Chapter 20

The Warning

Morning had come and Valerie had been called to Head Mistress Faragonda's office before classes started. As Valerie approached the Head Mistresses door she knocked it with a light tap "Knock, Knock'' but there was no answer. Suddenly a voice came from behind her "Good Morning Valerie! Have you come to see me?", Valerie turned around to find she was in the presents of the Head Mistress and Tecna from the Winx Club.

"Good Morning Ladies, how are you both?" Valerie asked politely while noticing Tecna holding some sort of device. "Well, thank you Valerie, now please come in!" the Head Mistress gentley advised as she made her way into her office first. Valerie then saw Tecna something at her. She was a short haired girl with the hair the colour of magenta almost the same colour as Roxy's. Her clothing spotted amostly colours of purples, pinks and greens. Valerie liked her style.

"Hello, i don't believe we've met my names Tecna!" the girl introduces herself putting out her hand for a formal handshake "Nice to meet you Tecna, my name is Professor Valerie Frizzle, its good to finally meet!" Valerie answered to Tecna as she shook her hand. Valerie then step out of the way of the door to let Tecna go into Faragonda's office first but Tecna refused and wanted to allow Valerie to go in first.

"Oh so polite! Thank you!" Valerie simply says to Tecna as she headed towards the Head Mistresses desk. Valerie goes to sit down in a chair that was facing the Head Mistresses desk. Faragonda head sat herself in her chair on the otherside while Tecna remained standing in between but in line with desk. Valerie noticed she was still holding the object she spotted eariler.

Faragonda gentley pushes her glasses up her nose "Valerie you are most likely wondering why i have called you to my office!", Valerie listened to her voice tone while examining her voice expression. Her voice seemed confident and gentle, it matched her face expression as it gave off a calming but serious vibe.

Valerie remained slient but remained smiling at her. Then she noticed Faragonda give Tecna a small nod. Tecna smiled and placed the objected on the desk "You will be glad to know that we have managed to cure all dark magic that was stopping our transportation devices and spells to provent your guests going back to Earth!" explained Tecna with a smile.

"Oh my really?" Valerie answered to the fairy of technology who was smiling at her sweetly. Deep down Valerie knew that this day would come eventually and that the girls had to return to Earth at some point. She was both pleased and a little disapointted, seeing the joy of Wanda, Keesha, Phoebe and DA with their new fairy forms made her also joyful. Now they will have to return to Earth and sadly return to their normal human lifes. How was she going to break this to them!

"Valerie?" Valeeerrrieee?" suddenly the Head Mistresses voice could be heard in her ears, awaking her from her trance "I'm sorry, yes Head Mistress?" she answered seriously back to her. "Are you alright?" Faragonda asked her in concern as the expression on the Head Mistresses face was in a concern mode. Valerie look up towards her and fake smiled back at her to asure that everything was fine "Yes, Head Mis...".

As Valerie was about to finish answering back, suddenly there was a flash of light outside almost like a lighting bolt. Then in seconds there was another but it didn't seem like a normal lighting storm. Faragonda, Tecna and Valerie all went to the windows to observe, Valerie remained calm as she thought that maybe DA was practising her powers.

As they all got the windows what they saw was not what they all expected. Yes there was lighting but as they looked towards the sky, it wasn't DA practising her powers, instead they saw three familar faces beaming down on to Alfea "The Trix!" Tecna shouted scrunching up her right hand. It was like a projection of the three witches in amongst the dark greyish almost purpleish clouds.

"Attention Alfea!" Icy began to speak "We are coming for our revenge!", "We want something and we want it now!" Stormy then added shortly before Darcy began to speak "So hand over what we want and we will leave your little school and you puny little fairies alone!". Valerie looked over towards Faragonda and Tecna who were both looking towards the projection with frowns and anger. She didn't dare to say anything at this point, so she looked towards the sky again.

She then looked down and those who were in the courtyard were also looking up while some were running back into the school. Valerie had no idea where DA, Keesha, Wanda and Phoebe were at this point of time but she hoped that they were somewhere safe. Faragonda then began to open a window that led to a balcony and walked out towards it "Valerie, Tecna, you both stay inside" she demanded.

Valerie stayed put as told by Faragonda but she still wanted to watch what was going on. Tecna walked towards Valerie "Guess this will be your second encounter of the Trix?" she whispered, Valerie looked up towards the girls green eyes and simply answered with a "Yes". Then the 2 women jumped as they heard Faragonda's voice tone get louder like she was speaking in a mircophone but there was mircophone "A magic projection spell!" Tecna cried.

"You've seen them many times?" Valerie asked the pink headed girl, "Yes many and have battled them several times" Tecna answered seriously. Valerie and Tecna could hear Faragonda speaking towards the Trix "You three horrible nausty witches, stop threatening my students!" she shouts. "Quiet! Faragonda! No one ask you to interupt our speech!" Stormy shouted furiously back to the Head Mistress. Valerie had a shaky feeling which was unsual for her "Bet its me they want, they have come back for me!" she whispered to Tecna who looked at her in confusion "You? Why you?" she asked.

Then there was another strike of lighting, "What is it you want ladies!" Faragonda asked remaining calm but kept a serious tone. As Valerie and Tecna watched on the Trix's projected faces seemed to get bigger in the sky as Darcy responded back to the Head Mistress "Oh not much, you find us that red frizzy headed staff member of yours and her magic motorbike then we will be on our mary way!".

Valerie who would normally have no fear really began to feel what fear felt like. She never had been summonded before by 3 evil witches who might cause her harm. "Remain calm Valerie, we will fight those evil witches Alfea fairies always win! Everything will be alright we will protect you" Tecna gentley said to Valerie as she could sense her change of attitude. Valerie who was looking at the ground, now looked up to the pink haired girl and managed to produce a smile "Your right! Must be strong, we must fight together as a team! Take changes, make mistakes and get messy!".

Valerie then noticed that Tecna was looking at her in confusion "Ha? Take Changes, make mistakes and a..." she says back, "Get messy!" i always like to say that, i use to say it all the time when i was an elementry school teacher back on Earth the kids loved it!" Valerie answered with a smile. "Righhhtttt!" Tecna answered in a confused tone.

"We will make a deal! Attention puny fairies and useless teachers of Alfea! We will give you till 5pm this evening for you to head over ethier that puny red headed human teacher of yours or their magical device and Alfea will be spared if not you will all suffer consequences!" Icy's voice heard by everyone who was present it was shortly followed by her evil laugh. Darcy and Stormy and joined in too before their projection in the clouds suddenly disappeared making the weather return to normal again.
