Rewriting: Xros Wars: Hunters' Legacy Season 03 Episode 08
Tagiru had been having breakfast with his parents as he'd had more on his plate than he'd usually eat, something his parents had taken notice of. "Tagiru if you keep eating so much you're going to get fat."
"I'll be fine mom, really." He'd stated back to his mother while his dad had been checking something on his phone.
The elder man calls "I need to get going before I'm late, you should listen to your mother son." And gets up putting his empty plate in the sink as Tagiru notices something strange happening as he was leaving.
"Tagiru, Dantemon's calling!" Coronamon called to his Human partner telling him that they've got something important happening.
"Hello, Dantemon?" Tagiru questioned holding up his Sonic Loader, this being the first time his mother had ever seen it surprisingly.
"Tagiru, the main threat is starting to make their move. Keep Coronamon with you at all times, you may not be able to reload them once things get bad." The deep voice of Dantemon stated to him warning Tagiru to keep Coronamon out of his Digivice for now.
"Right then, mom.. please don't freak out." Tagiru stated holding up his Sonic Loader stating "Reload, Coronamon!" As a light began to shine from the device and shoot out taking the form of the small bipedal lion.
"Wuha what is that thing!?" His mother Demanded pointing towards Coronamon as she'd hadn't known about the Digimon Battle that happened due to evacuation of that area when Tactimon was defeated.
"I'm a Digimon. Thank you for the food." Coronamon answered before jumping up at the table and chowing down on Tagiru's lefovers nearly swallowing the food whole.
"Is.. Is THIS thing the reason you've been having extras!?" Tagiru's mother demanded still not having an answer from her son.
"Uhm.. ya, ya he is. His name is Coronamon, he's my Digimon Partner." Tagiru answered back to his mother answering her questions.
"Tagiru, they're on the move! You two need to get to your school fast!" Dantemon called from his Digivice and the two nodded before running off together.
"TAGIRU!" His mother called after him while he'd already been running halfway down the street heading towards his school.
The two of them had gone to check out what was going on at the school and discovered that DigiQuartz was starting to overtake the place and a small blue Digimon with one large eye had appeared. The two of them had started to chase after it since that was the only lead they had to what was going on now. When they had it cornered the thing then changed form into a larger blue Digimon with tendrils for legs and two strangely shaped arms.
"Did that that ting just Digivolve?" Tagiru questioned surprised Wild Data was capable of that, or at least he assumed since the thing didn't talk. The thing grabbed Coronamon and was shot at with them turnint to see Ryouma and Astamon. "What are you doing here, you're not in my school."
"Now's not the time for that, look." Ryouma answered back gesturing for him to look ahead as that strange blue Digimon had jumped spreadying bits of data all over the place. "That thing is spreading DigiQuartz and we have to stop it."
"Time Shift!" Tagiru called using is Digivice however that was a wasted effort as there was nothing to revert them to.
"Doesn't work, I've tried that." The Silver Haired Digimon Hunter stated to them about the Time Shift being out of whack. "Up until now DigiQuartz existed separate from us, but now they're fusing the two together. The humans who aren't paired with Digimon seem to disappear."
"We've gotta stop them!" Tagiru called out about wanting to get rid of that thing causing all this trouble "Sonic Charge, Overclock!" and blasted Coronamon with his Digivice.
"Coronamon Warp Digivolve To.." The little bipedal Lion called jumping into the air and being surrounded by a sphere of orange and yellow that had caught fire while he was growing larger inside forcing it to crack because of how large he'd become and it shattered apart calling "Apollomon!"
The strange blue digimon turned to face them just in time for a flaming shard of energy to slam into them knoing the creature onto the ground burning them as it vanished. When the creature got back up it had cahnged form again this time into a metal purple thing with a red horn and tendrils sorta like a cocoon but with legs.
"Oh great it changed again!" Ryouma called frustrated by this thing refusing to just stay down and let them take it out.
They thing attacked as a distraction and then vanished into the ground of DigiQuartz to escape them. "Damn, looks like it escaped." Apollomon spoke punching his hand angry about them getting away.
"For now we should focus on meeting up with the others, we've got a meeting place agreed upon should anything happen. Let's go." Ryouma called and the others nodded following him to where this meeting place would be.
They'd had to travel a distance away and eventually got to the meeting place with their partners having already returned to their base forms in order to concerve energy for whatever is going on. Once they'd gotten there they found Ren and Airu there alongside Yuu, Taiki, Zenjirou, and Akari as well, alongside Kiriha and even Nene too.
"Good it looks like everyone is now here. Seems no one with a Digivice have been taken." Taiki stated once everyone was there.
"Right I'm gonna kick this thing's butt and get my parents back!" Tagiru spoke fired up for taking down whatever caused all these problems.
"I like that spirit of yours Tagiru." Zenjirou stated as he was next to Kotemon, actually, everyone had their Digimon Partners outside of their Digivices.
"Dantemon warned us all to keep our Digimon outside of the Digivices to be safe, looks like that was a good call. I haven't been able to reload any extra Digimon." Airu stated about not being able to get any other Digimon to help out.
"Let's just catch whatever Digimon is causing this and get it over with." Ren stated back to them about wanting this to be over.
"I think whatever is going on it has to do with that same enemey that appeared after the deletion of Metallife Kuwagamon's Wild Data." Ryouma stated about what may be the cause of all of this. "The Digimon spreading all of this was able to Digivolve on it's own. Meaning there may be a traitor among us."
"You'd be wrong about that." A voice spoke up suprising everyone as they'd suddenly seen a dirty blond haired man appear in front of them with a digimon up on his shoulder that looked like the orange and brown one from the abandoned power plant.
"What the heck, how did you get in here!?" Yuu questioned surprised to see this blond guy appear from seemingly nowhere.
"How do you know there isn't one here? For all we know you could be working for them!" Airu questioned pointing at the man accusitorily.
The blond man then sighed to himself stating "Pourquoi dois-je gérer ça ?" in a defeated sort of tone. "I'm not with the enemy. I know none of you are because we've been keeping an eye on all of you. Me and a bunch of other elders with Digimon."
"Then why haven't you been helping, what about in the battle against Bagramon's army!?" Zenjirou questioned demanding answers now.
"In Heaven, angels reign supreme." The man then stated as Akari had suddenly got a look of realization remembering what happened back then.
"Wait, that was you!?" Akari questioned standing up in surprise looking over at the man who simply shrugged in response. "Remember me saying I heard a voice when Pidmon first became Arkhai Angemon? Well this is who the voice belonged to."
"We have our ways of skirting around the system, however because of DigiQuartz we've got a temporary way back. Truth is the older Digidestined have already run our race. It's your turn to take the reigns, we're only gonna help but it will be up to you all to take down the big bad." The blond man stated to the group of teens with their Sonic Loaders. "All I can do at the moment is point you all in the right direction."
The group had gone to where they were told they should check out and discovered the purple and red digimon appearing from the water with its tendrils retracted into it's body as it had continued to spread DigiQuartz around. The Digimon had gone up the towar behind it and changed into a whie crysalis form extending out multiple round metal feet attached to spindly legs while looking down at the Digimon and their Human Companions.
"I do not like the look of that." Taiki spoke up seeing the Digimon preparing to attack them as it had then jumped towards them ready to fight.
