"This really needs to be looked at," Paige told Piper as the sisters orbed back into their house after returning from demon-slaying.

"Don't worry about it," Piper said as she walked towards the stairs. "It was only a small thorn."

"You know better than that," Paige corrected. "There is no such thing as a small threat when it comes to demons. It could be poisonous."

"I'll get a potion from Prue," Piper replied but was distracted as Leo orbed in wearing the full ceremonial Elder robes.

"I just wanted to let you know I might not be available for a little while. I'm going to meet with the greater group of Elders. My part as a double agent spying on the Avatars is going to be revealed today," Leo explained.

"Is there any danger to you?" Piper asked her ex-husband.

"I don't believe so. I have some pretty powerful allies that were in the know the whole time about what I was doing," Leo explained.

"Ah," Paige said as she touched her forehead.

"What was that?" Leo asked having sensed something.

"I don't know…it was like a ringing noise," Paige said.

Leo was silent and thoughtful for a moment.

"I think it might be your white-lighter half emerging," Leo suggested.

"I didn't know that was going to happen," Paige replied, her tone a little worried.

"It's nothing to fear. I can start training you after I'm done talking to the other Elders," Leo offered.

"Do I have to be a white-lighter?" Paige questioned.

"In the past I would have said you couldn't deny who you are. But I think maybe your boyfriend would tell you that you could do and be whatever you want. I suggest talking to him," Leo put forth. "I need to go."

"Be safe," Piper told Leo. "And if they give you any trouble tell them we will kick their asses."

In the past Leo might have thought Piper was joking. But given her new boyfriend and all of his allies that may no longer be the case.

OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP

"So what do you think?" Paige asked her boyfriend after finishing telling him what Leo had said about her white-lighter abilities emerging more fully.

"I think Leo has good instincts," Harry suggested.

"So you can suppress these emerging abilities?" Paige asked with a growing smile.

"Yes…but it would also suppress two other aspects of your emerging white-lighter abilities," Harry explained. "It would suppress your healing abilities which are also emerging and it would suppress your white-lighter semi-invulnerability."

"Ok…you're going to have to elaborate on the semi-invulnerability thing," Paige explained.

"By semi-invulnerability I mean that when a white-lighter is injured they generally break down into orbs and then reassemble. There are exceptions like dark-lighter arrows and certain magics. But generally white-lighters are hard to kill. They also don't age. Now I have technologies that will grant you some of those benefits as well. But it would be nice for you to have those abilities on your own," Harry explained.

"I see what you mean," Paige mentioned. "Could you suppress the annoying jingle?"

"Yes…but that won't suppress the urge to help. White-lighter instincts are strong," Harry replied. "What I suggest you do is give being a part time white-lighter a try. You only need one charge to suppress those instincts naturally. One charge won't take up much of your time. I know some monitoring magics which will allow you to keep better track of your charge too," Harry suggested.

"That sounds like a good plan. You are the best," Paige said before turning and drawing Harry into a kiss.

Harry didn't have to respond verbally because Paige gave him a very physical thank you.

"How did it go with the other Elders?" Piper asked after Leo had orbed back in.

"Strange," Leo admitted.

Piper, Paige, and Harry had been sitting in the living room of the manor. Phoebe and her friend Drake entered at that moment. Drake was a demon that had made a deal with a demonic sorcerer to spend a year as a human. At the end of the year Drake would die as a result of the deal. Drake's year was up that day. Drake had befriended Phoebe and she was helping him spend his last day doing fun stuff.

"In what way was it strange?" Paige questioned.

"Well only a few of the Elders were suspicious of me when my part in spying on the Avatars was revealed," Leo explained. "It would seem my hero status from the war with the Titans hasn't waned. If anything I think my spying against the Avatars has raised my credibility."

"Good for you," Phoebe said. "That isn't all. Your emotions are all over the place. What else happened?"

"Odin said he wanted to reward me. He recycled Lillian into a white-lighter," Leo announced.

Piper gasped in surprise.

"I don't get it," Paige said. "Who is Lillian?"

"Leo's first wife from when he was alive as a mortal," Piper answered.

"Wow," Phoebe said. "That must have been a heck of a bombshell."

"Definitely," Leo agreed.

"How did she react to seeing you again?" Piper wanted to know.

