Author's Notes:
I feel it necessary to warn you ahead of time that this chapter and the next are very talk-heavy. There is a little action, but for the most part, this is a somewhat slow chapter. But, if you are planning to avoid this chapter because of that, I should let you know there's plenty of establishing information in this chapter and the next.
I'll see you at the end of this chapter…
Mustafu Police Station First Aid Room…
9:37 PM, Tokyo Standard Time…
"How would you two like to stay at U-A High, as students…?" Principal Nezu asked Sean and Rosa, to the two's bewilderment…
The both of them looked at each other in confusion, as they seemed to have a non-verbal conversation. The two then faced the group…
"Uhh…we, are already graduates of high school, sir…" Sean pointed out to the chimera.
Detective Tsukauchi, Shota Aizawa, All Might, Chiyo Shuuzenji, and Izuku Midoriya looked at the chimera as he laughed, saying to them…
"Oh-ho-ho! I am aware of your age. You two speak like young adults, and I noticed subtle clues about your current status, like the fact you two are married to each other…and that was me not taking into account what Detective Tsukauchi summed up to us by questioning you…"
"Wait! They're married?!" All Might had coughed out as he nearly spat out his tea after hearing that, only to be whacked by Recovery Girl's cane as she remarked sassily, "You think the wedding rings on their ring fingers would be proof enough?"
"Well, regardless of your actual age, the two of you pass off as teenagers, and I think you two have much to offer at U-A if you become students…" Nezu stated, "After all, you gave the global government agency a password of some kind and had ironed out identities for the two of you for the records…"
Rosa answered, "Kind of. As we said, most realities are aware of this interdimensional stuff to a point where only the highest of authorities are aware of people like us, displaced figures from other realities, and have protocols in place for that kind of people…we think they are ironing out our covers as we speak right now…"
She sighed as she finished, "We are definitely not the first interdimensional travelers to appear in your reality, and chances are almost guaranteed that we won't be the last."
"We are to help you create identities so you won't be out of place here in our world. That's what these folders are for…" Recovery Girl said as she patted the folders on the desk.
Sean and Rosa looked at each other with Rosa saying, "Eh, better than being in some government facility and never leaving. We got quite a bit of cash to do it, so why not. We could learn a thing or two here to help us develop our skills. And I suppose we have to leave out our status as being married?"
Nezu responded to that inquiry, and explained, "Well, you two could be registered into being in a Quirk Marriage, but the practice has been looked down upon in recent years, as it was just another way to say arranged marriages…"
Rosa shook her head as she said, "No thanks on arranged marriages. That sounds like the last thing I want…"
Sean remarked as he started to put down some information on the registry, "Well, I really don't want to imply we are blood relatives by sharing the same last name. So how about you take on your maiden name, honey?"
Rosa looked a little apprehensive about the decision, considering that she, at last, started a family with the man she loves, but she sighed and said as she wrote her name, "Might as well. If I can't be your wife at school, I might as well be your girlfriend again."
Detective Tsukauchi said, "Since those of us present were cleared to know this sensitive information at your insistence, we might as well get some questions out of the way, like those metal briefcases you two have. My intuition tells me that these are a lot more than they seem."
Sean and Rosa soon explained about the Masterforce Armor, further demonstrating them by activating the armors before the group, they saw the armors latch onto and cover their entire bodies as the metal suitcases turned into full-body armor covering the couple. As the armor covering the two looked like something straight out of an anime, the action made Izuku faint as he was seeing a real-life tokusatsu transformation like on the TV when he was a child.
"The armors are very durable, to a point your strength needs to rival mass extinction-level catastrophes before you could make a dent…" Sean explained, his voice had a robotic filter as he wore a full mask that made him look like a mecha suit, "…and even if it gets damaged, the nanomachines the suits are made from could self-repair and self-replicate if provided raw materials, even from the ground itself. But, Rosa and I prefer to use these for more serious 'hero work' as you would call it. So unless there's a meteor as large as the one that wiped out the dinosaurs that is hurtling to the Earth as we speak, we would rather not use these if we can help it."
Rosa spoke up as her cool-as-hell (and sexy to some observers) armor was juxtaposed by her body movements inside as she retracted her suit's faceplate, "They do make very handy assistants in several cases due to the onboard UI programs with very good programming. So no worries about the suits turning on humanity."
"Incredible…" All Might exclaimed as if he was told he was a father, hand to his forehead and all, "I have an old friend who would literally do anything, even kill someone, for a chance to study this technology. All I can say is just that, incredible…"
"These suits are coded to respond to their owners and their owners alone. So no tricks villains would use to possess them would work. You could nuke these things and they wouldn't have scratches on them…" Sean said as he then pressed the sigil of a face on his chest and said, "Power Down, sleep mode…"
Then the suit transformed off his body and back into a metal suitcase, Rosa did the same with her armor and then handed the suitcases to Detective Tsukauchi who just held them like they were a priceless historical document. The man with the lie-detector quirk then set them down at the table, carefully, and then picked up the two's backpacks.
"What about these? I once saw you, Hashimoto-san, pull a hatrack out of it. And the head of a giant robot suit…" he questioned, which Sean and Rosa were able to explain.
"We already explained them, somewhat when you asked us earlier. But the lowdown is that our deity friend, Palkia, enchanted our backpacks to be pocket dimensions for storage, and did so where only we alone can access all the things we stored in there, like the Masterforce armor to a tee in accessibility. But, because Rosa and I are married, she could reach into my backpack's dimension occasionally, while I can't do the same with hers…" Sean said as he pulled out, to everyone's surprise, a medieval suit of plated armor that looked brand new, despite the style being over a thousand years old.
"What kind of stuff do you have in your backpacks?" Tsukauchi asked as Sean put the medieval armor back inside his backpack.
Rosa explained after she did the same, and pulled out some odd-looking, technology-enhanced cuffs, "Sean's backpack has a greater capacity than mine and is full of a ton of stuff we and our friends found during one huge adventure a good while back, as our storage spaces are comparable to a city…"
She pointed to her backpack, then pointed to Sean's as she finished, "Or an entire planet. I have some pretty out-there things stored in mine, but Sean tends to carry anything that, if you're worried about what we have falling into the wrong hands, he holds those kinds of things in his backpack. Literal power-ups from video games, giant robotic suits originally built for interstellar war, a legit time machine built out of a car, weapons from major video game franchises, a lightsaber, an F-22 Raptor, and all sorts of things that, if you name any major entertainment franchise, he would be hounded by rabid fans for having genuine articles of pop-culture items relegated to be fictional or be cosplay-only replicas…"
The five present with the couple had slack jaws and bugged-out eyes, even Nezu was surprised at that.
Tsukauchi was in disbelief as he thinks that the talk was just crazy, that it must be a lie, but his quirk is registering it as the truth. So he asked Sean, "You…must…Y-you must be exaggerating…there's no way you have all that…!"
Sean and Rosa looked at each other as they knew this was coming. Rosa asked, "Detective, do you have a large secluded space? Like a warehouse?"
Six Minutes Later…
"Unbelievable…" Tsukauchi slumped in his chair as he stared at the ceiling, eyes wide with disbelief. Shota Aizawa did the same with a stronger sense of disbelief on his face.
"To think you have the actual DeLorean Time Machine from Back to the Future…and an actual F-22 Raptor fighter jet…" All Might said, very surprised as he had the widest smile on his face.
"Sadly, the actual time travel part of the time machine doesn't work, not without one of our friends, who is the literal God of Time, in it to make that part work. It still works as a car, a flying car, but you can't go back in time with it, in a literal sense…" Rosa said, slightly cringing as she saw the slight disappointment in Nezu and Izuku's faces that they can't travel through time.
Aizawa sighed as he said, "The last thing our world needs is a literal time machine that actually works. So many people would be after a working time machine for selfish and abusive means…"
He looked at the two visitors with a discerning eye as he said, "Frankly, what you have in your backpack would make you the most desirable meal ticket for every agenda-driven person or organization, for getting rich, to trying to conquer the world."
"Don't worry Aizawa, sir…" Sean raised his hands in defense, "Rosa and I spent lots of time with the most responsible heroes in all of creation. We know better than to abuse the gifts we have, and the power we possess. We rarely use this stuff, outside of world-threatening or universe-ending stakes…"
Aizawa sighed as he could tell from the actions of Tsukauchi that they were telling the truth.
"W-well…what was your world like? You know, the one you originally came from?" Izuku asked the couple.
Sean remarked as he looked at Detective Tsukauchi, "Oh…never bothered to ask us what our home was like, detective? All you asked was where are we from, not boiling down to specifics…"
Tsukauchi chuckled wryly as he replied, "I should have known…I know, might as well tell us what your world was like…"
Sean nodded to his wife as she said, "First off, in our world, while there are many animals, it was also inhabited by unusual creatures called Pokémon–…"
Rosa was interrupted by Izuku exclaiming, "Wait, what?! Pokémon?!"
Sean asked, a little surprised, "You know about Pokémon?"
Nezu perked up with his interest being grabbed as Aizawa asked Tsukauchi, "Please tell me they are lying…Pokémon is a fictional franchise, they have to be making it up…"
Tsukauchi shook his head as he said, "No, they are being 100 percent honest and straight with us."
"Well, to lay any doubt to rest…" Nezu spoke up, "Could you two give us proof that what you say is true?"
Sean and Rosa reached into their backpacks and pulled out familiar, tiny, red and white orbs with a button in the center each. They were Poké Balls, and soon enough, the pair pressed the button on their Poké Ball and the orbs grew in size. That alone might be able to convince everyone, but the need for further proof was there for Aizawa. So, Sean and Rosa then lightly tossed their Poké Balls into the air, and the orbs split in half, releasing a bolt of energy within the two balls.
Once the bolts of light touched the ground, the light began taking shape and from them, two creatures appeared. Sean's Poké ball revealed he had what looked like an oversized beige-&-navy-blue honey badger, with a frill of flames erupting from the back of its neck (a Typhlosion). It cried out "BAK-PHOOOOOOOONN!"
Rosa's Poké Ball revealed a blue, quadrupedal, sea lion-looking creature with an upturned mane and whiskers that looked like a beard, it had a shell helmet and two sword-like shells sheathed inside its armored front limbs (a Samurott). The creature cried out in response, "Grrrooooaaaaahhhh-oouuuuu!"
Izuku nearly fainted at seeing creatures he's only seen in video games, television, and merchandise, in the flesh. Real live Pokémon. It blew his mind, especially when he remembered them saying that it was Palkia, the Legendary Pokémon of Space that enchanted their backpacks.
