Imperial Palace, Sadera

Imperial Calendar 687

"Your Majesty" The man spoke as the Emperor listened from the seat of his throne

"The Allied Army of both gates has suffered a major defeat. The dead and missing have reached 100,000." The Emperor listened as Marquis Marcus spoke

"The armies of the first Gate have left the army dismantled as most have turned to banditry after the defeat while the armies of the second gate had been destroyed." The Emperor remained unfazed as this outcome had come to his expectation

"Just as expected." He then spoke without slight concern

"However your Majesty, the movement of the enemies from beyond the Gate is worrying." Marquis Marcus voiced

"Although one of the enemies is farther which would be of a priority than the one's Alnus however it appears both enemies possess similar magical prowess."

"Hmm, are you growing paranoid?" He then asked eyeing the Marquis who appeared to worry about the circumstances

"I was born with this paranoia of mine. I will never attain such magnanimity as Your Majesty."

"So be it. In that case, I shall leave these worries to my trusted retainer." The emperor waved off his worries

"This problem should not be worried as it is, the distance the enemies are far from the Sadera. Actions should be taken to use the Empire's extensive territory as a rampart."

He then continued "If the enemies started moving their pawns, then cities and villages that led up to the Empire shall be burned down, the wells poisoned and the food seized till the last grain of wheat." He spouted

"This scorched earth would not allow the enemy army to obtain supplies or occupy the lands thus halting their advancement. With this, no matter how strong their army or their mages are, it would allow for a chance for them to stand still which would soon give us an opening to find weaknesses." The Emperor began to anticipate

If there are supplies to forage, the enemy's fighting potential will decrease as they approach the city, providing the Empire's troops an advantage in the battle. If they were fortified in multiple spots, the enemies would bleed and eventually disintegrate under pressure. Such was the foundation of military strategy. Force the adversaries to march deep into their area and attack them when they are vulnerable. Without a question.

"But Your Majesty, wouldn't this decrease the tax revenue, not to mention the cost of destroying the land on which our people lived." The Emperor expected such an articulation from his right-hand man

although effective this strategy would convert their own lands into crisps. Such actions ignored the people's livelihoods by depriving them of food and water, and their support would be lost. As a result, citizens would harbor long-term anger against the government.

The emperor only said "Hmph. We are to cancel spending on a few planned parties and postpone the plans for the imperial villa and might have to alter various policies to keep up with the spending of this war."

"Your Majesty I wonder of Marquis Casel, do you consider of his obstruction?" The emperor then raised a brow as he questioned his retainer

"Why do you concern yourself with Marquis Casel?"

"Amidst all these things to fear, it is apparent that in he as well some of the senators are conspiring to declare a state of emergency counsel." This could be a nuisance the emperor thought

Although being the leader of the empire, the senate had power within leadership, the Senate's counsel could have the ability to veto the orders from the emperor. The Senate has as the ultimate repository for his power, as the emperor's council, and as a deliberative body working with the people of the Sadera.

"Hmph, how interesting. Let them do as they please, order the Privy Council to look into this matter." Marcus had a surprised look on his face for a moment, but he still bowed properly to the Emperor.

"It seems like many have taken the privilege of being a Senator for granted. Looks like it's time to remove the weeds." Marquis Marcus bowed his head respectfully.

But then, a voice as clear as a bell broke through the peaceful air of the palace.

"Your Majesty!"

They both turned to the person who appeared before the emperor, in front was the princess, in other words, one of the emperor's daughters.

"What's the matter, Prince Pina Co Lada?" He asked although not showing his disinterest in his daughter

"Just has Your Majesty done to curb this problem while our country is in a critical condition? Have you succumbed to senility?"Emperor Molt smiled bitterly as he looked at the sharp disrespect of the princess

"Your Highness, what urgent matters do you have to barge into the chambers of His Majesty?" Marcus alarmingly asked towards her rashed approach while he watched slightly intrigued in next her actions

"Concerning the enemies occupying Alnus Hill and West of the Empire. It seems that to this day both regions are under their control. I couldn't imagine that your Majesty would still sit with such a relaxed posture after hearing what happened to the Allied Army. Marquis, have you reported the facts to His Majesty?" She asked the Marquis

"Of course, I certainly did give the report. The Alliance Army did suffer heavy losses, but they defended bravely against the enemy's invasion of the Falmat Continent. Thanks to the courageous Allied Arme, the enemy received both physical and psychological damage and shivered in fear as they built strong forts in panic, hiding within like hibernating bears. Such enemies are no threat to us at all." After hearing Marquis Marcus's words, Pina showed no belief in his words

"You Snake! Isn't the enemy still wreaking havoc in the empire? Did they defend successfully? The truth is that the foot of the hill is filled with corpses." She yelled at the man

"Have you not mentioned the men captured by the enemy or the others that were mercilessly killed leaving little to no survivors with only a few returning with wounds and missing limbs? What are we going to do about this?" Marquis Marcus acts oblivious demeanor in an attempt to ease the Princess

"Not to worry your Highness, as of now the enemy would be halted for further advancement while we rebuild our strength an-" He was then interrupted

"How many years do you think it will take? Could you ensure that the enemies of Alnus Hill sit idly?"

"Your Highness. I am aware of that and we are currently, doing all we can do to step up recruiting, training, and rebuilding the army. Even the vassal states have lost their troops. Even if another Army was formed, the time needed for it to become a reality would be proportional to the national strength. Even if the other countries reconstructed their armies later than us, they will catch up sooner or later." Hearing this, Piña exclaimed astonishingly

"It would be impossible to defend against the invaders if we wait that long!" After hearing more of this while sighing, Emperor Molt held up his hand to stop their further bickering.

As he always observed, Piña tended to cause unrest, always criticizing but had no constructive suggestions. Even if they had made suggestions, it was all an unrealistic approach that disrespected the tradition of most.

The resigned emperor shrugged and said to his daughter. "If you put it this way Piña, I have something to say."

"Yes, Your Majesty?" She turned her attention to her father

"Regarding the enemies of Alnus Hill, what information we have on our hands now is very limited. Why don't you go and investigate the regions and provide support to our men?" She then stared eyes wide not expecting such a response

"Me?"

"Yes. We are rebuilding the army as we speak, so we are lacking scouts and can't draw them from our standing army. So it would be a perfect opportunity for your Order of Knights for this journey" The Emperor gazed at his daughter she then shut quietly as he continued

"Well then. Do you accept this order?" Piña raised her head and gave a determined look

"I will comply, then I will be going Father" After she said those proud words Emperor Molt responded ceremoniously.

