After Yhwach dies, he finds himself in a black void with a voice speaking to him. He then learns that he will be reborn as someone else to restart and make up for all the evil he has done. He then finds himself merging with a soul that is so pure, that it changes his personality, goals, and feelings. He wakes up to find himself in the body of Bell Cranel from Danmachi.

10. Chapter 10 - Irregular Minotaur

Time skip: The next day

Bell POV

'When I woke up in the morning, I went downstairs to prepare breakfast for myself, Lily, and Hestia. After I made breakfast, I went outside to grab the Rapier Ais was using and sharpen it, because even though she is skilled in sword fighting, she isn't at the level of a true master, let alone reach perfection with her style, and even then, with sword as fragile as this, it will dull overtime no matter how good someone is at wielding it. So after I performed maintenance on it, I brought it back to the training ground, as I cleaned up and replaced all of the cut down Tatami Mats. But just as I finished, I sensed that someone was entering the training ground.'

"Hello Ais, are you going to move on to the next step of the training exercise I told you?" - Bell asked, as he turned around, seeing Ais a couple meters away from him.

"Yes." - Was all Ais said, as she took out her sword and made her way to a tree, before she was interrupted by Bell.

"Hey Ais, do you think you could spar with me for a little while until I go to the dungeon?" - Bell asked.

"Ok." - Ais said, as she prepared herself.

"Before we start, I think it is a good idea to spar with the sword I gave you so you have at least a little battle experience with it, is that ok?" - Bell asked, as he himself grabbed his other sword made out of Light Steel.

"That's a good idea." - Ais said with a slight smile, as she grabbed the sword Bell gave her with a slight smile, as she was preparing herself.

Bell and Ais then clashed with each other, carefully deflecting and dodging since if they blocked, there was a good chance that one of their swords would break. As they continued sparing, very few attacks landed on each other, as Bell was able to land a handful of punches and kicks, as Ais has only been able to land 2 kicks. But because Ais was so much stronger than Bell, she hurt him a lot more than he hurt her, causing Bell and Ais to be relatively in the same state.

Time skip: 1 hour

After fighting each other for an hour, Lily walked outside, causing Bell and Ais to stop.

"Good morning Lily, did you sleep well?" - Bell asked Lily.

"Yes Master Bell, but I was wondering what you would like me to do today for training?" - Lily asked, as she was paying attention to Bell's next words.

'I can't tell her with Ais around since I haven't decided whether or not I should give her Quincy abilities, especially since she is in a different Familia.' - Bell thought, as he made a decision.

"I will, but first." - Bell said as he looked at Ais, causing her to look at him expectantly.

"You are to go practice cutting down a tree with the sword I gave you until you can slice a tree in half horizontally, do you understand?" - Bell said, as he looked at Ais, as she nodded before making her way to the tree line, as she was now out of sight and could not hear what Bell wanted Lily to do.

"Now Lily, I would like you to try infusing your Heilig Pfeil with lightning. But before you do, you should know that it is a lot harder than it seems, because if the lightning goes haywire, which will happen to you since you have never done this before, it will shock you." - Bell said, causing Lily to go wide eyed.

"B-but isn't that dangerous Master Yhwach?" - Lily asked, slightly concerned with her own safety.

"Not at first, since you will be starting out at a low voltage and slowly work your way up to your max voltage. But it will get harder and harder to use your lightning with Heilig Pfeil as you use more voltage, so you will have to be careful when you increase it, ok?" - Bell asked, causing Lily to calm down, as she nodded.

"Good, now I will be going to the dungeon today so I want you to do your best and I want you to know that I believe in you." - Bell said, as he suddenly vanished from Lily's sight and senses by using his Hirenkyaku.

"I will Master Yhwach." - Lily said with a small smile, as her face then turned stern as she began to practice.

Scene change: The dungeon

'Now that I have increased my rank of abnormal resistance, the position should be less harmful to me.' - Bell thought, as he swiftly drank a Poison Potion.

However, much to Bell's surprise, the Potion was way less effective on him. As it now only gave him a slight headache and stomach ache, nothing compared to the torture he had to go through yesterday. As we now found Bell on the 14th floor fighting a group made up of 12 Liger Fangs with 1 Irregular as a leader.

'These things are being ordered around by that Irregular, it doesn't look anywhere as strong as the one I fought when I had to go through the floors and fight the strongest irregular of the strongest monster on each floor.' - Bell thought, as he was currently trying to activate Argonaut in quick succession as he swung his sword, punched, kicked, and grappled.

But as a Ligerfang bit on Bell's arm, it wasn't enough to do extreme damage because of his Strong Body developmental ability. As he did a flip over the Liger fang, as he grabbed the scruff of its neck and chucking it at another charging Ligerfang, as he then fired a 1 second charged argonaut at the 2 Ligerfangs, killing them.

As 10 Ligerfangs were left, he found that half of them were in a line, as he found a perfect use to see how much damage his Getsuga Tensho would do.

"Getsuga Tensho!" - Bell yelled after infusing Zangetsu with a Firebolt and a 10 second charge Argonaut, as he shot an arc of fire and lightning that cut through the Liger Fangs as it then exploded, killing all 5 instantly.

