Hello everyone. I hope you're all well. Things have been rocky at my end. It's been a while though. Since the 5th of October, well. That is just how it goes. We have been working on other stuff. Quite a bit of stuff.

So that is why this took a while.

Like "A Devil's Flock," I started to write this on the airplane to Turkey. I cut my time in between before I started on this one. Plus, we hit turbulence when I wanted to start this chapter.

I forgot the numbers on last chapter.

I got 39 reviews, thank you all for that.

My favorites are now 341 while the followers are at 421. That is not bad, not bad at all.

I don't have much else to add besides that, only that I am looking forward to writing this.

I had to hear back from the previous requester "A Devil's Flock" on a few questions before I could upload this. Hence why it's uploaded at 07/03/2023.

It's a bit unique due this chapter finished on holiday.

Replies to the guest reviews

Guest on chapter 1 on the 9th of October, 2022. The grammar is just fine. I know the requester and he wouldn't allow I would make grievous mistakes. Some small mistakes are one thing. It ain't that bad if you're the only one complaining about it.

Guest on chapter 2 on the 7th of November, 2022. Ever heard of changing the upbringing of a character? Those are what I have done here. And well, I like how it worked out. So I don't mind the whole thing. If you don't like it, don't read it.

Issei rolled back into Kuoh. It wouldn't take so long before the Rating Game would begin and he could start his fight to win back the lovely Rias Gremory.

He had gotten home on time before the Devils would go back. His house still stood there but there was something going on inside of it.

The Fallen Angels felt the same when they got in the house. There was holy energy around the place.

As soon as Issei walked through the door, Issei found that there was a small chest laying on his kitchen table.

The Dragon walked up to it as he knew that whatever was in it, wasn't dangerous. His mouth slowly dropped open as he lifted out two beautifully crafted handguns.

"Issei, what are those?" Kalawarner asked as Issei lifted up the weapons.

"The Jackal. A specially crafted handgun, made by the Church, meant to deal with the monsters. This beauty is a serious upgrade from most Holy Guns that most exorcists use."

He then showed the other handgun.

"His partner, the Casull. He was the standard I got before I needed something with more firepower. The custom handguns were made by a good friend of mine and it's basically an upgraded version of the usual handguns. I left them in Italy for a reason given the fact that Japanese gun laws are stricter than a virgin's asshole." All three scoffed at the notion of it.

Issei had often found it moronic. Those who wanted to own a firearm would get one. Legally or illegally.

He couldn't help but feel a slight bit of irony work up. Shinzo Abe did his best to prevent guns and a self-made one did him in. Just showed how moronic those laws were.

There was a note to it as well which was written in Latin.

"Issei." The Dragon read aloud.

"I heard of your match and your alliances. I do not blame you for going this path. I have sent you the Jackal and Casull as it's better that you use them than they are to collect dust. Put those weapons to good use and I hope to see you again. Michael."

The Fallen Angels were amazed that Issei knew the Archangel. He had a lot more to tell them but found that it was late enough.

"I think we can all agree that we need some sleep. I can't be fighting if I run tired. So that means I sleep alone."

While it deject the women, they couldn't fault him for taking that route.

Inside his room, Issei put his guns aside. It would serve his purpose. He would have to be careful to aim his shots.

Those bullets could easily kill Riser's Peerage and while he wanted to teach their master a lesson, killing them would be a bridge too far.

Night came early enough and Issei was glad that he was roused from his slumber by Raynare. As jitters were flowing through her, it was out of the question she could sleep. It fell on her to wake him up.

"Issei." The Dragon opened his eyes and was greeted by her smiling, comforting face.

"Hey, Ray." He greeted her back as the Fallen beauty helped him to sit up.

"It's nearly time. Asia-chan has also come home. We have to get to the school." Issei couldn't fault her for the time that she had woken him.

Shaking off the blankets, he quickly got dressed in his school uniform. No reason to wear anything special for this one.

The only thing that was out of order was the holster in which he laid the handgun. The door opened and Asia walked in.

The gun had foregone her rosemary but she wore the habit that she had one during her time in the Church.

"Buchou said to wear what we feel most comfortable in. So I went for this." Issei just had a simple smile on his face while he ruffled her hair.

"It suits you, Asia. Now, let's get to school."

After locking the door, Issei flew off with the girls in tow. It would be a major pain if he was to walk around with those weapons.

The trip to the school didn't take too long and they landed in front of the old school building. When inside, they were greeted by the rest of the Occult Research Club. Rias was assorting the last few things for the match, Akeno stood behind like the dutiful [Queen] that she was, Kiba and Koneko were sitting on opposite couches.

Once he walked inside, the group turned to him.

"Issei, Asia-chan. Glad you two are on time."

"Wouldn't miss it for the world." The Dragon said as he walked up to Rias while Asia took her place next to Koneko.

"Rias, there is something that I received when I came home last night." Issei unholstered his handguns and showed them to her. The bombshell didn't dare to touch it.

"What is this?"

"Those weapons, my dear Rias, are the Casull and Jackal. Guns I received from my former place of work. I took it with me so as not to be impolite. Don't worry, I won't be using it too much. I got Joyeuse as well and Albion to help me out. This is gonna be fun."

Rias wished he could share his optimism but she trusted his abilities.

"Glad you brought it to my attention. I also have something for you." Rias handed him a paper with her family's insignia on it.

"This is the magical contact that will allow you to travel with me to the Rating Game. It'll take the number of Pieces that I would need to reincarnate you. It's a bit less of a pain than using replica pieces. Effects can be nefarious." Her voice trailed off as she knew what happened before.

Issei took the paper and looked it over. This would be a great help.

"Thank you, Rias. Is there something else?"

Before she could answer, the door opened, to announce some other guests.

Sona Shitori walked in behind her Tsubaki Shinra and the [Pawn] that Issei recognized as Sarakawa Genshirou. The sandy-haired blonde waved at Issei to greet the older Dragon.

Just like before, he recognized her as the wielder of Vitra.

The Vanishing Dragon nodded back to her while he was keeping her in his sight. Not only due to the fact she was a fellow Dragon. No, because he found her to be a very attractive woman.

"Thank you for doing this, Sona." Rias greeted her oldest friend who adjusted her glasses while she talked.

"You owe me big time for this favor." The Student Council President nodded over to the Fallen Angels.

"Rias asked me to allow you three to watch the match unfold in our clubroom. For that, both of you are in my debt."

Issei's eyes shifted to the other dragon and back to Sona.

"Oh, don't worry. I am sure that we can figure out ways to repay you back for this."

Sona took that answer as good enough.

"We'll be watching and supporting you, Rias. Good luck out there." Sona looked back at Issei who sat on the desk.

"To all of you." The Fallen Angels wished they could kiss Issei before they left but understood the proper decorum that they had to follow.

Obediently, they followed the three Devils. With a last glance, Raynare mouthed the same to the group before she followed Sona.

"We do have an audience though. Sona and her Peerage. That is promising for the future." Akeno commented while Issei stared at the door a bit.

