Rewriting: Xros Wars: Hunters' Legacy Season 03 Episode 06
We see that Tagiru and Yuu were pushing their bicycles up a paved road that was on a hill and complaining about not being up to the top yet. "We're not even close to the top yet. We should have used Firamon it would be way faster." Tagiru complained about the sitatuion.
"Ya, that's a great idea let's unleash a flaming lion the size of a bus in the middle of a public road where everyone can see and freak out." Yuu stated answering back to Tagiru's complaining about the situation.
"I guess you're right." Tagiru sighed too tired to even argue about that "Still I'm surprised you believe in ghosts and spirits enough to come all this way."
"I don't, I thought it might be a Digimon or Wild Data causing trouble." Yuu answered back about why they were going to investigate at all. "There are Digimon that resemble ghosts and stuff."
"That's why we came along." Coronamon stated from Tagiru's Digivice having a similar thought process to this.
"Ya, but is there really gonna be a phone booth up there? I thought you humans stopped using them." Tyutyumon stated about what they were looking for.
"Some were left in opperation in case of emergencies." Yuu answered back about why they'd find it there. "Places such as this still have need of them. There it is." He'd spoken as they spotted the phone booth that they were looking for.
"I thought there was an abandoned hospital nearby, I don't see one." Tagiru stated about what they were seeing.
"Rumors change as they travel, the part about the hospital might not be true." Yuu stated as he'd began checking out that booth.
They'd gone to check out the phone and tried to listen in for anything when Yuu had heard someone asking for help, and some girl with red hair appeared holding a device excitedly stating "Give me that phone!" snatching it from his hand and listening in. There wasn't anything from the other end of the line for her but the device began acting up.
"Uh, who are you?" Tagiru questioned the girl who'd interrupted their investigation of the phone booth.
"I'm the Spirit Hunter, Kaoru." The girl answered back about who she was while noticing their digivices questioning "You two are spirit hunters too right?"
"We're investigating what's going on." Tagiru answered back not really saying yes or no to that question.
"I have a trace of a spiritual phenomenon to follow." The girl, Kaoru told them as she was trying to follow her device running off to investigate.
Yuu and Tagiru both looked towards one another and noddd following after where the three had discovered the abandoned hospital that they'd been told about by the rumor, or at least what was supposed to be the hospital. It had actually turned out to be an old abandoned power plant instead and they'd decided to still check the place out regardless as the gate moved by itself.
"This looks like an old hydro electric plant, vibrations caused by the water could have made the gate move on it's own." Kaoru stated to the two of them.
"We should be cautious of any Digimon that might appear." Yuu spoke so that Kaoru couldn't hear while they followed and Tagiru nodded in response.
The three had gone inside and the device Kaoru was using had gone nuts as she states "It's like the signal is coming from all directions."
Suddenly the old phone there began to ring despite this place being abandoned. When Kaoru tried to answer it a strange black energy had appeared around the phone and started to overtake the area forcing the doors and windows shut. Now there was no way in or out of this situation, however they still had their Digimon so it wasn't a completely hopless situation at least for Yuu and Tagiru.
A familar blonde girl had come running out of a room with a green glow with Tagiru questioning "What are you doing here Airu?"
"I was hunting when Opossummon was taken!" Airu answered back about why she had been there at all. They'd heared Kaoru scream and ran towards where it was coming from as she was taken by some green veil thing.
"She's disappeared." Yuu spoke surprised by the veil that had appeared to snatch away Kaoru wondering just what it was. "I think it's time we let our Digimon out, Reload Tyutyumon!" With that his little gold mouse Digimon with the red gloves had appeared and jumped up onto his shoulder.
"Right, Reload, Coronamon!" Tagiru called out sending his Digimon Partner out as well who'd stood next to him at the ready.
"There!" Tyutyumon spoke gesturing to where something had appeared and they'd all ran off to go to investigate what it was.
"What is this thing? I thought there might be some cute ghost Digimon or something like the cute ghosts you see on tv, and it took away Opossummon." Airu stated about why she'd been there wondering what that thing was.
"Karma's a bitch Airu." Yuu stated to her in response as they'd noticed a green floating blob behind Airu.
"What's that supposed to mean!?" She'd questioned demanding to know just what they were talking about.
"You tried to take away Akari's Digimon Partner, and now yours has been taken away by something." Tyutyumon stated to Airu causing her to pout.
"Oh and the ghost thing is behind you." Coronamon then stated bluntly, however it had vanished by the time she'd tried to look.
"Airu get in the middle, everyone else, pick a tunnel and don't take your eyes off of it." Yuu then told them as they'd all turned to look in different directions.
"Corona Knuckle!" Coronamon called out striking at the blob as it tried to attack from above punching part of it with his flaming fist forcing it to retreat. "This whole thing is getting on my nerves!"
"Alright, tell us why is it after you?" Yuu then demanded from Airu who'd stopped to think about it.
"I set a trap, and when Oppossummon went to check whatever had sprung it there was a strange light that appeared." Airu answered about what happened.
"Right then, Time Shift!" Tagiru called out as they'd entered into DigiQuartz and ran to where the trap had been set, discovering it was in a very large underground area.
They'd discovered Opossummon with a white thing on their head and a hat that belonged to Kaoru seeing that they were possessed. "I know Sonic Charge!" Airu spoke hopeful as both Tagiru and Yuu had slapped their foreheads with the palms of their hands.
"Opossummon Digivolve To.." The Digimon called as they'd changed into their next stage of power "Cho·Hakkaimon!"
"See it's fine now, you recognize me don't you?" Airu called out to her partner thinking that basically solved the problem.
"You're an idiot." Tyutyumon stated bluntly to Airu in response to their actions angering her as Cho·Hakkaimon prepared to attack them.
"We got this, Sonic Charge, Double Time!" Tagiru called blasting his digimon partner with energy from his Digivice.
"Coronamon Warp Digivolve To.." The little red lion digimon called as he'd jumped into the air being engulfed in an orange sphere of energy and began growing larger, once he'd gotten big enough he'd shattered it now appearing in his currently strongest form. "Flaremon!"
"Alright Flaremon, do your thing." Tyutyumon told the larger Digimon who'd flicked the hat off of Cho·Hakkaimon's head with one of his large claws before setting it on fire and tapping them on top of the head with it.
This had caused whatever was on Cho·Hakkaimon's head to catch fire and pop off wiggling around in the air looking like a little ghost blob creature and Tagiru used his Sonic Loader to catch it when the data acted wonky. Once it had let go Cho·Hakkaimon had reverted back to Opossummon and dropped to the floor.
"HELP!" Kaoru's voice called out from the pit that had chains in it and Flaremon had reached down causing them to scream because of the large hand coming towards them.
"Kaoru, you can relax, this is my friend!" Tagiru called as Flaremon grabbed both her and the cage that Airu had put down there.
He'd then pulled it up and setting both Kaoru and the cage onto the ground when a angry little orange and brown colored pig creature with batlike wings for ears had charged at Airu immediately, however Flaremon tapped them on the head with his flaming claw and Tagiru had captured them too.
"This is Flaremon, he's currently the strongest form Coronamon can take." Tagiru stated to Kaoru who'd looked scared of the massive bipedal lion creature.
"You can relax. They're not ghosts, they're digimon." Yuu stated to the girl and she'd just passed out from overstimulation with this new information.
We then cut to sometime later as Kaoru had been on her sleeping bag in her tent and woken up stating "That was a really weird dream. Maybe I need to stop hunting the supernatural." with a sigh.
