The recently promoted Junior Grade Lt. Tom Paris examined his surroundings after being transported down to a system of caves on a planet with large magnecite formations along with his mate Chief Engineer B'Elanna Torres and Ensign Durst.
"Voyager we are all set down here. Have fun on your survey," the Pilot announced over the com.
"Will do Tom," Ensign Kim's voice replied back. "You three have fun with your scans."
"I am surprised the Captain doesn't get after you two with all of the screwing around you and Harry pull, Tom," B'Elanna commented.
"The Captain loves me. She would never reprimand me for something small," Harry declared with mock arrogance in his tone and a teasing grin.
"I'm sure," the Klingon hybrid observed with a small grin at her mate's antics.
B'Elanna's feelings for the handsome blonde genius had only grown stronger as time progressed and she got to know him better. Officially, B'Elanna's quarters were adjacent to Tom Paris' living space but unofficially she had moved in with her resourceful boyfriend. The Captain probably knew of the new living arrangements but the redheaded woman made no comment. Most females onboard Voyager seemed to have a soft spot for the gorgeous Pilot.
"What was that noise?" Ensign Durst questioned in a harsh whisper as he spun around to look behind where the trio was checking their gear.
Durst had just enough time to get his hand on his phaser before the Vidiian stun weapon impacted the Starfleet officer's chest. B'Elanna and her magical beau were hit next but the immortal sorcerer didn't go down like his girlfriend. Harry had picked up an unusual force field which seemed to read as rock formations on Voyager sensors. But the Caretaker's technology showed the force field for what it truly was, Vidiian cloaking technology that made the Voyager crew think the planet was uninhabited. The perceptive warlock had picked up on the Vidiian bastards sneaking up on his friends but chose to hold off on acting when his senses told him the weapons were set on stun. A shield projected around the surface of his skin kept the eldest Potter from losing consciousness.
"Thank you for this…really. I have been looking for a good fight to work off my frustrations," the war mage declared as he turned and faced three surprised Vidiians who quickly gathered themselves to fire their weapons in unison.
When this proved ineffectual the three disfigured aliens switched to the kill setting which caused the warrior to grin as he closed the distance to the nearest Phage infected. A piercing curse drilled the heart out of the nearest alien before the sorcerer's other hand shot out and took off the top half of his next opponent's body with a blasting curse. The last Vidiian was in shock as he faced the blonde alien with glowing green eyes.
"You know…it really pisses me off when people attack my mates," the Potter male growled.
Moments later the third alien was writhing on the ground screaming so loudly his vocal organs were disintegrating as he slowly burned up from the inside out. The curse was one of the more effective ways to both punish and kill an opponent at the same time which the magical colleges back on Potter's Moon had come up with since the exodus of the Potter family from Earth.
"Oh come out come out wherever you are," called the incredibly powerful wizard as he stepped over the ashes of the third Vidiian and started walking towards where his senses told him the rest of the Vidiians were mobilizing in alarm due to the scream that had issued from their dying comrade.
The mobilization would do the organ thieves and murderers no good.

"So you didn't get hit like B'Elanna and Ensign Durst when the Vidiians initially attacked you?" Janeway clarified as she was debriefed in the infirmary by her favorite Pilot and the focus of many of her dreams of late.
"No, I managed to roll out of the way just in time. I then managed to take one of the enemy fighters out before my Phaser was damaged from the Vidiian weapons fire. I was close enough by that point that I was able to hit another one in the face and take his weapon before ducking behind one of the rocky outcroppings. I quickly modified the weapon to make it more…efficient. From there I took out my opponents one by one. The other Vidiians were alerted by the noise of the fight and they came for me. I fought back," explained Harry.
"You fought back rather well," observed Janeway as she thought back to the initial reports given by Tuvok and his team as they freed the Vidiians' prisoners who had been used to dig out tunnels before having their organs stolen. "I'm not sure I would call that weapons modification efficient."
"Given the circumstances I didn't have a lot to work with but I made do," Harry replied.
"Yes, well good work Tom. I'm just glad you and the others are alright. Now get some rest," Kathryn instructed. "You have had some rather harrowing mishaps over the last day or so."
