PROLOGUE - The Beginning the Peace Academy Killing Game:
My mind was still winded down as I open my eyes to the sound of old light panels and a fan was what woke me up from a deep slumber in a school chair and desk. The air was a little grimy but it was breathable enough for me not to suffocate in it. My head ached a bit as I tried to sit upright in the unrecognized room, it seems to be a classroom, except the windows were barred and no one in here but me. In other, more shorter words.
"Where the fuck am I?" I asked the mediocre air as I looked around. I stood up from my chair, which sounds easier than it really was.
I felt a throbbing pain from my head as I looked around. All the neon pink walls was giving me a headache, so I quickly stepped out the room and into a purple tinted hallway... why is everything here so pop-like? My thoughts were immediately interrupted by the sound of the intercoms, "Attention all students, please meet in the cafeteria for introductions!" And then that ear-piercing voice, was interrupted by a lower pitched and less intense voice, "We will both be happy to meet all 12 of you, here!"
The intercoms turned off.
Am I not the only person here? Is there other Ultimate Students? I might as well find out, better head to this 'cafeteria'... wherever that may be...
I wandered for a bit before coming across a large door with the word CAFETERIA plastered on it in big bold letters. I wandered in to be met by...
"There's the 12th person..." Some guy said as I walked in, "Oh good, we won't have to go on any more wild goose chases.", "I said I was sorry for that!", I was suddenly bombarded with multiple grouped conversations between many different kinds of people. However, there was one person that I recognized, who was in another group.
"Ah! Hello sister!", Kenzou said, as I approached him.
Kenzou Hagihara, The Ultimate Librarian, and my brother, he is a really kind person and he is great at his job at the local library. Speaking of the Hagihara family, I should probably introduce myself finally, my name is Chidori Hagihara,The Ultimate Soldier, like my brother I am good at what I am supposed to, I fight in wars even if most believe I'm to young for it.
"Sister?" I heard, Kenzou breaking my thoughts with a confused expression. "Ah, right, sorry bro, I zoned out a bit." Kenzou smiled again, seemingly happy I am fine. "So... you two are related?" One of the strangers he was talking to asked, "No shit..." I replied under my breath "I'm Chidori, Ultimate Soilder, what's your name?", the stranger holds out their hand for a handshake as they introduce their name, "My name is Ikuro Tsujida, I'm the Ultimate Lucky Student!" I shake their hand as they introduce themselves.
When we were suddenly interrupted by-"Phehehe! We're doing introductions now? Then I say I go next! My name is Mai Hinata~! The Ultimate Scientist~!" She giggled maniacally as she stated this, her passion and height were literally on two entire levels.
Another girl, the same height as the insane sounding dwarf we met less than ten seconds ago, walks up to us, "I apologize for my sister... she's a bit...", "Bad in the mental state?" Ikuro asked, "Yeah..." the second dwarf replied, "But since I'm here already... I should probably introduce myself too... I am Kai Hinata, The Ultimate Lab Subject." She seemed very gentle with her introduction, I was about to introduce myself too but she was dragged away by Mai.
I decided to introduce myself to as many other people possible so I walked up to another group of people, two people in vigorous debate and another just watching.
"Come on Kenji, you know I hate it when you run off like that..." "I was scared... I didn't know what to do...", the slightly older one sighed. I approached them, "Oh... uh hi?" The younger one said as I came in approaching. "Hey there! I'm Chidori Hagihara, Ultimate Soldier, what's your name?"
The young one stuttered for a moment over his words before taking a deep breath and speaking with a little more confidence, "I am Kenji Tadashi, The Ultimate Defense Attorney!" He spoke, doing a dramatic finger point, as if he were in a video game. "... You played too much Ace Attorney recently..." The older one said, and he was probably right...
"Anyway, I'm Yoshi Tadashi, Ultimate Prosecutor." He said, cutting to the chase immediately, this guy must not be kidding around, with a stoic stature he gave me a glare before going back to the heated discussion with his younger brother.
My attention shifted to the person just listening in the background of this discussion, they seem to be jotting down notes... slowly... "Uh... Hi?" The person I spoke to jumped as they heard me, "Oh! Sorry-sorry!", "It's okay... what's your name?" He took a second, after writing down some stuff and look through a book in his hand, he answered, "I Charlie Smith, I Ultimate Poet!"
... Well he definitely doesn't sound that poetic...
