(Chapter 15: A Scorching Success)

Soon enough the tail-end of March would come for an excited Naruto who would be going on a new mission to eliminate one of Orochimaru's bases; with Danzo having stated that it was of importance due to the fact it dealt with the Fuma clan who'd recently joined under the serpent Sannin as part of his hidden village. As such to prevent Orochimaru from bolstering his forces further on top of making sure that he didn't have any further test subjects to experiment on, the shapeshifter was sent alongside Pakura to exterminate them and those who were within the base as well.

(Northern Land of Sound 4:34 Am, March 25th, 997 S.E)

It was early in the morning as Pakura who rode atop Mantabomber were quickly closing in on their target location at rapid speeds.

"How you holding' up there, Miss Pakura? Are you gonna be ok on our way to the location?" Mantabomber asked the Scorch Release user

"I won't lie when I say that this is a new experience...Never in my life would I imagine that I would have the chance to fly like an eagle. It honestly is a surreal experience." Pakura answered back as they soared through the night sky

"Glad you like it, Miss. Pakura it is a pretty cool thing to do." Mantabomber spoke in enjoying the freedom that came with the ability to fly

"However, I'm a bit…dizzy from flying for so long...As it turns out, I am not immune to feeling unwell from flying." Pakura told the Aerophibian as she felt herself a bit woozy to say the least

"Well, that should pass once we land…Sorry, there isn't anything I can do about the bit of air sickness." Mantabomber said in apology for the slight bit of vertigo she was experiencing

"It is quite alright…I'm just going to need a few moments once we do so." Pakura said back with a small unwelcome belch from her upset stomach as they continued on their path

'Please do not let her vomit all over me, the last thing I need is to clean throw-up off my back.' Mantabomber hoped to himself

From there not much else was said as they flew closer and closer towards their destination; that came clearer as they eventually dove downwards to see the guards patrolling the encampment where the Fuma clan and the underground base resided in…At least until Mantabomber had at blinding speeds unleashed a barrage of Neuroshock blasts that took their heads off with ease; leaving only smoking headless stumps that fell over in rapid succession one after the other.

Hence why after a minute and a half of sniping their targets from above, and doing another flyby of the perimeter to ensure no further guards were out and about in the March morning did Mantabomber land with Pakura. The Ultimatrix wielder then nodding to the Scorch Release user before turning into DashRaptor and taking out of his pack twin hatchets that had the edges serrated like saw-blades, before rushing off towards the base faster than any person could see.

So whilst the Ultimatrix wielder sped off to take care of those that lay within the underground base below, Pakura quickly went through hand-signs for a new jutsu she'd been working on during her recovery; as she eventually settled on the ram seal before an orb of brilliant crimson and white energy appeared in her hands. Which she had float into the air and with another hand-seal the orb soon split into multiple tennis-ball shaped orbs that glowed in the night like a swarm of fireflies, that with a mental command melted through the windows of each and every building; leaving nothing but molten slag in their wake.

All before she uttered Scorch Release: Grand Firefly Parade as the orbs that had flittered their way inside each building soon turned a blinding neon green before exploding with great force; to the point that each building had imploded upon themselves, and leaving smouldering and scorched husks where they once lay; that radiated plumes of black smoke. Yet within the heavily scorched buildings were the charred, mummified corpses of those that lay inside each building; not even aware of their demise as the immense heat scorched their flesh faster than a single thought could be formed, as their dried-out dessciated ashen husks lay inside their heat-scorched tombs.

Once Pakura had waited after a few minutes of scanning and surveying the area for any that may have survived her jutsu, she had quickly ran off toward Naruto's location with a kodachi in hand should any try to ambush her. Yet as the Scorch Release wielder dashed off towards the base entrance and quickly dashed through the corridors with her eyes scanning every entrance, she found that Naruto had beat her to the punch in the elimination of any prospective enemies she would've encountered.

Evident by the multiple corpses of Fuma clansmen and Orochimaru's minions that wore headbands with musical notes on their heads, that were either beheaded, disemboweled, dismembered, or a combination of all 3; that had the former hero of Suna morbidly impressed by the quick manner in which he was able to spread carnage…Hence why Pakura was further surprised to see a blood and gore-covered DashRaptor who had just finished slicing Kagero to literal pieces faster than she could register; waiting for her at the end of the hall; the green-haired Fuma was still in shock as she fell over in chunks of diced flesh that plopped onto the ground like soaked sacks of potatoes.

