Power Woman Wife of Goku – Episode Twenty The Doomsday Scenario

The Planet New Vegeta, afternoon
"I'm sure you're impressed by our cutting-edge warp drive. It can take you almost anywhere in a day or less." Turles said as he, Black Fire, their troops, Vegeta, Goku, Carri, Tien Shinhan, Starfire, and Krillin excited the egg-shaped vehicle. "And now my lord, your noble kingdom awaits." The group marched up a short mountain road to a prominent hilltop castle.
"I'm pretty sure when you rule over a planet the entire planet is your kingdom," Vegeta said.
"How wise you are, my lord." Black Fire said.
"Let's take a tour of your beautiful new palace, shall we, my lord?" Turles said.
One Grand Tour later
"You call this pathetic disgrace a palace worthy of me! Most of the rooms aren't furnished! Also, the brickwork in this place is atrocious. It is falling apart." Vegeta said easily poking a brick loose with his fingers.
"With all due respect, my lord. We inherited this structure from the previous inhabitants. We apologize if it isn't up to your high standards." Black Fire said with more than a hint of sarcasm.
"Not to worry, my lord. We shall improve upon it forthwith," Turles said smoothing things over.
"What's the matter, Vegeta? Regretting selling your family for a bag of phony magic beans." Carri said earning herself a glare from the prince.
"Yes, it should be improved upon at once, I decree it!" Vegeta said.
"Do you even know what you're doing?" Krillin said skeptically.
"I don't have to anymore, I'm a king," Vegeta said with a pompous smile. Vegeta walked outside with Turles, the soldiers who had entered, and Black Fire who continue to ignore overtures from her sister.
"Something about this place seems fishy," Tien said.
"Agree I must, my sister is not usually this accommodating of others," Starfire said with a frown.
"I say we investigate," Carri said adding. "Goku, do you think this has anything to do with the destruction of South Galaxy?"
"According to King Kai, this solar system is one of the few remaining pieces of the South Galaxy. That's why he thought I should come along before investigating elsewhere." Goku said.
A badly damaged city, three hours later
"This place looked much better as a distant skyline," Krillin said from his airborne position.
"It's the same way all over this planet; cities and towns ravaged and deserted," Carri reported. After agreeing to rendezvous at a chosen location, The Z Fighters split up into groups consisting of Tien and Starfire, Goku and Carri, while Krillin went solo.
"What happened here?" Tien asked.
"People there are over there!" Starfire said. She pointed towards the west where a huge open pit construction site was located.
When our heroes arrived they were appalled by what they beheld. Most of the masked soldiers were forcing a large group of small aliens to enlarge the central pit using buckets and primitive hand tools. The small aliens were overworked and underfed.
"What's going on?!" Goku demanded when the five landed at the edge of the construction site.
"You're not supposed to be here!" One of the masked soldiers said.
"Well, we're here. Do you mind explaining why you're working these tiny aliens so hard?" Carri said.
"None of your business, lady!" Another masked soldier said.
"Oh, I disagree, it is very much our business. Your bosses invited us here." Tien said.
"Leave, or be neutralized!" A third masked soldier threatened. He lifted his right arm and a laser canon popped out!
Krillin punch the offending soldier and to his surprise, the soldier's body sparked and hissed. "They're robots!" Krillin yelled.
"Which means, we don't how to show any restraint. Let's take them down!" Goku coaxed his companions.
"Yeah," The other four yelled in unison.
A few minutes later the robots were all reduced to scrap metal and the alien slaves were freed. "Thank you for freeing us from our bondage." An elder said.
"It was our pleasure," Carri said smiling.
"Happy we are you are free." Star Fire said hugging several of the aliens which caused them to purr happily like a cat.
"So, what happened here?" Tien asked.
"A Saiyan and his alien bride along with their battle robots you destroyed landed here a few months ago. They've been making us dig this enormous pit ever since." The elder explained.
"But why, what are they digging for?" Krillin asked.
"We don't know." The elder said.
"I'm a damn fool! That's what I am for buying into this garbage heap!" The voice of Vegeta said. He, Turles, and Black Fire along with a handful of surviving robots approached the construction site.
"Please, my lord, allow us t-," Turles said getting in front of Vegeta.
"I'm not your lord, Turles, you brown-nosing toady!" Vegeta snapped. "I should never have left Earth it might not be perfect but it's light-years better than this shithole. You and your Tamaranean hussy promised me a kingdom, but there are no subjects, no infrastructure to speak of, and a wonky throne made of wood in a decaying palace!"
"I beg of you, my lord, please stay at least for a little while longer" Turles pleaded.
"And continue wasting my valuable time here, no!" Vegeta continued to rant. "Huh, what is this?" He asked arriving at the construction site.
"Maybe you'd like to explain what exactly is going on here?" Carri asked Turles and Blackfire.
"And I'm looking for the person or persons who destroyed South Galaxy, maybe you know who that person or persons is?" Goku said.