"She wasn't present at the meeting. Odin said she wasn't told that I'm an Elder. But she did ask about the possibility of visiting deceased loved-ones in the heavenly realms," Leo explained.

"Well you need to go visit her before she figures out you aren't in those realms," Piper encouraged.

"I suppose I should. But that can wait," Leo said while hoping to put the visit off for a time while he processed the news. "Have you come to a decision, Paige?"

"I have," Paige agreed. "I want to start training."

"Good," Leo replied. "We can get started whenever you are ready."

"Let's go upstairs and you can give me an overview," Paige suggested.

Leo nodded his agreement and the two left.

"How goes your day of fun?" Piper asked Phoebe and Drake.

"It has been a blast," Phoebe answered.

"Our next stop is the Taj Mahal," Drake added. "Were you able to get that demon stinger poison taken care of? Phoebe told me about it. That stuff is lethal."

"Yeah. Prue gave me a potion that fixed me right up," Piper said. "When I was over there Cordelia asked that you stop by for a bit to see her, Drake."

"Huh…I never interacted with her when we were both full demons. I wonder what she wants," Drake said.

"Maybe she knows something that can help you," Phoebe suggested.

"I'm not sure that is possible. But in any case I am fine with my fate. I'll just go see what she wants. I'll be back," Drake announced before he left.

OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP

Cordelia greeted Drake at the front door to Harry's home.

"Of course I didn't even need to ring the doorbell," Drake said. "Piper said you wanted to see me."

"Yes, come into my study and have a seat," Cordy invited.

"The space-expansion charms on this home are impressive," Drake said as he followed the gorgeous seer.

"I imagine they would be to you," Cordy mused.

"Why have you asked me here?" Drake asked curiously as he sat down in Cordy's study.

"You are set to die at midnight," Cordy stated. "I think I can be of help."

"How?" Drake questioned.

"I have mad skills with magic," Cordy said as she gestured at Drake.

Glowing threads of magic appeared around Drake. Cordy's fingers danced through the air while glowing threads of magic materialized from her fingertips and intertwined with the threads coming from Drake. Knots were formed. Gradually one thread formation that had existed previously on Drake began to glow brighter and brighter as Cordy worked. Then the thread Cordy had been working on appeared to burn out and vanish. Prometheus was helping Cordy know exactly what to manipulate. Then Cordy was done. She dropped her hands and the threads of arcane energy vanished.

"Are you finished?" Drake asked.

"Yes," Cordy answered. "It's done. You are free of the demonic sorcerer's spell-clause."

"Will I revert back to being a demon?" Drake queried.

"No. I tied down that portion of the enchanting web. You will stay as you are now. You have some of your demonic abilities but you aren't fully demon any longer," Cordy explained.

"Thank you. That was amazing. But nothing ever comes without a price. What do I have to pay for this?" Drake asked.

"Don't be so cynical. I like you…not in a romantic sense. But I like what you are doing with your existence. My price is that you don't tell anyone what I just did for you," Cordy said.

"Agreed," Drake said. "I take it nobody knows just how capable you are at working magic. You don't have to answer that. What do I tell them about my survival? They knew I was coming here."

"Tell them I put you in contact with someone who could help you but that the person I put you into contact with wants their identity to remain anonymous. Tell them that you can say that this person is rather neutral in the whole good-versus-evil situation going on these days," Cordy said.

"I can do that," Drake agreed. "Thank you very much for what you have done."

"No problem," Cordy replied. "I liked you in The Phantom."

"What?" Drake asked with confusion as he stood from his chair. Cordy just gave him an enigmatic smile. "I see why you and Harry are an item. He likes his mystery as well."

Cordy stood and showed Drake out. After Drake had left she returned to her study where Prometheus was waiting for her.

"I have made sure he will not be able to tell anyone more than what you wanted him to," Prometheus announced. "Why did you help him?"

"My husband has a thing for helping out attractive women in distress. I have a thing for helping out attractive men," Cordy replied with a shrug. "The only difference is I'm not jumping in their pants after I help them."

"You don't sound upset about his approach," Prometheus pointed out.

"Of course not…because he lets us jump into the pants of these attractive women too," Cordy replied with a sultry smile.

Prometheus was amused.

