Summary:
There are some forms of alien activity even MIK turns a blind eye to. The truly alien activity between Chupataro and Ohdo Yuhi, for instance.
Chapter 97: The Hat Came Back
"My beloved comrade, Chupataro! Even if it is just you, run away!"
"You still don't get it, chupa? You're such a stupid guy, chupa. Once we get to the blast furnace, you'll tremble in fear, chupa!"
"Just so you're aware, Ohdo Yuhi is here, vanas."
"Chupa?"
"He's where the blast furnace is, vanas."
"You can't be serious, cabra…"
"It's a cumbersome coincidence, but you must press onward if Zuwijo's plan is to proceed."
It was also cumbersome for Yuhi, due to him being pulled in two different directions: between confronting the cucumber-eating, Earthdamar-pinching Kawai Tell, or rescuing Valvelgear from a pit of fire.
"Chupaa! You knew he'd be here, didn't chu, chupa? He'll get in the way of torturing Yudias to tell Chupa what Earthdamar is, bra!"
"Or you enjoyed your first date with him, and don't want his opinion of you to be taken down a peg, vanas."
"Chupataro doesn't like him, chupa! Everything is for Meeeg-chan, chupa!"
Vanas rolled his eye. "If you want my opinion –"
"Chupa didn't ask for it, chupa!"
"Yuhi? Is that not Yuhi over there?" Yudias was so obtuse, he failed to register Chupataro's bad-faith actions or Chupataro's exchange with Vanas.
"Ah! Yudias?" Yuhi looked up to find the Velgearian trapped in Mutsuba Heavy Machinery Garbage Collection Site #8's metal claw. "Why're you there?"
"Chupa? You've picked a great time to show up, chupa!"
The Chapeau alien saw what came next. Chupataro pulled his hood on, knocking his pink casket hat – knocking Vanas – off his head.
Parasitic friendship: OVER!

"And so it's come to this, chupa. A Rush Duel of revenge between Chupa and Chupa's old roommate, chupa."
"Who was there when you had no one, vanas? You'd still be alone if it weren't for me!"
"You were getting annoying, always yakking in Chupa's ear, cabra!"
"And didn't my prediction come true, vanas? You're with Ohdo Yuhi now."
"Did Chupa come to be talked to death, chupa? Let's get this Duel on the road, chupa!"
"No. The person who will duel me isn't you. It's YOU there, on the catwalk, vanas!"
Somebody else is here, chupa?
"E-epo! I didn't see anything I shouldn't, epo!"
"Kamijo Ehoko? Why are you in a place like this, chupa?"
"It's Epoch, idiot!" Epoch trumpeted.
"She saw everything, vanas."
"I-I-I didn't, idiot!"
"The fifth heir to Kamijo Gear Company digs around in the trash, vanas. Pursuing the heirloom gear she threw out in error, before Alfred wises up to her."
"SHUT UP, epo!"
"Rush Duel!"
"Come again, chupa?"
"Rush Duel! My opponent isn't my former host Chupataro, but Kamijo Epoch, vanas!"
"I don't take orders from weird hats, but you're ticking me off, epo! Rush Duel! Pu-puku-pu!"
Chupataro swallowed.
"Kamijo Epoch!"
"Vanas, of the Worn!"
"GO RUSH!"
"My turn, epo! Draw! I set two monsters, and summon Snipe Stalker!" (Level 4 DARK Demon/Effect ATK 1500 DEF 600)
Cliiiiliiiiiickckckck! clicked the purple imp's roulette.
"I set two cards! Turn end, epo!"
"My turn! Draw!" Vanas conducted his draw with a thin, fibrous tentacle. "I see you set two Dice Angels and two Demon's Dice, vanas."
"E-epo? How'd you –?"
"Vanas is a Chapeau alien, chupa! He can see into the near future, cabra!"
"Dice Angel's ATK and DEF are 0 and 600. Snipe Stalker's ATK is 1500, and destroys cards on the opponent's field up to the number of times you roll anything other than a 1 or 6 for every card you send to the Graveyard to activate its effect. Usually, it's a frightening effect, but…I don't have any cards for you to destroy yet, vanas."
"I know that, idiot!"
"With your face-downs, you're gambling I'll summon monsters to attack, and you'll activate your set Demon's Dice to lower my monsters' ATK to have a chance at dealing me damage and destroying my monsters depending on which monster I attack."
"Y-you cheater!" Epoch had lived too boxed-in a life to wrap her head around the irony of her finger-pointing.
"I summon The Bewitching Phantom Thief, and release, vanas! A wide brim hides a character controlled by a horrible power! Advance Summon! Shape Snatch!"
"Ha HA!" the green-hatted, one-eyed gentleman enthralled by his bow tie cackled unsettlingly. (Level 5 DARK Machine/Normal ATK 1200 DEF 1700)
"I activate the Magic Card, Ancient Rule! I Special Summon it from my hand, vanas! My second Shape Snatch!"
"Heehee heh heh!" (Level 5 DARK Machine/Normal ATK 1200 DEF 1700)
"Shape Snatch can't outbattle Snipe Stalker, and trades equally with Dice Angel's DEF after Demon's Dice's decrease. I set a card and end my turn, vanas."
"My turn, epo! Draw! I release my two set monsters! Advance Summon! Win or lose, roll your way to victory wielding your sword of dice! Spin out! Dice Archswordsman!" (Level 7 EARTH Warrior/Effect ATK 600 DEF 2400)
"Not activating Snipe Stalker's effect, vanas?" Vanas didn't blink. "Hard not rolling only a 6?"
"It isn't like that, epo!"
It was exactly like that.
"I summon Dicekey Minna!" (Level 4 LIGHT Angel/Effect ATK 1200 DEF 0)
"It's a new monster, chupa!"
"When I control a dice card, I send the top card of my Deck to the Graveyard to activate Dicekey Minna's effect! My monsters' ATK go up by 600 until the end of your turn! Then I can add an Angel-Type monster with 300 ATK and 1200 DEF from my Graveyard to my hand!"

"I add the Dicekey Caramail I sent to the Graveyard for Minna's effect to my hand, and send another dice card from my hand to the Graveyard to equip Dice Greatsword!" Epoch rolled herself a 6. "Pu-puku-pu! Dice Archswordsman gains another 600 ATK!"
Dice Archswordsman (ATK 1200 ↑ ATK 1800)
"I won't let you use Dice Archswordsman's effect to give him six attacks, vanas! Trap Card, Amanojaku's Funny Hat! During the turn you summon two or more monsters, I can activate this card! For the rest of the turn, you can't summon any more monsters, and the ATK points of all monsters on the field return to their original values!"
