Chapter 2: Growing up

The first year for Onyx with the Nikos household was full of fun and surprises, learning how to talk and then going to school to learn more of the basics like reading, writing and drawing. Amarys and Pyrrha were extremely proud of his progress even if it was slower at times and the three grew close, especially Pyrrha and Onyx who were almost inseparable.

It wasn't to say that our Saiyan didn't have bad moments as he soon got to know the discrimination of Faunus first hand thanks to his monkey tail, he tried not to get bothered by it but when those stupid adults and children his age went after Pyrrha it bothered him a lot. Why did they have to be so cruel to his sister just because she was a normal human? It hurted him badly because he loved his sister dearly.

Thankfully, nobody tried to mess with her mother since Amarys husband was a well known and respected huntsman in the community and his huntsmen comrades but it didn't meant that some words weren't thrown at her behind closed doors and talking about Huntsmen, the first time the ones that knew the Nikos family heard adults insulting Pyrrha because of him, hell almost broke loose when they stood up for her and him making the siblings admire the huntsmen for their authority and strength.

As the siblings grew to understand what a huntsman was, the defenders of the world, warriors against darkness and the strongest there is, their fascination only grew bigger. Pyrrha because her late father was one and she wanted to be like him and for Onyx…something stirred deep inside him a thirst for battle, the desire to be strong so no one badmouths his loved ones, the ones that showed him kindness, a home and a family.

As the years passed, Onyx found himself hobbies like vehicles like cars and bikes, his room starting to have models in the shelves that Amarys was more than happy to get them. He also found a passion in music, an art and oh how happy Amarys was and immediately enrolled him in music classes, his son could be a famous musician!

She wished his son was more…Positive since the more he grew older he started to be on his guard and having a more serious expression, not that she can blame him though, she has heard from Pyrrha that the treatment he gets is the usual for Faunus and he has a couple bullies.

Pyrrha on the other hand was more akin to fitness, eating healthy so Amarys got her light stuff so she could keep herself in shape but was adding more as the years passed. She was also incredibly smart so Amarys got her books and advanced books but a realization soon hit her, she was exactly like her husband and she knew when she was older, she was going to ask to be a huntress.

Her fears became true when Pyrrha started asking questions and to hear stories about her father, Amarys could only answer the best she could as she and her husband promised that whatever their daughter would be in the future it would be respected. Onyx heard the stories at the dining table, he didn't know the man but he was his sister's father and Onyx understood it meant a lot for Pyrrha so he listened carefully so he could help Pyrrha in the future but as more as he heard about the man, he grew to respect him for his selfishness and kindness. To be the protector of those who can't, he was the shield and sword for Remnant be Faunus or Human was what Pyrrha's father considered himself…More goals were added to Onyx's mind.

To protect his family, this world and its people, he must grow strong.

Sadly, with time the racism thrown against him grew since they couldn't bother Pyrrha or her mother but his resolve barely waved, maybe because he was stubborn as hell or his will was so strong or was it his pride? Nobody knew, not even himself

By the age of seven, both Pyrrha and Onyx have grown since they were kids, making Amarys proud since she has been raising both of them well and didn't feel like she was being a failure. Both her kids had good manners, were kind and smart in different areas. Onyx was a little behind everyone but wasn't by much so she considered it a win but she could do a whole lot better and she wasn't going to give up but what worried her was his health.

For some reason, he was always feeling sleepy, low on energy and the doctors theorized it was because of the head injury that messed with something inside him but everything else was alright, maybe it was a health condition he was born with and he was easier to tire than other people.

Today, it was the day that Pyrrha started being taught the technical terms and the most basic stuff to be a huntress by her husband's late friends and while she was with her new instructors, Amary took Onyx to the doctor for the monthly check up.

"I'm fine, really, just tired" Onyx says as Caltha, who stopped being a nurse and became a doctor, examined him.

"Is that so? Your hearing is fine and your eyesight is perfect" Caltha says finishing her examination then turning to Amarys "Does he skip meals?"

