Chapter 17
I arrived back in the Enterprise reality to a nice relaxing meal with the captain and T'Pol. During the course of our conversation T'Pol was asked about a visit she made to a small town. This lead to the telling of a story of the first time Vulcans landed on earth. This time wasn't in the history books. It was an interesting story but I wasn't sure if my Vulcan lover was having us on or not.
Unfortunately the peace was not to last. As we discovered a Menshara class planet the ship was rocked with an explosion. My cruiser was far off behind us so didn't pick up the threat of the mine field we just entered.
"Archer to engineering," I heard over the intercom.
"Captain what's going on," I asked.
"I was hoping you could tell me," Archer responded.
"We've got plasma fires and overloaded EPS grids. Whatever caused that fire I don't have a clue. If I had to hazard a guess I would say it was an external explosive. If the sensors didn't pick it up I would imagine it's cloaked. I would recommend deploying the quantum beacon. The shield went up as soon as the explosion started so there isn't much damage beyond that one compartment," I answered.
"How are your people," the captain asked.
"A few bumps and bruises but we are alright," I answered.
"Keep me posted Archer out," stated.
My nanites were telling me Hoshi was injured but nothing too serious. They would prevent her from getting any worse. I began organizing my people before heading off to sick bay. Walking in I saw Hoshi lying on one of the beds. Walking up to her I placed a device on my hand before activating it.
A golden glow came out of the device as I concentrated.
"Commander Tucker just what do you think you are doing," Phlox asked as he came over.
"I'm directly stimulating her cells to heal with mitochondrial energy. This is a little device I've been working on for a while and I thought you could use it now," I told him.
"Amazing," he watched with wide eyes as Hoshi's bruises disappeared and she woke up.
"Her scans show her fully healed," Phlox said as he scanned her.
I quickly showed Phlox how to use the device that was based off the Goauld hand held healing device.
"Thanks lover," Hoshi told me before giving me a kiss and heading back to her post.
A minute later another explosion rocked the ship but this time it was halted by the erect shield.
"Captain what the hell is going on," I asked over the nearest com.
"You were right. It was a mine field. Travis is taking us out of it now. The shield prevented another one from impacting our hull," Archer answered.
Making my way to the bridge to give a better report, I came on in time to see us pulling just outside the mine field.
"How bad is it," the captain asked.
"I can't really tell until we get into the decompressed sections but I imagine it's pretty ugly," I answered.
"I've got one piece of good news. We did a head count and we didn't lose anyone," I finished my report.
A few minutes later a ship decloaked and sent us a message. They were from the Romulan Star Empire. They were ordering us to leave the system. Thank goodness I healed Hoshi so she could translate. We left the system as requested.
Four Days Later…
"It's incredible we're still in one piece," the captain informed me as he looked up at the damage to the ship from the Romulan mine.
"At least the internal shield emitters caught the rest of the blast," I responded.
"Yes, thankfully we had those emitters. At least the outer shields are sealing the breach," the captain agreed.
"Speaking of shields I've come up with a way to try to prevent this again," I told him.
"Oh do tell," the captain asked curiously.
"Well I've managed to tie in a quantum beacon that constantly runs through various frequencies into our sensor array. It will tell us if we are near something cloaked," I explained.
I made sure that the quantum beacon couldn't detect the cloaking technology on my cruiser. They worked on completely different technologies so my ship is safe.
"That's great," he answered with the first real grin I've seen on his face in days.
"I've also come up with a personal atmospheric shield based off of the design of those aliens that attacked us a while back when we first got the phase cannon up. It should block a blast and maintain a constant atmosphere if something like this happens again. You could be launched into the vacuum of space and survive," I explained as I handed him a small device to clip onto his belt.
"That's amazing Trip! What does it run off of," he asked as he clipped it onto his belt.
"You don't want to know," I answered.
They ran off of a small naquadria power cell. I converted some of the synthesized naquadah to naquadria.
"What's your guess on the repair time for the ship," the captain asked to get back on topic.
"Assuming we can find the right materials three or four months," I answered.
"Are we ok to go at full warp with the shield," he asked.
"It should hold up fine. But if you're going over warp six I'd appreciate a warning so I can divert more power to the shield," I replied.
"I'd like to fix this ourselves without limping back to Jupiter station. We've answered enough calls for help this past year. It's time someone returned the favor," Archer informed me before activating the com.
"Archer to Ensign Sato."
"Go ahead sir," Hoshi's voice replied.
"I want you to get started on a general distress call. Assistance required, minor repairs, don't go into too much detail," Archer ordered.
"Understood sir," Hoshi answered.
"Archer out," he replied turning off the com while we flew back into the ship.
Our distress call was answered by a Tellerite freighter. They directed us to a repair station. We made it there shortly at high warp.
"This is captain archer of the starship Enterprise. We need to make some repairs. I was told you might be willing to help us," the captain transmitted to the station.
There was no answer and we figured out pretty quickly that the station was unmanned. I recommended that we try to board and salvage some of the materials. T'Pol's scans of the interior informed us that the atmosphere was adjusting to suit our needs. The captain, T'Pol, and I went aboard.
We walked down a long white hallway with lighting strips running the length. I wasn't having the station scanned because I wanted to be surprised. I knew we weren't in much danger because I had made a few adjustments to the shield emitters the away teams wore. They could withstand quite a bit more punishment than the everyday shields.
We walked into a main white room where we found a holographic representation of Enterprise.
"They've isolated every hall breach, every damaged system. That's where we scratched the hall a year ago with the inspection pod," I stated as I pointed to a glowing red dot on the hologram.
"I thought I told you to have that repainted," the captain replied.
"I was getting around to it," I answered.
The captain walked around the room to inspect the computer screens on the walls.
"Everything is in English. The ship wasn't the only thing they probed," he stated as he looked at a representation of the human body.
Just then a screen popped out of the wall behind us and a computerized voice stated, "The analysis of your vessel is complete. Select a method of compensation to begin the repair process."
"Who am I speaking with," the captain asked.
"Your inquiry was not recognized," was the response.
"Is there someone here I can speak with," gained the captain the same answer.
"I don't think there's anyone back there," I spoke up.
"Perhaps the station is automated," T'Pol agreed.
"Are you saying you can repair all our systems," the captain asked the computer.
"Select a method of compensation to begin the repair process," the computer answered as several options appeared on the screen before him.
"We can give them either three warp coils, five deuterium injectors, or two hundred liters of warp plasma," the captain read off the screen.
"We can spare the warp plasma with the ion neutrino power generator producing most of our power," I answered his unasked question.
"If we agree to these terms how long will the repairs take," the captain asked the computer.
"Time to completion thirty-two point two earth hours," the computer answered.
"I'm telling you the boys at Jupiter station would take three months," I informed the captain.
"It's a fair exchange," T'Pol urged the captain to accept.
The captain selected the warp plasma option.
"Compensation will be due upon completion. Your vessel will then immediately disengage from the station. All personnel are required to vacate areas that are being repaired," the computer informed us as we heard the station begin to work.
"The recreation facility is now available to all personnel. Enjoy your visit," the station informed us as another door opened.
We began to explore their recreation facility and found a matter energy converter. It reminded me of some of the earlier versions the Alterans used.
"I believe it's a molecular synthesizer of some kind. It's similar to a protein resequencer but far more advanced. A water cold," T'Pol informed us before calling out an order.
"I saw a similar device on a Tarkalian vessel. It was capable of replicating almost any inanimate object," T'Pol informed after she took a drink of her water.
"We could make all the spare parts we need with one of these in engineering. I wonder what else is on the menu. One pan fried catfish," I stated.
"Not bad," I informed them after taking a bite.
"I doubt there's a catfish within one hundred and thirty light years," the captain replied.
"It's genome is stored in Enterprise's computer as is the recipe. The station evidently scanned our database," T'Pol replied.
"It would have been nice to have been asked. I can only imagine what else this thing knows about us," the captain stated before leaving back to the ship.
The captain was suspicious of the deal we were getting. I thought maybe that this species was just a little nicer than most of the ones we were used to dealing with. When Travis turned up dead in an off limits section of the ship I had to revise my opinion.
"He suffered isolytic burns to most of his system. I can't be certain until I perform the post mortem," I heard Phlox tell the captain.
"It looks like he was trying to tap into the EPS grid when it overloaded," I informed the captain from his scans.
"Why the hell would he come down here and start tampering with the power systems during his off hours," the captain asked.
"I don't think he did," I answered.
"Could you explain that please," the captain asked.
"I don't think that was Travis. We know that station can replicate almost anything. It wouldn't be much trouble to replicate a corpse. I think it abducted Travis," I stated to a shocked captain, Malcolm, and T'Pol.
"Why would it do that," T'Pol asked.
"I've done some scans of the station after this happened and the results reveal that either they have a more advanced computer system than I've ever come across so far or they are using biological computers," I explained.
"You mean brains," Malcolm clarified.
I nodded in confirmation. I did the scans of the station with my cruiser. It was easily able to penetrate the shielded room that held the biological computer.
"The human brain is a very powerful computer," T'Pol spoke up.
"If this is true how do we get Travis back," the captain asked.
"I've been thinking about that," I responded as I began to explain my plan.
An hour later on the bridge…
"The repairs are completed in three…two…one," T'Pol stated.
"The arms have undocked and the ship is demanding payment," Hoshi stated.
"Send over our 'payment' Trip," the captain ordered with a vindictive grin.
I activated the remote transporter and beamed over a container. The plasma coolant exploded almost as soon as it rematerialized close to the cloaking field generator. Our sensors were suddenly able to get a lock on Travis.
"Beaming Travis over now. We have him," I announced.