"Hey, Miss Pakura. Did everything go alright on your end?" DashRaptor questioned as he proceeded to stow away his bloodied hatchets back into his satchel

"It did. All buildings in the encampment have been eliminated." Pakura informed the Ultimatrix wielder

"That's awesome to hear! I've just about gotten rid of the last of these guys. You'd think that they'd put up more of a fight, but then again…I can literally run faster than they can think." DashRaptor said to the Scorch Release user

"You can actually run faster than thought in this form?" Pakura inquired as DashRaptor nodded yes

"Considering that I pretty much took out this whole place in nearly one go…I'm pretty sure that I'm that fast, or faster if what I just did is an indicator... Besides I haven't even really figured out what my top speed with this one is yet." DashRaptor answered in not knowing what his max speed was at the given moment

'...I wonder if I can go faster than light with DashRaptor?...Things to figure for later.' DashRaptor wondered regarding if he travel at or faster than light itself

"Perhaps, I can see more of that after we complete the mission. I still find it strange that you can turn into these creatures." Pakura said back

"Hey, is it any stranger than the world we already live in?" DashRaptor questioned

"Fair enough. That being said let us keep moving." Pakura replied

"Gotcha. Just let me switch real quick, I wanna gear up into something with some extra firepower." DashRaptor said back before slamming on the Ultimatrix and changing into HardLight

From there the two surged onwards into the final level of the base; which thanks to the Ultimatrix wielder's bloody handiwork didn't take too terribly long before they reached their target in Arashi Fuma; who'd just recently finished activating his Causalty Puppet to turn himself into a warped abomination with 3 of the corpses of his fellow clansmen atop his now a dozen foot-tall frame. However, as he cackled and began to revel in his newfound power; Pakura and the transformed Ultimatrix wielder spared a brief look at each other before Pakura formed the Tiger seal for her Scorch Release: Evaporation Blast and HardlLight forming an energy sphere of his own.

From there the Anodite in question combined his attack with Pakura's and shaped it and compressed it down into a crossbow-bolt-like construct the size of a silverback gorilla; before taking aim and launching it at the warped form of Arashi who was still howling in maddened laughter from the great boost to his overall might…The construct raced at immense speeds as the Ultimatrix wielder wisely erected a barrier as the combination attack blindsided Arashi who had not so much as a millisecond to brace for impact, or erect a worthwhile defense as it made contact.

The end result of the combination attack; was a massive explosion of heat and concussive force that was so immense that it not only flash incinerated Arashi to the point that not even ash remained of him, but the force of it was so great that it leveled the area to the point that the heavily burnt support pillars gave way, and soon collapsed inwards to bury it all in rubble. So much so that the Ultimatrix wielder decided that it would be a great idea to wrap their barrier around them as a forcefield, and with a leap upwards had the shoot out and upwards of the underground base like a glowing magenta-colored cannonball that rocketed out into the early morning.

Their ascent lasted until they shot forth into the still dark morning where the two were some hundred of feet into the air, as they saw the decimated remains of what was once the encampment where the now extinct Fuma clan remained, and a gaping cavern where the former underground base of Orochimaru's once lay.

"...So what do we do now? The place is obliterated, we just about terminated everyone in here before sunrise. Because, unless you have any bright ideas. I say we head back to camp; pack up and then fly out to the nearest place for breakfast." HardLight asked Pakura on where they went from here

"That actually doesn't sound like such a bad idea now that you mention it…Although, I would like to watch the sunrise. I never did get to see such things when I was in the Hidden Sand." Pakura answered

Fine by me. I'm gonna take a power nap, while you stay up to watch it." HardLight replied before widening their bubble to be less constricting for the two

"Thank you, Naruto. I appreciate it…Also, you make for a very capable partner. I'm sure you will do rather well as a shinobi." Pakura said as they proceeded to fly back to base camp

"Hey, I'm just trying my best. I gotta keep up with someone like yourself…After all, I may be shapeshifting super-soldier. But I still got a ways to go before I'm anything on your caliber." HardLight replied with a small yawn as they sped of with great speed

"Give it time, and I have no doubt you'll reach my level and even exceed it. It is the way of the next generation to surpass their elders after all." Pakura spoke back with a small smile

"Yeah…I guess your right." HardLight said with a modest smile of his own

(3 days later, March 28th, 997 S.E, 3:47 Pm, Naruto's House)

It was a few days later as Naruto was sitting with both Ami and Pakura over the success of their latest mission in terminating the Fuma Clan.

