Back with the Sinestro team, they continue their search for the energy source the Shredder said would help them crush their enemies.
"We have been searching this wasteland for hours, and so far we've found nothing!" Charming yelled out in frustration.
"Will you pipe down? Your yelling is hurting my ears." Jasper said it in annoyance.
"Well, excuse me for airing my grievances. Seriously, how does Shredder expect us to find this power source in a place like this?" he questioned.
"It doesn't matter; he wants us to find it, so we will. If you don't like it, then leave." Magica said.
Charming turned to her while crossing his arms.
"Well, pardon me, how do we know if this energy source even exists? "For all we know, Shredder could have gotten that signature wrong." Charming said, not noticing the Shredder behind him.
"Would you care to repeat yourself, Charming?" Shredder threatened, causing Charming to jump in surprise.
"Oh, Shredder, how long have you been standing there?" He questioned nervously.
"long enough to hear you questioning my orders." The Shredder replied, sounding less than pleased.
"Oh, well, I'm just saying that we've had no luck finding the power source. Are you sure that it's even in this wasteland?" he questioned.
"Yes, I am sure it is hidden here somewhere, and once we find it, no one will be able to stand in our way!" Shredder Declared.
"Hey, I found something!" Jasper suddenly called out.
The other Sinestros flew to her spot.
"What is it you found?" Magica questioned.
Jasper turned to them.
"You're going to want to see for yourselves," she said.
Her teammates did so and were shocked at what they saw.
"No way, it's a power battery just like ours!" Charming exclaimed.
"Yes, only it's colored black instead of yellow." Magica observed.
The shredder flew closer to the battery.
"Hmm, it's energy that matches the power signature I picked up," he said.
"So, wait, this is what we're looking for?" Charming questioned with an eyebrow raised.
Shredder looked toward him.
"Yes, it would seem so," he replied as he reached for the battery.
"Wait, don't touch it." Magica said, suddenly causing her teammates to turn to her.
"Oh, what is it now?" Charming whined.
"There's something about this battery—something dark and foreboding. I don't think that this is something we should be messing with." Magica explained with fear and worry in her voice.
"Are you kidding me? We now have the means of getting our revenge, and you want us to leave it alone." Jasper said in anger as she flew towards the Lantern.
"All I am saying is that we know nothing about this battery; we could be making a serious mistake." Magica reasoned while getting in between Jasper and the lantern.
"As long as I get my revenge on those Crystal runts, I don't care if it's a mistake." Jasper said before pushing Magica out of the way and reaching for the lantern.
"No way," but it was too late as Jasper grabbed the lantern.
As soon as Jasper's hand made contact, the lantern started to glow.
The four Sinestros backed away from the battery in shock.
"Wh-what's going on?" Charming exclaimed.
"I don't know!" Jasper was equally shocked as the lantern's glow intensified.
(Back in Acme Acres)
"Ahhh!" Cody suddenly shouted in pain as he kneeled to the ground while grasping his head.
"Cody, what's wrong?" Ash questioned, worried.
"I suddenly feel like I'm in a lot of pain!" Cody exclaimed.
He wasn't the only one; his fellow White Lanterns were also on the ground, clutching their heads in pain.
"What's going on? What's wrong with them?" Nala questioned in worry.
"I don't know; they were just fine a minute ago!" Spider-Man said, equally worried.
"Then what's causing them so much pain?" Michael questioned.
"I don't know, but it can't be good." Danny said this in concern.
(Back with the Sinestro's)
After an hour, the glow dimmed, allowing the four villains to see again.
"Is it over?" Charming questioned.
"I don't know," Magica said.
Jasper looked at where the lantern was.
"Wait, look!" Jasper said.
They looked at what she was pointing at, only to be shocked at what they're seeing: floating there were four black rings.
"Where did those rings come from?" Jasper questioned.
"They're the same color as the battery, so maybe they came from it." Magica replied.
Suddenly, the black rings flew up before scattering in different directions.
"Where are those rings going?" Jasper questioned.
Magica turned to her.
"I don't know, but I have a bad feeling that we have just unleashed a great darkness upon the galaxy," she said gravely.