Ohio…

Harry and Cordy walked down a sidewalk in the main street of a free street fair located in a small town in rural Ohio.

"Interesting choice of location for our date," Harry said suggestively as he looked around. "What made you pick this place?"

In truth the town was a place along with its neighboring smaller village where her Ascended husband's channel had grown up.

"I saw it in one of my visions and thought it looked like a fun event to attend," Cordy explained. "Humans seem to love gorging themselves on what they call fair food."

"I think you're right," Harry agreed with amusement as he watched someone eating French fries doused in vinegar and salt. "Do you want to try some of those?"

"Sure," Cordy agreed.

Harry purchased a large container of the fries and liberally doused the food in vinegar. He really didn't need to put much salt because there was already plenty on the fries. He used a little of his arcane energy to make sure the vinegar permeated evenly throughout the fries. He and Cordy started eating.

"Mm…good but so messy," Cordy declared after eating and walking for a while.

"Yeah…I'm totally glad we don't have to worry about our cholesterol," Harry said.

"Magic and high levels of technology certainly has its advantages," Cordy agreed as she and her boyfriend walked up town towards the central park where game booths, rides, more food vendors, an animal tent, and a demonstration stage were located.

The couple stopped and picked up several more food items along the way. They paused as they watched a demonstration underway for a local Martial Arts school.

"They all seem to be proficient," Harry mused.

"You could wipe the floor with them even without your arcane abilities," Cordy pointed out. "That includes the instructors."

"Maybe," Harry said. "But it's always nice to see people bettering themselves."

The couple continued moving throughout the fair having a generally good time. Unlike the other fair patrons Harry and Cordy could continue eating for quite some time without worrying about getting sick. One of the games involved a simulated rock wall that had to be climbed in order to win a prize. Harry decided to give it a try and showed the locals what speed climbing was when he moved up the wall in less than ten seconds. The carnie running the climbing wall looked disgruntled but handed over a prize.

"I'm enjoying watching the people. I see some individuals that are happy to run into old friends and classmates while others who are hoping to ignore or avoid other people. Many of these individuals live in the same town and surrounding areas," Cordy noted.

"I prefer the ones who are happy to run into old acquaintances," Harry mused. "This is nice…to get away from all of the magical situations for a little while and just mingle with the mundane."

"Agreed," Cordy said between bites of her caramel apple.

"You should pick our dating opportunities more often," Harry suggested.

"I would love to," Cordy agreed.

May 22nd 2005

"It's done," Phoebe said. "He took the bait."

Phoebe was standing next to her sisters and boyfriend inside magic school. Zankou had been carrying out a series of attacks on the sisters designed to demoralize them to the point where their mood would affect the protections on the Book of Shadows. Zankou's plan of attack would have succeeded if it wasn't for one variable which the demon hadn't accounted for, Harry.

"Yes…but now we have to see what he plans to do next," Piper said.

Piper like her sisters was immensely grateful for their boyfriend's presence. Harry had forewarned them about Zankou's recent attacks. Piper was quite grateful that she didn't have to face the reanimated zombie horrors representing the past innocents that she and her sisters had failed to save. Harry had created very convincing illusions of the sisters and had gone to destroy the zombies himself. The recent innocents that Zankou had targeted had also been complex illusionary magic.

"That didn't take him long," Paige said a short while later which drew everyone back to the holographic projection of the interior of Halliwell Manor.

Zankou stood in the entryway of Halliwell Manor holding the fake version of the Book of Shadows he had been allowed to steal. Eleven demons appeared just after Zankou.

"He's going after the Nexus," Piper noted as Zankou led the demons into the basement and ordered them to begin digging up the entrance to the Nexus.

It took the demons a short while to dig out the entrance. Magic couldn't be used because the Nexus would view such an act as a threat.

"Remind me again why we allowed the Nexus summoning spell to be real again?" Phoebe questioned as Zankou began to summon the Nexus into himself.

"Because Cordelia said it was important," Piper replied.

"Right," Phoebe said worriedly.

Cordelia had proven to be right about many other things. But that didn't stop the sisters from worrying as their greatest enemy tapped into such a massive source of arcane energy. The sisters began chanting the banishing spell for the Nexus and were satisfied to see the Nexus painfully leaving Zankou.

"Ok…that worked the first time. But what if he figures out a way around it?" Paige questioned.