"Then I shall look forward to your achievements."

"Well then, Father. I shall be on my way."

With that, Pina Co Lada turned her back to the throne as she left the hall. The Emperor then pondered on what would happen if should she proceed with this deadly expedition, He knows of the naive and rash viewpoint of his daughter, she has yet to show any honorable success as the princess as of many years in life on the throne of which she was placed in the empire but nevertheless, the mission he has sent her is nothing more than a scouting mission.

So the emperor would continue his role in maintaining the prestige of his empire, even at a major loss he would not back down as he would continue to fight even if it took most of the men in the Empire should it lead to success and glory they would achieve.

MOB Astana, Falmart

10:11 AM, October 1, 2027

It has been two months since they established the joint military base within Falmart, and for a short time, they could expand heavily. During their progress in Falmart, they have gathered 30,000 soldiers as of yet. This Allied Army currently consists of US, Chinese, and Kazakh Forces, with two former making up the majority of the Forces.

Within two months, vital buildings were constructed, such as Cold Fusion Plants, Supply Centers, War Factories, Airbases, and Strategy Centers in addition to these establishments, recent approval was given to the construction of a launch site to make use of satellites in the parallel world. Further expansions are planned as the base would soon hold more Troops for the incoming Coalition Force that would soon provide the manpower for a full-scale invasion of the Empire.

This operation is led by the United States and China as they take command of the operation against the empire. Within two months they were able to occupy most of the territory of the regions they settled located around the west of the continent. This was easily done as they were able to successfully defeat most of the Empire's forces as well as their allies leaving the continent without an army, however, this vacuum was replaced as banditry soured in the regions as stated by intel gathered from recons.

Most reports as of yet from many recon forces are incidents mostly encountered from bandits in the region which are recently formed from the disbanded army that they recently fought two months back. With most of these encounters, many troops were returned without casualties with an exceptional few all consisting of wounded without death as they were unlucky faced up against magicians, or native creatures of this world. Most of these casualties weren't critical much to their expectation when encountering unknown forces but it was better than they had anticipated

From the Command Center, the Supreme Allied Commander sat at the office at his table he looked towards various intel at hand. From what information gathered so far the empire has been significantly weakened from their invasion of the 'Gate' as they now called it. Reports from captured imperial troops stated that the empire had lost more than 60% of its force from the first attack with its remaining army standing by the capital on its defense.

Most of the empire's attempts at defense have been fruitless with most of their act being of scorch policies as village farms, and many of the empire's agriculture were destroyed in the attempt to halt their advances, unfortunately, these efforts were useless against them. As of now intel of the second gate remained much of an enigma on the General. Many of the imperial men claimed the second Gate which they claimed to be in the regions known as Alnus stated to possess magic similar to ours.

Description such as magic wands, horseless carriages, iron elephants, and flying pegasus perfectly describe the modern army from their perspective, then this second gate must have appeared at one of their nations in their world however much to their confusion there have been no sightings or word of a second gate appearing in their side. The whole world was tensed in searching for the second but no result much to their expectations

They first believe that this second gate must have been under the control of a GLA cell somewhere within Africa however it contradicted as more details were gathered from the prisoners, with them claiming that soldiers wore closely similar outfits to ours but were lighter in comparison as well as green which they describe its appearance of a color of a forest.

This information continued to hound their thoughts although the description of green outfits does little to narrow down the specific details of the men due to the commonality of the camo scheme this clue could already give them hints to most of the nation with these specific uniforms as many countries around the world wore similar colored outfits. Many believe that a nation is currently hiding the gate with most suspecting the Russian Federation who denies the claim but they disagree however believing it to be impossible or difficult to hide a structure such as the Gate.

The only option in finding the truth of this second Gate is to send troops toward the Alnus Regions. However due to the distance between them, they are about 2000km distance from the regions so to fill up the quotas they have to set their controls to reach closer to Alnus fortunately for them a few months ago they captured a key leader of an allied kingdom, when taking him prisoner they have an opportunity to form a peaceful settlement with this cooperation they have a chance in furthering their goals in defeating the empire.

Most of the interrogation they had gathered from the king it seemed that the allied kingdoms were sent to attack them and the second gate in the attempts to reclaim them but with the inquiry of the king it seems that this failed offensive was already anticipated by their emperor. During interrogation, they claimed that they were sent with the assurance of imperial troops to reinforce their offensive however during the hours of their offensive no sighting or word of their reinforcements, it seems that the allied armies were nothing more than meat to be sent to the grinder.

Although they had defeated the offensive of half of the army of the vassal kingdoms, however according to further intel of the other half of the army they too had been defeated but instead more had survived in their defeat which most had turned to banditry as they had cause instability on most of the regions. Some of these bandits were captured during encounters by their patrols.

Currently, it is clear to them that their defeat has already opened instability within Imperial Territories. This was advantageous in their war against the empire nevertheless, it would in the short term be problematic if things devolved into anarchy long term. Even if this invasion was for the sole purpose of defeating invaders of an allied nation however the Gate and this Otherworld still hold unnatural levels of new development and discovery

This is a New World they are currently conducting a military operation something that is unnatural and is currently causing massive shock back home which is an understatement, to say the least. Furthermore, further interest in this other world leads to greater potential discoveries, it is already open to the public clear information about otherworldly beings, with many of the public especially scientific organizations head over heels in wanting to explore this world

Many of the public have adhered to their interest whether supporting or opposing views of the Gate, the majority has begun to demand access to this world, although they are not against it, with the current situation at hand in the opinion of more rational individuals that this action is dangerous until they could solve the problem. This world is still unknown to many and it is in their right mind to prevent any unnecessary action that would cause risk to the public.

There are critics and opposition from many sides of the public, some claim that we are monopolizing access to the gate due to most of the forces only consisting of the US, Chinese, and the Kazaks although this was easily refuted due to statements of plans of allowing further international access to all nation to the gate.

They are criticisms of possible human rights violations on the otherworld with some claiming that prisoners being sent to be experimented on by government facilities however even if these claims were denied many are still unsure of what happened to most of the captured prisoners as it remained mostly classified as even the generals and other high ranking officers not knowing of what could happen behind doors.

On top of that, and with most agreeing on this assessment, many believe that this otherworld's future ambitions will usher in a new period of imperialism and colonization. Due to this discovery and plans for this operation, there are strong criticisms from many that accessing the other can open possibilities of the exploitation of the world due to its massive untapped land of resources, it is clear to many that opportunity could be taken by many to use it to benefit themselves.

