"Paige should have been here by now," Chris declared as he paced back and forth anxiously.
"Adjusting to living with a new boyfriend can be tough," Phoebe pointed out.
"Yeah…not everyone is as amazing as Harry," Piper added.
Harry threw Piper a grin for the compliment. It had been a month and a half since Paige had moved in with Richard. At first Phoebe and Piper had thought to offer Paige's empty room to Chris and Bianca. But the newly reunited couple had wanted some space to get to know one another again intimately. The problem was that neither really had a job. Chris was very busy being a whitelighter and trying to stop whoever was going to attempt to turn Wyatt evil. Bianca could get a job and she had done just that. Harry had given Bianca a job working running a magical supply shop Harry set up in New York. Bianca would teleport to New York each day and run the shop before returning home in the evening.
Harry had started buying up all of the homes on the street and in the surrounding area. He did this for several reasons. The first reason was that less non-magical humans living near the Halliwell sisters meant less people that might uncover the truth about magic. The second reason was that occasionally someone Harry and the Halliwells knew who was in the know about magic might need a home. It was one of these homes that Harry offered to Chris and Bianca to live in. Harry didn't charge the couple any rent because Harry considered Chris' work as the sisters' whitelighter payment enough. Harry was dating two of the Charmed Ones and two other members of the Halliwell family. As far as Harry was concerned he had a vested interest in seeing the success and well-being of the Halliwell family. Meta was living in another one of these homes. The Titan was getting herself reacquainted with the societies on Earth which had evolved greatly since she had last been awake. From time to time she would also run errands for her master and patrol the neighborhood surrounding their home.
With only Piper, Wyatt, and Phoebe living in the manor full time this allowed Harry to get physical with the sisters in interesting places throughout the manor. While Harry and Piper hadn't taken things all the way with their physical relationship they were quite explorative orally and with their hands.
"She still shouldn't let that interfere with her duties," Chris muttered.
"Alright…we'll do this without Paige. If we get into trouble we have Harry here as back-up," Piper pointed out.
"Ok," Chris reluctantly agreed.
Chris was uncertain how to feel about Harry. On one hand Piper was seriously dating Harry which could prevent Chris from ever being conceived. On the other hand Harry had saved both Chris and Bianca and had made sure Chris never needed to be conceived in this timeline. Harry had done so much for Chris and his fiancé that gratitude and appreciation was the dominant feeling Chris felt for Harry Potter.
"Here I go," Phoebe announced before jumping into the air and levitating.
The demon Chris had sent the sisters after was a demon with an unknown name attracted to magic. The demon was a green goo-like demon that reminded Harry quite a bit of a demonic version of that non-magical movie from the 1990's Flubber. Harry called the demon Evil-Flubber. Evil-Flubber exploded out of the ground and reached up towards Phoebe engulfing her in goo. Harry quickly put a shield up around his levitating girlfriend to prevent her from being crushed. Piper gave a short cry of surprise before hitting Evil-Flubber with her blasting power. Goo exploded everywhere.
"Yuck," Piper declared as Phoebe returned to the ground.
Phoebe was clear of the goo thanks to Harry's shield. Harry used a cleaning charm on Piper and made to use one on Chris when Chris stopped Harry.
"I'll take a shower thank you," Chris said. "Those cleaning charms of yours feel really…intimate."
"They do," Piper agreed.
"You can use our shower and Harry can clean the residue up with magic," Phoebe suggested. "That way you don't gunk up your own shower."
"Good idea," Chris agreed.
The group relocated to Halliwell Manor. Harry let the aversion ward he had been maintaining at the factory drop so that the workers could return to their jobs.

Paige appeared in the kitchen of Halliwell Manor just as Chris was coming down the stairs after showering.
"Oh my god…I'm so sorry. Did I miss the vanquish?" Paige asked.
"Yes. But we handled it," Piper reassured her sister.
"With help from Harry," Phoebe agreed.
"Thank you, Harry," Paige said gratefully.
Paige tried discerning if her sisters were angry with her and almost wished she had Phoebe's empathic abilities.
"We really aren't mad," Phoebe assured after sensing Paige's worry.
That was one of the aspects of Harry's presence Paige most appreciated about the handsome wizard. Ever since Harry had started dating both of Paige's sisters Phoebe and Piper had been much happier and quicker to forgive. Harry didn't do everything for the sisters because he didn't want them to lose their edge in a fight. But he made certain that they weren't truly harmed. And outside of the demon fighting Harry made the lives of Piper and Phoebe much easier. Harry's good qualities almost made Paige wish she was dating him instead of Richard. But she had started seeing Richard before she had met Harry and she would see her relationship with Richard continue. She just had to remind herself not to compare Richard to Harry.
