Return of the Witch, The Dragon of Destruction 'Black Rose Dragon'
The crowd continues to cheer for Bomber's victory. In the hallway Rua (who was dress in his own outfit) was bummed about his loss. "Oh, come on… You can't stay mopey forever just because you lost" Ruka (who was in her own outfit) cheers Rua up. "She right. You tried your hardest" Tenpai cheers up Rua. "Yeah, but…" Rua laments. As they approach Yusei and Daisuke "All you need to do is win your Duels later on. The experience you got from losing will always prove useful" Yusei tells Rua. "You can also think up some new combos and strategies" Daisuke points out. "Just make sure that you two don't lose, Yusei! Daisuke! We'll be cheering you two from the stands!" Rua encourages them. Just then a red-headed woman passes them. She glares intensely at Yusei as she passes. Daisuke got a nostalgia feeling as she went past. The other three quickly step out of her way. "What's the deal with her?" Rua wonders. Yusei continues to watch the girl. Ruka looked at Daisuke "You're alright? It looks like you seen a ghost" She wonders. ""Oh it's nothing" Daisuke reassures Ruka.
The knight was talking to Godwin and Yeager "What? That young maiden is a Signer, you say?" The knight surprised at the information that Yeager told him. Yeager snickers "Investigating that will be your job. We would appreciate it if you would act as our hound to corner that young miss and reveal her identity" He asks the knight. "I, Jill de Lancebow, known to others as the Iron-Blooded Knight, disdain completely form hounding down young maidens" Jill states. "And if I told you that same miss' secret persona is known as the Black Rose Witch?" Godwin tells Jill. "What? The Witch?" Jill's expression changes after hear this. "You are familiar, yes? About the masked woman who possesses dreadful power wreaking havoc in Duel Fields in the Daimon Area?" Yeager states holding some papers. "The power to make damage in Duels real?" Jill questions. Jill turns to the monitor showing the red hair woman walking through the hallway. "This Duel shall literally be a fight for one's life. If you plan on withdrawing, now is your chance" Yeager offers Jill. "Plan on what?! It is the duty of us knights to hunt down evil-doers!" Jill refuses to withdraw. He draws his sword "I implore you…to leave the slaying of that witch to me!" He pledges as he raise his sword. Jill then leaves.
The audiences cheers for the next match "Now, here comes our hero! He's the Virtuous Iron-Blooded Knight! The Battled-Hardened Hero! Just what kind of dueling will you show us all today!? Jill de Lancebow!" The MC introduces Jill as he appearances. Jill raises his sword "I swear upon my sword! As a blood descendant of the knights of old, shall win this Duel without fail!" He promises. The audience cheers loudly in support of Jill. "Jill de Lancebow has already declared his victory!" The MC declares. "He's pretty popular, huh?" Yanagi observes. "That guy's not easy on the stomach, acting like he's all righteous, but I hear his skills are something else" Himuro states. In the waiting room "That guy can't be serious" Daisuke comments "And, here comes the competitor for this Duel!" The MC announces as the spotlights shine one the opposite side of the field. Then the girl from before rises from the field "She's a mysterious and beautiful girl whose background and merits are unknown! Will we all witness the coming of a new wave of talent!? Aki Izayoi!" The MC introduces Aki. "Aki…is it really you?" Daisuke gasps. The audience begin to mutter amongst themselves. "I have a feeling I've seen her somewhere before" Rua thinks. "Yeah, we saw her earlier" Tenpei points out. "No, it's not that. I was somewhere else before…" Rua states. Ruka reacts to Aki's appearance. "What's wrong?" Rua asks. "Her deck seems like it's in pain…" Ruka said. "That's Aki Izayoi…The girl that Dai was looking for…" Chibimon thought. A mysterious cloaked figure smiles as he waits for the Duel to begin.
In the waiting room, Yusei and Daisuke watches through the screen. Both Duelists stares at each other "This maiden is the Black Rose Witch, is she?" Jill thought. Aki continues to glare at Jill. "I shall not spare you mercy, be you maiden or not! You will take view to the dueling of a knight!" Jill proclaims. "Duell!" Both Duelists declare, and a light shone from Aki's Duel Disk.