"Well, I hope her favor won't be too unreasonable."

Rias rubbed his hand and none missed the small notice of affection.

"Don't worry. I think we both will enjoy it." Issei hoped the hand would stay there a bit but when a blue magical circle opened, he retracted his own as he realized that Grayfia Lucifuge would enter the room.

The maid looked as impeccable as ever as she stood in the clubroom. All Devils rose and gave a small bow to her while Issei saluted to her.

"Ojou-sama, Issei-sama. I take that explanations have been made about the contract."

"Yes, Grparayfia. Is there some news you bring me?" Rias sat back down while she watched the [Queen] of her older sister.

"Yes, as Sirzechs-sama is watching your match, I am appointed as referee. She sends her regards to you." That news threw Rias for a bit of a loop. She hoped that most were not going to watch her perform. But she should have known her older sister would do so.

"Onee-sama did? Did she say anything?"

"She wishes you the best of luck. And as for you, Issei-sama. She would like to meet you." The Dragon crossed his arms while he leaned on the desk.

"I have plenty of time. We'll figure something out." Grayfia nodded when she watched the young man. While she was displeased by his nature, if even half of what she heard about Issei Hyoudou was true, this young man would be just what they needed.

Inside the luxurious mansion of the Gremory house, two pairs of parents met the others inside.

Despite how their children acted, Zeoticus Gremory had chosen the Phenex Heir on account of how long he and Lord Phenex went back.

"It is a shame that it came to this. But I suppose you heard the news." The Gremory Lord asked his old friend.

"Yes, I did. While I do hope that the outcome isn't changed, this Dragon might be good for Riser. It would help them to start on a better note." Raiser's father looked much like his son but lacked the boorish nature and playboy attitude.

They had many other screens for the Rating Games. Their wives were also seated beside them. Lady Phenex had long blonde hair and wore a nice red dress that fitted her form. Venelana Gremory had her usual white dress on.

She could be mistaken for Rias' sister as her figure was much the same if the hair was also red. It was flaxen brown that hung over her shoulders.

And when someone thought of Rias' sister, a portal opened, and out walked Sirzechs Lucifer as she was now known.

Rias and Sirzechs were often mistaken for each other as they both had the same body type and long hair.

Her outfit looked more like a man with a long formal robe that fitted her body perfectly. It didn't hide the big chest that she had also inherited from Rias.

In human terms, she looked like a college version of her little sister.

The two Lords were about to get up before she waved that away.

"Please, do not get up. I'm not here as Lucifer but as an older sister who wishes to see her little sister's first Rating Game. Especially after what Grayfia told me."

She sat down in an empty chair while signaling a servant for a drink. Her mother however was not so sure about the question. So Venelana walked over to her older daughter.

"You are not going to say anything to Rias. It would help on the encouragement."

Sirzechs sighed when she heard the bits.

"I sent Grayfia her way. That's all I can do now, mother."

"Rias' future is at stake! You have to."

"What else can I do, mother? Rias has the Hakuryuukou on her side. Maybe have some faith in her. I do." And with that, Sirzechs looked over at the young man who sat back on the couch.

Her eyes didn't lie. All the women in the ORC were swooning over this young man. Sirzechs counted her lucky stars that Michael gave her the heads-up.

The super Devil knew all she needed to know about the White Saint. Well, they had some time to tame him. If they could even do that with Issei Hyoudou.

Scene skip

In a remote location of the Devils, one crazy inventor had been working on something new.

"You really think you're the only genius around these parts, Ajuka? But you should know I have been around a whole lot longer for this one."

Azazel, leader of the Grigori and certified mad genius had been working on new technologies but as a side project, had been trying to find a way into the system of the Devils Rating Games.

"What are you talking about, old man?" The voice cut his attention away from his project to his "bodyguard". In actuality, the reason why he had Valina Lucifer with him along, was to prevent the bored Dragon from smashing up the place at home.

His own project had been a top secret that Azazel didn't even dare to share it with her.

Vali was a stunning beauty. Long silver hair that hung onto her ass, a nice gifted chess that came through as part of being a Devil. Her outfit consisted of a green top that struggled to keep that chest contained, a white undershirt, and a black coat that hung over her shoulders, and the pants were the same.

"I have tapped into the Rating Game channels. It helps to kill some time now."

"And why do I have to be happy about that?" Azazel leaned away from the screen and showed to Valina the current display.

"Looks like I found your rival, girl." The Sekiryuutei of that generation walked over to the screen and eyes found Issei who was talking to Rias at that point.

The tips of her mouth pointed upwards and she could feel saliva gathering in them.

"That's him? The White Saint?"

"I take you want to use your own screen to watch this guy?"

Valina didn't answer but skipped over to a new screen where Azazel made the fight appear. His Dragon wouldn't look to any other screen besides Issei Hyoudou.

It was rare that the Heavenly Dragons were born with different genders in one generation. Usually, they were male, both of them.

Females were born in the eons that followed after the destruction of Ddraig and Albion but they were the exception. Not the rule.

Maybe, these two could change their destiny.

Scene skip

Issei knew of course of magical portals and they were a huge help. If also not a big pain to deal with when he had strays to kill.

The light in the room died and it was like they hadn't left the place at all.

"Eh, did something go wrong? We are still here."

Rias shook her head and motioned Asia to look outside. The sky was green and orange and it mixed with other colors.

"They are giving us our home to play with. They are seriously looking down on us." Rias commented but her eyes flickered over to Issei.

"In that case, we get a lot to play with." Issei cracked his knuckles as he looked forward to the beating that was about to commence.

At that point, they heard the voice of Grayfia Lucifuge talk over the skies.

[Hello, everyone. My name is Grayfia Lucifuge, a maid of the house of Gremory. I'll be the referee of this Rating Game between Rias Gremory and Riser Phenex. In the name of my master, Sirzechs Lucifer-sama, I'll be keeping an eye on this match. This battlefield which has been chosen by both Lord Gremory and Lord Phenex is a replica of the school that Rias-sama attends in the human realm, Kuoh Academy. The location to which both teams have been transported will be their base so to speak. Rias-sama's "base" would be the Occult Research Club, in the old school building. Riser-sama's "base" is in the Student Council room, in the new building. For the [Pawns] to use Promotion, they must first enter the enemy's base. Fighting will begin in thirty minutes but between that time, it is allowed to set enchantments.]

Issei had been taken in as [Pawn] but he felt that Promotion wouldn't be needed as he had enough experience already.

"We got half an hour, let's make the most of it. Kiba, Koneko, I want you two to take your Familiars and set out traps. Akeno, take up the high road and plant illusions there. Issei, I'd like your advice on the strategy that I want to use."

The Dragon nodded and walked over to Rias as she handed him a map of the school. The other three Devils made their way outside while Asia stayed behind with the two to watch the conversation.

Rias began to talk and Issei waited and let her talk and finish the conversation on how they would take care of this matter.