"I really am sorry," Paige said. "I had to wait for Richard to leave in order to orb. He was pretty slow to leave today."
"Why did you have to wait for him to leave?" Phoebe asked with confusion.
"I asked Richard not to use his magic so I am trying to be supportive of him. I don't want to use magic in front of him," Paige explained.
"Ah," Piper said in understanding while inwardly wondering at the possibility of a relationship working between one of the most powerful witches on the planet and a magic-addict who really shouldn't use magic.
Harry, Phoebe, and Chris were wondering the same thing.
"Couldn't you have just walked into the garage and orbed or something?" Phoebe asked.
"I could have but he would have known," Paige explained.
"Ok…so we get you a motorcycle which you say you are using to drive to your sisters. You ride around the corner from the manor house and orb with the motorcycle to here. I can put a short range diversion ward on the motorcycle which you can activate just before you orb so nobody pays you any attention," Harry suggested.
"I like the sound of that but motorcycles aren't exactly cheap," Paige pointed out.
"You can borrow one of mine," Harry suggested while mentally communicating with Dobby and sending the house elf out to buy several motorcycles.
"I didn't know you had motorcycles," Phoebe said.
"They are a very recent acquisition," Harry answered.
"Richard wouldn't like me imposing on you like that and discussing it with him would involve another conversation about magic. We'll just stick to the current method for now," Paige said. "Thank you anyway for the generous offer."
In truth Paige could see Richard becoming jealous of Harry with that offer on the table. Richard had already expressed several small comments about Harry being a pretty awesome person. The comments had seemed innocent enough but Paige could read between the lines. Richard was finding it hard to compare.
"Are you ready to help me sort through some of the stuff in the attic left over from when Gran owned the house?" Piper asked her sisters.
"Oh…that's right. You did ask us about that for today," Paige said. "Sure. I'm game."
"Me too," Phoebe agreed. "Are you going to come with or do something else?" Phoebe asked Harry.
"I'll give you three some alone time for sister bonding," Harry suggested. "Do you want me to take Wyatt?" He asked Piper.
"No. Leo has him today up there," Piper explained while pointing up.
"Ok. Give me a shout if you need me," Harry said before teleporting out.
Harry reappeared in his living room to find Patty present watching her daughters holographically. Harry sat down in the love-seat next to her. She immediately snuggled up next to him. Even though they had been seeing each other longer Harry and Patty had only been about as physically intimate as he was with Piper. Some relationships just moved at a slower pace physically.
"Some of the things in that attic are magical. Actually a lot of the items are magical. I didn't realize Piper was planning to go through them," Patty explained while watching the hologram intently.
"Oh boy…knowing your daughters as I do I think some mischief is about to ensue," Harry predicted.
In the hologram, Paige put on a pair of red boots that had belonged to Penny Halliwell. Paige vanished.
"I'm reading a temporal transit event," Harry announced.
"Damn…I didn't think mom's return-to-owner spell was powerful enough to pull Paige back through time," Patty said.
"You think Paige went back to when your mother first cast that spell?" Harry asked.
"Possibly," Patty replied. "Can you track her?"
"Let me see," Harry said as he began manipulating the holo-interface.
While Harry did that, Phoebe and Piper consulted Chris and Leo briefly before deciding to summon Penny from the dead. It took some time but finally Harry located Paige temporally.
"She's in 1973," Harry explained as he brought up the exact date.
"That's right before my father was killed," Patty said. "Mom never told me the details of his death…just that he was killed by a demon. I was very young at the time and was staying at my aunt's house. I found out more details from my father when I talked with him about it in heaven."
While Harry had been isolating Paige's temporal location much had gone on in the Halliwell home. Penny Halliwell had been summoned and Evil-Flubber was back. As it turned out Evil-Flubber hadn't been vanquished the first time and Chris stated that it had taken the Power of Three to do it in the future. It was about this time that Phoebe asked Harry to come over. Harry had put a charm on the combs he had gifted each Halliwell woman. Whenever one of them called Harry the comb would let him know. Harry appeared in the Halliwell Manor living room.
"Who is this?" Penny asked.
"Grams…this is Harry, our boyfriend," Piper introduced.
"What do you mean our boyfriend?" Penny asked.
"Harry has multiple girlfriends and we share him," Phoebe explained.