Harry simply nodded as he laid his head back and closed his eyes, not really tired but certainly not turning down the opportunity to take a nap. It had taken awhile for Voyager to return from its survey mission which left the sorcerer time to clean up the mess he had made to jive with the story he came up with. A nap wasn't in the cards as the mage felt a curvy female form crawl up onto the medical bed pressing against his muscular physique.
"Thank you for saving me," B'Elanna purred. "I want to thank you properly. Kes has Durst sedated and the Doctor is on the holodeck for quite some time."
Harry wasn't complaining as his lover kissed him sensually and started exploring his chiseled form with her hands. The ageless Potter was definitely enjoying his time onboard the starship Voyager. It was good to be a wizard.

"Captain, I am detecting high levels of iron oxide, rust," Ensign Kim announced.
"Would you mind telling me how iron could rust in space without oxygen?" Janeway questioned.
"Well it is probably not a natural phenomenon or whatever object the rust trail came from was rusted before it journeyed into space," Harry suggested.
"Good point Mr. Paris. Alter our course to follow the rust trail," the redhead instructed.
As the starship followed the trail Harry Kim picked up more unusual readings.
"There are traces of complex hydrocarbons; benzene, ethylene, acetylene," Mr. Kim announced.
"That would be gasoline. It was a liquid fuel used centuries ago, the 21st century to be exact, on Earth back before the internal combustion engine was phased out. And this explains why we are picking up rust and gasoline," the warlock declared while his sensor panel focused in on a small object, an old Earth made truck.
The wizard put the transport on the main view screen.
"You don't see that every day," Janeway said.
OP – Star Trek Voyager – OP – Star Trek Voyager – OP – Star Trek Voyager – OP
A spare cargo bay a few minutes later…
A group of senior officers entered the cargo bay where the old rusty truck had been transported.
"This is a 1936 Ford truck," Harry informed his colleagues immediately. "It was a ground based transport."
The truck was almost five decades older than Harry himself was but the sorcerer had made sure to study anything Tom Paris was known to enthuse about in order to better portray the wayward pilot.
"What does 1936 Ford designate Mr. Paris?" Janeway inquired.
"Ford was the name of the company which designed, manufactured, and sold the vehicle. Henry Ford was the founder of that company. 1936 is the year this car was manufactured," explained the Potter male. "One of my hobbies is to study history extensively. I was particularly fascinated with the 20th and 21st centuries," the mage added as he lifted the old style hood and examined the engine.
"Was this an early hover car?" Ensign Kim asked.
"No, this was before the hover car, about a century before. This machine would probably still run but starting it on a starship would be stupid. These things pumped out carbon dioxide in quite high quantities.
"Traces of potassium nitrate, ammonium, and methane in the back here," B'Elanna observed as she examined her tricorder readings.
"That would be horse manure. This looks like it was a farming truck," Harry pointed out.
"How did this truck get here?" Janeway asked, not expecting an answer.
"I would guess that this is a case of aliens visiting Earth long before our civilization broke the warp barrier. The NX-01 Enterprise under Captain Archer discovered one such civilization. It would not be hard to imagine that there were other such cases," the sorcerer suggested.
"Your logic is sound," Tuvok concluded.
"What is this device?" Ensign Kim questioned while pointing to the radio.
"That was an early AM radio. It is an amplitude modulating receiver," the immortal wizard explained as he brought his tricorder near the radio console and activated a feature of the modified device which wirelessly induced power to flow in the truck's wires. "This is how it works," explained the engineer as the radio powered up.
The sorcerer began turning the tuning dial while explaining the radio features with Janeway leaning over his lap. Suddenly a spike of noise drew the mage's attention.
"What was that?" Janeway asked.
"That my dear Captain was a radio signal," Harry replied as he turned back to the correct frequency and was rewarded by a familiar set of pulses playing on the truck's speakers.
"What does that mean?" B'Elanna wanted to know.
"That is an ancient distress call from Earth called an S.O.S. I would say we have a mystery on our hands that can only be solved by locating the source of that signal," Harry suggested.
