A Depiction Of Freedom

Notes:
I wrote this story over a year ago. It's a story about two boys who go to Hogwarts at the same time Tom Riddle and his followers are there. Just one year beneath him. It does play in Breaniebrees ASC/Kismet Universe since she fleshed out a lot of Characters. (Please check out her amazing stories!). Is otherwise pretty Canon Compliant though!

As I mentioned, I wrote this story over a year ago, it was the first fic I ever wrote and you can tell, my writing has developed massively since then and I thought about editing it but that would basically mean re-writing the whole thing. I have improved a lot, so I can't just give it minor edits, I'd sit here for hours lol.
So in case thing seems weird and convoluted, or just strangely written, just bear with me it's just old writing and I am just as confused by itlol.

The same thing goes for grammar, spelling, punctuation etc. There will be plenty of mistakes, so just try to glance over that lol.

Anyway I have about 30k words written, which I will start posting over the next few weeks, a chapter every few days, maybe someone will enjoy reading it

Chapter One
Two Boys on a Journey

The sirens were howling on this typical rainy London day, as they rushed towards the shelter of Kings Cross Station.

It felt like Summer was already over, it had been getting a lot colder over the last few days, he thought, as they now made their way through the Station.

Sebastian Sallow slowly pushed his trunk forward, towards the entrance of 9 three quarters, still slightly exhausted from before, his new owl Serene hooted as he quickly reached into his pocket to hand her a treat, which she seemed to accept gratefully, her grey and white feathers shimmering in the light.

He shook his head and fixed his gaze forward, where he saw other children walking with their parents their own trunks in tow, he felt nervous, well, nervous was too nice of a word for it, he was anxious, so many thoughts and questions were flying through his mind over the last few hours… would the sorting hat put him Slytherin like most of his family, would he make new friends, would he get good grades, would he-

"Honey, it will be alright!" He was snapped out of his thoughts and looked at his mother. Sabrina Sallow had a sweet smile on her face, her blue eyes looking at him in a way only a mother could. "It's normal to be nervous, but the more you think about it, the worse it gets, just look forward to meeting new friends and finally learning magic."

Sebastian felt himself calm down instantly, she was right it would be okay, it was just the huge load of things at once, he normally didn't get nervous or even anxious, he boasted to Wulf for weeks, how he couldn't wait to go to Hogwarts, to finally learn all the spells that existed, to become the wisest wizard there ever was… a small smile crossed his features, it would be alright his mum was right.

His eyes moved to his left, where a small lost-looking boy, walking between his parents, made his way past him, he had mousy brown hair and was shaking, his cheeks and eyes red from what seemed to be a rather recent crying fit. He was holding a tiny grey rat in his right hand and was pulling his trunk behind him with the other. Sebastian instantly felt a bit bad for him but relieved at the same time, knowing that he wasn't the only one who was a bit anxious about the thought of what lay ahead of them.

They stepped out of the pillar that was the entrance to 9 three quarters into the masses of students and parents, who also made their way towards the already steaming Train, as he heard a familiar voice to his right, and his gaze instantly snapped towards it.

"Sebastian! there you are! For a minute I thought you were too thick to remember." He turned further to see Wulf sprinting towards him, his short grey hair hanging into his eyes like always, an excited look on his face, and Sebastian couldn't contain his smile, as he also started running towards him, letting go of his trunk and shoving past two other students.

As they high-fived with a loud whoop, that held so much force that it made them both instantly wince in pain. They pulled back. "Ouch!" Sebastian gripped his hand in pain. "Always the same mistake," Wulf said, his face contorted in pain as well, he had his right hand clutched in his left, shaking it slightly.

Yes, Sebastian mentally agreed, they always were too eager to see each other and he thought their hands must've gotten used to the pain by now, but it still hurt every single time.

After a second of pain, He met Wulf's eyes, and they both burst into laughter, what did it matter though, with a friend like that he thought.

After they finally calmed a bit Sebastian spoke up. "Mum took so long, having me go over my trunk three times making sure I wouldn't forget anything!" He grimaced slightly as he explained "But still, I am more than excited", he looked at Wulf now, a glitter in his eyes.

Wulf nodded eagerly. "So excited! ´Was a bit nervous before!" He straightened his posture. "But I feel like I am more than ready now!" His look confident.

Sebastian ran a hand through his messy brown hair. "Yeah, me too!" He drifted off. "The thought of finally learning all the amazing spells we used to act out in your garden, is just too amazing!" He stared ahead shoulders raised chest out and felt ready for this great adventure.