"That isn't how I raised you girls," Penny declared with no small amount of surprise in her tone.
"Grams, we didn't bring you back here to be judged. We brought you back here to help us find Paige. We love Harry and our relationship with him is our own business," Piper stated.
There was shocked silence in the living room. Piper had never spoken to her grandmother like that.
"We can discuss this topic later. Right now we need to find Paige. Which boots did she put on?" Penny asked.
"Red go-go boots," Phoebe replied.
"Damn. Those boots took Paige back to the Summer of Love which was one of the most crucial times in my life," Penny explained. "Your Grandfather Allen was a sweet man but he led me straight down the hippie-dippie trail."
"You were a flower child," Piper said incredulously.
"Let's not dwell," Penny replied. "Allen was killed by my best friend who I didn't know at the time was evil. I walked in right after Allen was killed. My peaceful days ended right about then along with that bitch Robin. If she hadn't killed Allen I might still be a flower child. You and your sister would be dead because I wouldn't have raised survivors. You'll need to go back there but you can't change the past."
"Harry is coming with us. He's done the whole time travel thing before," Phoebe stated in a non-negotiable tone.
Grams looked like she wanted to argue but she didn't.
"Here," Harry told Chris while handing Chris a vial of potion. The sisters were getting dressed appropriately for the time period they would be traveling back to. "This won't vanquish Evil-Flubber but it will stunt his growth."
"Evil-Flubber?" Chris said as he took the vial.
"The name seemed appropriate," Harry replied wile transfiguring his clothes to the appropriate style.
"Thanks," Chris said.
Soon Harry stood between Phoebe and Piper.
"I've got the spell ready," Penny announced.
"That's ok," Harry said. "I've got this."
Harry and his girlfriend vanished into the past.
"What is he?" Penny asked Leo.
"We're not sure," Leo replied.
That more than anything was disturbing to Penny. If the Elders didn't know then she didn't know how to proceed.

The trio rematerialized in a park surrounded by hippies. Paige was standing before them along with a younger version of Penny Halliwell. Penny's husband Allen was also present.
"Hey, Paige. We've been looking for you," Piper declared.
"Welcome," Penny said. "I'm Penny. Any friends of Paige's are friends of ours. But you shouldn't use magic so openly."
"I'm Allen. Peace and Love," Allen added.
"Oh yes…Love. Lots and lots of love," Phoebe said with an excited smile.
"Are you here for the happening at the manor tonight?" Penny asked.
"No," Piper replied.
"Yes," Harry answered at the same time.
Piper turned to her boyfriend with a questioning eyebrow raised.
"We weren't here for it specifically but we'd like to come," Phoebe suggested wondering where her boyfriend was going with this.
Just then the sound of sirens was heard and old style police cars pulled up to the gathering.
"It's the pigs," Allen declared.
A police officer, Bob, with a bullhorn stepped out of his car and shouted, "Ok everybody, let's break it up."
"This is a park, man. You can't control god's green earth," Ted another hippie declared.
"It's the taxpayer's green dollars that pay for this park," Bob rebutted. "And you're loitering. So move it."
"Hell no. We won't go," The hippies began chanting as a group.
Nightsticks were drawn by the police.
"They have no right. They have no powers. Turn their hate-sticks into flowers," Penny chanted while raising her arms.
The nightsticks were transformed into bouquets of flowers.
"Let's bail," Robin urged Penny and Allen. "If the cops catch us we'll miss tonight."
"Piper, freeze them," Phoebe urged.
Piper made to freeze the cops and discovered her active power didn't work. Harry grabbed the wrist of the police officer, Bob, that was about to slap a handcuff around Piper's wrist.
"Sorry mate," Harry said. "But the only bloke that ever gets to put handcuffs on her wrists is me and that's in the bedroom." Harry flipped Bob through the air and proceeded to counter the strikes of several other officers that moved at him."Leave now, ladies. I'll deal with this and meet up with you."
The sisters took off as Harry disabled all of the police officers. Harry watched as Patty invisibly followed her daughters. Patty had wanted to come along and Harry simply couldn't deny her the chance to see her father alive again.

Harry arrived back at the manor just in time to see Paige rescuing Allen from Robin, vanquishing Robin in the process.
"Paige, what did you do?" Piper asked.
"I saved Allen," Paige pointed out. "Shit," She said as she realized the implications.
A few moments later Penny came into the attic and asked, "Has anyone seen Robin?" When she noticed Allen lying on the floor with his hand holding the back of his head she asked, "What happened?"