Unlike many criticism, this however has been agreed by many with some demanding further supervision or public information of the Gate, some saying to restrict actions that are deemed to 'extreme', and others claiming to allow full access of the gate, and with few radicals claimed to either withdraw all troops, and operations from Falmart, or unrealistically destroy the Gate.

Even with all these opinions from the public, the PR is, however, trying its best to de-escalate it as much as possible, while operations are to be conducted in the gate, focusing on these matters they first would need to defeat the Empire and bring the aggressors to justice, they still would need to form a more neutral or friendly opinion from the locals to prevent any between them and the civilians, fortunately, they already began these attempts as encounters from patrols had began to display cordial terms with some of them although with many very skeptical it is of interest to not causing any likely problems in the future.

Plans of reinstalling the king to his kingdom although with agreements of a peaceful resolve in a nonaggression as well as allowing access to further their operations. Their current agendas on their way to the invasion of the capital are to secure the regions and keep things stable, as well as find out the mystery of the Second Gate and its forces. It won't be simple from their usual actions but this is an unorthodox operation they are conducting so it is best to adapt, until then they will wait and see.

Colonel Burton currently roamed on the base as he performed his duties, he observed the gate as men moved in and out and he could see that supply trucks were currently moving supplies through it then led to the supply centers which would be processed and distributed at the base furthering their logistics in the process. Most of this supply consists of Food, Weapons, and Ammunition as well as materials for construction assembly and organization of buildings, vehicles, and artillery.

As he passed around the base he observed as many soldiers performing their duties or doing other activities at the side. Passing and greeting the on-duty guards, men training at the shooting range, or enjoying their leisure time when not working. Most of these men were sent in the line of duty for their nation as most are currently far from home to combat an invading force in their world.

He cared deeply for his men and respected the allies who fought with him in his combat during the war on terror. Most believe after this war that men from the armed forces could rest after eight years of exhaustion from fighting. Now they are facing an unusual army that came straight from fantasy fiction, they know how this is even possible for many but they cannot ignore that these men attacked them not long after their war has ended as now they have to face another farther from even their world.

After wandering and managing around the base he then proceeds to the command center as he is scheduled to have further discussions with the General. Further actions are to be planned to extend their reach toward the Imperial Capital. Currently, they are progressively moving through the Empire's extended territory, they have set up various outposts to allow the continuation of their expedition.

Later he arrived at the Command Center as he entered he proceeded to the office of the General as he then knock

"Come in" He heard the voice of the General as he entered the office

"General" Burton greeted the General

"Ah Colonel take a sit will you." He greeted back as he gestured for him to sit "So I presume things are going well at your end. So how's the royal prisoner going?"

"We have already set up agreeable terms a few months back we have already sent a message to Alguna that we agreed to return their king in exchange for a possible peace settlement in the future"

"Any problems I might know?" He raised a brow questioningly

"Not much when we arrive they are very unease knowing that we are the expected enemy however we deescalate before they try to skewer us with ballista" He slightly chuckled

"I saw what happened through drone footage but judging how it looks it appears they are short on manpower from the appearance of those guards they seem to be fresh from the ballot as well as some damaged areas it seems they were recently fighting

"It's no stranger that most of the Empire is in a weakened position as clear as you were informed within these past two months." The General Commented "We have occupied most of these western regions, with various outposts and areas we occupy we are closing in to the capital"

"Speaking of regions any reports that I should know?" He then asked about the status of the occupied areas

"We mostly attempt to create a friendly face when recon units enter villages however it seems the village wasn't welcome as expected although they're too afraid to try anything." Colonel Burton reported, "Although it not because we are an invading it's mostly because of recent problems caused by Imperial Soldiers."

"Yes, their scorch earth tactics it's not hard to see judging by burning farms and taking livestock and grain we found." The General stated "We can use this as our opportunity to improve the native's opinion."

"It is already that the UN would send humanitarian aid however we still to secure areas as there are still threats of banditry and monsters in many of the areas around." Said Burton "The Chinese have already set up various outposts and camps to assist in securing and provide quick response when there would an attack."

"Well, the Peacekeepers are already trained enough to handle a few attacks here and there until somehow dragons appear." The General stated, "But we have stretched our reach in these regions I am sure they can handle a few minor problems and with Chinese forces in the scene they repel most of them."

"Furthermore building friendly relations and stability with the natives is the best way to not have any unrest or future problems once we are done we defeat the empire."

"Do we have enough forces to occupy the whole imperial territory?" The Colonel asked as he continued "Most of the forces are still occupying most of the Middle East and Central Asia and most of our forces here are from soldiers are Kazakhstan as you know as well as the Chinese."

"Most of our key allies are still unwilling the forces to spare troops with the EU still worried about their national security due to the economic domestic and political crisis they are facing. UK and France are willing to send some forces however they are deliberating for approval." The General Informed Burton

"Moving on we have already reached far enough closer to the Empire we still need to discuss key locations of interest." Said the General as Burton agreed to the expected discussion he pulled out a map of the area "First, we have Rondell to discuss this a major city within the empire, home to mages of Walmart

"If this city is where mages are trained shouldn't be of concern of this city to which mages would be recruited to the empire?" The Colonel then asked

"Not necessarily it is stated that Rondell has little to no affiliation with the empire most of the mages that were recruited are mostly a minor portion in population from Rondell so foremost this city would be considered neutral at most, although in the future we are to establish a nonaggressive negotiation to avoid tension with people that might cause raining flames.

"Not that would be a nightmare to deal with." The Colonel laughingly commented

"Next we have Italica a trading city and one of the Empire's most important agricultural areas, and is governed by their leader Countess Formal however word has gone by that he went missing as he partake in the invasion of the second Gate at the Alnus Region. Due to its strategic importance as a large trading hub to take control." He pointed out to the Colonel "We already have forces doing reconnaissance in the area it appears there been recent scorched earth and banditry activity outside the city."

Colonel then followed up "We have Charlie Company stationed in one of the outposts and they are the ones conducting reconnaissance so soon we might order an attack on the city but judging by the recent reports of scouting of drones it appears that they are weakened as well as the rest of the empire."