"I see someone is fine now" he heard his mother's sweet voice from behind him.

He turned around to look at where she was standing next to her brother and Sebastian's Uncle Killian, both eyeing the two boys with smiles on their faces.

Sebastian shot them a smile and then looked at his uncle, he always liked him, as he was basically a second father to him, with the amount of time he spent at his friends' and cousins' home. "Oh, hey Uncle Killi, how are you" he shot him a swift smile.

Killian Mulciber smiled back, his grey hair was shoulder long and had the same colour as his beard, his eyes twinkled as he looked at the two boys. "Thanks, Sebastian, I am fine." his dark eyes moved over the two eager boys. " I see you two are more than ready for your first year at Hogwarts."

Sebastian nodded a smile crossing his lips, as Wulf jumped in, excitement in his voice. "Of course we are, what did you expect dad, we've been talking about nothing else for the last few weeks."

Killian and Sabrina sent each other a knowing look as they both smiled, and Sabrina spoke up first "We expected nothing else of course" her gaze swiftly moved towards the hooting train. "Now hush! go on, before the train leaves without you and you can continue to only talk about going to Hogwarts." A hint of urgency in her voice.

Sebastian and Wulf both turned to look at each other. "Aunt Sabrina is right, lets get a move on, I want to find a nice compartment and maybe meet some new people, " Wulf told him his eyes full of excitement.

Sebastian smiled and nodded, "You're right!" he pulled his trunk towards him. "Let's go, onwards to Hogwarts!"

As the boys turned towards the Hogwarts Express, their trunks behind them, they were both surprisingly pulled into a hug, each by their respected parent.

"Mum!" Sebastian groaned, as he tried to wiggle out of her grip.

"Oh Sweetie, I will miss you, dad would be so proud!" She said, a hint of sadness in her voice.

Sebastian stopped his fight for freedom, feeling the hint of sadness creep up in him, and hugged her back tightly. "I know.. I still miss him too…"

He felt his mum squeeze harder before she let go, and as he pulled back he met her gaze, she looked at him with so much warmth it blew away the short burst of sadness the thought of his dead father had brought, a small smile tugging on his lips. "I will write you weekly, I promise!" He now smiled fully at her as he took a few steps towards his trunk. and she looked at him softly.

She smiled back and waved goodbye just as Wulf wiggled his way out of his father's grip next to her, "Enough Dad!" He stepped away from Killian, still facing him. "Tell mum, that I am not sad she couldn't come." Wulf told him honestly and Killian nodded "I know she's still working on this important case at the ministry" he looked confident and waved goodbye as he made his way towards Sebastian, with his trunk in tow.

They both turned around with one last wave but now focused their attention on the Hogwarts Express in front of them. Wulf slightly elbowed him in the side and met his gaze. "I am so ready for this!"

Sebastian's lips curved, his eyes on the train. "Me too, brother, me too…"

As they made their way through the Train searching for an empty compartment, they came past a group of students who seemed to be a bit older than them, they were lounging and chatting in the hallway of the express.

"They're just so scary!." A blond-haired girl exclaimed, looking slightly distraught, as Sebastian and Wulf pushed past her.

"I know the rumors." A boy with dark hair answered." I've heard their escapades are nothing less than dangerous." Making Sebastian wonder who they were talking about.

He quickly pushed the thoughts from his mind and shook his head as they finally found an empty compartment, he opened the door, made his way towards the seats, and sat down, Wulf plopping onto the bench across from him, a big grin etched onto his face.

"It's happening!" He declared, he couldn't keep still, making Sebastian laugh. "We´re going to Hogwarts!" Wulf continued. "I've dreamt about this moment for years."

Sebastian agreed, he also had trouble containing his excitement. "Do you remember last Summer?" Sebastian started, a mischievous grin on his face, looking at a now upright-sitting Wulf. "Last summer, when we ruined Uncle Killi´s Study, acting like we were at Hogwarts, and it was our Dorm Room."

Wulf's lips curved. "Of course I do." His gaze moved around the compartment for a second. "That was one of our more harmless Stunts over the years." As he looked at Sebastian again and they both snickered.

"Oh you mean Slytherin could be the house for us," Sebastian replied, a twinkle in his eyes.

Wulf looked at him in amusement. "Oh that's not what I said, but I mean…"

"Slytherin!" A voice rang out making them both look at the compartment door where a scrawny-looking boy with curly dark hair was standing.

