"This is certainly an interesting reality you've chosen to come to my husband," Aphrodite's sweet voice filtered through Harry's mind as he emerged from slumber, Kara still sleeping peacefully.

"Indeed," Harry agreed as he searched through Baltar's memories.

The universe Harry now found himself in was one where the remnants of humanity (roughly fifty thousand souls) were on the run from the Cylons, an artificially created life-form built by man to make the lives of mankind easier. The Cylons didn't like their treatment so had rebelled. After a long and bloody war a truce had been called. That truce had lasted for many years until the Cylons broke it with a wide scale attack which resulted in the death of most of the humans on the twelve colonies. Harry's counterpart Gaius was tricked by a never before seen model of Cylon, a human-form model, into revealing the secrets necessary to leave the colonies defenseless.

Now the survivors were crammed into a small fleet of spaceships struggling to try to find a home while hiding from the Cylon fleet, still trying to kill them all. Harry decided he would have to help the group of mortals to make up for his counterpart's indiscretions, even if it really wasn't Harry's responsibility. Gaius Baltar was also the chief science advisor to the president, Laura Roslin, and the Vice President of the colonies.

"I hate politics," Harry grumbled as he got out of bed, waking Kara.

"Hello lover," Harry greeted before leaning down and kissing Kara tenderly.

"Morning…How long was I out?" Kara asked as her face switched from a smile to a frown.

Harry liked the smile better.

"You were pretty tired out. Don't worry about your shift. I used my influence to smooth things over. I simply told them you were assisting me with some experiments for the captured Cylon fighter. It now has an autopilot system designed for it and ready to be put in," Harry explained.

"Damn you move fast. I could have sworn you would have been just as tired as I was," Kara said appreciatively as she stood up and stretched, not caring that she was exposing all of herself to Harry.

"Well I have got a hell of a lot of stamina," Harry replied as he admired Kara's backside.

"Don't I know it! You surprised me Gaius," Kara told him as she bent over to find her clothes, hastily discarded on the floor before they fracked, as Kara phrased it.

"I'm full of surprises so prepare to be continually in that state," Harry informed Kara.

"I look forward to it," Kara flirted before sliding up with only her shirt on to steal another kiss.

"Here Kara…I want you to have this," Harry offered as he handed her a small cell phone shaped device. "This will allow you to get in touch with me anywhere…and I do mean anywhere. Use it if you ever need it," Harry instructed.

"Will do," Kara assured. "Now I really do need to get to work. I would feel lazy if I skipped my shift. We'll definitely have to do this again," Kara promised before copping a feel of his ass on the way out.

"Do you love her Gaius?" A new voice asked.

Harry turned to see a beautiful blonde that would rival Aphrodite and many of his other beautiful wives in the looks department standing there, looking at him accusingly. This apparition was something which had been bugging Gaius since he had parted ways with the Cylon model who tricked him on the colonies. The apparition was modeling her form after that of the blonde Cylon responsible. Gaius had thought she was a mental construct of his own creation, torturing him for the guilt of what he had done. But Harry could see the divinity in the blonde beauty.

"Yes…but that doesn't mean I love you any less my dear," Harry replied, wisely.

"Who is she," Harry asked Aphrodite mentally, realizing the reality bound goddess appearing only to Gaius could not see his Ascended wife.

"That would be this reality's version of Athena. The Greek pantheon in this universe led their people into space before growing bored with the mortals. Now the gods toy with the mortals in an endless cycle of allowing the mortals to destroy themselves. You have stumbled upon one of the less civilized versions of the pantheon. But Harry…I can sense her feelings for you. She truly does love you," Aphrodite explained.

"Gaius you surprise me," Athena declared with warmth showing up in her previously angry and jealous eyes. "You make out like you don't care."

"Oh I care," Harry assured as he stepped up to the Goddess of Wisdom. He placed his hands on her hips. She was only corporeal to him, passing through anybody else unless she chose not to. "I just can't show it very much if I'm the only one who sees you," Harry added while being careful to keep the part of his mind that was more than what the old Gaius knew out of her telepathic reach.