"Robin attacked him," Paige answered.
"Are you hurt?" Penny asked.
"I'm alright but Robin said something about a warlock attacking tonight," Allen explained.
"There are enough witches here to take on one warlock," Piper pointed out.
"We don't believe in murder," Penny pointed out.
"Then you will die very quickly. The demons believe in killing you despite your beliefs," Harry said.
"We'll send everyone home so that the warlock has no reason to attack," Allen announced before leading his wife away.
"What if this new destiny for grandpa was supposed to happen?" Paige asked.
"If he was meant to die tonight death will come after him again," Phoebe explained. "Are your powers intact, Harry?"
"Yes," Harry confirmed.
"Why would that be?" Piper asked. "Why would your powers work but not ours?"
"Yours don't work because you haven't been born yet and that seems to be the rules of magic in regards to this time travel situation," Harry suggested. "As for why my powers work…I'm not sure."
Harry wasn't sure but he had suspicions.
"We need to be able to defend ourselves even if Harry is here," Paige pointed out.
"We could make some potions to use," Phoebe suggested. She went over to the Book of Shadows. "This book is significantly thinner than we are used to but it should have a few vanquishing potions in it."
"Sounds like a plan," Piper agreed. "I'll go see if the potions ingredients are in the same place."
"No need. Just tell me what you need and I'll acquire it for you. I get the feeling your hippie-grandmother isn't so happy with you right now since you were talking about fighting. Raiding her potions stores to make destructive potions isn't something she would be happy with," Harry pointed out.
"She won't exactly be happy when her husband is killed but I agree. No reason to make things harder sooner than necessary," Piper said before writing down lists of ingredients for the potions Phoebe had found.
OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP
"We need to talk," Piper told Allen and Penny.
"I agree. We need to talk with the demons and find a path of peaceful resolution," Allen said.
"The first thing my grandmother taught me was to never try to reason with demons," Piper replied.
"Your grandmother fought demons?" Penny said with surprise.
"Yes. She was a great woman who knew that demons can't be negotiated with. They kill and keep killing until a force of good stops them," Piper explained.
"If your grandmother hurt other living creatures she doesn't sound so great to me," Penny said. "I'm sorry."
"Penny's right," Allen said. "You can't be a savior and a murderer at the same time."
"What if a demon attacked your daughter? Would you fight to protect her?" Piper asked.
Suddenly Penny and Allen were frozen. Piper was fighting the freezing. Harry shrugged the warlock's power off but he kept still.
"Where are all the witches?" Nigel demanded. Nigel unfroze everybody and demanded. "Where are they?"
"We sent them home," Allen said. "The manor is yours. We won't fight you."
Nigel backhanded Allen to the ground. Penny gasped in shock.
"May peace and love from the moon above flow through your heart on the wings of a dove," Penny chanted at Nigel.
Nigel froze Penny again. Allen wasn't frozen. Nigel summoned a fireball and sent it at Penny. Allen jumped in front of the fireball but was hit. Allen fell to the ground dead even as Nigel unfroze Penny and Piper.
"No," Penny said as she shook Allen's shoulder.
"Your turn to join him, sweetheart," Nigel told Penny.
Phoebe threw a potion at Nigel that blasted the warlock across the room. He spotted Paige preparing another potion so blinked out of the manor. Penny continued to cry over Allen.
OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP
"Why are you so calm? That warlock just killed your husband. You should be angry," Phoebe told Penny as Penny brewed a potion.
"I'm angry at myself. I'm going to bind my magic because it did me no good in protecting my family," Penny lamented.
"It will do you good," Paige said.
"Paige, don't change things," Piper warned.
"Too late," Paige said. "We're your granddaughters."
"I'm your demon-hunting grams?" Penny said disbelievingly.
"Yes," Phoebe confirmed.
Before anything further could be discussed the cauldron Penny was working with exploded via a fireball from Nigel. Penny gestured with her hand and telekinetically tossed Nigel into a wall. Penny began throwing furniture at Nigel.
"Snuff this warlock, his days are done," Penny chanted. "But make him good for the ecosystem."
Nigel was transformed into flowers.
"That's a nice start, Grams," Piper declared.
"But we need to be going," Phoebe added.
"You probably shouldn't remember us," Paige suggested.
"I'll brew a forgetting spell for after you leave," Penny agreed.
Harry turned himself and the sisters invisible before hitting Penny with a memory charm. Then the group was gone back to the future with an extra passenger.