"No/Never" Mother and son say at the same time.

"Alright, to be honest, we have been looking into this for a couple years but found nothing" Clatha sits on her desk.

"So something Genetic then?" Onyx raises an eyebrow.

"Or the head injury but I doubt it, I mean, look at you pipsqueak! You are talking fine, I heard that your grades are alright so I'm leaning more into something genetic" Clatha explains.

"Maybe with age it will get better right?" Amarys asks, a bit worried about her son.

"Maybe, genetics are hard to understand without the proper specialist, something we don't have here on Argus or Mistral to be honest. Atlas does but…" Caltha says eyeing Onyx's tail.

"I know, they don't like my kind" the Saiyan sighs.

"Oh sweety, we'll find a way" Amarys smiles, reassuring her son.

"Thanks mom" He smiles back softly.

"Aw, how cute" Clatha muses with a smirk.

But there was some worry in the air, tensions with the White Fang have been increasing recently and some other radical groups of Faunus have been appearing alongside human supremacist groups.

Meanwhile, on the planet of King Kai.

The god has been watching with eagle eye the progress of the anomaly called Remnant while also supporting Goku or Kakarot as Vegeta calls him during the years, a true hero despite being a Saiyan and never considering himself a hero either. He sacrificed his life to save Earth and his son from his own flesh and blood. He fought against the emperor of the universe and realized the ancient legend of the Saiyans. Finally came back to Earth with a new skill, instant transmission, a skill he learned on his stay on Yardrat after his fight against Frieza.

Yes, King Kai has been busy with Goku's journey but he kept checking Remnant as it was mentioned before and saw the issues that the planet had. Soulless creatures made from darkness that only exist to destroy. The racial problems in the planet between Faunus and Humans but most importantly, how it is affecting the young Saiyan Onyx.

A few days after Goku was on Earth, King Kai contacted him via telepathy.

"Hey, Goku, can you hear me?" King kai speaks in the mind of his former student.

Goku was doing push ups on his house while his son Gohan watching outside the window and his wife Chi-Chi was doing the dishes

"Oh, Hey King Kai! What's up?" Goku asks with a cheerful tone as he stops doing push ups, sitting down on the floor, crossing his legs.

"Have you heard of a planet called Remnant?" King Kai asks.

"Can't say I have, why? Does it have tasty food or strong people?!" Goku asks, feeling excited despite not hearing more information.

"It's a planet created by different entities, filled with soulless creatures made of darkness itself but if i'm honest, they are little compared to you or even to a human like Krillin" King Kai starts explaining.

"Aw, that sounds kinda boring…" Goku admits.

"Let me finish Goku" King Kai scolds his former student "Let me tell you that the planet is filled with Humans, like the ones in Earth and another race called Faunus, Humans with animal like-traits"

"Okay…?" Goku tilts his head, not noticing that His wife and child are looking at him weird and confused.

"Yeah, people with cat ears, wings, tails" King kai shares more information

"Oh, cool" Goku really didn't care.

"But there is racial issues between Humans and Faunus since Faunus is the minority…but we are getting off track, there is something that will interest you, if a Saiyan would be on the planet he would pass a faunus don't you think?" King Kai smirks

"I mean..sure? if what you are saying is true then yeah, I mean, Gohan and I had monkey tails like Vegeta" Goky nods but is starting to suspect something "Why are you telling me this King Kai?"

"There is a Saiyan on Remnant, a weak one but with the same potential as you to be stronger" King kai finally says what it meant.

"A Saiyan is on that planet?!" Goku exclaims, now her wife and child are worried.

Goku's mind immediately ran through the possibilities: would he be a good Saiyan? He doubts it since how his own brother, Vegeta's goon and Vegeta himself were…all those innocent dying just because of a blood thirsty Saiyan. Goku's blood boiled for a moment as he gritted his teeth.

"Dad, calm down" Gohan tried to reassure his father.

"Yeah…sorry" Goku takes a deep breath.