"It's my turn! Draw!" Jill declares. "I Summon Masked Knight LV3!" He states (ATK: 1500). Aki didn't react. "Next, I activate its Monster Effect! Persona Blast!" Jill declares and Masked Knight LV3 send a blast of white light that hits Aki, who doesn't even flinch. "That causes 400 points of damage! (Aki's LP: 3600) And now, I activate a Spell Card! Level Up!" Jill states. "It sends Masked Knight LV3 to the Cemetery to Special Summon Masked Knight LV5!" He explains (ATK: 2300). Aki still didn't react. "Next up is Masked Knight LV5's Monster Effect!" Jill states. "Persona Twin Blast!" He declares and a white and black light hits Aki, but she still didn't filch. "That causes 1000 points of damage!" Jill states (Aki's LP: 2600). Jill then looked at his Trap card, Sakuretsu Armor. "I place one card face-down to end my turn!" He states. "These persistent attacks have caused Izayoi take 1400 points of damage before even getting to her turn!" The MC proclaims. "Look at Jill go. He's been making a vicious onslaught from the start of this bout, hasn't he?" Yeager observes. "Given this, it is but a matter of time before the Witch's identity is revealed" He states. Godwin smiles and looks at Jack, who was sitting down behind them.
"It seems as though the ferociousness of my evolved Knight has pierced you to the bone" Jill assumes. Aki doesn't reply. "Keeping silent, are we? You are one eerie maiden" Jill comments. "Draw. I Summon Ivy of Wall in defense mode" Aki said (DEF: 1200). "A defender monster, huh?" Himuro observes. "She plans to stick to the defensive right off the bat" Tenpei though. Jill grins. "Next, the Spell card, Seed of Deception, from my hand" Aki said. "This allows a level two or lower Plant-Type monster in one's hand to be summoned" She explains. "I Special Summon the level one Tuner Monster, Copy Plant, in Defense Mode" Aki states (DEF: 0). "Copy Plant's Monster Effect—Copy Plant will share a similar level to a monster on my opponent's side of the field" She explains as she points to Masked Knight LV5. Copy Plant then turns into a plant version of Masked Knight LV5 "It's has copied Masked Knight LV5's level" Aki states (Copy Plant's LV: 5). Jill stares at the copied Masked Knight LV5. "But, what does she reckon to do just raisen' its level?" Yanagi wonders. "Isn't that obvious?" Rua and Tenpei states. Yanagi looks at the boy confuses. "Synchro Summoning, are you!?" Jill realizes. "I'm tuning my level five Copy Plant to my level two Wall of Ivy!" Aki declares. "Chilling flames engulf the world. Pitch-dark flower…Set into bloom! Synchro Summon! Appear now, Black Rose Dragon!" She chants. After Aki Summoned Black Rose Dragon Daisuke's arm start to hurt. "What's…this pain?" Daisuke wonders. She notices that Yusei was also in pain. "Yusei too?" Daisuke thought. A strong breeze flows around the crowd "What is this!?" Himuro surprised as well as the crowd. Black Rose Dragon the roars and more wind blows (ATK: 2400). "V-Vile witch! So, you have revealed your identity already, have you!?" Jill exclaims. "Witch?!" A woman asks. "I recognize that thing! That's the monster that masked witch uses!" A man recognizes Black Rose Dragon. Yeager snickers "She's shown herself already, it seems" He observes. Yusei was still in pain.
(Flashback)
Yusei remembers a massive dragon appears beyond the fog. The Witch appears in the fog. The Witch notices Yusei's birthmark "Wretched mark!" She yells and activates a card and blue flames surrounds her.

"Black Rose Dragon…" Yusei mutters. Bomber walks over to Yusei "It's a dragon of ill omen that bring forth destruction. It seems that you're familiar with it" He notes. Yusei didn't reply and continues to watch the match "Aki…" Daisuke whispers.
Black Rose Dragon roars. "It's the Witch!" A man exclaims. "The Black Rose Witch has shown herself!" Another man exclaims. "It's the Witch!" A third man yells. "The Witch is here!" A fourth man yells. "Witch, no matter what trump card you may play, my heart of steel will stand firm!" Jill declares. He smirks "I will uses my Sakuretsu Armor face-down on the field to hoist you by your own petard" Jill thinks. Aki stayed silent, and continues stare at Jill. "Why are you looking at me like that?" Jill questions. "I activate its Monster Effect. When I Special Summon Black Rose Dragon, it destroys all cards on the field" Aki states. "What!?" Jill shocked. "Black Rose Gale!" Aki declares, and a gale-force wind with black petals surrounds the area. "What's going on here!? Gale-force winds have engulfed the tournament grounds!" The MC exclaims as all the cards on the field were destroyed. As the wind dies down the petals vanishes. "Is his her witchly power?" Jill wonders. "I place one card face-down, and after that, the Field Spell, Black Garden" Aki states and briars start to surround the field "I-Is this…a beast-dwelling garden!?" Jill shocked as Black Garden was completed. "I end my turn" Aki states.
