The Floating Rib

Dante walked into The Floating Rib to find Lulu, Kellie, Sage, Sam, Kristina, Molly, and Maxie all doing a shot. There appeared to be a toast and cheering. Jason, Max, Milo, Spinelli, Johnny O' Brien, and Lorenzo were circled around a pool table keeping an eye on the girls. Spinelli and Johnny O'Brien were playing at the pool table. Felicia, Mac, Kevin, and Robert were at a separate table.

"Hi handsome," Lulu said as Dante approached them.

"What could you all possibly be celebrating?" Dante asked.

"Didn't you hear?" Kristina replied, only loud enough for their immediate group to hear, "The world didn't end and all our loved ones kidnapped by Great Uncle Victor are coming home in one piece more or less."

"You're all civilians," Dante said, "You shouldn't know anything about the world possibly ending."

"I can't help it if my connections are better than yours," Kellie said, "if hypothetically I had been doing anything."

"We need music," Sage said, heading to the juke box.

"I'm coming with you," Maxie said, following her.

Mac looked back at Lorenzo and Jason, "I trust you will keep them in line."

"Maxie's in there too last I checked," Lorenzo said.

"I heard that," Kellie said at the same time, "And after I bought you a round of drinks."

"You did not buy us a round of drinks, Kellie," Mac said, "As much I appreciate the gesture, it's not a good look for members of the PCPD and local government to have their drinks bought by Kellie Corinthos-Morgan. I had it taken off your tab."

Kellie glared at him and turned back to Dante.

"Do not take that as a challenge," Dante said, noting Kellie's wheels were turning, "What exactly did you end up hypothetically doing?"

"That's classified," Kellie said.

Dante looked at Molly.

"Don't look at me," Molly said, "I was at work. I have no idea what they were doing all day. Kristina just told me I should meet her here for drinks."

Music blasted from the juke box.

"Come dance with me," Lulu said, grabbing Dante and dragging him to where they could dance.

Sage and Maxie had already started dancing.

"Another round," Kristina said.

"Shouldn't we wait a bit or get something to eat?" Molly asked.

"You can order food," Kristina said, heading to the bar, "I'll order more drinks."

"You should order food while you're at it," Molly said.

Lorenzo sighed and headed to bar to order the girls food and water to go with their drinks.

Kellie wandered over to Jason while Sam joined Sage and Maxie in their makeshift dance area.

Kellie wrapped her arms around Jason's neck.

"Hi," Kellie said.

"You look like you're feeling good," Jason asked, putting his hands on Kellie's waist.

Kellie laughed, "I think this pool table has your name and mine on it."

Kellie motioned to a pool table currently not in use.

"Are you sure about that?" Jason said, "Because it will have just my name on it after I beat you."

"You're awfully sure of yourself, Boy Toy," Kellie said.

"You are that cute, sexy, flirty drunk where you're very easily distracted," Jason whispered in her ear.

"I'm not easily distracted," Kellie replied, "I'll show you."

Kellie moved away from Jason and grabbed a pool cue, "Rack 'Em, Boy Toy."

Jason stepped back and racked the balls.

Kellie took her first shot and sunk one ball. She missed on her second shot.

Jason took the next shot while Kellie sat on the pool table next to him. He sunk two balls before intentionally missing.

"Watch and learn," Kellie said. Jason tried not laugh. Kellie lined up her shot and was about to take it when Jason learned over her and brushed against her, causing her to shoot sideways.

Jason kissed her neck and said, "Easily distracted."

"The two of you need to get a room," Kristina replied, loud enough for the whole bar to hear, "Or go home and play strip pool in your basement."

"We didn't need to know that," Scorpio yelled.

"Too bad they don't still have rooms in the back," Kellie said, having turned around to face Jason.

Kristina shoved a basket of fries at them and said, "Lorenzo got us all fries and burgers and water. I got us another round. You can make out with Jason when you get home."

Jason led Kellie back to the tables to join the rest of the group. At some point while everyone was eating, Dante stepped out to take a phone call. When he came back inside, Dante stood next to Lorenzo at the bar.

"Something I can do for you, Detective?" Lorenzo asked.

"We need to talk," Dante said, quietly, "I can't get into it here. Anna told me about something unexpected in Greenland."

Lorenzo followed Dante's gaze over to Kellie.

"Just stop by my place after this," Lorenzo said, "We can use my study for privacy."

"After I take Lulu home," Dante said and then headed back to Lulu.

"We should dance," Kellie said to Jason after finishing her meal, she stood up and almost stumbled. Jason caught her.

"I think it's time to go home," Jason said, "Another day."

Kellie pouted and then tried to move away from Jason, but almost stumbled again even though Jason still had a hold of her.

"We're going home," Jason said, picking Kellie up, as she protested, "Johnny, get the car."

Lorenzo started to round up Sam, Kristina, and Molly as Sage and Milo left.

"Maximista," Spinelli asked, "May I escort you home unless of course your parental unit prefers to escort you."

"Mac, Mom, Spinelli's giving me a ride," Maxie yelled as she dragged Spinelli out the door.