Harry leaned over and kissed Athena deeply. She moaned into his mouth.

"Keep that up Gaius and I'll have to see how good your stamina really is," Athena teased before smacking her lips and flicking her tongue out a moment. "Huh…Kara really does taste good," Athena mused as she tasted Kara's flavor off Harry's lips from the sixty-nine session the two lovers had shared in the middle of the night.

"You might have to find out from the source sometime," Harry suggested with a wag of his eyebrows just before he left the room.

The mess hall, a short while later…

"I'm out," Lt. Felix Gaeta announced as he threw down his cards.

"It's not your turn," Lee Adama pointed out.

There was much laughing in amusement around the table as Harry observed the interactions of everybody around him. Harry made to pour a drink for Gaeta to console the bridge officer.

"No thank you Doctor. I have a shift later," Gaeta declined.

"Come on. Do you guys always play this slow?" Lee asked to quiet the banter.

"There's an attraction between those two," Aphrodite pointed out as she gestured to Lee and Officer Anastasia Dualla.

"Yes but it's stronger in favor of Dualla towards Lee," Harry answered telepathically.

"Not for long," Aphrodite said as she worked her powers on the pair.

The two mortals were exchanging looks quickly with each other. Harry added a healthy dose of lust to the equation using his powers.

"What there's a card game and nobody told me," Kara said as she walked into the room.

"Hey she's back on her feet," Crashdown, a pilot, teased.

"You want to play Kara?" Harry asked with a teasing smile.

"Sure," Kara answered before walking over and pulling a chair up beside her new lover.

The game after that was played with much teasing on the part of Kara and Harry. Kara's hand inevitably found its way into his lap. The game didn't last much longer after that due to Harry's lust emanating from his aura, setting everyone on edge with a sexual charge. When the card players ended the game shortly after, Harry and Kara rushed back to his room. Harry sensed Lee and Dualla going off together.

Later that day Harry had to sit through some boring administrative lessons with President Roslin. She was a somewhat attractive woman but her advancing age put her out of Harry's radar. Normally that wouldn't be enough to deter the green eyed god but his instincts born of subconscious use of his future sight told Harry that he would have plenty of other wives gained from his current universe of habitation. He did however pick up immediately on the fact that Laura had a very nasty and quite fatal case of breast cancer. When the administrative session was over Harry approached Laura and got very close before wrapping his arms around her in a warm hug.

"I just wanted to thank you Laura for believing in me," Harry informed Laura while healing her cancer in that embrace.

"I'm glad I did Gaius. You have proven yourself capable," Laura replied as she felt suddenly much better than she had in years.

After that meeting Laura decided it might be a good idea to go have a checkup with her doctor.

"Gaius I want to warn you that it's not safe to remain on Galactica. I can't tell you why but you should leave for a while," Athena warned.

"Ok…I'll make arrangements," Harry promised while ordering Aristotle to increase the replicat protection detail he had on Kara, even if she was very hard to kill with her new powers granted as one of his wives.

OP – BSG – OP – BSG – OP – BSG – OP – BSG – OP – BSG – OP – BSG – OP – BSG – OP

Harry came upon an interesting sight that afternoon when he went to Kara's quarters, a bunkroom shared by multiple pilots, to see if he couldn't spruce up her living arrangements a bit (transfiguring her mattress to be more comfortable and layering charms and such for protection and comfort). He had already noticed that Lt. Sharon 'Boomer' Valerii of this universe was none other than the counterpart of his wife, Grace Satterfield from the Stargate Universe. Harry had noticed that fact immediately during a quick scan of the memories of Gaius. Gaius had detected that Sharon was a Cylon but had chosen to keep it a secret for now under the influence of Athena. When he reached Kara's quarters Harry found Boomer getting ready to kill herself with her sidearm. She didn't hear Harry approach with all the stealth magic he had on his person.

"That wouldn't be a very good idea Boomer," Harry spoke softly, causing Sharon to jump with a start.

"Gaius…I wasn't…I mean," Sharon began before she trailed off lamely.

"I know what you were doing Sharon," Harry said softly. "Do you want to talk about it?"