When the group reappeared in the manor they found Leo, Penny, and Chris holding back Evil-Flubber. Evil-Flubber had grown but not beyond the ability of Chris to contain using his powers.
"Drawing on the power of three, destroy this evil entity," Paige chanted.
Evil-Flubber disintegrated as power was drawn from the sisters into the spell.
"Again that was anti-climactic," Piper noted.
"I think we get plenty of climaxes in our lives," Phoebe said while throwing Harry a mischievous grin.
"How did things go in the past?" Penny asked her granddaughters.
Suddenly Allen materialized in the room looking around in confusion.
"Why does the manor look so much different?" Allen asked.
The sisters immediately turned their attention to Harry while Penny gaped at her first husband.
"I was able to save him and fake his death as far as Penny was concerned," Harry explained.
"But Allen is in heaven with me," Penny pointed out.
"A version of Allen," Harry clarified. "There are divergent timelines at play here."
"Time travel makes my head hurt," Piper muttered before stepping up to her grandfather. "Allen, I'm your granddaughter. This may be hard to believe but you have just traveled decades into the future."
Allen scanned everyone present and focused his gaze on Penny.
"Penny?" Allen asked.
"Yes Allen. It's me," Penny replied. "We've got a lot to catch you up on."

"You brought my dad back with us," Patty said excitedly as she was made visible once more when returned to her home.
"Yes. I'll bring him here and let him know who you truly are once things have settled down," Harry explained.
Allen was currently getting to know the sisters and settling into a house in the neighborhood.
"I think this deserves an extra special thank you," Patty declared while taking Harry's hand and leading him towards her bedroom.
Harry wasn't going to say no to that.

February 8th 2004
Harry walked into the preschool with Phoebe and Paige to see Piper standing talking to an attractive redhead. Piper came over when she noticed their arrival.
"Thank you for coming," Piper said before kissing Harry lightly in greeting.
"Of course," Harry assured.
"Why exactly are we here?" Phoebe asked.
"To show family support," Piper answered. "They look for that a lot, especially when the father isn't around much. Leo can't be around for the school."
Paige had picked up her phone and was going to make a call.
"Paige, don't let them see you making a call," Phoebe admonished.
"I was just worried about Richard. After that Karma spell he cast things have been rocky. I am worried he is going to freak out," Paige admitted. Richard had gone against Paige's direction that he not play around with magic trying to make up for his family's bad Karma and had used the Book of Shadows to cast a spell to near-disastrous results. "I'm beginning to question if I can save an innocent if I can't even save my boyfriend."
"Give it time," Harry advised. "What will happen will happen. Worrying about it won't help you. In fact it'll just hurt you. Focus on something else to take your mind off of it. What are you worrying about, Piper?"
This served to distract Paige's attention from her own problem.
"You know me too well," Piper said to her boyfriend. "According to Mrs. Vance I'm raising a child who is anti-social." Piper indicated Wyatt sitting by himself in a corner observing the other children play. "He has no friends."
Wyatt chose that moment to orb away. The sisters and Harry followed Wyatt to the manor. When they arrived they found Wyatt staring up at a doorway that had appeared on the landing of the staircase leading upstairs.
"That wasn't there before," Phoebe noted.
"That doorway is a magical portal," Harry advised. "I can sense the power coming off of it."
"Help," Someone shouted from behind the door.
"Orb Wyatt to Harry's house," Piper instructed Paige.
Paige took her nephew and orbed away. The doorway opened and a short dark haired man dressed in a uniform very similar to what Harry used to wear at Hogwarts came out of the door. Harry's surface telepathy identified the short man as Sigmund Neiman.
"Oh, thank god you're home," Sigmund said with relief.
Sigmund stopped speaking as he heard the sound of horse hooves on pavement. Sigmund spun just as a headless horseman wielding a sword materialized behind him. Sigmund screamed as his head was severed and the doorway slammed shut. Sigmund's head rolled down the stairs still animate.
"Was that a headless horseman?" Piper asked.
"Yes," Sigmund answered.
"Fascinating," Harry mused as he cast out with his magic and began scanning the head. "It appears you are being kept alive by the realm behind that door."
"Yes. That realm is called magic school," Sigmund explained as Harry conjured up a ring the diameter of Sigmund's neck and caused runes to materialize upon the outer track of the ring. Harry floated the ring onto Sigmund's neck stump. Immediately Sigmund's head floated into the air in the correct orientation. "Thank you," Sigmund said. "I am Sigmund. I cannot die while my body remains in magic school. I need your help to stop the horseman before he strikes again."
