Chapter 110
Galactica's Hangar Bay
"Why do you keep looking at your watch?" Bill asked his son.
"No. I was just thinking that Sharon should be on the ground and ready by now," Lee replied.
"She probably is," Bill agreed. "These are your orders," Bill added as he handed Lee a sealed parchment. "The rendezvous point is in there. Take the civilian fleet there and wait for me for 18 hours. If I don't make that time…go find Earth."
Bill and Lee had decided between them that it was too dangerous to take both of the Colonial battlestars into the rescue mission being named Exodus. Lee didn't like the plan. Bill didn't particularly like the plan. But Bill had made the call.
"You'd better be there old man," Lee said with a choked tone. He hesitated for a moment and then leaned over and embraced his father. "I mean it."
"I am getting old and a little slow. But I'll be there," Bill assured.
Lee drew back and stared at his father's face intently.
"You have LoK on your side," Lee pointed out. "I believe you. Permission to leave your ship, Sir."
"Permission granted, Commander," Bill replied.
The proper salute was performed and then Lee left in a raptor. Grace had been invisibly watching the touching moment between father and son.
"Not just LoK," Grace thought to herself. "I've got your back too."
If Harry couldn't cover everyone's ass then she would pick up the lack of coverage.

Galactica, Cargo Bay
"There you are," Harry said as he entered the cargo bay where he knew Maggie sometimes sought refuge.
Harry slid down the wall and sat next to his girlfriend. He took her hand.
"Thank you," Maggie whispered as she laid her head on his shoulder.
Harry merely nodded and wrapped his arm around her. She snuggled up against his chest taking comfort in his presence. Harry didn't need to ask. Maggie took confidence during these times before a dangerous mission. There was no doubt about it that the mission to come was dangerous.
Eventually Maggie leaned up and kissed Harry. He kissed her back. That kiss gradually deepened into something more. Maggie wanted to feel alive with the man she was in love with.
Later after they had made love and while she put her uniform back on Maggie knew she would survive. She also knew that Harry would survive. She didn't know how she knew but she felt it deep down.

The sound of a gunshot going off in closed quarters rang throughout the main cabin of the ship after Gaius Baltar had walked in. The Doral that had shot Gaius not long ago dropped dead from the bullet. There was silence in the cabin as the other cylons which had been holding a meeting stared in shock at Gaius Baltar.
"How?" Another Doral asked.
"By the will of LoK," Gaius said.
"We have a lot to talk about," Caprica-Six added.

Insurgency Headquarters
"Sir, I'm sorry to tell you this but Ellen betrayed us to the enemy," Anders reported to Saul as Anders handed over the evidence taken from the fallen Cavil.
"Ellen was supposed to dispose of this. Where did you get this?" Saul asked.
"From a fallen cylon when we were ambushed," Anders replied grimly.
Saul's expression was stricken.
"He said he'd kill you," Ellen said as she stepped into the room then.
"Who said it?" Saul asked as Anders stepped aside, giving the pair a moment.
Anders slowly made his way out of the room.
"One of the Brother Cavils. I did it for you. Surely you can see I didn't have any choice? I couldn't let them hurt you again," Ellen said.

Detention Center
Sharon went into the evidence storage room for the detention center and headed straight to locker 3-7-8. Grace had been able to provide the location of the correct locker and the key code.
"Why are you betraying your own people?" D'Anna asked from the doorway to the evidence locker. Sharon spun with a gun already drawn and aimed. "You'll never be one of them."
"That is where you are wrong. You are betraying what is right," Sharon said. "Killing them, enslaving them…it's all the same. Leave the humans alone."
"Hera lives," D'Anna said when she noticed it looked like Sharon was getting ready to pull the trigger.
"I know," Sharon said.
That was when D'Anna dropped to the ground unconscious. LoK became visible standing there.
"I've got your back. Return to your mission," Harry said as he scooped down and picked up the unconscious D'Anna.
"Thank you," Sharon said before LoK and D'Anna disappeared.
Sharon retrieved the launch keys for the ships and tucked her gun back beneath her jacket. She left as quickly as she could without drawing attention to herself.