"You wouldn't understand," Sharon answered in a very cliché way.

"You are afraid you're going to hurt somebody," Harry answered.

"How did you know?" Sharon asked in surprise.

"Sharon…I know what's going on with you. You are a Cylon agent…a human form Cylon," Harry explained as he suppressed her shock with a powerful calming aura directed only on Sharon.

"You said I passed the test," Sharon could only say.

"I know…it took me a while to decide how to handle this. I didn't want to startle you and provoke an unwanted reaction. You've been having blackouts haven't you?" Harry asked.

"Yes," Sharon answered.

"You have been unwittingly carrying out sabotage missions. It isn't your fault," Harry assured her.

"Then I was right to try to shoot myself," Sharon pointed out.

"Your loyalty to your friends is admirable. But shooting yourself is unnecessary. I took the liberty of running further tests on you while you were in my lab. This device," Harry spoke as he held up a small cube shaped machine. "It will destroy any harmful programming your Cylon brethren have planted into you."

"How does it work?" Sharon asked excitedly.

"It's very complicated but all I have to do is press it to your temple," Harry answered.

Sharon immediately grabbed Harry's hand and pulled it to her temple. Harry's nanites interfaced with Sharon and reprogrammed her, also ensuring she wouldn't be taken control of again.

"Thank you Gaius," Sharon whispered with tears in her eyes before leaning forward and kissing Gaius hard.

"I'm always eager to help out a beautiful female," Harry answered with a lopsided smile which was matched by Sharon a moment later. "Are you going to be alright?" Harry asked.

"Yes…I think I will. Thank you for keeping this between us," Sharon answered.

"No problem. Sharon I want you to take this. You can use it to communicate with me from anywhere," Harry explained as he slipped her a communicator.

Harry left shortly after but not before making sure Boomer would be ok. He thought he might just have to pick up the synthetic model of Grace as another wife.

"Gaius what's going on? You don't have any such technology as that cube you just described and I haven't observed you working on anything new," Athena demanded once they were in the hall.

"A guy has to have a little mystery darling," Harry responded.

"You can't hide anything from me," Athena answered immediately before delving into his mind with her telepathy, trying to find the answer. A moment later she was left panting and shaking her head. "How did you do that?!" Athena demanded.

"Like I said my love…a guy has to have a little mystery or you'd get bored," Harry answered before reaching over and steadying Athena from falling over.

Athena was quiet for quite a while. This gave Harry a good opportunity to attend the fleet staff briefing in the Galactica main conference room. Galactica was the only battleship of the colonies left with the fleet. It was an older model, left over from the last war. The ship was not very nice to look at but it held its own.

"You could be right…this may be Kobol," Commander William Adama, Lee's father and the Captain of the Galactica, stated as he looked at aerial photos taken by Boomer and Crashdown in their last exploratory mission. "I think we should seriously consider permanent settlement on this planet."

"The scriptures tell us that Kobol points the way to Earth," Elosha spoke up to say.

Elosha was a spiritual leader in the universe Harry had decided to name the Cylon universe. The scriptures she spoke of were in reference to a Greek god based religion, although the term Greek wasn't mentioned. That term was indigenous to Earth.

"Organize a ground survey team, three raptors," Adama ordered Lee while ignoring Elosha. "I want a complete survey of the ruins immediately."

"Yes Sir," Lee replied.

"I'll be going as well," Harry spoke up to say.

"Your presence won't be necessary Doctor thank you," Adama replied.

"I quite disagree, Commander. I'll be going to give Laura a better picture of the planet as her Vice President," Harry responded while emphasizing his title.

Vice President certainly trumped Ship Commander.

"That sounds like a good idea," Laura spoke up. "We need to talk," She added specifically to Bill Adama.

"Sure," Bill answered briefly before turning his attention back to the photos.

Inside a raptor, not long after…

Boomer was looking much better as she piloted the raptor Harry was sitting in the back of.

"FTL spun up and ready," Crashdown announced.

