Chapter 21
January 29th 2003, In orbit around a new planet…
"Sir I'm detecting five life signs and a crashed ship on the planet below," the sensor analyst announced as he scanned the planet below after we entered orbit.
"Human or alien," asked Jack.
"Three human and two alien and sir I'm picking up energy weapons fire," the man answered.
"Transport them all into separate holding cells in the brig," ordered Jack.
"I'll download the contents of that crashed ship's computer," I announced as I transported away.
A half hour later in the brig…
"Commander Warrick," I addressed the alien in charge.
"Yes," Warrick replied hesitantly.
"I'm sorry to detain you until we could figure out the situation. You'll be glad to know we've started repairing your ship. We can tow you to your home planet in a few hours," I informed Warrick.
"Who are you? That journey would take us months from our current position," asked Warrick in surprise.
"We're your new friends," I answered with a smile.
"I think I'd like that," Warrick agreed before we let his first officer out and led them to get cleaned up.
After being marooned on that planet after his prison ship crashed only to have the prisoners kill most of his crew Warrick and his first officer were very grateful for a hot shower and a warm meal. As we took them home we discussed trading opportunities. Even the old hyperdrive designs we had were leaps and bounds ahead of Warrick's people. There were plenty of trading opportunities with the Hibridians.
February 5th 2003…
When the meeting Teal'c and Bratac attended turned into an ambush they were immediately transported out by their escort. The escort then called in backup to turn the ambushers into ash.
February 12th 2003…
During the shakedown flights of the four new X303 cruisers things went off without a hitch. Any variances in the naquadria reactors which would have caused trouble were compensated for thanks to Tollan designed systems.
February 19th 2003…
When we encountered the poor people on the mining planet which Lord Mot was sucking dry in Ba'al's name we realized we had an opportunity. Here was a planet which the system lords thought worthless but still had a naquadah supply which would take advanced technology to mine. It just so happens that Tollan phase fields could penetrate deep enough to mine the naquadah deposits.
It was very easy to destroy Mot when he arrived to collect his latest tribute. Several cloaked Hatac ships took Mot's one ship out as soon as it dropped out of hyperspace. We supplied the people with education as well as the basic supplies to live by in exchange for allowing us to mine. Jonas did not develop seeing abilities like he did in canon after Nirrti played around with his DNA and gave him a brain tumor.
February 19th 2002, SGC Elevator 1…
As the elevator stopped Sam and I stopped our conversation.
"Hello Oma," I addressed the corner of the elevator.
"You could sense me," the ascended Ancient asked in surprise as she became visible to the human spectrum.
"Yes easily," Sam answered.
"I don't know how it's possible. All of us either ascended or died off but you are Ancient…the only non ascended aren't in this galaxy except for Ayiana," Oma said in confusion.
"I'm assuming you're here to warn us of Anubis going after the eye of Ra," I asked.
"You know," she asked in surprise.
"Yes and I also know Anubis is your little skeleton in the closet," I informed her.
The ascended being paled if that was possible.
"How is it possible?"
"Many things are possible Oma. You know you shouldn't hide your true form from us," Sam stated.
"Yes I can see it now," I said as I walked up and stroked the energy being's cheek.
Oma shuddered at his touch and experienced something she hadn't in over ten thousand years, an orgasm. She was sure it wasn't possible for ascended to experience orgasm but this being just proved her wrong. She was even more surprised to realize she was in her true form.
"Oma…have you been coming to earth and living a double life as an actress," Sam asked as we both gazed upon the beautiful face of Claire Forlani a recognizable British actress.
"It can get boring being an ascended all the time…," Oma/Claire trailed off with a shrug.
"Oma…," I began.
"Claire," she interrupted.
"Claire if you ever get tired of being an ascended you can descend and come live with us. I think you would make an excellent addition to my harem. I'll even take care of Anubis for you," I informed her.
"Thank you for the offer Harry…I'll have to think about it."
"Take your time we're all immortal," Sam said with a shrug.
"You are aren't you," Claire observed as she teleported out.
"You are so bad," Sam said with a laugh as she watched me send an orgasmic wave after the delicious ascended actress.
SGC Briefing Room…
"Do you know why Oma informed you," asked General Hammond after Sam and I informed him of the details we supposedly picked up in the elevator.
"Oma has the hots for him," Sam answered with a big smirk.
"I should have known," muttered Hammond.
"We need to find that eye before Anubis does. You have access to half the fleet. You have a go people," Hammond added.
Abydos Gate Room a half hour later…
"O'Neill, Daniel," Skara greeted with a smile.
"Skara," Jack greeted before giving the Abydonian a hug which Daniel quickly imitated.
"It is good to see you all," Skara greeted.
"You too," Sam answered with a smile.
"I'm Jonas," Jonas introduced himself while Skara shook his hand.
"Good to meet you."
"We are prepared to do whatever you ask," another Abydonian informed us.
"We appreciate that. Sam here will explain what we would like you to do," Jack answered.
My wife led the Abydonian to the side and quickly explained that we want the Abydonians to gather all of their favorite possessions, things they couldn't live without, in the center of their homes. When/if Anubis shows up they were to gather around their possessions and wait.
"Any idea where this eye thing is," asked Jack.
"I will show you," Skara answered as he led the way down into the pyramid.
"The eye of Ra is mentioned many times on these walls," Skara explained.
"We were never able to locate it," Daniel added.
In Orbit around Abydos…
Anubis' mothership dropped out of hyperspace. The massive ship employed as much Ancient technology as the half ascended Goauld had access to.
"Begin operation extraction," ordered the fleet commander.
"Yes sir," answered his second in command.
Back in the lower chamber of the pyramid…
"So you seeing anybody," Jack asked Skara as we scanned the walls.
"Maybe," answered Skara.
"Really…is it serious," asked Jack.
"We are betrothed."
"Trust me that is serious…congratulations."
"Thank you."
"I assume my invitation got lost in the mail."
"I wanted to ask you to shou loki…to stand beside me."
"Just during the ceremony right," Jack jokingly clarified.
"Yes, yes," answered Skara missing the reference.
"I'd be honored."
"Will you be coming to my wedding alone?"
"No Jack got back together with his wife Sarah," I answered as I walked up.
"Guys my scans tell me there is a hidden chamber behind that wall," I informed the pair.
"Phase fields," said Sam.
"Phase fields," I answered.
Every member of SG-1 thumbed a phase device on their shoulder while Jack grabbed onto Skara's shoulder before we walked through the wall into the hidden chamber.
"Amazing," Skara commented.
"Now what," asked Jack.
"Well the only piece of advanced technology here is in that hidden chamber," I answered as I looked at my scanner while pointing at the side wall.
"A hidden chamber within a hidden chamber…how cliché," commented Jack.
"Indeed," added Teal'c.
A shot with my force weapon while we all had our shields up served to open the next chamber. We retrieved the eye of Ra while tagging everything else in the chamber for transport out and storage for later analysis.
"Huh…look at this tablet Harry," Daniel spoke up as he tagged a tablet.
"Yada yada yada lost city of the ancients," I translated.
"Sweet," Jack commented.
"We'll have to look for this later. Let's get out of here. Anubis is heading this way," Jonas informed us as he was keeping in touch with the fleet cloaked in orbit.
We transported out along with the contents of the hidden chamber. No Abydonian remained on Abydos as they were all resting comfortably aboard half of Earth's considerable fleet with all their possessions.
"So where were you planning on taking the Abydonians," asked Jonas.