Harry listened to Adama's speech over the Galactica PA system.
"By now you've most certainly heard the news. You know the mission. You all should also know there is only one way this mission ends. The successful rescue of our people on New Caprica is our biggest goal in the near future. Look around you. The men and women who stand next to you are worth remembering. One day you will tell your children and your grandchildren that you served with such men and women as the universe has never seen. And by working together you accomplished a feat that will be told and retold down through the ages, and find immortality as only the gods once knew. May LoK watch over you. I'm proud to serve with you. Good hunting," Bill said before hanging up the phone. To those in the CIC Bill ordered, "Begin jump prep."
Helo said, "Action stations. Set condition one throughout the ship. Standby for combat jump."
"Don't worry Bill. I've got your back," Harry thought to himself.

Tigh Household
"Tell me what happened," Saul prompted his wife.
"I had to do it. I had to. I did it all for you. I would have done anything to save you," Ellen replied.
"Just tell me what you did already," Saul said gently.
"I'm the reason you got out of detention in the first place," Ellen said. "I went to see the cylons. I figured out which one was in charge of the detention facility. It was a Cavil model. It wasn't easy but I eventually got him to notice me the way men notice me. I…I slept with him," She said while practically spitting out the words with disgust. "Every single time I felt like throwing up. But I did it and I'd do it again. I'd frack anybody, do anything. I gave them the map." She was silent for several moments. "I didn't want anyone to be killed." Ellen glanced down towards the cup in her husband's hand assuming it was one of his drinks. "I could use a drink."
Ellen took the cup from her husband's unresisting hand and took a drink. Saul watched her swallow the liquid and barely managed to resist slapping the cup out of her hands.
"You've always been there for me when I needed you, Saul," Ellen whispered. "I'm exhausted. I feel like I could just curl up and sleep right here." She laid her head on his shoulder. "I should have listened to you and stayed on Galactica."
"Don't worry about any of that now. Just go to sleep and rest," Saul said as he held her. Ellen dropped the cup as she lost consciousness. "I love you," He said as he brought his mouth to her hair. "You hear me?"
Saul lowered Ellen onto the bed they had been sitting on the edge of so that she was on her back. He began crying over what he thought was her corpse. Nearby Harry watched the entire scene invisibility while holding an empty vial of the potion Gina had recently mixed up. The contents of the vial had been spelled into the cup Ellen had just drank after the poison had been nullified. Although Ellen looked dead she was very much alive if not in a form of magical stasis.
"Someday after this is over you will know the truth," Harry thought towards Saul.
The fiction of Ellen's death was necessary for even Saul. Saul needed to believe his wife was dead so that the other Colonials would believe she was dead. Or they might really kill her! Harry waited until Saul had grieved enough to leave Ellen's body. Then Harry permanently conjured up a life-like duplicate of Ellen's corpse before replacing it with Ellen. Ellen would remain safely stored away onboard Haven until Harry felt the need to awaken her. For someone who was so used to seeing death dealt out in his past life Harry was surprisingly uneasy with it in this life. But as the supposed Master of Death Harry felt like it was his choice to make.

Maggie's Raptor
"Everyone deploy drones," Maggie ordered.
Maggie and her entire flight group deployed the drones which had been specially modified with the help of her boyfriend. The drones all began to fly in formation. She smiled in satisfaction as a hologram formed encompassing each of the two sets of drones. Even Maggie herself couldn't tell that Galactica and Pegasus weren't before her. Without Harry the drone diversion wouldn't have lasted past the fist visual sighting by the enemy.
"We have a go," Maggie announced over the radio. "I repeat…the mission is a go."