"Damn." - Bell said, as he quickly prepared for the onslaught of the other 5 Ligerfangs. He was not disappointed, as they all charged at him at the same time.

However, what was different about this group is that they all worked together, surprising Bell. As 2 Ligerfangs charged from the front, as 2 went on the sides of him as another was jumping at him.

Bell however, being the insane bastard he is, jumped up above the Ligerfang in the air, grabbing its tail and swinging it into the other 4 Ligerfangs, sunning them and killing the Ligerfang he was holding. Bell taking this opportunity, quickly did a split kick in the air which landed on the Ligerfangs heads, cracking their skulls and sending them flying into the dungeon wall, as he shot a Firbolt at each of the 2 Ligerfangs left, killing them in their stunned state.

"Now, only you are left." - Bell said, as he turned to the Ligerfang that was previously standing, only to now find that it was a couple of feet away from him.

On top of him being in his weakened state and him being surprised, he wasn't able to counter the claws that that the Ligerfang swatted at his chest, causing 1 of his ribs to fracture and the air being knocked out of his lungs from the impact, as he was sent flying into the wall, casing him to cough up saliva.

Thankfully however, the combination of the armor he was wearing and his strong body being at rank H, he only got scratches from the claws.

Bell quickly recovered however, as he could see the Ligerfang jumping at him, trying to bite him. Bell in response, slid underneath the Ligerfang, as he gutted it with Zangetsu, but before the Ligerfang could even land on the ground, Bell grabbed its tail and swung it into the wall causing blood to fly everywhere, killing the Ligerfang as it dropped a magic stone and Liger Fang Fur.

'I can stay in the dungeon for another 3 hours before I have to go back up to the surface. I think it's a good idea to kill Purple Moths and Blue Papilo Wings so I could have Naaza make me more Poison and Healing Potions.' - Bell thought as he collected the magic stones and drop items he gained from the Liger Fangs, as he started to make his way to the 7th floor to kill as many Purple Moth and Blue Papillos.

Time skip: 3 hours

As Bell continued to kill Purple Moths and the occasional Blue Papilio, he was constantly sneezing and got more and more dizzy as poisonous dust from the Purple Moths kept on getting collected on Bell's body, making his condition worse.

But eventually, the three hours that the Poison Potion lasted was up, causing Bell to immediately use a Lesser potion, causing almost immediate relief.

Bell then began counting the Purple Moth Wings which added up to 43 and Blue Papilio wings which added up to 14, as he then made his way back up to the surface to sell the magic stones and drop items to the guild and give both the Purple Moth and Blue Papillo Wings to the Blue Pharmacy.

Bell POV

'I have made a total of 127,850 Valis from the dungeon today, as I was now making my way to the Blue Pharmacy.'

"Hello Naaza." - Bell said, as he set down the bag full of Blue Papillo and Purple Moth Wings.

But before Naaza could say anything, Bell interrupted her.

"A gift for you, but I have to go back to my home now, bye!" - Bell said, as he gave Naaza a wave before sprinting away.

"O, k?" - Naaza said as she slowly opened the bag, but was shocked at what she saw before squealing like a girl in love.

As Bell continued making his way to the Wandenreich, he began to get lost in thought.

'Every day I go in the dungeon, it gets easier and easier to kill monsters to the point it is almost boring. I will have to talk with Ouranos and see if there is an item that can conceal my power.' - Bell thought, as he then arrived at the Wandenreich.

As Bell walked through the training ground, he saw Ais, as she was cutting through a tree, but the difference was that she was using the same sword and power Bell told her to use, causing him to smile.

"Hey Ais, it seems that you have been able to complete the second step, call me impressed." - Bell said to Ais, causing her to blush.

"T-thank you, but I was wondering if I could stay here to eat please?" - Ais said, causing Bell to chuckle, as Ais looked at him with slight embarrassment.

"That's fine, but I have to go talk with Lily and Goddess Hestia, as I have to talk to them about some, Familia matters." - Bell said, as Ais gave a nod in understanding, as she continued to train. As Bell made his way to the other side of the training ground where Lily was.

As Bell watched Lily, he couldn't help but be in awe at the progress she has made in one day, as she was now holding a crossbow made out of Reishi with a Heilig Pfeil made out of her lightning, as when she shot it, it was not only really sharp but heavily electrocuted what the arrow touched.

"Wow Lily, you have made a lot more progress than I thought you would, call me impressed." - Bell said, as Lily ran over to him.

"Thanks Master Yhwach, how was your day in the dungeon?" - Lily asked as she gave Bell a hug, which he accepted, as she released him with a smile.

"It was pretty good, although the monsters I am fighting are really weak compared to me so it is kind of boring." - Bell replied, causing Lily to snicker.

"Anyways Master Yhwach, don't you think we should get our statuses updated before we eat dinner?" - Lily asked, as Bell nodded his head before he spoke up.

"Very well then. As for lunch, Ais was wondering if she could join us." - Bell said - causing Lily to shrug.

"I don't really care all that much, so I am fine with it." - Lily said, giving Bell her approval.