"Relax Goku, that Saiyan is just a child, a full blooded Saiyan like you but he is no older than Gohan and is a good kid but since Remnant has those social problems…he could turn to a darker path since there are extremist groups and he considers himself a Faunus" King Kai provides further information before making a pause "I want you to go and train him on the right path Goku, he is a good kid and has the possibilities of being a strong warrior and hero"

King Kai told what he knows about Onyx to his former student and this caught Goku's attention if he was honest, training this Saiyan to be a martial artist like himself when he was a kid, like Master Roshi trained him and even before when he lived with Grampa Gohan. They were his guides during his childhood alongside Bulma who was with him from day one on his adventures.

Maybe he could be the one who will guide the Saiyan kid to the right path…also it doesn't hurt to have another Saiyan to train with when he gets strong enough. Goku was coming to terms with the idea from King Kai but giving Chi-Chi and Gohan a quick glance, he also had to be here for his family. He has been two years or a bit longer, give or take, away from Gohan and Chi-chi, sure he was dead, healing and traveling back to earth and he has gotten stronger but he misses his family dearly.

It's quite funny really, he never thought if having a family and marriage he thought it was food, something to eat…Well…He did eat according to Roshi and it took him almost four years to get what he meant when he asked that to Chi-Chi and she, as much as a the temperament of his wife could let her without hitting him with a frying pan, explain what his master meant…He was getting off track again! But what he was thinking was that he has gotten to understand how families work and the social standards, at least the bare minimum.

"Hey, let me talk with Chi-Chi" Goku says, his face serious.

"Oh, uh sure, I'll call later then" King Kai said, cutting the telepathic communication.

"Gohan" Goku says taking a deep breath "Go to your Room for a moment, i gotta talk with Chi-Chi in private"

This was unseen to Chi-Chi and Gohan, Goku using his authority as father to order Gohan to go to his room because he has to talk with Chi-Chi. The first thing that went to their minds was that Goku was starting to feel unwell or that something really bad happened or that Gohan was in trouble, hell even Chi-Chi thought she was in trouble. Gohan, remembering this tone from his father in Namek when he ordered him to get out of the battle after transforming into a Super Saiyan, immediately went to his room to study and avoid getting grounded.

"G-Goku, is everything alright?" Chi-Chi asks worriedly.

"Yeah, everything is alright but something came up" Goku takes a deep breath.

After a few minutes, Goku explained the situation to his wife, King Kai requested and this Saiyan kid on this planet called Remnant.

"So you want to go and train this alien kid?" Chi-Chi furrowed her brow.

"A part of me wants to, somehow it makes me feel nostalgic and I want to make sure no innocents are harmed in case he is like my brother or that Nappa guy but…" Goku admits but makes a brief pause.

"What's the but mister?" Chi-chi was already getting temperamental.

"I don't want to leave you and Gohan, i already been away for a long time and it kinda sucks being away from you two" Goku sighs

"Oh, Goku…" Chi-chi expresión softens, it was extremely rare for Goku to say this kind of thing or show these emotions even if he was a bit dumb.

"This time his brain knows what he is saying but his heart is the one confused" She thinks to herself with an amused expression "Why do you feel like you need to go Goku?"

"Well…Ever since Namek, I've been thinking about what it means being a Saiyan and Vegeta's words when he died, transforming into a Super Saiyan, it changes things ya know?" Goku chuckles "But it's too similar to my case, he doesn't remember anything like I do because a head injury, being raised by a human…Worries me that like me, a surviving Saiyan would arrive to that planet looking for him and destroy everything like Raditz almost did here"

Chi-Chi stood silent, it was true that the similarities were quite obvious that it hurts. Maybe Goku was overthinking things since he almost died again recently and is finally reconnecting with his lost heritage but at the same time he didn't want to leave her and their son. She was sure that nothing bad would happen but from what he told her, the habitants of that planet were quite racist to people with animal traits and if some poor fool would have tried something like that with her little Gohan she would have ripped their spine and beat them with it.

The princess of Fire mountain really saw the conflict in the face of her lovely dumb husband, taking a deep breath to clear her thoughts…it wouldn't hurt if Goku did something right?

