The Great Twilight and Rean's been capture by Osborne and the Gnomes. Class VII, old and new, join by everyone throughout the world begin their plan to stop Osborne, and the Great Twilight. With war on the horizon that leads to the end of the world, they seek answers, and plan to rescue Rean in the progress. Will they save the world before the war or darkness consume all?

39. Eventide

(Trails of Cold Steel IV ost - Trump Card for the Worst Situation)

"INCONCEIBLE!" Viridi yelled as everyone gathered on the bridge when George called them. "To think that vile wicked group and that rat bastard Osborne would summon that abomination freaken Island!"

"Mistress Viridi, while we all agree with you but please calm down." Arlon said

"How can I freaken calm down when that abomination is in sight! Not even my Reset Bombs is capable of destroying that thing!"

"To make matters worse... That flying fortress isn't the only one. They brought out eight Agarthan Version of Divine Beast." Zelda grimaced.

"Ugh... To think they would go that far!" Impa grumbled.

"Everyone, I know the situation is much worse than it was before but please calm down!" Palutena said. "Panic won't help us. What we need to do now is to figure out how to stop that flying fortress." She turn to the screen with George on the call with all of their allies. "George, can you tell us about the fortress and those spires that appear all over the world and in Rigbarth?"

"Of course. This massive floating fortress you see, appeared from over the Osgiliath Basin. The Tuatha De Denann, or Empyreal Fortress, an ancient superweapon for the Gnomes that first existed from 1,200 years ago." George said. "An airborne structure from before the Great Collapse which was hidden away in space-time distortion that was caused by the Great One's birth."

"Damn, so that is what that was..." Randy muttered.

"So this is what Alberich had plan..." Xehanort rub his chin. "Before you ask, no this is news to me as well."

"But how did the Gnomes brought it out of the distortion and make it function again?" Tails asked

"Since the past millennium, the Gnomes have been carrying out large-scale renovations on the fortress. It was being converted to connect with the Pale Salt and the interface with the curse through them, turning it into an ideal stage for the Rivalry of the Seven. It's there where they intend to hold the final Rivalry once the Great Twilight reaches the climax." George explained.

"And it's all for the sake of reforming the Great One." Rean said.

"Damn, they really went far with this one." Crow added.

"I remember the Empyreal Fortress. I thought it was lost forever back in Erebonia... to think they were able to bring it back..." Aether grumbled.

"But what about those fake salt pales that appeared all over the world?" Peach asked.

"Through careful analysisation... We all know that those fakes don't convert their surroundings to salt. But rather, spiritually linked to the floating fortress." Gaius added

"They're a multi-layered barrier that is also observed surrounding the fortress. And after another careful analysisation, it made the fortress completely impenetrable." Musse added

"Right. In truth, the fake salt pales were originally five. However, thanks to the help of Fawful, Thales, Epimenides, the Agarthans, and Organization XIII, they were able to expand it through the data Fawful and Epimenides have given to Alberich. With it, to found a solution to even go beyond Erebonia's boulders. Which is why that appeared in the Mushroom Kingdom and so forth." George explain "There are now a total of twenty-nine of them, aside from making it impenetrable, it also empowered the fortresses' power on a far larger scale than it previously was. Fawful, Thales, Epimenides, Cornelia, and Organization really outdone themselves with this. The chief... Alberich...was upset that they weren't around anymore."

"So it isn't just the technology from the world they stole... but to survey the world's Septium Veins..." Xehanort rub his beard. "Cleverly done, Alberich."

"My goodness, how dreaded that sounds." Roselia grimaced.

"How dare they taint my Kingdom with those things!" Bowser snarled.

"Not just yours, but every one of our homes in this world." Dimitri grumbled.

"Damn those bastards..." Ragna muttered

"Hold on through." Jin said. "Is it truly impenetrable through? Trinity Glassfile was able to break the barrier back in the Gral, can't she help do the same?"

"Even with her help, it will be impossible even for her." Kokonoe said. "She carefully analyzes them personally with Mom. While they're connected to the Septium Veins, with that many numbers supporting each other, it will be difficult for her to dispel them then the barrier back in the Gral."

"Tch. Our enemies think this very well."

"Zhongli, shouldn't you be able to break them? Considering you're..." Palutena asked.

"Without questions, yes." Zhongli said, causing the others to look surprised. "My powers, and this applies to my family are capable of breaking the impossible. However, regardless of my status, we don't want to be too direct."

"What do you mean by that?" Olivert asked.

"In other words, the world will break." Vidiri clarified.

"Damn, so much for that." Chrom muttered.

"But that isn't the only reason." Nahida said. "Our father is also in this world."

"Your father?" Rean asked. "You mean the same father who gave birth to you and Levi?"

"The same Liam Randolph who appeared during the Keyblade Graveyard, our times back with Grima... and back in the Gral?!" Kurt exclaimed.

"The very same. We don't know why father is with them through." Nahida said.

"Most likely to judge us... and to you Levi. I imagine he's within the fortress with Osborne and the others." Zhongli said.

"Oh..." Levi groaned. "This is just too much. L-Let's change the topic before my head hurts."

"Yeah. We can talk about that another time. Right now, we need to find a way to get into that fortress." Rean said.

"But how can we get into something impossible to break?" Alisa asked.

Olivert hummed. "I may have an idea that it might work."

"You got something, Prince Olivert?" Robin asked.

"We all know that the salt pales are what providing power to the fortress... but if we were somehow able to put them out of commotion..."

"We may be able to access the fortress." Hubert finished. "That could work. A reckless plan... but it might work."

"But how can we even get into the salt pales" Ferdinand asked. "Isn't there a barrier in those things?"

"The good news is that there isn't. We might be able to pull it off." Litchi said.

"In that case, we now know what to do." Tager said

"Right. We shall dub this as Operation Shining Steel!" Olivert declared. "Now that we have an idea what to do, we can contact the other and filled them in with the plan. Thank you, George. You been a great help."

"I'm glad I can help." George said as he sign off.

"Now, let us make our way to the Conference room and contact our allies." Olivert said as everyone made their way to the conference room and then Olivert begin to call them.

"Olivier, you found something out?" Estelle asked.

"Thanks to an unexpected help. We now know what to do. We're calling this Operation Shining Steel." Olivert said as Litch bring in the pictures. "There are twenty-nine salt pales throughout the world. Even to worlds outside of Zemuria. Rigbarth and Breath of the Wild Hyrule. We need teams of each to infiltrate them and put these salt pales out of commotion."

"We may not have much margin for errors, but I think this couldn't actually work." Towa replied.

"So in other words, we need several teams to raid all the Salt Pales at once and put them out of commission." Kamek said

"Right. One those Salt Pales are out of commission, the Courageous II will change toward the fortress while its barrier is down." Olivert nodded

"However, knowing our enemies, they may already prepare some countermeasures." Hubert remark.

"Right. I'll prepare some of my army to help deal with them." Palutena said

"Same with the forces of Nature." Viridi said. "Knowing Hades, he would sent underworld troops to stop us with Eggman Robots."

"Right. Let's not forget any Flying Grimm and Heartless." Amy added

"Right. But our top priority, however, is making sure the Divine Knights and Class VII get to the targets." Mueller replied

"That's right. So even If something goes awry and the Courageous II is unable to land, we can continue with the plan. As long as Rean and the others can successfully board the fortress in time, we still have a chance." Olivert nodded

"Our foes will try to end the Rivalry of the Seven as the Great Twilight reaches its climax. If we manage to seize control of the Rivalries before then, however, we may be able to prevent them from achieving their goals." Roselia added

"At this point, they think they've already won. It's likely they'll welcome Instructor Rean, since they need him to finish the Rivalries. And that will be our chance." Musse stated

"Heh, just another say for those cocky assholes thinking they wrongs. But it always excites me to show them how wrong they are." Ragna said

"Poyo!" Kirby nodded

"You said it picky! They mess with not just the Mushroom Kingdom but they mess with the entire world!" Bowser fist pump. "And we all know messing with the entire world is the biggest mistake. Even I know that."

"As much as I don't want to ruin the enthusiasm, I should report to you that devils has been sighted all over the Empire lately. I get the feeling we may find even worse things protecting each of the Pales." Thomas said.

"Yes... It's something we'll need to be prepared for." Gaius nodded

"Well, if we know what we gotta do, then all that's left is to go do it!" Estelle said as she appeared on the screen with the Liberl Team and the SSS.

