Order's base

Being a leader was hard work. For one, there's paperwork. Most hated thing: paperwork. Not that I could complain. Paperwork and I have crossed paths in my many, many years. Then of course, as a leader, you need to be the responsible one and break up all the fighting. When I say fighting, I mean men brawling and showing off so I had to personally go down and break it up. Raya was staring in bemusement at the two men wrestling each other like sumo wrestlers. She had her arms and legs crossed, leaning against a wall. Raya wasn't someone you wanted to mess with. Still, if you ever need someone to train you, she isn't afraid to rough things up.

"Castellan." She made a two-finger salute as I descended the stairs. I grunted in reply but she followed me as I grabbed the two men by their collar, pulling them apart. Even before as a demigod I hated mortal mercenaries. But, the only bright side is that Order uses them because she can't get any demigods. No demigod would betray their planet. No one but you. Technically not betraying if I plan on betraying Order later on.

"You gonna ignore little ol' me? I'm hurt." She snorted sarcastically. Reminds me of Percy. That mouth of hers that landed us in trouble as soon as she opened it but gave the best compliments and is a very skilful kisser.

I knocked them out with the flat of my knife, giving her an exasperated look. "We saw each other at breakfast. When you were drooling over Sera."

Her pale complexion made it easy to spot the blush. "I was not! And no going there! You don't have someone I can tease you about!"

"Sucks to be you." I turned to everyone else watching. "Drop twenty! Run ten!" When I say drop, it means twenty push ups all while wearing a weight that is about 20 tonnes. When I say run, it means run ten rounds around the base. So you multiply those numbers. 20x20 is 400. 10x10 is 100. Was I insane? To them, probably. To Percy, I was letting them go too easy for slacking. She does ten times that for her morning routine and can finish it in 2 hours max. I mean, technically. We lived on Chaon, which meant two hours was like… five on Earth. These guys needed twice that with breaks in between.

Raya's tongue slipped out, licking her lips. I could tell why. Seraphina just came down from her sector's commander's office. She was dressed in her battle armour, decorated with dragon scales to make it harder to penetrate. But it also made it hard to camouflage. Her blue hair with silver streaks did not help. "Luke! Rara!" She approached us at top speed and Raya intercepted her, causing them to almost slam into me. Seraphina did not know how to ever stop. "Stop calling me Rara!" Raya said in between giggles.

Did I tell you about them? Raya is from Uranus.

Parents: unknown.

Land: unknown.

Title: Commander of Uranus Sector (I know. But Order loves to copy her siblings)

Relationship: (she would kill me before I put anything down here)

Crushes: uncountable

Reason: insanely gorgeous. She gained all the good stuff from Uranus.

I love Percy, and I would never, ever look at another woman. But it doesn't mean I was blind. She had some kind of scar remover so that no scar would ever last more than a day. She always had on light coloured clothings because, and I quote, they were 'too bold for me, makes my eyes hurt.' Her eyes were like two crystals glittering in the sun. Two stunning sapphires with a ring (like Saturn's rings) made of diamond in her irises. They weren't real diamonds, but they certainly looked like it And her hair. Don't get me started on her hair. It's white but at the end, it slowly becomes light blue. She always likes to decorate them with star and moon decorations. I don't know how, but sometimes she has tiaras and crowns made of pure moonlight. She's a princess. A princess from a flourishing kingdom. But that's all I know.

Sera on the other hand is from Mercury.

Parents: dead

Land: Dilxan, Mercury

Title: Commander of Mercury Sector

Relationship: none known to public

Crushes: none known to public

Reason: Raya brutally tortured and killed the last crush who made himself known. As Sera called it, she was hot.

Sera is also stunning, no doubt. She has beautiful navy blue hair that had silver streaks in them, often tied up in a bun although sometimes wears it hanging for Raya to admire. (Honestly, the two are so sappy, it reminds me of Percy and me) Her eyes are of a grey colour. However, she wasn't as interested in fashion as Raya was.

"Hey, Luke!" She greeted, eyes shining. "Fancy seeing you here. At this time, you're still in the training arena."

"Unfortunately, your girlfriend refuses to give me a break." I shot a glare at Raya who grumbled that she wasn't Sera's girlfriend. Who would believe that? "I had to separate a fight."

"Human mercenaries." Raya grumbled. "Useless. Weak-minded. Disgusting." I agree. The Titans overlooked me, now so does Order. Hey, I wasn't going to complain. The faster these guys die, the less work I'll have to do.

