"Ok…spill," Harry said to Piper. "I can tell when the woman I love is worried."

"You do look worried," Paige told her sister after Paige stood up from where she had been applying her makeup at her vanity.

Piper had said she wanted to spend time with Paige and Harry together after returning from their morning shopping trip. Phoebe was out at the moment helping Billie.

"I may have seen the Angel of Death when we were out shopping," Piper admitted.

"Where was I?" Harry questioned.

"You had stepped into the bathroom briefly," Piper explained.

"That isn't good Piper. The only people who generally see the Angel of Death are those he is about to take," Paige pointed out.

"You said generally. Others can see him," Piper replied. "But he was staring right at me."

"I'll be sticking close to you I think," Harry told Piper. "And you too Paige."

"Do you really think you can stop Death?" Paige questioned.

"The better question is does he think he can take me," Harry told Paige with a confident smile and a wink.

Inside Harry felt a little less certain. But he wasn't about to let Death claim his lovers.

The False Magic School

"I think maybe your clues were a little too cryptic," Phoebe told Billie from beneath an invisibility spell as the younger woman paced back and forth.

"I don't think so," Billie said. "I have to have faith that he will show."

As if summoned, a demon appeared via flame teleportation. The demon was named Reinhardt and sported a shaved head with a tattoo in the shape of a battle trident pointed down at his nose upon his forehead.

"Are you the one that has been asking about me?" Reinhardt questioned as he approached Billie.

"That depends…are you the demon who took a little girl named Christy fifteen years ago?" Billie replied.

"Nobody is supposed to know about that," Reinhardt said.

"The demon that hired you knows," Billie suggested.

"Yes. But how do you know? And what is it to you?" Reinhardt demanded.

Reinhardt's tone was growing more hostile by the second. As he made to reach up and grab Billie's throat an arrow was shot into Reinhardt's back from a second demon that had just appeared. The second demon was called Burke. Reinhardt dropped stunned from the crossbow bolt.

"Nice try witch," Burke told Billie before surging forward and shimmering away with the unconscious Reinhardt.

"No," Billie shouted. "Bring him back!"

"You'll get another lead," Harry assured Billie.

"It took me a long time to get that lead," Billie said with frustration in her tone.

"Trust me…you will find your sister," Harry assured.

"I'll hold you to that," Billie said, feeling confident since Harry was confident.

The Manor Attic

"Alright Mister…show your reaping ass. I know you are lurking about. If you want something show yourself," Piper said to the attic around her.

Piper felt confident in doing this with Harry standing invisibly next to her. Piper could see and feel her boyfriend's presence but thought that Death might not be able to.

"There is no need to be rude," Simon said after he appeared behind Piper. "I am here to do you a favor after all."

"And what would that be?" Piper queried.

"I am giving you the opportunity to say goodbye. I am taking Harry very soon," Simon explained.

"Why now?" Piper asked while trying to keep herself calm.

"I don't know the why. I know the when," Simon explained.

"Who sends you after someone?" Piper demanded.

"I cannot disclose that. Take the time to prepare," Simon advised.

"Treat him cordially so that he leaves. Then we can talk about this," Harry sent to Piper.

"Thank you for the warning, Simon," Piper said. "I appreciate your effort." Simon nodded and then left. Harry became visible as soon as the angel was gone. Piper ran forward and hugged him tightly. "He can't have you."

"I don't think he can take me," Harry replied.

"You don't sound 100% confident in that," Piper noted as she drew back so she could look at Harry's face.

"Nothing in existence is 100% a guarantee," Harry said. "But I am reasonably confident."

"And I am even more confident," Cordy said to her replicat companion Prometheus.

Cordy was currently engaging in one of her favorite pastimes since coming to this universe, Harry watching. She had especially paid attention watching one of the Avatars of Death.

"I think we need to let my sisters know what is going on," Piper said.

The Living Room

"I don't like this at all," Paige declared after hearing the news.

"We just need to remain calm," Phoebe asserted. "And we need to have faith in Harry."

"Easier said than done," Piper said from where she sat upon his lap at one end of the couch.

Being in Harry's arms always reassured Piper and made her feel calmer.

"I don't know that this is exactly the right time to tell you all this," Harry said while steeling his nerves. "But I think this will show you how malleable death is in relation to me. It is time for you to know the true identities of my other girlfriends Prue and Patty."

"What do you mean true identities?" Piper began to ask before the knowledge was available to her.

Almost as if they had practiced it the three sisters whipped their heads around towards Harry's house as the knowledge of who Prue and Patty were became available to the Charmed Ones.

"Mom," Phoebe whispered in wonder.

Harry teleported Prue and Patty into the living room.

"They know," Harry told Prue and Patty.

There was a rush by Phoebe, Paige, and Piper to hug Prue and Patty.

"I'm glad you finally know," Patty told her daughters as she hugged them with a smile.

"Yeah…trying to convince this big lug over here that you wouldn't hate him for bringing us back to life was a real chore," Prue said fondly while gesturing at Harry.

"Hate him," Paige said in confusion. "Why would we ever hate him for bringing you back?" Paige asked while looking between Patty, Prue, and Harry.

"Because he was worried you would be weirded out that your boyfriend was shared with your mother," Patty explained.