"Now that that's been said, I believe we should make our way to our goddess no?" - Bell asked, as he and Lily started to make their way to Hestia's room.

"Hello Hestia, are you enjoying yourself?" - Bell asked, as he opened the door to her room, revealing Hestia, reading a book on Orario's history of all things.

"Hi Bell, hi Lily, I am doing great, I am assuming you want to get your statuses updated?" - Hestia asked, as Bell nodded before taking his shirt off and laying on the couch.

When Hestia was updating Bell's status, Bell started talking to her.

"By the way Hestia, I was wondering if you would be ok if Ais joins us for dinner tonight?" - Bell asked, as Hestia just finished updating his status and handing the status sheet to Bell.

"If you want her to, then sure, you're the one in love with her, remember?" - Hestia said with a teasing smile, causing Bell to blush a deep crimson, as he slowly got up and made his way outside the room so Hestia could update Lily's status.

Whilst Hesita was updating Lily's status, Bell started to read over his own status.

"Here you go, Bell." - Lily said as she handed her status sheet to Bell so he could read it

"That's amazing Lily! Pretty soon you will have max stats meaning the only thing left that you have to do to level up is accomplish an impressive feat!" - Bell yelled in joy for Lily, causing her to smile.

But before they could continue their celebration, Hestia spoke up and interrupted them.

"Actually Bell, you are wrong about the last thing you said" - Hestia said, causing Bell to gain a cartoonish look of confusion before giving Hestia his attention.

"Back when Lily drank the REAL Soma Wine, she was able to force herself to stay lucid and speak what she wanted, causing the feat needed to level up to be completed. Not only that, but she was even able to slightly burn your back, even though it was barely noticeable, when you were both sparring with Quincy abilities, which would also be a feat worthy enough to enable a level up." - Hestia said, causing Bell and Lily's mouth to fall open in shock.

"Huh, well… I am gonna go get the food ready, can you let Ais inside Lily?" - Bell asked.

"Ok," - was all Lily said, as she made her way back to the backyard where Ais was patiently waiting outside.

"Could you help me, Hestia?" - Bell asked, as Hestia has gotten A LOT better at cooking since she has been getting taught by Lily and Bell, mostly Bell.

"Of course! I would love to!" - Hestia said enthusiastically, as she started skipping towards the kitchen, causing Bell to sign with a fond smile on his face.

After Lily let Ais inside the Wandenreich, they started to make their way towards the dining area where they would eat. What greeted them however, was a massive assortment of meat, vegetables, fruits, and deserts, causing a question mark to appear above Ais's head.

"Why is everything set out like this?" - Ais asked, genuinely confused.

"This is called a 'Buffet', you are allowed to grab whatever food you want that is available in any quantity you want. This is because adventurers like us need to be at full energy before going into the dungeon to not only make money quicker, but to also get stronger and recover faster. The only rule is that you should try to leave some of whatever you are getting an abnormally large amount of so other people can have some. Although, we don't really have a lot of people eating here right now so that rule doesn't apply right now." - Bell said, causing Ais's eyes to widen and sparkle at this new way of getting food, causing Hestia and Lily to slightly snicker as they have already gone through this whole situation with Bell a while ago.

As Bell, Ais, Lily, and Hestia got what they wanted to eat, they started to make their way over to the table, as Bell sat at the end of the table, making him look like a king.

However, as Ais took the first bite of her food, her body froze, as her eyes widened, causing Bell to be slightly nervous, hoping that Ais liked it, since he is the one who made it after all.

"Who made this?" - Ais said with a dead tone that seemed to be hiding something, causing Lily and Hestia to point at Bell, as he had his hand raised.

"This… is… really… good!" - Ais finished with a quiet scream, as she happily ate the food on her plate before making her way back over to where the food was located so she could get seconds.

Bell then sighed in relief over the fact that Ais liked his food, as Hesti and Lily gave him a thumbs up with slight grins, causing him to blush in embarrassment. Unknown to everyone, including Ais herself, Mini Ais was holding up a sign that said, "the big bunny is husband material", dancing all the while, as everyone was oblivious to this.

The group of 4 people continued to eat their dinner with the occasional small talk, as before they knew it, they were all full.

"Thanks for letting me eat here." - Ais said with a short bow.

"Oh, um, it's no big deal, we are just glad that you were here to give us some company." - Bell said with a nervous laugh with a hand on the back of his head, causing Hestia and Lily to smile for a bit in agreement.

"Would it be ok if I come here tomorrow as well?" - Ais asked, causing Bell to inwardly blush, as he responded.

"Of course you can, you're my friend after all." - Bell said with a smile, causing Ais to follow suit. Although, something in her gut didn't like that fact that Bell called her a friend, Ais however, decides to ignore this for now, as she now started to make her way back to the Twilight Manor.

"Alright you 2, let's go to bed, we have a lot of work to do tomorrow." - Bell said, as he gently nudged Hestia and Lily back inside.

After Bell made sure that Lily and Hestia were asleep, he decided that now was a good time to contact Ouranos.

"Hello Yhwach, what do you need?" - Ouranos asked, looking at Bell through the crystal ball.