"That's right. It's our turn now." Lloyd nodded as the SSS, Rixia, Wazy, Agate, Eula, Aoi came online in the monitor.

"You can leave one of the Salt Pales to the Liberl team. We just gotta decide on which of us is going." Estelle said

"The same for us in the SSS, Rixia, Wazy and Aoi." Lloyd nodded "As members of the Radiant Wings, let us help clear a path for you and the others."

"Estelle, Lloyd, everyone..." Rean smiled

"Aww, you guys…" Tita smiled

"Guess we shoulda seen this coming, huh?" Randy smirked

"You can count on us too." Duvalie's voice said as she and the two members of the Stalritter appeared on the monitor.

"Oh, Duvalie. And the other members of the Stalritter." Dimitri said. "You're planning on taking on one of the Salt Pales?"

"Yes. The time has come for the Stahrittler to unite once more. To see our lord's will done." Ines nodded

"Our lord saw fit to grant you her power. It's our duty to carry her torch to light your way." Ennea added

"All of you..." Laura smiled

"Don't forget to save some seats for us, eh?" Xeno said as he and Leo join the chat. "We'll be teamin' up with those Stahritter gals, if that's okay."

"The boss would have wanted as much from us." Leonidas nodded

"Xeno… Leo…"Fie smiled

"Sheesh… this is one hell of a lineup." Sara chuckled.

"In that case, you can add Sharon and me to the list of volunteers." Angelica nodded

"As maid for the Reinford family, I would be honored if you would allow me to fulfill this particular role." Sharon nodded

"Wh-Angie!" Towa eye widen

"I have also suffered at the hands of our foes. After careful discussion, we have decided it would only be appropriate to return the favor."

"From what I hear, Lieutenant Colonel Mueller will be returning to the Courageous II tomorrow." Angelica pointed out. "I figured I'd leave the steering up to the expert, so I can get back to kicking some ass."

"Sharon… Angelica…" Alisa smiled.

"Th-Then you can count me in, too!" Towa cheered

"Can't let you do that, Towa. We need you here. You've got both the Courageous II and the entire operation to look after." Angelica stated

"Angelica's right. I'd very much prefer you to remain at your post." Olivert nodded

"I'll be on the bridge as well, but even then I suspect we'll have our hands full manning the air defenses." Michael added

"I…" Towa sighed. "Understood."

"There's no need for concern, Towa." Elise smiled

"We're all in this together. Every one of us has their own part to play." Princess Alfin nodded

"Thank you. Both of you. But still, we can't send them out by themselves." Towa trailed off

"Towa's right. We have to send more than two volunteers." Levi nodded.

"Then I guess you'll just have to let me join them." George said as he join the chat.

"Oh, George!" Futaba said

"Huh. So that's why you two were acting weird." Crow said, referring to Angelica and Sharon.

"Yeah. I'm sure you must think I have no right to come back like this… And I can possibly make up for everything I've done, but I'm going to help anyway. Because... I'd rather not get the same failing marks Franz did."

"Okay, that makes three. Not as many as I'd like, but—"

"Then allow us to lend you a hand." Roselia interrupted Angelica as she and Lianne join the chat.

"Grandmother…" Emma look surprised.

"Even the Steel Maiden?" Laura asked

"Lianne and I discussed this. While I fulfilled my duty as a witch. Now that I have played my part, I may as well bloom once final time for you young folk." Roselia grin.

"I figured that my strength may require me to stop the Salt Pales as I leave the others to Duvalie and her team." Lianne answered

"Were we to add my strength along with Lianne, to that of the Rogner girl, a formal Gnome, and the Reinford maid… would that be sufficient?"

Angelica chuckled. "That'd be more than enough. But if It's possible, I'd prefer to have the curvier version of you come with us."

Almost everyone's face falls over that comment.

"Angie… I don't think now's really the time…" George sighed.

"Heehee. It would be our pleasure to have you accompany us, Lady Roselia, Lord Arianrhod." Sharon smiled.

"For cryin' our loud…" Crow sighed.

"We now have four groups… our forces have expanded considerably." Altina stated

"But what about the other twenty-five pales?" Machias asked

"You can leave one of them to me." Aurelia said as she join in.

"P-Principal Le Quin?!" Juna gasped

"Aren't you supposed to be focusing on all that Mille Mirage stuff?" Ash asked

"Certainly. But the plan has always been to leave the first day of the operation in Wallace's hand. I'll be taking over tomorrow… once the war begins in earnest." Aurelia answered

Musse nodded "Lieutenant General Bright anticipates that both sides will spend the first day scouting, with perhaps a few lights skirmishes at best. Presumably, General Vandyck will mobilize the Imperial Army with a similar mindset."

"All bets are off once that second day hits, however." Wallace sighed. "Odds are, all eight battlefronts will erupt into all-out carnage at about the same time."

"The Imperial Army will likely be forced to halt in both Liberl and Remiferia. You can expect they'll deploy their strongest divisions—the 3rd and 4th including at that time." Mueller replied

"Yeah, I thought that might be the case…" Elliot trailed off.

"And the reason you're helping us out is so things don't get to that point, right?" Estelle asked

"Perhaps… it should serve a suitable warm-up for the decisive battle to come, at least." Aurelia answered "Though, of course, I won't be going it alone."

Then Vita, Victor, Kagura, Hibiki and Toval appeared on the screen.

"Kagura, Hibiki, you guys two?" Makoto Nanaya blinked.

"Heehee. It's as the general says. We, too, will be assisting you. For the first day, anyway." Vita grin.

"That's right. As the general said, this will be a good warm up." Kagura smirked

"We'll provide the necessary assistance." Hibiki said

"This will be my final duty as head of the Arseid school. I shall prove us worthy in succeeding the Sandlot name." Victor said.

"Dunno if I measure up to these five, but… this is as good a chance as any to make up for all the time I lost." Toval replied.

"Father... Toval..." Laura smiled

"Heehee… I had a feeling Vita would show up to help." Emma giggled.

"Can't pass up a chance to hog the spotlight, huh, Vita?" Celine sighed.

"Heh. Show 'em what you can do, Zero Artisan." Agate smirked.

"In that case, you can leave one of the Salt Pales to us Black Eagles in Fodlan." Ferdinand smirked.

"Right. Don't worry, Eddie. You Hubie can stay with Class VII while we'll take care of that nasty thing." Dorothea smiled

"Wha-?" Edelgard eye widen.

"We had a feeling you wanted to accompany Class VII. And Since Hubert will be accompanying you, you can leave the one in formal Adrestia to us." Avery smiled.

"Right. You can count on us, Edelgard." Caspar smirked.

"Everyone... Are you certain?" Edelgard asked with concern.

"Yes. Please be at ease Edelgard. You know what we are capable of." Petra smiled

"As much as I hate to admit it, we have to do our part." Linhardt said

"Y-Yeah. The thought of that thing in our home frightens me. I wanna get rid of it as soon as possible." Bernadetta nodded.

"You can leave this to us, Lady Edelgard." Monica smiled.

"Everyone..." Edelgard smiled. "Very well. I'll leave the salt pale to you."

"Good, then you can count me and the Blue Lions to handle the one in formal Faerghus Territory. Dimitri, you can help Class VII too." Brianna smiled

"My beloved..." Dimitri eye widen.

"She's right, Dimitri. Those monsters stain our land with those pales. We will help forge a path for you and Class VII to punish our foes." Dedue nodded

"What's more, you all know you want your shot against Cornelia, this will be the best time." Felix added

"That's right. Leave this to us, Dimitri." Ashe nodded.

"And forge a path for Class VII. While you can also help them in our place." Lysithea nodded

"That all well and good but, you know you should be telling that to Teach, here, right?" Claude asked

"Oh, he knows that already. We're telling you because as Lysithea said, you will join Class VII in helping them with the Rivalries." Hilda nodded

"That's right boy. They won't be alone either." Judith said as she and Holst join the chat.

"That's right. We'll show those dastards that Fodlan isn't a nation they should mess with. Espcually since we needed time to rebuild our new Kingdom." Holst said.

"Haha. You know I love you guys." Claude chuckled.

"With that said. You can leave the last one in Fodlan to us." Sothis said as she, Rhea, Seteth, Flayn, Catherine, Alois, Shamir, and Cyril appear on the monitor.