"Someplace secret…the less people who know the address the better," Jack answered.
In truth we were bringing all of the people of Abydos into the Utopian Empire. Jack was happy to see Skara and his fiancé become immortal.
"So how long do you think it will take them to figure out they are fighting over nothing," asked Daniel as we watched from our cloak ship as Anubis fought it out with the system lords.
Without the eye his ship was considerably less powerful but he still prevailed in the end.
"A long time…they are Goauld after all," answered Jack as he passed around a bull of popcorn while we watched Goauld ships blow up.
When I got home I had a bit of a surprise waiting for me. I walked into my room to change to find Faith with her head between a pair of unfamiliar thighs. The sounds of the moaning were unfamiliar to me as well.
"Faith what's going on," I asked.
"Oh hello Harry…I think you know Merrin. Merrin here decided she wanted to know more about earth culture and marriages in particular. She thinks our relationship is the most interesting so wants to join. I've just been inducting her," Faith explained quickly before going back to her task.
Merrin is the girl featured in the canon episode Learning Curve from the planet Orban. She was quite young then but it only takes me a second to realize she is eighteen now. I shake my head at my crazy life before shrugging with a grin and deciding to join in.

Enterprise Universe…
As soon as I arrived back in the Enterprise Universe as I've come to call this reality I was prepared to retrieve the captain.
Arriving back in the correct time we discovered the war wasn't going like our history books said it did. It wasn't just a minor discrepancy but an actual completely different set of events. The Nazis were occupying a good deal of America.
"These speeches aren't as they should be," Malcolm informed T'Pol and I.
"Then that means this isn't our reality but a divergent timeline," I replied.
At Malcolm's confused look I decided to elaborate.
"The time travel technology of Daniel's and his people is only meant to travel in time. But you can't travel in time without traveling through divergent realities. These time travelers don't possess the correct temporal navigation systems to get back to their reality and time of origin if a drastic change is made in the past."
"Oh that makes sense," Malcolm replied.
Just then we were called to sick bay by Phlox.
"That will be Daniels," I announced as I detected a wormhole arriving on the ship.
"Portions of Daniels body are aging at different rates. One section of his body is over a hundred years old while yet another has been reduced to an almost fetal stage," Phlox explained.
"Do you have any theories as to what caused this," T'Pol asked.
"It's not from any kind of infectious organism, at least nothing that shows up on my medical scanner."
"Put him in the healing chamber," I instructed.
Phlox followed my instructions to adjust the healing chamber to deal with the temporal radiation exposure Daniels was suffering from.
"Where's Captain Archer," asked Daniels as soon as he came out of the healing chamber.
"You should know better than we do. I only was able to track his wormhole to this period, not his specific location on earth. Why did you bring him here," I asked.
"The temporal cold war has become an all out conflict. Temporal agents throughout the timeline are being ordered to change history in order to wipe other factions out. I only just got the captain back here before coming myself. Unfortunately I was hit with some time of temporal radiation weapon. Thanks for healing me by the way…I was unaware that your time period had such technology," Daniel stated as he eyed the healing chamber.
"The faction on this planet is trying to build a temporal conduit to take them back to their time," Daniels explained.
"We're picking up a feint signal from Captain Archer and beaming him aboard now to your location," Hoshi informed us over the com.
Then next moment Captain Archer and a black woman appeared in sick bay with a few scraped but alive.
"Explain," ordered the captain as soon as he saw Daniels.
"They're the most violent faction of the temporal cold war led by Vosk. They are violently opposed to the temporal accords. We almost captured him but he developed a form of stealth time travel. He escaped into the past. We eventually located him but it was too late. He returned to my century. He and his people defeated us and launched this war that's destroying all of time. I've sent you to this point because it's here that Vosk can be stopped. If you succeed the war will never happen. The timeline will be restored. With your help I think we should be able to locate the conduit machine. It would have to be enormous if it was built with materials from this time period," Daniels explained.
"Let's go to the bridge," ordered the captain as he led the way.
"Trip this is Alicia Travers. Alicia this is my very good friend Trip," the captain introduced on the way.
"It's nice to meet you," Alicia greeted the good looking man from the future.
"Likewise," I said with a grin.
"I'd like you to see she's taken care of Trip," ordered the captain.
"Yes sir," I replied.
We quickly entered the bridge and I took my station. Alicia sat down at the seat beside me. A few minutes later I located the facility where Vosk was located.
"I found them sir," I announced.
"Yes that looks right," Daniels agreed as he checked the readings.
"They are protected by a shield," Malcolm spoke up as I relayed the coordinates to him.
"I can punch through that easily," I replied.
"Do it," ordered the captain.
Typing in the access code to grant the ship's main power conduits energy from the ZPM I targeted the facility and fired.
"They're destroyed sir," Malcolm confirmed a moment later.
"Well that should reset the timeline," Daniel said with a smile.
"Daniels you need a little lesson in temporal mechanics. When you make an alteration to the past it doesn't change the future you came from, otherwise you aren't likely to exist. No paradoxes are created. When you alter the past then you create a divergent reality which you naturally go to as you travel normally through time, meaning without the aid of technology. Your problem is that your technology isn't advanced enough to get you back to the correct reality or time you came from. You need to bend the wormhole around the changes so to speak. I'm guessing you can get back to your correct time now that your navigation systems think the time stream will play out to your original future. I'll handle getting us back to our time," I explained.
"How do you know all of this," Daniels asked in surprise.
"Can't you tell," I asked with a small grin.
"You're from the future or another reality," Daniels guessed after a moment.
"Something like that," I replied which caused the others on the bridge not in the know to stare at me in shock.
"I expect this to stay on this bridge and go no further," ordered the captain.
"Yes sir," Malcolm and Travis quickly agreed seeing as everyone else was in the know.
"Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to take Alicia here and get her situated back on her planet," I announced.
Alicia followed me off the bridge.
"So you're from an alternate reality or an alternate future. What's that like," asked the beautiful black female.
"It's pretty crazy sometimes. I'm going to make sure you're taken care of," I informed her.
"Thank you Commander Tucker," Alicia replied.
"Trip…you can call me Trip. Now I have a friend I'm going to leave behind to make sure everything gets straightened out," I explained as we reached the transporter room so I could better place her somewhere safe.
"Hi Alicia you can call me Harry," my human form replicator double in the shape of my original form greeted as he walked into the corridor.
"Harry will look after you Alicia and make sure things get back to the way they should be on your world," I informed her.
"Thank you for all your help," Alicia replied before quickly kissing me on the lips before darting onto the platform.
I waved goodbye as I transported them back to New York. I have a pretty good feeling that my double will provide more than just aid in the war in the coming months and years. Scans of the databases on the planet below tell me that Alicia's husband was killed in the war, a fact she doesn't know yet. Harry will provide all of the support she needs. Just like the last time I left a replicator double on a planet with another female Archer met I also left him some goodies in an underground laboratory.
With the nanites he can put into Alicia's system she will probably stop aging. Instead of a stargate in the underground laboratory there is a Furling reality gate for the pair to use. Just before my cruiser followed Enterprise back to the future it rained down destruction on most of the major German military assets, effectively ending the war in favor of the Allies.
"Take us home Trip," ordered the captain as I returned to the bridge.
"Yes sir," I answered before jumping us to our correct timeline.
"I'm picking up dozens of ships…it's the Earth fleet of our time," Hoshi affirmed a few moments later.
We were all grinning like mad at finally being home.
