Summary:
Gisele doesn't know if she should be in the room when Han wakes out, even if the others didn't seem so phased to see her alive and well.

Chapter 09: Gisele/Han

Gisele sees Roman and Ramsey first when she gets to the bunker, there injuries aren't as serious so they are up and moving.
Roman gives her the biggest hug and doesn't event act surprised at her resurrection.
Tej's ankle is sprained but Roman jokes it's only phantom pain from that other time it first happened, and Tej is shocked at seeing Gisele but perhaps not as much as he would be if it hadn't happened twice now to their crew.
Gisele tells them and Letty what happened after the airplane runway.
The rescue team found Han last so he was not awake from his treatment, and thankfully only sleeping.
She can't stop moving so she patrols the grounds as she waits for Han to wake up or updates for the plan moving ahead with Dante.
Gisele doesn't know if she should be in the room when Han wakes out, even if the others didn't seem so phased to see her alive and well.
But she had to be close to him so she stayed in the cot nearby.
She's finishing a late lunch when she's informed that he seems to be waking up.
"Hi," Gisele says after she enters the room.
She has butterflies but a sinking feeling all at once.
Han attempts to sit up but winces and lies back on the pillow.
"Is everyone else okay?" Han's voice comes out scratchy.
"They found Roman, Tej, and…Ramsey first so they're here too up and moving," Gisele answers, "And Letty came with me."
"Dom? Little B?"
"Nothing yet but they could be underground and we're going to assume so until then."
"You helped find me? Us?"
Han wanted to reach out and touch her to feel that this was real but he's afraid it's not.
"You were already here when I arrived," Gisele answers, softly still, almost professionally.
"I thought I heard you out there, saw you. If I didn't then…I feel hazy," Han says, pointing to the IV, "Whatever meds I have. If I haven't…with you…I faked my death…so after Letty and me, the funerals, I…want to believe. I had a laced muffin awhile ago…"
Han closes his eyes briefly not sure what he'd see when he reopens them but Gisele is still there.
She was so beautiful and he could feel his head clearing up as he got his bearings straight but it could only do so much, and as if she read his mind Gisele reaches for Han.
"I'm here," Gisele says as she takes his hand and kisses it, "It's me. I was here for your last round of meds, that's probably when you saw me and heard me."
Tears take over as they embrace, and then eventually kissing as their lips meet.
Han couldn't believe how real it felt, so real, so fiery, but sweet, and a warmth he hasn't felt in ages.
Gisele wants to feel everything then but also nothing but him on her lips, his scent in her nose, and his touch.
"I'm sorry, if you're with someone or in the middle of-this won't count, I don't expect it to," Gisele says after.
"I'm not," Han nods, not only sitting up but managing to get up too, "There's nobody else."
"I love you," Gisele whispers.
"I still love you too."
And then they are kissing again until they have to stop for air.
"Tess filled me in as much as she could about Tokyo with Mr. Nobody…" Gisele's voice is hushed and soft as she moves the hair from his eyes and then keeping her hand on his face, "I woke up from a coma, after the runway in Spain…"
"After Letty and myself, I figured—the Agency or another agency maybe—all I need to know is that you're okay and healthy," Han says, caressing the same hand on his face.
"I am. But all those years…" Gisele chokes out, "without you."
"You must have your reasons…we don't have to talk about that right now. Everything I've been through," Han says softly as he takes Gisele in his arms tighter now, "I know what's important. And it's you here now. I was afraid to ask when you first came in. I thought if this was just a dream or hallucinations then I don't want to spend that time talking about regrets. So tell me something else…"
"…I traveled here on a submarine from Antarctica," Gisele says truly calmer now, with a light chuckle.
"That's almost tame, the crew said they already dealt with one, I saw a fireball rolling through Rome. Tej and Roman went to space…" Han also manages to smile as he wipes away the last of Gisele's tears, but now of joy rather than just relief and sorrow.
There was a loud knock on the door then and Letty's voice.
"Tess finally made it."
"I'll be right out," Gisele shouts back.
"Back to work," Han sighs, but then determined, "If it's a meeting for the next step I'm ready."
"I think we're just going to touch base and see where we are."
"I'll get cleaned up and get some food, stretch my limbs."
Gisele doesn't want to let go yet but she knows she has to, finally loosening her grip but Han pulls her in for another kiss.
"I'm not losing you again," Han breathes giving a final kiss to her cheek.
"I'll be back with you as soon as I can," Gisele assures.

There are more chapters to come but-
At the moment this should be the conclusion to Version/Variation 01 to the continuation of Fast X and how Gisele got to where she was and hopefully another version will deal with a more definitive happy ending/resolution to Dante if I get there before the release of the Fast X part II or write something based on Fast X part II
-I decided when I published Chapters 6 and 7 that I'd leave Gisele's whereabouts a mystery and this would be the most basic/bare minimum version of things and another version/variation will be clearer about Gisele's whereabouts since F6
-like all the exposition/questions Cipher said in chapter 8 will be explored, such as a version where Gisele was in prison for 8 years or so or a combo of prison and not, or for plot reasons I'll make up that she had to stay dead
-I mean you can kind of get away with excuses of how Gisele survives, which I have Han say here that it was the Agency or another agency and the others not super shocked bc we are 3 fake deaths in; but I will try to make one more version where they are specific