"Tuesday. Thursday, and Saturday you can go to that planet, the rest of the days you will spend them here with us, training with Gohan for those androids from the future" Chi-chi says, crossing her arms and smirking.

"Wha-?!" Goku gasps "Really? is that fine?!"

"This is important for you isn't it Goku? Hey, maybe you can make some money and get us stuff from that planet since it's so similar to ours" Chi-Chi winks.

"Chi-chi, you beautiful woman that lives in my house and cooks my meals!" Goku immediately stands up and hugs his wife.

"That's what I do Goku" She giggles.

"Okay, I'll go to Kame house and get some advice from Master Roshi" Goku grins and puts his index and middle finger on his forehead, closing his eyes to concentrate.

One insta transmission later and Goku was already in Kame house, asking his old master for advice after explaining the situation. Roshi was surprised by this but quickly wrote for Goku the same training regiment he made him do when he was a child with added extras since the kid doesn't have any background in martial arts. There was only one problem…Goku was terrible with something on the training and it was studying…he might need help with that later for Gohan, heck, he'll ask him to refresh the basics that he learned a long time ago from Roshi.

When Goku teleports away, Roshi was amused by the idea of his student growing enough to take his first student and knowing him, he'll get him a gi or something similar with the turtle school logo. If Roshi were to die tomorrow for any reason and couldn't be revived he would be fine knowing that Goku will keep passing down the teachings of the turtle school.

With the training regiment ready, Goku made a stop at Bulma's since Vegeta was there and he needed more information about his race since the only things he knew were that Saiyans love fighting and the giant ape transformation. Don't get Goku wrong, he won't disclose the information of another Saiyan to Vegeta, not yet at least since Goku still felt that Vegeta wasn't fully reformed.

To Goku's surprise, Vegeta was more than happy to share that information with him and he went on and on about Saiyans but Goku got the gist of it. The reason why Saiyans eat so much it's because they have a really fast metabolism and they burn through it faster because all the fighting, even a non combat Saiyan would eat three times more than a human.

Goku also learned more about the Zenkai boost, he already deduced how it works in the most basic sense on Namek, when you get injured during a fight and survive, you get stronger but it was much more than that as even winning a hard fought battle meant the boost will also affect you as the body of the Saiyan learns from the injuries. Goku found this fascinating as a warrior and it explained so much during his childhood after the fight against king Piccolo, Tao Pai Pai, those fights he was on the brink of death and when he comes back he comes back stronger.

There was also the theory that as a child the increase in power is not that noticeable so the body could withstand the power but when the body reaches adulthood the increases are bigger. Goku also thought that reaching Super Saiyan level might make the increases barely noticeable since he didn't get much stronger after the fight with Frieza.

Among other things about Saiyans is that they have high resistances against extreme temperatures, be cold or hot, age slower after reaching maturity and have growth spurts. Man, that explained why he was so little and then started growing so fast!

After that nice chat with Vegeta and the obligatory threat from him saying that he'll get stronger sooner than later, Goku went to Bulma and asked for some capsules to store food. Why food? Because he'll have to feed himself and then add the food of his future student.

"Here you are Goku, ten empty capsules, just click the button and throw it around the food" Bulma hands Goku a case with the empty capsules.

"Awesome, you are the best Bulma!" Goku cheered.

"Of course I am…but why so many?" Goku's oldest friend asked.

"Don't tell Vegeta but…King Kai told me there is another Saiyan like me on another planet, no memories, thinking that he is just a normal person" Goku decides to confide in his best female friend.

"Ah…I see, so you are going to go and connect with him?" Bulma asks, crossing her arms.

"He is a kid, so i'm going to train him and teach him discipline and the good path as Master Roshi would say" Goku laughs but his expression gets serious "I was lucky that i had great friends growing up, you, Krillin, Yamcha…But in his world…there is humans with animal traits that are treated poorly and since he has a monkey tail, so does he and it worries me and King Kai that he would snap and do what I was supposed to do with Earth"

There was a small moment of silence. Bulma has never seen Goku thinking this much with the exception of one time…she was sure smoke would be coming out from his ears but there was a question that she needed to ask.

