Hetty and Granger were on a trip to give a speech at a grand opening.

'Okay, how is it that we both get to make a speech in the same place?' Hetty asked.

'Actually, I don't have to make a speech. I just wanted to come with you for support.' Granger replied.

'Well that's very nice of you.'

At the hotel

'Boy, that food was terrible!' Granger said.

'I know! Like, how did that person even learn how to cook?!' Hetty replied.

The next day

'Sir, can you check to see if Hetty is awake yet? She hates it when I wake her up.' Mark asked.

Granger went to check on her.

'Hetty? You awake?' He gently asked.

'Mmm. Yeah, just let me- um.' Then Hetty suddenly puked all over his shoes!

'Ohhh my!'

'I think I'll have to postpone that speech.' Hetty sheepishly replied.

Throughout the day, Granger took care of Hetty, namely because she didn't like it when Mark tried to be her nurse.

'He gets too nervous about making me feel worse. It makes me nervous!' Hetty quipped.

That evening

'Mmm! Smells like the soup you mom used to make.' Luke remarked.

'It was very good, and Hetty deserves the best.' Granger replied.

Hetty loved the soup.

'My mom used to make it for me when I wasn't feeling well.'

'Well, I'm very touched! And, I'm sorry for ruining your shoes.' Hetty replied.

'That's all right. I couldn't stand those things.'

'What?! Really?'

'I had 20 other pairs that looked like them, and I found ways to get rid of 19 of them. To be fair though, I didn't think of puking on them.'

Hetty chuckled. 'Anything else for me?'

'Yes. Just lie back and enjoy this lullaby that my mom used to sing to me when I also wasn't feeling well.' Granger replied.

Luke couldn't help but overhear their conversation from outside the door.

'Wow. He never brings up his mom like this, unless. He really likes this woman.' He pondered on.