Paige returned at that moment.
"Do you believe him?" Piper asked Phoebe and Harry.
"He seems to be telling the truth," Phoebe answered with confidence born of her empathic abilities.
But everyone present knew that empaths could still be fooled though it was difficult.
"He's telling the truth," Harry assured. "Lead the way. You can control what direction you float in via your will."
Harry opened the door and Sigmund floated through. The sisters followed. They entered a very long looking hallway.
"Ignore my body. Somebody will be along for it shortly," Sigmund announced. "We must go to Gideon. He runs magic school to teach the next generation of good magic users. Gideon is an Elder."
Phoebe suddenly whispered and said, "There is a wolf following us."
Phoebe had one of the general purpose vanquishing potions vials in her hand ready to throw. The group turned but the wolf was gone.
"You might have seen a wolf but not everyone is supposed to see the same things in this place. Maybe only you were meant to see the wolf," Sigmund advised.
In front of the group a teenage girl floated out of a doorway on the left side of the hall while reading a book and floated into a doorway on the right side of the hall all without looking up.
"What was that about?" Piper asked.
"She was late to eleventh grade levitation," Sigmund explained before he started floating onward again.
The group came to a large set of double-doors. Students were busily bustling about in the Great Hall beyond the double-doors.
"Sigmund, oh dear," Gideon said from seemingly nowhere.
"Sir, you are under an invisibility spell," Sigmund advised.
The Elder Gideon suddenly became visible.
"My apologies," Gideon said. "And you are the Charmed Ones. You probably don't remember meeting me when you were little girls."
"No. We don't," Piper confirmed.
"How about you tell us what is going on that required our help," Phoebe suggested.
"Yes. Time is of the essence," Gideon said. "It all started with several seemingly innocent pranks. First was setting the rats from the pied piper loose. Then the north dorm was turned into a gingerbread house. Then the pranks turned cruel. The headless horseman was summoned and it is targeting teachers."
"Is the goal to shut down the school?" Paige questioned.
"That is all I can think of that it would be," Gideon admitted. "Though I admit it may be possible that there is another reason."
"Do you have any suspicions or leads?" Piper questioned.
"We do not believe any student possesses the level of power and skill necessary to summon the horseman," Sigmund answered.
"I suspect a demon from the outside has corrupted a student into working with them," Gideon posited. "Each of you is struggling with an issue in your lives right now. These grounds may contain the answers you seek. If you teach here you might find it easier to ferret out the source of evil. Investigating our nursery school should target your worries over Wyatt, Piper. If you follow the wolf she will guide you, Phoebe. But be warned the deeper you look the more you shall discover."
Gideon turned and disappeared in shadow.
"I didn't get any personalized advice," Paige pointed out.
"Try not to focus on that," Harry advised. "It won't help."
"He embodies cryptic guidance," Phoebe noted.
"Something we have come to expect from the Elders," Piper added.
"You should take over my class, Paige," Sigmund suggested. "I can help you. Although seeing me like this might disturb the students."
"You can be placed under an invisibility spell while you are present," Paige suggested.
"And I can cast a spell so that only the people you want to hear you can hear your voice. This would be Paige," Harry explained.
The group split up. Harry went with Phoebe initially. They walked back to where she had first encountered the wolf.
"Where do you think the wolf is?" Phoebe asked after they had searched for a while.
"It's nearby but I think my presence is keeping it away. I just went invisible to everyone but you," Harry replied after he had cast a spell on himself to make it so that only Phoebe can see and hear him.
Sure enough the snarling wolf appeared to Phoebe thirty seconds later.
"Attacking me wouldn't be a good idea," Phoebe warned the wolf while supremely confident in her safety with Harry present.
The warning was unnecessary because the wolf immediately turned and trotted around the corner. Phoebe and Harry followed the wolf. They followed the animal through a classroom doorway into a cave. A fire was lit in the middle of the transfigured classroom. The wolf had paused to look back at Phoebe. Harry had masked his scent too so he knew the wolf wasn't looking at him. A small explosion of fire engulfed the wolf and the animal turned into a young woman.
"Her name is Elena," Harry advised Phoebe. "And that little trick was an illusion. She wasn't really shape-shifting."
Harry hadn't even had to use surface telepathy to determine Elena's identity. All he had done was to scan Elena's face and cross-reference it with several non-magical databases. Elena had a driver's license.
"Nice trick, Elena," Phoebe said as she walked closer.