"The Likelihood of them surrendering is high so it would be best to attempt to coerce them for a more peaceful solution unless they are as bloodthirsty as the rest of the empire." The General speculated

"Now lastly, there is the mystery of Alnus" He pointed toward the region

"It has already been known that this region is currently controlled by the unknown force of the second gate for a while." Said Burton

"We still do not know who this man but I have been theorized that this gate could be of three possibilities. A. This region could be controlled by a GLA force who might have gained control of the gate hidden somewhere within their control, B. This gate could be controlled by a nation trying to keep the gate hidden for unknown or malicious agendas or, C. The Gate could be controlled by a nation of another separate parallel world."

"Which is more likely General?" Burton asked as the General placed his hand on his chin in thought

"it has been said they possess the same weapons as ours from many of the prisoners. We have been scouring most of the globe with orbital assets but no results, if this second appeared how can a nation even hide a structure this large how can they move large forces through a gateway without us noticing maybe I presume it may lead to a third world." This Colonel then thought of the situation as the General continued

"So it is of great importance that we learn of this mysterious force, so I implore that we are to encounter these forces from Alnus, soon we are to send reconnaissance sometime in the future, we are to meet then in a nonaggressive contact and if they show the tendency of aggression then it should immediately retaliate is that clear?"

"Yes, General" Their conversation ended as Colonel made his way to the exit of his office

Outskirt of Italica, Falmart

1:41 PM, October 4, 2027

Charlie 2 continued its reconnaissance from north of Alnus, near the city of Italica. They were sent to the area to do reconnaissance, as the city was most likely their next objective to control. Before they can attack the city, they must first gather good intelligence about the surrounding surroundings. They established an outpost not far from the city where their company dwells, as well as numerous platoons surveying the entire region.

Sergeant Tannen observed from his rugged tablet as a scout drone ahead of the recon convoy assessed the pathway. Looking down, he could see nature's different features from the forest, grass, and hills. As he observes beside him, both of his squadmates chat.

"From the past two months going around, I don't think the people are enjoying our stay." Uttered beside him sat Gordon

"Can't blame them if a bunch of freedom-loving Americans shreds their fellow men with led" Said Roza as he continued "I don't they were even happy with soldiers of their own kingdom."

"It's kind of hard showing some of that Imperial Patriotism when they go around taking food and burning the rest." Gordon reminded "Not out of the ordinary to anything we saw back home, ask civilians from Aldastan about what happened to those UN supplies they receive."

"Hmm, speaking of UN supplies where the hell are those UN humanitarian aid that we've been talking about"

"Well the UN is still probably sitting back until we blow every last of these dollar-store Romans in the area before they can try to send aid." Said Roza as he then stated, "Luckily these otherworldly primitive assholes don't have any overpowered warcraft levels of magic, then bringing in the Suns and our Space Light Beams would not be a terrible Idea."

"At least the ones we have here make more sense than whatever the usual bullshit fantasy shit you see in anime where swords somehow beat guns. The fantasy people have armor that is somehow ineffective against bullets but a sword could cut them with some random kid with special power." He remarked as they both got a chuckle "Since those discount Romans and their monsters would not be the problem then we should talk about whoever these 'men in green' guys are."

"Well it seems we are mistaken by those guys but we are green enough for the so-called men in green they are talking about." Said Gordon

"That description doesn't tell us much but at least it might as well confirm what type of guys we are facing over here," Sargeant spoke up from the driver's seat as Gordon responded

"Yeah, modern armies apparently but it's hard to get an actual description when we are asking a bunch of dudes who are about a hundred years behind us to describe technology that they barely comprehend"

"From what we know they have these 'magic wands' the same as ours as well as the weapon that killed this powerful dragon with the so-called 'rod of steel'." He remarked on what the natives had told them

"Yeah but which of our 'rod of steel they are talking about? RPGs, MAAWS, AT4s." Said Roza as he then implied "It's already obvious that some nation sees an opportunity and decides to try and take shit from the gate for Oil, Materials, Gold, or some shit."

Gordon chuckle to the stated as he then stated "It would be hypocritical since we might somehow do the same thing sometime in the future knowing how damn well the public wants in on this."

"Better to have all eyes making sure we don't do something stupid inside the Gate than one nation that would do whatever it does in the whole world full of untapped resources that would make every corporation drool on the possible exploitation," Roza responded

"The UN barely has any power to stop anything like that from happening there are still the other percentage of the 7 Billion people who would start burning the streets if they find us committing crimes against whatever nature this world has." Said Gordon, pointing out while he continued "Well even before the Global War on Terror the UN still barely has done anything to be noted except all these big plans they have it barely does anything with everything incompetent shit our world has done"

"Now only we and the Chinese technically have the most power in the Globe even with the recent failures with GLA at Aldastan they did still have some victors here and there and with joint forces during the Liberation at Akmola China is Currently sitting beside the US as a World-leading Power with the EU standing a bit bellow them"

"Other than we still gotta go back with that problem we were talking about" Roza shifted their conversation

"There is no point in asking right now since we are on our way doing surveillance at the area where they are." Said Tannen as his focus remained on the drone's footage

"It's only recon so there is nothing much to worry about since we can run the fuck away from the area if things get hot for us" Lieutenant Hayden then spoke up "We still have a nearby camp to call reinforcement from Ground to Air."

"Well we got heavy armor ready for action, I think whoever these assholes are LT will get smoke from our Trillion Dollars worth of firepower." Said Roza as the Lieutenant gave a slight smirk to the statement

"If you say so but we didn't bring most of those arsenals that would signify all the Trillion Dollars that was burned."

"Hey, as far as we are concerned we still got more bullets than if they brought more bodies to the pile." Said Roza

"Eh, I think the Chinese can provide both of those." Said Gordon "Other than that who do think these formidable foes could be?"

"Who knows the first order of business is to deal with some discount Romans?" Roza just shrugs as he then asks "Speaking of Romans reminds us why this 'Italica City' is important"

"Italica is the Empire's biggest trading city and you might guess why it is important." Sargeant Howard answered his question "We shouldn't worry if a grunt passes by or attacks rather than the big guys they could have kept in reserves since by all means we are trying to capture a key city which would be filled with them."

"if they even have soldiers left to guard the city." Said Gordon to which he pointed out "I am pretty sure we and the guys from the other Gate might have shredded most of them in the past months."