"Are you going to tell him he is an Alien?" Bulma asks

"Is it a bad idea?" Goku raises an eyebrow.

"Judging from a certain reaction of yours…" Bulma looks away.

Before going to Namek, there was a small visit from Bulma, Krillin and Master Roshi on the Hospital that Goku was staying after his injuries he got from the fight against Vegeta…it didn't go well since Goku confronted them about his giant ape transformation, there was a bit of venom on his voice but more than that was guilt since that's how he learned that himself was the cause of death of his beloved Grandpa.

Of course they made up but he didn't talk to them for two days despite visiting, feeling betrayed.

"I had my reason to be angry" Goku also looks away.

"I know, but this is about the kid and I think he isn't mature enough to accept he is an Alien and not like the others he is surrounded with. This might help him appreciate his new home and when he is older and mature, drop the bomb, it will be easier to swallow that pill" Bulma explains her reason.

"I mean…sure but-"

"When he is older, despite you being a big man child you are more mature than before, if we told you about the transformation you might have run away and never talked to us again" Bulma cuts him off and huffs.

"Yeah, you are right…thanks for the advice Bulma" Goku smiles softly.

"Any time monkey boy" Bulma punches his shoulder playfully.

After gaining more knowledge about his own race and some helpful advice from Bulma Goku leaves to hunt for some food, fruits, vegetables and meat of course. While doing that King Kai contacted Goku again and got the good news, he also explained how to get to Remnant using instant transmission to his planet then to Remnant with his help.

Goku returned home to find that Chi-Chi was out with Gohan, so he decided to go to his son's room and look for books. He seriously can't believe he is doing this but Master Roshi was his master and if he says it's necessary then it is. Picking the most basic books he started reading, some stuff he remembered other stuff not so much, specially math, god he hated math.

When Chi-Chi and Gohan returned they were surprised to find Goku asleep between some of Gohan's books on the table, with a pencil and a piece of paper with really basic additions and subtractions. Gohan now seriously thought something was wrong with his father while Chi-Chi was ecstatic that Goku was finally acting like a good role model for their son, she was also hopeful that if he gained some actual useful knowledge to be a proper adult he could get a job in the future.

"Dad, wake up, what's wrong?" Gohan shook his father to wake him up.

"uh?" Goku said groggy with a bit of spit outside his mouth "Oh, welcome home"

"Dad…what's going on? You never read books or rather study at all!" Gohan exclaimed, worried.

"Well, you see…" Goku scratched his cheek and told what was going on.

"So…you'll be leaving? What about the androids?" Gohan asks, feeling a pang of jealousy.

"Don't worry Gohan, rest is necessary and those days you can study like you mother wants you to do, heck, you can help me study too before going to bed" Goku gave him a family trademark grin.

"I think that's a wonderful idea Goku" Chi-Chi clapped her hands excitedly, her husband was growing up…slowly but he was growing up nonetheless.

"Mom, are you okay with that?!" Gohan exclaims again.

"Of course, this is important to your Father, it will also make him a decent member of society, or at least more functional outside fighting" Chi-Chi's tone was extremely amused.

"What Chi-Chi said" Goku then puts his hand on Gohan's head "Don't worry Gohan, I'll be sure to spend time with you too, you are my son after all, nothing can change that"

"I…sure, I understand Dad but you'll have to tell me stories about that planet, i'll admit that I'm kinda curious" Gohan finally nodded but that pang of jealousy still was there but was smothered by the reassurance from his father.

"Now, who wants dinner?" Chi-chi said, putting on an apron and walking to the stove.

"Oh, me! I'm starving!" Goku grins as his stomach roars.

Meanwhile on Remnant.

Onyx was taking a nap on the couch on the living room, he was feeling tired as always but as he slept, he had a weird dream of him in some sort of a box and the front opened and he fell out of it, hitting himself against branches and trees and finally hitting the ground with his head. In his mind, it didn't make any sense but the pain he felt in that dream was real, making him turn and groan.

