"I can't believe you and Eric took your lil one to a horror movie, poor lil guy as he climbed into my bed but I reassured him he was safe and that you and Eric wouldn't let him get hurt or bad guys come after him." RJ heard Herbert say. "Sorry Herbie aboht that and Eric and I helped calm him down but get that he's still scared. Like me when I first came here." he told him.
It was early morning a few days later after Eric and RJ had taken Chance to the movies and had seen Interview with A Vampire and a certain scene had freaked Chance out but both his dads had conforted him getting he'd have bad ddreams but felt bad which Eric had relaxed him about noticing Chance looked tired eating breakfast guessing he needed an nap seeing Herbert agreeing seeing the male badger cub asleep scooping him up gently carrying him to his room tucking him in kissing his furry head, turning the bat shaped night light on seeing him relaxed seeing RJ tired himself sensing he hadn't been sleeping either.
"I thought it would be okay and didn't know it would freak him oht. I'm scared that Blade will come for us as he's a vampire hunter and me, my sweet Eric and our adorable Chance would be dead." he admitted to Herbert feeling him hug him understanding. "I'm not going to let that happen." he reassured RJ ruffling his furry head.
He heard him yawning but conking out so was seeing Eric there understanding after Herbert had explained to him relieved Chance was taking an nap as he and RJ had been worried about him noticing RJ was having trouble sleeping kissing his furry head seeing him relax in sleep sensing his aura relieving Herbert. He realised that Eric, Chance and RJ were becominga family of their own which was sweet.
"I should get some work done, while they're sleeping." Herbert mumbled heading to his study to work and then maybe rest havibg to get up early making breakfast for Chance and RJ plus R3was still asleep being littler than Chance andRJ hoping he'd be okay plus checking in with Rocket seeing him watering something in a flowerpot realising what was inside.
"If he visits, he'll be surprised that RJ has a family of his own." he said.
"Is Chance feeling better, RJ why was he so freaked out." RJ heard R3 asking. It was later that day, and Chance, RJ and R3 were hanging out seeing them eating Cheese-Whiz as they were hungry after sleeping for a bit but Chance was quiet.
"He's still freaked out from the movie but Eric and Herbie were helping him relax." RJ said so Chance couldn't hear himand get freaked out. Plus RJ was scared that Blade wouldcome looking for them but was calming him down hoping they would feel better plus RJ didn't want Chance to get freaked out again.