The audience were uneasy by the presence of the witch. "Watch out for the Witch's trap!" A man encourages Jill to be careful. "I appreciate your good will, but it needn't be necessary!" Jill tells the man. "My turn! Draw!" He declares and draws Martyr Flag, which he smiles at. "I activate the Spell card, The Warrior Returning Alive from my hand!" Jill declares. "This allows me to add a Warrior-type monster from my Cemetery into my hand!" He explains. He adds Masked Knight LV3 from the Cemetery. "Masked Knight LV3! Return to me! A proud knight never dies!" Jill declares (ATK: 1500). Then the briars wrapped around Masked Knight LV3. "Masked Knight!" Jill exclaims. "While Black Garden is face-up, all monsters attack power will be halved. And, a Rose Token will automatically be Special Summoned on the opponent's side of the field in Attack Mode" Aki explains. A Rose Token appeared "This is the Black Garden. A demon realm garden which flowers by using life as nourishment" Aki states as she pick a rose. "Oh, my! Now Masked Knight's Atack Power is outclassed by the Rose Token!" The MC states (Rose Token's ATK: 800) (Masked Knight LV3's ATK: 750). "But, even though she decreased its Attack Power, that does not change is Monster Effect. Your tricks were to no avail!" Jill thinks. "Persona Blast!" Jill yells and Masked Knight LV3 sends a blast of white light that hits Aki (Aki's LP: 2200). Jill smirks. "What say you now?" He asks. "I activate the Trap card, Doppelganger" Aki states. "Whenever I receive damage from a Monster Effect, it inflicts the same damage to my opponent as well" She explains as rose petals strikes Jill (Jill's LP: 3600). "Oh, my! Jill, who hasn't taken a hit so far, just took a drop in his Life Points!" The MC exclaims. Then a small scratch appeared on Jill's face. "A scratch!" Rua notices. "You're right! He was hurt!" Tenpei shocked. "Dueling wounded him?" Himuro confuses. "Scary~!" Yanagi scared. "You damn witch!" A man yells. "How dare she do that!" Another man furious. "Get out of here!" A third man shouts. Gill gives the scratch a few strokes "Tell me witch, who can inflict actual harm upon others with her powers…Exactly who are you!?" He dramatically demands Aki to reveal her true identity. "I'm not the same as any of you" Aki replies. "Witch, what are you scheming with that look in your eyes!" Jill questions. "I place two cards face-down and end my turn" He states.
"Draw. I activate the Equip Spell, Mark of the Rose" Aki states. "This allows me to gain control one of my opponent's monsters" She explains. "Bring his Masked Knight LV3 into my possession" She orders and a black rose mark appeared on Masked Knight LV3's head and it went to Aki's side. Aki smiles and held out her hand and Masked Knight LV3 takes it. "Well, I'll be. His monster went 'n backstabbed him!" Yanagi said. Jill was infuriated that Aki stole him monster. "Feel the pain from the blade of betrayal" Aki tells Jill. "Masked Knight LV3 attacks directly" She orders, and Masked Knight LV3 turned to Jill and Jill was surprised. Masked Knight LV3 takes out its sword and when to the attacks Jill, who blocks the attack with his Duel Disk, but was pushed back. "Making my monster's loyality wavers is indeed the insidious fighting style of a witch!" Jill annoyed (Jill's LP: 2850). Masked Knight LV3 went back to Aki "I equip the Equip Spell, Vengeful Servant, to Masked Knight LV3" Aki states, and Masked Knight LV3's eyes glowed purple. "When the equipped monster has switched control, this card inflicts damage to the player equal to its original attack power" She explains. "What did you say?" Jill inquires. "End Phase. Masked Knight goes back under your control" Aki states. Masked Knight LV3 then jumps up "Have a firsthand taste of that double-dealer's strike!" She tells Jill. "What!?" Jill exclaims as Masked Knight LV3 returns to his side, but as soon as it did, it turns to Jill, and Jill gasps. Masked Knight LV3 then attacked Jill, and Jill gave out a scream (Jill's LP: 1350). "Izayoi is ruthless! Her combo utilizing Mark of the Rose and Vengeful Servant has inflicted massive damage on our knight!" The MC exclaims. "I have yet to begun to fight! I activate the Trap card, Level Change!" Jill declares. "This card is activated at the End Phase of my opponent's turn" He states. "It sends a Level Monster on my side to the Cemetery to Special Summon the monster…written on the card, ignoring its Summoning Requirements, from the Cemetery!" Jill explains. "Be revived! Masked Knight LV5!" He declares (ATK: 2300). "This looks promising! His Special Summoning has dismantled her permanent combo!" The MC exclaims. "Black Garden activates" Aki said and briars wrapped around Masked Knight LV5 (Masked Knight LV5's ATK: 1150). "And now, a Rose Token will be Special Summoned" She says (ATK: 800). "I end my turn" Aki states.