"Then let's go find that source," Janeway instructed.
OP – Star Trek Voyager – OP – Star Trek Voyager – OP – Star Trek Voyager – OP
Voyager tracked the S.O.S. to the third planet in a nearby star system, a class L world with an oxygen-argon atmosphere. The trinimbic interference in the upper atmosphere made it next to impossible to get a scan of the surface. For the same reason the transporters were out. It would be dangerous for a shuttle pod to enter the atmosphere because the shields on the small craft were inadequate to fly through the atmospheric layer generating the interference.
"We could land Voyager," Janeway suggested.
"The risk of landing could be worth it if this situation is another Earth colony," Harry agreed.
"And anything that could transport that truck from Earth is worth investigating," Kathryn added. "Mr. Paris, prepare the ship for landing."
"Aye, aye Captain," the warlock agreed.
It was a tense few minutes as Voyager cruised through some rough turbulence in the upper atmosphere of the planet but soon the skilled immortal pilot had the starship resting on the continent where the distress signal was coming from.
"That was the smoothest landing I have ever heard of in such conditions Mr. Paris," Janeway praised the object of her many nighttime erotic fantasies.
"Thank you Captain," the sorcerer replied.
"Now that we are through most of the upper atmospheric interference I have isolated the distress signal at just over two kilometers away. I am also picking up some kind of power source at a different site Captain," Ensign Kim announced.
"We will need two away teams then," Janeway said.
"If the shuttles stay really close to the ground we should be able to use them to cover the distance without much risk. The turbulence is mostly in the middle to upper atmosphere," Harry suggested.
"I like the idea of having extra defenses and resources on hand," Kathryn agreed with her brilliant pilot.
Chakotay went to investigate the power source while Janeway led the team heading towards the distress signal. The oldest Potter was on Janeway's team. It was only a few minutes later that the warlock piloted the shuttlecraft into view of an old aluminum airplane. Harry hadn't laid eyes on such a craft physically for quite a few centuries. The sorcerer had visited a couple of non-magical air shows when he began to grow interested in science.
"That is an old Earth airplane," Harry pointed out as he put the shuttle down beside the much older craft. "I don't recall the exact designations."
"It is nice to see you don't know everything Mr. Paris," Kathryn teased as the group exited the shuttle.
"The distress signal is coming from inside the plane," Ensign Kim announced unnecessarily while examining his tricorder.
"The AM transmitter is hooked up to an alien fusion generator," the Potter mage clarified as he examined the readings from his more advanced tricorder.
The tricorder was enhanced with Caretaker derived technology.
"Chakotay to Janeway," the Commander's voice spoke up from the Captain's com.
"Go ahead Commander," Janeway replied.
"We have located the power source which appears to be inside of a mine shaft of some sort. It would be prudent to bring an additional security unit out here to secure the area," Chakotay explained.
"Make it so Commander. Mr. Paris and I will be joining you shortly," Janeway announced before closing the connection. Turning to Tuvok and Ensign Kim the Captain ordered, "Analyze the alien fusion generator and investigate anything worth knowing about the distress call."
The Captain and her Pilot were soon exiting the shuttlecraft at the site of the power source readings. B'Elanna had joined the security team along with Kes.
"There seems to be another fusion based power source up ahead," B'Elanna announced as the security force led the way into the mine shaft. Soon the group came upon the open entrance of an alien facility that was well lit with yellow lighting.
"This is a stasis facility," Harry pointed out as the group entered the compound and saw several rows of stasis units.
"A cryo-stasis system," B'Elanna concurred as she analyzed the readings of her tricorder. "And there are beings inside."
"I am picking up eight beings Captain," Kes spoke up. "And they are all human."
Further investigation by the quite surprised away team found that the humans were from the same time period as the airplane and the truck discovered in space.
"This one is a female who is wearing a leather jacket of some kind and a pair of gold wings," Janeway announced after rubbing some of the frost off of the front of the stasis unit.
"That means she is a pilot," Harry explained.
"She has a nametag. It says A. Earhart," Janeway read.