"Pull us away from the station," the captain ordered.
"The ship is trying to attach the docking arms and it's trying to tap into the umbilical ports," Hoshi spoke up.
Trying was the operative word as I let the umbilical ports release a larger fraction of the ion generator. The station's umbilical arms were melted to slag as they were pumped full of way more energy than they could handle. Malcolm fired beams from the phase cannon to slice off the arms that tried to hold us. We pulled away from the dock.
"I recommend putting some distance between us and the station," I announced as I beamed over a second surprise.
We sped away as the small naquadria bomb detonated and vaporized the station.
"Wow," the captain stated as we saw the explosion on the view screen.
"Captain I managed to get us a little bit of something extra for our troubles," I stated with a grin.
"And what would that be Trip?"
"I downloaded complete designs to that station with all of its technology. I should be able to build one of those energy to matter converters within a week. Jupiter station will also be getting some nice upgrades as soon as I send them the designs. Their computer will be a little bit bigger than the stations but within reason," I informed the bridge.
Everybody on that bridge was grinning madly. Even my Vulcan lover was showing a rare smile.
The first real test of the new energy to matter converter I built was performed only a few days after I completed it. One of our plasma injectors went bad. I was able to make a new one with the e to m converter (energy to matter converter).
About a week later an agitated T'Pol came to see me. She told me about her time working for Vulcan security and her failure to capture a turned operative named Meinos. The Vulcan security directorate had just located Meinos and wanted T'Pol to retrieve him as a matter of honor. She had gone to the captain to explain that he would be contacted by Admiral Forest soon to grant her a shuttle pod and a pilot for the mission. She didn't tell him any details.
"Let me talk to him," I told an agitated T'Pol as I rubbed her back soothingly.
"Thank you Trip. You always know how to calm these emotions I feel," she responded.
T'Pol had long ago stopped denying her emotions to me. So I am better able to help her.
A few minutes later outside the captain's quarters…
"Come in," I heard the captain call out.
I entered to find him reading over a data tablet.
"What can I do for you Trip," he asked.
"I came to request that I be allowed to pilot the shuttle for T'Pol," I requested.
"Ah…yes the Vulcan mission. I just got off with Admiral Forest," he said as he laid down the data tablet.
"I assume she told you more about this mysterious mission than she told me," Archer stated.
"Yes sir…without betraying her trust I can tell you it involves apprehending a criminal that T'Pol wasn't able to get years ago while working for the Vulcan security forces," I told him.
"That's good enough for me coming from you Trip. You're approved to pilot the shuttle," he told me.
"Thank you sir," I replied.
"If that is all you are dismissed," he informed me before I walked out the door.
I found great amusement in T'Pol's response to this news.
"If you give a guy a little he'll not be so damn curious and want to know more," I informed my Vulcan lover.
"These human subtleties always escape me," she replied.
"That's why you have me as your guide," I answered with a grin.
"In many ways," she stated before she kissed me.
We soon arrived in the Pernaiah system where the security force had located Meinos. We flew down into the snowy planet and landed at a bar. Walking into the noisy place I knew this wasn't going to be very pleasant. Meinos was a security force under cover agent that had been surgically altered to portray a smuggler of synthetic bio toxins. He didn't want to come back after his mission was over. T'Pol used her hand scanner to track his Vulcan DNA.
"He's here," she informed me as she checked her scanner readings.
"Where?"
"Within thirty meters," she answered me.
T'Pol saw Meinos first until a big brute of an alien rudely shoved her out of the way. I was at her side pretty quickly as I elbowed the alien in the side of the neck where my nanite scans had revealed a pressure point rested. The brute dropped to the floor out cold.
"Meinos saw me," T'Pol informed me.
"Which way did he go," I asked.
"I'm not certain," she answered.
We didn't have to wonder for long as energy weapon shots missed my head. I walked out in the open and let my shield take the energy blasts as I fired one precision stun phaser shot to his forehead. He went down quickly, unconscious. We shackled him quickly and then showed our warrant to the bar owner.
"Your warrant is valid but you won't be able to take him anywhere for a while," the owner informed us.
It turned out there was a layer of cleaning acid on the landing pad between us and our ship.
"We'll keep Meinos unconscious for a while," I decided.
"A good idea," T'Pol answered haltingly.
"What's wrong honey," I asked sensing her anxiety right away over our bond as she stared at Meinos.
"Memories are starting to return to me. I had the Falara performed on me after I was forced to shoot Josin, Meinos' partner," T'Pol explained.
My cruiser supplied the information on the Falara to me from the Vulcan database. It was basically a memory charm.
"You doubted whether or not you were right in shooting him," I stated more than asked.
"He began to pull his weapon on me but…," she trailed off.
I pulled her into a hug.
"Honey, it's never easy to take a life. You will have to deal with these emotions but I will be there to help you every step of the way," I told her.
"You always know what to say to calm me," she informed me as we broke from our hug.
"It's my job," I answered with a grin.
"Now what do you say we get out of here," I asked.
"But the acid…," she trailed off.
"There are other ways," I told her.
We ended up teleporting up to the Enterprise and remote piloting the shuttle pod back to the ship. After turning over the prisoner to the Vulcan ship that had arrived T'Pol was in a much better frame of mind. She informed me that the Vulcan ship had impounded Meinos' ship and searched it, finding synthetic bio toxins in a hidden section. The kind of things Josin and Meinos were obviously up to helped ease her guilt a bit, but it would still be a work in progress to help her through it. Luckily the women I choose to take as lovers all have some very positive traits in common; they are strong and they are survivors.
A near disaster occurred when Malcolm left his communicator on a pre-warp planet he, Archer, and Hoshi were visiting. The technology was way beyond anything that civilization had yet come up with. Luckily the sensor resolution I upgraded Enterprise with shortly after I came onboard allowed the transporter to get a lock. We beamed the device back aboard. A mysterious disappearance was better than locals getting their hands on that advanced technology.
Planning Room, the bridge…
"You're sure it's a black hole," Archer asked T'Pol for confirmation.
"A class four," she answered.
"According to the Vulcan star charts your people have surveyed more than 2000 of these things," said Archer.
"That's correct but none of them were part of a trinary star system," T'Pol stated as she brought up a detailed map of the system we were approaching.
"How close can we get," Archer asked.
"Gravitational shear is extreme so we would need to drop to impulse but we should be able to approach to within five million kilometers," T'Pol answered.
"Close enough to get some nice pictures," I joked.
"How long would it take to reach the system at maximum impulse," Archer asked.
"One day with the enhancements Trip has made to the ship," she answered.
"Set a course," Archer ordered before we began to leave.
The captain called me back with a, "Trip."
"Yes captain," I asked.
"If you've got some free time I'd love it if you would take a look at my chair."
"What seems to be the problem with it captain," I asked.
"You may have noticed that I don't sit in it very much. It's uncomfortable. When I lean back I feel like I'm about to slide out of it," he explained.
"I'll take a look at it right away sir," I informed him.
"Thanks Trip," he replied before leaving.
A quick analysis of the problem by one of my AI programs found that the height just needed lowered a bit. The chair was too tall for the captain. I didn't even bother with tools as I transfigured the chair to the right height.
An hour later in T'Pol's quarters…
"Here's your sensor interface love. What's the problem," I asked as I came into my lover's quarters.
"This trinary system is emitting some unusual radiation. I'm trying to identify it," she explained.
I looked over her shoulder at her readings but didn't immediately recognize the type of radiation. That should have been enough to peak my curiosity but I was suddenly caught up in the intoxicating aroma of my lover's scent.
"Mmm…you smell good honey," I whispered in her hear before kissing her ear tip like she always loves.
"Trip I have to analyze these scans," she moaned as a shiver went down her spine.
"They can wait," I told her as I practically attacked her with lust.
A few hours later we left her quarters to find the entire crew behaving erratically. They were obsessive and irrational in anything they were pursuing.
"Well I think we just found out the effects of that radiation on the crew," I told my lover.
"Why don't you seem to be affected," she asked.
"Um…we should go have the doctor declare a medical emergency," I deflected.
We walked into sick bay to find the doctor about to operate on Travis.
"What seems to be the problem doctor," I asked Phlox.
"I'm going to get to the bottom of what is causing Ensign Maywheather's headaches. I'm going to remove the first twelve millimeters of his parietal lobe. A sub cellular analysis of the tissue should reveal the cause," Phlox answered as he held up a scalpel.
I pointed a finger at him and hit him with a stunner. I caught him with my telekinesis and set him on a bed. I turned to face my wide eyed lover.
"I suppose there is no time to tell you like the present that I'm not exactly human," I informed her sheepishly.
"I had guessed that this was a possibility when you didn't seem to be affected by the radiation," T'Pol answered.
"I wouldn't say unaffected. I'm pretty sure it just turned me on," I answered thinking of the sex we just had.
"So what are you," she asked.
"It would be easier to show you," I answered as I drew her into my mind with a look in her eyes.
T'Pol gazed into her lovers bright eyes and found herself reliving his life at a blinding speed. Her lover had experienced so much.
"So what do you think," I asked after I pulled out of her mind.
"I think that this really doesn't change that you are the same man I fell in love with. There is just a whole lot more to you than I knew. I also think I'd like to get a look at some of the technology databases you have," she replied calmly.
"That can be arranged," I answered with a smile as I turned conscious control of her nanites over to her.
They would enable her to access the database on my cruiser. We soon left the infirmary and found Hoshi. I informed her of the same information as our Vulcan lover.
"My answer is the same as T'Pol's. You are still the man I've fallen in love with. Well I guess you are still the sex god I've fallen in love with," she said with a wink.
