Third Person's POV

"RUN!" A Separatist officer screamed in horror as he ran down a hallway of the facility.

Alarms were blaring throughout the entire facility, to alert the rest of the officers that a dangerous intruder was coming.

Just before the blast door closed, the officer slid through the crack and made it through, in which he practically jumped in glee. However, he and another officer, carefully stood on the other side of the door, with their blasters aimed, to see if the intruder would come through. Within a matter of seconds all the lights in the hallway went out, but the alarms continued to blare, but a few moments later, they stopped. And just as they heard the blast door open, the sound almost became muted. All was quiet. The two officers shook with fear…not knowing if the intruder made it to the other side, or if it was just a malfunction in the system. All was quiet…too quiet.

Just as both officers let their guard down, in that mere half-second, a violet lightsaber ignited, lighting the room, causing both officers' eyes to widen in fear, knowing that their end was about to become a reality. One officer tried to attack the intruder, but was forcefully pushed against the wall, smashing his skull instantly, but the only interesting thing, was the fact that the intruder, didn't even touch him. They killed him…by using the force.

The officer fell backwards and began to back away from the intruder, as the intruder slowly made their way to him.

"Please, please don't kill me…please!" The officer begged.

The intruder didn't reply but continued to walk slowly toward him. Within a matter of seconds, the intruder extended their left hand, forcing the officer up off the floor, and against the wall by use of the force. The officer shook as he tried to break out of the force-hold, but he couldn't the intruder was too powerful. Just as the intruder gulped, the violet blade became aimed centimeters away from his neck.

"Where is Royce Hemlock?" The voice asked calmly.

"I-I-I don't know!" The officer practically cried.

"Don't lie!" The intruder hissed, causing the officer to practically shake in fear.

"He's not here! He didn't say where he was going! He said somewhere in the Outer-Rim, but no one knows his whereabouts…no one!" The officer pleaded.

The intruder slowly turned around, and began to slowly walk away from the officer, but still kept the force-hold on him so he couldn't move. Just as the intruder turned back around to face the officer, the intruder twisted their left wrist ever so slightly, causing the officer's neck to snap, which killed them instantly.

As the officer dropped dead to the ground, the intruder took off the dark hood over their head to reveal their identity. Aurora Kryze…only this time, the only thing that changed were her glowing yellow eyes. As soon as she blinked though, her eyes went from yellow back to their original blue color.

Aurora's POV

"Any luck?" Cid asked as I walked into the bar.

I shook my head as dropped my bag on one of the bar stools and began to take off my coat. "Another dead-end."

"Sorry, I thought you'd have him this time." Cid said with sincerity.

I shrugged as I draped my jacket over one of the stools and unzipped my black vest. "At this point I should be used to it. Dead-ends and running all around the galaxy has become more familiar to me now than it ever had been."

"At least you're all in one piece." Cid said passing me a bottle of alcohol as I sat down on an empty stool.

Since I left the Jedi, I had retreated to Cid's to hide out. I knew the Jedi wouldn't find me here, as Cid has been keeping private recently. The only person who may come look for me would be Alex, but Cid tracks him, so whenever he comes, I'm either off trying to find Hemlock, or I hide in the backroom. I don't want anyone in my family to get involved as I try to track down Hemlock…because once I track down Hemlock, I track down my Aunt, and once I track down my Aunt, I track down Gar, and once I track down Gar, I track down Maul…I had a whole kill list that I created over the time I worked with the Jedi…not including Bane, and other people who wronged me…but the first goal, was kill the associates…that'll get their attention. But with the amount of people, I was killing, and at the rate I was killing them, if anything, I was getting Republic attention for sure.

"At what cost." I murmured as I crossed out the name of the officer, I killed on the list of people I had on my data pad. "I have no idea what to do…everything I've tried has gotten me nowhere."

"Did they say anything?" Cid asked.

"They didn't know where he went…they mentioned something about the Outer-Rim…but they didn't know the exact location." I explained. "They probably don't even know where he went honestly."

"Maybe if you call your brother…" Cid began.
I shook my head. "I don't want him involved. He's got too much on his mind."

"What about pretty boy?" She asked.

I rolled my eyes. "I'm not involving Alex either…I want to keep everyone safe."

"I know." Cid said with a nod.

I stayed silent for a few moments before I took a swig of the alcohol bottle Cid gave me as I pondered on what to do next. I looked over to one of Cid's regulars talking to one of his friends in the corner mentioned he's fixing his house. That's when it hit me. The answers didn't lie where Hemlock was…the answers lied where my grandmother was…and there was one place she spent when she was alive. Kalevala.

I started to get up. "I have to go."

Cid nodded. "And off you go again."

I grabbed my jacket and bag and began to walk out of the bar.

"DON'T DIE!" Cid yelled.

I laughed as I walked up the stairs and headed toward my starfighter.

Sometime Later

Location: Kalevala

I carefully piloted my starfighter down to a small grassy area that was about a click away from the palace. If there was anyone here…though I highly doubt it as my aunt was banned from this palace by my mother when she joined Death Watch, and most of my mother's staff now served Almec back on Mandalore, the palace was deemed abandoned…at least that's what I hope.

Since Kalevala was a warm climate, I decided to opt for no jacket, as it was rather warm, and keep my black vest unzipped. It was on days like these, that I was glad I didn't wear beskar. It took me a little while before I made it to the servant's entrance to the palace, and once I was inside, I felt the memories begin to take over my mind. As I walked through the halls, it's like I could hear my mother. Hear her calling for me, hear my brother's laughter, hear Zara's pleas of annoyance, and hear my grandmother's nurturing voice…or at least what I originally thought was nurturing.