Harry whirled and strode up to the stasis chamber, intently reading the nametag.
"Amelia Earhart. Hot damn," the warlock exclaimed.
"Why does that name sound familiar?" B'Elanna queried.
"Because she was quite famous in history," Harry informed his mate. "Amelia was one of the first women to ever fly a plane and the first to cross the Atlantic. Earhart and her navigator vanished when they tried to fly around the world. No wreckage was ever found. One theory at the time was that they were abducted by aliens. This was considered absurd by most during that period because this was before life on other planets was confirmed. It looks like those 'crackpots' were right. I am betting that plane we found earlier was Earhart's plane," the warlock suggested.
"Can we wake them up?" Kathryn asked the Pilot and Kes.
"It shouldn't be a problem. I will have to use the replicator onboard the shuttle to synthesize the correct revival injections but it should only take me a few minutes," the wizard replied.
"Then please do so," an excited Captain requested.
"We are going to have to be very careful how we handle this," B'Elanna suggested. "Alien life forms right when they wake up could be startling for these people even more so than ending up on another world. Tuvok, take this," the Chief Engineer instructed while handing the Vulcan a small band that fit around his wrist. "This device is a holo imager in miniaturized. While Tom is getting the injections I will tune it so that the holo imager will conceal your ears. Kes won't need one because her hair covers her pointy ears. I have a holo imager that makes me look completely human."
A few minutes later the two medically trained crew members arrived back in the chamber with the injections.
"You used the holo imagers," the sorcerer commented as he went about deactivating the stasis units. "A wise precaution," the mage added as the cryo fields destabilized and the polymer doors rose up to reveal the people contained within. "Search these people for weapons, especially concealed weapons. These people come from an era where war on Earth was prevalent."
Harry retrieved a pistol from the inside jacket pocket of a bulky man while Ensign Kim took a military firearm from a Japanese man who was in dress uniform. Kes and the handsome immortal went about injecting the eight people from another time period in Earth's history. Color quickly returned to the injected people and they started to come around. Earhart was one of the first to wake. Janeway was right there to greet the revived. Soon everyone was awake. Kes began running scans to make sure the revived were healthy.
"I know this must seem quite strange," Janeway began.
"Who are you and what is going on?" The man who had possessed the concealed weapon demanded.
"I demand you release me immediately," the Japanese officer added. "You are all speaking Japanese," the officer realized a moment later.
"It sounds to me like you sir are speaking English," the black farmer replied.
"You understand each other because of a piece of technology we possess which is called a universal translator," Janeway explained.
"Who are you people?" A frustrated Amelia Earhart asked.
"Look, just let us go home. We won't tell anybody," the farmer declared, thinking he was in some kind of government experiment.
"The hell we won't," the bulky man who was Earhart's navigator, Fred Noonan, broke in. "I'm going to let the world know what you people have done."
"Wow, you are quite the idiot aren't you," Harry decided to say, shocking quite a few people in the chamber. "I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that you think you are in some kind of secret experiment that isn't exactly legal. If we were that type of organization do you really think we would let you live to tell others? No, we would kill you."
"He has got a point Fred," Amelia pointed out. "If you people are not part of some secret experiment then what the hell is going on?"
"I will lay it out straight for you. You are on an alien world man light-years from Earth," the sorcerer explained as he raised his tricorder and projected a hologram showing the current position of the planet they were on relative to Earth. "The current year is 2371. You were put into cryogenic sleep, a coma if you will that doesn't allow you to age. You were abducted by aliens and we just found you here."
"That is absurd," Noonan declared, really getting on Harry's nerves.
"Do you remember anything that might seem like you were abducted by aliens? Ignoring of course the fact that I just showed you technology probably a century beyond anything you have experienced in your old lives," the mage replied.
"We were over the Pacific low on gas," Earhart spoke up. "We were looking to set down…," Amelia paused as sudden realization flooded her eyes. "Suddenly a bright light appeared in back of us. Our plane stopped dead before reversing. That is the last thing I remember."