It was pretty simple to alter the personal shields all crew wore to block out the black hole radiation now that I knew it was harmful. I could have done that in the first place instead of explaining to my lovers about me but I felt it was time for the truth. The crew was now able to safely navigate by the black hole.
"So what exactly did you do to the chair? It feels much better," Archer asked as he sat in his chair.
"I lowered it a couple of centimeters," I answered with a grin.
"Huh," was his only response.
It was another eventful day on the Enterprise as my two lovers decided to test out my true stamina now that they knew about it. It was a very fun night.
Hoshi had a fear of the transporter that I helped her get over now that she knew about the real me. We beamed back and forth between the Enterprise and my cruiser using the more advanced transporter.
"I prefer apparition and flaming more because I get to be wrapped in your arms," Hoshi informed me before capturing my lips in a kiss.
"I think I like them more as well," I answered with a goofy grin from the kiss.
Her new found confidence came in handy when a storm came up suddenly on a planet we were examining ruins on. I flamed her aboard the ship while having the ship's computer register that we used the transporter. We just piloted the shuttle back remotely after the storm let up.
A few days later…
I was sitting in my quarters enjoying a bit of harmonica playing. It was a past time of I actually enjoy. I felt us drop out of warp and noticed a cargo ship pulling up alongside the Enterprise.
"Archer to commander tucker," the com chirped.
"Go ahead," I responded.
"I know you're off duty but we've got visitors," the captain informed me.
"I can see that," I responded.
"Are you up for a little repair work," he asked.
"Yes sir."
"Meet me at docking port two," he ordered.
"On my way," I answered turning off the com.
"Is it anything serious," I asked the captain as I joined up with him and T'Pol on our way to the docking port a minute later.
"They said they were having trouble with one of their life support systems," he answered.
"Who's they," I asked.
"Retellian cargo pilots," T'Pol answered.
The captain opened the airlock and we were greeted by two Retellians.
"Welcome aboard," the captain greeted as he shook their hands.
"Gracious of you to help us captain. We were beginning to think our distress call would never be answered," the cargo pilot greeted.
"This is Subcommander T'Pol and my Chief Engineer Commander Tucker," the captain introduced.
"Our salvation," the second Retellian greeted me.
"The captain said something about life support," I asked.
"We were hired to return a young woman to her home world. A few days ago her stasis pod began to malfunction," the cargo pilot explained.
"Stasis, is she injured," Archer asked.
"No, no she's a passenger but our ship is designed to haul cargo, not people. It's a very long journey so putting her in suspended animation was our only choice," the pilot explained.
"We have another five months ahead of us. If she wakes up there won't be enough food, air to breathe. If we are forced to abort the mission we won't get… paid," the second Retellian explained.
I didn't miss the stutter as he looked at his pilot nervously and said paid. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on these two.
"Commander Tucker is resourceful. I'm sure he'll be able to assist you," my Vulcan lover assured the pair.
"Mind if I have a look," I asked.
"Please," the second one invited as we walked into his ship.
The ship was cluttered and messy. The Retellian led me into the cargo chamber and showed me a console.
"This regulates power to the bio pod," he explained.
"It looks very…creative," I decided was the right wording.
"The relays are from an old Ardanan shuttle. They weren't designed to carry this much current," he explained.
"I've got some EPS conduits that might do the trick," I stated before walking over to the pod and examining the controls.
"This would be a lot easier if I could read your language. If you don't mind I'd like to ask our communications officer to give me a hand."
"By all means," he consented.
I rubbed some ice off the cover and noticed that the woman inside was very beautiful. Now I have even more of a reason to have Hoshi come over. Before my reason was so that we could just spend some time together. I could read the language easily enough through one of the Alteran translation programs.
"Is there a problem," the Retellian asked nervously.
"No, no problem. I'm going to need some tools from Enterprise. With a little luck sleeping beauty here will never know there was a problem," I informed him while thinking the exact opposite if the tied hands I saw her sporting were any indication.
A half hour later…
"Trip," Hoshi called out as she walked into the cargo hold.
"Right here love," I answered as I climbed out of the deck plating.
She was staring into the stasis pod.
"So this is who you wanted my opinion on," Hoshi asked.
"Yes, what do you think," I asked.
"Hmmm…I think I approve. She's definitely very attractive. You know I'm glad you explained that whole your aura making us bisexual thing otherwise I would think I'm crazy. I find myself immensely attracted to anybody you are attracted to," Hoshi stated as she rubbed her ass against my crotch.
"Someone is excited," I commented with a smile.
"When are you going to wake her," Hoshi asked.
"In a few minutes," I answered.
"Got time for a quickie?"
"Always for you love," I answered with a grin as she unzipped her jumpsuit.
A few minutes later, after a grinning Hoshi left, I woke the captive up by triggering a simulated malfunction. When I was opening the cover the Retellian pilot showed back up.
"What are you doing," he shouted as he grabbed my shoulder.
"Help me open this thing before she suffocates," I yelled back.
That got his attention as he tried to use the console.
"Don't bother the release is jammed," I informed him as I pretended to struggle with the cover.
As I pulled it open I acted like I was trying to calm the distraught captive while letting myself get hit in the back of the head with a metal bar that resembled a tire iron. In reality I barely felt the hit as a tap. I acted unconscious.
"Are you sure about this plan Trip," Hoshi asked nervously over a nanite subspace link.
"Completely love. You know nothing they can do is going to hurt me," I answered.
My words seemed to calm my lover's nerves.
The pilot ended up breaking loose from the Enterprise after a short fire fight as he escaped the ship. The Enterprise soon caught up and hit one of the nacelles, thinking they disabled the cargo ship's propulsion. I could tell there were backup systems in place. The cargo pilot dropped out of warp. The Enterprise crew made the mistake of assuming there was no weapon on board the cargo ship that could even make it past their hull plating. Conventionally, they would have been right.
The crafty cargo pilot vented some coolant used in his engine onto the Enterprise. It made it past the thought not needed shield (therefore not activated) and prevented the Enterprise from pursuing as the cargo pilot escaped into warp.
As soon as I "came to" I was struck in the back again by the tire iron from the beautiful captive.
She shouted at me in her native language.
"What the hell did you do that for? I'm not working with them lady," I informed her.
She continued to hold her weapon threateningly and shout at me.
"To hell with this," I stated as I rushed forward and grabbed the tire iron.
I pulled the struggling woman against me as I relieved her of her weapon. I threw it back into the hold where she wouldn't be able to find it quickly before locating my translator.
"Speak some more," I instructed.
Her response was some cussing as I pretended to let the translator do the work of allowing us to communicate. Before it could finish the cargo pilot came in with weapon aimed.
"What the hell is going on," I asked.
"Is it repaired," he asked.
"Where's Captain Archer," I asked instead of answering.
"Your ship is a long way from here," the pilot answered.
The beautiful captive swore at him in what sounded like an angry purr over my shoulder as she hid behind me.
"Repair the pod so we can put her back in stasis," he ordered.
"It's going to take a few hours," I answered.
"Work quickly," he said threateningly before he left.
"That's better," I stated as the universal translator from Enterprise kicked in a few minutes later.
"How long have I been in stasis," she asked.
"You'd have to ask them," I said as I nodded towards the bridge.
"Commander Tucker to Enterprise," I tried the communicator for show, knowing the ship was quite a distance away.
"You are an officer," she asked.
"Chief Engineer…it feels like we've gone to warp."
"Explain yourself. What do you know about my abductors," she questioned in a commanding tone.
"We thought they were cargo pilots. They claimed you were their passenger," I informed her.
"I am a prisoner. I was returning from a diplomatic mission when they attacked my transport, murdered my guards," she explained.
"You don't know who I am do you," she asked after a moment.
"Should I," I asked.
"My family is known on hundreds of worlds," she looked at me in surprise and curiosity.
"Well I'm afraid Earth isn't one of them. So I take it you aren't a doctor."
"I am First Monarch of the sovereign dynasty of Krios Prime," she answered regally.
"Oh…Charles Tucker the Third, pleased to meet you. So what do these guys want?"
"Ransom…no doubt they'll demand a high price for my safe return."
"Listen, my captain will be looking for me. All we have to do is get off this ship and let him know where we are."
"And how do you propose we do that?"
"I saw a shuttle bay earlier. There were a couple of escape pods."
"You're not going anywhere," she ordered me like that was the end of that.
"I beg your pardon," I responded as I walked over to a wall panel.
"We'll remain here until they contact the sovereign guard. Once the ransom has been paid we'll be released."
"If it's all the same to you I'd rather take my chances in open space."
"It's too dangerous. If you leave it would provoke them."
"If I remember right this access tube leads to a junction near the shuttle bay," I explained as I knelt in front of the opening.
"You are not to leave this chamber," she tried ordering again.
"With all due respect I'm not one of your subjects," I answered, to which she had no response as she suddenly realized I was right.
She refused to help me out at all while I was working.
"You must be one hell of a diplomat," I told her sarcastically.
"Is your entire species so ill mannered," she asked.
"Nope, just me."
"You know if you were thinking rationally you would be repairing that stasis pod."
"Which is why I'm not doing that. There is no doubt they would kill me as soon as I fix that pod. I realize you are not used to taking advice from a guy like me but I strongly suggest you come along."
"He'd never harm me. I'm too valuable to them," she answered haughtily.
"Keep telling yourself that. Almost every hostage situation I've been involved with has ended badly for the hostage if they didn't help themselves."
"You're correct Mr. Tucker. I don't take advice from people like you," she answered haughtily as she knelt right behind me.
I got a sense of satisfaction as I instructed my nanites to overload the power conduits I was working on to make it seem like I was finished. The resulting arc of current scared her enough to jump back in fright.