"He doesn't speak Japanese." I heard behind me, making me and Charlie jump. "... What?" I asked, "He is an English speaker, which is why he is bad at speaking to us since I bet he barely understands the language." Charlie looked confused and this woman casually told him in English what we were saying... or at least that's what I think? "Oh and if you are wondering, my name is Eiko Kumagai, I am the Ultimate Translator."
"Oh, nice to meet you, my name's-", "Chidori Hagihara, Ultimate Soldier, I heard over you talking to the lawyers." I froze in shock, but felt better after her explanation.
I decided to approach the final group which consisted of an average man, someone in winter clothes... and a cat...
"Uh... Hello there?" The average looking ass man turn to me and looks me up and down before speaking, "So... have you been in this situation before?", I was confused about his question, but I ended up responding with a "No, not before...", "Good... maybe I can prevent this game from starting still..." confused and creeped out a little by his comments, I turned my attention to the person in winter clothes.
"Hi there?" She turns to me and stands before me, "Hello there! What's your name?" She seems more normal than half the people I've met so far... "My name is Chidori Hagihara, the Ultimate Soldier." She responds with a kind tone, "Nice to meet you! I'm Fuyuko Yukimura, the Ultimate Farmer."
She picks up the cat, which has a black pelt with white spots here and there, and a metal collar, "And this is Whiskers, the Ultimate Support Animal!" I can't help but to awh at the cat and start petting it, "I can't believe they let her in~!" I say, not expecting the next response to be by "IM MALE" I heard from the cat, I jump back in surprise, "OH, SORRY IF I STARTLED YOU, I SPEAK LOUD!" Everyone's attention is focused on the cat, and Fuyuko is acting like this is her regular Tuesday morning...
"A talking cat... this is quite interesting! Phehehe..." Mai said, interested in the talking cat, "Let me guess! It's the collar! Ideas are transmitted through the cats mind to the collar and translated into Japanese for us to understand!" Fuyuko talks back, "Now that's just ridiculous, how would that work?", suddenly a voice came out from the speakers.
... the same shrilling voice from earlier...
"Actually, that's exactly how it works! Monohito confirmed it itself!" Then the calm voice responded to it, "Oh please, it was barely anything-" It was suddenly cut off by the guy I don't know of.
"BOTH OF YOU! Quiet, I am here to stop you once and for all, for I am Masuda Tanaka, and I will stop you from starting another killing game!" Everyone, including myself, stared at Masuda in shock... Killing game? This guy must be more insane than Mai... that's what we thought until the speakers confirmed it, "Oh, Masuda! As a life time fan of Danganronpa, you should know that these killing games don't end until the final chapters, now then, us two would like to introduce ourselves to all of you!"
The cafeteria went to whispers... killing game? Danganronpa? Chapters?! What's going on here?!
... Suddenly everyone started to stare at the center table of the cafeteria, which I will say, is strange, so I walk up to it, and I think I need an eye doctor-I'm insane-or a Black and White Plush and a man dressed up like a magician with steampunk ascetic appeared at that table from no where...
"Hello students! My name is Monokuma! This schools head master!" And then the steampunk magician also introduced itself, "And my name is Monohito, the headmaster's assistant." Everyone could only stare in shock and curiosity as they introduced themselves. "So... your planning to starts a killing game I assume." Eiko said, the loud plushie quickly responded, "Yep! Oh, and I have one other thing to announce it's-" Monokuma suddenly got cut off by Monohito, "It's time for your student handbooks!" followed by it passing around tablets, they are light but they don't seem too interesting...
"These are your Monopads! You can access the school and killing game rules here, as well as access a digital shop to use your Monocoins with! Most questions can be answered on the Monopad." Monokuma said before turning to Monohito and pulling it away, seemingly annoyed by Monohito interrupting him.
Suddenly, Masuda said something that shocked everyone, "Everyone, quickly break your hand books...", Mai responded quickly "But WHHHHHYYYYYY?! It's so interesting!", "Because it's going to be one of the reasons the death game begins, it's gonna give you all motives and ideas to murder." Everyone went into silence as Masuda spoke so confidently... too confidently.
"Why are you so confident in your reasoning, Masuda?" Eiko asked, and Masuda responded "... None of your bees wax..." He walked out.
"... Well now the crazy person is gone." said Fuyuko, "AGREED." stated Whiskers.
