Sonic completed all four shrines in two hours. By the time he was done, he was sweating profusely. The same figure from before came to see him. "Sonic, there you are!" he exclaimed, panting. "What is it?" asked Sonic. WALL-E stopped to catch his breath before speaking. "Okay, you know how you've been hearing a female voice speaking to you?" Sonic nodded. "Well, that was Zelda, my daughter." Sonic gasped.
That's right. The voice you've been hearing is none other than Princess Zelda herself. She has been holding back the evil king, Ganondorf, who has turned into Calamity Ganon. The monster gets more powerful the longer she holds it back.
"So you see," said WALL-E. "Zelda needs your help to stop Calamity Ganon. She's doing her best, but her power may not be able to hold back the beast for long. Can you help her, Sonic?" Sonic considered this as he looked at the golden light in the distance. He really wanted to find Zelda and be her light too. "I'll do it," he said, boldly. "Wonderful!" said WALL-E. "Oh, but before you go, you need to find four champions to pilot the devine beasts."
"Devine beasts? Champions? What?" Sonic was confused. "Yes," said WALL-E. "The devine beasts are rocky animals with controls, built by the Sheikah a long time ago. The can be operated only by the four champions. Before you go help the princess, you must free the devine beasts which will give you extra power. Get it?"
"I think so," said Sonic. "But where can I find the four champions?"
"Go to Kakariko Village and ask Impa," said WALL-E. "She'll tell you where to look." Sonic looked around. "Oh wait!" said WALL-E. "The Great Plateau is actually on a cliff and Kakariko Village is down on the ground, so you need something to help you glide there safely." WALL-E presented him a paraglider. "With this paraglider, you'll be able to glide down safely." Sonic grinned as WALL-E handed him the paraglider. "Thanks, WALL-E," he said. Then, with a deep breath, Sonic jumped off the cliff and glided away.