Sean's Typhlosion noticed the boy staring at him, then it walked up to Izuku and began nuzzling him, which made Midoriya ticklish. But his laughter was silenced when he felt a pair of bitter eyes on him, he looked and saw Rosa's Samurott was giving him the absolute worse stink eye a creature would ever give the boy. Izuku felt like he shrank as the Water-Type Pokémon gave Izuku a disapproving scowl that the boy felt all too familiar with.
Rosa noticed and said quite sternly, "Hanzo! You know better than that! Stop glaring at every guy you see!"
The Samurott, now known as Hanzo, flinched and cowered under his trainer's disapproving glare of her own. It grumbled as he soon retreated into his Poké Ball, the young woman bowing as she apologized, "I am so sorry for Hanzo's behavior. He's a little overprotective of me, and the only guy he allows to get close to me is Sean, and even then, Hanzo occasionally gives Sean the stink eye, as if to say, don't you dare upset my trainer…"
Sean chuckled a little as he agreed, "Yeah, I know better than to upset my wife. At least Typhlosion likes you, Midoriya. Yeah, he's very sweet and friendly when he's not being competitive…"
Sean recalled his Typhlosion into his PokéBall, while Aizawa looked like he was one more surprise away from walking up to the roof of the building, then taking that one-step shortcut to ground level.
"The fact you are familiar with Pokémon makes this so much easier to explain now…" Rosa said with a relieved smile, as they explained plenty of things about their world, only for Nezu to ask, "I understand as much, and from what I know about the Pokémon franchise, I understand that you two are Pokémon Trainers, and you have 6 Pokémon each on hand…?"
Sean said, "Sort of…when it does come to some official Pokémon situations, like Pokémon battles, we are allowed to use up to 6. But, we are allowed to carry more than that at a time, usually, we are restricted from using more than six…"
Nezu's brows raised in intrigue, so he then asked, "Well, how many Pokémon do the two of you have on you at this moment?"
Rosa answered first, "I have 24 Pokémon on hand in my backpack, though, as a Pokémon Trainer, I have caught a lot more than that. But they're back home with my family…"
Nezu looked at Sean as the young man answered next, "Same in that regard, but I have 36 Pokémon on hand instead…"
Nezu thought about it from what he knows of the franchise, thinking, 'Hmm…60 Pokémon in total, likely really strong Pokémon if Rosa's name and appearance are any indicators…'
Izuku soon picked up a little on what Nezu was thinking as he then said, "Oh! Now that I got a good look at you, I thought I had seen you before, Parker-san. You're Mei-chan!"
Rosa was caught a little off guard, evidenced by her stuttering out, "Meh-Mei-ch-chan?! What?!"
Tsukauchi went to his phone and did a quick web search, and found what he was looking for he explained, "Mei is the name for the female player protagonist of the games Pokémon Black 2 & White 2, but since Midoriya brought it up, the English default name for Mei happens to be Rosa. This you?"
Rosa looked at the phone once Tsukauchi had the screen face her, and showed her artwork of, Rosa herself.
"Eh?! That's me, almost eight years ago! Wait, was my butt always that fat?" Rosa commented in surprise and then worry as she pinched her hips.
Sean looked at the artwork and remarked, "Sure, that's what you looked like eight years ago, you were pretty cute back then, your butt wasn't that fat, but your boobs definitely were bigger back then…"
That made the young woman blush and pout as she socked Sean's arm in retribution, the boy recoiled in pain. The young man held in cursing in pain and swallowed his shout, he then chuckled nervously and rubbed his sore arm as he made a remark…
"I deserved that…ow…" Sean wryly remarked in pain, to which Rosa "Hmph-ed" in response, the girl blushing a bit, which made everyone but Aizawa and Agent Oda laugh inside.
Recovery Girl spoke up after clearing her throat, "Well, what about you, sonny? I'm a little familiar with the series, but I must confess I don't know who you are."
"Maybe telling us your highlights at the beginning of your journey would help?" Izuku asked, to which Sean replied, "Sure…these are my highlights at the start of my journey…"
Thankfully for the natives, there were special remakes for most of the major Pokémon games, and Sean's named highlights pointed to two particular games…
Tsukauchi pulled up a photo of the trainer who matched his descriptions and asked, "That sounds like Pokémon HeartGold & SoulSilver based on your highlights. This is you? Hibiki, or Ethan in English-speaking countries?"
"Why on Earth would I want to have either name?!" Sean groaned as he saw a piece of artwork that showed him when he was starting his journey.
Rosa looked at the photo and started giggling as Sean looked a little annoyed and commented, "Great, a reminder of my hyperactive, stupidly stubborn years. Why on Earth did I think dyeing my hair black would make me look cool…"
Rosa managed to suppress her giggling as she comforted her husband, "Oh no worries, you are a more mature person now than you were then. Plus, I think it's cute…"
Sean sighed as Tsukauchi managed to get everyone back on the topic of the two better explaining themselves. The two were somewhat aware that their world might be fictional in some other worlds (having been told as such by Palkia herself and explained as such), and that they had met individuals that were fictional characters in their world. As they continued their explanation, Agent Oda inquired if anyone else knew about their situation, they were gonna say there isn't anyone else until Rosa remembered Tenya Iida saw them before they assumed their half-dragon forms, Nezu thinks that he will call Iida to his office early in the morning and brief him on everything, and ask he keeps all of it a secret until he is given the okay.
Izuku then remembered something and asked, "Wait, what about quirks? What will you put down as your quirks in the registry?"
"I take it you mean superpowers?" Sean asked, to which Rosa commented, "Hmm when I heard what this world was like, I can't help but feel it sounds naggingly familiar…"
Nezu replied, "Well, given that you are from a fictional universe from our perspective. It probably is logical that, as you said, our universe is fictional in other realities, even yours. As for your quirks, what kind of superpowers do you two have?"
Rosa and Sean looked at them as they tried to explain, "Well, for the record, some of what we could do are not classified as traditional superpowers…"
"What do you mean?" Aizawa asked as Sean held out his hand, and a sphere of light manifested from it after little discharges of electricity crackled around his arm.
Everyone looked at the sphere of pure energy as Sean explained, "This is me utilizing my Ki, otherwise called Chi, Qi, or Aura, an energy that all living creatures possess, and with the proper teacher, it has a veritable arsenal of uses from healing, flight, defense, maneuverability, enhancement, a lot of other things."
Sean allowed the ball of ki to dissipate as his hand became cloaked by a white aura that raged like a torrent of fire as he continued, "A master of Ki could perform feats of strength that far outstrips what the human body could do on its own. It draws upon your life energy to effectively become superhuman. It is a power anyone can learn, even those, if I remember hearing it right, are considered 'Quirkless'? They could learn how to use Ki as well, but they would need a teacher who knows how to use Ki to teach others how to use it. Some people click more than others…"
Nezu was beaming with curiosity, a power anyone, even a Quirkless person could learn if they have the proper teacher to show them how.
Izuku wanted to cry tears of joy, he remembered all the people who told him he couldn't be a hero. But here was someone who said that he could, even Quirkless if he had the proper teacher to show him how. He held back his tears, thinking it might not be the best time to do so.
"Could the two of you teach anyone how to use Ki?" Nezu inquired, only for Rosa to reply…
"I can't, I'm not a master, so I am not allowed to teach others. I would have to get permission from the master who taught me, which happens to be my husband, he is qualified to teach as a master. A master decides who they will teach and who they reject, and it is based on some pretty strict, even inconsistent, guidelines known only to a fully recognized master of Ki. Apparently, unless you learn from an actual master, even if you figure out how to use Ki, it will always be weaker, pathetic, and worthless compared to those who learn from a master…"
Tsukauchi nodded, deciding to ask Sean later about teaching some police officers how to use Ki. But he said, "You mentioned 'half-dragon' forms…outside of that power, what other powers do you two possess?"
"Well, through a rather complicated and long story, the two of us could use magic, legit fantasy 'Fireball & Stone Wall' magic, but we would need to test what it can do, as magic differs greatly from one reality to another. So it's more of a wild card that could easily be more trouble than it's worth…" Sean answered first, which Izuku was immensely curious over, as the magic they implied to be able to use would be similar to some fantasy genre anime he is familiar with.
Nezu remarked with his curiosity being overtly obvious, "Oh my, real magic spells? Well, if you need time to learn how magic works in this reality, let me know ahead of time so I can help you figure it out…"
The two nodded as Rosa added, "Though that long story as well, the two of us have access to the powers of dragons, which you caught glimpses of at that U.S.J. place. Think of it like this: anything legends say a dragon from China is able to do, we can do as well…"
Tsukauchi replied, jotting down some notes, "I see…I would say that might be the best ability to have as your Quirks in these registry forms. But, I want to ask, just how powerful are you two, when you go all out?"
The pair looked at each other, then closed their eyes as they tried to think of how to answer that question. Rosa opened her eyes after sighing, and then answered…
"According to Palkia in regard to some power scales, Sean and I are powerful enough to technically be considered demigods, or low level gods straight up. On a similar scale to some mythical heroes of old legends, like Heracles, or something like some comic book superheroes able to destroy world-ending meteorites…"
That answer made Tsukauchi scratch his notepad with his pen, and look at the two with a bewildered look as he asked, "P-p-pardon, b-but c-could you clarify exactly what you mean by that…?"
All Might, Izuku Midoriya, and Shota Aizawa looked shocked like the detective as Sean clarified, "To give an idea, you know Mt. Fuji?"
Everyone nodded as they were familiar with the volcano, Sean finished, "Basically, Rosa and I are strong enough to where if either of us fired an attack at the volcano, there would be a crater where it was. Almost like it got struck and leveled by a meteor…"
Aizawa groaned as these two, by that descriptor had already reached All Might in terms of destructive power, if not they may have already surpassed the strongest hero in the world. He looked over to see Nezu having a perfect smiling poker face, the teacher had no clue what his rat of a boss was thinking. It was also bad enough that, earlier, he found that his Quirk had no effect on either of them.
"You're saying…you could wipe Mt. Fuji off the face of the Earth…if you so choose…?"
Aizawa broke out of his thoughts as the question was raised by Izuku Midoriya, and he had to agree as Aizawa could detect a hint of disbelief in Midoriya's tone.
Rosa responded "Yeah, that is what we could do on our own. My husband has access to a mystical weapon that answers only to him and violently rejects any other person attempting to wield it, which could wipe out entire galaxies if he so chooses. But, he left that weapon back…back…"
Rosa's face contorted to confusion as she couldn't remember where Sean had left this galaxy-destroying weapon. Everyone's jaws dropped hearing the destructive power of this weapon that only Sean could command and use. This has to be an exaggeration, they thought, but a silent confirmation from Tsukauchi revealed that was no lie.