"Even if we don't have all our guys we still of Two of our squad here I am sure we have enough bullets to go up against them." Roza assured Gordon "Hey I am pretty sure a bunch of the Pathfinders and Missile Defenders in Humvees could solo a whole army if they could"

"The real question is how many of those humvees with Pathfinders and Missle Defenders it would take to solo an army" Gordon jokingly asked but before Roza could he was then interrupted by Seargent Howard

"Hold that question for a bit, we got smoke coming towards our destination" He pointed to a smoke in their front

"My, my, when did that happen?" Gordon wondered as they smoke to the smoke to the distance

"Damn we haven't reached there and they are already having a party over there," Roza loudly muttered "Perhaps there might be some uninvited guest over there"

"Same thing should go for us" Gordon responded but they were then interrupted by a crackling of a radio

"Calling Lieutenant Hayden this is Staff Seargent Lambert speaking over" Lieutenant Hayden picked up the radio

"This is Lieutenant Hayden speaking what's the situation"

"We spotted an unknown convoy coming from the south of the road of our position."

"Roger that, everyone holds your position." He then ordered the whole team as he turned to Sergeant Tannen "Tannen move the drone towards the south of our position."

The Sargeant's drone could see a convoy in the distance where they moved through the 'special' regions beyond the plains and passed a few hills ahead then he could see a convoy of light vehicles as they drove towards north where a path led

"We have them on our sight Colonel." Tannen quickly reported their position as he have a sight of the convoy moving through the highway "It appears intel is correct, we got another foreign military on our hands"

As he said this this gained the full attention of the squad leaders as he continued "We have a convoy consisting of three vehicles heading towards the north of our position."

"Tannen can you take a close look at them we need to know who they are." Said Lieutenant Roza as Tannen continued to use the drone

"Hold on give a minute, trying to identify them from this view" The drone's camera began to zoom in at the convoy "Got a view on Light Vehicles"

"What do they look like?"

"There's one jeep, a light armored vehicle, and a humvee." He describes the vehicles in the area

"Searg can you narrow on whose nations we are talking about right here?"

"No clue, do you?' He showed them the appearance of the vehicle

"Hold on, zoom on that armored light vehicle," Said Roza as he enhanced towards the vehicle wide eyes in realization"That looks like a Komatsu, one of Japan's LAVs."

"Hold up, Japan?" He responded a bit skeptical

"Are you sure one of these vehicles belongs to Japan?" The lieutenant asked for confirmation

"It looks close enough to the Komatsu's Japan has." Roza asserted "So what are we gonna do about them?"

"Give me a minute I'll report this back to base before we get the all-clear to contact them." Said the Lieutenant as he pulled out a radio

"Great, first Roman now Japan, well at least it would be exciting to hear what they are gonna do about this back home." Said Gordon

"This is Charlie Two reporting to base over" Lieutenant Hayden called back toward their base

"Base to Charlie Two what is the situation?"

"Hmm? What is the matter?" Asked the Third Recon Team's leader Yoji Itami

After locking eyes with the young mage behind him, Lelei looked at him with a poker expression

"Nothing." He shrugged without giving further response as two people then leaned over

"Well then, where is the shop of this Shooto person?" Both Tuka and Rory asked

Lelei answered straight to the point. "Italica city, west of Tipilika city, at the foot of Romalia mountain."

"Tipilika city, Romalia mountain, Italica city." Sergeant Major Kuwahara had labeled the known landmarks on his map made from aerial photographs. He heard about the names of the places in the vicinity from Lelei and had mapped out the area around Alnus Hill.

"I see, Appian highway, Roma river, Gurlpaz plains, Dima mountain range" Lelei looked curious about the map held by the Sergeant Major as she commented, "This is incredibly very accurate and the map is well drawn."

"Did you make this map?" She then asked as he gestured to the map

"Well." He scratches the back of his head as he gives a welcoming smile "Not Necessarily, It is our job as a recon force to scout around the continent the map was just given to us to mark locations and that is all."

She gave a pleased look satisfied with his answers as her attention was then focused on a compass he then pointed "Does this apparatus provide any directions?"

"Ah, this is a compass, with this tool, it would help point towards locations of the north." He answered as he showed her the tool at hand "If look at where this arrow will point us towards the north, combined with a map it would help us navigate around the regions without much trouble of getting lost."

She continued to listen to the Sargeant explanation of how the compass works, while both Lieutenant Itami and Sargeant Kurata discussed from the front of the vehicle.

"The old man known as the demon drill sergeant seems happy when he is like a grandfather like he just met his granddaughter he never met." Kurata complained as he reminisced In the early stage of the sergeant's course "but he made us cadets at an NCO course run at high port all the time."

"it's kinda fun seeing the Seargent all like that" He slightly chuckled while behind them both Rory and Tuka chatted he could hear both speak in their language and they could guess that Rory was teasing Tuka with her having puffed cheeks while the former kept a mischievous smile at them

"Kurata, what do you think those two are talking about?" He asked with a slight unease for both of the two older two

"Not much of a mind reader per se, but from the sounds of it they are having a lively conversation," Kurata responded but his demeanor quickly changed as he nervously looked at the smoke in the distant

"Commander Itami, smoke ahead, to the right." They looked in the distance to see a black small followed by Lelei behind as he observed the origin of the smoke with binoculars, but couldn't confirm anything as it was quite some distance away.

"Hey, will this road lead somewhere near the source of that smoke?" Itami stopped the convoy and asked Kurata "The road is heading right towards it."

"Damn. This is the second time that smoke has appeared right in front of us. I have a bad feeling about this." Itami then asked Kuwahara for his map, Kuwahara found the city labeled as Italica near the source of the smoke.

"That is smoke." Lelei said in Japanese

"The reason for the smoke?" The smart Lelei understood Itami's question immediately

"Farmland, burn, no smoke. Season, wrong. Caused by man. Flier? But too big."

"Not 'flier', it's fire." After correcting the mistake, Itami issued his orders.

"Uh Itami do we have any other team doing a recon in this area" Said a questioning Kuruta to which he pointed towards the direction in front of them

"No, why do you ask." His response then gave Kurata a worried look

"I think we have company" He pointed to see unknown vehicles suddenly appear in the distance all the while they began to approach them

"Those look like humvees." Itami identified the vehicle as it got closer more began to be seen from behind

"And uh more of them, about five I think." Said Kurata as they observed the convoy with a nervous expression "And all of them got gunners at top great"

"Lelei hand the binoculars." She hand over the binoculars to him

"More Jayesdeef?" She then asked but even a response their expression looked a contradiction of what she would expect all the while Itami closely inspected looking at the gunners at the top as he showed a look of response to this unexpected group

"Americans!" He said out loud as Kuwahara and Kurokawa who were already at ease now even more surprised

"Itami what do you mean American, as in the United States?" Kuwahara asked

"We weren't about US soldiers being sent here," Kurokawa said as both looked at confusion and worry.