Shortly after we got back to the correct time Hoshi and Kaitaama gave birth to my last two expected children. Hoshi gave birth to Sanya Herine Potter while Kaitaama gave birth to Kaiteena Rasheen Potter. As was standard now both girls resemble their mothers except for their eyes, which are green like mine.
Shortly after we arrived back in orbit the senior officers and the captain attended a ceremony designed to honor us.
"I here they are calling us heroes…when it comes to my crew you won't get any argument from me," the Captain said to the crowd of hundreds of thousands which received much cheering and clapping.
"I think it's important to remember those who would have died if the Xindi attack was successful. For their lives and I'll admit the lack of loss of life in our crew we owe one man, Commander Charles Tucker the third," the captain gestured to me.
"Get up there," Malcolm said with a grin as he shoved me forward.
The captain put his hand on my shoulder as the crowd went wild.
"If I have to suffer through all this fame you can suffer with me," the captain whispered in my ear.
"When you can draw on the energies of an infinite number of beings throughout the multiverse this is nothing," I whispered back while waving at my fans.
Later that night…
"It looks like you've packed enough clothes to last a year," I commented to my Vulcan wife as we packed.
"You've never complained about my attire before," she replied as she pointed to her lingerie.
"Good point," I replied with a grin before stealing a kiss.
"So you've never actually told me what your mother knows about us."
"She knows that we are involved…like most of Earth. Beyond that we haven't discussed it much," T'Pol answered.
"Well I suspect she's about to become a whole lot more informed," I stated as we got ready to leave.
Hoshi has some things she wants to attend to on Earth so will not be joining T'Pol and I on our Trip to Vulcan to see my wife's mother.
Before we left I was asked to sit in on the debriefing with Starfleet command about our mission in the Expanse. I sat between Captain Hernandez and the captain of the Seleya.
"The asteroids were composed of a Trillium ore," explained the captain as we discussed the field we pulled the Seleya out of.
"We are grateful for your assistance in rescuing our ship," the Seleya's captain spoke up to change the subject so we could continue the briefing.
Vulcan, A few hours later…
"So this is where you grew up," I stated as I looked around the entrance to my lover's home.
"It's different than I imagined."
"Meaning," asked T'Pol.
"It's beautiful…," I assured her.
"Vulcans appreciate beauty," T'Pol informed me.
"Well I had no doubt about that…you always were a perfect representation of Vulcan beauty," I informed her as I leaned in a kissed her.
Just then her mother walked in so we broke apart.
"You didn't tell me you were bringing a guest," T'Les informed her daughter.
"Mother your home," T'Pol replied in surprise.
"Obviously…it's agreeable to see you. You appear well. It is also agreeable to meet you Commander Tucker. Your reputation proceeds you even here on Vulcan, quite a feat for a human," T'Les informed me.
"Why is he here," T'Les asked T'Pol in Vulcan.
"We came to inform you that Trip and I are engaged mother," T'Pol answered in kind with the usual Vulcan efficiency for words.
"We hope you'll come to accept our decision," I added in flawless Vulcan as I wrapped my arm around my wife.
"This is surprising…you both must be very tired after your journey," T'Les answered as she led us inside.
"The guest room is on the south end of the house," T'Les directed me so I went off to find it.
I listened in on their conversation over the bond.
"It's not yet mid day…why aren't you at the science academy?"
"I'm no longer an instructor there. I wrote you a letter…didn't Starfleet transmit it to your ship," answered T'Les.
"We had communication difficulties in the Expanse," T'Pol answered as she sat down.
"I don't know why you're surprised…this was planned years ago. There's more to life than one's profession. What of Koss? Are you going to forget about him," asked T'Les.
"I am with Trip now mother…we will not speak of Koss again," T'Pol answered her mother firmly.
The next morning…
"What time is it," I asked my wife as she stirred from my side.
She apparated into my room last night after leaving a hologram emitter giving the illusion she was still in her room.
"0400…we have to prepare the morning meal…as guests it's expected of us," answered my naked wife as she got dressed.
"Alright cooking it is…but first you are going to share a shower with me," I informed her before scooping her up and transporting us to my orbiting cloaked cruiser.
"The al ruvines set early this year," T'Pol commented to her mother as we sat down to breakfast later.
"I've had ample time to attend to them."
"You're not enjoying retirement," commented T'Pol.
"The guesbar isn't fresh…my stasis unit needs to be replaced," T'Les informed us as she caught the slight look on my face as I ate some of the food.
"I'd be happy to take a look at it. If I can turn back time I should be able to fix a kitchen appliance," I informed her.
"That would be agreeable Commander," she replied.
"Trip…you can call me Trip."
"I just want to thank you for letting me stay here," I said to T'Les an hour later as I worked on her broken stasis unit.
"Expressing gratitude is an earth custom," she commented as she placed some vegetables in a basket.
"T'Pol says thank you all the time," I answered.
"I've noticed."
I walked over to the stasis unit and plugged in the part I was working on. The unit lit up working perfectly.
"You've repaired it," T'Les commented in surprise.
"It will work better than new now," I answered.
"If you have the time perhaps you could repair my food synthesizer," she asked hopefully.
"I'll make it work better than new," I answered with a smile while thinking of ways to improve her food synthesizer with a few Alteran upgrades.
Just then there was a knock on the door. I went to answer it for T'Les.
"Koss," T'Les said in surprise.
"I need to speak with T'Pol," my wife's ex fiancé informed T'Les.
Koss tried to manipulate T'Pol into marrying him with promises to have her mother reinstated. It turns out T'Les had been asked to resign. Being asked to resign and fired were not the same thing. If T'Les didn't put up a fight then it wasn't T'Pol's place to get her back in. Koss left after T'Pol firmly told him she is with me now.
T'Pol discussed the matter with her mother. T'Les tried to let T'Pol believe her dismissal was because of my wife but T'Pol is a much more powerful telepath now. She picked up the true reason was because T'Les is under suspicion as being involved with a separatist group the high command considers enemies of the Vulcan people. T'Pol firmly informed her mother that she would not change her mind about her relationship with me.
The Vulcan lava plains…
"Some day I'm going to take you on a tour of some of the sights I've seen. I'll show you the universe…this and others. I only wish you could see the between…it's amazing," I informed my wife while projecting what I've seen in the between.
"It's beautiful. Trip…I want to thank you…for everything you've given me. You've shown me that I don't need to suppress my emotions fully. You've given me our wonderful little boy…I love you Trip," an emotional T'Pol informed me before capturing my lips in a searing kiss.
I poured my love into that kiss as the magma flowed in the plains beside us. My wife and I spent the day enjoying the sights before we were to be married in a Vulcan ceremony that evening.
Later that evening…
"Come in," I called as there was a knock on the door.
"We're ready," T'Les informed me as she walked in.
"Ok," I'll be ready in a moment.
"Those clothes belonged to my husband…they fit you well. I may not have approved at your relationship at first Trip but I do now. I can sense you love my daughter deeply and I know you are a man of integrity," T'Les informed me.
"Thank you," I told her as I followed her out.
I kneeled and joined hands with my lover a few minutes later.
"What you are about to witness comes down from the time of the beginning without change," said the priest.
"This is the Vulcan heart, this is the Vulcan soul, this is our way," the priest continued as all my lovers in this reality watched on invisibly after they teleported in.
I made passionate slow love to T'Pol that night as we consummated our marriage in the eyes of her people.
San Francisco, the next day…
"You needed something captain," I asked as I teleported in from Vulcan after the captain called me over the long range communicator I gave him.