In their snickering, they had both failed to notice that someone had actually opened their compartment door and was now sticking his head inside.

"Nobody wants to be in Slytherin!" The boy exclaimed looking confident but still friendly.

"And who are you?" Sebastian asked, his brows furrowed." How about knocking before bursting into a room and crashing a conversation."

Wulf shot the boy a stern look making him wince.

"I am sorry." the boy exclaimed, his dark eyes fixed on Sebastian. "All the compartments are full and I wanted to ask if I could sit here." He took a step in and closed the door behind him, as he met Sebastian's gaze again. "I am Merrick Thomas, but call me Rick!" the boy looked a bit unsure now.

Sebastian shot him a swift smile. "Of course you can sit here with us, we don't own the train you know."

"Not yet at least!" Wulf interjected a wicked grin on his face.

Rick grinned and made his way over to them, plopping himself down on the bench next to Sebastian." Thanks, guys!" He exclaimed, looking at them curiously. "So what are your names", his eyes moving between Sebastian and Wulf.

"I am Wulf Mulciber!" Wulf explained, puffing out his chest, making Sebastian snort silently, he thought that Wulf sometimes was a bit too proud of his name, all only because his mum was the head Auror in the Ministry… "And this is my best friend, cousin, and basically brother, Sebastian Sallow." Wulf continued nodding in his direction.

Sebastian looked towards Rick again. "We´re first years!" He told the newcomer. "And we were just discussing which house the sorting hat would place us in!" He met Rick's gaze and raised an eyebrow. "It seems like you aren't too fond of Slytherin?" Looking at him in interest.

Rick nodded eagerly." My sister said so, she's a fourth-year Ravenclaw." He leaned forward and lowered his voice "She told me the Slytherins are horrible, especially the second yea..." He was suddenly interrupted on his rant when someone knocked on the door.

"Come in!" Wulf called out, as all three boys stared at the opening door in intrigue, interested in who the newcomer might be.

Suddenly a girl, looking about their age stuck her head in, she had dark blue eyes and long black hair which fell over her shoulders.

Her eyes were in slits making her look almost dangerous. "Good day, I am looking for my Brother, have you seen him." She asked, her voice neutral but slightly curious.

Sebastian locked eyes with her, unsure of the visitor. "Well nobody came in except for us here. " He told her honestly, gesturing towards the other boys. "But if we know his name we will tell him you're looking for him." He explained. "In case we meet him!"

The Girl seemed to look him up and down curiously for a second and then turned towards Rick her expression changing in an instant. "I don't like to speak, with people like him in the room." As her look changed to one of disdain.

Sebastian was confused and Wulf raised his eyebrows meeting her steely gaze. "What do you mean, with people like him?" He seemed annoyed at the rudeness of the girl. "And why him and not us?" He asked confusion and annoyance on his face.

The girl huffed. "I know you two!" Nodding towards Sebastian and Wulf "As I am well educated on our society." She stood with her arms crossed and continued. "But him-" She again looked at Rick. "-I don't-" She turned towards Wulf again. "-That means he's not worth my time or breath."

"You know us?" Sebastian chimed in, his confusion apparent in his voice. "How? From where?" He didn't like this girl, she was rude and seemed to dislike their new mate, he looked at Rick and saw him silently staring at the floor, hurt in his eyes.

The Girl stared at him for a few seconds before she finally spoke. "You're a Sallow and he-" She nodded towards Wulf- "-Is a Mulciber!" Her eyes now moving over the boys a look of superiority on her face.

Sebastian was even more confused, how did she know…

Before he could continue his train of thought Wulf spoke up. "You're educated on the honorable Pureblood houses aren't you?" He asked, a stern but curious look on his face as he stared at the girl.

She shook her head in disdain. "Of course I am, every pureblood should be,.. and he- " She nodded towards Rick again, making him look up at her for a second before he dropped his gaze again. "-Him, I don't know, so he's either no real wizard or a blood traitor." Her face looked sour as she finished. "So not worth my time."

Sebastian froze, he heard of the indoctrination that was rampant in some of the noble pureblood families but witnessing it firsthand was something else entirely, he focused again and took a deep breath, meeting the girl's confident gaze that lingered on the boys. "So who are you?" He asked, his eyes not leaving hers.

She raised an eyebrow. "You don't know? I thought all worthy witches and wizards learned about the noble and pure houses?" For the first time, her look changed from one of disdain to one of curiosity, as she slightly leaned against the doorway of the cabin.