"Hello Ouranos, after I have 'discreetly' searched in different places for an item that could heavily reduce the power and strength I use, I was unable to find any. So I was hoping that you could help me out?" - Bell asked, as Ouranos answered his question with a question of his own.

"Why do you need such an item?" - Ouranos asked, knowing that Bell would never use something like that for bad, as he was just curious.

"The reasoning is quite simple really, you see, my growth has heavily declined because of the fact that I am unwilling to go deeper than the 16th floor without more party members, so I wanted to know if there was something to make me have a lot less power available." - Bell answered Ouranos, causing the said god to give a slight nod in understanding.

"I understand, but I regret to inform you that such an item does not exist." - Ouranos said, causing Bell to sigh.

"However," - Ouranos said, interrupting Bell's sigh of indignation, "we do have an alternative." - Ouranos said, as he showed Bell a bracelet, causing Bell to tilt his head in confusion.

"This is a gravity bracelet, it was made by an accomplice whose name is Fels, as there are only 5 of them currently in existence, although he could make more. But there are 2 developmental abilities you need in order to create this, which is Blacksmith and Mystery." - Ouranos said, causing Bell's eyes to widen in excitement at the possibilities he could use this item to make his Familia stronger.

"I do ask that you do not give these to other Families or people outside of your Famila or give them it to train for a time unless you trust them with your lives, as if news of this got out, wargames would be started to gain a single one of them, resulting in thousands if not tens of thousands of deaths." - Ouranos said, causing Bell to freeze, as he started recounting all the death and destruction he caused during The Thousand Year Blood War.

"Ok, but how much does this increase the gravity on me, and how do I activate it?"

"To activate it, you simply need to hold it and think about how much you want the gravity to be increased, the limit however goes up to 5x normal gravity, causing you to be 5 times slower, weaker, less durable, and causing the magic of the user being 5 times less effective." - Ouranos said, causing Bell to go wide eyed at the simplicity of the device.

"Understood, may I ask who made this?" - Bell asked out of curiosity.

"His name is Fels, he wears a black cloak that covers his whole body, he is also the person who would help you if you ever ran into a Xenos."

"Understood, I also leveled up a little over a week ago, I was wondering if I can hold off on revealing it for a little while longer?"

"Permission granted, Is there anything else you wish to ask about?" - Ouranos said, wondering if Yhwach had any more questions.

"That is all for now, thanks again Ouranos." - Bell said to the old god with a smile, causing his lips to raise in response.

"Of course, Yhwach." - Ouranos said, as the feed connecting the 2 of them cut off.

After having his conversation with Ouranos, Bell went to sleep.

Time skip: next morning

After everyone inside of the Wandenreich was up, they had breakfast, as then both Lily and Bell waited for the arrival of Ais so they could continue their training. After Ais arrived, they all greeted each other before continuing what they did yesterday. However, Ais is now able to cut 3 trees in half horizontally with the amount of power Bell permitted her to use with the sword he gave her, as she was now practicing on small rocks. As for Lily, she was now working on perfecting her control over her Schrift, The Thunderbolt, to maximize her power output whilst also having near perfect control over it. In turn, causing her spiritual pressure to rise at an alarming rate, as she was now above the level of a seated officer of the Soul Society, but slightly below that of a Lieutenant.

Bell however, is currently on the 15th floor in the dungeon with a gravity bracelet that was currently on 3x normal gravity. On top of that, he also is under the effects of a Poison potion, making him a lot weaker and slower than he normally is. This forces him to try A LOT harder, resulting in a greater gain in Excelia when his status is updated.

Hestia POV

'After I woke up and ate breakfast with Bell-kun and Lily, I started to make my way over to the Blue Pharmacy. My reasoning for this is to talk with Miach about what Bell told him and to reinforce the fact that Bell told him not to tell anyone unless he says otherwise. On top of that, I haven't really talked to Miach since I have descended down to the lower world, so I would like to catch up with him.' - Hestia thought, as she made her way to the Blue Pharmacy.

As Hestia opened the doors to the Blue Pharmacy, she was greeted by a female dog-person.

"Hello Goddess Hestia, my name is Naaza Erisuis, Mister Bell has told me a lot about you." - Naaza said with a smile directed at Hestia.

"Hi Naaza, I was wondering if I would be able to speak with Miach?"

"Yes Goddess Hestia, I request that you follow me." - Naaza replied with a slight bow before making her way to Miach's office, Hestia in tow right behind her.

As Naaza knocked on the door, a voice could be heard from the other side.

"Who is it?"

"It's Naaza, you have a visitor." - Naaza replied, opening the door to reveal Miach sitting at his desk.

"Hestia! It's been a while, how have you been?" - Miach said in slight surprise and happiness, as Hestia sat on the chair across from him.

"Would you be so kind as to get me and Hestia a cup of Tea please?" - Miach said to Naaza, as she nodded her head before making her way to the kitchen to prepare Tea for the 2 gods.

After Naaza gave the Tea to the 2 gods, she left the room at the request of Miach. Leaving Hestia and Miach to catch up on past events for the rest of the morning and afternoon, as Hestia suddenly coughed, remembering her main purpose of being there in the first place.