There were a few things that Issei couldn't disagree with. Especially since he was fighting under her command. She knew Akeno, Koneko, and Kiba, much better than him while his expertise with Asia was a boon.

He didn't mind the wait while they talked about their strategy. He was all business, there was no room for his usual playboy attitude.

Not if he wanted to keep any of the women he had gained so far.

Frankly, there wasn't much to change for the suggestion. If they stuck to this plan, they could work out just fine.

When the others returned, Issei remained to wait until the call came.

"Okay, everyone. Listen up." Like before, they walked over to Rias and listened to her.

"Riser's strategy hinges on his ability to regenerate. Issei, while you want me to have this victory, your own powers are the counter that I have to hope to fight back against him. Even with you around and if he did the minimum of looking you up, he'll be too proud to change his tactics. For us, we can't afford defensive strategy."

Rias halted and took a breath when her delicate fingers went over the points of interest.

"There are three places that are important. The gym, the school field, and the sports ground. We can't use the latter two as there is no cover. That goes for him as well. He'll use the gym. He'll send a few [Pawns] and maybe some support as a [Rook] or [Knight] your way. He has higher numbers than us. In the long end, he'll hope that the [Pawns] can promote. We are going to stop that."

Her eyes shifted to Issei.

"Issei, you and Koneko are going to take care of the gym. Kiba, you'll be taking the perimeter to prevent other stragglers from coming through. Akeno, you'll be staying back until the gym is secure."

The Yamato Nadeshiko nodded to her [King].

"Asia. I'll remain here and I want you to stay with me. In case, Riser comes out from school. Is that understood?"

"Yes!" The little blond was relieved she could stay back while Issei would keep in mind to thank her to keep it easy for Asia.

Cracking his knuckles, Issei's hands went to his back. Twirling out his hand canons, he was glad he got it. After that, he put them back.

Before he could continue, Grayfia's voice rang over the place.

[The thirty minutes are up. From now on, fighting is allowed. Good luck to you all.]

Showtime was underway.

"Before you leave outside." Rias offered the Peerage six glowing orbs.

"Communication spells so we keep in touch. It also made it so that one can work with you, Issei." The Dragon had to keep track of how much he had to thank Rias and her support.

With that said and done, the Peerage left the house. After making sure that Yuuto and Akeno were in their place, he walked next to Koneko.

The short walk felt nearly natural. Like they were in school.

Issei noticed how Koneko was. Uneasy, afraid, even scared. The Dragon halted her and ruffled her hair as he had done before.

A bit of his energy was pumped into her which helped her to calm her nerves.

"I'm here. I'm with you. Not anywhere else."

The junior nodded to her friend and she hoped that when this was all over, she could ask Issei for more help.

He might be Rias Gremory's savior but for Koneko Toujou, he was her guardian.

Scene skip

Riser was sitting back in the room of the Student Council. It was a good thing that Sona wasn't watching the game playing because if she knew how the Phenex heir was treating her room, the Kaichou would have words for him.

He was still angry with Issei who stood in the way of his prize but it wouldn't matter. He would break that boy like before.

"Onii-sama, shouldn't we prepare?" The voice of his sister brought him back to the room.

"Don't worry, Ravel. Rias had just one shot at this. Why that Issei Hyoudou might be her choice, it isn't like that Dragon can do any harm to me." Ravel wished that her brother did more research on Issei Hyoudou.

While most of his files were classified, there was one name that Ravel found back in the reports.

White Saint.

"That Dragon is also around. Even if he is a juvenile, he'll be quite the powerhouse."

Riser scoffed at the notion.

"Do not worry, sister. He'll be worn down before he makes it out of the first phase."

When Grayfia's voice rang over the school, [The thirty minutes are up. From now on, fighting is allowed. Good luck to you all.], he smirked.

"They might be too weak for you, lovelies but do not hold back! Crush them completely!"

Surrounded by the girls he had captured over the years, Riser was as confident as ever.

"The only reason why we're playing this silly game is to break down Rias' pride. Once I cut down her savior, she'll come to me as you all did."

Scene skip

The gym was the same as before and the inside hadn't even changed.

While the two walked in, they had taken the big stage and just walked around.

They didn't even need to talk. They could feel the presence of the others in the gym.

The light flickered on and when they heard the voice speak

"I know you're there, servants of the Gremory." The two shared another look and shrugged.

"Should we come out? Time to face the music." Issei walked first while Koneko joined him. Before them, it appeared that Rias' guess was right.

Three [Pawns] and one other Piece. Issei guessed she was a [Rook]. That said [Rook] was wearing a traditional Chinese Dress that showed off her body.

The [Pawns] was a set of twins. With gym outfits, they looked a bit cute. The last girl was wearing an haori and she had a stick out.

"Well, it appeared that Riser-sama was right. Sending out her best plan was stupid." Issei loosened his neck.

Using guns wouldn't just do on them. He could take care of the four but it wouldn't do Koneko's confidence any good.

Looking back at the first year, Koneko began to think about who she could take on.

"Chief. I'll be taking care of the [Rook]. Can you occupy the other three?"

He nodded to her as she left his side.

"My name is Xuelan. I'll be your opponent, [Rook]."

"Koneko Toujou. Rias Gremory's servant."

Issei turned over the three other women. This was going to be fun.

[Any need from me, brat?]

'Good to hear from you again. Nah, I'll be using my bare fists on them.'

[Don't be overconfident, Issei. At least, use Joyeuse. Even you can't afford to slip up.]

It was rare that Albion lectured him but the [Sacred Gear] user obeyed without a problem.

Pulling out his sword, the three [Pawns] gulped when they saw the weapon.

Xuelan and Koneko had begun to trade blows. Like her master, Xuelan could use fire but for a Koneko Toujou that had trained under Issei, it was like Xuelan was slow. It didn't even cause an issue to avoid the attacks.

She replied with her own attacks. A savage uppercut stumbled her back while Koneko delivered another kick to the midriff.

Issei pulled out the sword and weighed it on his shoulders.

"So who of you want to go first?" He asked sardonically. None of them were too eager to get close to the sword. He leaned back against the wall of the stage while he eyed the three girls.

Then the haori one made the first move. She moved fast in front of Issei who simply let her come to him.

Issei just watched her jump as his left hand stopped the entire descent. Mira would have preferred it if he hadn't smiled;

That cheerful smirk on his face just promised her what sort of personal hell she would be in. Pulling her along, Issei grabbed up the sword and smashed it down at the defenseless [Pawn].

Grayfia's voice echoed over the place.

[Riser Phenex. One [Pawn] retired.] Issei looked over at the twins who had taken out two weapons which Issei usually wouldn't assume with Devils.

He could hear the motors running behind them and from the looks of it, they had chainsaws.

Briefly, the Dragon wondered why they had such weapons but he didn't hesitate as they came from both ends.

"Rip it apart, rip it apart." He imagined they were usually a bit more chirpy for being able to tear a guy apart with chainsaws.

Issei was not looking forward to being that guy.