Sera slipped her hand into Raya's. "Come on, you big complainer. You can talk after the day's over."

The day was finally over. I laid down on my bed, exhausted. I spent the whole day just training. Also trying to figure out how to get into Order's office without her knowing but she didn't need to know.

Just then, there was a knock. I rolled to my side, slowly getting up. "Go away, Commander Jupiter." Like hell he listened.

Adrian walked up to me, dared to smile warmly like we were friends, and clasped his hand on my shoulder. "Hey, buzzkill." I didn't bother correcting him. He never cared, because he was jealous. In another life, maybe we could've been friends. He wasn't that bad, even if he came from Planet Jupiter and had the same kind of ego as said god. Many liked him. Others feared him. I was indifferent. I didn't care. I never did. My mission was nearly complete. I didn't need some jealous monster to get in my way.

"What do you what, Commander Jupiter?" I guess you could say I'm moody. I certainly dress like it. But I'm not. Just overworked. Tired, exhausted even. And I just want to sleep. Maybe forever. Why not? I was supposed to. My heart clenched as I thought that. We were two halves, we banished each other's dark thoughts. And without her, they just came back. It hurts, but it was worth it. I sighed, pushing back all the thoughts. You never knew where a telepath was hiding. I could sense if their presence entered me, having trained with her, but you never knew.

Many commanders were telepathic, including Raya. And she would kill me if she knew I had these kinds of thoughts.

"Nothing really, Commander Earth." He smirked.

"Then why are you here? Thought you said you would die before coming. Or did you already die and I suddenly have the power to talk to ghosts?" Only Nico could do it. I wasn't envious. Ghosts were too inquisitive. It was in their nature. But it sure gave Hades a headache.

"Order called for you, buzzkill." Just because I was moody, didn't mean I ruined all the fun. Adrian's just mad I wouldn't allow him to do anything beyond Order's orders. Which includes no raping our prisoners. It also didn't help that I stabbed him multiple times because he still tried to do it. The army calls me the 'Golde Boy' because apparently attacking another comrade is punishable for death but Order dismisses any concern when it comes to me. An amazing thing if you consider things.

I got up, accidentally on purpose using the wind element to knock him off his feet. "The fuck!" He spat as he landed. I may not like the blessing, but I couldn't help admit that aerokinesis was especially useful at moments like this. "My bad." I shrugged nonchalantly before walking out. My face showed what everyone wanted to see. A dead family member, an ex, anyone. It was to soften their defenses, as Order had ordered me to practice. Order, order. Hah.

Speaking of her, she was waiting for me as I came into her throne room.

"Luke." She said, more like purred. I was always a favourite of hers. My powers were stronger than nearly all the commanders. Add my fighting skills, I could win Order. Sometimes. She's predictable, unlike Chaos. That's her only flaw. She wanted everything to go by her rule. Her orders. Everything must be, as she says, in order. Just like her fighting skills, they have the same steps.

"My lady." I took two steps forward and sank to one knee. Her light blonde hair, so similar to Annie's, cascaded over her neck, swaying as she walked closer. "Now, now, what have I said? Stop calling me that in private. It wouldn't do well for my future husband now would it?" I wanted to hurl. She liked me for my skills, my powers, my looks. But what she lusts for most was my intelligence. I didn't even like her. I couldn't. Does it stop her even though I have not encouraged her speech? No. This wasn't the only time she hinted at it. I pretended to be dense. I just couldn't. Not while Percy was somewhere in this world, fighting to be back with me. We were just two halves, yearning to be with each other. I would give up everything, if only we could have a normal life. But we can't. And this was the best I could do to keep her away from unnecessary danger.

"Of course. Whoever that man is, I'm sure he will be very lucky. Did you need me, my lady?"

A look of anger and frustration crossed her face, I'm sure. Nonetheless, she cleared her throat. "Oh, yes, Luke. You'll love the news."

I kept my head down. Anything to keep her eyes away.

"I've considered your request for vengeance against the demigods who wronged you. And I have decided to forward it. The army is preparing for Earth as we speak."

Percy would be ecstatic. I was careful not to lower my mental shields as I thought that. Anything to stop Order from realising which side I'm on.

"Thank you, my lady."

"Come on, Luke. You know I would do anything for you."

Anything to make me your husband, that's for sure. It was so disgusting it became funny.

