speaks.
"I look forward to it and we'll be stronger too" Cameron says with his Lucario agreeing. After that Ash and Cameron shake hands while Riolu and Lucario fist bump each other. Off to the side everyone has smiles on their faces. Once that's over Cameron along with Lucario leave as they head for Mikan Island, Barry heads over to Trovita Island, and Hau decides to stay on Kinkan island to train his Pokémon. As for the gang, after Ash heals his Pokémon at the Pokémon Center and calls Prof. Oak to switch out his Pokémon. The group go to the beach Ash sends out Lapras and the gang goes on its back as Lapras starts swimming to their next location. As Lapras continues to swim Ash speaks.
"Man, I'm exhausted" Ash says as Misty speaks.
"Well, you did have 3 4v4 battles in one day so it shouldn't be too surprising" Misty says with Ash nodding as he speaks.
"Yeah, that's true and all 3 of them were tough." Ash responds as he continues to speak.
"Nemona, Barry, Hau, and Cameron battling them made me realize that the Orange League isn't going to be a cake walk. But that makes me more excited to train hard and when I battle them again, I'll win right Pikachu?!" Ash says with Pikachu nodding in agreement as it sparks its cheeks. The group look at Ash and smile as Ash looks at Tracey and speaks.
"By the way Tracey how long until we get to Navel Island?" Ash asks as Tracey speaks.
"It should take us a few days to get there while riding on Lapras's back. Also, I was wondering if we can make a quick stop on Sunburst Island as I've heard that there's been a sighting of a Crystal Onix" Tracey says surprising the group as Leaf speaks.
"A Crystal Onix?! That sounds cool I want to see it!" Leaf says excited as Misty speaks.
"Me too!" Misty says with her Sobble, Quaxly, and Togepi agreeing as Ash speaks.
"I want to see it too as I've never seen a Crystal Onix before" Ash says making Tracey happy as he speaks.
"Thanks guys and it should take us about a day to get there" Tracey says making the group excited as Ash speaks.
"Alright we've our next destination Sunburst Island here we come!" Ash cheers along with everyone else as Lapras continues to swim forward the chapter comes to an end.
Thank you for reading if you've made it this far. Whew this was a long chapter to write, I originally didn't think that this chapter would be so long, but it makes since as 3 4v4 battles took place. Tell me how did you guys like Barry's, Hau's, and Cameron's introductions? I decided to introduce them here as it gives Ash more trainers to look out for and gives his Pokémon some rivals too. Also tell me how did you guys like the battles and which was your favorite.
Were you guys surprised that Crocalor and Rowlet evolved? I decided to evolve them here as I felt it was the right time to do it. Also, at first, I wasn't going to have Rowlet evolve but then I thought that Ash having a Dartrix would be cool, so I decided to evolve Rowlet. You guys are probably not happy that I had Cameron's Riolu evolve before Ash's. The reason I did that was because I wanted to reference the anime and also, I've another place where Riolu will evolve instead but it'll be in a much later chapter.
Next chapter will come out next week It'll focus on the gang reaching Sunburst Island and looking for the Crystal Onix. They'll also run into Team Snagem again too I hope you all look forward to it.
