Duel of Fortune Cup Begins!
Somewhere in the city a golden D-Wheel was racing down the street "It's been two years since than" The D-Wheeler thought. The D-Wheeler then stop and the rider took off their helmet, the D-Wheeler was revealed to be Daisuke who had change the past two years. Her hair was a bit longer just past the shoulder, she wore a blue t-shirt, red jacket, white shorts, black leggings, black gloves and white and blue boots, her helmet was a golden color. She looked up in the sky "Aki where are you?" Daisuke asked herself, "Are you Daisuke Motomiya?" Someone inquires. Daisuke turned to where the voice came from and a short, effeminate man came out of the shadows. "Who are you?" She asked, "Ah yes pardon my rudeness, I'm the Vice-Director of Sector Security. My name is Yeager." Yeager introduction himself. Daisuke looked at him "O.k.? So what do want from me?" She asked. Yeager then took out an envelope "To give you this" He states as he handed the envelope to her. Daisuke takes the envelope and looked at it. It was an invitation for the Fortune Cup. "An invite for the Fortune Cup?" She looked at Yeager in confusion. "Yes you've chosen to participate in this year's Fortune Cup" He explains. Daisuke was about to asked why but he was gone "That was weird..." She mutters and then looked at the invite and thought "Maybe this could help me find Aki, since the Fortune Cup is a big tournament so if I take part in it I might find her" Daisuke said then look at her D-Wheel screen "I better get home and make both mine and V-mon's dinner" She states then started my D-Wheel and stared to go back to her and V-mon's home. After Aki's disappearance, Daisuke took a D-Wheel license test and got herself a D-Wheel. Daisuke wanted to go look for her but her parents had heard rumors about and forbid her to go on top of thing no one at school was even trying to look for her, so she left my home and stopped going to school, so now both Daisuke and V-mon lives in apartment and she got a part-time job as an Delivery girl.
A little while later on her way back home she heard an noise coming from her D-Wheel so she stop and check it out, and one of the Gyros was busted "Great and I don't have a spare one on me" Daisuke mutter. "Is everything alright?" She heard someone asks and turned around to see a young man with black hair with yellow highlights and a marker on his face standing behind her. Daisuke sense that he wasn't a bad person "Yea, my D-Wheel got a busted gyro and I haven't got another one at all" She explains Then the young man then kneel down next to me and looked at her D-Wheel "Hm? Maybe I can help with this, come with me" He states and then stood up and started to walk away. Daisuke then stood up and push her D-Wheel and started to follow him. A little while later we came to building "Now come inside" He said. So we went inside, their Daisuke saw a red D-Wheel parked there. "Now let's fix your D-Wheel shall we" The young man said, and so he worked on my runner. A few minutes later "Their all done, give it an try" He said, then Daisuke turn the handle on her "D-Wheel 'vroom' "It's fix! And it's even better than before!" Daisuke smiles. "Thank you…err" She wonders who the young man was. "I'm Yusei Fudo" The young introduction himself "I'm Daisuke Motomiya" Daisuke introduces herself. Then they both heard some footsteps and turn to the door to see three men enter, the first one was an old man, second one was an tall man with a wide, muscular build and the third one was unkempt appearance and sporting stubble. "Yusei I'm about to out now, huh? Who this?" The third man said. "Hello, my name is Daisuke Motomiya it's very nice to meet you" Daisuke said. "Well hello their Daisuke, I'm Tenzen Yanagi" the old man said Next "Hey there I'm Jin Himuro" The muscular guy said "I'm Saiga" The stubble guy said. "I'm counting you to see if my friends are alright" Yusei said to Saiga "You got it Yusei and good luck in the tournament" Saiga replied. Daisuke then looked at them "Tournament? Do you mean The Fortune Cup?" She asks them. Everyone then looked at her. "Yes, I was force to enter because if I don't my friends will pay the price" Yusei replies. "What's it to you anyways?" Himuro asks. "I'm also in the Fortune Cup" Daisuke answers as she pulled out the invitation. You're in the Fortune Cup?" Yanagi asks. Daisuke nods "But I'm doing for the same reason as you Yusei" She states. "What do you mean?" Yusei asks. "I'm looking for my friend of who disappeared two years ago and this tournament might help me find her" Daisuke answers. "I see" Yusei smiles. Daisuke then looked at the clock "Ah! I better get going!" She exclaims. "Thank you again for fixing my D-Wheel and see you at the Fortune Cup" Daisuke tells Yusei and hops on her D-Wheel sped out of the garage. A few hours later Daisuke return back to her apartment, parked her D-Wheel in the apartment's car park and took the elevator to the 3rd floor and enter her apartment "I home Vee sorry I'm late My D-Wheel broke down and...Huh Vee?" Daisuke walk into her apartment and saw a little blue dragon curled up on the sofa, fast asleep. She smiled at the sleeping dragon.