"I suppose anything is possible but I doubt he will figure a way around the banishing spell via anything in the fake book he has," Harry explained.

"And torturing him with barely obtaining the ultimate power is so satisfying," Piper noted.

"Indeed," Harry agreed.

"And with this monitoring method you are using we can time the banishing just right," Paige added.

"Alright…let's take turns watching him again. Meanwhile the rest of us can take turns researching in these books to see if there is a good safe way to destroy Zankou," Piper suggested.

"I've got first watch," Phoebe said. The sisters and Harry went about their plan. It was only a short while later that Phoebe asked, "Harry, what will the recipe for the power-stripping potion you put in that fake book do?"

"You'll love finding out," Harry said with a feral grin.

OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP

"Hey guys, come out here," Harry, Piper, and Phoebe heard Paige shout from the Great Hall.

The trio arrived in the great hall to find a group of magical beings ranging from fairies to gremlins present.

"Ok…you aren't seriously thinking of pitting them against Zankou and his demons are you? They'll be cannon fodder," Piper pointed out.

"They can hold their own," Paige suggested.

"Some of them against one demon, yes," Phoebe agreed. "But not against Zankou and his demons."

"Besides, if we really need him Harry is our backup. I'm pretty sure he would rather back us up than feed these beings to Zankou as cannon fodder," Piper said with a questioning tone to Harry.

"Yes," Harry confirmed. "Though it would have been a good idea if you didn't have me, love."

Harry kissed Paige on the brow to make her feel better.

"Right…I guess I'm still getting used to relying on you," Paige admitted.

Paige had now been included as one of Harry's girlfriends in the right to slowly ask him questions. She now knew more of just what her boyfriend was capable of and what he was.

"Zankou just finished the power stripping potion or rather what he thinks is a power stripping potion. I have an idea," Harry said.

"Let's hear it," Piper encouraged.

OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP

The sisters were transported into their living room via Paige's orbing ability. Immediately the sisters began attacking the demons. Phoebe was quite deadly with her dagger and stealth abilities. When Zankou finally made it down the stairs five of his originally eleven demons were dead. He sent an energy ball at Piper or what he thought was Piper. The Piper which Zankou had targeted was nothing more than a holographic decoy. Zankou had thrown one of his potion vials at Paige. When the vial broke open and the potion washed onto Paige's feet an effect Zankou had not intended occurred. Zankou let out a scream of pain as part of his power, approximately 15%, was stripped away from him. 5% of that stripped power was burned up in cleansing the arcane energy. The remaining 10% flowed into Paige and enhanced her magical reserves. Zankou was left panting on his knees.

"Try my potion," Piper said as she tossed a potions vial at Zankou.

Zankou was transfigured into a goat with the head of a human.

"Ta ta for now," Paige said to Zankou before orbing with her sisters out of there.

OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP

"That was so fun," Phoebe declared with a laugh as they reappeared in magic school.

"What did that power stripping potion do? I feel so energized," Paige declared.

"It stripped some of Zankou's power and gave it to you. The power has been cleansed of course," Harry explained.

"Awesome," Paige said with a grin.

At that moment Leo orbed in.

"The Elders think it may be time to discuss the possibility of using a spell in the Book of Shadows to destroy the Nexus," Leo informed everyone.

"Do they know that Zankou has a decoy book or that he's getting his ass kicked?" Phoebe questioned.

"The book was a decoy? No. They don't know that. They can't see into much of your house because of the protections Harry put in place," Leo admitted.

"Good," Piper replied. "Let them know we have things in hand. We don't need their advice at this time."

"Piper, that actually sounded diplomatic," Phoebe complimented.

"Just because the Elders are generally bastards doesn't mean we have to sink to their level," Piper replied.

"I'll try not to take insult," Leo said.

"I think you're pretty much the exception most of the time," Paige told her former brother-in-law.

Leo nodded and then orbed out.

OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP

"We need a plan to finish Zankou," Phoebe suggested.

"But what can we do?" Paige questioned.

"We could wait until the Nexus is inside Zankou and if we time it right we could destroy the Nexus while vanquishing Zankou at the same time," Piper suggested.

"Harry's far-viewing technique could let us get the timing right," Paige added.

"I like this plan," Phoebe agreed.