Rosa turned to Sean and asked, "Do you know where you left the Quasar Cannon?"
'Quasar Cannon?! That sounds like a weapon of tremendous destructive power if part of the name involves something like a Quasar…' Izuku thought once he heard Rosa name this powerful weapon. But something in the back of his mind felt there was a lot more to this weapon.
Sean thought about the question his wife asked, then said, "I think it was back at our friends' base of operations. I think I left it behind because it emitted an energy signature that could be detected by…the Decepticons, and we couldn't let them know we were there to take…something, before they could use it, whatever it was, to commit evil…and we ended up here in this reality as a result. But, I can't remember how we got on their ship, what was it we were sent to steal from them, how the mission went, and how did we escape from their ship?"
Izuku was amazed hearing that, but he couldn't help but share the couple's frustration over the apparent lapses of their memories. Nezu and Aizawa couldn't help but feel frustrated too, nothing is quite more irritating than not having all the answers.
Aizawa asked, "Do you have some idea of what happened before you awoke on the road to the U.S.J.? Anything at all?"
Rosa pondered after Sean shrugged his shoulders in confusion, she then answered, "I recall a bright flash, the sounds of explosions, shouting from the enemy's forces, and alarms going off. Anything else is a blur in my mind. I don't even know if Sean and I were alone when we did that mission, or if we had a few allies with us…"
"Bright flash, explosions, shouting, and alarms…" Nezu thought aloud as he used his intelligence to figure out on some level what exactly happened.
He then said, "It sounds like you two might have sabotaged something on these 'Decepticons'' ship, something that probably was responsible for you ending up here…"
Sean was in deep thought as he tried to remember what Rosa said in regard to what she recalled, but once Nezu said that, something clicked in his mind.
"Could it be…? Did we somehow escape by using their Groundbridge?" he asked himself.
"Groundbridge?" Tsukauchi asked as he overheard Sean, to which Rosa answered, "A teleportation device that opens up a tunnel from one point to another on a planet, it is a less powerful version of a technology they possess that does the same thing, but being able to transport you anywhere in the universe, provided you have the coordinates…"
Rosa looked at her husband and said, "But, it couldn't be that. We were nowhere near where they kept their Groundbridge controls. I know that for certain…"
Tsukauchi was puzzled over this mystery, and it was clear that because of their missing memories dealing with these 'Decepticon' villains, there was a lot that could spell trouble if anything complicated came to their world.
He said, "Hmm…it's a long shot, but I might know someone who could help us in regards to this. But the problem is that he's a little hard to reach, and there's no guarantee that it will completely solve your memory problems."
Aizawa perked up as he heard this, and replied, "You're not talking about 'him' of all people?"
Tsukauchi replied, "Yes, I still have his latest contact number, but there's no guarantee that if I call him, he will answer. He's become somewhat paranoid due to his Quirk making him some enemies, but no doubt he could give some clarity over their missing memories, as he sees them as they are…"
'Sounds like the Cortical Psychic Patch, this guy's quirk…' Rosa thought, thinking of the tool used by the very enemies her husband named earlier.
The detective sighed as he finished his words, "It is late, so he's likely fast asleep. I'll try to contact him tomorrow but until then…Hashimotos, care to explain in detail what exactly you two could do that a Chinese Dragon could do?"
Sean and Rosa looked at each other and nodded as they explained all the abilities they possess as "dragons", Izuku's questioning on how many of these aspects work specifically made the explanations run longer than they probably should. However, it did take some time for Sean and Rosa to come up with a reasonable background for Agent Oda to implement. Some input from Aizawa, All Might, and Nezu helped explain the background better, and make it better fit in their world so as to not arouse suspicions.
The only wrinkle in this background was how Sean learned how to use Ki, and who his master was that taught him how. Sean said it could be left as is, as he never knew who his master was, and could say with certainty that whoever or whatever he was, he was so blatantly supernatural by nature. Aizawa had issues as the supernatural wasn't regarded as highly these days as they were hundreds of years ago, but relented that it was the best option to explain his ability to use Ki (and in turn how Rosa is able to use Ki as well), by saying it couldn't be properly explained.
1 Hour Later…
U-A High Main Building…
10:45 PM, T.S.T.
It was well into nighttime once things at the police station wrapped up. Sean and Rosa finished their identification papers, and Agent Oda left to take care of the rest, and would keep in touch with Nezu and Detective Tsukauchi for further fortification of the pair's identities. All Might drove Izuku to his home, while Aizawa, Tsukauchi, and Recovery Girl (being offered a ride to her home by the detective) headed off to their homes. Nezu had offered to let Sean and Rosa stay at U-A itself with Chiyo's permission to use the Nurse's office to rest for the night. On the way there, the three had a discussion on how to enroll Sean and Rosa as U-A students, ultimately decided by the pair that they would first want to prove themselves like the rest of the student body, by taking a test.
Once they had arrived, Nezu had walked Sean and Rosa to the Nurse's office, having told the pair that, for tonight, they will sleep in the office. He was glad for the couple's sake they did have changes of clothes on hand, but he understood that the Pokémon Trainers were probably too tired to change.
"I'll let the rest of U-A's faculty know about you two and what I wish from you. But, you have my word that I will keep what we discussed at the police station strictly confidential until you approve of divulging that information. I will see you tomorrow, at my office to begin your test." Nezu said with a smile, continuing, "Fortunate for you I gave my students the day off so we can conduct the test, I was going to use this day to reinforce U-A's security measures and 'beef them up' as some of our students would say. No reason we can't run the test at the same time as beefing up U-A's security…"
Sean and Rosa bowed as they said, "Thank you for your hospitality, Nezu sir…"
Nezu said before he closed the door, "Don't worry about it, come tomorrow, you may end up calling me Principal Nezu in the end…"
The pair looked around the office and it looked like a little more than a nurse's office, the room looked a bit more like a hospital room. There was an awkward silence between the couple for a minute, until…
"So…" Sean asked, a little uneasy given the circumstances, "We gonna sleep in separate beds, or in the same bed? We are married, but we are supposed to be…"
Rosa interrupted her husband as she untied her hair, "I think so we could avoid any problems, we should sleep in separate beds for now, as much as I don't want that…"
Sean walked up and gave his wife a gentle, comforting hug as he said, "Yeah…that makes sense, and it also gives that baggy-eyed fellow, Aizawa-san one less reason to give either us or him trouble. But, I won't lie when I say that I wish we could sleep in the same bed. The last time we did was on our wedding night, what was supposed to be our honeymoon was spent helping our friends from across all of Creation…"
Rosa turned around and tightened her hug, saying, "Yeah, but, at least Satoshi and Serena are looking after our little ones, their daughter is such a cutie. I hope our son and her fall in love in the future…"
Sean gently stroked her hair as he said, "Yeah, I just hope that Palkia could find us…I feel like we are meant to get something really important to our friends. But, I don't know what…"
Rosa cupped her hands on the sides of the young man's face, then said as she gave him a quick kiss on the lips, "We should get to bed and recover our strength. After assuming our half-dragon forms, I am beyond exhausted…okay…?"
Sean nodded silently in response and kissed his wife back, a part of him really didn't want to let go of his sweetheart, but he relented, sensing she felt the same he did. The two walked to their chosen beds and got under the covers as they took off their shoes.
Rosa hummed a little lullaby to herself, which did help in getting the both of them to sleep. Their concerns still wavered within their minds, that the thoughts eventually took the form of somewhat minor nightmares. Not enough to scare them awake, but enough to have a slightly uneasy night of sleep. Sean was used to somewhat restless nights, so he made sure that the love of his entire being had good rest by telepathically soothing her, though she would occasionally chastise him for not getting proper rest.
Hopefully, they will endure anything this reality will throw at them…
—{The Next Day…}—
U-A High, Principal's Office…
8:15 AM, Tokyo Standard Time…
Sean and Rosa stood in front of the desk the hero-program school's principal worked at.
"So…" Sean asked, "What kind of test is needed for us to pass the transfer exchange exam you said?"
Nezu interlocked his digits together as he said, "Truthfully, this idea is so new that, not only have I just gotten approval from the board of education, there isn't even a dedicated test for what I am asking you two to do. This is very much a trial run for you to set for those who will follow in your footsteps. It pains me to say I have yet to come up with a suitable test for exchange transfers…"
Nezu got off his chair and walked to his office windows he continued, "…But as we are pressed for time, even if the U-A Sports Festival was delayed a week or two and not canceled, we had to get a little creative. So, for now, I will have you two take on a smaller-scale version of our entrance exams…chances are high that what we think up with you two could be used to finalize this method of entering U-A come next year, where I am hoping to have it finalized and be official…"
"Oh yeah…I remember that kind of exam…a pain in my butt to take it the first time around…" Rosa said in remembrance.
Nezu chuckled a bit as he guessed, "I assume you mean primarily the written exams? Well, if they are not your strong suit, then you just need to score enough for the bottom line to be met and have the practical makeup for the rest of the passing grade. You insisted on a fair test, and now you have to live with it."
Rosa sighed as did her husband, with the latter asking, "I take it we are starting with the written exam?"
Nezu chuckled as he answered, "Yes. But considering you two are a LONG way from home, and have no knowledge of our home prior, on top of having some memory problems, we will allow you some leniency for this part of the exam (at least for history), and should you get in, we do expect you to know this like you were a native of our dimension. And keep your grades up…"
The two nodded as Nezu handed them exam books, and said, "I took the liberty to highlight certain sections in these textbooks that contain all the answers for your exam, but you will have to memorize it on the exam itself…you have less than half an hour to memorize as much as possible before you are taken to where you will take the written exam itself…"
"And no cheating with our Dragon powers, and that knowledge it grants us…" Sean added like he was expecting Nezu to say that, and if the chuckle escaping him is any indication, he was spot on.
"Well, yes…you did request we test you fairly…we expect you two to not cheat on this test…" Nezu said with a smile.
"Not like we could…" Rosa half-heartedly chuckled, "That knowledge tends to be on a grander-scale side of the spectrum. How the entire universe works and such that our mortal human minds can't comprehend…"
"Oh?" Nezu turned in curiosity, "Well, now I know that, regardless of your passing or failing, I have one reason to still have you here on school grounds…I would like to hear this knowledge from time to time if you wouldn't mind…"
Sean replied as he opened the book, "Yeah, some of that knowledge, according to our friend who is a straight-up deity, she said that some of that knowledge is best left unknown unless you want a crippling existential crisis that, nine out of ten times, ends with suicide…"
"Oh…don't want that now, do we?" Nezu smiled, nodding as he understood what the boy meant.