"You know, that stasis pod won't fix itself. Chances are you're going to spend the next five months tied up in this grimy little cargo hold. That's not exactly my idea of a royal voyage," I told her.
"I'll be fine," she answered haughtily.
"When I get back to Enterprise I'll make sure we get a message to your home world, Krios…?"
"Krios Prime," she answered.
"Take care," I told her as I began to enter the crawl space.
"Once you launch an escape pod what makes you think they won't destroy it," she asked before I even entered the opening.
"I'm going to reroute their internal sensors. I'll be a million kilometers away before they know I'm gone. I'm much better company."
She took me up on my offer so we crawled into the tight opening.
"How much further," she asked a few minutes later.
"Just a few more meters."
"Are you sure this is the right direction?"
"Keep your voice down. What am I supposed to call you anyway? First monarch, your highness?"
"Kaitaama," she answered.
I soon had the internal sensors rerouted and Kaitaama and I quickly crawled to the escape pods. She had to let me get her down out of the crawl space. She ended up pressed up against me again. I had to resist the urge to take her right there as I drank in her intoxicating beauty and scent. I could tell she was extremely attracted to me as well.
"This is meant for one person," she said as I opened the stasis pod door.
"We'll have to make due unless you know how to pilot one of these."
I enjoyed watching her expose a lot of leg as she ripped her dress into a skirt to make it in the pod. I won't go into the journey in the pod but we did find a planet a day's journey away that would support life. It was a rough landing but we made it unscathed.
We came to a truce of sorts to try to get along. I found out she has never been on more than a few dates before she was chosen to ascend to first monarch. That just made the sexual tension we were both feeling more interesting. When we climbed out of the pod it was to find ourselves in a swamp.
"This heat is unbearable," Kaitaama complained a few minutes later as we walked through the high water.
"It's nothing compared to a summer in the everglades. At least there aren't any mosquitoes."
"Where are we going," she asked as she stumbled and I caught her.
"Over there. It looks like a good place to set up camp."
"Your vessel will never find us here."
"Don't underestimate my crew."
"You're bleeding," she noticed as I worked to clear out a space for us on a small dry island.
"It's just a scratch."
"Remove your uniform," she ordered.
"I'll take care of it later."
"We have no idea what microbes live in this environment. It could become infected."
"It will be fine until later," I answered thinking that no microbes were going to do me in.
"You're my only hope of surviving here Mr. Tucker. I don't intend to let you die."
I realized that she was concerned for me because it meant she was at risk so I complied.
"This one," I instructed as I handed her a salve from the first aid kit.
"Hold still. The provisions won't last for more than a day."
"It sounds like there's plenty of wild life. I grew up in a place kind of like this. I don't think we're going to starve. I can start a fire pretty easily so we can boil some water."
"Thanks," I stated as she finished bandaging me up.
I could tell Kaitaama was getting really aroused from her smell. The fact that I'm probably the first shirtless male she has ever seen probably didn't help either.
"You're welcome."
A few minutes later she stomped back onto the island after I had assigned her the task of finding some wood.
"That's the best you can do?"
"There is very little dry wood. You find some. You are obviously better suited for physical labor."
"In case you didn't notice we aren't in a palace. You said it yourself that you won't survive without me. It seems to me that makes me the ruler around here, the king of the swamp. Now get your ass out there and get some dry wood."
"I should have you imprisoned for speaking to me that way," she heatedly informed me as she got two inches away from my face with her own.
"You should give me a medal. You'd be dead if it weren't for me."
"I'm beginning to think that would be preferable!"
"I doubt the commoners back home would complain!"
She took a swing at me and I blocked it. We went down rolling in the mud until we were both in the water.
"How dare you," she exclaimed as we crawled back onto land.
"You're the one who took a swing at me."
"You insulted the first monarch."
"I'm just a petty commoner remember, raised on a primitive...," my words were cut off as she grabbed my head and kissed me.
I rested my hands on her hips as I returned the heated kiss.
Insert smut scene here
I awoke from our cuddling nap a while later to get a drink of water. I heard a beeping noise and when I investigated found it was a tracking device from the escape pod.
"What's wrong," Kaitaama asked.
"A homing beacon. Someone just locked onto it."
"Your vessel?"
"No way to tell," I answered.
I could see she looked worried.
"Don't worry. I won't let anything happen to you," I told her as I wrapped her in my arms.
I was amused as her hands rested on my ass. It appears she is as much of an ass lover as me. I was not upset about that fact in the least.
About an hour later I was hiding as I had sensed the cargo pilot landing. As he was hiding behind the escape pod and taking aim at a fake dummy of me I snuck up behind him. I was floating above the water so he couldn't hear me. I snapped the assholes neck like a twig. I left him floating in the water as I made my way back to my new lover.
"He's taken care of," I informed her.
"Good. I will be sure to agree that it was self defense," she stated as I explained human moral code to her a while back.
"Kaitaama I'm going to explain a few things to you before my crew can get here. They will be here in a few minutes. At no point when you were with me were you in any actual danger."
She opened her mouth to protest but I silenced her with a kiss.
"I'm more than I appear," I told her before showing her the same I did T'Pol and Hoshi recently.
"Oh my god," she said in awe afterwards.
"I prefer Trip," I answered with a grin.
"I learned a lot from you," she stated to explain she wasn't upset with me.
"I know. I would like this to continue between you and I so I'm going to give you a bracelet. Whenever you want to visit me just think it and it will happen. This will mean anytime. You will be replaced with a nanite based construct that will carry out your duties. You will be transported to me via my remote transporter technology through a stargate. There are also nanites in your body now that will stop your aging and heal you from any wound," I explained as I handed her the bracelet my cruiser constructed in orbit a few minutes ago and just beamed down.
I was attacked by a very grateful Kaitaama as she kissed me many times in thanks. A few minutes later we were interrupted by the captain.
"Were we interrupting anything Trip," he asked.
"Not at all sir," I answered with a grin.
Even I was surprised how often my offer would be taken up by Kaitaama in the future but I was not at all displeased by it. She got along great with T'Pol and Hoshi as they showed her how to be more humble and in general be a better person. This would in turn help her to be a better ruler. All in all it was a good day as I acquired a new bond mate/wife.
A few days later we were about to explore a new planet with a ship arrived carrying three aliens requesting sanctuary on Enterprise. A neutronic wave front was heading our way. At their suggestion as soon as they were aboard we went to high warp. Warp 7 was the minimum speed required to out run the deadly radiation. We dropped the three off far away from where we picked them up.
About a week later I was testing some upgrades to the autopilot in one of the shuttles when I came under attack by a slightly larger vessel. Apparently they thought I invaded their territory. My shields took the blasts before my canons started returning fire. I left them disabled in orbit as I headed back to Enterprise. We quickly left that system so we didn't have to deal with anymore trouble.
A week later Enterprise stopped over at a planet hosting an Interspecies Medical Exchange. One of Phlox's wives Freezal happened to be there so came aboard for a visit. When she took a liking to me that I could tell was sexual interest I decided to redirect her attentions. There were two things stopping me from accepting her advances. The first hindrance was that I simply wasn't attracted to her very much. I could see that she was a good specimen of her species but Denobulans don't seem to hold my interest.
The second reason I didn't have sex with her was because she already has several husbands. So far every woman I've had sex with in the recent past has ended up soul bonded to me. I'm fairly certain I could prevent a bond forming but usually don't want to. I have no idea how a bond would change the relationship Freezal has with her husbands. So when Malcolm told me he would accept her advances in a heartbeat I decided to use a bit of my power to redirect her attention to him. Malcolm was definitely not complaining.
While this was all going on I had the AI on my cruiser hack into the files of the contingent of Vulcan doctors at the conference. This was how I acquired the latest research on P'Nar syndrome, which T'Pol contracted when Tolaris forced a failed mind meld on her. She is in no life threatening danger and I'm fairly confident that I'll eventually find a cure.
Three days later…
I was currently having dinner with the captain and T'Pol as the Enterprise sped towards Pon B'Car, a planet the Vulcans and Andorians have been fighting over for over a century.
"I've been reading about Pon B'Car in the Vulcan database. It doesn't say a lot; class D, not much bigger than earth's moon, claimed by the Vulcan's in 2097," Archer stated to T'Pol.
"Class D, that's uninhabitable. Why are you fighting over it," I asked.
"When the Andorians first arrived a century ago they began to terraform the planet. Once an atmosphere was developed they established a settlement," T'Pol explained.
"If it was unclaimed at the time why would there be a problem," the captain asked.
"Its sole value is its strategic location near Vulcan space," she answered.
"They were setting up a military base," I guessed.
"It was the only logical conclusion," T'Pol agreed.
"The Andorians refused to let the high command examine the colony so they annexed the planet as part of their territory," T'Pol continued.
"What happened to the Andorian colonists," the captain asked.
"They were removed."
Neither the captain nor I needed an explanation of her short reply.
"A surveillance satellite was put into orbit and the colony has been abandoned ever since," T'Pol stated.
"Until now," the captain replied.
From there the conversation turned to lighter topics than our current mission. Captain Archer had been specifically requested to help mediate a cease fire between Andorian and Vulcan forces. After another day's travel we soon arrived.
"Welcome aboard ambassador," Archer greeted S'Vol.
"Thank you captain. This is Subcommander Neuroc," S'Vol replied.
"T'Pol's been filling me in on the situation here but I still have a lot of questions," Archer began as he gestured for our guests to take a seat.
"If you don't mind captain I have a question of my own," S'Vol replied.
"Why would an officer of the Andorian Imperial Guard personally request your involvement," S'Vol asked accusingly.
"I don't understand. I was told you asked for me."