"Sothis and the others you too?" Byleth asked

"That's right. I needed to throw some of my rage out of those vile creatures of Osborne and his group. So helping you create a path for Class VII will be sufficient."

"Indeed. As everyone shares their opinion and their anger on our enemies, we too shall play our part." Rhea nodded

"Yes. The last thing we want is panic from the people with the sight of Grimm." Seteth sighed. "The only way to rid of that thing is to help you reach that demonic fortress."

"Right. You can count on us and the Knights of Seiros to forge this path." Flayn nodded

"You got that right. They're pretty gutsy too to drag the whole world into their vile plans." Catherines agreed.

"Not to mention we have no interest in seeing the world coming to an end." Shamir said.

"Right. So you can count on us everyone." Cyril nodded

"In that case, you can count me and Hanneman to join the Knights and our goddess with the pale." Manuela said

"Yes. As such, we will join you and help forge this path. We are the Radiant Wings after all." Hanneman agreed.

"Haha. Glad to hear that." Sara chuckled. "So we got nine teams. Only twenty to go."

"You can leave one of the pales in the Mushroom Kingdom to the Ashen Wolves." Yuri said.

"Yuri..." Byleth trailed off.

"Don't worry babe. You both know how strong we are."

"That's right. And this is also the perfect opportunity to show some new spells I have been working on!" Constance smirked

"That aside, and hoping we don't get caught in the wildfire... we will help out." Alsin said.

"And me with some monsters I can summon with a sigh." Hapi added

"Papa! I'm a Fighter in Smash Bros! I can take it! Besides, I'm the heir to the Koopa throne. How can I prove myself worthy if I don't do something about it?"

"Right. And you will join Class VII and the others too with Kamek." Arval nodded.

"We'll show them to never mess with the Koopa Nation!" Wendy Koopa agreed.

"Yeah! They got another thing coming!" Roy Koopa added.

"MORTON WILL CRUSH TOWER!" Mortal agreed.

"Bwahaha! It will be one crazy journey! Which is something I love!" Iggy laughed.

"And a good show we'll put on." Iggy agreed.

"We got this boss!" Larry agreed.

"Your Kingdom is our home. And as your troops, we will protect it." Roman nodded as Neo nodded.

"And I'll also join them to help rid of it." Kazuha said.

Bowser let out a small chuckled. "Couldn't ask for better troops."

"Then you can leave the one in Ylisse to us." Chrom said.

"Yeah! Messing with Ylisse is one big mistake for our enemies!" Lissa agreed.

"Right. You leave this to us." Morgan nodded

"Me, Chrom, Lucina, Lissa and Morgan will clear the way." Robin smiled

"You won't be going alone. Me, Caeda, Tiki will join you." Marth said.

"That's right." Caeda smiled. "We won't let our descendants home be harm by our enemies." Caeda smiled

"We're glad we can count on you." Lucina smiled

"In that case, Me and Pit will join you." Palutena said.

"Well I need some anger to lash out on so be grateful that I'll be joining you." Viridi said.

"And where Mistress Virido goes, so will us, her commanders!" Phosphora declared

"As Phosphora said, we will join her and the others to forge this path." Arlon nodded.

"You can leave the pale in the borders to the Mushroom Kingdom and Haleylnn to me and the others." Corrin said.

"That's right. You can count on us." Kamui said.

"Yes. We will raise our blade for this cause to forge your path." Ryoma nodded

"Nohr, Hoshida and Valla are in this together. And so will our friends and siblings." Xander said

"More then just a challenge, but to protect Hyrule... no... the world from evil." Dark smiled

"Then you will be sure to include me." A voice said as King Rhoam said

"Father!" Zelda gasped

"As Hyrule's King, it is my duty to protect my people. I will help forge the path for our allies to reach the "core" of this crisis."

"Glad you have you join us." Link said as Terrako beeped as Fi came out.

"I shall be lending my assistance as well." Fi said

"Then leave the one in Magnolia to us!" Natsu said.

"No Natsu. You and your team will join Class VII." Makarov said.

"Master Makarov?" Erza blinked.

"The old geezer is right. As much as I hate to admit it, we will take care of that blasted spire." Gajeel said

"Yes. A shame I couldn't be with my beloved Gray... but I must help protect the people of Magnolia... no... for Fiore from this crisis!" Juvia declared.

"That's right. We of the guild will handle that Salt Pale." Cana nodded

"Right. So we'll be counting on you to helping the others on your way to the fortress." Miragane nodded

"That's right! Show them Fairy Tail's pride like a real man!" Elfman smirked.

"Oh Rean… Absentminded as ever." Levi said with a nervous smile.

"'Grats, Lloyd. You're not the most clueless guy in the room for once." Randy smirked

"I'm nowhere near as bad as him. At least I have SOME self-awareness." Lloyd scratched is hair

Wazy laughed. "Said the pot calling the kettle black."

"Wazy!"

"Well unlike him since you're taken... Rean does have quite a few more options." Joshua replied

"Heh. Bet that's easy for you to say, lover-boy." Crow said.

"Yeah, I'm not sure if I should be in this chat since I don't particularly know everyone very well. I'm just a stranger." Aoi scratch his cheek.

"Ah, no worry about that my friend. With time permit, I'm sure you'll have your special someone soon enough." Wazy said with a wink.

"R-Right..." Aoi light blushed, slightly looking away.

Machias coughed. "In any case, it's just as you said- this may very well be our final night."

"You, especially, will have more than a few things to make clear tonight." Gaius nodded

"Yeah. I bet you've had a ton of girls confess their love to you as it is already." Elliot added

"Either way, you won't wanna wake up tomorrow with any regrets." Crow replied

"Anyway, let's go enjoy whatever evening we got left." Randy advised. "Should be plenty for us to do, between the beach and the park."

"They're also keeping the stores here in the center open for us, too." Lloyd added "There's still a load of fun to be had with or without that special gal. Or a guy like a few people we know."

"Oh, before I forget: My father had something he wanted to tell you, Rean. You should go and see him when you get the chance." Joshua reminded

"Yeah... Sure thing." Rean nodded "Anyway. You guys have a good time out there."

"We will." Gaius nodded

Rean was wondering around until he see Sara having a drink with Sharon, Manuela and Cana.

"Insturctor Sara, Sharon, Cana and Manuela? What brings you guys here?" Rean asked

"Hey there, Rean. Me, and ol' Sharon here have a score to settle while Mauela and Cana are my audience. Now seems as good a time as any for a drinking contest."

"Well, now I'm sure there are many people who can outdrink the likes of me." Sharon smiled

"Ha! Like me for example." Cana smug.

"I'm surprised that someone out there is capable of drinking an entire barrel case of booze." Manuela muttered. "No wait, an entire set of barrels from what I hear from Erza."

"Okay, I still say that highly unbelievable. There's no way in hell someone could drink an entire set of barriers."

"Sara, we known each other for two years and you still don't believe me?" Cana raised an eyebrow and she drinks.

"It's not that I don't believe you. You just didn't prove it. Besides, I'm more interested in taking Sharon down. I won't rest until we know for sure. Now I think about it, I wonder how I'd measure up to the rest of the gals, too."

"Oh, you're thinking of making a drinking contest?" Manuela mused

"Oh, now you got me pretty curious myself. I can take a guess at how most of our friends would dare... But there's plenty of competition here this evening." Rean said.

"True. Adding a few more drinkers would be a fun little competition. I'd love to have a drink with Scherazard again, for one. And I really want to know how much the Golden Rakshasa really can drink."Sara smirked

"Now you're got me pretty invested in how this would play out. I could go and ask them for you if you'd like."

"You sure?" Sara asked. "Then that'd be great. There are some guys I'd like to square up to in the drinking arena, too. Like Qrow. But it'' get too messy if we broaden the field too much, especially how large our group is. If you'll be our referee, then a 'Ladis' drinking Contest' sounds like a good time for me. We have some people here , but I think we need only two, three or four more for a good show."

Sharon giggled. "You're really getting into this, aren't you?"

"Who wouldn't?" I mean this is pretty much our wheelhouse." Cana chuckled.