Harry winced as Patty and Prue pointed out his biggest worry.

Phoebe, Piper, and Paige took a moment to digest this realization.

"Our lives are so strange," Phoebe began. "We have learned to roll with the punches. We are already sharing so much."

"What's a little more," Piper finished her sister's thought. "Besides…we don't notice a difference given his ability to be with us all simultaneously."

"There see," Prue said to Harry. "I told you they would be fine with it."

"So how are you alive?" Paige asked her mother and eldest sister.

As Patty opened her mouth to respond Billie came running down the stairs announcing, "I found the demon in the Book of Shadows." Billie was referring to the demon Burke. Billie stopped when she saw the group assembled. "Umm…what is going on?"

"Billie, you've met Patty and Prue. Well it turns out Harry brought them back from the dead and was employing some type of spell to keep their true identities from us. We were just about to get an explanation about how this was done. This could be a good learning opportunity for you. Take a seat," Paige directed while pointing to the bottom of the stairs.

"Oh," Billie said as she took a seat where directed.

Prue, Patty, and Harry took turns telling the tale of how Harry brought the two women back to the realm of the living. After the story had finished but before anyone could speak Simon appeared.

"I trust you have said your goodbyes," Simon said. Then he paused as his gaze focused on Prue and Patty. "You two shouldn't be here. How are you here?"

The Angel of Death appeared stunned at the presence of the two women.

"There is much even you don't know, Simon," Piper responded.

"I need to investigate this," Simon muttered more to himself than to everyone else present in the house before he vanished.

"Ok…that was weird," Phoebe said, stating what everyone else was thinking. "Do you think that got him off our backs?"

"I think he'll be back," Patty told her daughter. "As to whether or not he can do anything is another matter. I think it's time we had a mother-daughter chat," She told her four daughters.

"I'll help you with that demon issue," Harry told Billie.

Billie stood and nodded before heading back up the stairs with Harry following her. Harry gave the sisters and their mother some privacy.

Burke's Lair

Harry stood invisibly beside Billie as she examined cages holding frozen demons.

"Tre weird," Billie whispered. She rubbed the frost off of one of the prisons and uncovered the frozen face of Reinhardt. "Crap," Billie said as she stepped back in fright, straight against Harry.

Harry's presence gave Billie courage.

"Usually I charge admission," Burke declared.

Billie spun to face Burke and said, "That demon was mine."

"Was being the operative word," Burke replied. "I'm afraid the one who hired me isn't ready for you to discover the truth. Poor little witch constantly searching for her sister."

Burke made to speed behind Billie but encountered the unmovable form of Harry. Harry's personal shield blasted Burke back against the cave wall.

"You will tell me what I want to know," Billie said in her most threatening tone while drawing her dagger from its holster.

Harry had asked to see Billie's dagger a few days previously. She had watched in fascination as he had worked some very advanced and wickedly cool magic on the dagger. When he had returned the dagger Harry had told Billie that it was now much deadlier than it had first been.

"That is where you are wrong. You have no idea who you are dealing with," Burke declared before he directed his hands towards himself.

It only took a second before Burke's hands glowed a fiery orange and the demon vanquished himself. Billie stumbled back in shock.

"Why would he do that?" Billie asked.

"He must have feared his employers very much," Harry said while he became visible.

She turned to look at Reinhardt desperately.

"Do you think you could manage to unfreeze him so I can ask him about Christy?" Billie asked.

"I'm not sure," Harry admitted. "But I can look."

Harry walked over to the demon-sicle that contained the demon Reinhardt. His fingers danced and threads of multicolored magic danced out from his finger-tips to flow into the frozen demon. Harry's features took on a look of concentration as he mentally analyzed the results.

"What is it?" Billie asked after several minutes of magical work on Harry's part.

"This isn't merely ice," Harry explained. "It's other-dimensional energy twisted into a form to give it the appearance of ice."

"I'm not going to pretend that I really understand what that means or the complexity that it implies. Is it within your power to get him out?" Billie asked.

"It is. But the spell to 'thaw' him will take some time to work," Harry said. "There is another problem…the spell will vanquish him slowly. You'll have about an hour to question him but he is going to be in growing pain throughout."

"I don't need long," Billie said.

Harry nodded and cast the spell. Water droplets slowly started to drip off of the ice.

"It will take an hour or two to thaw him," Harry said as he conjured up two chairs. The two sat down. "So tell me more about yourself Billie. What are some things you like to do for fun?"

The pair had an interesting conversation and grew to know one another a little better. Billie had actually been into Martial Arts for quite a few years.

Back at the Manor

Simon reappeared with a black woman that simply radiated magical power.

"I see what you mean," Denise told Simon while gazing curiously at Prue and Patty. Denise was the name of this particular Angel of Destiny. "You can go," She told Simon. Simon vanished. Denise turned to Harry and asked, "Is this your doing?"

"It might be," Harry replied.

Denise threw up her hands in frustration and said to Harry in an accusing tone, "You are an agent of chaos. You alter the grand design on a whim and don't adhere to the laws of this universe."

"Nobody explained those laws to me or the reasons for them," Harry pointed out.

"It isn't our place to question the will of the Creator. I just get my orders like everyone else," Denise replied.