"Lieutenant, what should we do?" Kurata asked gulping from the tense encounter as he looked at them and began to get close to the distance Itami then took a deep breath as he then gave an order

"Alright everybody get ready we to get out and wait to see of these Americans." He ordered as they all reluctantly agreed Kuwahara and Kurokawa picked up their rifles as Itami turned to the Three natives behind them "I want all three of you to stay and here wait, I am sure we got this under control"

The Three of them agreed although Rory was slightly disappointed and was about to dispute but was quickly scolded by the two to which she gave in while crossing her arms in childish anger Itami just sighed as he positioned up at the front of the convoy and stood waiting for the approaching vehicle as he pull out his radio

"Hey uh, everyone exit your vehicles" He ordered then later he could see the rest of the team exit the vehicle

"Hey, what's holding us up, Lieutenant?" Said the tempered Sargeant Kubiyarashi but said nothing as he just awkwardly pointed at the approaching convoy

"Huh, I thought we were the recon team sent over here?"

"I don't think they are from any of our team." Said Itami as the convoy in front of them slowed down they could see the full appearance of the vehicles

There they have a few views of the common American-tanned M1151 Humvee and from all five of that vehicle they could see the Famous Army soldier of the US military above as they equip the M2 Browning Machinegun up top as they stared at them.

They were slightly unnerve of their presence as more exited the vehicle but he noticed something different about these soldiers. From most of the appearance that he commonly see from the soldiers they should be wearing their distinctive gray uniform which these soldiers wear a mixture of tan, brown, and greenish colors

As he observed them further at first glance he thought these soldiers were armed with the M4A1 but as he looked closely they were armed with a more modified M16 from its appearance judging by the barrel length of the gun

But all his thoughts of his observation were interrupted as then what he believed to be the leader of the US Platoon went to approach him

"Are you the Japanese Armed Forces?" The person he believed to be the platoon leader then spoke to the team in their language

Itami began to gather himself to what was said to him but was slightly confused by being addressed as 'Japanese Armed Forces' but he shrugged to it as a possible mistranslation by the foreign soldier

"Uhm yes." He responded slightly off barely able to keep his composure although the soldier didn't seem to be fazed at his reaction

"Can you speak English?" He then asked

"Uhm a little." He merely gave a short response

"Then we can speak Japanese if it makes you comfortable" Itami just nodded

"Lieutenant Henry Hayden, Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment." Itami was slightly surprised he never expected them to be the US Army Rangers

"Uhh, First Lieutenant Yoji Itami Third Recon Team" He introduced himself by turning to a more professional attitude

"Nice meeting you Lieutenant although we did not expect you Japanese to be from the second Gate." Itami then raised a brow in confusion as he asked "Uhm what do you mean, a second gate?"

The soldiers seemed to be intrigued by his response as he then asked "So you are not aware of another gate in the regions?"

"what do you mean, there's another, where is it?" He asked as he scratched the back of his head at first the US lieutenant remained unfazed

"Kazakhstan it is already well known in the public Lieutenant for two months." This information continued to confuse the Japanese lieutenant as they continued "Might I ask where your Gate appeared?"

"Huh, Ginza Tokyo of course it's also a been there, it's been a big thing in public for quite a while you know." As they continued to exchange information about the Gate it has done nothing more than confuse each other

"Since when did your Gate open?" Lieutenant Hayden asked

"Well obviously August 1, 2007" As he answered his inquiry their eyes now looked surprised

"May you repeat that?" He then asked as Itami was already confused by all the questions but reluctantly obliged

"August 1, 2007" He repeated

"2007?" He uttered the year to him questioningly he just nodded to which he then asked

"Why did you ask?"

"Our Gate also opened on August 1, however, it is in the year 2027" He paused for a minute trying to understand what the Sargeant as then he processed what was told to him

"NANI!?" Specialist Gordon heard the Japanese Commanding officer yell in surprise

Although he could not understand what was said in the conversion as he hadn't learned Japanese he could take in some familiar English-like words such as twenty-twenty-seven and two thousand-seven

"Damnit can't understand shit," Gordon complained as she regrettably muttered, "Should have learned more Japanese back when I was stationed back then."

"This is surprising." Sargeant Tannen said surprised at what they said

"Huh, what it is?" He asked but they paused their convoy as the continuous conversation could be heard between his Lieutenant and the Japanese

He is watching as the Japanese man is confused but they continue speaking to one another Sargeant Tannen listened attentively as he turned back at him "It is apparent are from the past in the year 2007 apparently"

"Huh" He looked back at the sergeant "Are serious right now?"

He said nothing as he just nodded while his focus remained on two of the recon leaders who were conversing

"Wait you telling they are from twenty years in the past?" He asked as he then questioned the sergeant "Are you sure you not bullshitting me Sarg because I really know they are saying"

But with how the Sargeant behaves it appeared he seemed to be serious as he stated "Is it really hard to believe when there is already a portal that is opened to our world?"

As he thought about it, there was a mistake in what he had said so it was likely to conclude that the Sargeant was correct as he then said "Okay, so it is a parallel world or from the parallel time it seems. It explains why there were no sightings of the second Gate."

"Shit now this will surely bring chicanery back home" He uttered as he looked to the rest of the soldiers of the other team from Japan he wondered "What do you think they might be thinking?

"Huh! You are joking right?" Kuribayashi said out loud in shock from behind with the rest of the team

They watch as Itami continuously asks the US Army Officer who appears to not be pleased with Itami who is barraging him with questions after another such as 'What has happened with the twenty years.', 'how far has technology progressed", or 'Are there bad events we could prevent."

"I wish but you heard what they said." Said Sargeant First Class Kurokawa

"This is not what I expected" Said Master Sargeant Nishina who like the rest of the team is shocked by the revelation

"So this guy is American twenty years in the future?" Tomita closely observed the Ranger as he looked towards them he saw the difference in the gear although not futuristic it was apparent it still held a resemblance to their current 21st-century technology as he commented "They don't look different from our current Americans"

"It's only been twenty years we can't expect them to have already had laser weapons," Said Kuribayashi as he remarked, "The only thing different is their outfit and some equipment."