"Okay! I'll help you. I'll talk to some of the ladies who seem like they've got a real taste for hard liquor." Rean said

"Great! Make sure you invite the Silver Streak and the Rakshasa! I'll let you'd evide who the other competitors are." Sara replied

"Yeah, we'll prp the place and come up with some rules," Cana nodded

"Ooh! I'm already excited about this~" Manuela giggled. "Especially with all those alcohol, waiting for me to think them~"

Rean chuckled. I can't wait! I'll be off now." Reans said as he took off. "Okay let's see... I don't think anyone in old Class VII could drink as much as Sara. I'll have to find some other potential candidates." He said as he notice Lloyd, Elie, KeA and Cecile. "Oh." He approached them "Hey there guys."

"Rean!" KeA cheered

"Hello again." Elie greeted

"So, Rean. What do you think of Mishelam Resort at night?" Lloyd asked

"It's great! It reminds me of that time in Isle Delfino. Honestly, at my age, I wasn't expecting to enjoy it so much. This place really is amazing." Rean smiled

"That's what we Crossbellians like to hear."

"Oh, and Cecile, good work on the emperor's surgery. It must have been tense."

Cecile giggled. "Oh, thank you. Of course, the patient will still be in recovery for a while. But even Doctor Seiland admitted that this operation went more smoothly than any she'd done before. I do believe His Majesty will be all right."

"That's a relief. Thank you so much for everything you've done for him."

"Yeah, that's such great news!" KeA smiled

"Jigglepuff!" KeA's Jigglepuff cheered

"So, Rean, who are you here with tonight? Randy was saying you're just as popular with the ladies as Lloyd, so there's no way you're here without a date, right?"

Rean, Lloyd, Elie and Cecile sweatdrop while Jigglepuff tilt her head.

"Er..." Rean trailed off.

Lloyd sighed. "Sounds like Randy's been putting weird ideas in your head again, KeA."

Elie nervously laughed. "As he is wont to do. Although you were like that before the two of us began dating."

Cecile giggled. "She has a point."

"Not you guys, too! Did you have to bring that up?"

Rean nervous laughed before he click. "Oh, that reminds me. Mind if I ask you something?"

"What is it?" Lloyd asked.

"Well, Sara, Manuela, Cana and Sharon are planning on having a drinking contest on who can drink the most alcohol. But it's a ladies game. So I was wondering if Elie and Cecile would be interested."

"Oh, so you're on a scouting mission on who can stomach most of Alcholol?" KeA asked. "Some really funny things can happen when people get together like this."

"That's true... And this would be a good chance to catch up with some of the others." Elie nodded. "Unfortunately, I'm not the best when it comes to Alcohol, so I'm going to have to pass."

"I see. How about you Cecile?" Lloyd asked "Guy was a heavyweight and you kept up with him pretty well, so I'd rank you high up there on the drinking scale."

Cecile giggled. "Well, I'm a stronger drinker than Ilya at least, apparently. This might be exactly my kind of contest. After all, it's nice to let your hair down and just drink from time to time."

"With how hard you work all the time, I think you can allow yourself some fun for at least tonight." Elie replied.

"I'm sure you can handle yourself. You've got pretty good self-control." Lloyd replied

"So are you joining us?" Rean asked

"Yes! I'll join the contest." Cecile nodded

"Woohoo!" KeA cheered. "We'd all better go and cheer you on then!"

"I can't wait. They're holding the contest over at the tables by the drink stand, so come and join when you're ready." Rean said

"Okay then. I'll head there when ready." Cecile nodded as Rean took off.

Rean walk around a bit and see Secretary Lucy, Kaela and Josette sitting in the lobby.

"Secretary Lucy, Lieutenant Kaela, food to see you! I didn't know you were invited." Rean said as he approached them.

"Well, the prince was kind enough to reach out to us." Secretary Lucy smiled

"W don't get many chances to relax and forget about work, so we're going to make the most of tonight." Kaela replied. "By the way, Josette, I'm really glad I got to thank you in person again."

"Oh?" Rean tilt hie head. "What for?"

"I helped ship those rogue Hercules members back to Calvard. Or, rather, I organized it." Josette answered. "Don and Kyle were the ones who actually put them on the Bobcat and took them across the boarder."

"Ah, so that's how you worked things out."

Kaela nodded. "That's right. The Capua Delivery Service always comes through in a pinch. Lucy had introduced me to Josette previously, and she seemed like the perfect choice to handle this matter."

"We're lucky to have a friend like you, Josette." Secretary Lucy smiled. "By the way... I've heard some fairly interesting rumors about your love life? It is true you and Kloe are both interested in the same guy?"

"Wh-Where did you...!?" Josette blushed. "Oh, right. I forgot you and Kloe are so tight."

"A love triangle with Princess Klaudia?" Kaela grinned. "That' does sound interesting."

"Not you, too, Kaela..." Josette sighed. "Th-That's all in the past, now... and besides, I've finally made up my mind about the whole thing... If you two find romance such a fascinating subject, how about you tell me about things on your end?"

"Right. There's so much more I want to ask you." Secretary Lucy agreed.

"Aw, come on! You two didn't tell me anything." Josette complained

'I should probably... wait hold on. I nearly forgot about the contest.' Rean thought. "Sorry to bother you guys about this, but there's something I want to ask you something, Lucy."

"Oh? What is it?" Secretary Lucy asked

"Well there's going to be a contest hosted by Sara, Manuela, Cana and Sharon into an all-ladies drinking game. I'm here to ask if any of you are interested?"

"An All-ladies' drinking game, you say?" Secretary Lucy mused.

"You seem like you'd be able to hold your liquor better than any of us could." Josette said

"Now that you mention it, remember that dinner we worked the security detail for?" Kaela asked. "People were offering you drinks left, right, and center. But you seemed just fine after every single one of them."

"Oh, I don't really consider myself all that strong a drinker, but... I... do enjoy the odd tipple, here and there. You can count me in." Secretary Lucy replied

"We'll be holding the contest down at the beach, so just head on over whenever you're ready." Rean said

"Okay then. I'll head there when it starts."

"Got it. Okay, I better get going. See you at the contest." Rean said as he took off.

Rean walk to the hotel and there she see Edel chatting with Dorothee, Emily and Theresia

"Oh, hello, Rean." Edel called out to him.

"Good to see you so hard at work." Dorothee smiled

"Hi, everybody." Rean greeted. "Emily, Theresia, I'm really glad you decided to join us."

"At first, I wasn't really sure if er should. Y'know, it being a huge conflict of interest and all. But then Supreme Commander Vandyke had us reassigned to the Independent Raid Force." Emily said

"The What?"

"We're a covert ops unit charged with taking down internal threats to the Empire, at our own discretion." Theresia explained. "A vague description, admittedly, but one that allows groups like Ouroboros and jaegers corps to fall under our jurisdiction. In other words, it's a unit created to give us the authority needed to fight this battle."

"Those rules sound dangerously vague, but so long as they have you fighting by our side, I'm not about to complained." Rean replied

"And fight is what we'll do!" Emily replied. "I've gotta make up for that sorry state you last saw me in! We're gonna give it out all to make tomorrow a major success!"

"Now that we've finally found a path we can believe in, we're more than ready to help out." Theresia smiled

"Thanks. I know we could count on you." Rean smiled.

"That's right. This reconciliation is truly a thing of beauty." Dorothee said

"I hear a lot of other Thors graduates in the army are getting the same treatment. They'll be able to participate in the operation, too. It's shaping up to be quite the reunion." Edel smiled.

"I can hardly wait." Rean smiled. "Oh that reminds me. This is off topic but, are any of you interested in the all-ladies night drinking contest?"

"A drinking contest? I like the sound of that!" Emily cheered

"But you don't drink that often, Emily..." Theresia said. "You get drunk as quickly as I do. Insturctor Sara will drink you under the table for sure!"

"Haha! You might be right..." Emily turn to Dorothee and Edel. "What about Edel and Dorothee?"

"It could be fun." Edel answered. "I drink fairly well when we're out. Or at least that's what people tell me."

"In that case, I think you'd be a good match for Instructor Sara."

"I don't think you can expect much from me. I'm not good with alcohol." Dorothee sighed. "But it's kind of disappointing that the guys can't take part. Inhibitions lowered, hands reach for the glass... Feelings long buried suddenly bust forth and blossom in the jovial atmosphere!"

"You never chance, Dorothee." Emily nervous smile.

Rean let out a nervous chuckle. "So can I count on Edel for the contest?"