Ducking to the right, he used Joyeuse to block the chainsaw. A fist dazed the twin on that side as well. When the other twin came on his left, he moved out of the way for it. Then with his open hand on the left side, he grabbed her and smashed her, face down onto her sister. One of the weapons was buried in the other.

The White Saint didn't give them any time to react.

Ile could only watch in horror when she saw the pained face of Nel when she felt the sword piercing through her sister.

It took only a moment before her face was the same and Issei didn't just stop at her.

[Riser Phenex. Two [Pawns] and one [Rook] retired.]

Grayfia spoke again as she announced the fact that Koneko had also won. Issei watched how Koneko had her arms still in the position where she had broken Xuelan's neck.

Walking over to the Dragon, the junior just smiled and offered a fist. With his left hand, Issei responded. Their fists bumped and they walked outside.

Scene skip

The spells that Kiba uses were paying dividends.

So far, the three [Pawns] that Riser had sent through the forest, were running in circles. Their team consisted of two girls in maid outfits while the other girl's clothes weren't suited for a battlefield.

Kiba was just waiting on the girls to come closer. It was three to one and the lessons that Issei had given him, couldn't go to waste. If he wanted to do this, he had to do it right.

Giving them the time to react, wouldn't be beneficial. He had to save his power for stronger Pieces and not just that, but he had to join up with the other two.

He used his high speed to smash through the unprepared [Pawns] who simply stood by as Kiba just smashed through the first one.

Without even a word, he turned back and used his speed to go for his second target.

[Riser Phenex. One [Pawn] retired.]

"What is this?" The showgirl shouted as Kiba turned back around. His eyes zoned in on the two girls. His time was limited and Akeno did a marvelous job.

It wouldn't take too long.

He never would have guessed that he could his high speed for stealth.

[Riser Phenex. Two [Pawns] retired.]

Scene skip

Issei and Koneko had made their way outside the gym while their coms were open to the others.

[Rias, we're done with the gym. As you might have heard. We are done inside. And with four taken down]

Both smiled on the praise of the [King]

[That is excellent news. Akeno is coming through and she'll destroy it. You two need to make sure that you won't be around when she blows the gym up]

The two nodded and walked away further from it. Up in the sky, they could see Akeno. Issei wondered why that Miko outfit stood her so well. Lighting came crashing down from above laid the gym in ruins.

"Take." The voice of Akeno was laced with excitement and lust. Inwardly, Issei hoped that one time, she could see his name like that.

Up in the sky, Akeno was blushing up a storm while they just watched her. She was enjoying this a bit too much.

"Akeno-senpai is known as the Priestess of Thunder. Those who are aware of her." Koneko would have considered it rude if Issei had cut her off like that but he had only milliseconds to grab the body of the small [Rook], press it close to him and open his wings.

He withstood the blow that was aimed at the two of them. Issei's [Sacred Gear] kicked in high notion.

The wings, this time, not his Gauntlet opened up and shouted over the place.

[Divide!] [Divide!] [Divide!] [Divide!] [Divide!] [Divide!] [Divide!] [Divide!] [Divide!] [Divide!] [Divide!] [Divide!] [Divide!] [Divide!] [Divide!] [Divide!] [Divide!] [Divide!] [Divide!] [Divide!]

When he was sure that he could handle it, his head turned to the one who had sent such a deadly barrage their way.

His mouth however talked at Koneko.

"Sorry for the rough handling, Koneko-chan but I didn't have much time." Ignoring the crimson that tainted her cheeks, the first year shook her head while she thanked every deity that she could think of for Issei's quick handling.

Rough, it might have been but she preferred that over being torn to pieces by the attack.

"That's fine, chief. Rather than being blown to pieces." The woman up there was a sight to behold.

The long way, purple hair hung down below and her eyes shared the same color. Issei wondered what was wrong with those dresses as she was wearing a blue tunic top and a pale blue skirt underneath.

The sides hung open and it revealed much of her chest. While Issei never minded a good look, he did not like being blown to pieces or worse. Losing Koneko in that process.

"So the rumors were true. The White Saint has joined the Gremory Peerage."

He was too angry to give an even response.

"Akeno, can you take a quick look at Koneko-chan? I'm going to tear that bitch a new asshole." Grabbing his two handguns from the back, Issei didn't wait until the [Queen] came down.

His eyes zoned into the target. Unlike some others, Issei would have to reload both handguns when they were depleted.

But they carried twelve rounds so it should be doable to get one through. Calculating his shots, Issei's guns barked and the bullets flew through the air.

Yubelluna had to get out of the way for them and Issei might not follow Rias' orders but even she realized that as pissed Issei was now, there was no reigning him in.

It gave Akeno the opportunity to land and look Koneko over.

While not as well versed as Asia, Akeno knew how to handle the wounds. Luckily for the [Queen], Koneko was fine. Both just watched how Issei depleted the handguns. He had counted the shots.

Faster than the human eye could see, he had already holstered his guns and flew right after Yubelluna.

Scene skip

"Damn. I don't think I have seen him that angry." The entire student council was seated with the Fallen to watch the match.

They pipped up from the comment of Raynare who watched how Issei was utterly destroying the enemy [Queen].

"What do you mean by that?" The redhead, sitting in the middle of the table asked the question that was plaguing their minds.

"Issei can get annoyed at some point but when that woman wanted to take out, Koneko. Let's hope that he'll make it quick. He can be a mean bastard."

After the bullets did a lot of damage to Yubelluna, the Peerage of Sona Shitori was greeted by the sight of Issei Hyoudou, laying a smackdown on the [Queen].

Fists crunched her nose while his sword took her arm. He would make that bitch bleed for what she tried to do.

While Sona, Tsubaki, Momo, and Reya looked disturbed by the violence, Sarakawa, Raynare, Kalawarner, and Tsubasa found the sight to make them aroused.

Issei just looked like an animal as he was beating her down.

When he knocked her down with combined fists, the body of Yubelluna lit up.

"I hope that he is ready to be known as the Hakuryuukou now. There is no way anyone will forget this."

Sona announced and her tactical mind knew damn well that she would never intentionally piss off Issei Hyoudou.

[Riser Phenex [Queen] retired.] Issei had half a mind of killing the woman but it was a good thing he didn't.

He had lost himself in the power that he had and realized how far he was pushed now.

It was Rias' voice that brought him back to his senses.

[Issei! Issei! Issei! What happened? I couldn't catch you for two minutes!]

His hand went to his ear.

[Sorry, Rias. [Queen] of our enemy nearly took out Koneko. Didn't take too kindly to that. I made sure she learned her lesson.]

There was a relieved sigh in her voice when she got that.

[I see. Thank you, Issei.]

[You had us scared for a moment, Issei-kun.] Turning back, he saw Akeno and Koneko who had both watched the fight.

Akeno was blushing up a storm while Koneko just smiled back at him.

The [Rook] couldn't help but feel enamored by the show that Issei had done for her. If there was any doubt, before, it was gone now.

