When Hearts Shine Bright is my version of Elizabeth and Nathan's burgeoning relationship post season 10 of When Calls the Heart. It's a continuation of the one-shot fanfic Under the Brilliant Sun.

Nathan and Elizabeth are finally married and off on their honeymoon. It's a new journey for the blissful couple, and their time to bask in the glow of newfound intimacy. This story is a continuation of When Hearts Shine Bright.

Elizabeth Grant lost her husband Nathan to a fire when he was in the line of duty working as Chief for Denver Fire Department. Nathan's best friend and coworker, Lucas Bouchard took over the duties that he left behind, but lost touch with his widow and children. Will they get back in touch? is Elizabeth ready to move forward and open her heart again?

My take on Elizabeth & Nathan's thoughts & feelings in relation to two songs by Kelly Clarkson, Chemistry & Magic. The lyrics seemed to really fit them and so I split the song into pieces and interspersed their thoughts/feelings as I imagine them to be. Hope you enjoy!