"I need to know if you have a way of allowing me to maintain a relationship with Erika even while we are in space exploring light years from each other," answered my friend as he paced up and down before looking at me hopefully.
"Of course I do…we'll have to let her in on some of my secret but I don't see a problem. I'll just have a small cloaked vessel follow their ship. Whenever she wants to visit you or you her you can transport to the ship, drop out of warp and use the onboard stargate to reach each other. You should also give her this when you are ready captain and congratulations," I told him as I handed him a ring I just conjured.
"It's beautiful," the captain replied at the flawless large carat diamond which contained a dose of the elixir of life which will make her immortal.
"This one is for you when you are ready. Don't wait too long captain…you two have been in love for a long time," I told him.
"I know…only the fact that I used to be her superior officer kept us apart for so long."
"Good luck sir," I told him.
"Thank you Trip," he replied as he grasped my forearm as my friend before I teleported back to my lovers on Vulcan.
We were called back from our much deserved time off when a Klingon Bird of Prey was stolen, the entire crew massacred, by augments. Augments are genetically engineered humans which are supposed to be the next step in human evolution; unfortunately they proved not to be. Augments generally tended to be too violent.
"Soong used to work at cold station twelve, a top secret medical research station," Archer informed the senior officers at the mission briefing.
"Isn't that where Starfleet keeps a stockpile of infectious diseases," asked Malcolm.
"Along with genetically engineered embryos left over from the Eugenics Wars. It has been kept from the public for obvious reasons," confirmed the captain.
"I remember Soong's trial. He wouldn't say what he did with the embryos he stole," said Travis.
"Now he claims he took them to a planet in the Trialis system and raised them. They were around ten years old when he was captured, a decade ago," informed Archer.
"Well this could be a problem," I commented.
"What would they want with a Klingon Bird of Prey," asked Malcolm.
"There are plenty of things they could do with that ship," I answered.
"We don't know and Soong claims he doesn't either. He does think he can convince them to surrender without a fight."
"Fat chance of that considering they are likely to either be locked up for the rest of their lives or terminated immediately," I replied.
"There's also the fact that he spent time in the Borderland," Archer stated.
"It's a volatile region between the Klingon Empire and the Orion Syndicate. It attracts the most dangerous elements from both," T'Pol explained.
"The Klingons have threatened to retaliate with everything they've got. We're the fastest ship and the most experienced crew. We have to find the augments and bring them back. We launch in six hours," the captain explained before dismissing us.
"Permission to come aboard sir," Soong asked mockingly as he was brought through the airlock.
"This is my science officer T'Pol," introduced the captain.
"No need for an introduction. I admire your people very much…we share a similar view of humanity," said Soong.
"What view is that," asked my wife.
"That it could stand some improvement," answered Soong.
"I believe that is true of most species if not all."
"My Chief Engineer Commander Tucker," continued the Captain.
"Now you Commander Tucker I am quite honored to meet," Soong said as he shook my hand.
"The man who can bend time to his will…very impressive," added Soong.
"We've prepared some quarters. You'll be under guard at all times in case you should decide you need to clear your head," the Captain explained.
"We're on a Starship soon to be at high warp. Where exactly would I go?"
Instead of answering the Captain started to lead Soong to his quarters.
"If I can examine the DNA samples the Klingons recovered I could tell you something about the current state of the augments."
"I'll have the information sent to your quarters," replied the captain.
"A laboratory would be preferable…your sick bay. Dr. Phlox's reputation rivals my own before I was imprisoned of course. I'd enjoy trading notes with him."
"I'll consider it," the captain answered.
"We're cleared for launch," Hoshi informed the captain a few minutes later on the bridge as Archer adjusted to his new chair.
"Here we are again. Wouldn't have it any other way…Travis," ordered the Captain before we departed from space dock.
We were soon on our way at high warp. The captain gave my wife a compass as a gift for her first day as a member of Starfleet. After she had decided to resign her commission with the High Command Starfleet was quick to offer her a post with earth at the recommendation of the captain and I.
"Two vessels are coming up behind us," Malcolm informed the bridge as the shields absorbed the weapons fire.
"Orion interceptors," T'Pol announced.
"Interesting way of saying hello," commented the captain.
"No response," Hoshi answered the captains prompt.
"Returning fire," I announced.
"They are disabled," announced Malcolm a few moments later.
"Captain they just tried to transport several people off. I'm downloading their database now," I announced.
"Destroy them," ordered the captain.
"Gladly," I replied as T'Pol was one of the people the Orions just tried to take.
"They are destroyed," Malcolm announced.
"I have a feeling Soong knew that would happen. I'm going to play along for now and let him think several crew members were captured," explained the captain before leaving the bridge.
We made our way to the Orion processing station Soong directed us to as a result of our ruse.
"Transmit your identification code," ordered one of the Orion's when we entered orbit.
We sent the code Soong provided us.
"You're cleared to proceed."
We told Soong we tagged him with a ten kilometer range transponder. In truth the man was tagged with a transponder which would allow me to track him anywhere in this galaxy and I highly doubt he'll be detecting it. We staged a slave break out. During the breakout Soong took his opportunity to escape. The bridge crew got a laugh when Soong used an Orion stun stick to disable his known transponder. It didn't even phase the Alteran transponder he was in possession of.
We followed him cloaked as he escaped in a small ship capable of only warp three. He contacted his augment children. I convinced the captain to let me handle the situation.
I transported aboard the Bird of Prey via my cruiser which had no trouble bypassing the shields. I phased through the door to the bridge.
"Commander Tucker," Soong asked in surprise.
"It was a trap kill him," shouted the augment I could tell was the alpha male.
The augments act in a pack mentality. Kill the alpha and you are the head of the pack. Before the others could even come for me I was beside the leader named Malik. I grabbed him by the neck and with a flick of my wrist snapped his neck.
"Malik," cried out Soong as he stared at the corpse of the former alpha male.
Persis wasn't sure what was going on but she couldn't help but feel a powerful attraction towards this male. He came into the bridge and killed the strongest among them with ease.
I sensed the female known as Persis checking me out. Looking her over I determined she would be a good addition to my harem. Of course she'll need to be put on a probation of sorts and she won't be getting upgraded for a while. I have to make sure she isn't a threat to my other lovers and family.
"This is how this is going to work Soong. You and your family are going to be taken to a planet of my choosing where you will live out the remainder of your lives in peace. If I so much as hear anything negative about you I'll have you thrown into the nearest black hole. I'll be keeping an eye out. Oh and Persis there will be staying with me," I told him.
Before Soong could so much as blink in shock I waved my hand and Soong was transported to a planet I've terraformed in this reality to be habitable. Several human form replicators in orbit will be keeping an eye on Soong and his augments.
With another bit of concentration Persis and I were now aboard my cruiser. Just after we left the captain transported over the synthesized corpses which copied the augments and Soong. He then destroyed the ship, effectively faking all their deaths.
Persis looked at me waiting for me to make the first move.
"You will be my mate," I informed her.
"You have to take me," she replied.
"Very well," I answered before I lunged.
Insert smut scene here
Gym compartment, several weeks later…
The Captain, Hoshi, Phlox, Travis, Malcolm, and I were all playing basketball. It was a heated game where Phlox and I were on opposing teams because it seems the Doctor is as good an athlete as I am.
The others quickly took notice when I stopped in the middle of the game.
"What is it Trip," asked the captain as everybody else stopped.