The FTL drive was a propulsion method Harry found intriguing. Apparently it had been given to the mortals of the Cylon universe by the gods before the gods had grown bored. The drive was a form of wormhole drive. The calculations necessary made the drive difficult to use without access to the advanced computers Harry had. The Galactica policy on networked computers was very strict due to the Cylons being able to invade networked machines.

"Cally hold onto your lunch," Crashdown teased Cally Henderson, a Crewman Specialist Harry could tell had it bad for Chief Galen Tyrol, her CO and the former lover of Boomer.

"Already on it, love," Aphrodite informed her husband as she worked her powers on the pair.

"Jump in ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one," Crashdown announced before a feeling not unlike apparition came over Harry.

It happened quickly before they appeared in front of the planet, and the Cylon fighters attached to one Base ship (the Cylon heavy hitter warship).

"Evasive action, Cylons," Harry called out a warning over a laptop like tablet computer he held while broadcasting it to the other two raptors.

Boomer pulled some evasive maneuvers showing she was very good but there were so many raiders. The two other ships were able to jump out, back to Galactica, but Boomer's copilot was hit, the round going through the windshield then the floor. The ship was going down as the rear engine was clipped.

"Head for the planet," Harry managed to get across to Boomer as he put temporary seals over the two holes in the hull.

Harry pulled the dead copilot out of the chair he was in before taking the seat.

"You doing ok, Sharon?" Harry asked calmly over the shouts of the others in the back.

"Oh just peachy Gaius…I'm trying to pilot a very damaged ship," Boomer answered back somewhat sarcastically.

"You can do it," Harry encouraged her.

They made it through the upper atmosphere before the cracked windshield began to crack even more.

"Everybody down," Harry shouted in warning before he jumped in front of Sharon and shielded her from getting shrapnel in the face.

The polymer shards bounced harmlessly off Harry's back.

"I can't see," Sharon shouted a moment later as the wind whipped in her face.

Harry slammed a small object into the seal of the broken out window and tapped a button on his pad. An energy barrier slammed up and the wind immediately died down. Harry purposefully used an inferior shield design to make it look like it was something he was in the progress of inventing. Sharon stared in amazement before throwing Harry an appreciative look. Harry really loved universes where his counterpart was already a scientist.

Sharon was able to avoid a mountainside now that she could see better but they were quickly going to crash. About five seconds before they were to hit the ground Harry tossed a small canister into the air behind his seat which exploded into yellow foam not unlike the Great Stuff sealant Uncle Vernon had used to make Harry use around the house. This foam was designed to absorb high kinetic energy impacts. Harry grabbed Sharon out of her seat and threw her into the expanding foam just before he jumped in himself.

The ship landed hard but everyone except the copilot was alive. The foam dissolved a minute after it had formed.

"Thank god we had you with us Gaius," Boomer declared appreciatively.

"Indeed," Harry said simply in response as he extinguished a nearby fire with a canister of the flame retardant foam.

"Is everybody alright?" Boomer asked.

"Everybody except him," Crashdown answered while pointing at the dead copilot.

"We should get a move on out of here before ground patrols show up," Boomer commanded.

Boomer and Crashdown were both the same rank but Boomer had been given operational authority over the raptor she was flying.

"That would not be the best course of action," Gaius spoke up.

"What would?" Boomer questioned curiously.

"This device," Harry spoke as he pulled a small black half sphere out of his bag, "Is a sensor dispersion field generator. It's something I have been working on for some time now. It magnetically attaches itself to the top of the ship and will hide us from the raiders. The SDF generator won't work against human form Cylons' more advanced visual sensors but it will work for the raider models."

"Damn," Tyrol summed it up nicely.

"Yeah…put it on Doc," Boomer instructed with a grin spared for a man who was rapidly becoming her favorite person.

With a nod Harry climbed out of the ship and attached the SDF generator on the top of the downed raptor. While up there he listened to a report from Aristotle detailing the damage to the downed vessel. The replicat had acted quickly to prevent an explosion of the ship that would have occurred due to crash damage soon after they had landed. Phasing through the majority of the ship Aristotle had quickly suppressed the explosive reactants with his nanites.

"Gaius…Gaius are you there?" Starbuck's voice came out of his pocket.