"Ah! Silly me, I almost forgot…" Nezu said as he returned and held out his paws at the couple, "You wanted the test to be fair, with no room for cheating. Surely you wouldn't mind parting with your magic backpacks for the duration of the exam, would you? After all, not like anyone but you two could reach in and grab whatever is inside…"
Sean sighed with a smile as he and Rosa handed the principal chimera their backpacks, saying, "No, not at all, they may be difficult to damage, but do still take care of them, they've been lifelong companions with us during our journey…"
Nezu saluted, "You have my word–…oof!" the principal realized he forgot he was holding the backpacks and once he saluted, Rosa's backpack hit him square in the chest, knocking the wind out of Nezu.
This earned a few laughs from the couple as they opened the books to begin memorizing the content. Nezu found the pair positively charming, and walked out as he thought aloud…
"Charming couple…I want them to attend so badly, that it would be such a shame for me if they don't pass. I wish them the best of luck, regardless of how much I want them here…"
Sean and Rosa had memorized as much as they could before the time limit was up. They then were guided by Recovery Girl to two separate rooms for the written exam. The rest of the faculty was informed by Nezu at least an hour beforehand about the two and prepped this test to see if they could pass. Rosa had the Art Teacher & R-Rated Pro-Heroine, Midnight (real name: Nemuri Kayama), be the overseer of her written test, but not before the grown woman cooed and admired Rosa's looks. Sean meanwhile had Present Mic (real name: Hizashi Yamada) be his overseer for the written test, the boy made a very favorable first impression to the English Teacher.
The two were told by the teachers that they had until the clock says 9:55 to finish the paper test. While they were told they could write in English to make it easier, Sean and Rosa refused, as they would rather write in Japanese. They looked at the clock to see it said 9:15, so they had forty minutes to complete the written exam, once Midnight and Present Mic gave the pair the go-ahead, the two began.
The test proved a bit more difficult than the two of them anticipated. But, because of her being a very smart student in the past, Rosa ended up finishing the test first with fifteen minutes to spare. After a quick look over by Midnight to make sure no answer was left empty, the woman remarked to Rosa she just might have passed the written test with flying colors if her brief overview is any indicator. Rosa thanked Midnight, and let her know she was going to wait for Sean to finish his written exam, Midnight knew it was because Sean was Rosa's boyfriend and slightly teased her over it.
Sean managed to finish his written test with five minutes to spare, he was pretty certain he didn't do well, as the math problems really stumped him. He turned in his test to Present Mic, who quickly looked over the test. The man asked Sean if Math wasn't his strong suit, and Sean replied it was not, Mic then encouraged him that he still has the practical exam to finish, if he passes this part, it could make the difference in the overall score.
Once Sean left, he was met by his girlfriend, then was flirted by Midnight as she remarked that Rosa landed herself quite a stud for a boyfriend. The act scared Sean and he nervously backed away from the laughing Art Teacher, as she calmed a very jealous and angry Rosa. The two were then told by Shota Aizawa that they will be heading to different test sites for their practicals. It upset Rosa a little that she doesn't get time to congratulate her boyfriend (husband she whispers in her mind) for finishing the written, the two then were driven to the sites of their separate practical exams…
Battle Site Gamma, Practical Exam Location…
10:15 AM, Tokyo Standard Time…
Sean stretched his limbs as he readied for the practical exam portion of his test to start. He could feel his wife's ki tell him she was prepping like he was at her test site, over at Site Epsilon. They got the rundown from Aizawa and Hizashi, aka Present Mic, after the couple finished the written test. So they were waiting for the missing element of their test to be finished setting up.
Sean had enormous faith that his wife would pass with no problem, as between the two during their first run in high school, Rosa had overall higher grades than him. He had a little doubt that he did well enough for the written exam, but not enough to pass, so he had to rely on passing the practical exam with flying colors, to get the passing grade to enter U-A as a student.
As a newlywed, he felt very anxious to be away from his wife, especially as they both agreed that they should play the part of boyfriend/girlfriend as students, as saying they're married might draw too much attention to who they are. He rubbed his ring finger where his wedding ring was, feeling a little naked without it there, but feeling his wife's ki told him she felt similar feelings to him.
"Alright, look Hashimoto. Worrying will get you nowhere, and it won't help Rosa. So, you need to focus, and make sure she doesn't worry about you…" Sean said to himself, deciding he will meditate before the test begins.
He sat on the asphalt cross-legged, brought his hands together in the shape of an "O", and closed his eyes as he took deep breaths. He soon began floating in the air as a faint aura enveloped him, suspended a foot off the ground as his meditation made his ki lift him as he focused. His meditation was passive and not a true meditation as he was trained under, it was so he wouldn't be cut off from anything, like sensing his wife's energy, or missing the prompt that the practical exam started.
Meanwhile…
At Battle Site Epsilon, 10:16 AM, Tokyo Standard Time…
Rosa stretched and flexed her body to get it nice and limber, she felt her joints pop, and her muscles poised and ready for a workout.
She let out a sigh as she then noticed her long hair in front of her face. She thought it might be a hindrance for this part of the exam, so she undid her double-bun pigtails style and let loose her hair, cascading into a long brown river that reached below her hips. She grabbed one of her hair ties and held it in her mouth as she grabbed her hair behind her face and readied to put it in a ponytail. Once she got her hair in a ponytail, she wrapped the ponytail into a bun and used her second hair tie to hold her hair bun into place. Once she was satisfied with her work, Rosa continued her stretches.
'Okay, I know I got top marks on that written exam. I gotta thank my husband for helping me memorize all the science stuff, because there was not much on the test, and what was on the test was stuff I remember him tutoring me on years ago. I hope he doesn't struggle too much on the math part of the exam.' Rosa thought in her mind, arching her back with arms stretched as far as they could go.
She put on a serious face as she readied to take off the minute the practical begins, and thought, 'Now, I have to do well enough for this part and I'll pass. Hopefully Sean, in the event the math parts got to him and lowered his grade for the written, he should aim to make an outstanding score for this practical…good luck, my dearly beloved…'
Battle Site Gamma, 10:19 AM, T.S.T.
Sean correctly guessed that Rosa was wishing him good luck, and wished her luck as well. From what he could remember, the practical starts at 10:20, a minute from now.
He got out of his meditative state and began stretching, which he took to review what the practical test…

#Practical Test Rundown#
There are faux villains running around this test city, there isn't a clear number, and there are four types, each numbering one point, two points, & three points. The fourth type of villain was worth zero points and is largely meant to be an obstacle, with Present Mic comparing the faux villains to the enemies of the Super Mario Bros games, the Zero Pointers being the "Thwomps" in this scenario. No rule exists that says you couldn't take on the Zero Pointers, but it is meant to be an obstacle at best, and a distraction at worst. He figured there was something more as for this test, it had one key feature to differentiate from the Entrance Exam test the rest of the students took…
This exercise has faux civilians in the city, represented by some of the utility bots getting ready to be recycled or upgraded. Sean quickly figured out there was likely a system in place for rescues, glad that this aspect of superhero work wasn't neglected. He guessed that the total score was a compiling of the villain takedowns and the saving of others, likely evaluated by a panel of judges as Sean figured the faculty were watching the practical test…
{-}
He smirked as he knew that, regardless of whether he didn't do excellent in the Written Portion of the test, he had loads of experience in combat and rescue. And he could tell that Rosa reached the same conclusion…
Present Mic spoke through a nearby speaker to the two, "Let's Go! There's no–…"
Both husband and wife respectively took off like rockets the very second Present Mic gave the all-clear, before he could finish. The teachers watching the pair were astonished at the speed the two moved. They cleared about fifty meters from the gate, crossing that much distance in about two seconds, surprising the judges at the speed of their response.
Sean noticed one old-looking utility bot cleaning a window and then saw one of the faux villains in the form of a robot rushing out of an alley.
'These faux villains seemed to be made to be destroyed by those with powers suited for combat. But, I have a feeling they have other methods to rack up points for those who seek to be heroes but perhaps do not have the best power for the task, like that invisible girl…' Sean thought, as he saw the villain ready to strike the utility bot stand-in.
Sean quickly caught the arm of the faux villain and smirked as he thought, 'Well, killing should be used as a last resort, which wrecking these things would count as such, so I think I will just disable the villains…'
Sean then quickly located a weak point in the robot's armor and struck there in a manner that paralyzed the machine long enough for the young man to find the off-switch and use it to deactivate the robot.
"Not a bad idea, but I think for future exams, the goal should be to disable the faux villains instead of destroying them. Kinda sends the wrong message to destroy them…" Sean remarked, as he put on his game face and used his enhanced senses to locate more faux villains and civilians.
Judge's Room, 10:21 AM, T.S.T.
Inside the judging room, Nezu perked up as he overheard what Sean said and remarked, "Ho! Now that's an idea, Hashimoto!"
"What did he say?" Aizawa asked, as unfortunately, Nezu was the only one who could hear both Sean and Rosa. The rat insisted on keeping the true secret about them from the other teachers for now.
Nezu chuckled to himself as he spoke to the Support-Course's teacher, Power Loader (real name Higari Majima), "Majima, I want you to make a note for any and all future exams. Anyone looking to enter the hero course should disable the faux villains instead of destroying them, I'm ashamed I didn't even think of it before…"
Aizawa's eyes widened as Sean had given Nezu a good idea for future exams period, even the 1-A homeroom teacher thinks it is a good idea. He heard Midnight remark with (in his opinion) a disturbingly sultry voice, "Ooo, street smart on top of being such a delectable and yummy-looking young man? Oh, how I wish I was younger or he older, he's just my type…"
"Do you not hear yourself, Kayama…?" Aizawa groaned as the last thing he needed was a teacher going after a student, sexually.
"I know, rather get that out of my system than let it fester in my mind and come out at a more inappropriate moment…" Midnight replied, but Aizawa was not convinced as the Art Teacher still looked at Sean Hashimoto with a slightly dreamy, longing expression.
The faculty watched the footage for this transfer test for two very promising prospects. It had barely been a minute and Sean had already amassed 19 villain points, and 32 rescue points. Rosa slightly lagged behind at first, but she quickly gained more traction as she just now amassed 18 villain points, and by saving five of the faux civilians at once, obtained 48 rescue points. What made the scoring even more impressive to the judges is that the two didn't destroy any of the faux villains, and the faux civilians didn't have a single scratch that wasn't already on them when the test began. This made the teachers think that faux civilians are not just a nice bonus for smaller turnouts, but maybe something they could implement in future Entrance Exams.