Soon, he felt something startle him in his sleep, shaking him awake and as he opened his eyes he saw his sister Pyrrha with a worried look.

"Are you okay Onyx?" She asks with a soft tone.

"Yeah…just a bad dream I think" Onyx sighs as he covers his eyes with his right arm.

"Do you want to talk about it brother?" Pyrrha presses further.

"It was like…falling and injuring myself, it felt real" He admits

"Oh brother, it was only a dream, Mom and I will never let anything hurt you" Pyrrha hugs his brother.

"I know I know" He smiles softly "So, how was your first day with a pro huntsman?"

"Oh, it was wonderful, i learned so much, heard many stories about my dad" Pyrrha's tone turns extremely excited "They also taught me some footwork to start with"

Soon, the two siblings started talking about huntsmen in general until it was time to sleep. The next day was the usual for them, waking up, taking a bath, breakfast and then waiting for the bus to pick them up not knowing that today Onyx life will change drastically as a man wearing orange arrived at Remnant.

Goku teleported to their rooftop, getting familiar with the ki signature from Onyx and the two others inside the house. These humans were strong compared to their earth counterparts, even untrained they were twice as strong and he theorized it was because of the Grimm that King Kai said. the Earth Saiyan jumped down from the roof in a sneaky manner since King Kai told him to keep a low profile and not call the attention, easier said than done really but he will try.

He decided to take a walk around the city of Argus, to get to know the place and King Kai wasn't lying, these were humans and the city was pretty nice looking despite looking so odd compared to Earth's cities, smaller too and that was something he digged since he wasn't a big fan of big cities.

Goku noticed that there were people with stronger power levels, way stronger and they carried weapons and they were mostly in a place that had a sign that had written "Sanctum academy". King Kai words echoed in his mind as the god explained that the Human and Faunus of this world have a special skill called Aura, a manifestation from the soul that makes them stronger so they can fight the Grimm and these academies are to teach them how to train to be a fighter. Apparently Aura was something that people in Remnant only had but Goku thought it was another manifestation of Ki tied to these people, he wasn't sure yet until he saw it directly in combat.

As he walked he was able to observe a few faunus, man, King Kai wasn't lying about it since he said they had animal traits. Goku even saw a monkey faunus that made him take a double take since he thought it was another Saiyan but the color of the tail was red like the hair, Saiyans only had black or in the extremely rare case according to Vegeta, dark brown hair and the tail was always brown.

After getting his fill of the city, he returned to Onyx's house only to find a redhead woman sending him and a mini version of herself out and the two kids boarded a bus. He heard the two calling her "Mom" and quickly realized that this woman is the adoptive mother of his Saiyan brethren.

When the bus departed Goku approached the woman who was still waving her hand and tapped her in the shoulder. Amarys turns around to find this tall man in an orange martial arts gi with navy blue short sleeved undershirt, wrist bands, a knot tied belt and boots of the same color. Normally she wouldn't be startled but the hair of this man with some impossible angles that defied gravity and the black eyes, all of this reminded her of her son.

"Hi! Do you mind if we talk about your son in private?" Goku said with a cheerful smile.

AN:

Dun dun Dun! Cliffhanger! sort of. I know that the focus on Onyx is not fully focused right now since i'm writing everything in motion, introductions and that sort of things, Next chapter will be kind of the same because, I am setting everything in motion, how things are going to move forward, this is the introduction, in a 3 chapter thing. the fourth chapter in this arc will be more focused on Onyx.

So! with that out of the way, lets talk about Goku, He is a plain character and it's fine, he will be a plain-ish character on the story while he interacts with Onyx because they are going to be in a Master-student role and both learn from each other in comparison as learning from his friends or family. Why is that? Goku is a martial artist and he'll be more reactive to learning if it's meant to be training.