"But what about the enchantments in your house? They are enhanced by the Nexus," Harry pointed out.

"We don't really have a good alternative," Piper replied. "If you have one we are all ears."

"I have been studying the Nexus a little bit for some time now," Harry said. "The Nexus can regenerate itself as long as 32% of its energy remains. I believe you can cast a spell to make sure Zankou can call only 68% of the Nexus power to him. That way you can destroy him without the remainder of the Nexus within him."

"Can you help us with that spell?" Phoebe requested.

"I would be happy to," Harry assured.

"If we're going to do this I think maybe we should use this to our advantage for a little vacation," Phoebe suggested.

"What do you have in mind?" Piper inquired.

Phoebe told everyone her idea. Partway through the detailed planning Harry looked off in the distance.

"What is it?" Paige asked.

"Inspector Sheridan has just entered the manor," Harry announced.

"She'll be killed," Phoebe pointed out in alarm.

"I'll get her," Harry assured.

Harry disappeared and reappeared in the manor attic just in time to intercept an energy ball Zankou had sent at Sheridan. Harry grabbed Sheridan and got her out of there. The high level of arcane energy saw the video surveillance wire Sheridan was wearing short out.

"Nooo," Sheridan finished shouting in terror as she found herself in her apartment. Jenya Sheridan looked around in confusion for a moment before spotting Harry standing slightly behind her. "What is going on?"

"You might have just gathered from you nearly getting killed that inserting yourself into the affairs of witches is dangerous. A demon almost killed you. I saved your life," Harry replied.

"Thank you," Sheridan said as she sat heavily on her couch. "I wasn't actually certain Agent Keyes was sane when he started talking about the supernatural. Now I know."

"Agent Keyes I am assuming is involved with the Homeland Security personnel swarming around the Halliwell Manor house right now?" Harry said.

"Yes," Sheridan confirmed.

"There are magical organizations whose mandate is to keep magic from being exposed to the world at large. Small groups can be told but if you try to expose magic to the greater world you will be wiped from existence by these organizations," Harry explained.

"I see," Sheridan said. "So the Halliwell sisters…are they fighting these demons? Morris said they were above reproach."

"Yes. You just faced off against a particularly powerful demon they are currently battling. I suggest you think long and hard about your career. You might try being more helpful to Darryl Morris in the future if you stick around," Harry suggested.

With his task complete Harry disappeared.

OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP

"It's now or never," Phoebe whispered as she stood side-by-side with her sisters across from their boyfriend.

Before the sisters was a holographic projection of the basement of their manor house. Zankou was in the basement standing before the Nexus. Surrounding Zankou were the few demons remaining to him.

"Holo-decoys," Paige called while gesturing towards three tiny orbs floating nearby.

The holo-decoy projectors were transported to the attic of the manor house. A second hologram showed a feed from the attic and a third showed the scene outside the manor. The manor was being surrounded by personnel from homeland security. The holo-decoys projected illusions of the sisters which were visible through the attic window. The decoys looked right down at the agents arrayed below and it was quite clear several agents spotted the decoys.

"Get ready…Zankou is drawing in the Nexus now," Piper warned.

The sisters had already cast the spell which restricted the amount of Nexus energy that Zankou could take in. The spell also altered properties of the energy that passed into Zankou akin to altering the frequency of the arcane energy. Harry was taking sensor readings to determine exactly when the sisters would need to start chanting factoring in how much Nexus energy Zankou had taken in and their combined chanting rate. The moment the hologram turned green the sisters began chanting.

"Rol-ek semov – pre-sus – parake tu tek – cra'suk – veresh'su veresh'bu," The sisters chanted.

Harry had begun coaching the sisters in the language best suited for casting spells. Using this language made the spells more energy efficient. The language wasn't as important as the magic user's intent and focus. But when the spell was a powerful one any gain in efficiency was a big help. The moment the sisters finished their chant Zankou began turning black. Zankou started writhing and screaming. Zankou's demons didn't know what was going on. But it didn't matter. Seconds after the screaming started Zankou exploded. The magical backwash took out the remaining demons. The blast was so loud that the Homeland Security personnel thought a bomb had gone off.

"Holo-decoys," Paige called to summon the holo-projectors back.

"Did it work?" Phoebe questioned.