"That was a tractor beam pulling you in. Basically the tractor beam cancelled out the gravity of Earth as it applied to you and snared you in with a combination of gravitational pull and magnetic forces," Harry explained. "I am sure you others remember something similar," continued the sorcerer, earning nods from the other seven reawakened Earthlings. "But if you want more proof just walk out that door behind you and up the mine shaft to the surface. There you will find several of our shuttlecraft. We can even take you to our starship to prove our claims further."
"Your suggestion sounds reasonable," Amelia said while throwing her navigator an intense look which signaled him to hold his tongue.
As the group began to head towards the surface Voyager's sensors picked up humanoid beings on the surface using some kind of deflection system to remain hidden from Voyager for as long as they had. Harry positioned himself toward the front of the group and therefore was the first person to step into the line of fire when the cloaked beings began to shoot at the emerging group of humans. The warlock rolled out of the way of the first shot and brought his phaser to bear on the enemy. The mage's enhanced senses allowed him to pinpoint his target better than any baseline human was capable of. Three quick phaser shots later and the enemy were unconscious.
"Good shots Mr. Paris," Janeway praised.
"I had my weapon on stun," Harry said as he got to his feet.
Chakotay ordered several of his men up onto the nearby ridge where the unconscious shooters were located. Several minutes later the dispatched Voyager crewmembers returned carrying three unconscious beings wearing a dark gray colored full body suit that served to hide the three natives from Voyager's sensors.
"Captain, they are human," the Ensign in the lead informed Janeway while lifting the hood from around his captive's face.
"This should prove interesting. Let's get everyone back to Voyager," the Captain instructed.
OP – Star Trek Voyager – OP – Star Trek Voyager – OP – Star Trek Voyager – OP
The three captured humans woke up suddenly after Harry and Kes injected them with a hypospray. Chakotay, Tuvok, and Janeway were also in the main conference room seated across the table from the now awake trio.
"How did you get here from Earth?" Kathryn questioned right away.
"You should know that. The Briare brought us here as slaves. You are working for the Briare. Why have you taken the 37's?" The lead male responded.
"Do you mean the 1937's?" The genius pilot of Voyager clarified.
"Yes, you went into the shrine and stole the 37's. You also disturbed the radio signal we have carefully been preserving for centuries," accused the leader of the away team's attackers while he stood up in anger.
"We do not work for these Briare. We are from Earth. Were these 37's some of the original humans taken from Earth?" Janeway queried.
The lead native sat down heavily at such a startling claim before explaining, "We are the descendants of the 37's. They were brought here fifteen generations ago from Earth by the Briare. There were three hundred 37's. Those that were in the shrine are all that are left. We broke free from our enslavement and now there are over one hundred thousand of us. Why would you remove the remaining 37's from the shrine?"
"So that we could revive them," Chakotay answered.
"But they are dead," the female native among the trio objected.
"No they weren't," Kes pointed out. "They were simply in a coma like state we call cryo-stasis."
"That is amazing," the native female declared. "The 37's are like monuments to our ancestors. Their shrine hasn't even been touched in generations."
"Mr. Evansville," Janeway spoke up, addressing the native leader. "We were hoping to utilize the Briare ship to get us back to Earth a little faster."
"I am sorry Captain. Our ancestors destroyed the Briare ship in the slave revolt," Evansville explained. "But any of your crew who would like to stay here are welcome to. We live in three gorgeous cities approximately fifty miles from here. Perhaps you would care for a tour."
"We would like that," Kathryn agreed.
OP – Star Trek Voyager – OP – Star Trek Voyager – OP – Star Trek Voyager – OP
A rotating tour was arranged so that all Voyager crew members could see the native cities that were very close approximations of the human cities back on Earth. This took several days. Harry got a chance to speak more with some of the 37's. These humans were even older chronologically than the immortal wizard was.
"How fast does this ship go?" Amelia asked as she sat in the pilot's seat of the starship.
"Warp 9.9 or in terms you are used to Voyager can travel about four billion miles per second," Harry explained.
"Do you think I could take her out for a spin?" Amelia inquired.
"After a few years of training maybe," was the warlock's response.
