Hi, my name is Chidori Hagihara-The Ultimate Solider wearing the most default Japanese school clothes ever with short brown hair, and so far, the killing game has been started and we have been given our handbooks by Monokuma-black and white bear, and Monohito-some guys with a long black and white cape with a grey shirt and bear ears. And obviously, I am not the only one in this killing game.

We have Kenzou Hagihara-The Ultimate Librarian and my brother, wearing a dark green shirt and beige pants. Brown hair longer that go to the back of his knees, he has been growing it for as long as I can remember. Then Ikuro Tsujida-The Ultimate Lucky Student, who also wears the most default Japanese school clothes, like me, and short black hair. After that we have Mai Hinata-Ultimate Scientist, wearing bright pink goggles over her eyes and a white lab coat with very light pink shirt and dark grey pants, long curly pink hair. And then her sister Kai Hinata-Ultimate Lab Test Subject, with a white shirt and dark blue jeans, short black hair and bags under her eyes (she probably needs sleep). Then there is Kenji Tadashi-Ultimate Defense Attorney, with white shirt and pants, medium length blond hair, and a light red tie. And after Kenji is his brother Yoshi Tadashi-Ultimate Prosecution with black coat and pants, medium length light brown hair, and a dark blue shirt. After that is Charlie Smith-Ultimate Poet, with a dark purple sweat shirt and white shirt with grey sweatpants, short light-brown hair, and cannot speak Japanese well if at all. After Charlie we have Eiko Kumagai-The Ultimate Translator wearing a long purple skirt with a white shirt and light purple sweat shirt, and long brown hair. After Eiko is Fuyuko Yukimura-Ultimate Farmer, who wears a puffy light-brown coat with dark brown pants and a bright green clover in her short white hair. After her is her cat Whiskers-The Ultimate Support Animal, a tuxedo cat with many white patches on his chest and one over his eye and a metal collar around his neck. And finally Masuda Tanaka-The Ultimate... I don't think he said his ultimate... if he has one... well he wears blue jeans and a green hoodie and short and spiky bright pink hair.

I turn on this thing-a 'monopad' I got from Monohito. My eyes are blasted with blue light that is so bright it should be a warning hazard, soon the light dimmed down and I was met with a screen with a few apps shown, "Rules", "Shop", "Map", "Student ID's".

I open rules to see what is there...

Rule #1: Students may reside only within the school. Leaving campus is an unacceptable use of time.

Rule #2: "Nighttime" is from 10 pm to 6 am. Some areas are off-limits at night, so please tread with caution.

Rule #3: Sleeping anywhere other than the dormitory will be seen as sleeping in class and punished accordingly.

Rule #4: With minimal restrictions, you are free to explore Hope's Peak Academy at your discretion.

Rule #5: Violence against headmaster Monokuma is strictly prohibited, as is destruction of surveillance cameras.

Rule #6: Anyone who kills a fellow student and becomes "blackened" will graduate, unless they are discovered.

Rule #7: You can only kill one person, and there can be a maximum of two bodies per chapter.

Rule #8: Additional school regulations may be added if necessary.

"Two bodies per chapter." The word chapter made me shiver a little. What are these chapters even? I wonder as I open the map... I head to the kitchen, since it's literally inside the cafeteria. There is no one here, so I can look freely it seems...

I look at the knifes... they are extremely dull, I can barely cut an apple with this. "Yes, I agree, they do seem rather dull." I jumped as I turned to see Eiko, peeking over my shoulder as well as Fuyuko and Whiskers, "Damn... we would barely be able to make anything in here... the oven isn't even plugged in!" I inspected the cabinets, only finding piles and piles of spices... and more spices... and more spices... is there literally anything that isn't spices in this fucking cabinet?

"I don't think that Monokuma or Monohito have good taste in foods..." Whiskers said, I am still shocked a cat is speaking but I'm quickly getting used to it... "What's with the botched attempt at ingredients?" Fuyuko asked nobody in particular, Eiko responded "Probably to get us to kill quicker."

... What?

"In this place, they seem to keep trying to get us to kill one another... this could be an attempt at motivation by our two robotic captors." Eiko said, turning to me, Fuyuko and Whiskers. "... I really hope there is a cook here that can work with these ingredients..." I say as I head out and back into the cafeteria.

I head to the nurses office where I meet Yoshi and Ikuro, looking at everything. "So many medicines in this cabinet, it's like they have something to cure every sickness on earth!" Ikuro said, "Yeah but for every medicine, there is a poison counter part in this cabinet." Yoshi looks at all of the poisons, "This one doesn't kill until three days after it's used." Ikuro stares at it, "Interesting..."

I leave the two to look at medicine and head to a room across the hallway...

It's locked, and has the words MALE DORM ROOMS scribbled across it in bold letters, like CAFETERIA was on the cafeteria doors. As well as a scanner, most likely so a female student can't get in...

So the rooms are divided by gender... interesting...

I walk down the hallway halfway to be met by barred off stairs... probably not important...

I continue to walk to eventually be met with FEMALE DORM ROOMS, probably where me and the other female students will be.

I press my Monopad against the card scanner and it opens, I walk in only to be met with another hallway with five doors, each one with one of the female students names on it, mine was the third room.

I open it and look inside... There is a bed, a small table, a dresser, a closet, a bathroom, and a desk with pencils and a notebook.

I flop down on the bed and yawn...

Maybe it would be a good idea to... take... a... nap...