Sure, he learned the basics from Roshi, meaning that he isn't aliterate or anything but he didn't put it in his daily life but now he is going to be the teacher so he has to get a grasp on those things, even if it's a little more than the basics because he knows the importance of a master knowledge being passed down to the student and If Roshi told him to do this, he'll put up the work. Will he change a lot? Not really, he'll be the same Goku, just a bit smarter in other areas, or rather than smarter, knowledgeable and with a bit more common sense.

Now, about Kobach/Onyx, his personality is still not fully formed yet, I have an idea of how I want him to act. Goku and Vegeta have cores on their personality and that's what I want to give Onyx. Goku is naivety/innocence, positive and purity, Vegeta is Pride, Royalty and arrogance. I want Onyx to lean into 3 things, Loner, Irritability, Family and connections. Why these 4?

Loner: He will be uninterested in the world that is rejecting him because he is seen as a faunus. So he doesn't have a lot of human friends, what about faunus? He is a black sheep by the mere reason of he is an adopted faunus in a human family, It's irrational why Faunus kid would be like that towards him but children are irrational and would think he prefers humans since he is always with Pyrrha. And sincere is a loner he starts being Irritable.

Irritable: He gets cranky easily because of the bad treatment and stupid things, he'll have a short fuse with a lot of people and will be dismissive. He'll be on his own being the loner he is but will react in an irritable way when the spotlight is on him or talked to, meaning that he will be rather rude or blunt but he has exceptions Family and those connections he will create.

Family: It means everything to him, he doesn't have memories and a kind lady took him in, gave him a name, a home, food, a sister who he loves dearly. Family is his safe heaven and he won't be rude or blunt with them, not being irritable, not as a loner with them since he'll spend time with his sister and mother. Family is the main core of his ideals. If his family is alright, he is alright. Later on in the story, this core will be challenged by a certain someone.

Connections: Since he never had real friends and is a loner, the few actual connections he has, are strong because they have a meaning to him and the first connection we will see are the one with Goku, a stranger who isn't family but becomes his master and later on, his sister's team and friends. He will be less rude at the beginning but he'll soften up with time and so, his loner trait will disappear since he now has connections.

These are the 4 cores that i'll be working with him for what i have planned on my mind, they might change in time, sure but at least it's a guide of how i want him to act.

Now, for the reviews.

Kalub092: Thanks! I'll understand if this chapter is a bit slow and the other too but hey, i'm glad you are liking it so far and yes, don't worry, i'll be posting more it will take some time, Work takes time from writing and my free time but I have the next chapter half written already.

Eli villa: dude, you have no idea how much i overthought the name, i made multiple combinations. I had Avoct from Avocado, Onio for Onion, Leke for Leek along with others but Kobach stuck with me. Yeah, we'll see how the story forms, i have an idea of some scenes but they might change.

Guest: I had an idea of some remnant (Pun not intended) From Frieza Army to appear and do something, actually, a Frieza soldier will show up later on but I have something COOLER for later on (Pun totally intended). I played around with the idea of Turles and his gang to show up but at the end, i decided not to since the tree of might wouldn't work in my opinion or at least i don't see it working so i opted for another Saiyan enemy to show up, No, it isn't Broly but someone closer to Onyx And yes, he will learn about Saiyans later when he is older and from another saiyan who'll see if he has the pride.

Some1call4MR

-E: Okay, this is a lengthy one but let's see. About the hit on the head, what it did was change what he knew about saiyans, the conqueror side of the race but really didn't change his nature since Saiyans love fighting and getting stronger. Goku did take more after his mother when the knowledge of Saiyan culture were lost. that's my take on it and is pretty much what you said so cool.

While that is true, that characters have to be along the cast of RWBY since it's set on there, it can be good if done right, not saying that i might do that correctly, I won't be arrogant about that but i honestly like the cast of RWBY and i want to make their character interact.

While I like your suggestion of him not being an student which is a Take that i didn't think about it…It's a battle academy and I love battle academies but more on the character side of things, He has to attend Beacon for the reason that he needs to continue his training with people of his own world, Goku will teach