"I'm involved in extremely difficult and delicate negotiations. I don't consider your presence here an asset."
"If that's how you feel we'll gladly continue with our mission," the captain said as he stood up while suppressing his anger.
"Six days ago an Imperial regimental commander named Shran landed a force on the planet and occupied the settlement," S'Vol explained.
"Shran," Archer said as he looked back at me.
That name definitely makes the situation make a whole lot more sense.
"Naturally we tried to enforce the treaty of 2097," S'Vol continued.
"We've regained control of half the colony. But two dozen Vulcans have been wounded while three have been taken hostage," Neuroc spoke up.
"Shran has agreed to discuss terms for their safe return but only if you act as mediator," S'Vol admitted with an expression like he was swallowing something nasty.
"For some reason he finds you trustworthy," the ambassador admitted.
"You're asking for my help," Archer stated as he savored the moment.
"Yes captain I'm asking for your help."
"I'll see what I can do."
From there the conversation turned to S'Vol trying to get Neuroc taken along. The captain demanded T'Pol go instead. The ambassador backed down. I walked my lover back to her quarters so she could prepare.
"You will be careful won't you," I asked as we stood in her quarters.
"Relax lover. I'm perfectly safe with all the safeguards you have put into place," T'Pol answered before leaning in and capturing my mouth in a kiss.
"Besides I've got you up here watching out for me," she smirked as she left for the shuttle bay.
She was completely right. A week ago I upgraded the physiology of her, Hoshi, and Kaitaama to include the enhancements my other lovers possess. It wasn't too difficult to adapt the enhancements to the species of T'Pol and Kaitaama while maintaining their same outward appearance. Of course they were now almost as strong physically as I am. With the frequency of Kaitaama's visits it was only natural that I reveal all of my nature to her. She took the news quite well. If anything she came around more often.
No matter how much experience I gain I've never been one for diplomacy and politics. As such I mostly got a synopsis of the events happening between the Vulcans and Andorians on the planet. Shran wanted to speak to S'Vol personally. S'Vol had at first refused but eventually came around. Meanwhile three Andorian ships were on their way to provide support for their troops.
Apparently not all of Shran's troops wanted to see the negotiations succeed because one of them opened up on the shuttle on its way down. The shield took the fire and returned it in kind. They continued on course after that but it looked like the negotiations would take a little longer than expected. In the meantime the Andorian vessels arrived in system.
"Range," I ordered the report.
"50,000 kilometers and we're still heading right for the Vulcan ships," Travis answered.
"The Vulcans are charging weapons while the Andorians are responding in kind," Malcolm spoke up.
"Travis lay in a new course. I want you to put us right between them with shields on full," I ordered.
"Yes sir," Travis answered.
"If you don't mind me asking what do you have in mind," Malcolm asked.
I didn't bother answering as I sat in the captain's chair as acting captain.
"We're being hailed by the Vulcans and the Andorians," Hoshi informed me a few minutes later.
"Put them both on," I instructed my lover.
"This is Tucker," I spoke up as Neuroc and an Andorian appeared on the split viewing screen.
"Captain Teller of the imperial guard," the Andorian responded.
"Commander I strongly recommend you withdraw to a safe distance," Neuroc stated.
"I agree. We wouldn't want your vessel to be damaged by debris from the Vulcan ships," the Andorian stated.
"We will not allow the Andorians to land additional troops on Pon B'Car," Neuroc answered.
"It's called Wetan," the Andorian heatedly argued.
"We will supply our troops with anything they need," the Andorian continued.
"Any vessel attempting to land will be fired upon," Neuroc answered.
"That includes yours Subcommander," I spoke up.
"We appreciate your support Commander Tucker," Teller stated.
"You shouldn't. We'll open fire on any vessel that makes an aggressive move," I promised.
"Weapons status," I asked Malcolm.
"Locked and ready," the tactical officer replied.
"This is not a Starfleet matter," Neuroc answered.
"As long as my captain is stuck in the middle of your war zone it is," I answered.
"I can assure you that even though there are five of you and one of us that you won't be getting away if you show any aggression towards us," I stated with a touch of power in my voice.
I had to suppress a smirk as I noticed Teller and Neuroc flinch even over this distance. I can be damn intimidating when I want to be.
A few minutes later the captain contacted us with news that an agreement had been reached after it was discovered that Shran's second in command was the one who fired on our shuttle. Nothing was final but things were calming down with a cease fire in place.
"Put us back in orbit Travis and cancel the tactical alert," I ordered.
I much prefer being an engineer to a starship captain. There are plenty of other realities for that scenario.
I was brought in to examine the small ship Enterprise picked up after it was opened up and the corpse of the pilot was being examined.
"The hull seems to absorb EM radiation. We never would have picked it up on our sensors without all of this damage," Malcolm stated as he scanned the hull.
"Maybe some type of stealth ship," I guessed aloud knowing that was only one feature of the ship.
"So what do you think Travis? Could the pilot could have been a cargo hauler," I asked.
"We're more than thirty light years from the nearest trade route. I don't see how he could have made it out this far," Travis answered.
"Maybe he got a ride from someone," Malcolm guessed.
"No I don't think so. I think this uses a different kind of propulsion altogether," I stated as I climbed inside the ship.
"Did you find something," Malcolm asked.
"I think so," I answered as I pulled a panel out of the floor to reveal a hatch covered by a blue compound.
"What is that," Travis asked.
"Organic circuitry," I answered.
I managed to open the hatch to reveal an expanded inner dimension.
"What is that," Travis asked.
"An expanded inner dimension," I answered.
"Travis run and get the captain down here," I ordered.
He left to do that. Soon the captain arrived with T'Pol in tow.
"What is that," the captain asked upon seeing the larger inside of the ship than the outside would seem to allow for.
"The space inside is expanded to either an artificial dimension or a natural one. I'm not sure which. One would take more power than the other but would be more stable and harder to gain unwanted access to. I think you'll find we are dealing with time travel here captain," I informed him.
They were all staring at me now in shock.
"How could you know that," Archer asked.
"Well after all the dealings we have had with time travelers I've been heavily doing research in that field. Any culture advanced enough to build a ship like this would be capable of time travel. That would also explain why there is no warp drive. Space travel would be easy to accomplish by whatever type of temporal drive they have powering this thing," I informed.
We all went inside the ship where I removed a beacon that would alert the ship's owners to its presence in our time.
"We don't want to set this thing off," I stated before explaining to the others what it is.
"You are right," the captain replied.
As soon as we got out of the ship we were called to the bridge due to a Suliban ship dropping out of warp. They hailed us very quickly.
"You have something that belongs to us," a Suliban informed us.
"I don't believe I've had the pleasure," the captain began before being cut off.
"We have a salvage claim on the vessel in your launch bay. One of our cell ships discovered it three days ago. We were sent to retrieve it."
"That ship's an earth vessel. The pilot is human."
"I'm not interested in the corpse. Decompress your launch bay and release the vessel," the Suliban ordered.
From there things degenerated. The Suliban vessel opened fire but from the moment they exited from warp our shields were up. They soon found out that it was a bad idea to try to teleport through our shield. I grinned as my sensors told me that the travelers were destroyed by the shield. We returned fire. Two shots from our very powerful phase cannons had the attacking vessel disabled. A third made sure they were destroyed.
"Get us out of here Travis. I want us heading back to earth now," the captain ordered.
"Sir I recommend we turn on the cloak," I suggested.
"Do it," Archer responded.
The cloak was a rather recent upgrade I "reverse engineered" from the Suliban ships. In truth it was just something I released from my vast knowledge repository. It was an earlier generation design than the one used on my cruisers but superior to Suliban ships. When a couple of Tholian ships dropped out of warp and ordered us to turn over the vessel we realized that they could track us through our cloak.
That fight was much more difficult to win but we managed. We found the temporal radiation that was leaking through the cloak. I managed to seal it off inside a containment field.
"How long will it take us to get this ship back to earth," Archer asked me.
"At a good speed I'd say four days," I answered.
"Four days?"
"I've made significant improvements to the engine," I answered.
"I'll say. We'll take it ourselves. I don't trust any other ships to be able to match what is being sent at us. Once it's in sol our fleet can protect it," Archer stated.
"I'll see what I can do about stopping that temporal radiation leak," I informed before doing that.
I found the leak in the temporal drive that caused the pilot to get stranded in the first place. It was likely due to some explosion or some very heavy turbulence as he navigated a time/reality stream. These time travelers aren't exactly very advanced in their wormhole technology. That's to be expected since they discovered this at much less than a million years old, which is how long it took Alterans to perfect wormhole technology. That's not even mentioning using it to transverse realities and temporal streams.
We managed to get the ship back to earth without further incident once I stopped the leak. I made sure there was no data in any of the computer systems. Earth would be getting enough of a leap from the hardware on that ship. We were back to our mission within another four days travel time.
While returning from a first contact trip in a shuttle pod with the captain we were attacked by some local officials who accused us of being smugglers. I was very grateful for the shields and weapons as we fought them off. We managed to call Enterprise. When it showed up Enterprise made sure our attackers backed the hell off.
I was working in engineering a week later when I sensed something approaching us from behind. Connecting with T'Pol over a nanite link I found out the situation.
"A ship is approaching from behind. Doors are opening up big enough to swallow our ship," my lover informed me.
I could sense the beings piloting the ship. They were like ascended beings from the Stargate verse except a lot less powerful. In fact I could sense that they wouldn't be able to survive for long outside of subspace, which is why their ship was constantly in subspace.
"I'll take care of this," I sent back over the link.
Activating a site to site transport through my engineering console I sent a little bomb into the center of their ship.
"Captain I suggest you go to really high warp," I informed the bridge over the com.