"I've made sure my brother has also heard the news. The revived demigods are sure to be there to protect their homeland. And soon, my dear, you'll be able to enact your revenge."

"Thank you, my lady, for doing this."

"The change wasn't anything preposterous. Jupiter and Earth are very much alike. It was of little trouble to me."

I could barely keep the smile off me.

"I shall go and prepare then."

"Of course." I raised my head to see she had narrowed her eyes. "As the demigod who has the most experience with the Gods and the demigods from Earth, you are important to my plans. Be prepared to reveal your identity, Luke. I want to hear their screams of horror and indignation." That would be the worst-case scenario. My mind was already whirling, thinking of reasons to convince her why that wasn't a good idea. It would leave me exposed. After the war, I just wanted to fade into the background. Not deal with the drama.

"Of course, my lady."

"Good. You're dismissed."

I got up and walked to the door.

Upon reaching my door, I created a flare of fire roses, sending them to Percy. Telling her I wouldn't miss our anniversary again. Not like the past 338 years. And it wouldn't be in our dreams this time. After so long, we could finally meet face to face. That alone brought a smile to my lips.

Unknown place

This discovery could be astronomical. It may just help Jupiter with its asteroid problem. Maybe. I'm praying it does.

Carefully, I squeezed the dropper, hastily stopping when one drop fell. The liquid in the beaker turned orange and a puff of smoke blew in my face. I coughed, waving it away.

"What did you do this time?" I turned to the source of the voice, brightening immediately.

"My lady." I placed down my equipment, running to give her a hug. "You don't usually disappear for more than a year. This place was so boring without you." I pouted, knowing what it does to her.

She returned the hug before wandering to our workbench. "Instant vapourisation?" She inquired, dipping a finger into the orange mixture. "Clever."

I smiled, flipping through one of the many books she brought back with her. "No way. Is this the last book of the trilogy? I've been waiting for so long for this!"

"As soon as I saw it, I was reminded of you." She said, grinning. "Wanna have a read-a-thon before bedtime later?"

"You know it." I said, grabbing another one. "A limited edition? You spoil me."

"Anything for you, dear sister." She looked through our shared diary where I documented the newest potion's information. "Say, did you hear what happened with Chaos?"

"I never bother about that news anymore." I laughed. "The Universe's fate doesn't bother us. You keep us safe."

She did. For centuries, she has kept us safe. I never have to go out into the Universe. Lonely? Maybe. It doesn't bother me though. I can leave when I want. I just choose not to. My twin knows how to contact me when she needs me or wants to spend time with me, her boyfriend was the one to set up the communication link. They can visit me whenever, although it is a little tricky. Time here and on other planets aren't the same so usually it's me who goes to them. Usually on my birthday. I love my life. Rarely, she would leave, like just now. As long as I had my lady, my life was perfect. I didn't have to worry about being hated by everyone I love because some deity was jealous of me. With just my lady, my twin, and her boyfriend (who happens to be the only male that is in my inner circle) I am not afraid because they are beyond most deities. I could do whatever I want without judgment. With how evolved the world is, that's hard to come by and I cherish every moment I have. That actually means something as an immortal.

She hummed, absently combing my hair to one shoulder. "Maybe add some Venus lava." She said thoughtfully. "That might make it stronger."

I considered her words. "Doesn't hurt to try. We still got some?"

"Back shelf."

I teleported the bottle to my hand, ladling some by using a spoon made of Chaos metal. "So," I said, careful to ensure not a single drop fell. "Does whatever is going on have to do with what she's been telling me about? The one where she needs such a big order of poisons?"

"Possibly." She teased. "Order has arisen from her prison."

I faltered. "They just realized that? Is the pendant really that powerful?"

"Yes. Of course the pendant is that powerful." She chided. "Merged with the powers of the Firsts, it isn't just some pendant, it is one of the most powerful artifacts in the Universe."

"As you always say." I laughed. "So, any updates? Is that why you left?"

"My brother wanted to consult me about what we should do." She said simply. "I told him like I always do. We protect our homes. He wasn't very happy with my answer."

"Best not to get involved in the war with Order. She's a bitch."

"I agree."

We worked in silence. I stewed on the information. Order's back. Can't say I'm too surprised.

Short Chap this time. The last part? It's there but like, there's no point reading it and questioning what's going on because you're not seeing this mysterious person for the longest time.