Issei would go as far for her as for any girl under Rias' Peerage.

Landing in front of the two, he was glad to see that Koneko didn't suffer too much from the blast.

"That was quite a show, Issei-kun. Didn't think you'd have that in you." Akeno was licking her lips as she found another thing that she had in common with the Dragon.

Koneko shook her head as she watched her senior. But before Issei, she stood and had the same smile.

"Thank you, Chief," Issei smirked back at her.

"You're welcome. Now, Rias, what are our orders?"

The [King] spoke as a proud master.

[You took care of the [Queen] which frees up a bit. Akeno, proceed with patrolling in case any other Pieces breakthrough. Issei, you, and Koneko are to meet Kiba in the courtyard. If you keep it up there, I hope that I can get this done without a fight]

The Priestess of Thunder hoped she could join in the fun but in the end, she agreed with Rias.

[Yes, Buchou.]

Although, it was very reluctant.

Koneko and Issei were about to walk to the courtyard but found that Akeno stopped them.

"Issei-kun." The [Queen] pecked him on the cheek and had the most flirtatious wink on her face as she sent him on his merry way.

"A good luck charm. Now, kick butt." Flying back up, Koneko looked back at her.

"Pervert."

"A fact I can't deny," Issei proudly declared while they were finally on their way to the school.

When Kiba came out of the bushes, he smiled back at Issei.

"I heard the message. Thank you, Issei, for saving Koneko." The Dragon saluted to the [Knight].

"It was my pleasure. Now, let's get the rest of this Peerage down." In front of the school, Issei realized how this was set up.

Out of his fists came the magic that he so needed. The illusions faded and Issei counted that all the Pieces that Riser had left were still there.

At the least, Rias didn't have to come out either.

"Two [Knights], two [Bishops], one [Rook], two [Pawns]." Kiba counted the ones in front of them.

Issei didn't think of taking it easy this time.

Jamming Joyeuse in the ground, he reloaded both his handguns and while he holstered the Casull, he could switch just as quickly.

Then he got the sword back in his right hand while the gun lay comfortably in his left.

"I'd say that we got this bastard running scared if he throws all his Pieces in."

The haughty laugh came from above and his eyes zoned at the girl in the frilly pink dress.

"I wouldn't be so quick, Dragon. My brother isn't done with you." Issei held his tongue about the questions that came into his filthy mind. While morals weren't something Devils were too concerned with, they spent centuries, dialing back their urges.

He doubted that Riser would use his sister as fuck meat.

"That is excellent. I'm not finished with him either. Kiba, Koneko. Who do you want to fight? I'll handle the rest."

The [Knight] and [Rook] didn't protest that Issei would just take care of the remaining Pieces but they realized what this fight really was.

"Alright, Issei-kun." Taking out his own sword, he watched how one of Riser's [Knights] appeared in front of him.

"I'm Riser-sama's [Knight], Karlamine. I challenge the [Knight] of Rias Gremory for a duel."

The clothes she wore were a mix of Japanese and European armor and weapons. It made for a lovely combination. Especially on the sandy brown hair and the green eyes.

Kiba nodded to her as he was getting ready for this fight.

"As you wish, I accept your challenge. I was hoping for a sword fight." The speed hit up and the [Knights] began to clash while Issei turned to his left.

"Chief, I'll take care of the other [Rook]. Do you mind keeping the others on my back?"

Issei didn't even answer the request as Koneko jumped up in the sky and crashed down at the woman before her.

Her partner wore a mask that covered the right side of her face while Issei took her outfit for a biker chick with a black jacket and jeans. The leather straps were a nice touch. But it did show the goods like her large chest and if he was looking more, the midriff.

But that was for Koneko to handle. In front of him stood the other [Knight]. She was using a Zweihander that took most of her body. The woman was pretty tall and her long black hair hung until her ass. The five ponytails were one touch. Just like the other [Knight], she was a mix of European styles like her sword while her outfit was closer to a cheongsam.

Behind him, Issei realized that there was the last set of [Pawns] and twins.

While they had different hair colors, their uniform was white sailor outfits that revealed enough of their bodies. Issei was once again reminded that the skin-tight outfit of the Church was better than what Riser outfitted his Peerage with.

His head went up to see the two [Bishops].

"Well, that is fine. Five against one. Unless you two aren't going to participate."

The sister of Riser could share in his manners.

"Do not worry. We won't be needed for this fight. Ile, Nel, Siris. Take this guy down."

For Issei, he had dealt with bigger problems than those three. But he would allow them to play. He had some time to kill and could play around.

The [Knight] jumped up and clashed down while Issei stood back, waiting for Joyeuse to handle it. Long trained by many others, Issei knew exactly how to handle a sword fight. Blocking the weapon, Issei stopped her while his eyes zoned in on her.

He would leave it just with this sword to play with her.

"Ile, Nel!" Siris shouted to her companions who were not going to wait until he was done. Issei broke off the attack and had to jump up to avoid being hit by the two.

Nothing was more dangerous than two bodies with a shared mind. He could know.

He wouldn't fire the bullets until he was sure he could their mark. But that did leave his legs open.

A roundhouse kick did wonders on Nel by being shoved asides. It was getting more fun like this.

Although he hoped that Riser would come out soon enough.

He didn't worry about the other two.

Koneko enjoyed the fight with Isabella as she understood why Issei was so deadset on making her go faster in a fight.

As [Rook], she could take a hit.

But being faster and dealing them out harsher, did more wonders on her foe who could have no real way to defend against the fast kicks and punches. Isabella couldn't guess where the next punch would kick from while Koneko didn't worry about dealing out as much as she could.

There was no worry in her mind. The confidence that even if she were to fall, Issei would be there to hold the opponent down.

Not that she wanted to give her senior more work.

She avoided the fists or in more cases blocked them and countered Isabella.

Elbow kicks to the shin, roundhouse kicks. It all just worked.

For Kiba, it was the time for his [Sacred Gear] to shine.

The blade of his opponent engulfed in flames as it broke through his own.

"Too bad for you that the flames of Phenex burn through mine as well."

Kiba stood back and just summoned a new sword.

"I am afraid you're the one who is to be pitied." The new sword was made out of ice and Karlamine's sword was shattered from the ice on Kiba's sword.

"Another sword? How many do you have?"

Karlamine threw away the hilt and flew up where she pulled out a small dagger that she engulfed in fire.

"How many [Sacred Gears] do you have?!"

Kiba laughed back at her.

"Just one. But it is one that gives me as many swords as I need. As for my [Sacred Gear] is [Sword Birth]."

Issei could hear Kiba talk and began to think about the words that came out of his mouth.

'[Sword Birth]? Well, what do you know? I wondered where one of you turned up.' Despite his thinking, Issei didn't worry about the two [Pawns] behind him.

Using Joyeuse to push the Zweihander asides, he headbutted Siris and turned to the red one of the twins. Jamming the Jackal in her mouth, Issei didn't care this time if she would die.