"Yes, I'm looking forward to it." Edel replied.

"Thanks! We're holding the contest at the beach, so please head over when you're ready."

"Sounds like a plan. I'll be sure to head over." Edel nodded as Rean took and then headed into one of the rooms where he see Aurelia, Wallace, Mary, Eula and Camilla gathered.

"So your family style is called the Lawrence style?" Aurelia asked

"That's right. The Lawrence style is more grateful compared to that of the Arseid and Vander school. But no offense, I can assure you. It's most compare to a dance in a sense. While it's Agile with the Greatsword with strength and techniques. It's may rivals the Vander and Arseid schools." Eula said.

"Haha. That would be interesting to see how the schools show their techniques." Wallace said. "Looking at you now, you appeared to be of Laura's age."

"You think so? I remember she also wields the Greatsword. She would make a worthy opponent. I would be interested in sparing her."

"I remember she surpass her father and master the Arseid school. She would make a very difficult opponent." Camilla said.

"I master my family style, so we have that in common. But as for surpassing my father... I don't think I will get that chance. And my mother isn't a swordswoman either. But that doesn't stop me." Eula replied.

"In that case, we should arrange a sparing match between you and Laura. I'm looking forward to witness the Lawrence style personally." Aurelia smirked. "What about you Princess Camilla? I heard that you were a very fierce warrior in Nord."

Camilla giggled. "I can be a little scary in the battlefield and to any opponent I've face, but I'm nowhere near as you, Golden Rakshasa." Camilla replied.

"Hehehe. Lady Camila, What type of music do they have in Nord?" Mary asked

"Oh I'll happily explained."

'Sounds like they're having a conversation with Eula's family style while Princess Camilla her battle style with an axe. I remember she was as powerful as she is beautiful.' Rean thought. 'Ah, getting off-topic. Instructor Sara did ask me to invite General Le Quin and I did heard that she happily down wine and hard spirits. But I really can't imagine her drunk.' Rean then approached. "Sorry to interrupt. Can I ask you something?"

"By all means." Aurelia said.

"I'm here looking for participants for the All-ladies drinking contest, hosted by Sara, Manuela, Cana and Sharon. I was wondering if you'll be interested General since Sara personally volunteered you come."

"Oh, Purple Lightning volunteered me, did she?" Aurelia mused.

"She got guts, I'll give her that." Wallace chuckled.

"Does that mean...?" Rean asked, looking nervous.

"She seems like a strong opponent." Mary mused.

"Hehe, Well, she is a demon on the battlefield. Then again, I can relate." Camilla giggled.

"I'm not sure I'll be able to win, but... It sounds like fun, so I'll join." Aurelia said

"That's great! Thank you!" Rean smiled

"You wouldn't mind if I join as well?" Eula asked

"Oh? I didn't know you can drink." Aurelia said

"I have when I turn the right age. Fortunately, I have built a perfect resistance to alcohol. I want to see if I can go further."

"Ooh~ Then let me join as well. It's been a while since I had a good drink. Don't worry, I'll stomach as much alcohol as I can be."

"All right then!" Rean smiled. "We're holding the contest at the beach, so please head over when you're ready."

"Very well, then we'll be sure make our way soon." Aurelia said as Rean took off.

Rean walk into the restaurant where he spotted Duvalie, Roselia, Aether, Paimon, Rachel, Lianne, and Vita sitting at one table while the other table was Urbosa with Mipha, Litchi and Bayonetta.

Rean approaches Duvalie's group first before noticing Roselia is in her adult appearance.

"Huh? Roselia?" Rean blinked. "That's a different look for you."

"Surprised? This is my true form." Roselia grinned.

"The area within this barrier is rich in mana." Vita giggled. "And tonight's a full moon, which amplifies its effects even further."

"It has been awhile since I last saw you in that form. I remember how beautiful you were back then." Lianne smiled.

"No kidding. Just looking at you like that brings back so many memories." Aether nodded.

"Hehe. It just goes to show that I'm in my element." Roselia said, flipping her hair.

Haha. Clearly. And you invited Duvalie to come drinking with you?" Rean asked.

"I don't usually indulge in alcohol, but this is a special case. I wanted to celebrate this very moment with my lord while I had the chance. But also drink a toast to my lord's memory, should that time come."

"Right. Though I'm living on borrowed time, I wish to indulge myself with all the memories I have left before leaving this world soon." Lianne replied.

"And you could really put 'em away." Roselia said.

"In that case, it would be disrespectful not to follow suit." Vita replied

"Right. It's something I already prepared as much as I hate to admit. But life goes on in the circle of life." Aether sighed.

"Yes, please do. The herb liqueur is my favorite. The finest drink that came out of my old home, Legram." Lianne nodded

"Your favorite, huh?" Rean mused. "I'd be honored to try some."

"I prefer tea instead of alcohol. But please do not mind me." Rachel said.

"While you guys have some fine liqueur, I'll help myself to allll the food I will eat! Bottoms up!" Paimon cheered as Rean took a seat as Duvalie poured the herb liqueur and gave it to Rean.

Rean, Duvalie, Vita, Roselia, Aether and Lianne, tap their glasses and drink up.

"Wow, the fragrance is really distinctive. It kind of tickles the back of your sinuses." Rean smiled.

"Indeed. The drink doesn't go to your head or make you nauseous, either. You can thank the medical effects of the herbs for that." Lianne smiled. "Ah... Drinking that brings back so many memories."

"I like something heavier for a night out, but this is a great little palate cleanser." Vita giggled.

"This scent take me back to 250 years ago with Aether and Lianne, for better or worse." Roselia smiled. "Drechiels' preference was always for hard liquor, of course."

"Oh yeah. You wouldn't even believe the mess he made." Aether sighed. "Roman and I have to help him up, and let's not forget that time he puke on my shoes..."

"Hahaha. He apologize several times that day and even plans to get you some no boots." Lianne giggled.

"Haha... I'd believe it." Rean said. "Oh, that reminds me, there's something I been meaning to ask you ladies."

"Oh?" Vita asked.

"Instructor Sara, Manuela, Cana and Sharon will be hosting an all-ladies contest to see who can stomach the most alcohol. I wasn't sure if you're okay with it, but I thought I should ask."

"A drinking game, you say? That sounds like it could be fun~." Vita giggled.

"And only for the women, huh?" Aether asked

"Wh-What a strange thing to come and ask us!" Duvalie fold her arm.

"Interesting." Lianne mused.

"Well it sounds like fun. It is the duty of us more mature ladies to accompany the young. It'd be my pleasure to grace you with my presence." Roselia replied as she turn to Vita and Lianne. "Will you both come as well."

"Unfortunately, as much as it is intriguing, I'm afraid I must decline." Lianne answered. "It is not because of the contest, I can assure you, but mostly because someone ned to watch over Rose."

"Agreed. Someone needs to look after the elderly once they've had their fun." Vita agreed. "Just like Lianne, I'll have to pass this time."

"Hey! I can hold my own against a bunch of youngsters." Roselia argued.

"Rose, when was the last time you ever had a drink?" Lianne fold her arm.

"What does that matter?"

"It matters a lot." Aether sweatdrop.

"Haha... So I can count Roselia as a participant?" Rean asked.

"Well, what about you Duvalie? Do you want to participate?" Lianne asked

"W-Well... yes, I would participate in this contest." Duvalie anaswered

"Absolutely! My lord would say that it is important to take the time and smell the roses! And I'm not one to run from any challenges!"

"Oh that reminds me something. Aether, what was that you used during Lianne's Rivalry?" Rean asked

"Oh that's right. That my Divine Order." Aether answered

"Divine Order? It sounds like those Dis Orders the Ironblood uses. We weren't unable to use our for the time being. But yours seem more everlasting."

"Well Divine Orders is more "light" version than the Ironbloods "Dark" power. But it's superior and can overwrite their Disorders. I been creating that ever since that time Levi and the others fought against Lechtor in the wetlands. It's work just like Brave Orders so. But mine give out extension with Critical Boosts and boost our movement for speed."

"Ah. So that explains why you and Lianne were so strong. Aside from your skills in battle of course." Rean said

"Haha. Divine Orders only can function to those of divinity." Aether said

"So you, Palutena are capable of it, huh?" Rean asked

"Right. As well as you know who. I'm sure Levi will learn that power soon. But feel free to use my Divine Order whenever you need in battle."