This was very promising indeed, they all collectively thought…
Battle Site Epsilon, 10:23 AM, T.S.T.
At Site Episilon, Rosa blocked a strike from a faux villain worth three points with one arm, then she used her free arm to deliver a shockwave that rattled the robot and sent it back several feet. Before it could recover, she quickly charged at the machine, making it panic a little and try to strike at her. But Rosa leaped over its head, then she located the off switch and pressed the shut-off button, making the faux villain slump to the ground.
Rosa landed in a crouching position very similar to a certain beloved spider-themed superhero, she let out a quick breath as she said to herself, "Okay, it's pretty obvious that on top of taking villains down, they are also seeing how well me and Sean do in rescuing others. I had amassed 38 villain points so far."
She got upright in a thinking position as she pondered, "Perhaps there's a way I could do this more quickly and efficiently. I should step it up a couple of notches, and it is the perfect time to test out my limits with the technique…"
Battle Site Gamma, At the Same Time…
"Kaio-Ken!"
Sean powered up a standard Kaio-Ken technique as he took a different approach to taking down all the faux villains. He first located and rescued the faux civilians and gathered them in a building, then being able to move fast enough to appear invisible, took all the civilian stand-ins to another location close to the outside of the site. This worked as the faux villains, programmed to attack the faux civilians all converged to the building Sean had initially taken the utility bots.
Sean powered up once he was absolutely sure there were no innocents in harm's way, then he delivered an earth-shattering punch that generated shockwaves that buckled the fake skyscraper under its weight. The act kicked up a lot of dust that blinded the faux villains, then using his powerful senses, was able to quickly and efficiently deactivate the faux villains surrounding the building he collapsed. Once the dust cleared, all the fake villain robots were on the ground, several had a few scrapes and dents on their chassis because of the debris from the collapsed building. But, what was important was that the "villains" were still in working order.
"I have yet to see the Zero Pointer, but if its designation of being an obstacle is any clue, it probably is meant to be something imposing compared to the rest of these faux villains…" Sean thought aloud. Which, back in the Judging Room, Nezu chuckled as he said…
"My, smart these two are. I think now is the time to see what they are capable of…"
Nezu pressed the button on his seat, and activated the Zero Pointers, now was the time to see what Sean and Rosa were truly capable of in this test.
Both Sean and Rosa in their testing sites saw the Zero Pointers coming at them. Both were surprised, Rosa more so as she compared the Zero Pointer to a Transformers Combiner, like the Constructicon Gestalt, Devastator. But they quickly recovered as they instantly charged at the giant machines, surprising the judges observing the test.
"They didn't even hesitate, and they charged right at the Thwomps!" Present Mic remarked in surprise.
From the footage, they saw why the two didn't hesitate to charge at the Zero Pointers. More of the faux civilians fled from the giant once it appeared. From that footage, they saw Rosa launch a blast that blinded her Zero Pointer with a smokescreen, while for Sean's obstacle, the boy blocked his Zero Pointer with his arms over his head.
Rosa ran along the Zero Pointer's body, fast enough to seemingly defy gravity as the behemoth machine tried to capture her. But, the young girl kept sending Ki blasts along its approximation of a face to blind the giant, and from its shoulder, Rosa used the Zero Pointer's arm as a spring to jump over a hundred feet into the air above the already skyscraper-sized machine.
'Heh. Wow, it's still so surreal that I could perform superhuman feats like in all the anime I saw in my childhood. I could barely clear two feet, and I could jump so much higher now.'
Rosa giggled to herself in disbelief over what she could do now, when her adventure started years ago, she was just a simple Pokémon Trainer. No superpowers, no magic, just an ordinary human. But by traveling with the man who ended up being her husband, she felt like plenty of the protagonists from all those imaginative stories she knew (especially Isekai stories). How they must have felt when they found they had unbelievable powers that outstripped them from all other people, Rosa could feel at this very moment. But the time to reminisce is for later as she focused on disabling the Zero Pointer, trying to locate its deactivation switch.
She tried to utilize her very sharp eyes to scan the Zero Pointer and then spotted a power box on the side of its head. She smiled slightly smugly as she felt gravity's pull on her body as she descended from the sky. The Zero Pointer turned its head around to look for the girl it was supposed to stop, but by the time it thought to look up, it was too late. Rosa delivered an ax kick strong enough to make the Zero Pointer collapse onto the ground and rattle its insides, rendering the machine unable to get up. Rosa landed on her feet with grace on a nearby lamppost, then leaped to the power box while it was down. She quickly reached the power box tore the cover off of the machine and saw a switch.
Rosa quickly pulled it and the Zero Pointer slumped to the ground, like all the other faux villains she took down. Rosa took deep breaths as she put a bit of effort into that kick, gathering enough power to knock the giant machine to the ground, but holding back enough to not outright destroy it. The process took more willpower than she thought she could manage, but the girl was confident she did okay, taking a quick breather as the faux civilians gathered around the deactivated Zero Pointer.
Meanwhile, Sean had used momentum to knock his Zero Pointer back several meters backwards, and knock the machine onto its back. The boy noticed the same power box on the giant, but it was located elsewhere compared to Rosa's Zero Pointer.
The machine wouldn't let Sean reach the power box, which proved more difficult than the young boy had expected. But, the difficulty had the opposite effect on his motivation, instead of discouraging Sean, the boy felt excited as he found the challenge intriguing. But, the grin that was threatening to form on his face quickly shifted to a more serious expression as he felt that the test was going to wrap up very soon. So he needed to end his fight with the Zero Pointer quickly.
Deciding to pull out one trick up his sleeve, Sean rubbed his hands together at a rapid pace as static electricity began forming from his hands. The teachers judging the test noticed and were curious. Sean generated crackling electricity that clung to his hands, and then with a shout, he crashed them together in a thunderous clap. The action generated shockwaves that carried the electricity in pulses that crashed onto the Zero Pointer, making the giant machine sputter and spark as it twitched uncontrollably. The clap had enough force to shatter the windows of the fake buildings around the Zero Pointer, raining shards of glass onto the street below. The giant machine, after feeling the full brunt of the attack Sean sent at it, slumped as all its mechanical functions ceased operating.
"An Electromagnetic Pulse?! That boy could generate one all on his own?!" Power Loader had gawked, especially as one video feed from the Zero Pointer's perspective went to static before shutting off completely.
Nezu had a huge smile as he remarked, "Oh my! That is quite a technique, to use your own energy to generate an EMP powerful enough to render our Zero-Point faux villain to shut off. The power behind to do the feat as well, my, that is something to behold…"
Utilizing a camera feed from a drone, they saw Sean land right on the downed Zero Pointer, inspecting the giant machine for how extensive the damage was.
Sean looked over the behemoth and commented to himself, a little nervous, "Did I, maybe, put too much power into that strike?"
He inspected the power box he couldn't get to earlier, and opened it to see the controls charred black and billowing little wisps of smoke. He figured this thing must be insulated from electricity, so a weak EMP burst might not have been enough to stun the faux villain machine, so he put a little more juice into the strike. He was still holding back on using a full-power EMP burst, but even one where he put a little more effort wouldn't normally do this to any machine.
Sean wryly remarked, "Yeah, I put too much power into that technique…"
One of the faux civilians rolled up to Sean as Present Mic spoke through it, "Time's up! You did remarkably well Hashimoto, your girlfriend too…"
Sean nodded as he apologized, "Sorry about wrecking this guy. I had a feeling you intended to use it for something…"
"Eh, we'll talk about it once we review your total score," Mic replied through the utility robot, "For now, just head back to the Principal's office to hear your results…"
Sean nodded in confirmation and began walking to the entrance, but as he did, he looked back at the downed obstacle he wrecked and thought, 'Something's not quite right. The power I generated shouldn't have been able to do that, when I used that technique before, it always stunned machines. It did not wreck them like that. Maybe, that's a warning bell of things not quite being right. Maybe…'
Sean sighed as soon as he crossed the gates to his ride back to the main campus, and finished his thoughts, 'I feel I should let Nezu know about this, Rosa and I should probably test ourselves to see what our power is like in this world we find ourselves in. I never noticed until now, but there's a possibility that we might be stronger than we initially thought here, and we have to be careful to, perhaps, not destroy the planet accidentally if that is any indication…'
He looked at his watch and found that it said the time was 11:25, he figured they finished the test early because they had seen everything they needed. While he would take this time to review what he could do better in this scenario, right now, his thoughts were occupied with reuniting with his wife (girlfriend as far as their cover is concerned), eager to hold Rosa in his arms again…
Judging Room, U-A High…
2:00 PM, Tokyo Standard Time…
"So…what do you think of these two…?"
The rest of the U-A faculty looked to Nezu as they reviewed the footage of Hashimoto and Parker.
"Their strength is absurd if I'm honest…" Ectoplasm started the discussion, "Hard to imagine they were the black and white vigilantes that rescued Class 1-A at the U.S.J., and the both of them didn't hesitate to face the Zero Pointers and took them down without damaging them, well, one of them did. Or any of the faux villains. Even though the boy leveled an entire building, it was like they knew that we intended for the Zero Pointers to be used for the Sports Festival…"
"They didn't even assume those forms during this practical, and they already amassed so many points that, if they took the entrance exam with everyone else, no doubt they would have made everyone else inadequate by comparison. They already surpassed Katsuki Bakugo, the top performer of the Entrance Exam, let alone shattered All Might's record…" Cementoss remarked with fingers interlocked in thought, as All Might chuckled nervously over that.
"Y-yeah, those two have not only dispatched the faux villains without damaging them severely, but they also rescued the faux civilians with no damage sustained on them. It would be very foolish on our part to not have them join the other Hero Course students…" All Might replied, inwardly surprised (and intimidated) by the strength of these two heroes of another reality.
Nezu explained, using the knowledge of their cover he helped create to sell the idea, "Their Quirks are a rather golden find, as it functions like multiple quirks, despite being just the singular one each. Their foresight could be attributed to this Quirk the two share, though I was informed that they don't have complete mastery over this aspect of their Quirk."
Midnight commented, "I'll say, they certainly saved us a lot of money and time rebuilding the faux villains. And they have still yet to show us the full extent of their power…well, the Zero Pointer we pitted against Hashimoto withstanding…"
Vlad King scoffed as he remarked, "The fact they didn't go all out means they weren't taking this seriously. They probably think this is some kind of game…"
The Class 1-B teacher turned to Aizawa as he inquired, "Normally, you would be the first to point this out, Aizawa. Why haven't you…?"