New Caprica
As the fighting ensued between insurgent forces and centurion forces Harry followed his instinct as he apparated. He appeared before a group of civilians that was catching some collateral fire from the fighting. Harry somehow knew that one or more of these civilians would die without his intervention. He raised a shield in front of the civilians just in time to block two rounds from inflicting fatal wounds upon the civilians. Then Harry was off again.
Harry had been apparating like this since the fighting started. Not long before he had discovered that if he focused upon it Harry could sense when death was imminent in his vicinity, and he could sometimes intervene to stop it. Harry suspected this was one of the abilities he had gained as a result of absorbing the Deathly Hallows. Harry sensed Haven passing overhead and saw a cylon raider which had been preparing to shoot a group of colonial civilians explode.
"How's it going Kara?" Harry projected telepathically towards his lover.
"Fantastic," Kara replied in kind as she piloted the enhanced starship with a wide grin.
Harry had been showing her how to pilot Haven after he had made it so she could manipulate the flight interface.
"We've got this covered," Gina added from where she worked the weapons controls.
Just then Galactica appeared high in the atmosphere with a flash of light signaling an FTL jump. Galactica began to plummet towards the ground with a plasma halo forming as it superheated. Harry knew this was part of the plan but was still nervous. He got ready to trigger the runic device he had spent the past three hours constructing. It was a small disc in the palm of his hand. If Harry threw the disc while magically activating it the device would expand and release a tornado of arcane energy which should in theory arrest Galactica's fall and lower the starship to the ground. But there was a difference between theory and practice. Harry watched anxiously as not far from the ground the vipers launched out of Galactica before the battlestar once more jumped to FTL. Harry let out a sigh of relief and put the runic battlestar catcher back in his pocket. He wouldn't need to test out his device yet. Harry returned to saving lives unsure if he was relieved by this fact or saddened he wouldn't get to put his work to use.

In Orbit of New Caprica
"All divisions make damage report to combat. Main batteries report weapons status," Helo orders.
"Dradis," Bill calls as he wraps his injured hand with a cloth bandage.
The decoy battlestars had worked for a short time which was enough to give Galactica a chance to destroy a cylon base-ship. But the minor victory was not without cost. Galactica had taken quite a bit of damage. The cylons had fired on the decoy ships. But it quickly became apparent that the return fire of the holographic illusions had no effect on the base-ships.
"Back online," Captain Kelly responded from the Dradis station. "More cylon base-ships are coming out of the nebula. I count two."
"Just as we expected," Helo said. "Cylon raiders are still scattered to hell and gone. They're coming after us without fire cover. If we can draw the two base-ships away from the planet the colonists might be able to escape."
"Hang on," Kelly said. "Two more base-ships just jumped into orbit. We've got four base-ships out there," He said with a grim tone.
"We can't hold off four," Bill said just as grimly.
Bill hoped that the four new base-ships hadn't detected the fact that the decoys were fake.

A Short While Later
Bill's hope had proven true allowing Galactica to take out one more base-ship. But Galactica was still outnumbered 3 to 1.
"Pass up the cord," Bill ordered a technician lower down in the ring of tiers that made up the outer walls of the CIC room as they struggled to reroute controls from damaged consoles. "Connect the other side right away."
"We've lost maneuvering thrusters," Captain Kelly reported while talking into a hand-set.
"We can't take any more hits to port or we're looking at explosive decompression to sections 35 through 40," Helo added.
"Jump drives," Bill said, prompting for a status report.
Helo shook his head in the negative. Galactica was then rocked hard by a powerful explosion throwing Bill to the deck. Bill climbed back to his feet looking wildly around. Then he calmed down as he realized they weren't going to get out of this.
"Then that's it," Bill said. "It's been an honor," He added while looking around at those surrounding him. To himself he added, "LoK…if you're watching we could really use your help right about now. These people don't deserve to die."
"Sir," Captain Kelly said in confusion but then didn't continue because he wasn't sure what he was seeing.
"What is it Captain?" Bill prompted.
"Sir…I think the illusionary battlestars are actually damaging the base-ships. And…another Pegasus just appeared on Dradis," Kelly reported.
As if to confirm Kelly's report, Lee's voice came over the radio saying, "Galactica, this is Pegasus. Let us take some of this work off of your hand."
As those onboard Galactica watched, Pegasus destroyed a base-ship. Meanwhile the illusionary battlestars were delivering a beating to the remaining two base-ships with Galactica occasionally throwing something at the two base-ships. Pegasus joined in and together the Colonial forces made short work of the cylons. After the fighting ended the illusionary battlestars disappeared and Haven appeared on sensors.
"Damn but you guys are a sight for tired eyes," Kara said over the radio.
"Kara was that your doing?" Bill asked over the radio.
"With a little help from LoK and this amazing ship, yes," Kara said. "We've got a lot of catching up Sir."
"I look forward to it," Bill said with a grin. "Status of the colonists," Bill prompted Kelly.
"The last of them are taking off now Sir," Kelly reported.
"Good, good," Bill said. "Let's stand watch."
"Yes Sir," Helo ordered with a relieved tone.
Everyone was relieved. Things hadn't gone exactly according to plan. But they had survived.