"It has been nice talking to you and all Miach, but I wanted to discuss what one of my Familia members told you, specifically Bell and the Quincies." - Hestia said with a serious face, causing Miach to become serious as well.

Hestia then re-states what Bell told Miach about how bad it would be if word got out about his other identity, power, and skills he has, as this could cause a huge uproar in the city. Potentially resulting in multiple deaths that could have been avoided.

"Do you understand Miach?" - Hestia finished, as her facial expression slightly softened.

"Yes, but what about Naaza, she will eventually learn of this one way or another? Like what if she overheard us talking about it one day." - Miach questioned, causing Hestia to sigh in indignation.

"Tell you what, if she ever gets suspicious or asks any questions, get me and Bell-kun to come over here and tell her the story, as I want this to stay hidden for as long as possible." - Hestia said, rubbing her temples as a headache was slowly starting to form.

"I understand, is there anything else I should know?"

"Not right now no, but it's the mid afternoon so I will be taking my leave now" - Hestia said as she got up and made her way to the exit.

"It was nice talking with you Hestia, if you or your Familia is ever in trouble, you know where we are!" - Miach yelled to Hestia.

"I will!" - Hestia replied, as she started to make her way back towards the Wandenreich.

Time skip: 5 days

Nothing notably different had happened in the next 5 days, as Lily, Bell, and Ais continued their respective training. But on the 3rd day however, Ais was finally able to cut down the huge rock, resulting in Ais quietly cheating for herself, as Bell, Lily, and Hestia congratulated her on her achievement.

After Ais accomplished this, she quickly made her way back to the Twilight manor, getting an update from Loki, resulting in this change in status.

After reading her status over, she found that her Swordsmanship developmental ability had gone up 2 ranks, she was THRILLED, as she was practically shaking with excitement, as she made her way over to the Wandenreich to thank Bell. When she arrived however, she immediately ran over to him and tightly hugged him, saying thank you over and over again for over an hour. Within this hour, at some point, Bell had fallen asleep, resulting in Ais giving him another lap pillow.

But over the next 2 days, she dove into the dungeon so she could see the results of her training with Bell. Lets just say that the results were a lot better than she expected.

As before, Ais had felt a slight resistance when she cut through an Obsidian soldier because of its hard obsidian armor which spawns on the 37th floor. But now however, she was able to cut through it with absolutely no resistance, proving that the training was beneficial.

Bell however, continued to wear the Gravity Bracelet when he went down in the dungeon along with almost constantly being under the effects of the Poison Potion. After 4 days of repeating this process, the mix of the Gravity Bracelet and Poison Potion and killing monsters nonstop, caused him to get a massive increase in his status.

Magic:

Firebolt - No chant magic that shoots a bolt of fire from the user's hand.

Skills:

Liaris Freeze Plus - Accelerated growth and learning speed depending on how strong the user's feelings are towards achieving their goal, current multiplier, 30x. Increases the max status points to XXX2000. Side effects make the user immune to all curses and charms. Also allows the user to gain all developmental abilities available when a level up occurs. All the people in the users familia also get their growth speed increased by 15x along with increasing their status limit to X1500. Side effects include allowing all familia members to be immune to charms along with allowing them to gain 2 developmental abilities upon a level up.

Argonaut - By using their magic, the user is able to charge up for a single powerful attack. The longer the charge, the stronger the attack. Current limit is 3 minutes.

The Almighty, Schrift A - When activated, it splits the user's pupil into 2 pupils along with a white cloak with black flames coming off of it to encompass the user's limbs and torso that resembles a blanket. As for the last day, she trained nonstop with Bell in close quarters combat, increasing her status, as she was very close to maxing out her status so she could level up.

"He is so wonderful, isn't he Ottar" - Freya said, as she continued to watch Bell from her from the top of Babel.

"Hm." - Ottar grunted in response.

"Say, I think he needs a little push… why don't you get a strong monster to give him that little extra push?" - Freya asked Ottar with a mischievous smile.

"It shall be done." - Ottar said, as he made his way down into the dungeon to find a worthy monster to fulfill his goddesses request.

Scene change: The Blue Pharmacy

"Hello Naaza, I was wondering if you could make me 15 of those Poison Potions, but instead, make the ones that are 3x more potent that only last an hour along with 12 more of the regular Poison Potions please?" - Bell asked, as Naaza sighed, unable to find a reason for why Bell would need such a thing.

"I was also wondering if I could have 25 lesser potions and 10 high potions please." - Bell said, causing Naaza's eyes to briefly switch to dollar signs, before turning back to normal.

"Ok Bell, I will be right back." - Naaza replied, as she went into the back of the shop to retrieve the said potions.

Soon after she left, Naaza set down 2 boxes, 1 with the health potions which were labeled as either High or Lesser Potions, as the other box had Poison Potions labeled as either potent or regular.

"That will be 132,540 Valis." - Naaza said, causing Bell to inwardly flinch before handing her the sack of Valis.

"Nice doing business with you Bell, come again!" - Naaza yelled at Bell, as he made his way out of the Blue Pharmacy.

'Even though I make that much everytime I go into the dungeon, it still hurts losing so much "hard" earned money so quickly.' - Bell thought, as he cried anime tears.