Sebastian leaned back on his seat, still meeting her gaze "No we don't, at least not more than some basics." he looked over to Wulf who nodded in agreement.

Rick was now staring at his hands, still looking uncomfortable from the whole situation.

The girl suddenly took two big steps forward and reached out her right hand towards Sebastian, almost making him flinch, his eyes snapping back up towards hers. "I am Druella Rosier." her dark blue eyes bore into his brown ones.

He slowly raised his hand shaking hers. "Sebastian Sallow." he made a gesture towards Wulf. "This is my best friend and cousin, Wulf Mulciber" as she took another look at the boy in question. "And this-" He looked at Rick who seemed to have composed himself a bit and was now looking at them curiously. " -Is Merrick Thomas." Sebastian met Druella's gaze again. "We just met him" he straightened his back. "But if you don't respect him." His voice loud and clear. "Don't expect to be respected by us!" He told her in a firm voice.

Druella eyed him for a second before she snorted and abruptly turned towards Rick, making him flinch, she looked him up and down. "Are you a Halfblood?" She asked him, her voice neutral.

Rick slowly looked up and met her eyes, after a second he nodded. "My mum is a pureblood, dad's a half-blood." He stuttered, still looking unsure.

Druella´s gaze lingered on him for a moment before she sighed. "I guess that's okay then, but don't expect me to make friends with you, if father or mother found out…" She froze and her mind seemed to drift for a moment before she caught herself, shaking her head, she spun around again and took a step towards Wulf, also extending her hand to him, which after a moment he shook as well. "Wulf Mulciber!"

Druella nodded in recognition and let her gaze wander between the boys for a second before she spoke again. "Call me Elle!" She fixed her gaze on Sebastian again. "I would like to join you here-" She paused. "-at least you two." As she shot Rick another look over her shoulder, just before she spun around and strode back towards the door, taking one look back at them. "But I have to find Enzo, my idiot brother, see you at Hogwarts!" Before they could reply the door closed and she was gone.

The compartment room was quiet for a few seconds, no one making a sound except for the rattling of the train, until with a long sigh Wulf spoke up. "Now what a ray of sunshine that was." As he pinched the bridge of his nose, making Sebastian snort. "True that, well, if we´re in Slytherin we will have to deal with her." The thought alone made his head spin.

Rick spoke up next to him, his voice confident again. "That's why Gryffindor is the house!" His eyes twinkling.

"Gryffindor?" Wulf exclaimed raising an eyebrow. "Didn't you just say your sister was in Ravenclaw?"

Rick nodded and smiled. "Yeah, but she can be pretty unbearable." He shook his head. "Always reading or studying, you can't even get her to play a round of Gobstones." Rick snorted, "That's way too boring for my liking!"

Sebastian had to agree with that assessment, Ravenclaw didn't really intrigue him that much, but Gryffindor? Would he fit in there, he didn't see himself as some kind of martyr or saint as all the Gryffindors he knew seemed to do. Still, of course, He would do everything for the people that were close to him, but… Gryffindor.

Wulf broke the silence, with a cough. "Well, how does Hufflepuff sound?" Making Sebastian and Rick snort in unison.

"Really Wulf?" Sebastian had a grin on his face now ."Hufflepuff?" He said as he met Wulf's eyes. "The house of good boys… That doesn't sound like us!" Wulf and Rick stifled a laugh, and Wulf agreed. "Well, you're right on that one!"

Rick turned towards Sebastian. "A childhood friend of mine came from a family of Hufflepuffs." He told them. "They were the most boring bunch you could ever meet!" As he made a disgusted face. "I never knew you could talk about plants for 6 hours straight." He shook his head and Wulf snorted, "That does sound like torture!"

Rick´s head snapped towards him. "Oh yeah, it was!" His lips curving now. "They almost kicked me out once, after I fed their priced Dittany to one of their Mooncalves."

Sebastian and Wulf laughed, "I can imagine!" Sebastian told him. He looked towards Wulf, a smirk crossing his lips "We once set a Dugbog on my Uncle's Puffskein, it was swallowed whole, and Uncle Killi had to petrify the bog and pull the Puffskein out of its mouth. "Wulf and Rick laughed. "Oh, I remember that, dad was livid for weeks! "Wulf exclaimed laughter still on his face.

