Sonic glided through the air with ease until he got to Kakariko Village. Then, Sonic gently landed on the ground and went inside one of the houses where he found a kind old woman with a guard's uniform. "Excuse me," he said. "Oh, hello," said the woman. "I'm Sonic the hedgehog," said the little hedgehog. "Are you Impa?"
"Yes I am," she said brightly. "I am Impa of the Sheikah. I am also one of the four champions."
"You are? Really?" asked Sonic. "Yes," replied Impa. "I pilot the devine beast Vah Medoh. You can find it somewhere west of Hyrule Field."
"Cool. Thanks, Impa," said Sonic. "But wait. Who are the other four champions?"
"Oh, there's Daniel, Scarlet Scorch and Katie," said Impa. "Okay. So could you go to Vah Medoh and pilot it so I can get some strength to fight Calamity Ganon?" asked Sonic. "Well, before I pilot the devine beast, you must free iit from the evil Ganondorf left there," said Impa. "Okay, thank you," said Sonic. He was about to leave when Impa stopped him. "Wait!" she said. Sonic paused. "What is it?" he asked. "I'd like to give you something," said Impa. "It's bound to help you in your journey." And she gave him a big metal shield. Luckily, it was a good fit. "Is that…?" breathed Sonic. "The Hylian shield," said Impa. "It can withstand fire attacks. I'm sure you'll need it later on."
"Well, thanks," said Sonic. "Good luck," said Impa. And with that, Sonic ran to the west of Hyrule Field to find the devine beast.