"Will do," he responded.
A few seconds later the bomb detonated.
"What the hell was that," Archer asked over the com.
"Trust me captain you don't want to know."
"I think I'll take your word for it," he responded after a second.
Thalaron radiation is like a killing curse. Well that bomb just sent out a shock wave of Thalaron radiation followed by a secondary blast as the power source overloaded, taking out the remains of the then pilotless ship. Even the energy beings in that ship wouldn't have survived the initial blast.
On the bridge a minute later…
"I would recommend to all of you a policy of never pissing off Trip if you value your health," the captain informed the bridge after he examined the sensor readings on what remained of the ship that just tried to swallow Enterprise.
Most of the bridge crew was nodding at their captain's suggestion while Hoshi and T'Pol had to suppress a smirk at the antics of their divine lover.
About a week later the Enterprise came across a ship of barely alive refugees. They were fleeing the Klingon Empire. The Empire had annexed their planet, taken all of their resources, and then abandoned them. It wasn't but an hour later when a Klingon vessel showed up to reclaim what they thought of as theirs. A short exchange was carried out between their captain and Archer. It resulted in the Klingon ship firing on us.
"Captain might I suggest using the Thalaron radiation. I don't know about you but I'm tired of getting attacked by these beasts. At least if you acquire their ship and send it back to the boys at Starfleet we'll be better prepared," I recommended over the com as we exchanged fire with the attacking Klingon ship.
"Do it," I heard the captain order Malcolm over the com.
With the Klingon crew dead we quickly took the ship and sent it back to earth. I made sure to disable any tracking devices on the captured vessel.
A few days later the Enterprise reversed course after a subspace call from Admiral Forest. I was called to the bridge for a briefing on our new mission.
"The planet's orbit has shifted, taking it between two gas giants. The gravitational pull has caused the core to super heat," T'Pol explained to the group of gathered senior staff.
"Starfleet thinks it will be covered in erupting volcanoes by the end of the week," Archer continued the explanation.
"This system is almost thirty light years behind us," Travis stated.
"Admiral Forest assures me it's only a temporary detour," Archer replied.
"Some geological fireworks could be fun," I added my two cents.
Travis requested that the ship make a slight detour on our way to the planet. His family's cargo ship, the Horizon, would be only a few hours off our flight path. He hadn't actually spoken with his family in months. It wasn't that we couldn't send a message to them but that they couldn't respond back. Their communications equipment was no where near as advanced as ours.
When we finally did get into communications range the response was not good. Travis' father has been ill for a while now. I was there when Travis was reading the message on the bridge as Hoshi gave him the communications pad.
"Travis what's wrong," I asked as Travis suddenly looked like someone punched him in the gut.
"My dad died thirty minutes ago from a heart attack," he answered as he sat at his station while staring into space.
My mind raced as I thought quickly.
"Travis what are the burial rituals on a cargo ship," I asked.
"The body is sent into space but that would be about a day after someone died," he answered absentmindedly.
"Travis how far are we from the Horizon," I asked again.
"About fifteen minutes," he answered again.
"Get us there as quick as you can," I ordered.
During the rest of the journey Travis explained that his father had been sick for a while now but that his mother, who was the ship's doctor, had been able to help him with some of the new medical knowledge that earth was acquiring. This was knowledge obtained from the various databases we were acquiring after we defeated an enemy and captured their ship. It hadn't been enough though to stave off death. The handheld healing device hasn't been widely distributed yet.
When we got there Travis helped me locate the bio signature of his father's body.
"This will only take a few minutes," I informed Travis as I beamed the body into the lab captain Archer had allowed me to set up for experimentation.
"What will only take a few minutes," Travis asked as we hurried down to my lab.
"You'll see," I told him.
When we got there it was to find Travis' father sitting up in a rectangular shaped container, very much alive.
"How," Travis asked in shock.
"You remember the healing device I created for Dr. Phlox," I asked.
When he nodded yes I continued.
"I created this device. Think of it as the healing device on steroids. It can revive and repair nearly any damage in a recently deceased person," I explained.
"Travis what's going on," his father asked.
"Dad," was the only thing Travis managed to say before he engulfed his father in a hug.
I let them have their few minutes of reunion.
"How can I ever repay you sir," Travis asked as his father stood beside him, looking healthier than the man probably had in years.
"Just don't ever leave a loved one without talking to them like it could be the last time you might speak to them."
"Done," Travis answered with a grin.
When Travis' father was introduced to Captain Archer a few minutes later he and everyone on the bridge was amazed. Phlox was ecstatic about the new toy I created for him. The healing chamber was based off of a sarcophagus but was adaptive for multiple physiologies. The sarcophagus was tailored for Alteran physiology, hence its damaging effects to normal humans. The healing bed would have no such trouble.
"Is there anything you can't do," the captain asked me.
"Perform poorly in bed," T'Pol stated casually.
I suppressed a snicker but Hoshi and Travis had no such restraint. Even Malcolm was oscillating between small smiles and a straight face.
"Yes well…I didn't need to know that," the captain replied before shaking his head and walking off.
The reunion between Travis, his father, and the rest of the Horizon crew was an amazed and tearful one.
"Travis I have one more surprise for you before you take your vacation. You will find that there are parts being transported over to one of your cargo holds. I've taken the liberty of redesigning most of the ship's systems with various upgrades. I synthesized the parts with our synthesizer. On this pad are the instructions on how to install all of the upgrades. One of them is a synthesizer so the crew can maintain all of these upgrades. Without completely replacing the engine I managed to make it so it can achieve warp 4 while using less fuel than it does now."
Travis gaped for a minute before he actually hugged me.
"Thank you so much sir," he said gratefully.
I returned the manly hug before Travis left to inform his family of the new systems their ship was going to get. I could tell from Travis' surface thoughts, which he was projecting at me, that there was a certain female crew member that he was hoping to see again. She was an attractive young woman who was Travis' first in everything sexual. I thought I would aid him along in his quest with a little use of my powers.
I hit him with a spell that would give him a veela like allure for the duration of his stay on the horizon. I also cast a stamina charm of equal length. Even through the hulls of both ships I located the young woman that was the current object of Travis' desire and hit her with an equally strong stamina charm. It was great to be me.
It was very appropriate when the crew watched the Frankenstein movies over the next couple of nights considering what I had just done. T'Pol was reluctant to go but Hoshi, Kaitaama, and I managed to convince her by ganging up on her. There was no way our Vulcan lover could refuse all three of us. T'Pol ended up enjoying the movies. She sat on one side of me while Hoshi sat on another. Kaitaama sat on my lap with a notice me not charm on her keyed to everyone one but her lovers. I enjoyed the movies very much with a hot wiggling monarch on my lap.
When we picked Travis back up we found out that they had been in a bit of a skirmish with some space pirates who tried to take their ship. One of the first things Travis upgraded after the pirates attached a beacon to their hull was the weapons. Having seen for himself the effectiveness of my technology Travis' father stood and fought when the pirates returned. They easily destroyed the pirates so that they wouldn't attack any more earth vessels. Travis was grinning like an idiot when he came back aboard the ship. I could tell from the sexual energy coming off of him that he had put the stamina charm through its paces.
I would have to do something to make sure Travis could visit his lady friend a lot more in the near future.
A few weeks later I helped Malcolm get some as well from a species we encountered called the Vissians. This species has three genders. The first two were like ours but the third, called a cogenitor, helped the other two to reproduce. It appeared at first glance from a human perspective that the cogenitor was having its freedom repressed. Trip before I bonded with him would have sought to do something. I know better than to try to apply human morals to another species.
I left the situation alone as the Vissians and Enterprise studied the nearby hyper-giant. The Vissians had a small ship with extra shielding that allowed the vessel to travel into the upper atmosphere of the star. We were able to do the same with the shield generator on our shuttle. In fact we were even able to take Enterprise in for a short time. We didn't want to risk the ship for too long but it was enough to demonstrate to the Vissians that we are not the inferior race technologically. They showed us their more efficient warp engine (but not faster) and we showed them the medical advances we made recently.
We basically gave them the design of the hand held healing device. We weren't about to show them the designs of our shield generators in case they weren't as friendly as they appear at first glance. All in all it was a very friendly first contact with a new species. I know Malcolm certainly enjoyed his contact with the two females I set him up with.
When Admiral Forest contacted with a problem they needed us to solve a few weeks later the captain called a briefing for senior officers.
"The Admiral thinks they are humanoids enhanced with technology. He believes they abducted the research team," the captain explained.
"We're a long way from the Arctic. What can we do," Malcolm asked.
"Earth's tracking station spotted the transport leaving orbit at warp 3.9," Archer replied.
"Well the transports aren't built for faster than 1.4 but that just means the aliens reconfigured the engines," I stated.
"Captain this all seems really familiar doesn't it? Zefram Cochran," I stated trying to jog his memories.
"The aliens from the future he mentions in several speeches," the captain responded quickly as he had been thinking the same thing.
"Let's say that they are hypothetically from the future. The data from the researchers which was sent before they were abducted indicates that they used nanotechnology to regenerate from being frozen in the ice for over a century. I would recommend that if we do encounter the ship that nobody gets to close. I would be willing to bet that the researchers are now being converted into this species," I continued.
"Is there anything that we can do to free them," the captain asked me, knowing that if anybody could come up with something it would be me.
"Well from the data we know that the nanites they use replace many of the vital organs of any species they assimilate. I think I can moderate our Thalaron generator dishes to project an energy beam that will render the bonds between the nanites inert. Then we can put the infected into a healing bed where their missing organs will be regenerated. If worse comes to worse these creatures need both the biological and mechanical components to continue functioning. If we hit them with a straight Thalaron beam that will kill the biological part and shut them down."