"Kara…good to hear from you," Harry greeted warmly as he climbed down back into the ship.

"This thing will work over that distance? Damn…I wasn't sure it would actually work," Kara said. "Anyway are you guys ok? The other two raptors just made it back."

"We're all fine except Jefferson. He was shot in the initial attack and is dead. Now tell me Kara what crazy plan is brewing in your head to take care of that base ship?" Harry asked.

The others in the raptor were listening on curiously while staring at the communicator.

"How did you know I was thinking of a way? Never mind," Kara replied before detailing a plan involving their captured raider and flying the ship with a nuke close enough to attack.

"Kara give me three hours before you try your plan. I've got something safer in mind," Harry instructed.

"Ok Gaius but there isn't any ordinance on that raptor capable of taking out a base ship," Kara pointed out in response.

"Not yet," Harry replied enigmatically. "Gaius out," Harry announced before cutting off communications.

"Tyrol, Cally I need you two to remove the FTL drive module while I work on some other things," Harry informed the two mechanics.

"Sure thing Gaius…shouldn't take more than fifteen minutes," Cally replied while Tyrol nodded his agreement.

"Crashdown, Boomer could you guys get me one of your missiles off the ship?" Harry requested.

"Sure Gaius," Boomer answered.

Harry went to work outside in a nearby clearing. He was interrupted shortly after by another call from Kara.

"What's up, love?" Harry asked after she had said his name to get his attention.

"The president just asked me to take the raider to Caprica during the autopilot test flight. She wants me to retrieve the Arrow of Apollo from there so she can lead us to Earth. Adama never knew the location of Earth. He lied to give everyone hope. What do you think I should do?" Kara asked with obvious turmoil in her voice.

Harry channeled calming feelings over his bond with Kara.

"First of all doing what Roslin requested would be an extremely bad idea. Doing so will likely tear the government apart. Second I'm already working on the situation. One of my hobbies back on Caprica was studying ancient mythology/history. I duplicated the Arrow of Apollo and have the replica here with me. I'll take care of getting us to Earth. Don't you worry love and most certainly don't risk your freedom for it," Harry urged.

"Ok…I won't do it then. Thanks Gaius…and you stay safe. I expect your cute ass back here ASAP," Kara ordered.

"Yes ma'am," Harry replied with a smile before going back to work.

"It won't work you know Gaius," Athena informed Harry as he worked.

"The Arrow," Harry asked.

"Yes…no replica will work," Athena answered, confident in her words.

Harry assumed that was because the original had enchantments on it. Aristotle had replicats working on the arrow as Harry stood there talking to Athena. They would be able to replicate the enchantments easily enough.

"That's why I stole the original and replaced it with a fake long ago," Harry informed Athena with a grin.

"Gaius you continue to amaze me," Athena informed him with a wide grin.

"You haven't seen anything yet, my love," Harry replied as Tyrol, Cally, Boomer, and Crashdown came over with the parts Harry had asked for.

OP – BSG – OP – BSG – OP – BSG – OP – BSG – OP – BSG – OP – BSG – OP – BSG – OP

"So what are you doing Gaius?" Boomer asked curiously while examining the contraption Harry was putting together.

"The jump drive is going to create a wormhole through which I will send that explosive. My computer pad here has advanced spatial sensors I created which will act as the targeting system," Harry explained.

"But as Starbuck pointed out earlier that warhead doesn't have a high enough yield for a base ship," Tyrol pointed out.

"Did you guys see me replacing the warhead with that sphere from the back of my pad earlier?" Harry asked.

"Yes," Cally answered.

"Well that was the backup power module. It's a small amount of antimatter stored in a magnetic container," Harry clarified.

"By the gods," Boomer exclaimed.

"You said it," Crashdown agreed.

"And here we go," Harry announced as he finished and typed a few commands on his pad.

They all had to look away as the wormhole drive did its job and opened a bright hole in space and time. The missile shot through and a moment later there was a blinding flash of light in the sky.

"Frack me," Cally said, summing the situation up nicely for everyone.