"Witch, there is no use concealing yourself in your grim garden!" Jill states. "The blade of righteousness will pursue you, no matter where you are!" He proclaims. "Draw!" Jill declares. "And it's that my Masked Knight LV5 evolves to LV7!" He states. "That's right! Masked Knight LV5, using its Monster Effect, will level up to LV7 during the Standby Phase!" The MC comments. Masked Knight LV5 glows and breaks free from the briars. "Come forth, Masked Knight LV7!" Jill declares (ATK: 2900). As Masked Knight LV7 stands proud the audience gave a big cheer. "Black Garden activates" Aki said and briars wrapped around Masked Knight LV7 (Masked Knight LV7's ATK: 1450). "A Rose Token is Special Summoned" She states (ATK: 800). "Now it's clear. Rose Tokens can't be destroyed by way of battle" Bomber states. "So, her strategy is to hide herself in her grove and do nothing but guard, huh?" He guesses. "But, her opponent's attacks are sharp. Will she be able to completely dodge them?" Bomber wonders. "No…She's probably has something else in mind…" Daisuke thinks. Aki continues to stare. "By your eyes, you are considering counterattacking…with Doppelganger's effect once my monster's effect activated, correct?" Jill assumes. "However, I came prepared!" He states. "I equip the Equip Spell, Glory Shield, to Masked Knight LV7!" Jill declares. "A nice move" Himuro comments. "Neither Spell nor Trap cards can be activated in response to an attack from the monster equipped with Glory Shield" He states. "Plus, if it inflict Battle Damage, it can destroy one Spell or Trap on the field" Tenpai adds. "Battle! Masked Knight LV7 shall attack your Rose Token!" Jill declares. Masked Knight LV7 jumps up, but Aki wasn't worried. "Persona Big Slash!" Jill exclaims as Masked Knight Lv7 takes out its sword and attacks one of the Rose Tokens. "It's a hit! Masked Knight's attack finally explodes onto Izayoi!" The MC proclaims (Aki's LP: 1550). "Rose Tokens are null to being destroyed in battle, but Damage Calculations are still applied!" He states. "Glory Shield's effect will destroy Doppelganger!" Jill declares and Glory Shield glows and Doppelganger was destroyed. "Now you have run out of options!" He states. "Take this!" Jill proclaims, and Masked Knight LV7 jumps back. "Persona Big Blast!" Jill declares and Masked Knight sends out a blast of white, black and red light at Aki, and as it hit there was a big explosion. Jill smirks. The smoke cleared, but Aki still didn't filch (Aki's LP: 50). "Way to go!" The crowd cheers. "She only has 50 Life Points left! Izayoi is hanging in by the skin of her teeth!" The MC announces. "Plus, she only has three Rose Token on her field left on her field! She can't fight back now!" He points out. "It looks like this is over" Bomber states. "The match isn't over yet" Yusei points out. "Yeah, it's not over until the last card is played" Daisuke states. "So, you two are completely in her corner, it seems" Bomber states.