"I'll say this much, you two did an outstanding job. Since you managed to eliminate the targets in under 10 minutes...That has to be a new record for a B-Rank mission." Ami said impressed at the fact that it took them so little time

"Hey, between my aliens and Pakura being able to turn anything into ash in seconds. Is it really a surprise that we got this done as fast as we did?" Naruto replied in seeing their ability to accomplish things so quickly as a no-brainer

"Fair enough, Naruto…I swear those transformations of yours are overpowered." Ami said back

"Well, when you compare it to my dickhead brother and sister who can draw upon the power of a monster fox. My dad and Pervy-Sage being able to summon giant toads to give them nature powers, and my cousin was able to summon up giant plant monsters for fun. I say that my aliens being busted balances out." Naruto spoke in defense of his transformations being as strong as they were

"He does raise a fair point; given the severity of what happens in the world. I agree that his transformations being as powerful as they are; is needed." Pakura chimed in

"Thanks for agreeing with me, Miss. Pakura." Naruto said to the Scorch Release user

"Of course. It is only the truth, and we are shinobi after all…We need every advantage given when we are on a mission." Pakura replied

"Your just agreeing with him, because he's letting you with live him." Was Ami's snide response to Pakura's response

"It is a partial reason, yes…However, even you can't deny the truth in my words." Pakura said back with a knowing smile

"I…You…Damn, your right." Ami briefly sputtered before cursing at how the elder shinobi was right

"Anyways, since you guys crushed it. What's the next plan of action? There has to be something else you have in the works?" Ami asked the two

"Other than the academy to deal with. I'm just gonna keep doing what I've been doing, making machines and training with you and Sasuke." Naruto answered back on what his plans were

"Which reminds me, Pakura. How do you feel about getting some cybernetic upgrades down the line? Because, I've got some ideas for some; that are gonna take you from being a pretty good shinobi to a goddamn super-soldier!" Naruto asked the Scorch Release user

"Perhaps later on when I've better settled into the village…No offense to you, or your inventions. But I'd rather not take any chances at permanently altering myself; before I've better gotten used to things in the village." Pakura told the blonde shapeshifter

"Hey, that's more than fine by me. It's just a little offer I figured I'd make to you is all." Naruto replied fine with her refusal

"Wait you're making cyborgs? Since when?!" Ami questioned

"Oh, yeah…I may have forgotten to mention that I'm working with your granddad to start making cyborg super-soldiers. I'm calling it the Plasma-Gaurd Project." Naruto informed Ami

"Granted the name still needs a bit of work, but its gonna be super awesome when we get it up and running. I'm talking about shit that's gonna be able to let us run circles around Kumo, Iwa and any other mofo that tries some shit!" Naruto added regarding one of the few projects that had him most excited for the future

Since the Ultimatrix wielder had been planning on making the thought of cyborg super-soldiers a reality for the longest time, because from his perspective it would go a very long way towards evening the playing field with the other hidden villages who had shit like perfect jinchuuriki, and people equal to Might Guy and Pervy Sage out there.

"Well, when are you gonna get this project of yours up and running?" Ami questioned

"Hopefully, by July at the earliest or October at the latest. Because that's the best timetable for when I can start having the Mark 1's out and ready to go." Naruto answered back

"If these Plasma-Guards are anything like the rest of your machines you've created. Then I won't doubt that they will be able to change the game as it were." Pakura remarked

"Oh trust me, Miss Pakura. They aren't the only thing I've got planned to change things. Because by the time the next Chunin Exams roll around. We're gonna be rolling' in deep with shit, that's gonna put us on a new level…Hell, by that point I'd dare someone to run our pockets then." Naruto said back with a large grin on his face