Turning her around, Issei forced her to her horrified sister. With one bullet, Issei took down the last [Pawns]

[Riser Phenex. Two [Pawns] retired." That sudden show was enough for Karlamine and Isabella to be horrified by the way how Issei had taken care of their Peerage mates.

But their shock would prove to be what their foes needed.

Kiba had summoned a simple blade and he didn't hesitate to take care of Karlamine. A blur was all she saw when the [Knight] of Rias Gremory smashed through her.

Yuuto looked back at her and sighed.

"Sorry, miss but I can't afford it this time." Her body went up in particles.

Koneko decided to go for a longer route. She first hit Isabella in the stomach, after that, her left and right hook took care of the jaw. When the older [Rook] was dazed, a few lighter punches hit the stomach which was followed by a lighting-fast uppercut.

It brought Isabella to her knees where Koneko finished her off with one last punch to the head.

[Riser Phenex. One [Knight]. One [Rook] retired.]

Siris was the last one of the active Pieces still fighting and her eyes flickered to the two [Bishops]

"Ravel-sama. Please, don't interfere with this."

Before her request could be answered, the lighting had hit from the other side of the map, taking down both [Bishops] in one fell swoop.

[Riser Phenex. Two [Bishops] retired.] Koneko and Kiba turned to their surrogate older sister who didn't have the slightest inkling to feel guilty.

[Buchou allowed me that much as I didn't have much else to play with.] Issei smirked as he heard the same thing.

He wasn't sold out on mercy when he watched the horror on Siris' face.

His blade went under her throat while her eyes flickered to his.

"Now, you can choose the way out. By yourself or by me? I give you ten seconds. This fight is lost."

Siris looked at him and back to the two who had taken out the other two. While beaten, they were still standing.

She knew there was no way she could win this fight. Even if she by some unholy miracle could take out Issei, those two would finish her off.

Her eyes went back to the sword and to Issei. She had a sad smile on her face when she realized how this would go.

"Please." It was a small, simple request that came from her. Even if she hadn't spoken, Issei could read her eyes who pled her for this small grant.

The small cut on her throat marked her end.

[Riser Phenex. One [Knight] retired. Riser Phenex has no other pieces.]

The [Knight] and [Rook] joined the Dragon who stood back while he watched the particles fly.

"One more left. Let's see how this."

Before Kiba could continue to talk, the school was engulfed by a giant fire. It wasn't just the school. The ground began to boil and Issei felt like literal magma taking hold of the place.

It was like the pit of a volcano.

Only words that Issei heard before the heat engulfed them was Albion's shout.

[Vanishing Dragon Balance Breaker!]

Ravel Phenex was miffed beyond reasonable belief. She had never expected to be taken out like that.

She, of course, had looked up the fighters.

She had thought about fighting the best like this.

But yet, she found that their fight was one-sided. Issei Hyoudou did quite a number on their Peerage and he was just the push that Rias Gremory needed to be able to win over her older brother.

The [Bishop] of Riser Phenex got out better than most of her mates. But they were in capable hands.

The Phenex Heiress walked through the halls of the house. It was no surprise to find both her parents and Rias' watching the games going on.

She could imagine that the parents of Rias found the scene to be very entertaining. Especially Venelana Gremory enjoyed the fight with delight.

Her father didn't share the enthusiasm but there could be lessons to be learned here from Issei.

"Father, mother, Lord, and Lady Gremory." As the young lady, she bowed her head to the elders in the room. Her eyes found Sirzechs sitting back in one of the chairs.

Before she could bow down to one of the most powerful Devils in history, Sirzechs waved her away while her hand ruffled the top of her head.

"I am here for the same reason, you're here, Ravel. As a sister. So don't worry about it." The girl bowed down and then joined her mother while they examined the screens.

For the first time, Ravel didn't know if her brother would come out on top.

She, like many Devils, heard the stories of the White Saint. And well, it showed how he fought.

Ravel was intrigued by him. There was something about him.

For once, she would wait and see.

The floor boiled beneath them. Issei would give Albion all he wanted for saving him by activating his [Sacred Gear]. Without it, he would have been boiled alive. Even he couldn't withstand that much heat without his armor.

The shining white armor protected him from the heat that was coming through from the floor as Riser had fully shone through the place.

When he thought Riser, the yakitori had taken place in front of the school while he sent a full fire wave through the battleground.

Issei wanted to worry about Koneko and Kiba but found that it was impossible to move from his place.

His head turned to see the [Knight] and [Rook] screaming before it became too much.

[Rias Gremory. One [Knight]. One [Rook] retired.]

While there was relief that they weren't killed, it still filled Issei with anger that Riser would have done this to his squad mates. His eyes were narrowed to dangerous slits as he looked up at Riser.

The Phenex Heir scoffed when he watched how Issei had survived.

"I do not have time for trash like you. The heat will finish you off. I'm going after my prize."

His wings were made of flames and he took off to get to Rias.

He could hear the Gremory heiress shout in his ear.

[Issei, what is going on? Where are Koneko and Yuuto?]

The Dragon began to think about what he had to say.

[Rias, you got bigger worries. Riser is incoming. Get out of there.]

He wished he could crane his neck as far as to see what was going on but despite the impact that Riser made, the old school building was still standing.

And the fact that he didn't hear any announcements, meant Rias was still fighting.

[Rias, I am coming! If I can get out of this mess!]

It was like wading through a huge mountain of mud. Boiling hot, moving, and deep mud.

Issei didn't suffer from the heat but found that his heavy armor was actually keeping him stuck.

"Issei-kun." Turning his head, he was never more grateful to see Akeno standing with a spell ready.

"Ready?"

He didn't have a clue what she had in mind but just nodded.

Freezing cold water engulfed the magma which caused the ground to harden up. Issei broke through and shined through the damage.

Turning to Akeno, he was smiling through the mask and gave her a thumbs-up.

"Akeno, I can kiss you right now." The shrine maiden giggled when she heard that line. Especially given the fact that Issei didn't use his playboy voice but his genuine tone when he said that.

"I'll hold you on that. Glad to help you out."

Issei turned to see the magic flying between Rias and Riser. Summoning his sword once again, he checked out if the Jackal had survived the heated barrage.

Part of him wished he could find it again when the Game ended but another part knew that if the gun had perished, it went out the best way it could.

That was why Issei packed two handguns.

The Casull was still intact.

"I'd love to stay behind to help you, Akeno but I am afraid that Rias would need my help!"

The [Queen] understood his choice of words and Issei took off like a jet.

The distance wasn't that much to fly but he didn't want to waste any more time.

Especially when he heard Grayfia's voice echoing over the place.

[Rias Gremory. One [Bishop] retired.]

Now, Riser really pissed him off. He could see how the Phenex sent another wave toward Rias. He wasn't going to let anyone hurt her.

With a glance behind him, the Dragon realized that she had sustained one too many injuries.

Cuts and scrapes and that were if he ignored the burns that she had sustained. But that wasn't the worst of it. Her clothes had been burned away, revealing her most prominent assets.

