A few weeks had passed since the pirate thing. Hetty and Granger were on another short trip to another kingdom.

'I'm surprised they let you out of the castle with that sword.' Granger remarked.

'That's because I hid it. Plus, I think those advisors are secretly afraid of me challenging them to a duel now. (snickers).' Hetty replied.

'Wouldn't blame them.'

That night at the hotel, Granger was out getting water when a band of thugs walked in with swords.

'Listen up everyone! We want money and we want it now! Hand it over and no one gets hurt!' The leader demanded.

The customers who were there hurridly handed their money over, except Granger.

'Say, aren't you a prince of sorts?' 1 of the thugs asked.

'None of your business.' He replied.

'Well whatever. Hand over the dough.'

'I'm not carrying anything.'

'Sore sure, take your pockets inside out!'

'I'm not carrying anything.'

'Damn it you. Turn your pckets inside out, and hand over whatever you're carrying in them over now, or this person gets it in the chest!' The thug demanded, holding a hostage.

That's when 2 of the thugs groaned in the distance.

'What the?'

Then Hetty appeared holding her sword up to his neck.

'Let them go, or this will get ugly!' She demanded.

The thug laughed. 'You? That bitch who supposidly fought off pirates all by herself?! Give me a break. Our leader will make roughshod of you!'

'You mean the fool who I have tied up upstairs because he came into my bedroom? Yeah, real tough guy there!'

'I'd suggest you do as she says. I wouldn't want to mess with her.' Granger suggested.

'Shut up! You want to duel, little miss princess? Then let's duel!'

So they fought for a few minutes. And not only was Hetty's skills on stunning display, but she also caused the thug's pants to fall down!

It eventually took a little teamwork from Granger to catch the thug off guard. He wisely gave up after he was on the ground.

The police ca,e later to arrest the thugs. And when they asked how they were taken down, Hetty and Granger said 'It took teamwork, and a lot of determination.' The cop who asked didn't really know what to think after hearing that.

When the crime scene was cleared out, they packed to head home.

'You didn't have to do what you did. I could've done all of that.' Granger said.

'But?'

'But I'm glad you did. Otherwise, that could've ended a whole lot differently.'

Smiling. 'Thank you. We make a good team!'