Denise was just one Angel of Destiny serving in the local office for this universe in an infinite multi-verse spanning organization.

"You may be satisfied with that. But I'm not," Harry said.

"And that is why you must die. With you here the Charmed Ones won't be motivated to get the job done," Denise explained.

"And just what job is this we are supposed to do?" Piper interjected. "There has to be a way for us to get done what is needed without Harry's life ending."

Cordelia walked into the room in that moment and declared, "There is Piper. There is always a way." Cordelia looked right at Denise and revealed true divine power to the Angel of Destiny alone. "Don't reveal who I am," Cordelia sent telepathically into Denise's mind.

Denise's eyes widened momentarily and had to resist the urge to bow.

"The former seer is correct. There is one more battle on the horizon unlike anything you have ever encountered before. I do not believe you will see it coming and you may not survive it," Denise explained. "The pain of Harry's loss will motivate you to win."

"They will be sufficiently motivated by Harry's presence here. He has already changed the grand design beyond the original parameters for this universe," Cordelia said.

"I…I can't see the future clearly with the alterations made," Denise admitted.

"But I can," Cordelia assured as she went over and touched Denise's hand.

To observers it looked as if Cordelia was passing a vision to the Angel of Destiny.

After a moment Denise said, "I see now. Very well. You may live," She told Harry.

"How gracious of you," Harry said wryly.

Denise eyed Patty and Prue.

"Do not interfere," Cordelia sent warningly.

Denise didn't know the proper protocols for deities and their wives interfering in other universes but she knew how much power she personally possessed. Denise knew she couldn't hope to challenge the power of Cordelia's first husband.

"As you wish my lady," Denise sent before disappearing.

"That went better than I thought it would," Phoebe noted.

"Thank you Cordelia for convincing her," Paige said.

Patty and Harry both inwardly thought that Cordelia had been a little too successful but they suppressed their suspicions as not important for the time being.

Back at the Lair

During their conversation Harry and Billie didn't notice as a green mist coalesced in one corner of the cavern. Harry noticed too late as the mist condensed around the cage holding Reinhardt.

"What's happening?" Billie shouted as the roar of the arcane energy condensing filled the cavern.

"I…I'm not sure," Harry said before his eyes widened as he realized what was going on. He reached out with his power for the cage but it was too late. "No," Harry shouted as Reinhardt's vanquish was sped up.

"No," Billie cried out.

"Something just accelerated the vanquish by destabilizing my spell," Harry said with a troubled tone.

"Do you know what did it…who did it?" Billie asked.

"No…but whoever or whatever it was is damn powerful. If I encounter their energy signature again I'll know," Harry said with assurance. "Maybe…maybe it is something encountered by the sisters before or their mother. I can try going through their memories of events and looking for trace energy signatures in the memories. That will take weeks but I can try. It might give us a name."

"Thank you," Billie said as she threw her arms around Harry's neck and drew him into a hug. The hug lingered for a moment before Billie drew back hesitantly. Harry leaned down and captured her lips in a kiss. The kiss went on and on. When the kiss broke Billie was panting for breathe and rested her forehead against Harry's forehead. "Wow," Billie said. "That was some kiss. I'd definitely like to do that again." She took his hand. "I would also like to go out on a date with you."

"I would like that too," Harry agreed. "Let's head back to my study and talk about it."

Billie nodded and they left Burke's lair.

January 8th 2006

Harry sat in the attic and listened to Billie's latest theory on her sister. A lot had happened in the past month. The most notable change was that Harry and Billie had started dating. She was very much into him. He could tell she was falling fast and he was not averse to the idea.

"So I think maybe Christy has powers and the demons took her for some nefarious hidden plan," Billie pitched. "What do you think?"

"I think you've been spending a lot of time with Harry," Phoebe noted. "Your vocabulary has improved. But as far as a demonic conspiracy goes…it's a possibility. But you can think about that tomorrow. Stop stalling about picking up your parents."

"She's right, honey," Harry told Billie. "I'll go with you to pick them up."

"I'm not stalling," Billie protested.

"Listen…I know you aren't exactly eager to see them but I think you'll be surprised how things can change," Harry asserted as he approached Billie and laid his hands on her arms.

"How can you know that? You haven't met them yet," Billie pointed out. "Damn his gaze…I always cave under that gaze," She thought to herself.

"I have a feeling," Harry replied. "Besides…I know you. They can't be all that bad if they managed to raise you."

"Alright…but I think my theory still works. We discussed those other kids that were kidnapped around the same time as my sister. Well I have an appointment with one of them that is this corporate big-shot. I enchanted this piece of paper to tell me if he is magical," Billie explained.

"That sounds like a good plan," Harry said as he took her hand and began to lead her out of the attic.

"I still think they are going to suck the life out of this place," Billie said.

Suddenly a bouquet of flowers in a nearby vase wilted as if they had died. Everyone froze.

"Well that can't be coincidence," Phoebe noted.

"I think someone has a new ability," Harry suggested while looking at his newest girlfriend. "We'll explore this later. For now try to avoid saying things that involve the sucking of life."

"Definitely," Billie agreed.

"Billie, I felt terrible about what happened to your sister," Rod Dalvos told Billie. Rod was one of the other children that had been kidnapped around the same time as Billie's sister. "But I still don't understand how you think that I can help you?"