"I've had enough!" Black Fire said. With one look at the robotic parts and the disappointed expression on her sister's face, she knew the jig was up as they say. Her eyes briefly glowed neon purple.
"Darling we're so close, no need-," Turles said trying to cover but Black Fire was having none of it.
"This whole wretched planet and everything on it will soon be annihilated by a cataclysmic strike from the Comet Camori! We destroyed South Galaxy to alter the course of the Comet Camori and then lured you morons here to die!" Black Fire said.
"You two destroyed an entire galaxy?" Krillin scoffed. "No offense, but neither of you seems strong enough. I doubt Frieza could destroy a galaxy."
"We had a little help from someone you know, the Demon Witch Towa. She promised us a place in Darkseid's army should we eliminate you." Turles said. "She temporarily boosted our strength to enormous portions using Dark Dragon Balls allowing us to destroy South Galaxy. Then she used all seven Dark Dragon Balls to make a powerful wish."
"Ha, I should have known you'd use an artificial power boost, Turles. You're all about the mystical steroids." Carri said shaking her head in disgust. "The fruit from the Tree of Might and now Dark Dragoon Balls, whatever those are. Is there any shortcut you won't take?"
"Ah, what was her wish?" Krillin said not liking the sounds of this. He feared it somehow involved the immense pit the slaves had dug for no apparent reason. The pit they were standing dangerously close to.
Black Fire stared down into the pit for a long moment. "It's time." She said. She and Turles shot high into the air and fired twin balls of black-red energy that merged to form one large ball. The ball of energy slammed into the bottom of the pit. The resulting blast blew away a large amount of the remaining soil uncovering a form.
"With the last of our borrowed Dark Dragon Ball energy, we give you one last parting gift, King Vegeta!" Turles said his words filled with disdain.
"Farewell, enjoy your doom, or should I say your Doomsday! Farewell sister of mine! We won't be seeing each other again!" Blackfire said. The pair held hands and vanished using a form of teleportation.
"I didn't know they could teleport?" Tien said.
Carri had a sinking feeling. "I don't think their ship has a warp drive. I think it was all them." She said.
"Meaning?" Krillin asked with a gulp.
"Meaning, we're stranded here," Tien said.
"My sister you betrayed me again." Star Fire sighed. A single tear trickled down her face. Tien put his arm around his new wife to comfort her.
"No, we're fine. Goku and I know Instant Transmission. We can-," Carri began.
A hulking gray-skinned, white-haired monster covered in white spikes and wearing olive green trunks and boots lept from the pit. It landed on the other side of the Z Fighters crushing the remaining robots. The red eyes of the beast narrowed as it snarled.
"Such power, what is it?" Vegeta stammered.
"Doomsday," Carri and Starfire said in horror.
"A nearly unstoppable monster from Universe 6 my home universe," Carri said. "Towa's twisted wish must have somehow summoned him here."
"His first attack left Superman dead and devastated the Justice League. He has only grown stronger since then." Starfire said shaking in fear.
Doomsday surprised everyone when he spoke in a deep guttural halting voice. "Who is strongest?"
"Me, I guess," Goku said always up for a challenge. He stepped forward.
"Goku, no!" Carri warned but it was too late.
Almost faster than anyone could see, Doomsday grabbed Goku with one hand and slammed him into the ground. He dragged Goku through the ground to the ruined city. Struggling mightily, Goku broke free and automatically entered his Super Saiyan state. Goku could tell this thing must be taken seriously. Doomsday regarded Goku's golden aura and hair color with what could be interpreted as interest.
"Strong, I am stronger," Doomsday growled. To Goku's surprise, Doomsday created an aura of his own comprised of black-colored energy with an undercurrent of gray mixed in.
For Goku, Doomsday's Ki was the darkness he had ever felt. It had an oily unwholesome quality that made Goku queasy. Fighting through his unease, Goku charged and fired a Kamehameha at Doomsday moments before the others arrived. The attack at such close range would have finished any other foe or at the very least greatly weakened them, but not Doomsday.
"Goku, everyone, don't use any Ki-based techniques unless you think it will defeat him with a single use otherwise he'll just mimic them! Limit your attacks to physical strikes!" Carri said. As if to prove her point, Doomsday (who previously on DC Earth could not use Ki-control) fired a Kamehameha that Goku barely dodged.
Doomsday clotheslined Tien and Starfire (each with one arm) through an overpass. He turned around and headbutted Carri into a building and then pie-faced Vegeta into the ground. Goku jumped onto Doomsday's back trying to chock him out but Doomsday flung Goku aside so hard that when he hit the ground Goku lost his Super Saiyan form. Doomsday then thrust kicked the incoming Krillin through the side of a building. Over the next ten minutes, only a few strikes made contact with Doomsday and when they did he shrugged off any damage. The battered bodies of the six Z Fighters lay sprawled across the broken landscape.