Aizawa looked back and answered, "They didn't go all out because they deemed it unnecessary, Sekijiro. The fact they stopped the villains without damaging them actually shows a great deal of control on their part. I was with Nezu when they explained the full extent of their power, if they really went all out, they feared they would have wiped U-A off the map. And from what I had seen at the U.S.J., there was little room to doubt them. Especially since when they rescued myself and the students, they had very little energy left in their reserves, and collapsed exhausted once the League was chased off…"
Power Loader balked at that and asked, "Wait! You're telling me they did all of that at the U.S.J., and did it already exhausted?!"
Aizawa replied, "Hashimoto likened it to doing intensive training after running a marathon, without taking a breather in between…"
The rest of the teachers were dumbfounded hearing that, it simply broke what's normal, or even broke what they considered not normal, in their world. Nezu had a perfect poker face (due to him already knowing about this), and All Might pretended to be shocked as best he could (as he knew as well), but the rest of the faculty's surprise was genuine.
"If I'm honest…" Thirteen spoke up while raising her hand slightly, "…after what we had seen and what Principal Nezu wants to do, I personally think it would be very dumb for us to not accept them as students, as All Might said. They have something that would benefit the other students to become better pro-heroes; real-world experience…"
Nezu remarked, "That is true, and the primary reason I want them to attend. They could provide insight for Class 1-A & Class 1-B, and potentially the second-and-third-year courses to become better pro-heroes."
Vlad King spoke up, "But they were vigilantes, Nezu Sir! They were ignoring the law!"
Aizawa interrupted, "And you know that some vigilantes help ensure that innocent people don't get hurt when pro-heroes or the police are occupied. As you can see, their control is a godsend in the fact they clearly have the power to deliver untold damage in fighting villains, but they kept the damage to a minimum and dispatched the faux villains without damaging them as most of the students did for the Entrance Exams, and let's not forget the collateral damage from said exams. They can still improve, despite the fact they could do a few things better, so they came here to learn how to be better…"
All Might added, "Besides, the vigilante charges they faced when they allowed themselves to be questioned have been dropped as they prevented what could have been a tragedy. Detective Tsukauchi found out about their backgrounds and found nothing wrong in their records, or from their own words."
Both teachers knew the truth, but until the truth could be divulged to the rest of the faculty at the couple's discretion, they had to withhold it for now.
The judges ultimately decided to pass Sean and Rosa with flying colors for the practical test, with a few even noting they would have given a higher score if possible. Even Vlad King couldn't argue with the results, despite his dislike for these former (as far as he knows) vigilantes. And Aizawa, All Might, and Nezu headed for the Principal's Office to give the two the news on whether they passed, or failed.
Nezu looked at the results with a satisfied smile…;

Nezu felt particularly proud of Rosa's results, he felt that despite being from a world where most humans wouldn't partake in superheroics (he was unaware of how exactly their world works differently from the world he is aware of superficially), Rosa's performance had made her a golden find. Her powers, her academic brilliance, the training she had under Sean, all of that has made her such a one-in-a-million talent, that the principal likened her to Toshinori Yagi to the last time he felt what he is feeling now. Her performance, as he noted in her final score, was so impressive that he would have made her a pro-hero immediately if he had the power to do so. He did notice that the few wrinkles in her impressive test score were likely due to Rosa relying on her husband to cover her weaknesses. His mind quickly figured out that Sean had similarly relied on his wife to cover his weaknesses based on his results.
Nezu sighed, he could work with this and wished the two could have been teachers or teaching assistants, but their physical appearance, and the fact that Rosa was still a pupil to Sean, made that really hard to realistically pull off. He saw their apparent academic weaknesses (excluding the fact that they hailed from another reality, so history was within his predictions,) Sean suffered greatly at any math problem above a certain level, while Rosa appeared to not be the best with science, relying on memory to get such a high score. He did notice that the subjects the two did have trouble with, their partner excelled at, Sean really understood the sciences, while Rosa was obviously a mathematical genius, and figured that in studying, they rely on the other tutoring them to not do poorly on the subject they struggle with, one was better at retaining information than the other.
This made this a little difficult for Nezu, as he wished he could have the two in the same classroom. However, he wanted to expand the accepted applicants to the two hero courses gradually, so he had to inform them that they would be split between 1-A and 1-B. But, where to put them he wondered.
—{An Hour Later}—
The Principal's Office…
3:11 PM, T.S.T.
Sean and Rosa entered the office, hands interlocked with each other in comfort. They finally got an opportunity to congratulate each other on their efforts for the tests, and finally got the opportunity to share their affection with each other after being separated for a good chunk of the day. Due to their cover needing to be maintained for the moment, all this amounted to was quick kisses, and holding hands, although they wished to be a little more affectionate than that.
They walked in and saw Nezu sitting in his chair, and saw All Might and Aizawa sitting on a couch by one side of the table.
"Hashimoto, Parker, please sit…" Nezu stated, his poker face would confuse anyone on what he was thinking, but the pair could tell on some level by reading his Ki.
'Huh, feels weird to be called by my maiden name after several months of using my husband's name. Guess they have to get into the habit of we're around any of the other students…' Rosa thought as she could detect that Nezu's ki indicated he was very pleased.
Sean and Rosa sat on the couch facing opposite of All Might and Aizawa, and Sean soon asked with a sigh, "What did I do wrong? I would rather get the negatives over with first…"
Nezu let out a small chuckle as he said, "Well, I will answer that question after I tell you two that both of you passed the tests we gave you. So, congratulations…"
Both husband and wife leaned in on each other as they gave a quick hug, while Nezu then answered Sean's question, "Well, as for what you did wrong, you obviously struggled with mathematical problems in the written test, and sadly, it had quite a few more than the norm that overall impacted your score. But, you squeaked by to barely pass that portion of the test, Hashimoto…"
Sean cringed and let out a small hiss as he recoiled, he knew those math problems would bite him, but he didn't expect to barely pass. Which means he was dangerously close to failing that written test. He felt Rosa pet his knee to comfort him, and responded by placing his hand on her hand.
"Another problem you had," Nezu continued, "…was in the practical test. Make no mistake, you were exemplary in the practical. But, compared to Parker, you didn't perform as well as her. Some of the faux villains you faced had minor damage on them, and you did wreck the Zero Point Faux Villain by using an electromagnetic pulse that fried its controls. And given your expression when you saw what you did, I take it that doesn't usually happen?"
Sean shook his head and replied, "No, I can generate EMPs quite easily using my powers as a dragon. But, I have great control over how much electrical power I can generate. That pulse I used was strong enough to stun machines, but not outright shut them down, I put just a little more power as I figured it was insulated somewhat from electrical attacks. There might be a slight issue with our full power if we can't figure it out. We would have to test it out, or else we might accidentally destroy the planet at worst…"
Nezu remarked with a hum of surprise, then spoke, "Really? Well, that's not good. We can't have you destroy the Earth by accident. No worries, I will arrange a way for you two to test the limits of your strength…"
Sean bowed and thanked Nezu, "Thank you, Principal Nezu."
Rosa smiled and then asked, "What about me? What did I do wrong?"
Nezu chuckled a little as he answered, "Well, you clearly are not as adept at science as your partner. You still got a high score for that, but it is obvious based on the answers you put down that you are coasting on memory from material you were tutored by Hashimoto on, correct?"
Rosa nodded silently, wishing internally to overcome this weakness for the sake of her goal.
The chimera principal noticed her body language and figured it would probably be something he should ask at a later time.
"That was your shortcoming for the written test, as for your practical test," Nezu continued, a smile on his face, "You were exemplary, by far the best performance in this school's history. You had managed to achieve a perfect score in Rescue Points, one-half of the practical's overall scoring system. You even impressed Aizawa-sensei, which is a rarity, as you achieved what not even All Might could do when he took the test as a student…"
"A perfect score in Rescue Points? I knew there was more to that test…" Sean replied as he gave his girlfriend (as far as their cover was concerned) a tight hug while the young woman was a little shocked.
"As a matter of fact, factoring in if the two of you took the Entrance Exams like the other students, you two would have shattered school records. With you, Parker, achieving the highest score the school had ever seen, breaking All Might's record under those circumstances." Aizawa said, with All Might adding jovially after recoiling in shock,
"Indeed, had you taken the Entrance Exam's practical test, your final score would have been 126, twenty-six points more than my record of 100! I still hold that record considering the circumstances, but I will not deny that you two were far superior to me…"
"So, you're saying that Rosa got the higher overall score between the two of us?" Sean asked, ignoring the Symbol of Peace's knotowing.
Nezu handed the two of them their results in their final scores, as he said, "See for yourself…"
Rosa recoiled as she exclaimed, "Two Hundred and Thirty-Six Points?!"
Sean looked at his wife with an equally shocked expression as he remarked, "Seriously!? I only got a hundred ninety-five, I'm happy you got such a high score, Rosa. But, I am also really upset you got a higher score than me…"
Rosa registered what Sean said, then teased her beau with a smug look as she remarked in an equally teasing tone, "Hmm…looks like I beat you in another contest, darling~!"
Sean was beet-red as he replied in a grumble, trying his best to ignore his wife playfully poking his cheekbone, "Why are you like this every time there's a competition where you come out on top…?"
Rosa huffed out an answer like it was obvious, "Because you have always beaten me in those other competitions. And, ooh, does defeat make my blood boil, especially from you!"
Aizawa interrupted as he asked, "I think I am missing something here. What is…this…all about?"
Aizawa gestured to the pair as they stared at the teacher like he had a third eye on his face. They looked at each other as Rosa answered his question,
"Oh, that whole deal with me lording over Sean over the fact that I beat him as far as being number one in the tests? That's because even though we are friends who later became husband and wife, the two of us are still rivals in most competitive challenges. We are Pokémon Trainers after all, so of course we are rivals who are still friends and more…"
Sean added, "Yeah, I am very competitive, but nowhere near as competitive as Rosa. I am man enough to admit she is my superior in almost every capacity, as a Pokémon Trainer, in academics, in acting, and even in puzzle-solving. But, in most cases, I still beat her because I have more experience than her in some of those cases…"
Aizawa was surprised as he asked, "Acting?"
Sean answered, "Yeah, acting. I can throw my voice around enough to fool voice recognition systems. But she's good enough to make a career out of it, whether as a film actress, or for undercover work. She has experience in both."
Aizawa asked the girl, "Could you give us a quick demonstration?"
