Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about My hero Academia. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own My Hero Academia. Shonen Jump, Kohei Horikoshi and a few others do.

There was almost no end of villains. No end to the groups that seemed to want to want to drag down the peaceful society that had risen from the birth of All Might.

But for every villain? There was an equal hero ready to challenge them. An equal defender to ensure they didn't hurt someone, that they failed over and over at the moment.

One of these heroes was called Volt. Named because of his quirk to be able to manipulate electricity within his body. It allowed him to do things such as create shocks like blades or swords from his body or armor… Still? It did have its own problems… Like his lack of control with it and the one downside that he understood better than anything.

It still didn't stop him from trying to fight the good fight… In spite of how well it tended to either work or such. Currently? He was busy fighting a group of muggers. He had fried their guns, cooking the bullets and shredding their guns.

However? One of them seemed to have a quirk that allowed him to telekinetically throw things…

Volt dodged to the side, a dumpster smashing into the brick wall behind him. He hummed and looked out from the car he perched atop, looking down at the trio.

"Stand still!" The thug said flicking his hand to the side to throw the car aside.

He then realized said car was his own, electing a screech of rage as Volt backflipped onto said dumpster. He unleashed a blast of electricity which caused the man to hold his hand as shocks burned his hand. Volt grunted and grabbed at his arm, pain dancing through the limb as he grunted in pain.

His quirk picked a HORRIBLE time to act up and cause him issues, a horrible time to start to pester him and play havoc on his body. He needed to finish this before more damage happened.

He turned to hum and threw himself forward, dodging the punch from one of the thugs only to throw the man into the wall. He turned to look at the other thugs as he prepared to launch another shock at him.

He shot another bolt as the thug brought up the car. The shock hit the gas tank, igniting the fuel within the vehicle and throwing both of them backwards. He crashed into the wall as the thugs flew backwards. He knew for a fact that things were serious. He cracked his fingers as his slowly tried to climb to his feet.

Pain wracked his body, drowning every single nerve within his body as he shook his head. He was still alive, he could still feel some remnant of pain on his body, knowing that his body still responded to his commands when it came down to it.

Volt shook his head with frustration as he looked at the thugs who were knocked out cold. He was glad that the explosion hadn't taken their very lives… He slowly climbed to his feet and looked at them with interest. This fight hadn't gone in their favor, yet they would have run… They should have run, any regular thugs that had fought a hero would have ran, it almost felt like they wanted a fight.

Yet now he was quite curious as he hummed and tapped on his chest. Someone or something had arranged this fight just for him, he believed… But who was manic enough to throw a bunch of criminals against the hero?

Volt turned and left the group for the police. He needed time to relax and… He hissed as more pain danced up and down his limb, the agony felt akin to being hit by a bomb… Still? He wouldn't relent from his mission to protect the city and all its inhabitants.

He turned to look over his shoulder. He could only question what happened to this city at the moment. He needed to know, and it was hurting him not to know at the moment. Volt hummed and vanished into the shadows as an insane giggle slowly settled over the city once more.

He shook in fear once more as he vanished.