The next day, Daisuke was in The Memorial Circuit holding Chibimon in her arms "I do not act like that!" She her someone reminding someone else. "Oh, c'mon lighten up. I'll get it right, so don't worry about it!" Another voice reassures the first one. She turns and see Yusei, Yanagi, Himuro and three children. "Hey! Yusei!" Daisuke called out. Yusei then look up "Hey Daisuke you made it" He said. "Of course I'll be here!" Daisuke smiled "Hey Yusei who is this girl?" One of the children asked. Daisuke then looked at the children "It's nice to meet you, I'm Daisuke Motomiya" She introduces herself. "Oh hello, my name is Ruka" The girl with hat said. Hello I'm Tenpei Hayano" The child next to Ruka. "Hey there, I'm Rua! Ruka's twin brother" The child that looked like Ruka said. "Can I ask why are you dressed as an girl, Rua?" Daisuke asked "Oh I'm entering the Fortune Cup!"Rua said "And this acquires you to look like a girl?" Daisuke confuse. "Actually I was invited to participate in the Fortune Cup, Rua is taking my place because..." Ruka said. "You get nervous when you are dueling in front of large crowds?" Daisuke said. Ruka nodded to this. Daisuke looked down in her arm "Hey Ruka would you do me a favour? Could you look after this for me?" She asks as she showed Chibimon to her. Ruka looked at Chibimon "It's so cute! Of course I'll look after it" She said as she took Chibimon from Daisuke "Thanks Ruka" Daisuke smiles. "Now the, Yusei, Daisuke shall we depart?" Rua suggested. "Sure…" Yusei said. "Okay…" Daisuke said. As they departed for the ceremony "Rua, it's better if you drop the makeup" Yusei advises him. "I agree" Daisuke states. "Oh? Is that right?" Rua asks in a girly voice. Tenpei looked at Ruka who was giving an annoyed look. Yanagi smiles while Himuro stayed silent "Yusei. I'm positive that this Fortune Cup is some kind of setup. Keep sharp" He thinks.