"Give it a few minutes and we will know," Harry assured.

A few minutes later Chris orbed into the room.

"It worked," Chris announced. "I heard the agent in charge say he was sure you were in the house and that you must have been killed."

"Good," Piper said.

"Well it looks like we will be staying with you for at least a few days or possibly a few weeks until things can get straightened out with the investigation and ownership of the manor," Phoebe said to Harry.

"I would like nothing more," Harry assured his three girlfriends.

It was definitely going to be an interesting and hopefully relaxing time period for the sisters. If everyone thought they were dead then the sisters would be free to live a demon-free life.

September 25th 2005

"It creeps me out a bit seeing how many leprechauns are at my urn," Phoebe said as she stood next to Victor, Harry, and Piper.

The sisters were all wearing magical illusions portraying them as other people. They were at their own wake.

"The leprechauns always kind of had the hots for you," Piper pointed out.

"I can't blame them," Harry told his girlfriends.

"It's still rather creepy," Phoebe replied.

"This is so strange," Victor muttered.

"Look a little more bereaved like Harry, Victor," Piper whispered. "Agent Keyes is watching."

Indeed the Homeland Security agent was standing near the doorway leading into the entrance hall inspecting guests.

"All I'm saying is it would be easier to swallow if you didn't keep changing your looks all the time. Please just pick one and stick with it," Victor requested.

"We'll think about it," Phoebe promised. "I'm actually glad Paige isn't here to see how few people are at her urn."

Just then a television star named Janice Dickenson made her way into the house. Harry could see through the illusion and tell that "Janice" was really Paige.

"What is Janice Dickenson doing here?" Piper questioned.

"She may look like Janice but I would recognize the feeling of my sister's emotions anywhere. That's Paige," Phoebe whispered.

"Janice" went over to Paige's urn and began dramatically mourning Paige's loss.

"Oh no she didn't," Piper whispered before she and her sister went over and drug "Janice" into the kitchen.

Harry cast a mild Notice-Me-Not charm on the sisters and then followed them into the kitchen.

"Alright sister, the jig's up," Phoebe said as she dropped her illusion.

Piper dropped her illusion. Reluctantly Paige did the same thing.

"Somebody had to cry at my funeral," Paige pointed out.

"I assure you if it had actually been your funeral I would have cried," Harry told his girlfriend as he wrapped an arm around her comfortingly.

"Thank you Harry. But I obviously spent too much time in the magical world if nobody even cares that I'm dead," Paige declared. "Oww," Paige said as she clutched at her forehead.

"What's wrong?" Harry questioned.

"A jingling in my head," Paige admitted.

"Well it isn't the Elders. We are cloaked from them. So what is it?" Piper queried.

"During my training with him Leo told me that a connection between white-lighter and charge is automatic. It could be a new charge," Paige admitted.

"Just ignore it," Piper suggested. "We don't do charges or demons or any of that anymore."

"Easier said than done," Paige replied. "I wanted the white-lighter abilities so the charges come with it."

"That can wait until later. The wake is winding down. Let's just get through this without revealing ourselves," Phoebe said as she reapplied her illusion.

"Agreed," Piper replied as she did the same.

The sisters re-entered the wake and mingled as it wound down. It was intriguing to them to hear what everyone said about them. At one point Phoebe happened to be standing near her father when Victor was talking to a blonde haired man who had worked in the same building as her named Dex Lawson.

"I always found it amazing that someone as beautiful as her could be so insightful," Dex told Victor.

Phoebe moved to join the conversation but Piper's hand on Phoebe's arm stilled the younger sister.

"Even if you are only curious about what he thought of you that complication isn't something you want right now," Piper advised in a whisper. "Besides, even if it is curiosity you already have a wonderful man."

Both women looked over to where Harry was kneeling playing with Wyatt and Daniel. The boys looked enraptured as Harry openly wove magic through the air and caused their stuffed animals to move and play. The sisters knew Harry could openly perform magic and keep the mortals from noticing him if he desired.

Piper and Phoebe approached the kids.

"He looks so adorable in his little suit," Phoebe declared while looking at Wyatt.

Wyatt looked uneasy.

"What's wrong?" Piper asked her son.

"He doesn't know it's you," Victor pointed out. "Neither does Daniel."

Chris walked into the house next to Bianca.