Galactica, Hangar Bay
"Adama, Adama, Adama," Cheered a small crowd of Colonial refugees which was currently leaving their transport ships.
About half a dozen ships newly taken off from New Caprica had to be vacated while the ships underwent repair. The repairs couldn't have been made while under cylon occupation without the cylons taking notice.
"Bill deserves this," Grace said from where she was standing beside the small transport ship which had taken them to Galactica from Haven.
"He does," Kara agreed. "And it feels amazing to be back," She said as she stepped onto the deck.
The celebrating crowd hoisted Bill Adama up into the air. Harry noted the still quite devastated Saul Tigh walking away from where Saul had just spoken to Bill before the celebration. Harry strode over to Saul.
"I think it's about time that eye patch came off Colonel," Harry said as he stopped before Saul and waved his hand, causing the illusionary patch to dissipate.
Saul just nodded unable to really form even a thank you with how much she was suffering inside. Harry considered right then revealing that Ellen wasn't dead. But the insurgency was still very much alive. The other insurgents would demand Ellen's death. If Harry told Saul, Harry knew that Saul wouldn't be able to help but reveal something was amiss. Harry just let Saul keep on walking. He felt Kara and Grace come up beside him. Kara wrapped her arm around his waist. Grace encircled her right arm with his left arm.
"I wish we knew how to help him," Kara said.
"Time is the only thing that will help him," Grace said. "Give it time and he will eventually learn the truth, after things have died down."
Grace could see that in the future.

Elsewhere on Galactica
Tory led Maya into an empty cargo bay where two people waited. Helo and Sharon both only had eyes for Hera as Maya carried her in. Maya had only been told about this entire situation in the last few hours. She still wasn't sure what she felt.
"Hera," Sharon said with a teary smile as she held out her hands for the little girl.
Maya reluctantly passed the little girl to Hera's rightful mother. The revelation that the little girl Maya had been caring for was half-cylon was startling. But only half as startling as the revelation that Hera's parents weren't dead like she had first been told.
The parents were paying rapt attention to Hera who was pondering them curiously. Hera seem to recognize her mother though.
"I'm sorry," Maya said. "I…I didn't know. They told me you were dead."
Helo and Sharon looked up from Hera at that and looked at Maya. Their faces were neutral. Helo glanced at Sharon waiting for her to take the lead on this one. It was Sharon more than anyone that had been hurt by this.
"I've heard it can be hard to find someone to babysit…someone trustworthy at least. Would you like to come and stay with us?" Sharon invited.
Maya glanced towards Helo and knew there was more being offered here than a place to stay and the opportunity to continue looking after Hera in some capacity. Ever since the male to female ratio among the Colonials had become drastically skewed in favor of men Maya had propositioned similarly several times. But because of Hera, Maya had resisted. But here was a situation where she didn't have to resist. Nothing had to happen right away if she didn't want it to. But she was interested.
"I'd like that," Maya agreed.
The three adults and little girl left the room leaving behind a pleased Tory. She left to go find her boyfriend to tell him the good news.