The crowd cheers "Everybody, listen! The Duel of Fortune Cup is finally getting started!" The MC announces as Godwin takes a seat. The crowd cheers, and some cheerleaders was about to do a cheer when a big gust of wind stops them. The wind then turns into a tornado and Red Dragon Archfiend appeared from it. "Making its appearance is Red Dragon Archfiend!" MC announces. Red Dragon Archfiend flies around the stadium. Then a revving sound was heard "And, those noises from a Wheel I hear?" The MC announces. Then Jack came out of the tunnel and rode along the course with Red Dragon Archfiend. Red Dragon Archfiend then when in the center of the stadium and kneels down. Jack rode his Wheel of Fortune one bank on the side of the track before launching into the air and did a manoeuvre and lands in the center of the stadium. Jack takes off his helmet and looks at the audiences "Atlas-sama!" Some fan girls' cheers. Jack then points to the sky "There's only one King! That being me! Who dares to duel against me!?" He proclaims. "Duelists with the golden tickets, vieing for their dream match with the King! Front and center! Front and center" The MC announces and points down. The floor opens up and the contestants rise into the stadium. "Ooh! Here we go! Here we go! Whoa, it's Red Dragon Archfiend!" Rua exclaims. The contestants were in the center of the stadium. Jack then gave a glance at Yusei and Yusei did the same. The crowd cheers as images of the contestant were showed on the screen. But when it got to Yusei "Hey, there's someone with a Marker there!" A man notices. "Your right!" Another man said. "I'd rather them pick me than that guy!" A third man states. "Maybe he stole someone's invitation?" A forth man thoughts and such are spread among the crowd. Yusei's friends were uneasy. "Yusei…" Rua worried. "Pay it no mind" Yusei tells Rua. The cloaked guy tsks. The guy who was dress-up as a knight looked at the side. Godwin stayed silent. The MC was left speechless. A large man walks over to the MC and takes his microphone "Ladies and gentlemen in attendance!" He calls out and everyone stops talking. "My name is Bomber" Bomber introduces himself. "As a Duelist up here, I would like to ask exactly what it is you all see" He asks everyone. "This man is undoubtedly a Duelist, selected under the same conditions as we were!" Bomber said as he points to Yusei. "If one has cards, marker or no marker, they are the same as everyone else!" He states. "The people standing here now should be ashamed of nothing! Rather, it is all of you, looking at him through your trivial rose-colored glasses, who are no short of vicious!" Bomber assures the crowd. The crowd remains silent until Godwin applauds Bomber after which everyone follows. Bomber bows to Godwin and went back to the other contestants, returning the microphone to the MC "Oh, thanks" The MC said. Godwin gets up "Thank you for those empowering words, Bomber" He thanks Bomber. "The reason I provided an opportunity such was indeed for all the reasons you have spoken" Godwin states. "I am Rex Godwin, the man in charge of Neo Domino City Public Security Maintenance Bureau" He introduces himself. "And, I am the man who planned this grand Dueling festival in appreciation for the maintenance of daily public security" Godwin explains. "To Duelist, neither social status nor gap between rich and poor matter. True equality rests here" He reminds everyone. "Now, here are you match-ups for the first round!" The MC announces as the screens randomly pair up the players. Rua was put in the first Duel against Bomber "I'm in the first match! All right!" Rua cheers and then looks at Bomber. Bomber looks at Rua and then turns his head "Let's do this!" Rua think.
Godwin and Yeager are now in a box room "All preparations are in order. It is but a matter of time before all the Signers are gathered together" Yeager informs Godwin. Yeager then laughs and snaps his fingers and a screen appeared with a man with large shock of brown hair that style that resembled a blade of an axe. He has long bangs and wears amber-tinted glasses. "Goood moorning to you, sir! All preparations are in order here as well" The man reports. "That just leaves allowing them to duel at the maximum potential" He states. A machine was then showed. "Any response from Signers will go through the mighty Moomentumum" The man said. "And, here it is, sir! My mooost excellent work!" He exclaims as he spins. "I call it… "Sensing Through the D-Sensor"!" He announces pointing to his gizmo. "We will be able to apprehend a full account of a Signer's response, heightened by the dueling through the Sensors installed in the Stadium!" The man explains. "I will leave things up to you" Godwin tells the man as he gets up. "You can count on me, sir!" The man replies as Godwin and Yeager leaves and the screen turns off.
In the waiting room Rua was preparing for his Duel "Yusei, let's meet in the finals!" Rua tells him. "Sure" Yusei replies. "I remember what you said to me, Yusei. I won't Duel in any way that's selfish anymore!" Rua states. Yusei nods "If you trust your cards, they'll answer back" He advise Rua. "Mm-hmm! I'm off, then!" Rua states, and runs off. The man dress-up as a knight looks at Rua as he runs pass. "I don't think this match is going to be an easy one, Rua" Daisuke thinks as she watches Rua.
(I'm skipping the Duel) Daisuke was right Rua lost his match with Bomber. "So that's Bomber's skill huh?" Daisuke observed. "If this was just the first round, I wonder how the other matches are going to be…" She wonders.
