"Not…. Not that I am complaining, but what brought this on?" Lancex asked, unaware that they had been locked in the med bay.
"What do you mean?" Asked Cosmos, confused, "I was told that you wanted to see me by Jazz."
"I was told by Mirage that Ratchet wanted to see me in the med bay. Had no idea why, but you never question why a medic wants to see you, or so Aquaformer once told me."
"Skyfire said him Lancex wanted to see me Grimlock" Grimlock revealed as he recovered.
Optimus began to suspect a set up. "I was told by Ultra Magnus that Lancex wanted to speak with me about something" Optimus revealed.
Lancex thought about it. Ultra Magnus, Skyfire, Jazz, and Mirage. It likely meant one thing – this was a set up, and only two bots came to mind who would dare pull this off – Ratchet or Aquaformer. True. Lamcex didn't mind the outcome, but he would have liked it better if this hadn't done behind his back. "I have a feeling this was a set up for us, to get the four of us together" Lancex mentioned, his systems now recovered.
"Who set up?" Grimlock queried.
"Not many bots would dare set up Optimus and Grimlock. Both are powerful Autobots you wouldn't necessarily want to make angry. Plus, who is close enough to know which bot to send to whom?" Cosmos asked, amazed anyone could even attempt to pull this off.
"My guess is Ratchet, since we are in the med bay" Optimus muttered, who was close but not close enough.
"I think Ratchet was party to it, but I don't think this cockamamie scheme was his brainchild" Lancex uttered.
"Who him Lancex think did this?" Grimlock asked, demanding to know.
"Think about it. Who knows the most of who are friends, who don't get along as well. Only a femme could be so careful to cover their tracks by having the mechs do most of the work for her" Lancex replied.
Optimus looked at the bot. "Seriously? Aquaformer who is sparked?"
"Just because a femme is sparked doesn't mean she can't meddle in things, as my bearer always said" Cosmos added.
"Ok, so now what?" Grimlock asked.
"Well, I would say we talk to the bots to find out for sure, and if it is indeed true that Aquaformer masterminded this, we must carefully teach her not to meddle" Optimus replied.
"If it is true she did it, let me confront her. She will likely tell me the truth" Lancex said, knowing Aquaformer better than the others. They all agreed but for now they would enjoy each other, unaware that the doors to the med bay were no longer locked, though they would find out soon enough.