"There goes my expectation of a futuristic army and giant mechs," Tomita said disappointed

"Seriously, that's what you can think about?" Kuribayashi stared at him with an annoyed look

"Hey it's not that far fetch when you meet soldiers from the future" Tomita defended himself from the fiery Sargeant but they stopped their conversation as they listened to their lieutenant's conversation

"Okay, I should stop asking" Itami finally ended with his barrages of questions and he finally calmed himself

"If you are done with questions then it's my turn to ask some questions" The Army Lieutenant still quite taken aback by the recent reaction of the Lieutenant returned to his original tone

"What is your team currently operating around this area?" he then asked Itami

"We are currently heading to the city of Italica." The US soldier then raised a brow

"Italica, are you by means doing reconnaissance in the area?"

"Well partially have VIPs who are native in this region to take towards Italica for business."

"Are the people of Italica nonhostile or neutral by any means?"

"Well, we don't know since it is still in Imperial territory but we are attempting to for a more peaceful contact." Said Itami as the US Rangers slightly nod in approval

"Are those VIPs an influential figure in the city by all means?" He then asked

"Uhm actually we do have one she kind of is in a way very influential figure as some kind of religious figure." Itami responded as he explained, "We have come to the city for trade and to attempt to make a peaceful contact in the process." The US Ranger was satisfied with his answers as he then said

"Very well, since it would be vital for both sides of the gate for the two well-technically allied nations to work together, it is best to report this to our respective nations."

"Uh Sure, what are you to do next." Itami agreed to their idea

"We are report back to our respective base and perhaps set up communication and contact between two worlds."

"Yeah, I think it might be a good idea." Said Itami as they back to their own units he headed back to his teammates

"So how did it go?" Tomita asked as Itami then did a quick sigh of relief

"Uhm, not too terrible but I think it's best we report this back to base."

"Well, the General would be in for a surprise when he finds out." Said Nishina as they both chuckled at the statement

"It may as well be disastrous for the rest of Japan knowing that the Special Regions is no longer exclusive to Japan"

Italica City, Falmart

"Retreat, fall back" It was the last thing a renegade yelled to the bandit army as an arrow landed on the back of his head as his body drop to the groun

The Bandit army retreated away from the outside of the city. The bodies of the bandits and the defenders of Italica littered the ground on both sides of the city walls leaving those who survived tired from the battle

The Prince of the Empire Piña looked back down towards her fellow Rose knights

"Hamilton, are you okay?"

A female knight who sat on the ground taking a breath of air responded tiredly "We're alive"

"Don't worry princess us your servants handle this." Said an older male knight as Princess Pina went down from the walls she was

"Of course, your strength is needed for the noble's safety of course" As she said this Hamilton who was still on the ground sat up straight with a tired expression

"Princess, what are we doing in Italica fighting with lowly bandits?"

"Hamilton, Italica is a vital trading city for the Empire due to its strategic importance the enemies might as well conquer this place" Pina responded "However it seems bandits who have attacked instead

"Unbeatable that the allied armies would turn to banditry after a defeat" She then commented as she stood

Pina then walks past them turning his attention to the soldiers

"Everyone, gather yourselves the bandits haven't given up yet we have returned to your post." She then ordered "I receive news of the rest of the Order knights to come in three days. Now we must fortify the walls if we are to hold out further

She turned back to one of her knights "Grey, what is the condition of the Gate?"

"It is no use, Princess, it is best to block with wood we can set it ablaze if the enemy comes closer" Pina then walked towards another side of the wall towards a blonde knight at the top of it

"Norma! How's your side?" As he was surveying the outside with a bow in hand. He looked back and replied, "No enemies left so far, all have retreated back to their camp"

"Stay alert, who knows when they'll come back." Norma nodded as Pina turned back to grey

"I'll dine in at the Formal Estate, I'll leave things to you for now"

"As you wish Your Highness."

As Pina is close to the main estate, In the end, the head maid comes to greet Piña.

"Your Highness, welcome." She bowed to her and then turned her head back to her

"Mm. Forgive me, but do you have anything to eat or drink?" As she finished speaking to the head maid, Piña sat tired from the recent battle as the butler who stood by the side poured a silver goblet of wine for Piña.

"Your Highness, it seems we are saved."

"Not yet. Those bandits will come by for another attack." She said as took a sip of the fight

"Must we fight them? Maybe we could negotiate." The Butler suggested as Pina looked at him fiercely and he gave an uncomfortable smile

"You want to avoid a fight? Simple. Open the gate and give them for them to pillage the city." The old butler, who was averse to combat, sighed as he heard Piña speak.

"After they plunder everything you have, they'll kill all the men. The young women will be taken as slaves, but before that, they'll be violated." Sweat poured down the butler's head, and he whined "How about the safety of Lady Myui, she is only 11"

"All we can do is fight. Trying to negotiate with these animals is pointless. That is a path to destruction. All we can do is grit our teeth and resist to the bitter end."Piña gulped down the wine as she helped herself to the black bread and barley porridge. However, after a mouthful, she frowned.

"So little and it's bland too?" The head maid sternly shook her head and spoke "Your Highness, when one is fatigued, their stomachs will be weak as well. Consuming rich foods in that condition will only harm one's body."

Piña accepted the head maid's comments without complaint but she then thought of the comment as Piña asked the old maid a question. "Have you been through something like this before?"

"I once lived in the town of Rosa."

A town that had once been attacked by the Empire. Although they beat back the Imperial Army, their government collapsed and they were finally taken by the Empire. It was now a ruin. That maid must have been a combat veteran in Rosa during that battle. Warfare was not limited to bows, magic, and swords. Raising morale, and distributing weapons and rations were also ways to fight.

Piña ate until she was nearly full, and wiped her mouth with a napkin. "Then, I shall go rest in a guest room. If anything happens, bring the messenger directly to me."

As she finished speaking to the old maid, a playful gleam came into Piña's eye and she decided to mess with her."What would you do if I did not wake up?"

"Why, I would dump water on your head and invite you to rise." Said the old maid with a smile on her face as Piña laughed

Later However He felt cold water on her face that woke her up. She angrily donned her armor over her wet clothes as she wiped her face.

"What happened? Is it the enemy?" Gray who stood next to the head maid splashed the water on her as he began his report.

"We don't know if they're friend or foe. You should see it yourselves Your Majesty" Her eyes widened at what told her as he quickly got up

Later as he arrived from the top of the wall with many of the militia at watch as then she was directed by Grey

"Your Highness, you can get a good view from here." as she looked she saw what looked like four-wheeled wagons but they were not pulled by horses or cows.