"The Earth Embassy on Vulcan was just bombed…forty-three people died, including Admiral Forest Sir," I answered as I stared off into space.
Just then T'Pol walked in with the same look she wore when she found out about the Xindi attack.
"It's true then," asked the Captain.
"Yes sir," my lover replied not even needing to know the question as she had been listening in over the bond.
"Travis set a course for Vulcan," ordered the Captain.
"Our best speed Travis," I added.
"You can do something about this," asked the Captain as he quickly caught on.
"Yes sir," I replied.
"Then let's get moving people," shouted the captain as we all departed the gym.
A half hour later we dropped out of hyperspace in Vulcan space. It only took us that long because we all took the time to take quick showers after I assured everyone we had the time to spare.
"Activating time reversion satellite," I announced which caused everybody on the bridge to break out in relieved grins.
"I didn't realize you would put one around Vulcan," Malcolm commented.
"Well the Embassy is considered Earth soil and also it is my wife's home planet. I can't let anything happen to it now can I," I answered with a lopsided grin.
We watched as time turned back a few hours inside a glowing sphere which wrapped around the planet.
"I want every human who was in the embassy during the bombing transported up here as soon as that time inversion is complete," ordered Archer.
"Yes sir," I answered.
A few minutes later, an empty storage compartment…
"You had a time satellite around Vulcan," a now alive Admiral Forest said to me as T'Pol, the Captain, and I walked into the compartment we were transporting some of the earth citizens to.
"Yes," I answered simply.
He latched onto my shoulder and pulled me aside.
"Whenever you want to captain your own starship you just say the word and you will," he whispered gratefully.
"Thank you sir…I'm quite happy where I am at the moment," I answered respectfully.
"I thought you would say that…the offer is open ended," he informed me before we rejoined the others.
"Jonathan I want you to head up the investigation of this incident…find out what happened. I'm going to coordinate with the portion of the fleet I'm calling in. They will remain cloaked for now. An attack on Earth soil is an attack on Earth itself," ordered Forest.
"Yes sir," the captain answered before leaving to carry out his orders.
An hour later, Main airlock…
"Captain Jonathan Archer…I regret we meet under such circumstances," Administrator V'Las, the head of the High Command, stated as he stepped through the airlock.
"I'd like to introduce Administrator V'Las," T'Pol introduced.
"Administrator, I wasn't told to expect the head of the High Command," replied Archer.
"Commander Tucker, I assume we have you to thank for the second chance at life all those who died in the bombing received," Soval greeted.
I nodded my reply before V'Las introduced Stel, the one in charge of the investigation. I recognized him from my first scan of the minds of the bomb victims as the one who planted the bomb. I didn't react to the introduction.
"Captain we now have suspects," Stel informed us.
"Andorians…why would they attack our embassy," asked the captain a few minutes later after we all were set down at a conference table.
"To create conflict between Earth and Vulcan," Stel answered.
"They do consider us allies who could pose a threat to them," Soval added.
"The Andorians know we are neutral and have nothing to gain by attacking us."
"You have other suspects," prompted T'Pol.
"Syrrannites," answered Stel.
"I've never heard of that species," said Archer.
"Actually they're a small group of Vulcans. They follow a version of Surak's teachings which is differently interpreted from the Vulcan mainstream ideology," I informed.
"You are well informed Commander Tucker," commented V'Las.
I only nodded in reply.
Surak is the father of Vulcan logic and to this day is still considered by many Vulcans the most important Vulcan who ever lived. Naturally I disagree with them. I believe my wife is the most important Vulcan to ever live.
"Motive," I prompted.
"Over the past year their leader, a dissident named Syrran, has become a dangerous Zealot," lied Stel.
"Captain I trust you to keep this matter confidential, we don't share it lightly, but recently on our world there have been instances of violence against non-Vulcans. Though we have no conclusive proof there are signs Syrrannites might be responsible," V'Las informed us dramatically.
"Is there any evidence connecting this faction to the bombing," asked Archer.
"Your embassy is officially considered to be on earth soil. We've preserved the site for you to investigate," Soval supplied when the other two didn't speak.
"If evidence is there the chief investigator and I are confident you will find it," V'Las informed us before they left.
"In other words they planted evidence they know we will find," I stated after the Vulcan contingent left.
"Trip," prompted the captain.
"Most of what they told us was lies. The only one who didn't lie was Soval."
"It is likely if we find evidence they will take control of the investigation," T'Pol added.
"Then we had best not find any evidence," stated the captain.
"Captain if these Syrrannites are being blamed then it is likely the High Command is trying to hide something about them. I suggest T'Pol and I track them down and find out what," I suggested.
"I'm assuming you know where to find them," Archer asked.
"The Forge…it's a desert which makes the Sahara look like a nice vacation. Strong magnetic fields prevent conventional technology from working. Even the Vulcans can't use technology there. However I should be able to sufficiently modify our personal shields to provide us with a self contained atmosphere of normal room temperature. It will also attenuate the sunlight enough to make it seem like we are standing in shade," I answered.
"You and T'Pol can go. Find out what you can…I'll make sure we don't find anything officially until then. Using the excuse that we are beginning the investigation with the recovered personnel should suffice to stall the High Command," answered the Captain.
T'Pol and I quickly left to get ready. As it turns out I found through hacking the Vulcan database that T'Pol's mother T'Les went into hiding as a suspected Syrrannite. So it is likely we will run into her in the forge.
"This site is called gateway, where Surak supposedly began his journey into the Forge," my lover informed me after we entered the desert.
"Always the skeptic," I told her with a smile before kissing her affectionately.
A few hours later after dark we were resting for a bit when we saw Vulcan search patrols flying over the magnetic barrier protecting the Forge from most technology. Just then we both heard a shrieking cry sounding as if it was coming closer.
"We're being stalked by a Sailot," my lover informed me with only a slight rise in her voice betraying her alarm.
A creature looking much like a massive saber tooth tiger from earth's past came barreling towards us.
"That's the thing you once told me you had as a pet when you were a child," I asked in amusement.
"Yes," she answered.
Soon the creature was upon us. Wrapping my arm around my lover's waist I took to the air, carrying us just above the Sailot. Seeing what I had in mind T'Pol shifted in my grip to hold onto my back. We dropped down onto the back of the large creature. It screeched and bucked in rage. Gripping its mane at the back of its neck I channeled a strong pain curse into the Sailot. I continued to do so until it submitted.
"There not such a bad cat now are we," I said as I patted the Sailot which would carry us through the Forge.
It wasn't long until we came across a male Vulcan.
"A human traveling with a Vulcan through the Forge on a sailot…curious," he commented.
"I'm Commander Tucker and this is T'Pol, daughter of T'Les. We're looking for the Syrrannites. I think you might be able to help us," I said to the Vulcan.
"Yes…my name is Syrran. I will take you to your mother," the Syrrannite leader decided after a moments thought.
"Would you like to ride with us," asked T'Pol.
"I would find it agreeable to ride a Sailot…an experience I have yet to undertake," answered Syrran as he climbed on behind T'Pol.
We made great time towards the Syrrannite encampment on our sailot steed but even so we were not long after overtaken by a sand storm.
"Take cover there," shouted Syrran as we raced to escape the storm.
Our steed dove into the indicated cave at my direction as we all ducked down to avoid injury with the narrow ceiling.
"Quickly cover the entrance. The electrical storm can still reach us," directed Syrran.
I quickly did as he directed and sealed up the entrance.