"Will do." Rean nodded with a smile as he headed to the next table.

"Well hello there, Rean. Looking for a table to sit at?" Urbosa asked as she, Mipha, Litchi and Bayonetta.

"Hey there Urbosa, Mipha, Litchi, Bayonetta. This is an interesting group." Rean replied. "Having a ladies night out?"

"Hehe. In a sense." Mipha giggled. "This is our first time entering a human vacation resort and it's proven to be quite lovely. Though I am concerned about the people here giving me the strange look."

"I'm sure they've never seen a Zora before. Pay them no mind." Bayonetta said. "And of course, if any of them were to be "concerned" You can leave that to us."

"Come to think of it, were there times where Gorons, Ritos, Zoras and Gerodos ever leave Hyrule to the other worlds besides yourselves?" Litchi asked.

"I don't know for certain. Hyrule is a vast land after all." Mipha answered. "And sometimes we normally traveled on water."

"I have been planning on visiting Zemuria due to Grimm and monster problems. But also stories I heard from the princess." Urbosa said.

"Oh, you're not interested in sightseeing?" Bayonetta asked

"I was actually. But the problem is aside from travel expensive, and my duties as chief of the Gerudos, I couldn't pick which place I should visit. There are several places that has my interest."

"Hehehe, that is true. But on the bright side, at least we are able to see one of the beautiful sights here in Crossbell. And from different places here in Erebonia." Litchi replied

"True. Once the whole situation with the war is over, we can figure out a plan for the tour. Would you be interested, Mipha?" Urbosa asked

"Oh I would love that. I might even learn something new. Come to think of it. I haven't got swimming into the lake here. I would love to see what's underneath it." Mipha replied.

"Oh, now that you mention it, it's been two years since I actually swim underwater before. It's a completely different world." Rean mused. "Maybe I should join you and explore under the seas."

"What a lovely idea. Oh, why don't you bring your classmates and students too. I'm sure they'll also be interested."

"Thanks. I'll keep that in mind." Rean smiled. "Oh, right! I wanted to ask you ladies something."

"What is it?" Litchi asked

"Instructor Sara, Cana, Manuela and Sharon are having an all-ladies drinking contest to see who can stomach most of the alcohol. I'm here to do a little scouting. Would any of you be interested?"

"A ladies' contest to have more resistance to alcohol?" Mipha mused.

"Well, that's a fine idea. You can consider me in. I haven't gotten a good set of alcohol in awhile so this should be a fine opportunity."

"Well, I wouldn't mind having that little contest as well before I go on my little date with joy." Litchi smiled.

"Count me in as well. The drinks here are lovely but I also like to enjoy some of the other times with the ladies in the contest." Bayonetta said

"I'm not much of a... alcoholic types. So I'll pass." Mipha replied

"Okay, guess that makes three. Glad to have you." Rean smiled. "We're holding the contest at the beach, so please head over when you're ready."

"Very well. We'll be sure to make it." Bayonetta nodded as Rean took off.

Rean made his way to Mishelam Theme Park as he look around and then ended up in the Castle of Mirror Entrance where he spoted Ei, Zhongli, Miko and Levi together.

"Oh hey there Rean!" Levi greeted with a smile

"Hey there Levi, Zhongli, Ei, Miko. Are you guys having some family time?" Rean asked with a smile.

"That's right. Levi was showing us around when he and your students enter Mishelam during your capture." Zhongli nodded. "It's our first time we done something as a family."

"Right. I'm just glad we finally able to tell Levi the truth about him including that we're siblings instead of mother and grandparents house game. Not that I don't mind." Ei said

"Oh please, you enjoy every minute of it." Miko replied.

"Hush, Miko. But part of me feels bad that I couldn't bring my true son into this family bonding."

"Scaramouche, right?" Levi asked. "I wish we can get through to him though."

"Me too. He was dead set on killing you." Rean sighed. "He wasn't like that at all, right?"

"Right. I mostly left the raising to Miko while I was helping Zhongli with raising Levi. Truth be told. Raising Levi was practice for me before I can finally turn my attention to Kunikuzushi."

"If my understanding for eastern language is correct... Kunikuzushi stands for "country destroyer", right?" Rean asked

"Correct. When I created Kunikuzushi. He already has the power to destroy a country. Unfortunately, I wasn't sure how to raise him, aside from training him to control his powers. So I had him put to sleep and have Miko watch over him while I practiced with Levi."

"Yes. But sadly, you ended up creating a misunderstanding and cause your true son to build resentment." Miko replied. "I think Kunikuzushi would not be an appropriate name either if he ever wanders out the world."

"I agree. Shouldn't you come up with a better one?" Zhongli asked

"Don't lecture me about becoming a parent. What about you and your son, Zhongli?" Ei folded her arm.

"Wait, you have a son, Zhongli?" Rean asked in surprise

"This is the first time I heard about you having a child of your own." Levi added

"Yes. I have two children. Xiao and Ganyu. Unlike Ei, I raised them myself after I learned some parenting skills. Both of them are wonderful children. I was planning to introduce them to Levi once he became of the right age."

"So they're my nephew and niece. Which is the oldest?"

"Xiao is the firstborn and eldest son. While Ganyu is the second and daughter. I'm not sure where they are at the moment, but I will contact them and hope to arrange a family gathering. Of course, I can also invite the rest of you since you are all dear friends to my youngest brother."

"We would be honored to join." Rean smiled. "Oh, before I can forget. There's something I want to ask you guys about something."

"Hm?" Miko mused.

"Instructor Sara, Manuela, Sharon and Cana are hosting a contest on who can stomach the most alcohol. It's for women only though so. So I was wondering if you and Miko are interested Ei."

Levi sweatdrop. "For crying out lord Sara..."

"A contest where women have more resilience toward alcohol?" Zhongli asked

"Hmm, I would like to spend more time chatting with the other women but I think I'll have to pass on the alcohol. It's not that I have low tolerance mind you. I prefer a... sophisticated approached." Ei replied

Miko sighed. "Ei, you really need to try some new experience for once in your life. You can't just live out the same mundune life you enjoy."

"M-My life isn't mundane at all!"

"Well regardless, I wouldn't mind going to this contest. Sounds like a lot of fun to tease the drunks who lost. Like Sara. Hehehe..."

Rean sweatdrop. "I guess I can count on you to participate then. The contest will be on the beach where the drink table is at, so please head over when you're ready."

Rean begins to wander toward the Ferris Wheel area where he spots Angelica, Crow, George, Towa, and Morgan sitting down together.

"Do you morons ever think about anything other than what you want?" Angelica grumbled as she's drunk. "Hey! Are you even listening to me?! George!"

George sighed. "Yeah, I don't have a good excuse."

"Now, now Angie, George learn his lesson." Towa replied a sshe's a little drunk. "However, remember to be on your best behavior as Thors graduates!"

"U-Understood..." Angelica sighed.

"Roger that." George replied

"You know. I just thought of something. I wonder what would happen if My Trickster here didn't graduate from Thors and been the lazy no-good slacker as he is today." Morgan grinned

"Oh, if that were the case, then he can always re-enroll since the regulation states allows it. And now that I think about it. He might be better off in the branch campus with me and Rean."

Crow sweatdrop. "Oh I got a really bad feeling about this..."

"Oh I just thought of it. Crow can be either one of your or Rean's student!" Morgan laughed

"OH, HELL NO! Being Towa's student is bad enough, but if I were Rean...?! Auugh! Morgs! Don't try to torture me like this! What did I ever do to deserve this!?"

"Oh I can assure you it's just allllll imagination."

"Oh I'm going to get you for that!"

Rean sweatdrop. 'It's been a long time since I've seen the four of them together like this. And Morgan joining them just made things more interesting' Rean thought. 'I'm just glad that Crow didn't have to go out this way.' I should leave them be.' Rean then see Olivert and Scherazard with her Furret drinking.

Olivert let out a cough. "Un, Schera... Have you considered, just ever so slightly, slowing your pace a hair? You're drinking like fish with alcoholism." He asked as Scherazard drank.

"Fuurr..." Scherazard Furret responded with concern too.

"Aw, don't be such a wet blanket. First time we get to go out in a while and you wanna ruin all the fun?" Scherazard asked as she's drunk.

"No, no, that is hardly what I..."