After Bell made it back to the Wandenreich, he had a conversation with Lily.

"Alright Lily, I know that you have gotten really far in your training in both regular status and in your Quincy powers, all that is left is for you to get field practice, aka, go in the dungeon with me." - Bell said, causing Lily to get excited, which was slightly toned down by Bell before he continued.

"However, the 2 swords I gave you were made out of a low quality light steel, as you need something of higher quality once you level up." - Bell said, causing Lily to nod her head in agreement.

"With that being said, I think it's about time we get some sleep, especially since we have such a big day tomorrow." - Bell said, slightly giving a nudge to Lily, as they made their way to their own rooms and fell asleep.

Time skip: The next morning

Bell POV

'As usual, I was the first person to wake up, so I had to make breakfast so Lily and I would be at full energy when we entered the dungeon, along with a packed lunch for the both of us which took 45 minutes, as when I was done eating, Lily and Hestia came down to eat as well. As I then made my way over to our equipment to make sure everything was packed and ready. So when Lily was done eating, she got her equipment ready, as she and Bell made their way towards the dungeon. As Lily and I arrived at the dungeon, I quickly and discreetly drank a potent Poison Potion. However, I soon noticed why it is so dangerous to drink this more potent variation of the Poison Potion, as it felt the exact same as it felt when I drank a Poison Potion for the first time. As we made our way into the dungeon, everything seemed relatively normal. However, that soon changed when we got to the 7th floor, as we were only able to find a couple of monsters. But on the 8th floor, we weren't able to find anything, causing alarm bells to go off in my head.

However, when we got to the 9th floor, not only did we not see anyone or anything, but it was also dead silent, as the only sound that could be heard was the breathing of Lily and I along with our walking.

That soon changed however, as we then heard a roar, footsteps soon following along with the sound of something sharp being dragged on the floor.

"A minotaur on the 9th floor? This shouldn't be possible!" - Lily yelled in confusion.

'This isn't just any regular Minotaur either, as it is red with black horns and slightly more muscular, but based on its size, it seems to be even more agile than a regular Minotaur. What truly surprises me is that it is wielding a black sword. But something seems familiar about this Minotaur, it's like, it's like I fought this specific Minotaur before… Wait, could it be? It's the same Irregular Minotaur I fought on the 16th floor. Although, in the state we are both currently in, we are relatively the same strength. Not only that, the spiritual energy coming from it is similar to that of a Lieutenant.' - Bell thought, but was soon brought back to reality as the Minotaur charged at Lily with its sword.

Bell however, quickly grabbed Lily and moved out of the way of the swing from the giant beast.

But before Bell quickly dispatched the monster, he felt the gaze of Freya on him, causing him to grind his teeth in annoyance, as this is most likely another one of her ploys.

"Lily, I want you to listen to me very closely, you need to get out of here right now, I can't go all out since someone is watching me, more specifically a god." - Bell said to the frozen Lily, as she then snapped out of it.

Lily, playing along with Bell, ran off in a random direction, screaming like a little girl. Causing Bell to inwardly smirk at Lily, as she was following along with his ploy.

Bell however, had to dodge an overhead swing from the Minotaur, as he responded with a swing of his sword. What surprised him however, was that the Minotaur was able to dodge and punch him in the gut. But since Bell not only was under the effects of the Gravity Bracelet at 5x normal gravity and the Potent Poison Potion, he could be compared with a high level 1 adventurer, based on physical powers anyways. The only reason he was doing as well as he was, is because he has godlike skills with his swordsmanship.

But because of his weakened state, when he was punched in the gut, he was sent flying into the wall at the opposite side of the dungeon, smashing into the wall, breaking his armor. Giving him a concussion and causing him to cough up large amounts of blood.

Scene change: With the Loki Familia

"What a buzz kill." - Bete said, as their expedition had failed before it had fully even started.

"Stop complaining Bete, we wouldn't have known that Revis had planned an attack on us." - Finn said to Bete, causing him to give a low snarl in annoyance.

However, before the other members of the Familia could make their thoughts known, they saw a Prum with a small head wound.

"Please, help Master Bell, he is on the 9th floor of the dungeon fighting off a Minotaur." - Lily said, causing Ais's eyes to widen in worry, as she activated Spirit Ariel at full power and rushed to the 9th floor as fast as she could, as the other members of her Familia tried to catch up.

As she got closer however, she was blocked by a Boaz.

"King?" - Ais said in confusion, as the now revealed Ottar pulled out a sword and pointed it at Ais.

"Sword Princess, I challenge you to a fight to the death." - Ottar said, causing Ais's eyes to turn cold, as she took a deep breath, remembering the training she had with Bell and the things he had taught her, resulting in the increase in knowledge and skill of being a Swordswoman.

"Spirit Ariel." - Ais said, as Ottar noticed the wind that surrounded Ais to be a darker color of green then it was before.

However, Ottar was not expecting the strength in speed behind Ais's attacks, as he was barely able to block the blows that Ais sent at him. But just before things could escalate, Finn, Bete, and Tiona stepped in and stopped Ottar from activating his Berserker skill.