"Let's go with plan A people and save B for a last resort," Archer answered.
"I will get started on tracking their warp signature based off of this heading sent by the earth tracking station," T'Pol stated.
"I'll get started modifying the dishes," I stated.
"Get to it people," the captain ordered before we broke up.
I was called to the bridge when we received an automated distress call from a Tarkalian ship that was being attacked by our nanite enhanced friends. It took us about ten minutes to reach the site of the attack. We found the earth transport heavily modified firing a nasty looking green beam weapon at the disabled vessel which sent the distress signal.
"Open a channel," Archer ordered.
"This is Captain Archer of the Starfleet vessel Enterprise. Stand down your attack or we will open fire," the captain stated.
"They're charging weapons," Malcolm alerted the bridge.
"Some kind of proton burst. The shield is handling it," I spoke up from the station that had been installed for me due to my presence sometimes being required on the bridge.
"Any human bio signs," Archer asked T'Pol
"Nine on the arctic transport but readings are erratic. It is most likely that they are ceasing to be human to our scanners and becoming something else," T'Pol answered.
"Are the weapons modified," the captain asked me as the shield took another blast.
"Ready sir," I answered.
"Proceed with plan A Trip," he ordered.
I activated the weapon and watched as an energy beam identical to the one used against the replicators washed over both the arctic transport and the Tarkalian vessel. The ships stopped moving. I accessed the sensors on my cruiser to give me a better picture of what was happening. It appeared to have worked as the nanites disintegrated into the system of the infected.
"It worked. I'm beaming the crew of both vessels to the healing beds now sir. I'm going to heal them," I stated.
"Be careful Trip," Archer replied before I disappeared to reappear moments later in another vessel.
Enterprise still had at least one escort vessel from one of the fleet of ships we've managed to capture. Due to our relatively new cloaking technology the ship can stay a lot closer. It was to this ship that I beamed the crew. No one else was there to minimize risk of exposure until everything was verified. Without an audience I used my powers to levitate each crew member one by one into the healing bed. I also kept them all unconscious until I was done.
"It is done sir," I stated as I beamed back onto the bridge.
"The crew of both ships," he asked.
"Resting in sick bay sir. I recommend that we send that ship back to earth after I've had a chance to make sure there isn't something on there they aren't ready for," I answered.
"Fantastic work as usual Trip. I trust your judgment as far as the ship," Archer responded.
As it turned out the arctic transport didn't have too many modifications given the time the Borg had to modify it. The Tarkalian crew members gave us the name of the species before we sent them on their way with their repaired ship. Earth would be getting a new proton based beam weapon design. The method the Borg used to upgrade the vessel with faster speed and enhanced weapons systems was also readily apparent after I looked over the vessel.
I would be sending instructions for all of this back to Starfleet. They had recently managed to complete construction on a space station like the one that repaired Enterprise after our encounter with the mine field. The station would be able to upgrade all of the transport vessels very quickly. This means that earth is probably going to have the most effective and the fastest fleet in quite a ways. I didn't feel any remorse at giving earth advanced technology considering how many time travelers they have had to face. A replicator type enemy is one the earth I encountered when I first bonded to Trip would have been ill equipped to deal with effectively.
I'll be making sure that some day when earth encounters the rest of the Borg in the Delta Quadrant that they are well prepared. Luckily we managed to stop the Borg before they could get off a message to the rest of their kind, which I could tell was their next plan. No matter what universe I'm in or how powerful I am I'm still essentially Harry Potter. If there is one thing Harry Potter is known for it is escaping danger by a hairs breadth.
A few days later while preparing to explore a suspected dark matter nebula Admiral Forest informed the captain that our old friend A.G. Robinson had taken a bad fall during a mountain climbing incident. He had died from injuries but was revived using a healing bed. The technology was quickly being implemented all throughout earth hospitals. A.G. would be fine. The captain and I became friends with him back during our days with the NX flight program.
A.G. was scheduled to start captaining one of the retrofitted ships we acquired in combat. He is too impatient to wait for the NX-02 to be completed. The news shook the captain up. He didn't want to let me go on the dark matter mission with him but T'Pol managed to use Starfleet regulations to tag along. In the end they discovered that the nebula was indeed composed of dark matter while Archer regaled my lover with tales of our younger years.
About a week after the dark matter nebula several science teams were on a lush planet we discovered for a bit of research and R&R. The captain and I were called back to the ship when a Tellerite ship showed up. He claimed to be from their mining consortium and offered to show us around the planet. When we met him at the airlock his actions definitely showed his true intent. He attempted to shoot me with an energy weapon only to have the beam hit my energy shield.
He only had time for his eyes to widen before my phase pistol beam was drilling him right between the eyes.
"Nice shot," Archer complimented me.
"Thanks. Let's stick this scumbag in the brig," I replied as I grabbed an arm to drag the unconscious Tellerite behind us.
"Archer to the bridge," the captain barked into his communicator while grabbing the other arm.
"Go ahead sir," my Asian lover answered.
"Have a security team meet us. The Tellerite tried to attack us but our energy shields stopped him. Recall the surface teams. There could be more hostiles in the area," the captain ordered.
"Right away sir," Hoshi answered before shutting off the com.
"I should be able to rig his ship's autopilot to fly him and itself back to the sol system where Starfleet should be able to take care of him. Do you want me to have him medically sedated the entire time or have me rig a replicated phase pistol unit to stun him every time it senses he wakes up?"
With a feral grin at the Tellerite that tried to attack us the captain replied, "The phase pistol."
I was not at all broken up about that decision.
As it turned out the Tellerite was a bounty hunter after the captain. It seems the Klingons had managed to figure out that we took out one of their ships after helping those escaping "citizens."
I first became aware of the situation involving my Vulcan lover when Dr. Phlox contacted me.
"Commander Tucker your assistance is required in the isolation room," my communicator alerted me.
"I'll be right there," I answered before hurrying to the specified location.
"What seems to be the problem Doctor," I asked when I arrived.
"T'Pol has entered a premature mating cycle. She is highly irrational. I don't think I can contain her. The only thing that kept her from attacking me was my promise to contact you. I like the rest of the crew know that you two are lovers. Could I please ask you to take care of her," Phlox asked me.
"No problem doc. I'll just transport directly in there," I answered before doing just that.
"I'll leave you two to it then," Phlox told me as I entered the inner isolation room.
"Hello love. Why didn't you just have your nanites kill the infection?"
"And miss the chance to mate with you? I need your cock in me now," T'Pol replied.
Insert smut scene here
A week later something very bad happened. A senior officers meeting was called. When I walked in Malcolm was speculating about the reason for the meeting.
"Something bad must have happened," Malcolm stated.
"The captain is speaking to Admiral Forest and it's the third time in the last hour," Hoshi announced ominously.
"I've got a pretty good idea what this is about. I need you all to brace yourselves. I'm going to let the captain break the bad news but let me tell you that it is bad," I confirmed.
Just then the captain walked in before anybody could respond to my declaration.
"There's been an attack on earth. A probe that they don't know the origin of fired an energy beam that cut a swath four thousand kilometers long from Florida to Venezuela. There may have been a million casualties," the captain stated without preamble.
"Seven million sir," I stated.
All eyes were on me now.
"How could you know that Trip," the captain asked.
"Captain this is me we are talking about. You didn't think I would work so hard to defend us without taking precautions to protect our home planet did you? I can fix this but I'm going to need your help," I answered in a completely serious tone.
The captain stared at me hard for a minute before he nodded.
"I trust you trip whatever you need," Archer stated.
"Travis you will find a new option available on your console. It will say home. Select that option. Malcolm you will find targeting data in your console. When I tell you to be ready to hit the target with fully powered phase canons," I ordered.
Both men nodded their immediate agreement. They too knew not to cross me when I'm like this.
A few minutes later on the bridge…
"Engaging home feature," Travis stated as he carried out my order.
All of a sudden a purple swirling vortex of energy appeared as a tear in space before us. The ship jumped into the hyperspace window to the shock of the bridge crew.
"Trip what is going on," the captain asked as he stared at the blue energy of hyperspace outside of the view screen.
"This is a higher dimension I call hyperspace. I've been building another engine with the synthesizer in one of the spare cargo compartments. I wouldn't recommend using it except for emergencies because the fuel requirements are quite heavy. I think this counts as an emergency," I answered.
"How fast are we going," he asked.
It was Travis who answered in an amazed voice.
"Sir we will arrive in the sol system in two hours."
The eyes of the bridge crew were on me once again but even wider than before.
"What's the game plan Trip," Archer asked after he took a moment to digest the amazing new engine that Enterprise now possessed.
The hyperspace engine was of course not the fastest I'm capable of designing or even close to the most fuel efficient but I wasn't prepared to give earth or any species in this verse that kind of technology yet.
"I built a satellite that I sent back with one of the ships we captured. I call the satellite a time inversion satellite. Basically it will rewind the time inside the field back ten hours. I designed it to collect the most data it could before doing so, so we will need to act quickly. The coordinates I gave Malcolm are where the probe will come out," I answered.
Archer quickly suppressed his surprise at my discovery of time travel for another time.
"Right I should have guessed that you would find out how to manipulate time after all of the time travelers we've met," the captain stated.
"Sir that is one technology I won't be giving earth. They can search for the cloaked satellite all they want but they won't be finding it."
"That's probably for the best but will they remember that they've traveled back in time if you rewind time," the captain asked confused.
"I've created the technology so that I can control who retains memories of what will becoming a diverging timeline. The entire planet will remember what happen, including those that died. They need to learn from this," I answered.