"Well, I suppose there's no harm in cutting loose this evening! Allow me to join you in the festivities!" Olivert smiled.

"Well since you're not hurt or anything, we'll call up Aina, hit all of Liberl's best bars and party til dawn~" Scherazard respond cheerfully and drunkly.

Olivert frowned."Heheh... As temping as that sounds, I wonder if we could dial it back just a little tonight..."

"Did. You. Say. Something?"

"Nothing at all, my dearest."

Rean sweatdrop. 'I wonder who this Aina' is. Anyway, it really seems like only Schera and Muller could get away with treating the prince the way they do. Still... Scherazard looks like she's already had plenty to drink. But Sara asked for her, and the ladies are waiting for her too, so I should at least try.' "Sorry to interrupt you, but I have something to ask."

"Oh What is it, Rean?" Olivert asked

"Sara, Manuela, Cana and Sharon are hosting a drinking contest to see who can hold the most alcholol. I'm looking for participants. And Sara ask me to see if you're interested Schera."

"Heh, I see!"

"Facing off against Sara would be fun. Especially Cana and Manuela. I'll definitely take part!" Scherazard said, smirkingly

"U-Um, don't feel like you have to..." Rean trailed off. "It looks like you've had a lot to drink already.

"Heehee, don't worry about me! It foes straight to my cheeks, but I'm just starting out!" Scherazard said as she drink again.

'Are you sure, Your Highness?' Rean whispered

'I don't think you're going to be able to stop Schera when she's like this. I have preparations that need to be made. Can I ask you to watch over her for me?'

'Yes, please don't worry.' Rean nodded. "We're holding the contest at the beach, so please head over when you're ready, Scherazard."

"You got it!" Scherazard nodded as she drinks and Rean took off.

"Our drinking contest participants are all here, it seems. Better report this to Sara before we kick things off." He said as he took off to see Sara as he made his way to the beach. "Instructor."

"Ah, look who show up. So how did it go?"

"Well I managed to get General Le Quin and Schera on board. The others are going to be Roselia, Duvalie, Edel, Cecile, Lucy, Urbosa, Bayonetta, Miko, Litchi, Princess Camilla, and Eula. So in total is thirteen. Adding you four is seventeen."

"Wow! Not bad, Rean! You really put a lot of work into recruiting all these gals." Sara praised.

"Heh... I was wondering if I went overboard." Rean said, scratching his hair.

"Well, we don't have much time so let's go with the tournament style. We'll have four people in reach group while the last one will be five due to the seventeenth. With the last woman standing moving on the final match. We'll use some strong alcohol so we can declare a winner faster." Sara smirked.

"All right! Let's get this started!" Cana cheered, raising her cup.

"Tournament style, eh?" Aurelia mused. "Very well. I look forward to taking you on, Crimson Roselia, Duvalie the swift, miss Litchi and Captain Eula."

"Very well, Golden Rakshasa. I accept your challenge." Eula replied.

"W-Well. Since you're far better than me with the sword, but let's see how we fare with alcohol in hand." Duvalie replied "On my honor of my title, 'the Swift', I shall drink enough for both me and my lord!"

"Hehe, this shall be one exciting contest." Litchi giggled.

"I hope you haven't forgotten; my liver is 800 years old and it's only gotten stronger with each century." Roselia grinned.

"Rose I don't see how your liver surviving in 800 years help..." Lianne sweatdrop.

"Best of luck to the both of you, Lucy, Edel, Lady Camilla." Cecile smiled

"You, too, Cecile." Edel replied.

"Let's see if we can't have some fun with this." Secretary Lucy grinned.

Camilla giggled. "I'll be looking forward to this."

"It appears I'm in the same group as Lady Sara, Scherazard and Lady Urbosa after all." Sharon giggled

"Considering we chose them at random, the groups look like they'll make for an interesting game." Sara said. "By the way... you okay there, Scherazard?"

"It seems you already have your fair share of alcohol tonight." Urbosa replied.

"Eh, don't you worry about a thing. This is just barely the start of our fun." Scherazard chuckled. "Anyway, I'm raring to beat you, Purple Lightning. Since we're the same age, we should be pretty evenly matched." She turn to Sharon. "And I've heard some things about you, too, Sharon- From Joshua and Renne." Then Urbosa. "As for you Urbosa, I hope you can keep up."

"Ha! Spoken like a warrior. We shall see which one of us can resist." Urbosa smirked.

"Haha! Things are really going to heat up now!"

"You bet they are!" Sara turn to Sharon. "I'm gonna have to knock you three flat on the ground!'

"Hah. We shall, see "Purple Lightning." Urbosa smirked

"Aw, please be gentle with me now, Lady Sara~" Sharon giggled.

"All right, Manuela, Bayonetta, and Miko. Let's see if you can keep up with me!" Cana grinned.

"Ha! I been drinking strong alcohol during my whole career." Manuela grinned

"I had my own fair share of fine alcohol. So try not to disappoint me." Bayonette smirked.

"Hehe. Oh if only I have 50 mira for every time someone said that. This will make one fine victory." Miko grinned.

"All right, we're going to start with Roselia's Team." Rean said. "So... Let the drinking begin!"

Group one: Roselia, Duvalie, Aurelia, Eula and Litchi...

As the five of them sit down, the drinks are poured and then they begin to start drinking. One drink was fine, while Duvalie was a little Woozy, but she keep going with the others. Until a few drinks later, Roselia, Eula, Litchi, and Duvalie were drunk enough to admit defeat.

"Ugh... I really must be getting old. This is hitting me much harder than it used to. Perhaps this 800-year-old liver of mine has finally turned against me, after all." Roselia muttered. "I'll have you know that in my prime, I would have never lose to the likes of you lot!"

"Aw, come on. You're just sounding like a sore loser now, Grandmother." Vita replied

"I tried to warn you, Rose. But you often don't listen to what I say." Lianne sighed.

"Heeey! I'm still in this!" Duvalie grumbled as she "hic". "I'm just fiiine." She turn to Rean. "Come ooon! Pouur more already! In a- in a much bigger strein than that Golden Rakshasa!" Then she feel asleep. "Zzzzz..."

"Ugh... to think that I would reach this limit..." Eula grumbled. "No! I refuuuse to give up. Because if I were to... loose this round! I will have my revenge!"

"What's this about Revenge? You're so serious Eula~" Litchi giggled. "Why don't you take it down a notch and enjoy the fun? Say... where is the next refile?"

"Litchi, I think you had enough." Kokonoe sighed.

"Seriously, Litchi." Roy Carmine agreed.

"I think we can declare the winner here." Aurelia said. "Sharing drinks with the elder of the Hexen Clan, head of the Stahlritter, Professor Kokonoe's talented assistant and Captain of Liberl's Reconnaissance Company was certainly unforgettable. I'm just sorry it ended so soon."

"You're right about that." Rean nodded. "Now then, I declare the winner of this ground to be General Le Quin!"

Group 2: Cecile, Secretary Lucy, Edel and Camilla...

Next were Cecile, Secretary Lucy, Edel and Camilla as Lianne, Vita, Roy Carmine and Rean help carry Duvalie, Eula, Litchi and Roselia off the table and place them on the seat.

The next contest begin as all four ladies begin to start drinking the strong alcholol. But before long...

"Ugh... I can't drink anymore." Secretary Lucy admit

"Oh dear... It seems I must also admit defeat. Anymore and I'll end up in dreamland~" Camilla giggled drunkenly.

"I know. I've certainly had my fill of alcohol for a while." Cecile agreed "I'd love to talk more, but I don't think I can keep going in this contest."

"Oh, my. Well, that is an awful shame." Edel replied. "But don't push yourselves too hard."

"You four didn't go as hard as the first group, but you held your drinks down quite well all the same." Elie said

"It was a good try, Lucy." Kaela said

Emily sweatdrop. "Who would've thought Edel was such a hard drinker, though."

"Yeah, can't say I'm not surprised, too. That said, I can officially announce that Edel is our round two winner."

Group 3: Sara, Scherazard, Sharon, Urbosa.

Scherazard had already been drinking so it didn't take long before she laffed behind Sara, Urbosa and Sharon.

"Ah! I drink too much!" Scherazard grumbled. "I could swear my brain's trying to convince me Ain's sitting right across the table, so I'll have to call it quits here."