"How long do these electrical storms usually last," I asked after we finished.
The sailot was curled up in the back of the cave with T'Pol calmly petting it.
"Quite some time…days possibly…this is the strongest I've seen," answered Syrran.
"Unacceptable," I replied before walking to the sealed entrance and phasing through.
"Commander you'll be killed," I heard Syrran yell before the wind blocked him out.
I could still listen inside the cave through my bond with my wife.
"How did he do that," Syrran asked my wife.
"A piece of technology he picked up from a time traveler," she replied.
"What is he doing?"
"You'll see soon enough," she answered.
Once I was away from the cave I rose into the air until I was fifty meters up, at the heart of the storm. I began absorbing the energy of the storm into myself. Lightning from the storm arced across my body. I barely even felt it as more than a tingle. Finally a few minutes later the storm dissipated and I allowed myself to float back to the cave.
Walking to the cave entrance I quickly unblocked it.
"Very curious," Syrran commented as he exited the cave.
I spelled him so he couldn't tell anybody any of his suspicions about what I just did.
"I can manipulate time…you don't think a little thing like a sand storm will hinder me much do you," I asked with a grin.
We were soon on our way once again. When we arrived at our destination I slapped the hind of the sailot to send it off. We walked through an illusion covering the sanctuary entrance and into a well hewed passageway in the surrounding rock.
As soon as we entered we were surrounded by Vulcans.
"Leave them be," ordered Syrran.
"Who are they," asked the one I recognized as T'Pau.
"This is Commander Tucker and T'Pol," introduced Syrran.
"Mother," T'Pol greeted as her mother took that moment to walk in.
"I'm pleased to see that you're alright," T'Les greeted.
"And you as well," replied my wife.
"Why have you come here," asked T'Pau.
"Administrator V'Las has gone through a great deal of trouble to frame you. Even here we are in contact with our ship and have learned he has done everything he can to send our ship away. We of course have prevented that by not finding the false evidence he had planted with your DNA on it T'Pau," I answered.
"But I haven't left the Forge in two years," replied T'Pau.
"They used the DNA from your birth registry record," spoke up T'Pol.
There was angry muttering heard all around from the other Vulcan at this information.
"Obviously V'Las considers you a threat. I want to know why," I told them.
"We are here looking for the Kir'Shara," answered Syrran.
"That would definitely threaten V'Las," I nodded.
The Kir'Shara is a relic containing Surak's original teachings. It would serve to question all the Vulcans have done.
"Have you had any luck finding it," asked T'Pol.
"No…I carry the katra of Surak but it is most difficult for him to communicate with his Vulcan host. At best he can send feelings and images infrequently," Syrran answered.
I peered at the surrounding walls. Only T'Pol knew I was actually looking through the walls.
"What does it look like," I asked.
"From what we know of it the Kir'Shara looks like a pyramidal obelisk," replied T'Pau.
"It's this way," I informed them while leading them down a side passage.
"I started to doubt if it really existed," Syrran said in awe as he held the Kir'Shara in his hands a few minutes later.
"Thank you Commander, although I don't know how you knew where it was," T'Pau added.
"Don't bother asking," Syrran told her.
"Now we better get out of here. V'Las is eager to destroy this place. It won't be much longer until he tries to force Enterprise away," I informed.
"Ok begin the evacuations," Syrran ordered.
A few minutes later outside the sanctuary…
"There's no need to walk," I spoke up as everyone congregated outside.
I cupped my hands to my mouth and imitated the cry of a sailot. It was answered by many such cries. Soon several dozen sailot came into view much to the alarm of the present Vulcans.
"Curious," Syrran replied.
"Curious is all you can say," asked T'Pau almost displaying shock…almost.
We were all soon mounted on sailot steeds and heading towards the capital.
"Look Enterprise is being fired upon," pointed out T'Pau.
Indeed we could see weapons fire being exchanged from orbit.
"V'Las tried to close the investigation due to a flimsy excuse of Vulcan internal security. We need to go faster," I spoke.
We all spurred our rides on and went even faster. It only took us another half hour to reach the capitol city. The weapons fire had stopped due to Enterprise becoming cloaked. They only stayed visible long enough to distract the Vulcan forces from bombarding the sanctuary while we were still inside.
"How will we get inside," asked T'Pau as we crouched behind a statue to observe High Command headquarters.
"Soval gave us the transporter jammer frequencies. We can transport in," I answered.
"Good old Soval," T'Les commented.
"You know him," asked T'Pol in surprise.
"Of course…who do you think got you your position with him on Earth," answered her mother.
A few minutes later we transported into the headquarters of the Vulcan High Command. As soon as we walked in Administrator Kuvak knocked out one of the guards and took his weapon.
"Contact security," V'Las tried to order.
"Stay where you are," Kuvak ordered with his weapon.
"We need to have a talk," I stated.
"Administrator it is agreeable to see you again," Syrran greeted.
"This man is an anarchist captain," V'Las replied pointing to Syrran.
"Syrrannites didn't bomb our embassy…you did. We have plenty of proof. The DNA was from her birth record and we have witnesses confirming Stel planted the bomb. Stel was not a Syrrannite no matter how many times you claim he is. We know all about your planned attack on Andoria Administrator. I'm here to tell you we won't stand for it. Earth has had enough bloodshed. Your people helped us recover from our third world war. Well we aren't about to let one power hungry leader drag both our worlds into another one. This should start convincing you that you are wrong," I informed the Vulcan leaders as Syrran placed the Kir'Shara on the table and activated it.
"The Kir'Shara is a myth," V'Las claimed.
"It's a fake…it must be destroyed," V'Las hysterically claimed as he stalked towards the relic as it projected a hologram of Surak's writings.
Kuvak was having none of that as he stunned V'Las.
"This is Administrator Kuvak get me the fleet commander immediately," ordered Kuvak as he activated the communication system.
He called the fleet on its way to attack Andoria back to Vulcan. Andoria would never need to know they were barely saved by the people of earth.
"And if you hadn't been able to convince us what then Commander Tucker," asked Kuvak after V'Las was carted off.
"Look in orbit," I replied with a malicious grin as all of our ships decloaked at a signal from me.
Dozens of upgraded Earth vessels decloaked. Each had many of the upgrades we acquired on our mission.
"It is good we were reasoned with," Kuvak said as he gulped with obvious nervousness.
"Word is already spreading of the discovery," T'Pau informed us a few minutes later as she walked back into the room.
"It may take years to translate all of the writings," Syrran added.
"The people of Vulcan are in your debt Commander. I think I speak for all of us when I say I'm glad it was you who is the first human to marry a Vulcan," Kuvak stated.
"Peace and long life," he added as he gave the traditional hand gesture.
"You may be witnessing the start of a new era, not only for Vulcan but for Earth as well," said T'Pau as we walked out.
"The minister tends to pursue a less aggressive policy towards your people. The High Command will be dissolved," Soval explained.
"You'll no longer have us looking over your shoulder. It's time for Earth to stand on its own," added T'Pau.
"We are plenty ready," I answered as I took my wife's hand.
As we walked out we saw T'Les talking to Soval.
"You're mother is forming a relationship with Soval," I informed my wife.
"I sense it too…it will be good for her to have someone."
"We can give him the elixir as well if it proves to be a lasting arrangement."
"We have plenty of time. Even without the elixir my mother should live for a long time yet."
When the captain informed me that his old friend Dr. Emory Erickson, the inventor of the transporter, was requesting the use of Enterprise for some sub quantum teleportation was response was immediate.