"I am just trying to find a connection Mr. Dalvos…anything that could help me possibly find her. Since you were kidnapped around the same time I thought your cases might be related," Billie explained.

"I will do anything I can to help," Dalvos said.

"Could you tell me if you have met or heard of any of these kidnap victims?" Billie asked as she stood and handed Dalvos the enchanted piece of paper.

Dalvos took the paper and it glowed in just the right spots for Billie to see. Just then a man stormed into the office.

"Just so we are clear…you are not taking this company public. You got that?" Grant Dedapolis said.

"Grant…I'm in a meeting," Dalvos replied.

"You can lobby behind my back all you want but it is never going to happen," Grant said, ignoring Billie's presence for the moment. Harry was invisible to everyone but Billie. "See, my father made me chairman, cousin…not you. Which means we stay private just like he wanted us to."

"We should talk about this later," Dalvos said.

"There is nothing to talk about. If you try a power play tomorrow I will crush you," Grant promised before turning and leaving.

"Please excuse my cousin. He has been under a great deal of pressure since his father died," Dalvos said.

"No excuse needed," Billie said.

Billie looked like she was about ready to leave but Harry cautioned telepathically, "Give him time to look at the list."

Dalvos glanced over the list briefly.

"I'm afraid I was never aware of any of these other cases. It was felt best that I should be sheltered from further involvement. I only learned about the other kidnapping cases years later and then only what was heard in the news. I don't remember anything about what happened while I was kidnapped. I was very young," Dalvos explained.

"Thank you for your time Mr. Dalvos," Billie said. Dalvos nodded and Billie left. Once she reached Harry's vehicle and climbed back in he became visible. She asked, "So what did you think?"

"That office had a definite demonic presence in it," Harry confirmed. "I just don't know if it has anything to do with Christy's disappearance yet."

"We'll find out," Billie said. "Now I suppose we had better go get my parents."

OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP – Charmed – OP

Billie climbed out of the car once she reached her parents and Harry followed suit.

"Hi guys. This is my boyfriend Harry," Billie introduced while going up to her mother and initiating a hug.

"It's a pleasure to meet you," Harry said as he held out his hand and shook the hands of Carl and Helen Jenkins.

"Likewise," Carl said.

"A pleasure," Helen added as she shook Harry's hand.

"Let's get your luggage loaded up," Harry said as he picked up their bags and loaded them into the back of his SUV.

"Let's get this tour on the road then," Billie said as she and her parents climbed inside Harry's vehicle.

"Let's," Helen replied.

It was official…Billie was in love with Harry. Granted she hadn't been dating him for all that long…but the way he handled her parents was nothing short of a miracle. Normally Billie's father acted like a robot and her mother just took it all. But Harry had managed to draw Carl into conversation and actually got the man to speak intelligently. Her parents had wanted to skip the tour when they actually arrived at the campus but thanks to Harry they actually got to see where she went to school. By the time they pulled up to the Halliwell household she realized she had actually enjoyed herself that day.

Dinner

"Is this your first time in San Francisco?" Prue asked the Jenkins.

"Yes. We have been meaning to come out here before but just have never gotten around to it," Helen admitted.

In truth their relationship with Billie had been strained to the point that Billie hadn't wanted them to come out.

"How do you like the city so far?" Piper questioned.

"It's…different," Carl admitted. "Well if you will excuse us we need to be going. It has been a long trip. Thank you for inviting us for dinner."

"I need to ask you guys about Christy right now," Billie said as she stood along with her parents.

Harry internally winced at how abrupt Billie was being.

"That is not something we talk about in front of strangers Billie," Carl replied.

"Dad, you never want to talk about her. These people are my friends, and more," Billie said while glancing at Harry. "I remember a month after Christy was taken you returned to your lives like nothing ever happened."

"You were five. You didn't know what was going on," Carl said.

"I knew enough to know you guys act like cold-hearted assassins all the time," Billie said.

Suddenly Billie's parents transformed in appearance. The clothing the Jenkins wore was black formal wear. But it was more than just that. Their demeanor changed.

"Well I guess we can't set your new ability aside until later," Harry said.

"What is going on here?" Paige questioned.

"Billie showed signs of a new power earlier," Phoebe explained. "We thought it was just confined to making flowers wilt by sucking the life out of them. I guess not."

Carl and Helen turned to one another and began admiring one another. That turned to kissing which while freaking their daughter out also served to distract them while the magicals talked about the situation.

"Let's talk over here," Piper suggested as she drew everyone into the next room but still in sight of the Jenkins. "Alright…Billie, Phoebe, why don't you go upstairs and check the book about this new ability."

"I'll join you in looking," Prue told Billie and Phoebe.

"And Harry and I will stay here and keep an eye on the Jenkins with you Piper," Paige added.

After Billie and Phoebe had headed upstairs Paige and Piper continued to discuss the situation. Harry turned his attention back on the Jenkins just in time to see them trying to get the drop on Harry and his girlfriends. Carl leapt forward and engaged Harry in hand-to-hand. Helen did the same to Paige and Piper. The training the sisters had been receiving from Harry kicked in and between the two sisters they were able to hold off Helen. It was obvious that Helen had just been given a serious Martial Arts skill from what Billie had done. While Helen was better than Paige and Piper the sisters were skilled enough and held a numbers advantage. Harry was easily more skilled than Carl.