Sharon, Urbosa and Sara resume their drinking. While Sara and Urbosa are drunk enough, Sharon looks fine.

"Hic- Hey, Sharon~ Wh-What gives?" Sara grumbled. "Please be gentle with me,' pfft! You drink aaalll that booze and ain't even a little worse off? E-Explain yourself!"

"I don't so much have an exclamation, if I may be honest. With Scharazard having quitting now, it'd be my pleasure to pout all the alcohol we have left for you, Lady Sara~ Lady Urbosa." Sharon giggled.

"Ugh! Bring it on, I'll drink it." Sara said as she drink her booze. "No-Hic- big deal!"

"Sara, I don't think you look good." Urbosa groaned as she use her hand as a fan. "I don't think you should keep drinking now."

"Sh-Shuuut up. I've gotta beat her. I-Ugh- can't lose now! Crack open that bottle! I don't want a-any doubt of my glorious victory!"

"I don't think this one will be enough. At this rate, we may keep going for another ten. Ten full bottles, Lady Sara." Sharon said, causing Sara to frown.

"To be honest, I'm not sure this much is enough to judge if you're as strong as Aina or not." Scherazard grumbled.

"Sara, just admit defeat. We both give it our best shot." Urbosa said

"Agreed. There are just some drinkers out there that transcend what we mere mortals can grasp." Scherazard agreed.

"Nooo! It can't end here! I r-refuse to accept that!" Sara complained.

Rean sweatdrop. "Well... I'm just going to call it that Sharon's the winner on this one."

Round 4: Manuela, Miko, Cana, Bayonetta...

With the help of Levi dragging Sara out of the table of her defeat, Manuela, Miko, Cana and Bayonetta begin their contest as they pour the alcohol into the cup and begin drinking. A few drink later, Manuela and Bayonetta were drunk.

"Ooh... This is some fiiiine alcohol... but why the hell do I feel like I'm at my limit?" Manuela grumbled. "I been drinking for... soooo *hic* many years... and I never got that strong on strong alcohol!"

"I had to admit it, but I'm afraid I must draw out now. The alcohol is delicious, but if I take more, I'm afraid I'll end up reaching Manuela's state." Bayonetta said.

"H-Hey! What do you mean by "Manuela's state"?! Give me some of that liquor!"

"Oh my, you don't look so good Manuela. Why don't you call it quits before you pass out like a certain knight." Miko said as she looks fine.

"Hah! I guess Sara ain't the only sore loser in this contest. So let's go continue drinking this up." Cana smirked as she drinks.

"W-Who are *hic* you *calling* a sore loser?!" Manuela growled as she drinks. "I can take it! More importantly, how in the goddess's name can both of you can still be drinking like it meant nothing to you?!"

"Manuela, you heard rumors I can drink sets of barriers? Each of them was strong and delicious. My body and I just blink out and just drink as it was juice." Cana smirked as she drink.

"My, aren't you a special sort. Tell me, can you drink some of the strong alcohol I know in Inazuma?" Miko asked

"Hey! I ain't give... up here!"

"Okay... looks like Manuela and Bayonetta are out. However, I think I should say Miko and Cana win this round. I would have this round continue, but I think some of the other contestants can't wait." Rean sweatdrop.

"Sounds fine by me. Let's keep this contest going with the finals!" Cana raised her up with a grinned.

Final round: Aurelia, Edel, Sharon, Cana, Miko...

From there, the winners of the four groups began the final round. Aurelia, Edel, Sharon, Cana and Miko begin to pour the Alcholol and begin to drink up. Each bottle was soon empty one and one.

"Wow, you ladies aren't half bad to keep up with me." Cana said as she drink.

"I've never drank so much before. It turns out I'm much stronger than I'd estimated~" Sharon giggled

"Hmm... I think some sweeter alcohol would make for a nice change of pace." Edel said

"I would enjoy some nice treats and a bottle of sake. But this isn't half bad either." Miko said.

"Well, well! I don't think we're going to have a winner any time soon." Aurelia chuckled as she and the other contestants resume drinking.

One of Mishelam's staff approached Rean.

"Er, Excuse me. This is all the alcohol we have for the contest." He said as he hand over the alcohol. "We still have some other customers so I was hoping you might call it a night here."

Rean sweatdrop. "Of course. Sorry for exhausting so much of your supply." He turn to the ladies. "I think we're going to have to declare it a draw between these five."

"Heehee. That's a shame. But if we're out, then we're out." Edel giggled.

"I did really want to see Edel drunk. But what can you do? Theresia sighed.

"There'll be another chance, but these five seem undefeatable." Dorothee nodded. "Next time, we should get the guys involved, too!"

"Agreed! Next time we should invite Wallace." Aurelia nodded.

"Maybe Master Rean, Master Levi, and Lady Alisa will take part next time as well?" Sharon suggest.

"I think I'd be knocked out with Levi before everyone else even got started." Rean replied sincerely.

"Seriously..." Levi sighed. "Especially that victory party back in Smash Bros after the Organization's downfall."

"Yeah. The two of us were drunk thanks to Crow. And then the two of us were carried back to the dorms and then we slep-mmph?!" Rean's mouth was covered by Levi whose face was turning red.

'Don't tell them that part!' Levi whispered.

"Oh? Did something interesting happen?" Miko grinned.

"N-Nothing at all!"

"How suspicious." Ei mused. "Your face is awfully red... and So it Rean."

"I-I can assure you I'm not." Rean said as he waved it off. "A-Anyway, just get a look at the rest of the competition." He said as he and Levi turn to the drunk competition. "I'm wondering if we should've stopped them while they were ahead."

"Ugh... I don't feel so well..." Roselia groaned."Someone bring me water!"

"Urk!" Duvelia let out burp.

"Duvalie, are you all right?" Lianne asked.

"I-I don't know... I... uh... need to head to the little swordswomen's room... *burp*."

"Nothing good ever comes of ignoring your limits..." Secretary Lucy groaned. "How are you feeling, Cecile, Lady Camilla?"

"I'm all right... I think I need some time to recover and think what I should do next..." Camilla sighed.

"I'm fine. I'm just worried about everyone else. I gave out all the medicine I had on hand, but it doesn't seem like it was enough." Cecile sighed.

"What about you, Sara, Manuela, you okay? We've still got a little booze left. Shouldn't let it go to waste." Scherazard said.

"Scherazard, you really need to control yourself... ugh..." Manuela sighed.

"Seriously... ugh... give it a break already... ugh..." Sara groaned.

"Everyone smells so much like alcohol..." KeA sighed. "But... we have such a big day tomorrow. I hope they don't get too messed up from all that drinking."

"Jiggle..." KeA's Jigglepuff let out a pout as she fold her arms.

"Some of them obviously drank over their limits." Lloyd sweatdrop.

"I think they should at least get som rest as soon as possible." Elie said until they all heard some music playing from a Lute.

"I wouldn't worry too much about that." Olivert said as he came in.

"Your Highness?" Rean blinked. "Now that you mention it, you did say you had some kind of contingency plan, right?"

"That's right. I assumed that something like this might come to pass. So Roseine and some other familiar faces aided me in whipping up this special concoction." He said.

"And what's that?" Manuella asked, groaning and holding her head.

"Why don't you see for yourself. Don't worry, you'll be just fine." Olivert smiled as he begin to give the concoction to all the exhausted drunks as they take it and drink it, then they feel all right.

"This medicine is amazing." Sara said in surprise.

"It feels like it's actually washing the alcohol out of my system." Duvalie agreed.

"Amazing... I never knew such a possibility! What is this?" Manuela asked.

"Oh, so this must be the Diaset's Secret' I've heard tell about." Roselia mused.

"The Septian Church has some nifty, little formulas under its belt." Vita said.

"So this is what you used before you went drinking with Aina?" Scherazard asked.

"Yes." Olivert nodded. "If you take a dosage before drinking, you won't get swept up in the throes of inebriation even a bit. Of course, it's also effective if you take it after the deed's been done. Perhaps with this remedy on my side, I could challenge you again, Schera!"

"You know... I think we've all had enough of drinking contests now."

"Either way, thanks for your help, Your Highness." Rean smiled.

"Of course. I have no doubt they would've recovered with a mere good night's sleep, however... I want everyone to enjoy this night to its fullest. You should do the same, Rean. Enjoy yourself, while you can."

"Thank you, I will."