They continued their light banter for a while and Sebastian thought that maybe Gryffindor really was the right house for them, Rick seemed to think so and he was pretty amazing; he remembered that he once heard Uncle Killi talk about how the Sorting Hat took ones own opinion into consideration, and maybe Rick was correct and Gryffindor truly was the right choice…

His eyes moved to Rick who suddenly pulled something out of his schoolbag making Sebastian raise his eyebrows in interest, it seemed to be some kind of rolled-up duvet but it looked old and ornate.

"What's that?" Wulf asked, his eyebrows also raised in curiosity.

"Any guesses?" Rick grinned at them as he unrolled it and Sebastian stared at the intricate details that were woven into it, if he didn't know better he would say it was a piece of carpet, but why would anyone bring a carpet to school… unless?

Sebastian's head shot up. "Is it a flying carpet?" He exclaimed excitedly.

Rick smiled at him and nodded. "It is indeed!"

"That's amazing!" Wulf shouted as he shot up from his seat and made his way over to Rick, inspecting the red piece of fabric carefully.

Sebastian moved closer to the bench as well, now taking in the intricate details on the flying carpet, it looked old and valuable. "Where did you get that from?" Sebastian moved his gaze upwards and looked at Rick, who was proudly presenting his priced possession.

"My grandad bought it on a trip to Baghdad years ago." He explained, passing the carpet over to Wulf who looked like his eyes would bulge out of his head in awe. "He gave it to me on my tenth birthday." Rick looked proud telling them.

"That's amazing!" Sebastian fixed his gaze onto the red fabric again, when suddenly another knock sounded on the door, making Wulf groan loudly. "Don't you ever get some privacy in here?" As he handed Rick back his carpet, he bent down, quickly rolled it up again, and stuffed it back inside his bag.

He looked up at them. "I don't know if Hogwarts allows flying carpets so I'd rather keep it between us for the time being." He met their gazes with an unsure look.

They nodded. "Of course!" Sebastian promised as Wulf made his way back towards his seat. We won't tell anyone!" As It again, knocked on the door.

Wulf sighed. "Oh, I almost forgot… Come in!" He exclaimed.

The door opened slowly, and a tall boy with short dark brown hair stood there, he seemed to be a bit older than them, Sebastian looked at him in curiosity, he saw two other boys standing behind the dark-haired boy, they were all wearing black and green Slytherin robes.

"May I come in?" The boy asked in a smooth and friendly voice, his brown eyes fixed on them.

Wulf sent Sebastian a quick look before he nodded. "Of course, you're welcome in here!"

The Boy smiled charmingly and took a step in, as the other boys who stood behind him made a move to come in as well, but the dark-haired boy only held up his right hand, and they stepped back, he took another step towards the three boys sitting in the compartment and closed the door behind him, leaving, what seemed to be his friends outside.

For a second his gaze wandered over the three boys sitting there, as Sebastian met his brown eyes, and he turned towards him. "I am Tom!" he smiled at him. "I am guessing you're some of the new first years?"

Sebastian smiled back. "We are! Me and him-" he gestured towards Wulf "-are best Friends, his name is Wulf Mulciber." He felt like he had given that introduction a million times today. "I am Sebastian Sallow!" He turned towards Rick. "And that is Merrick Thomas, we just met him."

Tom looked at the boys in interest before he met Sebastian's eyes again, for a second he seemed to just stare at him before he smiled and his gaze softened again. "Then, welcome to Hogwarts!" He took a step towards them. "I am Tom Riddle, a second-year Slytherin." He grinned "I take you guessed that looking at my robes."

Wulf laughed. "Well, it was hard to miss!"

Tom's eyes moved towards him and he smiled. "Well, you seem to be perceptive." He raised an eyebrow his lips still curved. "It seems I have found myself some future Slytherins!"

Suddenly Rick snorted next to Sebastian, making Tom turn towards him. "Did I say something to upset you, Merrick?" he looked apologetic.

Rick's smug expression instantly turned into one of slight guilt. "Oh no I didn't mean-" he started. "-it's just that I've heard… I mean, my sister told me…" His voice lowered "…that all Slytherins are… evil." He finished, eyes fixed on the floor.

Tom stared at him, an unreadable expression on his face. "Well, Merrick…" he was suddenly interrupted as Rick´s head shot up for a second. "Call me Rick!" he seemed to meet Tom's gaze before he looked down again.

Tom only smiled at him. "Sorry… Rick!" He continued. "Of course I would never doubt anything someone as trustworthy as your sister would say-" Rick now lifted his head and looked at Tom, while Sebastian just stared at the two boys in curiosity, to see where this was going.