"I swear if we get invaded during the exams because you had to open your mouth. I'm kicking you in the nuts." Ami told the blonde shapeshifter

"Oh come on, Ami. What're the chances of that stuff happening?" Naruto asked

"Between Iwa being in a neutral state right now, Kiri in a fucking civil war, Kumo still getting its act together, and Suna being sorry as shit…I doubt that there's really anyone who is gonna come for our necks by then." Naruto added

"I would still practice caution, Naruto. The difference of what can happen between now, and a year going forward is substantial." Pakura spoke knowing full well that many things could happen between now and the Chunin Exams

"I already do. I mean have you seen all the stuff I've put up around the house to keep it secure?...I'm just doing what I already have on my house but on the whole village." Naruto said back

"If that's the case. I hope you won't have anything like your Scrap Guards running around. I doubt that many people around the village would react positively to machines roaming around the village." Ami said in figuring that war machines casually roaming around the village wouldn't be taken too well

"Oh no, Ami. I'm a lot of things, but I'm not crazy…at least not all the way I think. But even I know that having that stuff always out in the open ain't gonna go too well." Naruto replied in fully realizing that having his war-machines out in the open would be a bad idea...for the current moment

"Still, if everything goes accordingly. Then the village's security will be top-notch and then some!" Naruto added with excitement to get started on the improvement of his home's defenses

"I can't wait to see how that all goes. Considering how if you were able to make our weaponry this advanced in a matter of months, I can't wait to see what you're going to do by the time of the Chunin Exams." Ami said keen to see how that'll go given Naruto's affinity for machinery

"Until then, we just keep helping Miss Pakura get settled into village…Who knows, maybe she'll meet some lucky guy." Naruto said as a faint blush at the idea crossed Pakura's face

"Perhaps, one day…Although, I will admit that I am not that well-versed in dating or approaching people in that manner. Being the hero of my home didn't leave me much of a dating life." Pakura replied

"Don't worry, we've got you covered. I'm pretty sure there's someone in Root that can help you out with that." Ami told the Scorch Release user

"While I appreciate the thought. I will have to pass for now…At least until I better know the villagers here." Pakura said back

"Whatever floats your boat. All I know is that so far your turning out to be a fantastic addition to the village, if the mission results are anything to go by." Ami spoke glad that someone of Pakura's esteem was on their side

"As am I. My only regret is that I couldn't have brought Maki here with me. I'm sure she would've loved it here." Pakura said having long since missed her student in both her recovery and time in the village

"Hey, I'm sure you'll see her again. Just because your here doesn't mean that their won't be a chance to see her." Naruto replied

"I suppose you are right, Naruto. I'm just still getting used to adapting to things without her and my other student." Pakura said in regards to Gaara and Maki

"...But enough dwelling on my former home. For now, I'd like to celebrate the good things I've accomplished so far, with my new one." Pakura spoke in desiring to shift subjects

"Whatever you say, Miss. Pakura…Just give me a moment, and I'll have us snacks and a movie set up to help pass the time." Naruto replied as he called over one of his robotic manservants to get them snacks

'Maki, Gaara. I hope your still alright, in that sandpit of vipers.' Pakura hoped to herself as she spent the rest of her day with Ami and Naruto

(2 days later, March 30th, 997 S.E, Sunagakure, 7:40 Pm)

Meanwhile in the Hidden Sand Village Gaara had decided to use her sand powers to fly over to Maki's house; in order to spend time with her relatively only person she cared for now that Pakura was gone.

"Again, I apologize for not being able to come over faster. However, I had gotten into another argument with Father, and I'm sure you can put things together from there." Gaara said as both continued eating from the modest-sized cake

"You don't have to apologize, Gaara. I'm happy to have you over regardless." Maki told the jinchuuriki

"Thank you, Maki. It's nice to know that someone appreciates having me around." Gaara replied

"Let me guess, family troubles again?" Maki surmised by Gaara's sullen expression

"When isn't it that I'm not at odds with my own family…I doubt that I'd have much reason to talk to Kankuro and Temari." Gaara said over bites of fudge cake