"How did you know my name? Gideon and Sigmund didn't tell you," Elena said with no small surprise showing on her features.
"I have my ways. Gideon said you might be able to help me with a decision," Phoebe prompted.
"I'm a Shaman," Elena explained. "I can help you see the future more clearly than you can with the power of premonition alone."
Phoebe began to question Elena about the process involved. Harry provided commentary as Elena explained. A few minutes into this discussion an alarm began going off.
"What is that?" Phoebe asked.
"The Horseman has been spotted again," Elena warned.
Harry sensed a powerful magic near the charms on Piper. Immediately Harry disappeared to Piper's location. He arrived just in time to see the horseman swinging a sword towards Piper's neck from behind. Harry moved while summoning his favorite blade into his hand. Piper turned and found the horseman's blade stopped a mere few inches from her neck with no apparent reason. She gasped and jumped back. Harry then revealed himself looking very focused. Harry parried the horseman's blade aside and then gestured sending a wave of telekinetic force so strong at the horseman that reality buckled. The horseman was blasted back and through a wall actually destroying the wall in the process. Harry advanced on the hole but when he reached the opening the horseman was nowhere to be found. Harry backed up to Piper but didn't take his eyes off the hole.
"Are you ok?" Harry questioned with concern.
"Yes. Thanks to you," Piper admitted.
"That was too close," Paige said. "I know we haven't been parted for long but I have this feeling that one of the students in my class is involved. I was thinking we could take them to the manor to get them out of magic school. If they aren't here then they can't conjure the horseman."
"Paige, you know nothing about the spell to summon the horseman. What makes you assume they couldn't summon it out of magic school?" Harry asked.
Paige had no answer to that.
Finally Paige admitted, "I guess I did just make an assumption."
"Some ritual summoning only require an organized ritual for the initial summoning event. After that the summoner can call what he has summoned with very little effort," Harry explained. "Not all summoning processes are that way but quite a few are."
"Then what do we do?" Paige questioned.
"I liked the idea of getting them out of their normal environment. I can change one of the empty classrooms into a duplication of your house which will fool the students. Give me a bit and then follow this to the doorway to the classroom. Only you two can see it," Harry said as he handed Piper a golden snitch he produced from his pocket.
Then Harry was gone.

The arrival of the students in Harry's recreation was heralded by one of the students, Herman, declaring, "The Halliwell Manor…I don't believe it. It's just like in the texts."
"It looks like my grandma's house," Quentin, another student, replied.
"I bet your grandmother isn't as hot as the occupants of this house," Harry pointed out.
"No sir," Quentin agreed.
"Into the other room, people," Paige directed. Once everyone was present she continued, "One of you is behind the attacks on Magic School. Nobody will be leaving this place until we figure out who it is. So far nobody has gotten killed and this has just been a really stupid prank. Please, let's not let it go any further than that."
"Is Gideon going to shut down the school?" Zachery asked.
"My money is on the conjurer," Quentin accused.
"You're the sleepy hollow buff, Quentin," Herman pointed out.
"But slick is the shape-shifter," Zachery added.
"Screw you, Zachery," Slick replied.
Suddenly the horseman appeared in the living room. The students began to panic. Just as suddenly as the horseman appeared a shimmering golden cage of arcane energy formed around it.
"Gotcha," Piper declared. "Listen up," Piper began as the horseman tried breaking through the golden cage with its sword. The horseman's efforts proved completely futile. "What you may not know is that rituals which allow the summoner to re-summon their targeted entity easily also tie the entity to the summoner in intimate ways. If we destroy the horseman then the summoner's head is going to pop like a balloon. That wouldn't have happened in magic school. The fact that the horseman was summoned with no noticeable effort from any of you just now suggests that the summoner has used an intimately tying ritual."
"So unless the person responsible wants to have their head popped they will come forward right now," Paige added.
"Why are you talking and not acting?" Slick challenged. "I think you won't really kill the summoner."
"We have killed so many beings that practice evil ways during our time practicing magic that what's one more," Piper challenged. "Now if we had instead said we were going to lock you all in here with the horseman and see who he doesn't kill to find the summoner then you could say we were bluffing."
The threat in Piper's tone was clear for all those present to hear. Perhaps Piper and Paige alone couldn't vanquish the horseman but if they went and collected Phoebe then the Charmed Ones together should be able to take out the summoned entity. Of course Piper knew Harry could probably take out the horseman by himself but that wouldn't help the sisters develop their skills in fighting the forces of evil. During the conversation the horseman had stopped trying to break free of its cage. Suddenly it vanished. The summoner had sent the horseman away to wait for the call again. The horseman was summoned again in a different location. The horseman was again momentarily trapped within another golden cage.