En route back to earth we had an interesting message from several Suliban ships that tried to get the jump on us. They could barely do more than sense us in hyperspace but it was enough for them to send a message.
"So these Xindi are the ones who attacked us because a faction in the temporal cold war told them earth would destroy them in a couple of hundred years," Malcolm clarified.
"That's what the man from the future said," Archer affirmed.
"Well it certainly will be a lot easier for the Vulcan high command and the people of earth to accept after Trip's satellite does its work," T'Pol stated.
"I would have expected you of all people to be more skeptical," the captain said in surprise.
"I've learned to never doubt anything my lover says, especially when his sister's life is at stake," T'Pol answered while whispering the last part.
"What do you mean," the captain asked.
"His little sister Elizabeth lived in Florida," Hoshi answered for her.
"I'm sorry Trip," the captain told me.
"It doesn't matter. She will be fine in an hour and a half. Unfortunately for the Xindi who did this they will not be fine when I get my hands on them," I said whispering the last part in a tone that made a shiver run down the backs of every mortal present.
When we dropped out of hyperspace in the sol system we were planning to cloak so the Xindi probe wouldn't detect us. Before we could do that we were attacked. One Klingon ship was firing on us.
"We don't have time for this. Destroy that ship," the captain ordered.
"With pleasure sir," Malcolm responded as the ship shook a bit when the shields absorbed the Klingon weapons fire.
A few shots from our phase canons caused a nice fire ball to form from what was once a Klingon battleship.
"Initiating temporal inversion now," I announced.
A visible bubble of energy appeared around the earth. Over seven million people suddenly got a second chance at life. Earth's population couldn't really afford a hit like that. The population had been severely depleted by WWIII, the war over space and resources in a several overpopulated world. After the war many population restriction measures were enacted. The Vulcans gave the people of earth birth control technologically that was one hundred percent effective. With the laws limiting the number of children per couple to two earth was a lot nicer place to be than it was over a century previous.
"Destroying the probe," Malcolm announced as soon as the probe appeared.
Twin beams of phase canon fire lanced out to the probe and vaporized it very quickly.
"Sir I'm having trouble resolving what just happened," Travis asked after we all watched the destruction of the probe.
"It's best not to think to hard on it Travis but I'll try to explain a bit. That probe was one pulled in from another universe identically to our own except for some tiny difference that happened after it was pulled away. Think of it as the region of space that the time inversion encompasses from both realities merging into one. They both had the same memories up to that point. Our reality was just lacking some things that were missing before. That's as simple as I can get," I explained.
"So the Xindi ship that delivered the probe from our universe is long gone thinking that the attack worked," Malcolm asked with a grin.
"Most likely," I answered.
"Sir Admiral Forest is hailing us," Hoshi announced.
"Put him on," Archer ordered.
"John what the hell just happened," a bewildered Admiral asked.
"That could take a while to explain sir. Suffice it to say that I'm not sure there is any limit to Trip's genius," the captain answered as he put a hand on my shoulder.
"You should both transport down immediately and explain," Forest ordered.
"Right away sir," Archer replied before the message was cut off.
Ambassador S'Vol was present when we arrived. We gave them a quick rundown of what exactly just occurred.
"Commander Tucker we can never repay you but we sure as hell will try. Anything you want or need just let me know," a grateful Admiral Forest shook my hand.
I just nodded as I picked up the man's surface thoughts. His daughter had been going to college in the path of the attack. She now had a second chance at life.
"Sir I would like to take Enterprise and find these Xindi," Archer spoke up.
"Normally this message from the Suliban would be a hard pill to swallow but given the demonstration Commander Tucker just performed…," Forest trailed off.
"Do you know where these coordinates of the Xindi are captain," S'Vol asked.
"They are inside the Delphic Expanse," he continued without waiting for an answer.
"What's that," Archer asked.
"It is a region of space nearly two thousand light years across. Vulcan ships have entered it but few have ever returned," S'Vol answered.
"Sounds like you are talking about the Bermuda Triangle," Archer stated.
"There have been reports of fierce and dangerous species, unexplained anomalies. In some regions even the laws of physics don't apply," the ambassador warned.
"You mean the laws of physics as you know them Ambassador," I spoke up.
"Trip has demonstrated that his grasp of the universe is greater in some areas than even your best Vulcan scientists. If anybody can figure out these anomalies it is him," Archer endorsed me.
"How exactly does this hyperspace engine you used to get here so quickly work Commander," S'Vol asked.
"It remains to be seen if you are ready for such a technology," I answered with a straight face.
Admiral Forest couldn't suppress a grin behind S'Vol's back now that the shoe was on the other foot.
"Twenty years ago a Klingon vessel emerged from the expanse. The entire crew had been anatomically inverted, their bodies splayed open. They were still alive," S'Vol switched topics now that he knew that line of questioning wasn't going anywhere anytime soon.
"It's a risk I'm willing to take and I imagine most of my crew would be with me," the captain stated.
"We are with you sir," I spoke up.
My support seemed to sway the Admiral.
"Alright John you have your mission," Forest ordered.
News of what I'd done spread quickly. Within a few hours I was a world hero.
"I find it amusing love that no matter where you go you not only end up becoming a hero but that you end up being immensely famous for it," T'Pol mused in my head over our telepathic link as I transported to the office my sister Lizzie works at.
"Laugh all you want. You will eventually be just as famous as me when our relationship eventually becomes public knowledge," I responded.
"Which shouldn't be too much longer anyway since we won't have to hide it as much. Nobody is going to punish you now Trip," Hoshi stated.
"I recommend a very public orgy," Kaitaama suggested.
"You're just a horny bitch," Hoshi replied jokingly.
"So are you lover," the first monarch of Krios prime replied with equal humor.
I tuned out my wives as I made my way into the engineering firm Lizzie works at. I ignored the people who were staring at me as I headed for her office. As soon as I reached the door I pulled it open and was tackled by a black haired blur.
"Trip! I missed you so much! I can't believe what's going on," Lizzie cried with tears streaming down her cheeks.
I hugged my little sister back. I had never really made the connection before this moment but my little sister was easily recognizable from the memories of my alternate self in the reality where my channel originates from. Lizzie in that reality is a beautiful actress named Liv Tyler. I couldn't help but notice Lizzie was just as beautiful here.
"Shhh…Lizzie everything will be ok," I told her as I wiped away my tears.
I pulled her over to a couch she had in her office and sat down, pulling her into my lap. Not wanting to deal with the gawkers I willed a notice me not charm on the office.
"Trip I was dead. You brought me back," Lizzie replied.
"You weren't dead…it's complicated. None of that matters now because I won't let anybody harm you ever again sis," I told her as I hugged her to me.
"I believe you bro," she said as she leaned her cheek against mine.
We have always been close growing up. I was very protective of her. To this day I'm not sure if my little sister has ever had a date last very long. No man was good enough for my little sister.
Just then I noticed that my body was reacting to having the very nicely shaped woman in my lap.
"Somebody is really happy to see me," Lizzie stated as she wiggled her nice ass on my hard member.
I picked up her surface thoughts easily. My little sister has been harboring a crush on me for years. She was imagining all of the times she had watched me in the shower. I found it amusing that she installed a hidden camera in the bathroom and my bedroom considering I taught her most of the engineering tricks I know. She had spent countless hours masturbating to those videos, some of which included my masturbatory sessions.
Her face was still leaning against mine when my hand came up and turned her head. She so wanted to kiss me right then. I obliged her as I leaned forward and captured her lips. The kiss was gentle and loving but more than just the kind that a brother and sister shared. I channeled my power into my sister and made her climax intensely. I held her as she shivered through her release.
"Trip what is going on," she asked quietly as the kiss and her orgasm ended.
"Shhh…don't worry about it sis. Just go with it," I calmed her.
"So are you leaving soon," she asked.
"Yes but I'm taking you with me."
"What? Are you serious," she asked excitedly.
Lizzie had always wanted to see the stars but had been too young to join Starfleet the last time I was home. Now that she is old enough I sure as hell won't be leaving her behind.
"Yes…now we best be getting you packed."
Lizzie squealed before kissing me passionately again.
She quit her job a few minutes later. Her boss was completely understanding with me there. People were going to be falling all over themselves to please me, especially in this area considering they would be dead otherwise. I took my sister to her apartment and helped her pack her things.
The captain had been only too happy to let me bring my sister along with the Admiral's approval. They could always use more skilled engineers.
Lizzie's quarters were directly across from mine. Hoshi was to one side of mine while T'Pol was to my other side.
"Lizzie I'd like you to meet Hoshi and T'Pol my girlfriends," I introduced.
"Two girlfriends bro…way to go," she responded without being able to keep some sadness out of her voice.
"There is always plenty of your brother to go around," Hoshi told my sister as she hugged her.
Lizzie's face lit up with a smile after that.
A few hours later I was helping Malcolm integrate some upgrades into the ship's power grid.
"Trip I feel sorry for you, your girlfriends and your sister on the same ship…," Malcolm stated as he shook his head.
"Oh I don't know I think it could be quite enjoyable," I answered with a grin at some naughty thoughts.
S'Vol tried once more to get us to reconsider our mission with some video of one of the Vulcan ships which tried to enter the Expanse. It was to no avail. When he tried to order T'Pol back to Vulcan afterwards she resigned her commission on the spot. There was never any doubt as to whether or not my pregnant wife would be leaving me. We launched soon after.
Using the hyperspace engine we arrived at the edge of the Expanse within a few hours. The Expanse was surrounded by a cloud barrier. It looked ominous but we entered. I was anxious to begin a new adventure but it would have to wait. For now it was time for me to visit my lovers and friends back in the Stargate verse. When I came back it would be time to put it to the Xindi.