"If it were not for us being on a genin team together. I severely doubt that I would have any reason to be near them, or even see them…I'm pretty sure that they wouldn't bat an eye if I dropped dead in my sleep. What with it being that they're either afraid of me, blame me for being the reason mother died, or seeing me as a monster altogether…And who can blame them when I'm the reason our mother is no longer here." Gaara further spoke with melancholic self-disgust almost heavy in her voice

"Gaara, you know that…" Maki tried to say as she struggled to find words that wouldn't come off as utterly pretentious

"I know what you are trying to say, Maki. I honestly do, and I thank you for the effort. However, it's very hard not to think about these things; when it's shoved in your face by your own father every chance he gets to do so. From assassins having tried to end my life, to having sent my very own uncle to murder me in cold blood…Now even under false pretenses Miss. Pakura is gone as well." Gaara replied as she reflected over the complete nightmare that was her life

"And to be honest, I don't know how much more my heart can stand…From the mass majority of the village, to my own father who despises my very existence, to my siblings that live in terror that I might turn into Shukaku or just kill them outright of malice…I am so very tired of it all." Gaara said with a weariness that sounded decades beyond what should come from a 17-year-old

Since there was only so much that Gaara could deal with before she felt herself being crushed by the weight of her father's choleric disgust towards her, as well as the seemingly all-encompassing fear from her siblings and the village that was only amped up upon by Shukaku's incessant whispers in her mind to butcher and crush everything so it could revel in their blood. However, despite all this and the tiredness of wanting to succumb to Shukaku's whispers of destruction and drowning her home in blood; she didn't for the simple desire of wanting to prove her existence was worth something; that her existence extended beyond the weapon her father wanted.

After all, Maki, Miss. Pakura and even Shira had despite all of the hell that had been her life growing up; had shown her that she deserved to exist as more than what her father tried to create in her, and as such solely kept pushing forward because of these people in her life.

"Hey. I know its rough for you, especially when you have the worst dad to ever exist. But if it means anything you've handled being a jinchuuriki better than anyone else would…If anything you are one of the most resilient, kind, and strongest people I know…I'm pretty sure that Pakura-sensei would be proud of you if she was still here." Maki said to the jinchuuriki of the sand spirit who sniffled a bit at those words

"T-Thank you, Maki. After everything I've had to endure, that means a lot." Gaara replied with a faint smile crossing her usually placid features

"It is true, Gaara. I swear that you do not get enough credit for being the strongest person in our village. Everyone can say what they want about you, but I know that you are by far a lot stronger than what you think" Maki told the redhead before her

"Since who else can literally make our own home her greatest weapon? Not even Lord 4th can do that for all his power." Maki added

"My strength does come partly from Shukaku…Still, I do appreciate the sentiment." Gaara thanked the cloth-wielding Chunin

"Your powers may come from that thing. But you've made it all your own. I doubt there's anyone else who can do what you do with sand. Not everyone can make giant sandstorms, make weapons out of it, make sandstone golems, heck you somehow managed to fly with sand!...If all this crazy stuff you can do with YOUR power…not Shukaku's but yours, doesn't say how great you are. Then I don't know what will." Maki half spoke/half ranted to the sand wielder

"...Overall, Gaara. You are by far the strongest person in the village. And if Lord 4th can't get past his hate of you, to see how great you are. Then I truly think that he's missing out on a wonderful person." Maki further spoke, causing Gaara's smile to widen

"I honestly, don't know what to say; except thank you…I truly can't express how grateful and how happy it makes me to hear that from someone." Gaara replied with a small yet earnest smile from the Chunin's kind words

"It is something that someone should have said to you a long time ago. You are by far greater than what you, or your father gives you credit for. Pakura-sensei saw it, Shira sees it clear as day, and I see it as well. So I know for a fact, that you are going to be something fantastic one day. You just need to keep believing that you are worthy of that greatness, and I promise you; that you'll show everyone how wonderful you really are." Maki said back

"I hope so. It is difficult still to believe that I am deserving beyond what my father has planned for me." Gaara said as her bright teal eyes met Maki's

"However, for you and Miss Pakura. I will try to do the best that I can." Gaara added doing her best to muster up as much happiness and resolve as she could into her voice

"That's all anyone is asking of you, Gaara. As long as you do that, then I'm sure you'll prove your existence to everyone…But for now, let's enjoy some cake. You deserve it." Maki said to the redheaded jinchuuriki of Shukaku who nodded before continuing to eat

'I don't know what I've done to deserve friendship; from these people…But I'm thankful for it nonetheless.' Gaara said to herself as she continued to enjoy the quiet yet peaceful evening with Maki

(The next morning, 11:16 Am, March 31st, 997 S.E, Orochimaru's Prime Base)

It would be the next morning as Kabuto had went to see Orochimaru who was hard at work on what would be his hopefully 'final' body; that lay in suspended animation connected to various life-support systems, in a 3 meters tall vat of incandescent violet liquid.