"The last of the guests are gone," Chris announced.

Bianca and Chris had made sure everyone had left. The sisters dropped their illusions.

"What's wrong?" Bianca asked.

Paige explained what the boys were struggling with.

"I believe there is a spell in the Book of Shadows which will only allow family to see your true selves. To everyone else you will appear with the identity you have now," Chris suggested.

He orbed out and retrieved the book before flipping to the correct page. Chris handed the book to Phoebe.

"This looks pretty simple to cast," Phoebe said. "Picture your new look in your mind, ladies," She told her sisters.

"Got it," Piper said while Paige nodded.

"I call upon the ancient powers to mask us now and in future hours. Hide us well and thoroughly but not from those we call family," Phoebe chanted.

"It doesn't look like anything happened," Victor said.

"Check a mirror," Harry suggested as he summoned a mirror from down the hall and held it up before the sisters.

The sisters definitely looked different.

"I think I like this spell," Piper announced as she admired her new look. "What next?"

"Now we need to finalize the spell by putting in some details for our new identity," Phoebe explained after reading from the book again. "I'll go start brewing the potion."

OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP

Phoebe dropped the information she and her sisters had written on paper into a cauldron and then added the final ingredient. A puff of smoke was released as the magic went to work.

"So how do we know it worked?" Paige questioned.

"I can hack into the government databases and check your identities are complete," Harry offered.

"Or we could go shopping," Phoebe suggested excitedly. "We are free," She said. "We have no more demons and no more cops. We can do whatever we want."

"I think I'm going to stay here and relax a little," Paige suggested.

"Relaxing is good," Phoebe said. "You are with me, Piper. A new pair of shoes is on me."

Phoebe grabbed Harry's other hand and he was dragged along by his exuberant girlfriend. He didn't mind. He liked seeing her happy.

"You were right, Harry," Paige said as she laid on her stomach on a beach in the tropics with Harry massaging her back with suntan lotion. "And have I mentioned you are the best boyfriend ever lately?"

"Yes…but it's always nice to hear," Harry said.

"I so needed this," Paige said. "I feel so stupid for resisting being with you for so long."

She turned her head and beckoned him to lean down before pulling his lips into a kiss. Paige clutched at her head again.

"Ok…I think you should really go check out this charge now if the ringing is bothering you that much," Harry urged.

"Maybe you are right," Paige agreed. "I'm all oily though. Can you cast a cleaning charm on me?"

Harry did so and also transfigured her bikini into her normal clothes. Harry went invisible. Paige knew he would follow her. She orbed to where she could sense her charge was nearby. Paige appeared in a theater showing an old horror flick. The theater wasn't very crowded at all.

Paige sensed something magical about a white man wearing a trench coat. But her senses weren't that finely attuned to be able to tell anything other than his magical nature. The man was a demon named Elkin.

"You can't stop me white-lighter," Elkin declared before he surged forward in a blur towards Paige.

Paige stepped back and only caught the smallest portion of the blow. It hurt but Paige was still on her feet. Paige went invisible using a runically enchanted gift from Harry. As the demon turned to look for Paige, a door at the back of the theater opened to reveal a young woman wearing a black wig and black leather. The young woman's name was Billie Jenkins.

"Doesn't that burn your hand?" Billie asked the demon that had summoned a fireball. Billie flipped out of the way of the demon's fireball using minor self-levitation. "You're proving to be such a disappointment."

The demon responded with another fireball which Billie managed to turn back on him mid-air. The demon dodged and decided it was time to get out of there. The demon knew an invisible white-lighter was still around. Billie took off out the door. One of the patrons of the theater had been hit with shrapnel from the redirected fireball hitting one of the wooden chairs. The other patrons had started to flee from the smoke due to the fireball.

"Focus on your healing abilities like you've been learning," Harry sent to Paige.

"I will. Please just handle his memory," Paige requested.

Harry hit the victim with a confundus charm while Paige healed the shrapnel wound. By the time the medics arrived the victim was healed and the magical couple was gone.

Harry was talking to Victor while magically washing the dishes from the wake when he sensed an Elder orb in.

"Hi Leo," Harry greeted.

"Leo," Victor added.

"Victor, Harry," Leo replied. "I'm sorry about the sisters."