"Earth is nowhere near capable of even coming close to that technology. Erickson would know that," I stated.
"So what are you saying Trip," asked Archer.
"It's a smoke screen for something else."
"Do you have any idea what it could be covering for?"
"One moment," I replied as I ordered my ship to link up with one of the cloaked satellites I have orbiting earth.
Very quickly the ship's AI hacked through all security on Erickson's computer and downloaded all of his private data. It only took moments to analyze with the optical quantum computer with a time dilation processor.
"It seems your old friend Quinn is still alive."
"What," cried the captain as he stood up.
"Yes he's trapped in the region known as the Barrens. It's a subspace node or bubble which is why no planets have formed. A problem occurred during Erickson's tests and he lost track of his son."
"Can we get him back? I should say can you get him back," asked the captain pleadingly.
"I can. It wouldn't be possible to return him healthy with the transporters on Enterprise but I can do it with my ship. In fact it's already in the Barrens and is recovering Quinn as we speak."
A few minutes later…
I stood back as Quinn was beamed into the Captain's ready room and watched the reunion between old friends. Archer filled Quinn in on what was going on.
"We can drop Quinn off and Emery can cancel his request thereby avoiding prison for committing fraud when he uses Enterprise under false conditions," Jonathan explained.
Quinn was spelled to silence about my ship before he was sent home to earth, not aged a day from when he was lost all those years ago. What Emerson was proposing is basically the wormhole drive my ships have on board. It shoots the traveler through the between but takes quite a bit of power.
A few weeks later…
"I can't wait to get back," Hoshi said as she banished the dirt and grime off of her body.
"Tired of exploration already honey," I teased.
"Sifting through a Klingon garbage dump isn't my idea of exploration," my wife answered.
"I suppose not. That silicon based virus was no picnic either. Thankfully our nanites are handling that nicely," I replied.
A few minutes later on the bridge…
"There was nothing there sir. The Klingons must have left a long time ago," informed T'Pol as we came onto the bridge.
I was staring at Travis and Malcolm.
"Hello…what have we here," I questioned as I raised my hand towards Malcolm.
He stiffened before a glowing ball of bluish white energy floated out of his chest.
"Trip what's going on," asked Archer.
"It shouldn't be possible…what are you," asked Travis.
"We call them the ascended in one reality we've encountered them in. Almost all beings have the potential to evolve to a form where the physical body is no longer required. In doing so they gain unbelievable powers from the energy they can manipulate in their new home dimension. These are higher dimensional beings," explained Hoshi.
"Unfortunately for you two there are always higher levels of existence than the one you inhabit no matter how much better you think you are," I sneered at the ascended.
"The only reason I'm allowing you to live is to take a message back to your leaders. No more allowing species to walk into traps in order to learn more about them. You either help or stay the hell away," I ordered before the ball of energy in the grasp of power was compressed until it disappeared.
Travis gulped in fear before the ascended left him as quickly as he could and went back to his home dimension.
"I take it you don't like these ascended very much," asked the captain.
"They think they're better than those on the lower planes. Often they will toy with them…you may have heard of some of them…Zeus, Hades, Oden, etc.," I answered.
"You're telling me the gods of old are these ascended?"
"Some form of them yes," I answered.
"Then what does that make you if you could throw them around like that?"
I only smiled in answer.
"I guess the Q won't be messing with humans anytime soon," stated T'Pol as she examined the information I took from the Q's mind before I killed him.
Before we left that planet I used my power to eradicate any remnant of the silicon virus that was present. Other species wouldn't fare as well against it as we did.
When Admiral Forest asked us to escort some Tellerite delegates to peace talks with the Andorians it took some unusual preparation to get ourselves ready to deal with Tellerites.
"The food on this ship isn't fit for animals. That mangy pet of yours would probably taste better. You can either take me home or find a new ship. It's that simple. Oh something else I want new quarters," Hoshi shouted at the captain.
"Is that so," asked the captain in barely contained anger.
"My room is too small. There are plasma conduits running across the ceiling. It's noisy and keeps me up all night," said Hoshi.
"Maybe you'd sleep better in the cargo bay."
"What did you say to me?"
"This is a starship not a luxury liner. If you're not satisfied with the accommodations we can leave you behind in a shuttle pod. Maybe you'll have better luck with whoever picks you up. And if you don't like chef's food don't eat it. From the looks of things you should probably skip the desert table while you're at it," replied the captain.
"That was a nice touch," Hoshi finally answered breaking out in a small smile.
"I can't believe I'm supposed to speak to their ambassador like that," said the captain.
"Tellerites always have a litany of complaints. It's how they start arguments with people they've just met."
"Even if they have nothing to complain about," asked Archer.
"In that case they'll just insult you. Whatever they say you have to respond in kind otherwise they'll take offense," explained Hoshi.
Later in the launch bay…
"You people are even uglier than I remember, Captain Jonathan Archer…welcome aboard," started off the captain as the Tellerite representative stood before him after exiting the shuttle.
"Ambassador Gral…I'm told this ship is the pride of Starfleet. I find it small and unimpressive," replied the ambassador after shaking the captain's hand.
"Funny…I've heard rumors saying the same thing about your reproductive organs," answered the captain.
"You may show us to our quarters," said the ambassador after he laughed.
They were bitching and moaning the whole way to their quarters.
"Perhaps we should engage the hyperspace generator," I suggested as the others left.
"An hour of that and I might just agree with you Trip," said the Captain.
That hour later we were called to the bridge by Hoshi.
"I've picked up a message on an Andorian channel," she explained as she activated the recording.
"Calling Imperial Command…been attacked…systems have failed…request immediate," the static filled message broke off at that point.
"They have no ships within range," Travis added.
"How long to get there at maximum speed," asked the captain.
"Two minutes," I calculated off the top of my head.
"Alter course. Contact Babel…let them know we're going to be a little late," ordered Archer.
"Judging by the debris pattern I'd say their reactor breached," explained Malcolm as we arrived a few minutes later.
"I'm detecting significant quantities of duranium alloy. This was most likely an Andorian combat vessel," added T'Pol.
"Escape pods…multiple bio signs," announced Malcolm.
"Bring them into the launch bay. Tell Phlox to standby for casualties," ordered the captain.
"How many of my crew did you rescue," asked Shran a few minutes later as the captain, T'Pol, and I entered sickbay.
"Nineteen," answered Archer.
"Our compliment was eighty-six," Shran replied in distress.
"Your distress call said you were attacked," asked the captain.
"Tellerites…we were escorting our ambassador to the trade conference when they dropped out of warp. The ambassador's ship was destroyed within seconds. The Tellerites crippled us with their next shot. I've never seen one of their vessels maneuver like this one," explained Shran.
"Perhaps it wasn't Tellerites," I spoke up.
"Trip," asked the captain.
Looking into the timeline a few hours ahead I could see Tellerites weren't responsible.
"Think about it…stability in this region of space means any neighboring sectors of space could feel threatened. This could be an attempt to keep stability from being established."
"But I saw a Tellerite ship and warp signature," objected Shran.
"And do you see a Tellerite now," I asked as I took the form of a Tellerite.
"How…," asked Shran.
"Easily faked with holograms…the same can be done to a ship. Warp signatures are easily duplicated," I lied since I was using my morphing powers instead of technology.
"We must find the ones responsible," Shran growled.
"Oh I'm sure they'll find us soon enough," stated the captain.