"What do you want, Kabuto?" Orochimaru questioned from his right-hand

"You have been rather quiet, Lord Orochimaru…I know you wished not to be disturbed, but no one has heard from you in almost 3 nearing 4 months now. I figured that it would be prudent of me to at least check in, and see how things are progressing." Kabuto answered back as the serpent Sannin turned away from his workstation to face him

"Apologies, Kabuto. I've simply been so invested in my work that I've completely forgotten about everything…Then again, now that I am so close to making my perfect body. Its all I can think about lately." Orochimaru replied

"Not to sound rude, or condescending. It's just that I thought that something such as this would've taken you far less time to create. Especially with what you've accomplished and have planned for the future." Kabuto spoke as his master turned towards him

"You would think that it wouldn't take me so long to do so. However, unlike my former teammate who has put so much stock into prophecies and those worthless toads of his. I have pushed my knowledge to go beyond the stars, and acquire a certain D.N.A sample that will make my final body all the more formidable." Orochimaru replied as he spared a glance at his prize

"Who would've thought that making friends from beyond the stars would make things so much easier...If I knew it would be so beneficial then perhaps I could have evaded Jiraiya's treachery all those years ago." Orochimaru added with a curved smile

"Are you sure that even with this; your new body will become more stable than the others? We don't how the combination of so many samples will interact with each other...Especially with the added factor of it being alien D.N.A." Kabuto questioned in concern

"I have accounted for that, and luckily our helping hand has supplied us with what we need. Granted some of what he gifted us with was hard for them to come by. But given their track record; they've yet to fail in providing with what I need to make everything come together as one!" Orochimaru answered back with an eager smile at all the possible power he would be granted by his future body

"If that is the case, then how much longer until it is ready?" Kabuto inquired

"It shouldn't be too much longer. I should be ready to begin my transfer by June at the earliest and August at the very latest…Hopefully its the former." Orochmaru informed the silver-haired medic

For the Serpent Sannin couldn't help but feel ecstatic over his final body not only being such to where he would no longer worry about the constant transferral of bodies to preserve himself, but it would allow him an immensely greater power that would put Nagato and his Rinnegan to shame.

'Perhaps, I can one day work towards hyper-evolving myself once I gain better control over my final form.' Orochimaru mused to himself

"That is very excellent news…When do you plan to debut you're perfected body if I may ask?" Kabuto questioned the serpent Sannin

"I haven't decided as of yet. Although, I could do with breaking it in against Tayuya…She has become a nuisance as of late. If anything much more than I should tolerate given the fact that she is the weakest of the Sound 4…Which isn't even accounting for her crass behavior and foul mouth." Orochimaru answered back in regards to the sole female of the Sound 4

"There is also the fact that in your absence and declining state of health, that she has begun to spread word that you are losing your touch." Kabuto told the pale mad scientist

"Is that so?" Orochimaru queried with a raised brow

"Indeed, in fact it has regretfully progressed to the point where she has started to have others question your authority…Even to the point of insurrection against you. While I, Kimmimaro and Guren have been able to put these to rest; it is still an issue that should take precedence once you are done." Kabuto informed a now very irritated Orochimaru

"Hmmm, it seems as though I now have a new 'test subject' on whom to break in my perfected body against. On top of that, I also now have a reason to finally replace Tayuya…If not have someone keep an eye on her to keep her in line." Orochimaru replied their expression one of annoyance and spiteful thoughts abound in their head

"Anyone that you have in mind to be a new addition for the Sound 4?" Kabuto questioned