OP – BSG – OP – BSG – OP – BSG – OP – BSG – OP – BSG – OP – BSG – OP – BSG – OP

"You don't frack around Gaius," Starbuck told Harry a half hour later when she stepped out of the raptor with the rest of the rescue team, a second raptor sitting beside Starbuck's.

Only half a dozen raiders had survived the explosion of the base star. The Galactica had made short work of those half dozen. Roslin, Adama, Lee, Harry, Starbuck, Boomer, and several soldiers were the ones going to go looking for the tomb of Athena. They began in Galleon Meadow, where the original ship carrying the leaders of the thirteen colonies had taken off from.

"According to the scriptures those who didn't board the galleon, the ship, took the high road, the rocky ridge that leads to the tomb," Harry announced. "Up there," Harry pointed towards the correct path.

"Let's move," Roslin ordered.

"The path is supposed to be marked by grave stones," Harry said a half hour later, after the group was long in the woods.

"There's something there," Roslin pointed.

"Wait…hold on a second," Harry ordered as he glanced at his tablet.

"What is it?" Commander Adama asked.

"Metal…lots of it. Mines there and…oh shit Centurions," Harry shouted just before the first shot rang out.

Adama and his men began firing back as most everybody took cover behind the thicker trees. Harry pulled out a plasma rifle which he would say he had created recently and had broken down into parts which he quickly assembled. In actuality it was transported down via his cruiser using the wormhole transporter so there was no visible flash. Harry made his shots count, blowing off the heads of the centurions cleanly.

"Nice shooting Doctor," Adama admitted after checking to make sure everybody was alright.

"I try," Harry answered gracefully.

Harry continued to the guide the group through the clues until they arrived at the entrance to the tomb of Athena.

"Can I have the arrow, Kara?" Harry asked.

Kara slipped the canister off her back which carried the arrow she had retrieved from his lab before coming. Harry's lover quickly handed over the golden arrow. Harry walked up to the heavy stone slab that he could see with his ability to see through objects was the entrance. With a loud grunt for effect Harry pushed the heavy doorway open.

"How did you do that?" Laura asked in surprise, the others showing equal shock.

"A little strength augmentation technology I've been working on. It's only experimental at the moment but I am trying to give human soldiers an even chance should we come up against Cylons in a physical contest," Harry made up easily.

"I'd say it's certainly very effective," Kara commented, eying her lover's deceptively thin form with new appreciation of the power it contained. "If the Arrow didn't actually open the tomb how do we know this is the right place?" Kara questioned as the group made their way inside.

"We don't," Bill Adama answered. "But it's a tomb alright."

"The scriptures say you need the arrow to find the map," Laura added.

"These broken statues, I recognize them," Kara announced. "The Ram, Arlon, Geminon, these are the icons of the twelve tribes; the twelve colonies. I mean this is really where it all began," Kara pointed out excitedly. "We all came from this place."

"This could be Picon the Fish," Billy, Laura's assistant, put in his two cents.

"Sagittarian, the Archer," Laura spoke up while standing near a statue which held a bow.

Harry walked immediately over to the statue and slipped the arrow into the bow. The effect was immediate as the arrow leapt out of Harry's hands and stuck to the stone bow. The door to the tomb slammed shut. A very real illusion came into being in the cavern. The vision was of a large grassy clearing with tall stone pillars with constellations lit up on each one. It was like a stargate address. Aristotle quickly recorded the address while tracing the connection which linked the illusion to the real place Harry and his companions were seeing.

"Where the hell are we?" Lee asked.

"I don't know," Laura answered.

"We're on a distant planet. Those are constellations to guide us where we need to go to find Earth," Harry supplied the answer.

"We're on Earth aren't we?" Kara asked in amazement.

Harry nodded with a smile to signal his confirmation of Kara's conclusion.

"I've seen that one before," Lee announced. "Scorpio…it's the Lagoon Nebula."

"Astral body M8," Commander Adama supplied. "That's a long way from here."

"Yeah but at least now we have a map and a direction," Lee pointed out.

"Indeed…and it's a good start," Harry added.

The group soon left to return to the fleet, a new hope in their hearts.