"-But we aren't evil!" Tom continued. "At least not all of us" He shot Rick another smile. "Of course, there are a few bad seeds between us-" His look now slightly concerned. "-but just last year a fifth-year Gryffindor was found to have tried to cast a forbidden course on a classmate." Tom now looked serious as he continued. "I imagine your sister told you about that?" He raised an eyebrow and Rick nodded. "Yeah… That's true, she did."

Rick seemed to relax a bit and Tom's lips curved into a friendly smile again. "And has she also told you that it was a Slytherin who noticed and alerted the headmaster about it, stopping a tragedy from happening?" His eyes fixed on Rick.

Rick´s eyes widened. "Really?" He shook his head. "No, that part she left out." He looked a bit annoyed. "But I knew there was more to the story than she let on!" His hands now crossing in front of his chest. "I will ask her about it the next time I see her!"

Tom´s smile now looked pleased! "Do that, I imagine she would never lie to you on purpose…"

Rick suddenly interjected. "Oh, she does, a lot actually!" He looked angry. "That's why I am not surprised she left out parts to the story…" It was quiet for a second before Tom spoke up again.

"Well!" He turned towards Sebastian again. "We Slytherins don't lie to each other… We basically see each other as brothers united under one house, loyal friends!" His friendly look traveling between Sebastian and Wulf. "Does that make sense?" His eyebrows raised as his lips curved into a charming smile.

Sebastian nodded eagerly, of course that made sense, it sounded like the Slytherins saw each other like he and Wulf saw each other, it didn't matter that they weren't brothers by blood, as their friendship and loyalty for each other made them as good as real, he shot a look towards Wulf who had the same dumbstruck happy expression on his face.

"That's just like us!" Wulf called out, making Tom slightly tilt his head in curiosity. "Is it, Wulf?" His brown eyes twinkling.

Wulf nodded eagerly, his eyes wide. "It totally sounds like us!" As his head turned towards him, and Sebastian also nodded in agreement.

Tom seemed to look pleased for a second until the typical friendly smile crossed his lips again. "Loyal… perceptive… a brotherly bond… Slytherin really seems like the house for you two!" Before Sebastian and Wulf could answer he spoke up again.

"The reason I initially came in here was-" Tom started, "-that I wanted to ask you something, to be precise, you, Sebastian!" Their gazes met and Sebastian raised an eyebrow in interest, what could this Tom want from him, he didn't even know anything about him, but he seemed really nice so…

"Of course!" Sebastian spoke up. "I have no idea where you know me from, but sure, fire away!" He shot him a swift smile which Tom reciprocated.

"Elle told me we had a Sallow on board." He smiled. "I've heard the stories of your grandfather, the ones that are publicly known and the ones that, how to say-" his eyes glittered in curiosity. "-that are under the rugs." His deep brown eyes bored into Sebastian making him swallow.

"What kind of stories?" Sebastian felt a bit unsure now, he knew that his grandfather, whom he was named after, had a rocky youth, to say the least, but what under-the-rug stories could Tom mean?

Tom seemed to detect the uncertainty on his face and shot him his charming smile again. "Oh no, nothing bad!" He tilted his head. "I read a lot about Sebastian Sallow Senior." He explained. "And I was most impressed how he cared for his sister!"

Sebastian seemed to detect some kind of look in his eyes but pushed the thoughts away as Tom continued. "Going out of his way to do everything in his power to save her…"

He took a step back and let his gaze move over the other boys in the compartment before he continued. "But If I think about it, I should ask you another time!" His lips curving- "For now I don't want to take up too much of your time, you only visit Hogwarts for the first time once!"

He suddenly pulled out his wand and with a swift flick conjured a small silver table full of sweets of all kinds in the middle of the room, making the three boys awed in surprise

"Wicked" Rick called out as he leaned forwards grabbing a handful, Wulf doing the same.

Sebastian couldn't believe his eyes, he didn't think any second-year could just pull off such a spell, he only saw adults do them, and even they seemed to struggle with such a fiend. His gaze moved towards Tom again who had taken another step back and watched the boys curiously, the signature smile on his lips, as their gazes met Tom shot him a wink and with a swift motion turned around opening the door.

He shot the boys a final look "Enjoy! I look forward to seeing you in Hogwarts, in green and silver of course" he laughed his eyes twinkling, as he stepped outside and closed the door behind him.

Sebastian was grinning from ear to ear, he really liked this boy, Tom Riddle he said his name was, if that's how all the Slytherins were, he knew where he wanted to be!