"Is this off the record, Leo? Or are you here in an official capacity as an Elder?" Harry asked.

"A little bit of both. I'm here to deal with Wyatt. I know I have no right to Daniel. But the other Elders are concerned about Wyatt being raised by Victor," Leo explained. "But I can talk off the record if you'd like."

"Let's do that," Harry said.

"Are you so sure that is wise, Harry?" Victor asked.

"Leo has earned our trust," Harry assured. To Leo, Harry explained, "The sisters faked their deaths. They want a vacation from fighting demons. They might even like to make it permanent if they can pull it off."

Leo was quite surprised by this but after a few moments said, "I was secretly hoping something like that occurred. I assume you are helping them keep everything from the Elders?"

"Yes," Harry confirmed.

"Then there is nothing wrong with Wyatt remaining here. I'll tell the other Elders that the boys are in capable hands but that you are helping raise Wyatt with his brother," Leo said. "If you don't mind I'm going to go take the opportunity to visit with my son."

"By all means," Victor said while Harry nodded agreement. After Leo left the room Victor noted, "You two seem on really good terms."

"We both want what is best for our sons and both know that one another are good men. Besides that…Leo's first wife was made a whitelighter when she recently passed away. I believe they might get together in the future," Harry explained.

"This magical life is so crazy sometimes," Victor said.

Harry was up in the attic listening as the sisters discussed Paige's encounter with the demon that day.

"There's a threat coming from downstairs," Harry spoke up to warn the sisters.

"Dad and the boys are down there," Piper said in alarm before rushing out.

Harry just teleported himself downstairs appearing invisibly in front of Victor. Victor was standing before three demons led by a black male demon named Mykel.

"Hello Victor," Mykel said. "Are you sure you don't want to sell?"

Just then Billie came bursting into the manor.

"Who are you?" Elkin demanded of Billie.

Fireballs and energy balls started flying. Harry shielded Victor. The boys were luckily upstairs having teleported up there at Victor's command. Billie went to town against the demons. Billie managed to get Elkin with a silver knife but Mykel escaped. The third demon had already been vanquished. Harry was impressed with Billie's abilities though she definitely had room for improvement. Billie took off out of the house at a run. The sisters had been observing from the stairs not wanting to get involved and reveal their powers.

Harry appeared so everyone could see him.

"She has some skills but definitely has room for improvement," Piper noted.

"Her name is Billie Jenkins," Harry informed the others.

"Should we approach her now do you think?" Phoebe asked.

"I want to keep watching her for a bit. I want to observe her without her knowing we are observing her," Paige suggested.

"That sounds like a good plan but we need to send a message to the underworld that the boys aren't to be messed with," Piper said. "It's obvious they were after the boys."

"And the house," Victor added. "That black demon was at your wake and presented himself as a real estate agent trying to buy the manor."

"Any ideas?" Phoebe asked.

"I have one," Harry said before going into his plan.

Victor's Apartment…

"Hello Victor," Mykel greeted after he had appeared behind Victor with two other demons.

Victor turned to greet the demons while holding Wyatt's hand.

"You know…it's amazing to me that you keep getting demons to come die with you," Victor said calmly.

Victor's calmness unnerved Mykel. The demon prepared to shimmer out at the first hint of danger.

"The only one that will be dying today is you, Victor," Mykel promised. "I knew you would have to come home sometime."

"You are a stupid little demon," Harry said as he allowed himself to become visible standing next to Wyatt. Mykel tried shimmering out but was unable. "Don't leave yet," Harry said as he gestured at Mykel's companions and caused them to explode with a casual wave of a hand.

"This was a trap," Mykel said with realization.

"Yes and no," Harry said. "This was a warning. Don't come near us again or I will destroy you all. Halliwell Manor is under my protection as are Victor, Wyatt, and Daniel. Now go tell the others in the underworld." Mykel felt whatever was blocking shimmering vanish. Just as Mykel was about to shimmer, Harry said, "Oh and Mykel…you don't need both arms to deliver a message."

Harry gestured again and took off Mykel's arm with a cutting curse. Mykel shimmered away with a cry of anguish. The arm burned up as if it had been vanquished.

"Effective," Victor said in a complimentary tone.

"Indeed," Piper agreed as she and her sisters appeared from under invisibility enchantments.