The fight was a flurry of rapid movements that saw Carl rendered unconscious in less than twenty seconds. Harry then turned his attention to Helen and sent ropes lashing out to wrap around her and tie her to a chair.

"Let me go," Helen snarled. "You can't hold us here. We will kill you."

Harry sent a gag wrapping around Helen's mouth. Carl was placed in a chair and tied up as well.

"Thanks Harry," Paige said as she got her breathing under control.

"That was intense," Piper added. "Let's go see what the others have come up with."

Harry followed Piper and Paige upstairs.

"What happened to you?" Prue asked when she noticed the ruffled look of her sisters and Harry.

"The Jenkins tried getting away," Paige answered.

"We subdued them," Piper said. "Any luck up here?"

"I think she has the power to project some of her desires into being without a spell or potion. The ability comes in varying levels. We'll have to focus on control later," Phoebe explained.

"How do we change them back?" Paige questioned.

"We are still working on that," Billie admitted. "I'm going to go down to keep an eye on my parents. I just want to make sure they stay out of trouble." Harry followed Billie back downstairs and when they entered the place he had tied up her parents they found the ropes had been cut and the Jenkins were gone. "Oh no…I can only imagine what trouble they are causing. We have to go after them."

"Alright but we should take some stun potions with us. Your parents are skilled hand-to-hand fighters now," Harry said.

"Good idea," Billie agreed.

Pelham Building Main Conference Hall

Harry and Prue were invisible as they accompanied Billie, Phoebe, Paige, and Piper into Pelham's conference hall where a press conference was ongoing. They entered to see Carl Jenkins standing aiming what a casual observer would think was a voice recorder commonly used by reporters at the Pelham C.E.O. Grant.

"I know there have been concerns about the direction of Pelham. But I want to assure everyone in every division from microchips to turbines that Pelham will remain a family owned company," Grant announced.

Piper realized something was wrong and froze the scene just as a gunshot rang out from the gun Carl held disguised as a recording device.

"Why would they try to kill this guy?" Billie asked.

"Because I wanted them to," Nanta the demon declared as she shimmered into visibility standing at the table next to where Rod Dalvos sat. "Just so you know whether you vanquish me it won't save mommy or daddy. The chairman is still going to die. They will still be blamed for his murder." She paused with a sadistic grin to let that knowledge sink in. "Afterwards our greatest creation, for all intents and purposes a human, Rod Dalvos will take over. We will have the demonic foothold we have worked a generation to achieve."

"And just how do you plan to still kill him? I don't see you using a gun," Piper pointed out.

In answer Dalvos revealed he wasn't frozen and stood to pull a gun himself. Phoebe had been nearby while invisible. Her dagger whipped out and went through Dalvos' palm. Piper could see Nanta was moving to attack Phoebe with a fireball so dropped the freezing spell and sent a blasting spell towards the demon. Paige meanwhile had gone and taken care of the frozen bullet heading towards Grant. Nanta managed to shimmer out before the blasting spell hit her. In the chaos that ensued from the gunshot nobody noticed the demon's exit. But Grant certainly noticed the gun his cousin had been holding.

"He's got a gun," Grant shouted. "Security!"

Dalvos ran from the room clutching his bloody hand. Phoebe was still invisible. Piper re-froze the room.

"Get the Jenkins out of here," Prue urged Paige.

Paige orbed Billie's parents away.

"Are we good here?" Piper asked.

"Yes. I've scrubbed the video footage of anything incriminating for the Jenkins," Harry announced.

Billie, Harry, and the sisters left.

Halliwell Manor

"I can't believe this…why didn't they tell me?" Billie asked as she looked at what Harry had uncovered.

Billie was looking at a summary of her parent's investigations into Christy's disappearance. Carl and Helen had been searching for their missing daughter without fail for over a decade.

"They may be pretty crappy communicators but at least you know they haven't given up on your sister," Harry pointed out.

"True," Billie agreed. "But now I feel terrible for the way I treated them."

"That is on them, not you. They didn't tell you what they were doing. In fact they seem to have gone out of their way to hide it from you," Harry suggested.

"You make a good point. I guess once we figure out how to change them back I will have to ask them why," Billie said while smiling faintly at her boyfriend. "I'm really at a loss as to how to change them back. Do you have any ideas? I know you like to try to let your girlfriends solve their own issues as much as possible as long as our lives aren't seriously threatened. But I'm at a loss and giving me suggestions can't hurt right?"

"I suppose you are right. I'll just make a suggestion. It was your frustration over your parents' handling of the whole Christy situation that saw you able to tap into your new ability. Well part of that frustration has been resolved since you found out that they haven't given up on Christy. But I still think you need to talk to them about it," Harry pointed out.

"But will talking to them in their transformed state do any good?" Billy wondered.

"You can try it and see," Harry replied.

Harry's House

"I still think it's super kinky that you have a room devoted to holding prisoners beneath your house," Billie whispered to her boyfriend as she entered the magically expanded prison room of his house.

"It has come in handy," Harry replied as they came to a stop in the hallway between two oppositely positioned cells.