"Shit," Harry cursed as he sent a wave of stunning magic washing over the students.
Zachery shimmered like an illusion and then vanished.
"What just happened?" Piper asked.
"Zachery was astro-projecting. But he doesn't have that power. He must have been using his telepathy to tap into one of the other students' powers," Paige explained.
"Yes. And I just knocked out his eyes and ears here in the form of the other students. I realized the next time he summoned the horseman it would probably be with the horseman's blade materializing in one of us," Harry clarified.
"Ouch," Piper said. "Let's go get that little shit."

Magic School Great Hall…
Phoebe had finished her vision quest and rejoined her sisters as the Charmed Ones walked into the Great Hall. There appeared to be no one else present but Harry was under an invisibility cloak. When the horseman materialized the sisters immediately spun to face it. They began chanting and a shield went up around them. The horseman's sword bounced off the shield and straight back into the horseman causing it to vanish.
"You were right. That shield worked fantastically," Piper told her boyfriend as the sisters allowed the shield to dissipate.
"Where is he?" Phoebe asked Harry, referring to Zachery.
"He went after Gideon," Harry answered. "They are in the false-manor I created."
"I'll take us," Paige offered.
The sisters grabbed onto each other and Harry followed them as they teleported. They arrived to find Zachery channeling one of the other students into holding a dagger telekinetically against Gideon's throat.
"You never listened," Zachery finished shouting at Gideon.
"Zachery, we know you didn't really want to kill anybody," Phoebe said. "I can sense it. You know in your heart that this isn't worth dying for. I guarantee that Gideon will take your concerns seriously now. If you want to go home he will let you go home. Nobody has died yet."
Zachery looked to be internally struggling with his decision but Phoebe had known exactly what to say to calm him. The dagger dropped to the ground.

"So what did you see in the vision quest you had anyway?" Harry asked as he sat alone with Phoebe later that night just enjoying some time with the two of them. Other versions of him were spending time with his other girlfriends. "You have been very quiet and thoughtful since then."
"Yeah…I've been thinking about what I saw. Lately I have been feeling like my biological clock is ticking," Phoebe explained. "While there is no immediate need for me to get pregnant…I am thinking seriously about things these days. I don't want to freak you out so I didn't bring it up."
"You are wondering if I am the one," Harry surmised.
"Yes," Phoebe confirmed with a sheepish expression. "I know it's too soon for that."
Harry drew Phoebe's gaze to his so that she could see his eyes using a hand on her chin.
"Listen, I'm not like other men," Harry explained. "I don't get scared away easy. You can discuss anything you want with me. We just need time to get to know one another. I have methods at my disposal which will mean you never have to worry about being unable to have children. You'll always be able to have them no matter how old you get."
Phoebe stared into his eyes and saw truth there. She let out a relieved sigh. Then a thoughtful look came onto her features.
"If I can ask you anything…then what are you? You are so powerful and can travel through time. Are you from far in the future or something?" Phoebe asked.
"I haven't told you so far because we're just getting to know one another," Harry explained. "And I like to be mysterious."
"I've noticed," Phoebe said wryly.
"I'll make you a deal. I'll answer a question each day but in turn you have to answer a question I ask you. That way we can go slowly," Harry suggested.
"Deal," Phoebe said.
"I am from an alternate universe which was much further along in its temporal development than this universe at the point I left it. And I am a wizard," Harry explained. "And I would appreciate you keeping what I tell you to yourself. Your sisters will find out the same way you did."
"Now I have even more questions," Phoebe said after over half a minute of puzzling out her boyfriend's startling revelation. "Though, we have already talked about it a little. That was where the time traveler theory came from. What is your question?"
"What is your favorite type of flower?" Harry asked.
Phoebe gaped at Harry.
"After my question was so weighty that is what you ask me?" Phoebe questioned.
"I'm patient," Harry replied.
"Carnations," Phoebe answered.
The couple continued to chat until their discussion turned physical.

For those of you who ask me questions about specific Path verses I am no longer answering these in individual PMs. Instead when someone asks me about a potential Path verse I will go categorize it in a document on my Facebook group called Planned Path Verses & Other Verses. I'm simply tired of answering questions where nobody but the person who asked them can read them. Lol! I'm trying to save myself time. Multiple people are curious about the same verses.
