We find ourselves in a small house in the woods, where we see the saiyan warrior Son Goku sitting in front of a table, eating dinner.
After fighting Lord Beerus and defeating a revived Frieza, he was happy to finally relax and spend time with his family.
He was on his seventh bowl when a blue ring appeared in front of him.
"Son Goku of Earth, you have the ability to instill great hope. "Welcome to the Blue Lantern Corps," it said.
The ring then slid onto his finger, and he was covered in a bright light.
When the light receded, he was wearing a blue version of his GI with the blue lantern symbol on the back.
"Well, this is certainly weird," he said before disappearing in a blue light.