There are about Eight of these Wagons lining up Three of the Wagons at the very front appeared to be separate from the rest notably it's different designs but they also appeared to be painted in a greenish brown and light green splotches color while the other five are colored in tan resembling a color of sand however unlike the vehicles in green they all possess of the same the design

She noticed those five vehicles had soldiers up top of them all pointing the barrels of weapons holding them as if they were to be weapons the closest thing she compared to is a crossbow kind but lacked the bow part of the weapon but she couldn't be too sure due to the unpredictability of the enemy since they aren't firing the weapon it seems they are only pointing at them due to caution

As far as she could see the soldiers wore strange outfits with color palettes of tan, green, and brown. Although not something to how the 'men in green' are described they still hold semblance to how they were described. She thought if they were the men that were spoken of She noticed there were people inside that 'armored wagon'. Still, however exquisite their weapons were, weapons alone could not take a city.

"Norma?!"

"No other enemies," Norma replied as though he knew what Piña was going to say.

"Friend or foe?! If you are a friend, then come out!" Noma shouted while Piña, Italica's defenders, and the citizens all held their breath.

After a while, the back door of one of the green carriages opened. A girl emerged from it. She seemed to be 13 to 15 years old. Judging by the long robe and the magic staff she was carrying, she was instantly recognizable as a mage. The next to alight was a girl of around 16, wearing strange clothes. The problem was this girl was an elf an excellent spirit summoner.

As she thought of ways to take down the two of them, after she saw the girl alight from the vehicle, her damp clothes suddenly turned ice cold. She wore priest's clothing, made of black

"That, that's Rory Mercury!" Her eyes widen to the Apostle of Emroy

"Is that the legendary Rory the Reaper? Although it's the first time I've seen her, she looks like the young lady in the Count's residence"

"Don't be fooled by her looks, she's a monster that's over 900 years old."

An Apostle, a mage, and an Elf Piña would rather flee than think of fighting the three of them.

"However, what's an Apostle of Emroy doing with a bunch of bandits?" Piña shook her head at Gray's question.

"You can't judge these people like that."

Knowing that Normal human values did not apply to Apostles. They cared nothing for the Emperor or the Senate's laws, or even the thing called justice. It might not be wrong to say they sneered at them. That was Piña's worried

"Whether the Gods exist has nothing to do with good or evil. People pray to them, but bad things still happen. One can get sick even if one lives a virtuous life and a cruel tyrant can still live a long time. All these have nothing to do with prayer or reverence.

Gods are beings that humans can't understand. Or rather, humans can't understand the motivations of the Gods… and some people say the Gods must be crazy."

After hearing Piña's thoughts, Gray's brow was slick with sweat. He muttered, "If her Holiness hears that, we'll be in trouble..."

"Oh yes. These people style themselves as the Gods' messengers. If you say Gods are completely insane and incomprehensible, then there's no purpose for them to exist."

In a polytheistic world, the faiths did not differentiate between good, evil, orthodoxy, or heresy. If one tired of one god, then one could worship another. However, the priesthood was a religious organization that enjoyed certain privileges and power. Anyone who denigrated the gods would become a target for them.

"I didn't hear that, I didn't hear that."

Gray shook his head at Piña from behind her. Then, Piña peered outside through the gap.

"Oh, they're here."

She looked to the front of the gate once more. The mage girl was approaching them.

They did not expect this. Coming with the Japanese Recon was not originally planned with the Charlie Two Unit however after Lieutenant Hayden reported back to base they decided we should stick with the Japanese as far as details the Japanese are going to a hostile territory because a VIP they are currently guarding wanted to scout the city and to ensure peace between them

He doesn't know if what they are doing is stupid or not. It is Probably out of the ordinary method when encountering enemy forces as it would not be strange in the medieval age to go to enemy territory for a message since they lacked long-range communication to message without the possibility of having your messenger not get shot at by an arrow when talking from the comforts of your base behind various radios and other device but as he heard details of the Japanese mission

The thought that they come to the city to negotiate peace and avoid much conflict is a good idea but the way they are doing it might as well be terrible as they are going to the city and hoping fifty-fifty style that the city would not be as aggressive due to the possible of it still being under imperial occupation although it unlikely due to recent scorch possibly they have conducted which the Japanese might be correct than they though

Next, he thought that the VIP would be highly important for the people of the empire enough for their enemies to not start attacking them when they had the chance if that's the case he wondered why this VIP even agreed to associate with the Japanese. Whatever it is parts of this mission do not make sense but he would get along with it. They were ordered to join the Japanese forces the latter agreed to their coming

So as he arrived outside he was not surprised by Balista pointing at them as he followed by pointing his 50 cal machine gun at them in case if they started firing but as a knight from the gate yelled at us in Latin. He could not understand what he was saying much as he has yet to learn more Latin but he could guess he was trying to find out more about them

As then his attention turned as the 'VIPs' exited he was confused and appalled as three of the VIPs exited Surprised at first he thought that this was royalty but he wrong as what exited are one appeared to be a mage of sore, another just seemed to be an ordinary elf but one that made him scratch the back of his head is the youngest of the three. He watches in confusion at what looks like a 12-year-old child in some kind of gothic cosplay holding a large axe.

Roza looked on to the rest of his team in the humvee as they appeared to have similar thoughts of confusion although from what they could towards the wall it appeared that they were convinced as they could see them pointing away their weapons. Lieutenant Hayden orders them to leave their vehicles leaving both the driver and the top gunners to remain as the rest of the unit will move on foot from here

it seems all doubt has left in his mind it is apparent that perhaps the VIPs are more important than they thought past their appearance. Perhaps things would go more smoothly than he thought due to how uneasy he felt going through enemy lines. however as they towards the gate with the Japanese Lieutenant taking front but then suddenly the Gate suddenly opened knocking the Lieutenant to the ground

"I'm glad you came." They heard a yell from the opened gate

Instinctively he quickly grips his rifle as he is halfway to pointing towards the gate believing this is a sort of attack but he quickly stops himself as his mind processes what happened. The redhead female knight who opened the gate now stood confused by the knocked-down Japanese soldier. As of now his reaction of tension quickly turned to confusion as to how a very serious or possibly life-threatening situation had to something as comedic as this.

Authors Note: Here goes the second Chapter done hope you enjoy it.

In response to a review:

rollynolly: I don't have plans for the European Union to play a major role in the story. They don't have much of a role before or during the events of Generals and Zero. In the canceled Generals 2 the only reason why they have the role and replace the USA as a faction is that they got asses handed to them by the GLA but this story, it takes place after the US Campaign before their Retreat but I diverge the story from its cannon event.
