The only thing here that belongs to me is Kei. Everything else is property someone who is not me.

Mob Psycho 100 was created by ONE.

"Wake up."

Someone groaned.

"Hey. You need to wake up now."

"Five more minutessss..." he slurred, half asleep, the words accompanied with the sound of rolling over.

The woman- impatient- landed a kick on Reigen's side.

"Ow!" He jumped, eyes snapping open. Mob, sitting up from the floor, hair a mess, said, "Shishou?"

Reigen muttered an "I'm fine" before standing with only a little difficulty (ignoring how old that made him feel) and adjusting his cheap suit. "Where are we?"

Ritsu rose with an aura of darkness, making the dark-haired woman standing at the center of the room jump slightly.

"What's going on?" He said, but it was less of a question and more of a statement.

The woman looked only a little nervous when she said, "We're going to have to wait for everyone else to wake up."

Ritsu looked around and choked.

The entire school, teachers and all, lay passed out on the floor.

"What's going on?" Mob joined him.

The woman let out a piercing whistle. About half the school shot up, shouting random things or gibberish, which managed to wake the other half.

Through the uproar, the woman whistled again, shrill, a real New York taxicab whistle. As a grudging silence fell, she clapped her hands and grinned broadly. Stepping back, she said, "Hi! I'm Kei."

Before anyone could interrupt, she continued. "So! You are currently residing in a handy little place I call a 'pocket dimension.' Meaning, you are isolated from your world with no way of getting back."

Uproar. Screaming.

"BUT!" She shouted over the noise. This leads to an expecting quiet.

"I can send you back. After you're done."

Reigen spoke up. "Done with what?" She grinned and he felt a chill go down his spine.

"Once you're done watching your show."

Kei plowed on, trying to explain everything before the room exploded with noise again. "So, a show was made from your lives- or, more accurately, the lives of one specific person among you.

"There are also some people here who are not from your school!" She gestured at Teru, who waved nervously, and Reigen, who nodded. "They're here because they're also important."

"So take a seat-" cushy couches, beanbags, and other comfy chairs materialized out of thin air, making a few kids fall over, because they had appeared under their unfortunate feet- "And enjoy."

Grinning, she added, "And I haven't blocked anyone's psychic powers, by the way. But try not to wreck anything or I will take them away. Temporarily, that is."

Stunned students took seats as a huge television unfolded from the wall. It looked like some high-tech movie theater.

"Did she say psychic powers?"

"Who knows?"

"How the fU-"

"Language!"

The teachers took charge, moving the students accordingly, friends next to friends. They took seats in the back.

"Okay. I guess this is happening."

The television switched on.

A barren landscape is shown. Pink bubble-looking things fly by.

"What are those?" Several people cried.

"I like the music," one boy said shyly.

The orbs converge into a flashing ball. The ball opens to reveal a dark figure, no more than a silhouette.

Mob, his mind still reeling from her explanation, tensed up, the imagery like a wake-up slap to the face.

On his right, Ritsu frowned. So it's about Nii-san? Not surprising. His eyes flicked to Kei, watching with a small smile, gaze entirely unreadable.

If she shows anything Nii-san is uncomfortable with, I'll end this.

Her eyes flashed to him as if she could read his thoughts.

Teru sat on the floor, near the right side of the couch, head tipped back slightly.

Reigen, on Mob's left side, rested his chin on his hand, leaning to the side, a little nervous. He had adjusted easier than the kids. Now his mind was wandering to other things.

That's stupid, he chastised himself. There's no way he doesn't know I'm not psychic by now, right?

Right?

It looks up, glowing white eyes flashing as lightning crackles down its face.

"Um, what the FU-"

"Don't finish that sentence," one math teacher barked.

Mob felt a chill run down his spine.

Numbers flashed across the screen.

"That's concerning tHAT'S VERY CONCERNING-"

"Shh!" Someone hissed, and everyone else was inclined to agree with her.

Monsters came at the figure, glowing with a red aura. The figure turned its head, lightning flashing as the creature is blown to pieces. The earth erupts, a red wormlike monster bursting into the air.

Several people flinched, feeling a little concerned for the on-screen figure.

"This is one of our classmates, right? So this happened?"

"No," Kei responded. "It's an intro of sorts. Although there is a musical intro. Which, I should add, you will also see."

A few students wondered about that.

The red worm shot a ball of energy, which exploded, sending the figure flying. It lands on a floating piece of rock, a shield around it. The creature shoots again, but the figure is gone. The rock it had been on breaks.

Fast...

Energy washes over the land as trees are blown away.

The number tick up faster.

"Why do I get the feeling that that isn't good?"

It's not, Mob thought. Sweat beaded on his face. Reigen noticed his discomfort, biting his lip slightly.

"Don't worry, Mob," he said, infusing the low words with some of his usual confidence. "I'm sure it'll be fine."

He didn't know if it would be fine, but his student relaxed slightly. "Thank you, Shishou."

Ritsu glared at the con man, who met his stare evenly.

The earth is torn open, the solitary black figure floating in the destruction. Suddenly, a giant blue hognose snake closes its jaws over the figure.

"UM, WHAT IS EVEN GOING ON?"

"Done. I'm done. THIS IS INSANE!"

Is it Mob? I can't tell if those are psychic powers... Tsubomi, near the front, thought.

The figure held the snake's jaws open, firm. In moments the creature is in pieces. The figure floats again, blank white eyes flashing, as it turns its head towards the figures once again surrounding it. Chunks of rock are suspended in the air around it. A long serpent slithers in.

They attack the figure, but it dodges effortlessly.

Several teachers felt uneasy. This was one of their students, right?

Who?

Sparks fly as the moon leers down at it.

"That's one creepy-ass moon!"

"Did you see the buttons? It was a school uniform!"

"Who...?" One student mutters.

They shifted in their seats, glancing around. Who was the psychic among them?

Mob felt more and more panicked, and a little sick. Reigen almost put a hand on his arm, but paused and just repeated, "Don't worry," voice quiet but forceful.

Ritsu took his other arm, perhaps a little harder than necessary.

He gave them both a soft, small smile before turning back to the screen.

The figure is seized, but the monster holding it explodes, sending the figure tumbling through the air, debris going with it. It slammed into a large, flat rock, cracking it and sending it flipping through the air a few times.

A large, blue creature comes at it, but a dark hand reaches out and destroys it.

"Whoa."

"That was creepy."

Something slams into the rock, shattering it. One of the creatures has the figure in its tentacles and raises it up to its mouth.

A bubble appears around the figure as it blows off the tentacles.

The figure's head rolls and numbers shoot up rapidly.

"OH SHI-"

"That's a lot more then last time-"

"How did it increase that much?"

The thing starts to look up.

82

83

84

"It's still climbing?"

"Why do I have a bad feeling about it reaching what ever number it needs to?"

Mob leaned toward Reigen slightly, the knuckles of his left hand slightly paler than usual from his tight grip on the couch fabric.

Ritsu felt a pang of jealousy but pushed it away.

The figure had fully looked up.

90

"IT'S GONNA HAPPEN," one student yelled, not really knowing what 'it' was, causing mutters to go through the amassed crowd, who were slowly getting more and more interested.

Its mouth opens, eyes glowing red with white pupils. A ball of energy explodes around it.

Its mouth is open in what seems like a silent scream.

A loud ringing sound plays as the figure hits 100%.

"Oh my-"

Mob took a deep breath, shaking a little, but for the most part still okay..

A ball of white washes over the screen as an explosion rings, wiping out everything. The screen fades to white.

Words flash on the screen.