110 Weeks after Joining the Fleet, Colonial One
"So Mr. President, how long until the new Quorum of Twelve can be sworn in?" Laura asked Tom Zarek.
"Three days. I will personally place your name in nomination as my Vice President. Once they confirm you, I submit my resignation and you get sworn in. The whole thing should take less than an hour," Zarek explained.
"Ok…if you're stepping down without a fight that means you want something. Please put your cards on the table so I can see if that is a price I'm willing to pay," Laura suggested.
"Look…we both know that Adama and Potter will never support my presidency. They back you," Zarek pointed out. "I have no illusions about this reality. My only desire is to be included in the new government. I'm tired of being on the outside looking in."
"You stood up to Baltar on New Caprica when things got bad," Laura mused. "I think you would make a fine Vice President."
Tom nodded with a smile and the two shook on it.

Harry's Office Onboard Galactica
Harry had been given an office onboard the battlestar so that he could deal with fleet related matters without being bothered on his home ship of Haven. He was rarely actually in the office unless someone entered. When someone entered the office the wards Harry had put in place notified him and he could apparate into a back section out of view of the door. Harry had expanded the interior to be larger for convenience's sake. Nobody had noticed that feature yet.
"Hello," Galen called as he entered the office after knocking.
"Chief," Harry greeted as he stepped out from behind a stack of items he kept in the back of his office to block the view of others from seeing him when he apparated in. "Have a seat," Harry invited while gesturing towards a chair in front of his desk. "What brings you my way?"
Galen sat down in the chair and looked around the office having never been there before. Galen had been told that Harry was a good person to talk to about tricky situations. And Harry was the fleet's direct interface to LoK.
"I was wondering…are you aware of what is going on right now in regards to…," Galen trailed off, uncomfortable broaching the subject.
Galen glanced around again.
"In regards to the Collaborators," Harry finished for Galen.
Galen looked back at Harry with surprise and a bit of relief.
"So you do know," Galen said. "Does LoK know?"
"LoK is getting rather annoyed having to catch everyone your little council is spacing out the airlocks," Harry replied which caused another shocked expression from the Chief.
"He's saving them…saving them all?" Galen asked hesitantly.
Spacing Jammer for collaborating with the cylons as a member of the New Caprica Police force had been one of the hardest things Galen had ever had to do. Galen had worked with Jammer for years. And it had been Jammer that had freed Cally from the firing squad. The Circle authorized by President Zarek to try, sentence, and execute collaborators in secret just didn't feel right anymore. Galen's anger had turned to uncertainty and discomfort.
"Yes Chief…just like he saved everyone the NCP and Cylons supposedly killed on New Caprica," Harry revealed.
Harry was honestly enjoying how varied the expressions of shock and surprise were upon the face of Galactica's Chief Mechanic.
"They're all alive? But where? Why hasn't he brought them back?" Galen asked.
"The situation is still very volatile. LoK is waiting for Roslin to regain her presidency to better deal with the situation. Look at Zarek's method of dealing with the problem. He's executing all of the suspected collaborators," Harry pointed out. "Zarek is an interesting fellow but he really isn't suited for this situation."
"Why are you revealing this to me? And why is LoK saving everybody?" Galen asked.
Harry didn't answer right away. He thought about his responses.
"I'm revealing this to you because I know you can keep it to yourself. I also know this is bothering you greatly. Your Circle hasn't killed anybody. Really what it is doing is an exercise in futility. Those people that collaborated mostly did it because they faced some really hard situations and thought they could make things better," Harry explained. "LoK has seen so much death and destruction in his existence. He's frankly tired of it. There aren't enough humans left for us to be killing one another. LoK is trying to preserve life."
Galen absorbed that information for a while. His mind became lost in his thoughts for a few minutes but then looked up and realized he was taking up Harry's time.
"Thank you for talking with me about this," Galen said as he stood.
Harry stood as well and replied, "No problem Chief. It will all work out."
Harry saw Galen out and walked back over to his desk. He waved his right hand over his desk and a clear polymer case became visible. Harry sat down behind the desk and channeled his power into his hands. Harry's hands passed through the polymer which sealed the scroll within off from the surrounding atmosphere. The interior of the case was layered with preservation charms. Harry began manipulating the threads of magic which were enchantments upon the scroll. This was one of the scrolls uncovered from the Tomb of Athena. It was one of Harry's projects to try to layer a complex translation charm he had come up with into the enchantments on the scrolls. But the work was slow going. If Harry was too forceful with the layering the scrolls would disintegrate. But he would get there eventually. Harry's curiosity wouldn't be satisfied until he found out what was on the scrolls. Harry was hopeful he would find clues about how to find the home he had left behind. Although he had made a new home here…he wouldn't mind being able to visit people and places from his old home. Hermione was a particular goal.