The captain's estimate soon proved true when a ship appeared on an intercept course, a supposedly Andorian ship.
"Were you expecting company," Archer asked Shran as they arrived on the bridge.
"Hail them," ordered Archer.
"They're not responding," replied Hoshi.
"They're opening fire," announced Malcolm.
"Shields are holding steady," I announced as the ship barely reacted to the fire.
"I'm increasing power the sensors," I announced.
The view on the view screen switched to show a much different ship than the one we saw moments before.
"What design is that," asked Shran.
"Our expanded database says the markings and configurations are Romulan," answered T'Pol.
Our database has been much expanded since we acquired all of the various information while exploring.
"Destroy it," ordered the captain.
Their shields were powerful but no match for our ship's weapons. The attack vessel was destroyed in a large fireball. The Andorians and Tellerites made a special effort to complete the negotiations peacefully in order to become strong against the Romulans, who have been really attacking their ships.
When Enterprise returned to Earth for the official launch of Columbia, our sister ship, T'Pol, Lizzie, and I decided to join Hoshi and Phlox on their normal visit to Madam Chang's restaurant.
"I'm glad we got here early," Hoshi said as we left.
"There never used to be a wait to get in," Phlox stated.
"You didn't think Madam Chang's was going to be our little secret forever did you," asked Hoshi.
"There are a lot of Starfleet people here," observed the doctor.
"That's probably my fault," Lizzie said.
We all looked at her in response.
"I told a few friends about the place," she explained.
"So how did you meeting go today at the IME doctor," asked T'Pol.
"They asked if I was interested in becoming director of xenobiology."
We all congratulated the doctor.
"Are you going to accept," asked Hoshi.
"I'm considering but the truth is I've grown rather fond of my ship mates. I'm not certain if I'm ready to leave them just yet," answered Phlox.
Just then several figures jumped out from behind a building.
"You Denobulan come with us," one ordered.
"What do you want," asked Phlox.
They pulled weapons at that point. Hoshi surged forward and caught the one pointing the weapon by the wrist. She twisted and snapped his wrist. While the other one was distracted by the cry of pain from his comrade I surged forward and snapped the neck on the other one.
We removed their masks to find something very interesting.
"Augments…Klingon augments," commented Phlox as he scanned them.
"The second one is Rigellian," I informed.
"Well these scans tell why they want me. They are suffering from one a mutated form of a well known virus. It is likely the Klingons attempted to make one of their people into an augment while he was suffering from the original virus. My reputation for curing viruses is well known," Phlox explained.
We transported the prisoner and the body back aboard ship. I interrogated the prisoner and confirmed Phlox's assessment. Millions of Klingons were dying but the Empire would never ask for assistance. I fed some of Phlox's scans into the AI computer aboard my cruiser. With its time dilation processor the AI fed me back a corrected antidote to the virus very quickly. From there I sent a cloaked probe to feed the cure directly into the computer of the Klingon doctor working to cure the virus.
Malcolm's quarters a few hours later…
"Did you think I wouldn't find out Malcolm," I asked as he invited me in.
"No…I figured you might," he replied with a sigh.
"Are you going to tell the captain," he added.
"No…just don't betray the captain ever. No matter what spook agency you worked for in the past you work for Starfleet now. If you ever do betray the captain I'll make sure you spend your days in a prison which makes hell look like Hawaii," I warned before leaving.
It wasn't hard to intercept the communication when Malcolm's old boss contacted him to lie to the captain and cover up for the spy agency. They sold Phlox's location out to the Klingons. That old boss would be suffering from a mysterious heart attack later that night. All of the Klingon augments reverted back to their original form minus the brow ridges when the cure was administered to them. Naturally I wasn't going to provide them with a cure which would allow them to remain augments.
A month later we were heading towards the site of one of the newly proposed Star bases.
"A Vulcan science vessel surveyed the planet fifty years ago. The file states it's an M class world with a flourishing eco system, no intelligent life," informed my Vulcan wife.
"Sounds promising," stated Archer.
"They did report one interesting thing which bears mention…a species of flying reptile, some over two hundred meters long. They're also said to breath fire," T'Pol added.
"There has been lingering questions over the accuracy of this report," T'Pol stated when she saw our skeptical looks.
"There's a ship…it's on an intercept course," Malcolm informed us.
"I don't recognize the configuration," T'Pol said as she put it up on the view screen.
"Doesn't look very friendly," observed Malcolm and the captain agreed as he ordered us to tactical alert.
"Captain Archer I am Harrad-Sar," a green skinned Orion said as he was put on the viewer.
"Deactivate your weapons systems immediately or I'll be forced to open fire," he added.
"You're still targeting my ship," Harrad-Sar commented a few moments later.
"And you're targeting mine. It seems we're at an impasse," said the captain.
"Not for long."
"Instead of sitting here pointing guns at each other why don't we deactivate our weapons together," suggested Archer.
"Very well," the Orion agreed.
"I have a proposal to make," continued Harrad-Sar when the weapons were shut off.
"I'm listening."
"I prefer to discuss business in person. You're invited aboard my ship."
"We've dealt with your people before. The experience wasn't one I care to repeat. If you can give me some idea of what this is about…," asked the captain.
"What I have to say will smooth relations between your Starfleet and the Orion Syndicate. My hospitality is renowned captain…I don't offer it to everyone. Once I have been refused I never offer it again."
Just the captain and I went over after I assured him I am all he needs.
"I am a privateer. My allegiance is to myself alone. I learn my living in various ways…buying, selling. You have acquired something of a reputation captain," Harrad-Sar explained as he poured us a drink a few minutes later.
"Favorable I hope," said Archer.
"Well you're wanted in the Klingon Empire and the Orion Syndicate. I would have imagined such a man would have had a more robust appetite."
"With all those people after me I need to stay quick on my feet. You said you had something important to discuss with us."
"It's poor custom to discuss business before entertainment," the Orion said before clapping to call our entertainment.
Three Orion women came out and danced for us. I enjoyed the show as I blocked their pheromones.
"What do you think," asked Harrad-Sar.
"Very nice," answered Archer.
"I think Navaar likes you Commander Tucker," suggested Harrad-Sar.
"I think D'Nesh and Maras like you captain," he added.
"Now we can talk business," Harrad-Sar stated as the women left.
Harrad-Sar fed us a story about a magnacite rich planet which he wanted Starfleet to mine in a partnership.
"I insist you both accept a gift as my guest. Commander Tucker I give you Navaar, Captain her sisters."
Naturally we accepted.
"So what is his plan really," asked the captain when we were back aboard our ship.
"He wants your head. The women will be able to manipulate us with their pheromones. He thinks they'll disable the ship and we'll be easy pickings. I've already sent an update to the crew members' personal shields so they'll block the pheromones and keep it activated until I implement the solution to stop the pheromones."
"And the solution," asked the captain.
"We'll have to slave bond the women to us," I answered with a grin which the captain returned.
"Erika might go for one but not both…Malcolm can take the other," said the captain.
"One of my girls can cast the binding charms when you are ready to complete the ritual. Just hit this button on this communicator when you are about to finish," I instructed the captain before finding Malcolm and explaining the same.
Malcolm readily agreed. I made my way to my quarters where Navaar was waiting for me.
"How may I serve you master," asked Navaar.
Insert smut scene here
When our newest crew member's former master showed up he thought we were disabled. We let him think that until he got close enough and then we opened fire. He didn't last long once our two escort ships added to the hammering. There was soon nothing left of the Orion bastard.