The Voyager crew was abuzz with talk about the offer to stay with the Earth colony in the Delta quadrant. The telepathic wizard had been taking a mental census and knew none of the Earth born Starfleet personnel would choose to remain in the Delta quadrant. The 37's were a different story. In the end all of the 37's chose to stay with the descendants of the much larger group that had been taken from Earth.
Several days later Amelia Earhart and her copilot stood watching with the other six 37's and Mr. Evansville as Voyager took off into the sky. Suddenly a package appeared out of nowhere in front of the female pilot. Amelia opened the box wrapped in old fashioned party wrapping paper with oddly enough broomsticks on it.
"What is it?" Evansville inquired.
"There is a letter on top addressed to me," Amelia replied.
Amelia opened the envelope and began reading the letter. The paper read:
Amelia,
I can't tell you how great it was to meet you. You know me as Tom Paris but I was born in the year 1981 on Earth. So you can understand my appreciation for someone of your time period. I am immortal. In this box you will find a shrunken ring. Set the ring up in your home and you will get the chance to meet some of my descendants. The ring establishes a wormhole with another identical device back on one of the moons in our solar system. The ring will self enlarge to allow people to pass through. You may wonder why if I possess such technology Voyager is stuck in the Delta quadrant. The truth is I could easily get Voyager home rather quickly but I have my reasons for this journey. As you have probably heard in the past it's not always the destination but how you got there that counts.
Perhaps some of my descendants will explain the situation further. If you choose to contact my descendants they will offer you and the seven other 37's a method to extend your lives indefinitely. I make this offer to you alone because I find I enjoy having those around who can understand references I make pertaining to the 20th century. People of this time period barely know any 20th century history. Indeed they consider it ancient Earth history. I'm sure we will meet again in the future.
Regards,
Tom Paris A.K.A. Harry Potter
"Well you don't see that every day," Amelia muttered before reaching down to pick up the package. "Come on, we've got some more exploring to do."

When Chakotay asked the Captain to borrow a shuttle and take the craft away from Voyager to observe a religious ritual in remembrance of his deceased father Harry convinced Kathryn to turn down Chakotay's request. The warlock did this by showing her detailed sensor readings of the region of space Voyager was stopped in to collect fuel. The scans showed quite a few Kazon ships in the surrounding territory. Fortunately the redhead leader of Voyager saw how dangerous such a position was so ordered the fuel collected as quickly as possible. Chakotay would just have to settle for performing the ritual either in his quarters or in the holodeck.

Stardate 48892.1
Harry was called to the bridge.
When he arrived Janeway informed the pilot, "We have detected some sort of strange magnetic disturbance off of the port bow. We are going to take a closer look."
A few minutes later Harry had the ship within visual range.
"On screen," Kathryn ordered.
"It looks like some kind of energetic vapor at this distance," Chakotay declared.
"Magnify," Janeway commanded.
"Space dwelling life forms," Harry corrected Chakotay as the enhanced view swam into focus.
"Full sensor scan," Kathryn instructed.
"Their internal energy patterns do appear to be consistent with discrete organic processes," Ensign Kim confirmed.
"Go to half impulse Mr. Paris. Take Voyager into range for the bio scanner to do its work," Janeway declared.
"Aye Captain," Harry agreed as he did so.
The Voyager crew began analyzing the sensor readings. When the ship pulled into bio scanner range Harry sensed the unusual magnetic field that encompassed the vessel and reacted strangely with his own aura. The females onboard Voyager noticed something strange as well. Tom Paris suddenly became the focus of their thoughts. Harry was mildly alarmed to realize that his usual control over his attractive aura was degrading. In turn the creatures seemed to be acting strangely towards the vessel as well. At over a thousand kilometers per second the creatures swarmed around Voyager. The magnetic field of the swarm began disabling many of Voyager's systems. The vessel still had warp capability but using the warp drive with the creatures so close would probably harm the creatures.
Before the bridge crew could do much to get out of this situation the turbo lift doors opened.
"Kes, What are you doing…," Janeway began to ask when she noticed the Ocampa walking out of the conveyor.