"Witch, this is the last turn for you! There is nowhere for you to flee!" Jill asserts. "Yes, on this turn…it all ends" Aki simply states. "What!?" Jill confuses. "Draw!" Aki said. "Do not falter! This is her witchly scheme" Jill thinks. "I have an overwhelming lead" He thought. "The Witch could possibly be after releasing her Rose Tokens for an Advance Summoning, and then use that monster to strike the Rose Token that appears on my field due to Black Garden's effect. Wouldn't that be the gist of it? Jill assumes. "However, the moment you do so will be your doom" He states. "For my face-down card is Martyr Flag" Jill notes. "If I activate this Card Masked Knight LV7's attack power will double!" He plans (Masked Knight LV7's ATK: 2900). "Come! I will hoist you by your own petard!" Jill declares. "The Field Spell, Black Garden's effect" Aki said and Black Garden starts to wither. "What's happening!?" Jill shocked. "By destroying this card along with all Plant-type monsters on the field…I'll Special Summon a monster with an attack power equal to their combined attack power from my Cemetery" Aki explains. "What was that!?" Jill exclaims. Bomber gasps. "She couldn't…!" Rua, Tenpai and Yanagi realize. Ruka gasps. "By destroying three Rose Tokens, their total attack power would be 2400! Which means, the monster she'll be summoning out will, of course, be…!" The MC announces, and then a purple light appeared. "Not that nightmare again!" A man scared. The light turns into a cyclone "I summon Black Rose Dragon!" Aki declares and the cyclone got fiercer and Black Rose Dragon was revived (ATK: 2400). "T-T-There it is! Black Rose Dragon!" The MC announces. "But the price is pretty hefty!" He points out. "Masked Knight LV7, free from Black Garden's spell, has had its attack power restored back to 2900!" The MC states as the briars falls off Masked Knight LV7 (Masked Knight LV7's ATK: 2900). "Black Rose Dragon's attack power is 2400. The odds are stacked against it" Himuro observes. "Why did you cast your Black Garden aside?" Jill baffle. "It is almost as of you are personally ruining your chances of winning!" He points out. "Vile witch, are you cornered so bad you've gone daft!?" Jill remarks. "He's telling the truth. I figure this match is over" Bomber concurs. "Yeah, with her winning" Yusei states. "Oh, yeah" Daisuke agrees. "What?" Bomber confuses.
Aki takes out Wall of Ivy from her Cemetery "Black Rose Dragon's Monster Effect— By removing all Plant-type monsters in my Cemetery, it will reduce your monster's attack power to 0" Aki explains, and a image of Wall of Ivy appeared and Black Rose Dragon chomps down on it. "Rose Restriction!" She declares and Black Rose Dragon wraps it's briars around Masked Knight LV7 (Masked Knight LV7's ATK: 0). "I-It's attack power is 0!?" Jill shocked. "Then, even if I do activate Martyr Flag and double its attack power, it will remain at 0!" He panics. "Battle" Aki said. "You, knight, who hoists such fabricated righteousness…Take the cold flames of sorrow upon your form" She tells Jill. "S-Stop! Please stop!" Jill screams in terror. "Black Rose Flare!" Aki declares and Black Rose Dragon attacks. "This is just as good as a direct attack!" The MC disclaims as the attack hits both Masked Knight LV7 and Jill. Everyone in the audience screams.
Godwin, Yeager and Jack just watch. Yeager chuckles "We were allowed to witness the power of a Psychic Duelist" He states. "Now then, what of our main issue?" Yeager inquires. Then a screen came on and Akutsu appeared. "R-Right, sir! Unfortunately, there was no response, sir…"Akutsu reports. Yeager looks at Godwin, who just kept look outside. "Is that so?" Godwin said. Jack didn't say anything and continues to grasps his arm. In the waiting room, both Yusei and Dasiuke also were grasping their arm. "Wretched mark, huh?" Yusei remembers Aki's words. "Huh?" Daisuke confuses. "What's wrong? Not feeling well?" Bomber concerns about the two. Back on the field, the smoke starts to clear and Jill collapses after losing (Jill's LP: 0). This frightens the audience, a woman scream in fear. "Run! This is no Duel!" A man yells. "Damned witch!" Another man yells. "Nab that witch!" A third man yells. Rua, Tenpai and Yanagi looks around in concerns, while Ruka, Chibimon and Himuro kept looking at the field. The cloaked figure smiles "Well done, Izayoi…But, you shouldn't let victory go to your head" He said. "Your battle has just begun, after all" The cloaked figure states. "Get out of here!" A man yells. "Get out of here, you witch!" Another man yells. "Hurry up and beat it!" A third man yells. "Get lost, you witch!" A forth man yells. "Scram!" A fifth man yells. "Get out of this city!" A sixth man yells.