Ais taking this opportunity, quickly continued to make her way towards Bell.

"Quick running will ya!" - Bete said, pursuing Ais.

"Wait for me!" - Tiona said, as she was also pursuing Ais.

Before Ottar could chase after them however, he was stopped by Finn and Riviera, as Riviera was currently healing a knocked out Lily.

"King, is this an order from Lady Freya or are you acting on your own accord?" - Finn said, preparing his spear and readying himself for battle.

"I act on my own accord." - Ottar replied with a small grunt, as he started walking away.

Scene change: Bell vs the Minotaur

As Bell kept on trying to get up after colliding into the wall and spitting up blood in the process, he noticed a yellow haired girl standing in front of him, causing his eyes to go wide in surprise.

"Ais?" - Bell said in a weak voice.

"You have done really well Bell, I will take it from here." - Ais said, as Bete and Tiona then arrived, making their way towards the duo.

'Nah, fuck that, I resfuse to be saved, this is a battle that I refuse to get help in, as this is a personal rivalry between me and him.' - Bell said, as he got up on his feet and put a hand on Ais's shoulder, causing her to look over her shoulder.

"Ais, please, I need to do this on my own, as I have a grudge that monster for hurting Lily." - Bell said, as he slowly walked in front of the Minotaur once again.

"What an idiotic weakling, he is going to get himself killed. Wait a second… Is that the tomato brat? What is with him and running into Minotaurs!" - Bete said with a laugh, however, that was soon interrupted by a gasp from Ais, as he paid more attention to the fight.

Bell, ignoring the side comment from Bete, decided that he would use 1 Quincy technique, as it could simply be passed on as a regular magic attack. As he began to pour his Reiryoku into Zangetsu, causing it to have a solid blue aura surrounding it that seemed to leak off blue fire, as it now looked the EXACT same as the sword he used when he had his final clash against Ichigo.

With his sword now at full power, he ran at the Minotaur in a burst of speed, fainting a stab to its chest to a slice at its neck. In response, the Minotaur used its forearm to block Bell's attack, causing him to gasp in surprise. But what made his eyes widen even more, was that on the tip of its still intact horn, a ball of red energy started to form, causing alarm bells to go off in Bell's head, as a feeling of familiarity came over him. That soon turned to shock however as he realized that the red orb was made out of highly condensed spiritual energy, as it was then shot at him, creating a red beam.

The beam of pure Spiritual Energy colliding with Bell was the scene that Riveria, Finn and Lily saw, as they were now next to the other members of their Familia members, as they all had wide eyes.

"Bell!" - Ais yelled in worry, as the other members of her party had a similar thought. 'WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!', as Ais was about to run at him to see if he was ok, before surprisingly, she was stopped by Lily.

"Dont." - Was all Lily said, as she adorned a calm expression.

Inwardly however, her thoughts were in a mess, as she began to panic slightly.

'That was no normal attack, as if I remember correctly, that was a Cero which is an attack used by Hollows! But how in the hell is it able to do that? More importantly, based on what Bell told me about the different ranks of Soul Reapers, that attack was strong enough to kill a Lieutenant and injure a Captain!' - Lily's thoughts were soon interrupted however, as she noticed Bell with an outstretched hand that was throbbing a Blue pattern, completely uninjured. However, the same could not be said for his clothes, as he now only had part of his shirt remaining along with his magical indestructible pants that somehow never seem to get torn, exposing his privates in the process.

What a mystery…

'Tch, I should have known better. It seems that using my Quincy abilities caused you to gain a resistance to them. As for the Cero, it seems that the spiritual pressure at the time combined with your own, increases your own Spiritual Pressure, resulting in you gaining Hollow-like abilities. But I don't understand, why Hollows? Wouldn't it make more sense to gain Quincy abilities instead?' - Bell thought, as he let out a chuckle, causing the people watching him to think he had gone insane.

"Truly a display of power, although that won't be enough to defeat me." - Bell said, as he quickly rushed to the Minotaur, enhancing his leg with Blut Vene, as he then kicked it in the chest, causing it to roar in agony, as the Minotaur was then sent flying into the wall.

But before the Minotaur could recover, itself along with the other people watching Bell, saw sparkles surrounding Bell's hand, as the sound of bells rapidly ringing could be heard, before Bell yelled.

"Firebolt!" - Bell yelled, as a large and hot Firebolt hit the Minotaur, causing it to groan in pain, pissing it off in the process.

As faster than anyone had time to react, the Minotaur threw its sword at Bell, forcing Bell to block. The Minotaur quickly took this opportunity to grab Bell by the ankle and slam him into the ground, cracking it and breaking Bell's right arm, as he also suffered the effects of whiplash.

Bell, with his experience in battle, used this to his advantage, as he then got the Minotaur pinned on the ground, performing an arm bar, dislocating the Minotaurs shoulder causing it to scream in a mix of anger and pain. As it used the horn it still had to stab into Bell's leg, biting him and tearing out a chunk of flesh.

"What the hell… This is insane." - The usually bubbly Amazon known as Tiona said, as she now had a dead tone with a slightly green face at the brutality she was witnessing.