I sighed as I turned a corner into the throne room. As a child, it felt so large…and now, it felt like the walls were closing in on me. This room meant so much to my mother, so much to my grandparents, but now, it almost feels like a prison to me. I slowly approached the throne, and gently ran my hand along it. Admiring the work, admiring the fact that my mother sat in the chair every day when we were in the palace, and she never got tired of it.

"You should take a seat." A voice said.

I immediately drew one of my blasters and aimed it at them, and in response they put their hands up. My hard expression immediately softened when I saw who it was. It was Alex.

"I didn't come to kill you." He explained doing a 360, making me realize he had no weapons on him.

I lowered my blaster. "I didn't need a babysitter. I'm guessing Cid called you?"

He put his hands down. "She did, but I didn't come as a babysitter."

I crossed my arms. "Then why are you here?"

"I'm here because I love you." He explained making me close my eyes and sigh in frustration.

"Then leave." I explained as I walked away from the throne and walked past him.

"Ignoring me is not going to fix what you're doing." He called after me making me stop in my tracks.

"It will." I began as I turned around to face him. "I have a job, and I don't need you getting in my way."

"And what job is that?" He asked with annoyance. "Be the Judge, Jury, and Executioner, to everyone who wronged you?"

I sighed as I looked over his expression. I could read his mind, and I could tell this wasn't out of anger or annoyance, it was out of love and concern.

"Ro, look at yourself. This is insane! What the fuck do you think you're doing? Killing everyone who has a relation to Maul, Death Watch, and your aunt?" He asked. "You are going insane, you need help."

I shook my head. "I'm not insane."

"Really? Because right now, there is a wanted ad in the Republic looking for a person with golden eyes and a violet blade. And when I saw this, you know who I immediately thought of?" He asked.

"Korkie?" I asked with humor.

"Don't fucking start." He said with anger making the small smirk I had drop. He was mad, and I could understand why. He had trauma from killing people from all the people we murdered in Death Watch, but at this point, it all seems numb to me.

"You need to heal…we both need to heal." Alex explained as he took a step closer to me.

I shook my head. "Every time I've tried, it's never worked. And giving me a therapist is not allowing me to heal."

He let out a laugh. "I know…therapists suck."

This time I laughed a real laugh. "True."

He walked closer to me. "How about this, I'll help you find whatever you're looking for…if we stop murdering people? Deal?"

I crossed my arms as I looked over his facial expression. He was serious. To make the moment less serious he grabbed my hands and started making small circles with them.

"Deal?" He asked again making me roll my eyes in annoyance.

I sighed. "Fine…but we are at least going to make them feel pain."

"Pain, yes. Murder, no." He said with a nod before pulling me into a hug. I felt him kiss the top of my head.

"I'm shocked you haven't murdered me yet." He said quietly.

I nodded as I pulled away. "That makes two of us." I began to walk away from him. "Come on!"

"Where're are we going?" He asked in confusion as we walked out of the throne room.

"To find out what my grandmother was hiding, when she orchestrated my kidnapping." I explained.

He sighed in disbelief as we walked through the palace. Eventually we came across my grandmother's old study and very quickly, I entered the passcode, which was my mother's birthday, as she was her favorite child, and we entered the study. Years of dust occupied the furniture, as my mother forbid anyone to touch it after my grandmother died.

"What're you looking for?" He asked.

"A hard drive, a listing, really anything?" I explained as I activated the Holo on her desk.

I immediately plugged in a hard drive of my own that would be able to hack into the system and search for any key words, but it would take a while.

"Can we do something fun after this?" Alex asked as he glanced at the portrait of my grandparents on the wall.

"It depends?" I began. "What do you see as fun?"

"I want to take you somewhere…you need to relax." He explained.

"I'm very relaxed." I began. "I've always been relaxed."

He let out a laugh and I rolled my eyes.

Within a matter of moments, the Holo stopped hacking into the system and began to open file after file. The first file had the words in bold: PROJECT: HARVESTER.

As I began to scroll through the file, I began to read names associated with the project, which included my grandmother and Hemlock. As I continued to read, that's when I realized that there were potentially more like me…but I was the first subject experimented on…the first subject chipped.

"What does it say?" Alex asked as he walked around to stand next to me.

"It basically says that I was to be the trial of the experiment called Project: Harvester." I explained. "It states that Korkie was the second subject."

He pointed to the screen. "Hang on…it says male infant began trials in Project: Eternal."

I frowned and quickly pulled up the next file. This time, in bold, the file had PROJECT: ETERNAL. I felt a chill run down my spine as I began to read the file. Within a matter of moments, my eyes widened in horror.

"Oh my fucking god." I said in disbelief.

"What?" Alex asked looking at me.

"I know why Korkie is 5 years younger than me." I murmured quietly as I felt tears come to my eyes.

"How?" He asked glancing at the Holo-screen and then back to me.

I blinked through the tears before looking him in the eyes. "They put him in carbonite as an infant, to see if he would survive it due to his force abilities. He was kept there for 5 years."

Alex's eyes widened and looked back to the screen.

"And I thought my family was fucked up." He murmured.

But I couldn't reply, as I could not believe the words that had come out of my mouth.