Rosa replied, "Uh, yeah. But, for me to give you a better idea, how about you three give me examples for me to act with…"
Nezu, All Might, and Aizawa all gave examples for Rosa to act with, and she managed to wow them with how convincing she was in the quick little roles they gave her. Nezu gave her the challenge of acting like a scientist with a Ph.D., and while he didn't specify what field, and knowing the science she tried to explain was of a pseudo-science variety, Rosa did convince him she was a scientist with her acting. Aizawa gave her a quick rundown of a typical cover for underground work, and he was wowed by how seamless she was at the task through her acting alone. All Might give her a real challenge by having her act like a villainous mastermind, and he is shocked by how convincing she is in the role he gives her, Rosa's small performance as a villainous mastermind was convincing enough to where, on reflex, he readied to fight her like she was, an old enemy of his past. Nezu managed to stop him before he could do anything he'd regret, and the chimera was also a little spooked by how convincing she was with All Might's acting challenge.
"Wow, I'll say you have a talent for acting, Parker. And while I am pleased, and admittedly a little spooked, on how you executed the quick challenges we gave you, I am more interested in your 'puzzle-solving' as your partner described." Nezu said, curious by just how good of a puzzle-solver she was.
"She could solve a nine-sided Rubix cube. That's how much of a level Rosa is as a puzzle-solver…" Sean replied, to All Might's shock as the girl turned to her husband and retorted, "I'm not THAT good, but to be fair, most of the puzzles I was able to solve are of the…'escape room & ancient tomb' variety, for lack of a better term."
Nezu was immensely curious now, as he wanted to see what puzzles he could come up with to test this part of her.
Rosa then added, "But, Sean's an expert strategist, coming from a long line of military strategists dating back to the days of Oda Nobunaga…and before we ended up here in this reality, he definitely put that to good use. Outwitting some real schemers of villains if given enough information."
All Might looked at Sean like he was a godsend, internally wishing that he was around when All For One was still a great threat, Sean could've outwitted him, and maybe his master would still be alive. The pro-hero then looked at Rosa with a slightly forlorn look, as again, he couldn't help but see his master in Rosa's face. When Rosa was in her 'half-dragon' form, her facial features were a dead ringer for Nana Shimura, and as the girl currently looked, he guessed, might have been what his master and predecessor looked like as a teenager.
Rosa noticed and touched her face repeatedly as she asked the Symbol of Peace, "Is there something on my face? You're staring at me, All Might…"
All Might coughed in surprise as he apologized, "S-sorry about that! It's just, you have a very uncanny resemblance to someone I knew from a long time ago. Someone who was like a mother to me, before she died…"
Rosa sighed as she said, "I don't mind all that much, I could even be a variant, or counterpart if you will, of this person you cared about. But, I want you to know that even if that is true, I am not who you think I resemble. I am my own person, and I am no replacement for whoever you missed. So please, do not mistake me for this person, okay?"
All Might nodded as he remarked, "Yeah, I understand…"
The number one hero of Japan was glad Rosa didn't mind too much for him seeing his master in her, and was a little hopeful if she was indeed a counterpart of Nana Shimura from another universe, that he was happy that she was happy and living a (relatively) peaceful life.
Nezu eventually told them which classes the two were assigned. After the pair paid for the tuition fee using a chunk of Platinum they had a piece inside their magic backpacks…
'I am certain they would flourish in the opposite classes I assigned them to, but, I feel they are needed most in the classrooms I chose for them…' Nezu thought as he directed the two to get their school uniforms, having expected that the both of them would pass, he had their measurements taken and handed them off to get the uniforms made.
He inwardly lamented he couldn't get the both of them to be in the same classroom, but he stuck to his guns about introducing more hero-course students gradually…
Meanwhile…
Sean and Rosa were walking down the hallway, noticing that there were some students walking down the halls.
"Given we were told that there were no classes today because of that incident at the U.S.J., chances are likely that these students are here to seek advice or help from the teachers…" Sean thought aloud in a quiet tone that could only be heard by his wife.
She responded with an equally quiet tone, "To think, these are our classmates for the foreseeable future, at least until our friends could find us."
"Which could be a while, as I could barely feel the presence of the strongest of our friends, even Palkia or Dialga. And given what we could remember, Palkia likely has her attention spread thin…" Sean added to Rosa's statement, but folded his arms in introspection as he continued, "I don't know why, but something is telling me we are going to be here a lot longer than when we were in Equestria. Still, considering this is Palkia we're talking about, she's likely trying to multitask and put finding us as one of them."
Rosa nervously laughed as she remarked, "Y-yeah…Palkia, she's…err…she's, very…attached to us. Not unlike a girl would be her favorite Barbie doll, it kinda makes me feel…uncomfortable at times…"
Sean knew what his wife meant, recalling the numerous instances the aforementioned deity was pretty clear on what she thought of them.
As the pair headed off outside of U-A to get their uniforms, they were unaware of a few people watching them.
"So…those are the two you told me about, Midoriya?" Tenya Iida asked his friend, to which Izuku answered, "Yeah Iida, that's them. Principal Nezu wanted to let you know about them and what their deal is…"
"Very well, let's make haste to the Principal's Office…" Iida said as he and Izuku headed for the office, walking past Toshinori Yagi aka All Might, not buff.
—{The Next Day…}—
U-A High Main Building…
9:00 AM, Tokyo Standard Time…
Tenya Iida was early to arrive at the classroom, feeling it was his duty as Class 1-A's Representative. It gave him a little more time to process what he was told about the vigilantes who rescued his class from the League of Villains. He was floored that the Multiverse was real, parallel universes existed, and the vigilantes were now attending their classes as part of a cover until they could return home or their friends, great heroes of all of Creation, could find them. He felt a little sorry for them that they had no clue how they arrived in his universe, but until they gave their consent, he was trusted to keep their true nature a secret from everyone, even his classmates. What floored him the most was that the world they called home was a fictional franchise in his universe, the Pokémon universe, and that they were the player avatars of the really old games of the early 21st Century; Mei & Hibiki (Rosa & Ethan in English speaking countries), he was meeting literal characters from fiction.
Or at least, he will re-meet one of them for today, hearing how both of them were divided between 1-A, and the sister first-year hero course, 1-B.
Eventually, as those thoughts occupied his mind, the rest of his classmates came trickling in. He noticed once the chatter of his classmates got loud enough to merit his attention, and took note of who was present.
'So Midoriya, Bakugo, and Uraraka have yet to arrive? Hmm, I wonder what got them held up?' Iida thought, somewhat ignoring the gossip that the class' social butterfly, Mina Ashido, was sharing with most of the students here.
Bakugo was late on arrival due to a lack of sleep last night, cursing himself for oversleeping in the morning due to nightmares last night. He was rushing past the rest of U-A's student body, growling out orders for them to get out of his way. He eventually made it to Class 1-A five minutes before homeroom started, and took his seat.
When it was just a minute before homeroom started, Izuku and Ochako rushed in the door, exclaiming "Made it!" in unison to each other.
Iida walked over and asked, "Usually, you two never arrive this close to homeroom's start. What exactly happened?"
Izuku replied honestly, "W-well…All Might wanted to speak to me about my injuries from the U.S.J., and make doubly sure I paid Recovery Girl a visit."
Iida nodded as this was a valid excuse, especially as he was aware that All Might was part of the "inner circle" that was about the visitors from another universe.
Ochako then gave her excuse, "As for me…Honestly, nightmares kept me up last night, and I overslept a little as a result. I arrived about seven minutes ago, thank God, but a teacher noticed me and asked for my help in moving something heavy with my quirk. I ran into Deku shortly before we both rushed into the classroom."
Iida replied, "Ah yes, of course. I would be lying if I said that I didn't have nightmares keeping me up at night. Make sure you two get proper rest, as inadequate rest results in poor academic performances…"
The three laughed a little as they sat in their seats, and then overheard one interesting bit of gossip from Ashido and Hagakure.
"Hey! Have you heard Principal Nezu is expanding the applicants for the Hero Course classes by one?" Mina said with a chirpy voice.
"I heard!" Toru Hagakure replied, "I hear the first additional applicants are gonna be foreign transfers that he called over and invited himself. I got to see one of them."
"Really?" Kirishima asked, "Well, don't leave us hanging Hagakure. What are they like?"
Bakugo could care less about the gossip, but he was curious about these transfers. If the principal himself invited them, then they must be a cut above the rest. And that sounded like an obstacle to his goal of being the Number One Pro-Hero, like All Might.
Outside the classroom in the hallway, Aizawa was heading to start homeroom, followed by one of the new transfers.
He turned to the new charge under his tutelage and instructed, "Wait here by the door until I give the signal for you to enter."
"Got it, Aizawa-sensei…"
Toru let out a swooning sigh as she answered Kirishima, "I didn't get a good enough look to remember looks specifically, but I could instantly tell he was the hottest guy I had ever seen. *sigh* He was so handsome…"
Mina asked, her curiosity piqued, "Really?! How hot are we talking, Hagakure? Actor hot? Model hot? Or Boyband hot?"
Toru was about to answer, but the door opened and everyone saw it was their homeroom teacher, looking a little tired (as usual) as he set some folders on the teacher's desk.
"Sit down…" Aizawa ordered, only to notice everyone was already in their seats, silent.
"Good," he sighed as he braced for what he knew was coming, "You are learning. And I appreciate your silence because I have an announcement or two to give you."
Izuku was the only one who knew that either Rosa or Sean was going to be in his classroom and figured one of the announcements was their new classmate, whoever of the two they turned out to be.
"So, what news do you have Aizawa-sensei?" Iida asked with a raised hand.
Aizawa sighed as he said, "Very well. I know that you all survived a villain attack at the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, and despite the arrival of the Black and White Vigilantes, you think you are all that. Well, let me tell you that under normal circumstances, you wouldn't encounter villains until your second and third years here at U-A. Do not get inflated egos just because you fought back some street-level thugs. Because, now you will face the biggest challenge in your lives…"
'Not another Quirk Assessment Test!' they all thought in unison, worried about another chance at expulsion from U-A.
Aizawa finished, "Though delayed for a week, the U-A Sports Festival is coming up…"
The classroom erupted in excited cheers as they all thought, about the famous television event they had all seen in their youth. Now, it was their turn to participate in the festival itself.
"I don't mean to bring down the mood, but is it a good idea to continue the Sports Festival after the recent villain attack?" Kyoka Jiro asked with a raised arm.