Bill Adama's Office
"Welcome back," Bill said to Kendra as she took a seat across from him at the council table next to Harry.
"How was the time off?" Laura asked.
"Very much needed and relaxing," Kendra said as she reached under the table and squeezed Harry's thigh.
It had been decided to start implementing a vacation rotation one week out of every three months in the fleet to decompress and one day per week otherwise. Some of the kinks still needed working out but so far it was working. Last week had been Kendra's week off among the Colonial leadership. It was Lee's time off this week.
"I'll bet," Helena said from down the table with a knowing glance at Harry.
Helena had completely taken a back-seat role in Colonial leadership. She was an advisor now but mostly stayed onboard Resurgence.
"So what is the deal with this rash of missing persons cases that are suddenly cropping up?" Kendra asked, turning the meeting back to its original purpose.
"How many people do we know have gone missing?" Bill asked.
"Thirteen as of today based on the reports I have heard," Helena answered.
"Do you think this is anything cylon-related?" Bill asked Grace.
Grace and Sharon took turns rotating on the council in a purely consultant fashion regarding any possible cylon matters.
"I don't think so," Grace said. "But then I can't be certain. I just don't see any purpose for it. Is there anything common about the missing persons?"
"That needs to be investigated. I'll talk to the president about setting up an investigative force with joint military and civilian members," Bill said.
"Where is Zarek?" Kendra asked looking around.
"He and Laura are talking things over," Bill answered. "Frankly I would rather wait until she is back in power."
"I can't blame you there," Helena admitted. "Zarek may have changed by all accounts during his time on New Caprica. He still isn't someone I fully trust though."
This was a sentiment shared by all. With that the meeting moved on to discussing other matters.

Cylon Basestar
"How did it go?" Gaius asked as his girlfriend stormed back into the room in a frustrated looking mood.
Gaius had been sitting on the bed reading a book which he had set aside when she walked back in. Caprica-Six walked straight over and sat down in his lap sideways with her legs hanging off of the bed. She just hugged him and he hugged her back.
"That good huh?" Gaius said.
"They are all idiots," Caprica-Six declared half a minute later when she was finally ready to speak. "They refuse to believe LoK resurrected you or that it is even possible to resurrect a human."
"What do they think happened? I mean…I was shot dead," Gaius pointed out.
"They think LoK did something with an illusion to make it look like you were shot dead," Caprica-Six explained.
"Ok…I suppose that is actually plausible given what LoK's abilities are known to be," Gaius pointed out.
"Especially given how the cylons got their asses handed to them in the battle for New Caprica thanks in part to illusions," Caprica-Six said.
Caprica-Six was feeling a lot less forgiving of her cylon brethren given how she and Gaius had been treated of late.
"So they can run some blood tests and see this body isn't that old," Gaius suggested. "Even though it shouldn't matter."
"Oh it matters. LoK's powers alarm them and are making them rethink a lot of things. If he's capable of resurrecting humans then the whole game changes. And the blood tests are something I suggested as well. I think they will do them," Caprica-Six said. "Now just hold me. I want to relax after that trying meeting.
Gaius had no problem with that.