"Have you come here to torture us?" Helen asked.

"No mom," Billie replied.

"I don't know why you keep calling me that," Helen replied.

"Because I am your daughter," Billie answered. Harry had suggested that she had to get emotional to tap into her newest power. Getting emotional wasn't hard when she thought about the fact that her parents didn't know who she was. "I came here to talk to you about Christy, your other daughter. She was kidnapped many years ago. And I just found out that you have been searching for her all this time. I thought you had forgotten about her."

Helen and Carl's features had slowly begun to shift from looks of suspicion to looks of concern. And then Harry sensed as Billie's magic reached out and unraveled the transformation magic she had cast upon them. Carl and Helen's clothing shifted back to normal.

"Oh honey…we tried to give you a normal life. We didn't realize what it was doing to you," Helen said through the bars.

Harry gestured and the cell doors opened up.

"It was…it was too painful to talk about with you," Carl admitted as he came over and hugged his daughter. "We felt like we failed Christy as parents and you too."

"Did you know she was a witch?" Billie said while hugging her parents one at a time with tears in her eyes.

"Yes. Just like your grandmother. It skipped a generation," Helen explained.

"Maybe we could sit down and talk about what leads you have pursued and compare notes? I'm searching for her too through magical channels," Billie suggested.

"We would like that," Carl said after exchanging a look with his wife.

"There was one lead we definitely could never figure out…a symbol in the back of Christy's diary.

As Billie walked with her parents and boyfriend up into the upper level of his house so they could talk some more she felt that not only was this the turning point to better improve relations with her parents but also in finding Christy. Time would prove Billie Jenkins right.

"What are two of my favorite ladies up to?" Harry asked as he entered the attic where Phoebe and Piper were talking.

Phoebe was holding a TIVO unit.

"Piper is obsessing a bit over trying to use divining techniques to locate the threat we are supposed to be facing," Phoebe said.

"Well forgive me if I don't want to risk losing the man I love," Piper declared.

Harry pulled Piper into a hug and whispered, "It's ok. You won't lose me."

"You can't predict that. And an Angel of Destiny is a pretty big threat," Piper said.

"You trust in Cordelia's abilities, Piper. She seems pretty confident that Harry will be alright," Phoebe informed her sister.

"What's with the TIVO?" Harry asked.

"I was wondering if I should bring it with me," Phoebe explained.

Phoebe was moving out of the manor house and into Harry's house.

"I have technology far better than the TIVO and access to whatever shows you want to watch," Harry said assuredly.

"Ah. Then I'll be leaving this here then," Phoebe agreed.

"Piper, Billie has been studying magical divining techniques to look for Christy ever since she learned she was a witch. You might find it helpful to enlist her assistance," Harry suggested.

"I will do that. I'll go call her right now," Piper said.

The trio left the attic.

"You look gorgeous today in that blue top," Harry whispered to Phoebe.

"Thank you," Phoebe replied with a grin for her boyfriend. He stopped her progress down the stairs with his hands on her hips and she turned her head to look back at him. Harry leaned in and stole a kiss. Phoebe moaned approvingly into the kiss. His lips tasted of cinnamon and apples. She felt his ardor pressing against her backside. "Hmm…I think we need to say goodbye to my old room in style," Phoebe suggested before heading into her old room and setting the TIVO down.

Harry got to see just how gorgeous Phoebe was without that blue top.

The Attic

"I really appreciate you coming," Piper told Billie.

"It was no problem at all," Billie said as she walked over to the area Piper had been brewing potions in. "Trust me…I have just as much interest in making sure Harry is safe."

"I take it that means things are going well with your new boyfriend then?" Piper said probingly.

"Definitely…he's definitely unique. But I'm sure I don't have to tell you that," Billie said.

"No you don't," Piper agreed. "You're in love with him."

"Yes…but we haven't said as much to each other yet," Billie admitted.

"Oh I think he knows," Piper advised.

"I wouldn't be surprised. It looks like you didn't use quite enough Piatha root. You have to use just the right amount if you want to catch any cosmic signals," Billie said as she started grinding up the right amount. "I'm going to bring Harry in. I always do when I'm practicing divination magic these days. We're opening up pathways into other realms that can gain the attention of beings we would rather not face alone."

Harry entered the attic at that point having responded to Billie's text. Billie had already mixed up the potion and just needed to add the root. When she saw Harry was present she added the root. A smoky fireball rose out of the cauldron. A glowing Chinese symbol was left on the surface of the potion.

"Now we just have to figure out what that sign belongs to," Piper noted.

Chinatown

"A dry cleaning shop in Chinatown seems an odd place to find a great threat for us to battle," Piper stated.

"The grand design works in mysterious ways," Harry suggested.

Harry and the two ladies went inside. Piper rang the bell on the counter.

"May I help you?" Lo Pan asked as he came out of the back of the shop. "You here for pickup?"

"We were just admiring your sign out front," Piper said.

"We were led here through magical means. I think you know what we are talking about," Harry said. To his girlfriends Harry added telepathically, "There's a magical portal in the back and this guy has a bit of magical energy of his own."

"That would be the eternal cycle," Lo Pan explained. "It represents a sacred chain of life. You have answered my call for aid. Please, follow me."