Aizawa addressed this concern by answering, "Understandable, there were concerns lobbied about that, I assure you. But, we pressed on for two reasons. First, if we cancel the Sports Festival, all I can say is that it would cut out one opportunity for all grades to be scouted, including all of you. Second, Principal Nezu assured this was the right call to not have the public panic, and advertise that the school had dealt with the problem."
Aizawa finished with an annoyed expression, "There are those who did not budge on this decision, so a compromise was made where the Sports Festival was delayed for one week. I was among those who insisted we press on, but it does give the school an opportunity to beef up security for the event, in case any villains decide to press their luck with a bit of terrorism…"
Everyone chatted among themselves about this, a few were disappointed the Sports Festival was delayed, whereas if it was pressed on, tomorrow would have been their time to participate.
The underground pro-hero sighed as he quieted his class down, as he thought in his head, 'I really don't get paid enough to deal with this crap…'
Aizawa soon explained, "The U-A Sports Festival is the most televised event in Japan and the greater world to an extent. Before the advent of Quirks, it was the Olympics, it is a mere shadow compared to viewership. This is more than a competition to strut your stuff, this is also your chance to get noticed by pros, for internships. Their interest in you is only lasting as long as you take this seriously. If you do well, more opportunities open up to you, if your performance wanes, the opposite will happen. You may even be removed from their interest in favor of someone younger and more promising. During your tenure at U-A, you have three chances, one for each year, to wow other pros. Do I make myself clear?"
"Yes, sensei!" everyone in the classroom said in unison.
"Good…" Aizawa said with a nod, now deciding to rip the bandage off of what he was sure they had heard about by now.
"Now, I am sure you all have heard rumors about Principal Nezu expanding the number of applicants in the Hero Courses from the initial 20…" Aizawa inquired rhetorically, "Well, I will dispel those rumors now. They are true, and our class will be the one to house one of these additional applicants you might have heard about…"
This came as a shock to everyone, especially when they heard that their class was going to be the one with this new hero course student.
"Why the hell are we going to get another extra in this class?" Bakugo asked in a somewhat reserved voice from his usual shtick. Bakugo even sounded like, to Midoriya's ears, that Bakugo didn't want their teacher to hear him.
Aizawa replied to the whispers and excited remarks, "Some of you are probably wondering why our class specifically. Well, we are only getting one new applicant right now, but our principal wishes and hopes that, at least by the end of this year, both Class 1-A & Class 1-B will house 25 students at minimum. He hopes this slow-burn introduction would idealistically have an even 30 by the end, but anticipating pushback, 25 is the expected medium he hopes to have. As for why this is even happening in the first place, it is no secret that All Might and other pros of his generation aren't getting any younger, so Principal Nezu is taking a more precautionary measure, as once they retire or, heaven forbid, die in the line of duty, the U.S.J.-Incident was proof that some villains are gonna get bolder as time moves on, so the institutions are hoping that the peace that All Might had brought about could be maintained…"
"Why though? Why now, instead of, like, ten years ago or something?" Denki asked while Kyoka looked at him like he asked a dumb question.
Aizawa continued amidst the confused chatter of his students to answer Denki Kaminari's question, "Principal Nezu had always thought having twenty hero course students per classroom was too limiting. It worked ten to twenty years ago, but these days, Nezu has a reason for concern about having as many pro heroes ready for something. He's smart and we have little reason to doubt his precautions. The villain attack was a blessing for him to implement this, but he fully expected much pushback for this idea. So, for now, he compromised with the school's shareholders and was allowed one student for the two first-year courses, on the condition that they were from outside the school. Right now, your new classmate is waiting outside to be introduced…"
Everyone was really excited, their new classmate was here already, they expected such news to yield results for tomorrow at least. They couldn't shake their anticipation and wondered what their new classmate was like.
Aizawa glared at his class and all the excitement they generated quieted down. But, the teacher could tell that everyone was very excited to meet this new transfer student adding to their class from 20 to 21. He doesn't get paid enough to care too much, but he would be damned if his class act like a bunch of rabid wild monkeys over a new student.
'And considering the personality of some of these students, I hope there won't be any trouble once those two get acquainted with the others…' Aizawa thought dejectedly, already singling out several troublemakers with regards to interacting with the exchange student.
The underground hero decided to just rip the proverbial bandage off as he spoke to the door and his new student, "You may come in now…"
The door slid open and everyone's gaze was directed at the door and awaited the new student joining them.
"Please be a hot girl. Please be a hot girl. Please be a hot girl!" Mineta, Kaminari, and Sero pleaded in hushed whispers to themselves, the first two most especially.
"Please be that hot guy! Please be that hot guy!" Toru wished with crossed fingers, wishing the really attractive boy she saw earlier was in her class.
'Alright, who's the new extra I have to step over to be the best…' Bakugo snarled as whoever these two new students are, they got in because the principal thought that two exchange students would be good first catches to his initiative to expand the number of students in the hero course.
He expected this new person to be this 'handsome boy' that the invisible chick was raving about seeing. He expected to glare daggers at this new student, but like the rest of his class, he was surprised at the new student as they stepped in, and that new classmate of theirs was a really pretty girl…
The girl was obviously a foreigner, but even Bakugo would be lying if he thought she wasn't really attractive. The class perverts loudly (as one would in a whisper) whooped that their new classmate was a girl and a real hottie to boot. She had long brown hair tied up in double buns with pigtails beside them, tied up by two hair ribbons. The girl had gorgeous cyan eyes like the sky, and her skin was devoid of any blemishes of any kind. And her figure, yeah, if Bakugo was ever a pervert, he would be looking at her like the class perverts are right now, gawking and drooling at the girl like she was a slab of the most delectable steak. She had a curvy, hourglass figure that, no thanks to the school uniform, left nothing to the imagination of almost every boy in the room. She had huge breasts that looked as big as or even slightly bigger than the class' deputy representative, they looked ready to burst open her shirt, and wide healthy hips suitable for bearing children as "in ye olden days of yore" would say. She carried herself inside with a level of elegance that made it hard for no one, not even the girls to look away at her exotic appeal.
"Hello, I am pleased to meet my future classmates…" she spoke in a voice that made it harder for the class perverts to not get railed on for their antics because even Bakugo had to admit, she even sounded just as pretty as she looked. And she spoke fluently like a native of Japan. The explosive boy is certain in his head he might be blushing, to his sheer embarrassment to being like the "degenerate a-holes" he would never act like even once.
He wasn't the only one, as most of the guys were caught off-guard by how pretty their new classmate was. Bakugo noticed everyone's expressions, as even Icy-Hot (Shoto Todoroki to you and me) blushed a fair bit. He then noticed that the only one who was not like the other guys was Deku, he was still blushing like the other guys, but Bakugo grew suspicious when, compared to all the guys, even himself, Deku's blush was nowhere near as intense as theirs. His thoughts were occupied by how Deku seemed to know about this girl beforehand, and how suspicious he looked.
The girls were wowed by how pretty their new classmate was, ranging from slight jealousy to admiration as some of them were eager to learn beauty tips from her.
Kyoka Jiro blushed a bit as she thought, 'Damn…I want to be jealous of her figure, but she's making me want to be into girls. She's so pretty…'
Aizawa plopped a folder onto his desk and shut everyone up as he said, "This is Rosa Parker, I trust you will treat her with the utmost respect. This is U-A, the most prestigious hero school in Japan and one of the most prestigious in the world, so I expect you to represent our school positively to her and not bring shame to our academy…"
Aizawa glared at every troublemaker in his class as he said that last bit and everyone agreed out of fear, excitement, or a mix of both.
Midoriya and Iida were the only ones who know who Rosa is, but they both had to act like this was the first proper meeting with the latter, and the first meeting period with the former (not that it was hard for Midoriya by seeing such a beautiful woman in his school's uniform…)
Rosa bowed in respect as she said, "I am glad to be here in this school, if you have any questions about me, feel free to ask…"
Aizawa sighed as he thought, 'Hmm…wow, she really is a great actor…she's playing the role of a friendly and composed student well. I'm actually impressed…'
He soon got into his sleeping bag and readied to take a nap, but not before saying, "Until the next class, you have study period for homeroom. I don't care what you do, but keep it quiet so I can get some sleep…"
Aizawa was about to lie down, but Tenya Iida raised his hand and said, "Hold on, Aizawa-sensei! Where will Ms. Parker sit?"
Aizawa groaned quietly as he said, "Parker will sit by Uraraka at her desk for now, until the extra desks arrive…"
Aizawa let Rosa take the teacher's seat for today, then slept as Rosa brought the chair to Ochako's desk.
"You must be Ochako Uraraka…It is such a pleasure for me to meet you…" Rosa said as she sat next to Uraraka.
The bubbly girl stuttered out a response as she was captivated by Rosa's friendly and bright smile, "Ye-ye-yeah! Nice to me-me-meet you…Pa-Parker-chan…"
Rosa was soon crowded by the rest of the students, eager to ask her questions.
'I hope that Sean's meeting with Class 1-B is going more smoothly than mine…' Rosa thought as she nervously sweated.
She was unaware that Sean was in a similar predicament to hers in the other Hero Course classroom.
'Hello~o handsome! Are you on the market…?' a girl with green hair thought as she looked at her new classmate with a slight lovestruck expression.
Sean had a little nervous sweat forming as he recognized the looks everyone was giving him. All the guys, save one, looked at the Pokémon Trainer with jealous ire, while all the girls looked at him with faces crimson and swoonful eyes.
'Just like back in our prior high school experience. Guys hate me, girls want me. Great, just what I need right now…' Sean thought sarcastically, as he was not interested in more of the same he experienced back home.
This was going to be a different kind of challenge for the pair…
To Be Continued…
Author's Notes:
So there you have it, Rosa is in Class 1-A and Sean ended up in Class 1-B…
Well, I think I will tell you upfront that Sean and Rosa have plenty of tricks up their sleeves, and you have already seen hints at a few of these tricks. It doesn't mean that they will use all of them, but is a clue to expect surprises from both of them going forward, especially in major fights coming in the future…
While I expected some of you might have hoped that Sean entered 1-A to teach Midoriya how to use ki (as I hinted that likely happening down the road), and Rosa would enter 1-B to help smooth over the relations between the two classrooms, I decided to flip that preconception. Why that is with Sean in 1-B and Rosa in 1-A, with what I plan to do later on, it made a bit more sense to put them in these classrooms you've seen so far. One of these plans will become really apparent once the Sports Festival kicks into gear.
You know the drill by now, leave reviews on what I did good, what I could do better, suggestions for the future, noting any references I made, potential theories on what I will add, and all that song and dance.