"Do you care to explain this Zarek?" Bill demanded as he held up a piece of paper with Zarek's orders written on it.
"Everything in that document is legal. There is a signed executive order on file authorizing a secret jury of six men and women to try, sentence, and execute people guilty of extraordinary crimes while collaborating with the enemy in a time of war," Zarek said. "There's also a death warrant with my signature for every conviction."
"Your presidency is a joke and is over right now," Bill stated calmly.
"So they have a jury. But where are their lawyers?" Laura questioned.
"They don't get lawyers. They don't get to blame the system or showboat for weeks on end. They don't get to become martyrs. They just disappear," Zarek explained. "You'll come into office clean without their blood on your hands, Laura."
Laura looked sickened by this response.
"This isn't legal," Laura replied. "Everyone is entitled to a trial by representation."
"If these cases go to trial it will consume this fleet for months, perhaps even years. People will be lining up to testify against their neighbors. It will be a zoo. You'll be signing death warrants almost every day. Do you want to spend your next term as executioner-in-chief?" Zarek questioned.
"Perhaps there is another way. Put a stop to these now," Laura said to Bill.
"Oh I intend to," Bill agreed.

Colonial One, Later
Harry watched as Laura was once more sworn into office by the priestess Elosha.
"Thank you. Thank you all for once again trusting me with this high office of civil service. Today is a new beginning for all of us. We share a unique destiny. Our future is ours to shape. Our past cannot be forgotten. Originally I had planned on forming a special prosecutor's office charged with investigating acts of collaboration with the enemy. But I have changed my mind. A different gesture is called for. All of us as humans feel the need for justice and for vengeance. It can be very difficult to tell the difference between the two. We are all victims of the cylons so none of us can judge with impartiality. So because of this I am forming a commission on truth and reconciliation. This commission will hear our stories and record them for posterity. There will be no prosecutions. I am issuing a general pardon for every human being on this fleet," Laura announced as her words were broadcast over the fleet news agencies.
Muttering broke out among those there and in the fleet.
"I understand this move won't be popular," Laura said. "But I truly believe that this is the only way for us to move forward without harming ourselves."
Harry stepped forward then and all eyes turned towards him. Laura even looked at Harry with surprise.
"LoK supports the President in this. In that spirit he returns to the fleet everyone thought dead on New Caprica," Harry said.
Even upon Colonial One several people LoK had saved materialized.
"It's a miracle. Praised by the gods…praised be LoK," Elosha said.
Bill began to clap and the reporters soon followed. Even Laura clapped. Truthfully she was also relieved to have the backing of LoK.

111 Weeks after Joining the Fleet
Harry materialized onboard the cylon base-star which Grace had said was designated CB-S 35. When Harry turned his head and body to look in multiple directions a shimmering energy barrier seemed to play over the surface of his face. Harry's clothes were enhanced with his arcane power while his head was encompassed in a shield meant to protect him from any nasty surprises. Grace, Kara, and Gina materialized thirty seconds later via a portkey. Harry had pre-set the program to drop off the ladies thirty seconds after Harry had apparated to CB-S 35. The portkey would not activate if Harry had sent a signal back to the portkey. Grace had argued for her to be sent over first because it was easier for her to be downloaded to a new body if anything went wrong. Grace had lost the argument.
"I don't hear anything," Grace said while appearing to be concentrating with her above-human sense of hearing.
"Me either," Gina added.
"And I don't sense anything immediately dangerous to us," Harry said.
The group began moving towards the main control room for the CB-S 35. It didn't take them long to get there. When they reached the control room there were a group of human model cylons lying in a circle on the floor.
"What's wrong with them?" Kara asked as she moved closer.
Grace also moved closer while Gina went over to interface with the intention of connecting to the ship to find out what was wrong. Grace had informed Harry about the cylons sending CB-S 35 to the Lion's Head Nebula in search of information on Earth (Gaius had given the cylons the hint to go there). But CB-S 35 had gone silent with something wrong. The cylons had been spooked enough not to send another base-star.
"Wait," Grace called out as Gina was about to interface with the console.
Gina looked back at Grace curiously as Grace knelt next to the barely breathing group of cylons on the floor.
"Infection," An Eight wheezed from the floor to Grace.
"There is some kind of disease here that can infect cylons," Grace warned. "I can see that from the way their bodies are trying to fight the infection off."
"Are we at risk?" Kara asked.
"No. I designed our protections with disease in mind," Harry assured his lover. "I think I know a charm that might help," Harry said as he stepped over to the infected model eight on the ground. Harry passed his hand over the cylon casting a diagnostic charm he had learned during his healing training. The eight glowed green. "It's ok. Whatever she has…she is no longer contagious."
"What about the console?" Gina asked.
Harry stepped over and cast the diagnostic charm on the console.
"That is safe to use too," Harry said.
"It must grow less transmittable over time," Grace suggested.
"Whatever the case let's get the frack out of here soon. This place gives me the creeps," Kara declared while looking around uneasily.
"If we can salvage this ship…it might come in handy in the future," Harry suggested.
"I'm already trying to detect what is wrong with it," Gina suggested. A few moments later she said, "The power regulators are infected with this disease. Another half hour and this place could explode."
"I can try to purge the regulators with my power," Harry suggested.
"It's worth a shot," Grace agreed. "I'll show you where."
Harry's efforts were worth it.