Kes swept her gaze around the bridge crew, literally freezing everyone in their tracks telepathically. Suddenly the bridge crew could only move their heads and couldn't speak with no control of their bodies from the neck down. Harry was the only one that could move.
"Kes…are you alright?" The immortal mage asked the younger telepath while already knowing she was far from alright.
The ancient wizard had been around long enough to know when a woman was highly aroused. Kes' eyes had turned a mixture of seaweed and radiation green. Sweat clung to the attractive young woman's form.
"I need you Tom," Kes growled. "Something has prematurely stimulated my Elogium. I can only conceive a child within the next fifty hours. I choose you. Will you give me a child Tom?"
Harry sensed that if he didn't say yes Kes would simply attempt to make him.
"Of course I will Kes. But is it really necessary to freeze the crew?" The sorcerer queried.
"I want them to watch," Kes growled as she closed the distance between herself and the pilot rapidly and straddled his lap.
Smut Scene Redacted (See Hpfanficarchive or Ficsite for Erotic Content)
Immediately the bridge crew could move again.
"What happened?" Janeway asked as she rushed forward in concern for Kes.
"Her mind isn't her own at the moment Captain. I was mentally joined with her and Kes is experiencing incredible urges driving her to mate. I think she needs to go see the Doctor. I was able to shut down her mind since she was joined with me. She is just sleeping now," the immortal sorcerer explained.
"By all means get her to sickbay Mr. Paris," Kathryn agreed, concerned for her favorite native of the Delta quadrant. "I need to figure out a way to get us out of this swarm of creatures."
"Captain," Ensign Kim spoke up after he had collected himself sufficiently from the highly erotic display he had just witnessed. "The swarm appears to be moving off."
"I wonder what caused that. The only thing of significance that occurred was that little display we just saw," Kathryn pointed out.
"Captain," Tuvok spoke up. "Kes is a powerful telepath. It is possible that when she lost control she drove the creatures off."
"That must have been it," Harry agreed, quick to latch onto a solution for Voyager's crew because he had just realized it was likely he himself that had scared the creatures off when he had lost control of his aura.
Harry would later take a jaunt back in time and use his Potter Moon derived sensors to analyze the situation. The warlock eventually determined it had been the surge from his aura which had reached out into the surrounding space. The swarm of alien entities was mainly female with one large bull the size of Voyager. The surge of masculinity that surged through the powerful immortal's aura was enough to frighten off that bull. The females followed the bull.
Harry, a more composed B'Elanna, and Kathryn took Kes down to sickbay to find out what was wrong with the Ocampan. It only took the Doctor a few minutes to come to a conclusion.
"Your assumptions were correct. Kes was being affected by the creature's energy field. She wasn't in her right mind. But this mating state Kes was prematurely induced into was false. She is not yet ready to have a child," the Doctor informed the group.
Kes whose mind was much clearer now looked relieved actually.
"I don't mind the idea of having a child. I'm just not ready yet," Kes explained. "Captain I'm sorry what I did to the crew. Tom, B'Elanna, I practically raped you."
"Don't worry about it Kes. We won't hold it against you," Kathryn assured her friend.
"You can't rape the willing Kes," B'Elanna assured.
"I agree," Harry added.
"Well, I will leave you three to discuss these new developments," Janeway declared. "Tom, B'Elanna, you have the rest of your shift off," the Captain added before departing.
The Doctor disappeared to the holodeck.
"So what does this mean?" Kes queried her two new lovers.
B'Elanna and Harry made eye contact.
"I think this new development means we should explore any feelings we have towards each other," B'Elanna said as she took Kes' right hand.
"B'Elanna and I have had feelings for you for sometime Kes," the Potter mage added as he took the Ocampan's left hand.
"You have really had feelings for me?" Kes inquired with surprise.
"Yes, we have," B'Elanna agreed. "Come on, let's go get cleaned up. That was definitely a messy time we had up on the bridge," she added.
The wizard and his now two girlfriends left the medical bay and headed towards their quarters. Kes would be spending a lot more time in the quarters Harry and B'Elanna shared than her own from then on. It was the start of an eternal relationship.