Riser had been aiming at that for a reason. Too bad it was more fuel to Issei's fire to really tear him a new one.

Rias was running on fumes and that was with Asia's support.

The Riser Heir glared at him and sent another wave his way.

"I had hoped that the heat would make short work of you." Issei's glare was kept at him.

"Too bad for you." Akeno had caught up with the two and she started to retake the work of Asia.

"Akeno."

"Be still. Let him take care of this." Rias wanted to protest but she found that her best friend was right.

"Issei. Step aside, this is my fight!"

The Dragon looked back at her. When another flame came their way, Issei aimed the Casull and one 13mm round went right past the Phenex.

"Rias, enough. You have seen what he has done. And what he can do." There was a bit more to add. So Issei spoke in an authoritative voice.

"I have been taken in for a reason and you chose me as your suitor. This fight is what we have for it. You have done your best. Let me fight. And end this in a way we both desire."

There was an edge of madness and if Rias stood in his way, a time of sadness.

So she allowed him to do what she wanted of him.

"Very well. Do it."

Issei smiled as he could have his fun on Riser.

The Heir sent out his waves but Issei just cut down his flames again.

"You think you're so strong but I find you to be an eyesore. Why so pressed to take me down? Not that you can do such a feat."

The Dragon kept his watch on him. He knew exactly how this would go on.

"I think you should have already known my name. Issei Hyoudou. I am this generation's Hakuryuukou."

Riser smirked when he realized the name of Issei.

"Yes, I do know your name. But I have picked up your other name. White Saint."

Issei cringed at the nickname. He would probably never get rid of that name.

"I have to say. Your stories must be exaggerated. From what I have seen, you are nothing more than a story to make children afraid. I heard of your exploits and legends and yet, I find them to be untrue"

'Living your own truth is moronic. There is your opinion and there is the truth'.

Issei thought while Riser took to the sky as he kept grinning at Issei.

"Even if you think my stories to be untrue, there is a saying in the human realm. No smoke without fire."

It was like he allowed Riser to figure it out.

"Good thing you said that, Dragon." The flames came racing down on Issei but he found no issue in cleaving them with Joyeuse.

"Your reliance on your sword will be your downfall. But please, continue your struggle. I would love to hear you scream."

Issei's eyes narrowed.

"Well, that feeling is mutual!" Racing towards the Devil, Issei actually hoped that he would avoid the swipe of the sword.

The cut of the sword would have cut through most people and the shock and blood loss had finished up more than one challenger.

Yet, Riser let that come over him and relied on his own flames to heal.

"Please, stop this, mutant. You are not the first challenger I faced." Riser began to think about the previous victories. It was like he didn't even register the damage that Issei was doing to him. Yet, he didn't fire the Casull once.

"You have to understand. The Phenex Clan can regenerate every wound they receive. So how do you intend to stop me?"

Issei stopped and pointed with his chin to the wounds of Riser. The Phenex heir looked down to find that the wounds were in fact not healing and burning through.

"What the? How does this?" Riser found that he wanted to clutch his left hand but the right was also lost.

"HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? HOW DID YOU CUT ME?" Issei used his feet to smash him away from the building.

"Are you retarded? You said it yourself. I am the White Saint. Or did you not realize the blade that I am wielding is Joyeuse? Wielded by the great Charlemagne. One of the holiest blades on the planet."

Issei wouldn't give him the time to react. Riser managed to stabilize in the flight but Issei wouldn't let him go down that quickly.

The wings opened and Issei went right after him.

Only this time, Riser had fear while Issei continued the attacks. Despite his best to avoid the attacks, Issei knew that his foe had no experience with that.

When Issei got close enough, he severed the left arm of Riser.

"THIS HURTS! HOW DID YOU?"

Issei pistol-whipped him, causing two teeth to fly out. Issei's eyes narrowed and this time, the gun barked.

A 13mm round would have sawed a human being in half. It actually caused Riser's guts to come spilling out.

"Holy Sword. Holy Guns. Holy Bullets. You're a Phenex but a Devil first. Pride becomes for the fall. And I decided to let those weapons speak before you."

Issei had learned many things over the years and how some exorcists would use guns. One particular induvial used shotguns in which the pellets were loaded with energy. An ingenious method and given how many creatures of the dark realm hunted those places, it was more effective.

"You were wrong by underestimating me, Riser Phenex. Your pride is what is doing you in. In fact, this is actually preferable for you."

"Then prefer this!" Riser summoned the flames and they engulfed Issei. What he did notice was the fact that this heat was more bearable than what he had gotten before.

Riser fled from Issei and back to Rias.

"I do not need to defeat you, mongrel, to win this fight. Rias!"

Riser's maniacal grin and expression were enough to reveal to Issei how he thought.

Maybe Riser should have known but Rias wasn't just renowned for her beauty. The wave of destruction might not have hurt him but it did stop him to get closer. It gave Issei the three seconds he needed to catch up.

A mighty roundabout fist smashed into Riser, stopping him mid-flight. Issei then grabbed the body and threw it right back to the new school building.

What was left of the school was destroyed by the impact of Riser's body. Rias and Akeno had two conflicting parts. One half was shocked (or some would say horrified) by the sheer power that Issei had while the other half was flattered by Issei's reaction to them.

"Excellent, Issei. This is the end."

The Dragon shook his head.

"Did you hear the announcement of his loss, Rias? I haven't heard it. He is not done." Issei smirked when he thought about it.

"And neither am I. Please, remain here. I can go back faster in case of another surprise attack." Issei flew over the school while his eyes kept the flight in mind.

Riser sat back up, his wounds had been healed but his clothes resembled the ones of Rias. They had nearly burned away from his body. Had he not realized that if the Rating Game was in place, the last few attacks would have spelled his end.

"If you think I am impressed, think again, boy."

The Dragon came crashing down and Riser felt Joyeuse slamming into his midriff. They gave the effect that Issei was looking for. The howls echoed over the battlefield while Issei aimed his gun. Four shots were aimed at each of the limbs.

While he had one bullet left, firing that at Riser's crotch would have been too much, even for him.

Riser deserved a massive beating but only from wounds that he could recover from. A bullet wound on his cock and balls would have been too much.

"How about now, Riser? Impressed. I am though. Didn't think you could scream like that."

Gritting his teeth, Phenex spat back.

"You disgusting."

Applying more pressure, Issei cut off Riser from speaking.

"Projecting much?" Issei should have known better but the heat that began to boil made it clear that he couldn't afford to have Joyeuse buried inside his foe.

Losing the Jackal was one thing, but a weapon made in human times, by human hands.

Losing Joyeuse was unacceptable so Issei flew up and it was like a ring of heat was dispersed over the place.

Looking back at the sword, it still looked good but a trip to a blacksmith was added to this to-do list. Taking Joyeuse back in, he looked at Riser who climbed back up from the hole.

His wounds were taking longer to heal but they were healing. But more slowly than before and his arms were supporting the intestines that were spilling out of his stomach.