120 Weeks after Joining the Fleet
Harry finished typing out the final sequence on the stasis chamber's control sequence and watched as D'Anna was slowly brought into consciousness. The cylon's stasis chamber was specifically attuned to cylon physiology and was what the cylons referred to when it was talked about boxing a cylon. D'Anna's entire model had been boxed at the direction of the Cavil model. Cavil had gone to these lengths because of D'Anna's attempts to discover the identities of the Final Five cylon models. D'Anna had succeeded but not without cost. Her eyes were no a white opaque as she stared off with a dazed expression. Harry walked over to her and waited for a reaction from her.
"I see," D'Anna whispered. "I finally see."
"You see too much," Harry said as he gestured with his right hand towards D'Anna and sent out his arcane power bent to his will.
It took several minutes for the spell to work upon D'Anna. The method she had used to gain the identities of the final five had otherworldly connotations. She had repeatedly subjected herself to resurrection. While there was nothing overtly mystical about the cylon method of resurrection there was power in the essence of a cylon that got transferred between bodies. This essence, what some might call the cylon soul, picked up things as it traversed vast distances from the point of death to the resurrection ship.
"What happened?" D'Anna asked as her eyes cleared and she slowly sat up.
D'Anna looked down at herself and noticed she was naked before glancing back up at the man she recognized as Harry Potter. She was the same one that had encountered him during her time as a reporter in the Colonial fleet. She had since returned to the cylon fleet.
"You saw too much beyond the abyss and nearly went mad. I brought you back," Harry explained.
"I saw the Final Five," D'Anna said with realization.
"You did," Harry confirmed.
"Why did you help me?" D'Anna asked while noticing several other stasis chambers nearby filled with other copies of her model.
"I helped you because we have interacted in the past, you and I. I helped you because at the time I was attracted to you. I haven't helped the rest of your model," Harry put forth.
"What is it you want from me?" D'Anna asked curiously.
"Get to know me," Harry suggested as he held out his hand.
"Like in a date?" D'Anna clarified while she climbed to her feet still quite naked.
"Let's start there," Harry suggested.
D'Anna thought about it. She could no longer remember the identities of the Final Five which she had sought to learn for so long. But this new mystery of Harry Potter was also something she had been curious about. Maybe this new opportunity Harry was presenting her with would help her figure him out. Besides, she had nothing to lose.
"I would like that," D'Anna agreed as she stepped out of the stasis unit.
"As much as I wouldn't mind you staying naked we had better get you some clothes," Harry suggested. "At least for now," He thought to himself.

Author's Note 2
If you want to access the erotic versions of any of my stories follow the following instructions:
1) Go to Facebook and join the group Stargatesg1fan1's Fanfiction Works and Favorites (make sure you answer the security question)
2) Go to the Announcements section of the group. You will find a link in one of the posts to a Google drive folder. Inside that folder are copies of all of my stories (the smutty versions).
Note: If you create a new Facebook account it has to be with a legitimate name. I won't add anyone to the group that looks suspicious (it has to be a real person's name). For example, using the name "Lazy Lazy" is not a legitimate name.
I have chosen to move the erotic versions of my story to a less accessible forum which can be more closely controlled. If you cannot accept that then you don't need to be reading my stories. For those who can accept it, enjoy.
Enjoy,
