Birkdale Castle
'Going into Trentford again, sir? Luke asked when he saw Granger getting ready.
'Yes. Hetty is visiting orphans today, and I want to see her in action.' Granger replied, buttoning his coat.
'You and the princess seem to be hanging out a lot lately. Anything I should know about?'
'We're just friends, Luke. We've been through some things together, that's all.'
Luke wanted to 100% believe him, but he wasn't sure. Usually when Granger was into someone, he would spend more time with her then he normally would with a friend.
Trentford orphanage.
Granger watched Hetty play with the orphans, and read to them.
'She's real good with kids.' He said.
'She is indeed, sir. And the best part is, this isn't some kind of PR move, or arranged by her mom's advisors. This was entirely arranged by her.' Mark replied.
Granger was very impressed by that fact.
'Can you ask her to meet me at our usual meeting spot this evening after dinner?'
Evening at Lake Leanne.
'I was really impressed by how you acted with those orphans today. You're great with kids!' Granger proudly said.
'Thank you. I've always liked hanging out with kids. Mom once said it was because I'm as tall as one. (chuckles). Truth is, I like impulsively hanging out with them because I like my works of charity works to feel natural and not be labeled as a PR move or arranged by my mom's advisors, which is why I said a long time ago that any visit to the orphanage will be 100% arranged by me and no one else!' Hetty replied.
'Do you ever think of 1 day having your own kid?'
'Sometimes. If I did, I'd like it to be a boy.'
'I'd like a son too.' Granger responded.
Hetty smiled.
'You look like the type of person who'd make a great mother one day.'
(Blushing). 'Well, thank you! You'd make a pretty good father too.' Hetty warmly responded.
Granger felt all gooey inside hearing her say that.
'If the right woman says yes.' He thought.