"So how about this, brat? I am not stopping. The fire I use can be used and I won't stop now. Especially after you put your sword away."

Issei just continued to think about it.

"Did you perhaps consider that I have not used a single of my Dragon abilities? Maybe now, would be a good time."

Riser spat on the ground.

"You might have skill, power, and tools, boy. But mine is fueled by my desire. And my greatest desire is Rias Gremory, giving herself to me. And I'll stop at nothing for that."

Issei just glared at him but he wanted to hear a bit more.

The more Riser talked, the more Issei could fuel himself for a fight.

"You have not paid attention. You have not done so, since the first time I met you. Rias Gremory was pressured to make a choice. Isn't it ironic she chose a Dragon who spent most of his life in the Church, an institution that she despises on principle alone, instead of a Devil like you?"

"It is just desperation that fueled her. Something you might have not learned. But you will do so. And when I am done, I'll make all of the women in your life submit to me. And I. WILL. BREAK. YOUR. SPIRIT!"

Issei heard that last line and it was there, he lost it.

"Over my corpse." The line was spoken so softly, so flatly, and so calmly that it did scare the crap out of every viewer.

Riser felt a fist smashing into his stomach as he coughed up the blood. Then Issei aimed the last bullet and shot it right at his head. That staggered him but he wasn't done just yet.

Issei used his fists to smash the body of Riser in. The barrage was nothing more but a man who was delivering a smash to a man that had threatened his most precious possessions.

There was no mercy, no finesse this time. The body of Riser couldn't keep up with the damage that he had received from Issei.

Eventually, it ended with Riser on his back, in what was left of the Student Council room. Issei deactivated the [Balance Breaker].

Grabbing Riser by the collar, Issei looked at him.

"You have lost, Phenex. Get over it. You had your shot but now it's over. You tried all you can but I won. There is no changing this. Learn from this and maybe, come back sometime. Asides from that, there are reasons why I have not murdered you. I should though, given so many reasons. But this is the end. You were an Icarus, flew too close to the sun. It were my Holy Flames which burned you down. See how you work things through."

But he wasn't the only one wanted to have a word with this guy.

[Issei, let me have this as well.] From the gauntlet, Albion addressed Riser.

[Count yourself lucky that my host is kinder than you. We wouldn't allow anyone to go after our choice of women. Especially not if the woman came to us. If you would ever stand against us, know that I will force my host hand.]

Issei let him go and the body of his foe was engulfed in particles.

[Riser Phenex has retired. Rias Gremory has won.]

The fields of their school were taken down and the magic set in again, transporting them back home.

He would have the thanks later but Issei couldn't help but smile at how this went down.

"Well, that was impressive," Sirzechs announced but as she would have guessed, no one registered it. Michael had delivered the message when she received the news of Issei Hyoudou would fight for her sister.

He had cut down the rumors and showed what was true of Issei. And Sirzechs found that he had done a wonderful job. If Rias had chosen him as a partner, she would live with that. And well, there were some ideas that were in the back of her mind.

The musing was broken by Ravel who stormed out of the room. She would look after her brother. Not that Sirzechs blamed her. It was only right that a sibling fretted over another one.

"Mother, do you mind if I check on Rias? I am going to give her my congratulations." Venelana shook her head. Unlike their husbands, she and Lady Phenex had already recovered from the fight.

"Give her mine as well and that of your father. I am proud of her." Sirzechs would admit, she looked forward to this.

Scene skip

"Damn, I thought he was brutal during that day he saved me." Raynare could claim that Issei had saved her before but that was from a certain demise.

But now, this was more and she admired the fact of what Issei had done with Riser. Her own life was now secured and she could continue her life there.

Kalawarner and Mittelt shared her expression while their thoughts were different. Kalawarner had enjoyed the fight and her admiration grew for Issei while Mittelt swore on her worthless life that she would never mistreat Issei again.

The only reason why she could, was because he allowed it. Now, she found that Issei had a limit on his mercy.

The Student Council girls had different views. Sona and Tsubaki couldn't fault Rias for the choice of Issei but there were now things she could ask of him.

Only one member actually renewed her look. Sarakawa Genshirou found that she would ask a few favors. There was something that awakened in her.

"Can't say that wasn't fun." Azazel closed the laptop while he had seen the stuff. He would have to send out a few messages to his former brethren about this White Saint. Issei Hyoudou was impressive.

"There is much to learn from this guy, wouldn't you agree? Do you keep yourself under wraps though?"

Valina didn't react to the comments of Azazel but given her heavy breathing, her blush, and her twitching, Azazel believed there were other reasons why Valina would visit her rival. It wouldn't hurt at all.

A child born between the Two Heavenly Dragons. Two opposite beings came together.

Issei landed back at the room where they ended up leaving from the place. He smiled when he realized the Jackal was back where it belonged. He would later check out Joyeuse as he felt quite joyful himself.

Then he turned to see the two other members standing.

[King] and [Queen]. Their smiles were identical and it was a mix of joy, gratefulness, relief, and happiness that spread over them.

"You kept your promise," Rias said as the two joined him.

"I told you. And well, I'm glad I did." The Princess grabbed his face and pressed a loving, searing kiss on his lips. It was one that thanked him for what he had done and who just loved the feeling of him.

When she let him go, her soft, delectable body was hugging his. He had one arm open while Akeno just rolled her eyes.

"Now, Issei-kun. I believe you made me a promise as well." Before Issei could even respond, Akeno threw her own lips on his. It carried passion, fire, and an underlying hint of relief as well.

[Count the Fallen, that [Rook] and Asia, that puts your count at seven. Impressive.]

A circle opened and behind and from there out, came someone that had an air of authority.

It broke Rias and Akeno away from him and turned to the magical show as well. Out of the circle stepped a woman, wearing a formal robe while looking as strong as ever. Behind Sirzechs Lucifer, Grayfia Lucifuge would have clicked her tongue if she didn't realize that Rias made a choice.

It was the redhead who spoke and who addressed the group.

"Issei Hyoudou, I presume. My name is Sirzechs Lucifer, Rias' older sister. One of the four Maou."

"Eh, hi?"

This wasn't exactly how Issei Hyoudou wanted to meet his future sister-in-law.

I took some serious inspiration from various sources, plus, my own ideas.

For those wondering on who I have based Vali's description on, look up HaryuDanto Vali Lucifer Genderbend. We can't post links in so that is why you have to do some work yourselves, my dear readers.

And yes, there are reasons why I made Saji, Sirzechs, and Vali Rule 63. It solves a lot of issues and it makes things easier to go around.

Maybe I should ask a few for pictures.

I don't like comic relief characters that much and well, why not go for something simple?

And it opens up possibilities. Wouldn't you all agree?

Asides from that, I wonder why my next chapter will appear. I hope for the summer as I am getting more and more fun, writing this.

Halfway through my holiday but two big chapters are done. I am happy about this.

The laptop proves to be worth its money. Don't forget I'm on AO3 as well in case this goes away.

Saluut.