Mustering what energy they had left they surrounded Doomsday. "Let's see how you fair when we each launch our most powerful attack all at once, monster!" Vegeta threatened.
"Doomsday is no monster. Doomsday is-," Doomsday said in his halting growling voice.
"An evil spirit?" Carri offered.
"A true freak?" Krillin offered.
"An abomination?" Goku offered.
"The Devil," Doomsday proudly proclaimed.
Galick Gun, Solar Flare, Thunder Shock Surprise, Carri's heat vision, Star Fire's star busters, and a second Kamehameha converged on Doomsday. When the blind swirling energy dissipated to the astonishment of all Doomsday was still standing if barely. He wobbled on his feet.
"Guys, I'm going to try something. Keep him busy for as long as you can." Goku said. He flew off.
"Easier said than done," Krillin grumbled.
"We can hurt him he's not invincible! Where is your warrior's pride, human?!" Vegeta admonished Krillin.
"He might not be invincible but he's a lot more durable than us, he's more than proven that," Tien said.
Somehow the others kept Doomsday occupied while Goku who was back in his Super Saiyan state although it flickered due to instability, gathered energy from the planet's inhabitants to create a sizeable Spirit Bomb. When he returned with it the others were exhausted and again lying on the ground. Doomsday although weakened considerably was still standing.
"Is this guy the worst, or what?" Krillin moaned.
"Frankly, at this point, I wish we could open up the Dead Zone and bring back Garlic Jr," Carri said.
"I cannot believe I'm saying this but I rather go another few rounds with Lord Slug," Tien said.
"Fighting Frieza wasn't so bad," Vegeta said.
"Hey, Doomsday, over here!" Goku taunted. He drew the monster away from his wounded friends. With a herculean effort, he dragged the Spirit Bomb along until they were a safe distance away. With Doomsday closing on him rapidly, he shouted, "Catch!"
Goku threw the Spirit Bomb at Doomsday who did catch it! Doomsday tried to push it back but he failed. The Spirit Bomb enveloped Doomsday. With a defeating crash, it imploded burning away his skin and organs and leaving behind only a smoking spiky skeleton that crashed to earth. The skeleton broke into several large sections upon impact.
His last reservoir of strength spent, Goku lost his Super Saiyan form once he reached his friends again. He plunged to the ground unable to move a muscle. Overhead the sky turned white as the Comet Camori appeared!
"My, my, what do we have here?" Whis said blinking into existence. "This won't do this will not do at all. Luckily, I can intercede in this matter due to the interference of Towa and Darkseid."
Whis teleported the fallen warriors along with the native aliens to safety. He sent the aliens to a new world and the Z Fighters back to Earth. He and Chronoa the Supreme Kai of Time then had a chat with King Kai (North Kai) and South Kai (more of a lecture on responsibility and watchfulness for the latter) about the restoration of South Galaxy.
Space
Less than half of Doomsday's skull, a fragment of his spine, and two ribs floated through the void. They had survived the comet strike. Slowly, inextricably over many days, the broken bones weaved together into a full skeleton. Death was nothing new to Doomsday. If a single cell survived he would eventually regenerate stronger than before and more resistant to whatever slew him. Few forces in the Multiverse could truly stop the onward march of Doomsday!
Dragon Ball Earth the next day, early morning
The Home of Goku and Carri
"Hi Vegeta," Goku said opening the door. "It's pretty early. What can I do for you this morning?"
"I'm moving in with you for a while, Kakarot," Vegeta said.
"Huh?" Goku said.
"Duluma had my bags packed when I returned home. She expected an apology. I'm a prince I don't do apologies. She told me to get out so I'm here." Vegeta said.
"I'm not sure Carri would approve of you living with us. She doesn't like you." Goku said bluntly.
"Nonsense, it's only temporary. Once the Androids are dealt with I'll find my own place. There are plenty of abandoned castles and mansions on this planet." Vegeta said pushing Goku aside. "Nice place you have it if rustic."
"Who is it, Dad?" Gohan said. He was blurry-eyed. Next to him, Zangya yawned both were in their night clothes having emerged from their bedrooms.
"Good, you two can bring in my bags they are on the doorstep, chop chop," Vegeta ordered.
When Carri awoke a short time later she witnessed her children dragging in Vegeta's suitcases much to her displeasure. Vegeta was sitting in Goku's favorite chair with his feet back. He demanded Zangya get him a drink and Gohan get him a sandwich.
"Goku, why is Vegeta here so early and why is he treating my son and daughter like his slaves?" She hissed at Goku.
"Vegeta's going to be staying with us for a bit," Goku said trying not to make eye contact with his wife.
"I sure am," Vegeta said.
"Surprise," Goku laughed nervously while Carri stared death dangers at her unwanted house guest.

In some iterations of DC comics Doomsday can talk in others he cannot talk. I thought him talking when add to the narrative so I went with that version of the character.