"I have a few in mind…While I would include Mizuki as a candidate, he is better served as a spy within Konoha. However, their are others within our ranks that are hybrids just like Mizuki. All of whom look very promising to become new candidates to my elite guard." Orochimaru answered back with a broad smile crossing his serpentine features

"That is good to know. To be frank with you, I will be glad when and if we replace her. She has grown too comfortable in her position, and as such should be taken down a peg or two." Kabuto said eager to see Tayuya get knocked down a dozen pegs or so

"Believe me, she will be humbled soon enough. In the meantime, you can rest assured that I will be making my presence felt more often…Especially with the news of Tayuya's crassness causing problems for my regime." Orochimaru replied

"That being said, is their anything else that you have to report to me about?" Orochimaru further asked

"Yes. Our generous benefactor wants to know when the village will be ready so he can begin his operations here?" Kabuto answered back

"We shall be ready by this July…Say what you want of him, but he does get results nonetheless...Impressive results at that, as it is no small feat he is considered as powerful as his reputation precedes of him." Orochimaru replied in regards to their patron

"I will not argue with you there. Hopefully with his help we can further our plans to bring everything beyond the age of shinobi." Kabuto said back as Orochimaru nodded in agreement

"As do I…Everyone thinks that learning new jutsu and gaining the tailed beasts are the greatest paths to power…If only they realized that things far more vast and incomprehensible than that lay in the stars above." Orochimaru spoke before turning back to his pet project

"That being said, I need to return to my work…Especially as this body is growing weaker by the day." Orochimaru further spoke knowing that his time in his present body was eroding quickly

"Understood. And what do you wish me to tell the others?" Kabuto questioned

"Tell them that their worries of my having lost my touch, are misgiven. I may have remained silent for longer than anticipated, but I am still Orochimaru of the Legendary Sannin. And I will tolerate my power and authority being put into question no longer." Orochimaru answered back with a steel and menace in his voice that almost made Kabuto's spine shiver

"As you wish, Lord Orochimaru." Kabuto replied before taking his leave

'Just you wait, Jiraiya. Your plans to turn the world into a wasteland for your pathetic peace; will fall if I have anything to say about it.' Orochimaru said to himself as his attention turned back to the floating form of his soon to be next body

So with the elimination of the Fuma clan having been dealt with as Pakura and Naruto go into action, we now see that Orochimaru plans for his final body to be made as well as an intergalactic ally or two waiting in the wings…How will things persevere for Naruto and company with these threats on the horizon? Find out in the new installments of, The Alien Soldier!

Alright, y'all that's gonna end that chapter as I hoped you've enjoyed this and everything that went into this chapter because oh boy are we gonna be winding up into some fun stuff down the line. Because, I'll say this right now Orochimaru ain't gonna get caught lackin' like did in canon as a forewarning. Now then onto some of the reviews from the previous chapter.

Kourtney Uzu Yato:Thanks and Happy New Years too ya, and that DBZ story alongside my Harry Potter story I have in the works are the ones I look forwards too putting out by this year if not next year. Also, Pakura is now at mission taking capacity so that's a plus, also the conversation with everyone in regards to Itachi is something that had to happen given that Itachi's uber loyalty to the village is gonna cost him significantly, because trust me when I say that at this point EVERYONE is sick of his not paying attention to the clan or his wife and toddler son.

God of Wind 200: Actually yes it has for the medical department of things, given that Naruto wants to industrialize everything and pretty much make it more efficient if possible. Hence why his factories have been putting out new and improved medical machinery that with Shizune's oversight gets the sign-off on in being implemented, since she is in charge of ROOT's medical department. As the upgrading of the hospital in Konoha is one of those things that are a Work in Progress, given that something to what Naruto wants to do in terms of improving it, is gonna take a good chunk of change between making more advanced weapons and armor for ROOT and himself, on top of improving technology overall.

Volcasarion: Given what next chapter entails, you will be seeing Itachi's reaction soon enough; because its less of her showing divorce papers and more "I've had it get out of mine and my childs' life since you don't want to be in it' type of energy. Because ooohhh boy I've got something planned for Itachi when he realizes his brown-nosing to try and get to the Hokage's seat has backfired and now has no wife and child, no Clansmen, and is left with nothing but his position because he tried to be the 'perfect shinobi' to earn it.