Bete, Riveria, and Finn just continued to watch on in silence, as they were ready to jump in the moment it seemed like the adventurer before them needed assistance.

Ais and Lily however, were currently trying to hold back tears in nervousness, as they were praying that Bell would be victorious.

As Bell screamed in pain, he was then filled with rage at the situation he now found himself in, as he quickly added even more Reiatsu into Zangetsu, piercing through the shoulder of the Minotaur, cueing it to release him, as he then sliced outwards, creating a massive gash in the Minotaurs shoulder.

The Minotaur, in its rage, grabbed Bell and flung him in the air, grabbing its sword and trying to cleave Bell in half, which was deflected.

During this time, Bell had been quick charging Argonaut in his sword, as after 30 seconds of charging and trading blows, he was ready for his final attack, as his time limit with Argonaut was up since he was quick charging.

"HAAAAAA!"

"RAHHHHHHHH!" - Bell and the Minotaur screamed, as they charged at one another.

"That idiot." - Bete said, thinking Bell was gonna lose.

"It's not over yet." - Lily said, having a guess on what would happen.

As he charged towards the Minotaur, Bell casted firebolt on his sword, as he dodged the ram of the raging Minotaur, as he raised his sword above his head and swung down with all the force he could manage in his current state.

"GETSUGA, TENSHO!" - Bell yelled at the top of his lungs, as a massive arc of fire and lightning flung through the air, slicing the Minotaur in half horizontally, as it then exploded because of the fire power. All that was left as proof of its existence was a magic stone and Minotaur horn.

"Finally…" - Bell said in a tired voice, as he fell on his back, passing out from exhaustion.

As Bell laid down, passed out, the entire floor was dead silent, until a certain Amazon spoke up.

"That was, so, AWESOME, WAY TO GO ARGONAUT!" - Tiona finished with a scream, as she started dancing.

Bete however, simply scowled in annoyance but slight admiration, as he left.

Lily simply had a smile on her face, as she knew that even if Yhwach struggled for a bit, he would still come out victorious.

Whilst the others such as Riviera and Finn simply stared.

On the other hand, Ais was currently looking at Bell with a blush on her face, noticing that his body was a lot more defined than she thought since he was always wearing that strange outfit.

Scene change: The Tower of Babel

"My, what a magnificent soul." - Freya said, pleasuring herself as she watched Bell fight.

"You will be mine soon, Bell." - She said with a pleased face, as she continued to watch Bell sleep.

Time skip: 8 hours

"Ugh, where am I?" - Bell said, as he woke up, feeling his sore body and lingering headache.

"Easy Bell, you are in the Dian Cetch Familia because you were injured after your battle with the Minotaur." - Lily said, as she was currently sitting next to Bell.

"How long have I been out for?"

"8 hours." - A new voice replied, revealing it to be Amid.

"Geez, has there been any issues during my recovery?" - Bell asked, aware of Amids prowess in healing magic.

"Other than a few broken bones, flesh wounds, a concussion, and a deep flesh wound on your shin, nothing really caused any complications." - Amid said, receiving a nod from Bell.

Bell then paid the required amount of Valis for his healing, and he and Lily started to make their way back to the Hestia Familia.

"BELL!" - The missile known as Hestia screamed, as she launched herself at Bell, as he caught her with no difficulty and returned her embrace.

"I heard what happened in the dungeon, be more careful next time" - Hestia yelled half heartedly, as she sobbed on the front of Bell's trench coat.

Bell smiled warmly at his goddess, reassuring her that he was okay, as he now had a request for her.

"Say Hestia, I was wondering if you could update me and Lily's statuses?" - Bell asked Hestia, as she smiled brightly at him.

Of course!" - Hestia replied, as she jumped on Bell's back energetically, receiving a grunt of surprise from him, as she began to update his status, before doing the same with Lily.

"Congratulations Bell, not only have your stats increased, but you have also filled the requirements in order to level up." - Hestia said, as she handed over his status sheet and waited for Lily before looking at him.

"Wow Lily! You can level up!" - Hestia yelled, causing Bell to smile.

"Do I have any developmental abilities?" - Lily asked Hestia, excitement oozing off of her.

"Yes, you have 2. They are Hunter and Abnormal Resistance." - Hestia answered, receiving a nod from Lily, as she updated her status.

Hestia then handed Lily her status sheet, as both her and Bell began to look them over.

After Hestia and Lily read over their statuses, Lily couldn't help but get excited, as she couldn't wait to test her new strength. Thankfully, Bell was able to calm her down before she got ahead of herself.

"Easy Lily, I still need to get new armor since mine was destroyed. Along with that, you need to get new swords since the ones I gave you were very low quality, hell, I am surprised they were able to withstand the lightning coating you gave them when you were using your Schrift." - Bell said, as Lily and Bell yawned.

"You 2 had a long day and are obviously tired, you 2 need to get some rest." - Hestia said, as she pushed them both to their prospective rooms.

The second that Bell and Lily hit their beds, they immediately fell asleep, causing Hesita to smile.

"Sleep well, Lily, Bell."- Hestia whispered to the 2 of them, as she made her way towards her own room to sleep.
