Meanwhile, back on Earth, we see one Daffy Duck walking through Acme Park in a huff.
why? because he was once again outshined by his longtime rival Bugs Bunny, who had just gotten the acting role that he wanted.
"I can't believe that Rabbit got picked instead of me. That should have been me in that movie instead of him. Why does he get everything that should be rightfully mine?" Daffy said angrily.
suddenly, an orange glow caught his attention. He went to check it out only to find a strange orange-colored device lying on the ground.
"Where did this come from?" and why is it glowing orange?" He was confused when he suddenly heard a voice coming from the object.
"Daffy Duck of Earth, you want it all." "You belong to the orange lantern; you're mine!" It shouted.
An orange ring suddenly shot out of the object and onto his finger. He was then covered in a bright orange light.
When the light receded, he was now wearing an orange and black outfit with the ring symbol on his chest.
He looked out at Acme Acres and simply said, "Mine." before flying towards the city.