Harry and the ladies followed Lo Pan into the back of the shop. Lo Pan briefly paused in front of a wall-hanging depicting an ancient looking oriental archway from which the sounds of fighting were emanating. Then Lo Pan walked through it revealing the hanging to be a portal. Harry and his ladies followed and came out inside a garden where a Chinese man carrying a white staff was being bombarded by demons throwing fireballs. The Chinese man fell just as Harry and his ladies entered the garden.

"Don't let him get the staff," Lo Pan warned.

Billie sent a minor wave of telekinesis at the staff knocking it away from the lead demon. Piper lashed out with blasting magic. The lead demon survived several hits from Piper but he and his followers faded away. Lo Pan went over and checked on the fallen man who almost immediately dissolved into motes of light before vanishing.

"A Zodiac has never died before," Lo Pan said. "It is now on you to protect the staff."

"And what is the significance of this staff?" Piper questioned.

The staff was white with a dragon head carved into it.

"This staff was Buddha's mystical staff," Lo Pan explained. "It must be passed to the next Zodiac in the New Year or the eternal cycle ends."

"And what is the significance of this garden we are in?" Billie probed.

"This is the sacred garden which has long served as the place for the ceremonial passing of the staff," Lo Pan clarified. "My family has had the honor of finding a place for the sacred garden's existence each and every year. The demon Novak has been trying to steal the staff when it is vulnerable as it is now for many years. The staff has the power to influence vast numbers of people. I do not think you want that power falling into the hands of evil."

"How do we proceed protecting the staff?" Piper questioned.

"You must be of clear mind so that you don't influence those around you with your personality," Lo Pan replied. "I have a record of Novak's past attacks that you might find helpful."

"When does the ceremony begin?" Piper asked.

"At midnight," Lo Pan replied while looking at an hourglass which was counting down the time.

Piper walked over and plucked the staff out of the air where it had been hovering.

Halliwell Manor

"There you are," Piper said as she walked into the sun room and found Paige sitting chatting with Prue.

"What is that?" Prue asked her younger sister while nodding towards the staff.

"Oh…just a potentially world ending artifact we have been charged to protect until midnight," Piper said nonchalantly.

A small stream of red magic came out of the staff and flowed towards the sisters. Prue was quick enough to get a shield Harry had taught her to erect up in time. Harry had stayed back in the garden to keep an eye on Billie. He could of course be at the sisters' side in a heartbeat if they needed him.

"What was that?" Prue asked as the reddish magic stopped.

"Oops," Piper said. "This could be harder than I thought."

"I have to go find the threat which is causing the Angel of Destiny to threaten Harry," Paige said before she left to head up to the attic.

"Ok…now she's obsessing over the threat," Prue said. "What gives?"

"It's a long story," Piper said before launching into the story.

The Sacred Garden

"I can't make heads or tails of Novak's attack patterns," Billie said.

"That's because you are using your eyes and not your powers," Lo Pan said as he entered the garden carrying a tea service. "Specifically you need to gain mastery over your power of projection. You need to use it to first help yourself by finding answers to your quest for your sister."

"That is why you were brought here. This garden is a magical place. I know you have begun to master the beginnings of your projection power with Harry's help. But you will find this place even more helpful in learning to control your power," Lo Pan explained.

"What do I need to do?" Billie asked while glancing at her boyfriend excitedly.

"Look at that pe-jing tree. It is a simple living creature within the world surrounding us," Lo Pan explained while pointing out a small tree in the garden. "Like all things it follows a cycle which is nearing its end. But you have the power to see its cycle at the beginning again, to project what you will upon it. Focus on the tree while reaching within yourself to your power. See what you want to see."

Harry felt the magic of this place flowing into Billie aiding her efforts. She had closed her eyes and the tree she was targeting was encompassed in a golden glow before it shifted into a young healthy tree.

"Congratulations," Harry told his girlfriend happily.

Outside of the sacred garden Billie would have been able to do a partial projection. The tree would have gotten younger but not reached the age she had wanted it to reach. And after a day or so the projection would have reverted back. By practicing in the garden Billie's magical core would learn what it needed to learn to solidify her projections.

"You can do more than just that. You can see your sister much earlier in her cycle," Lo Pan advised.

Halliwell Manor

Piper came down the stairs having sensed something strange from the living room / entrance hall area. She couldn't define the feeling. At first she saw nothing. But then five Chinese men appeared wearing Zodiac robes.

"The staff belongs to us," Dog announced.

"I was charged by Lo Pan with protecting the staff until midnight," Piper replied.

"That was not within Lo Pan's authority," Dog explained.

"Well I need to hear that from Lo Pan. I received custody of the staff from him," Piper explained.

"Please give us several moments to confer," Dog said before huddling up with the other Zodiac.

After several moments of conferring Dog said, "I apologize. When we sensed the staff leaving Rooster's hands upon his death we feared the demons had taken the staff. We tracked it here. Lo Pan is only a servant but now that we are no longer consumed with fear for the staff's safety we do not sense any evil magic here. Where is here?"

"I am one of the Charmed Ones," Piper said. "Perhaps you have heard of us."

"Ah yes," Dog said. "I see why Lo Pan chose you."

"I believe you have something that belongs to me witch," Novak said as he and his crony demons appeared at the entrance of the manor.

"Prue, Paige, Phoebe," Piper called.

Prue came running down the stairs recognizing the tone in her sister's voice for what it was. Paige appeared several moments later. Piper was suspicious that Phoebe was around using her invisibility gifts.

"So you have more witches. We can still kill you," Novak said while throwing a fireball at Piper.

Prue gestured with her hand and sent the fireball hurtling back at one of Novak's minions. Then all out battle broke out.

Meanwhile in the Sacred Garden

Billie was sitting in a meditation position as Lo Pan coached her.

"Think deep down what you truly want to see," Lo Pan advised. "Feel it emotionally."

"I want to see Christy and know what my sister has been going through all of these years," Billie said. "I want to help her with her trials like sisters are supposed to do for each other."

Lo Pan and Harry could both hear the emotion in Billie's tone.

"Good," Lo Pan said. "Focus on that. Close your eyes and allow the world that surrounds you to disappear. Allow time to be nothing but an idea."

Billie had recently received unique training in this. Time had truly lost meaning for Billie when she had made love to Harry. Their first time had only been two nights previously. Her mind flashed back to that point.

Flashback

Smut Scene Redacted (See Hpfanficarchive for Erotic Version) - End Flashback

Billie focused on that visceral timeless sensation she had experienced making love.

"Think of only Christy and where she went. Let your power take you where you need to go," Lo Pan said.

It was hard for Billie to separate Harry from her thoughts of Christy considering she was using her experiences with him to find Christy. This was why when the world around Billie changed from her perspective to a dark cell that Harry was drawn with her. She opened her eyes and looked around.

"Where am I?" Billie asked.

"This is where Christy was held prisoner," Harry advised. "Look, in the dark," Harry said while pointing.

A small amount of light filtered in through the bars covering a viewing hole in the cell door. A young girl slowly walked into the light.

"Is that you Christy?" Billie asked.

"Yes," Christy said.

"I am your sister Billie. Do you know where you are at?" Billie asked.

"Billie," Christy said in wonder. "How are you here?"

"I'm not sure," Billie said. "Do you know where you are at? This is very important."

"I don't know where I am at. I hear them outside whispering. But I don't understand what they are saying. I never understand what they are saying. Then they stop for a while…sometimes for a long time. But then they start again. I don't know what they want," Christy said in tears.

"Have you tried using your powers? You have magic," Billie said. "You are a witch just like me." Billie found a small metal pendant necklace on the ground. "Where did you get this?"

"They gave it to me. They all wear it," Christy said.

"This is the symbol from your diary," Billie replied.

Just then voices could be heard coming from outside the cell.

"It's them," Christy said in terror. "Please take me home."

Then the view shifted back to the sacred garden.

"Where is Christy?" Billie asked as she spun and saw Lo Pan. "Why couldn't I save her?"

"You didn't go to that time and place to save Christy, Billie," Lo Pan answered. "You went there to see her and understand. She was vulnerable and open to you which is why your power took you to that time. It was a time before she changed. Surely you received something from your journey."

"I understood that her kidnappers are after her powers which she doesn't even know she has yet at that point I visited her," Billie replied.

Billie realized she was still holding the pendant she had obtained from Christy's past.

"You can't save her back then. But perhaps you can save her now after you help save us," Lo Pan suggested.

Lo Pan glanced towards the hourglass.

"That won't be necessary. You have already been helped. Novak and his ilk have just been vanquished back at the manor," Harry announced.

"You aren't the only one who knows things," Billie told Lo Pan with a grin.

Later in the Sacred Garden

The sisters arrived in the sacred garden as Lo Pan stood with the Zodiac wearing the robes that marked him as one of their number.

"What's going on?" Piper asked as she carried the staff.

"I have now been elevated so that I am Rooster," Lo Pan explained with a smile.

"Congratulations," Piper said. "Here is your staff."

"Thank you," Lo Pan said. "You have proven that patience can be rewarded. You must be patient in that you will discover the threat that risks Harry's safety."

Lo Pan bowed to the sisters and then returned to the other Zodiac.

Christy's Cell

Billie entered Christy's cell with Harry right behind her. This time they used the door. The pendant had been used to track the location down.

"Christy," Billie said when she saw her fully grown sister.

Christy looked wild with her hair all a mess and dirt streaks covering her face. But she was still quite gorgeous.

"Billie," Christy said in a scratchy voice rarely used.

"It's me Christy. We have come to take you home," Billie said while walking forward and pulling Christy into a hug.

Christy flinched at the physical contact but gradually relaxed into the hug. Christy locked eyes with Harry and he could see curiosity there.

"What about the guards?" Christy asked after drawing back from the hug.

"We vanquished them all on the way in," Billie replied. "This is my boyfriend Harry."

"Where are we going?" Christy asked while following her sister and Harry out of the cell.

"You will be staying with Harry here," Billie explained.

"Where will you be staying?" Christy questioned.

"I will probably be over at Harry's more often than not," Billie replied. "We can worry about that later. Let's just get out of here and back to his place."

The wards on this demonic lair were quite impressive. Harry had punched through at a weak spot. He could probably punch out of the wards to his home if he were by himself. But doing that with the sisters might prove dangerous for them. The three magic users made it out of the lair without further challenge.
