Goku and Gohan's fists clashed, causing shockwaves that were felt throughout the universe. On the other worlds that the Z-fighters were searching for the dragon balls on, this power was felt and gave them all pause. And on the world of the kais, the Elder Supreme Kai and Kibito Kai were watching the confrontation. Kibito Kai muttered to himself,
"This power…how can anything,like it exist?! It makes Rigeta (Rikkuverse Gogeta) in Super Saiyan 4 look like nothing! And Gohan's using that power you unlocked for him!"
Elder Kai responded,
"Yes indeed. The power these 2 exert is so great…they might even give trouble to the one that locked me in the Z-sword 75 million years ago."
Kibitoshin's eyes widened in shock. He didn't know who or what had unlocked his ancestor in the Z-sword, but from what it sounded like he was a big threat. And back on Earth, Goku and Gohan were trading blows with each other at lightspeed, causing shockwaves that were threatening to rip apart the macrocosm.
Goku then delivered a titanic uppercut, sending Rikku's son flying into the Earth's atmosphere. Goku flew after him and began punching him over and over again, sending them both further and further away from Earth. Luckily they were going so fast that by the time they landed on a planet with oxygen, they hadn't run out of it themselves.
The planet they landed on was planet Imecka, which had been rebuilding its economy ever since the Imeckans had overthrown and imprisoned Don Kee. Goku took a few seconds to look around, smirking in remembrance of his journey to this planet with his world's Trunks and Pan. this gave Gohan the chance to bark to the Imeckans,
"Everyone, run! This battle will be messy, and you could all get killed in the crossfire!"
The imeckans began to flee at Gohan's request, but it wouldn't amount to much as the shockwaves caused by him and Goku clasing destroyed entire cities with their power. Numerous Imeckans were getting killed, so Gohan realized that he needed to take this battle someplace else. He held his breath and flew off into space, with Goku holding his breath as well and following right after him.
The 2 continued beating each other with countless blows in space, passing through various planets. Eventually, after landing on the barren Planet M2, Elder Kai's voice entered Gohan's mind.
'Gohan! Can you hear me?!'
Gohan was surprised to hear the voice of the one who had unlocked his potential, and asked,
"Old Kai? What is it?"
'All that roughhousing of yours is threatening the entire macrocosm! Not only that, but you're destroying a bunch of worlds! We barely have any inhabited planets in this universe as is!'
"Well, I'd need a planet that could withstand me and this guy's power if I wanted to stop jumping around. Does any planet like that exist?"
'Hmmmmm…..well, there's a planet northwest of M2 about 300 million miles away. It's called Mutek and it's got the densest surface I've ever seen! And you shouldn't have to worry about hurting anyone because the only inhabitants are some birds!'
"Perfect! Thanks Old Kai."
Gohan then charged at Goku, slamming into him and sending the both of them soaring into the inky void of space once again. As they flew faster and faster, Goku punched Gohan in the face, sending him careening towards a different planet. As he landed, he got up and dodged a punch from Goku that blasted a hole through the planet.
As the 2 refaced each other, Goku noticed something out of the corner of his eye, and it was something that made his blood boil. It was Rikku and Vegeta, but they looked different than when he had last seen them. Vegeta looked identical to his original world self, barring the fact that he still had that haircut. But Rikku…Rikku was wearing the exact same gi that GOku was wearing.
Seeing that was enough to send Goku into a rage. A reminder that Zeno had dared to recreate his timeline but replace his existence with Rikku. He didn't even pay attention to the fact that Rikku seemed transparent and ghostly. With a great yell, he charged at her…only to pass straight through her. Confused, he turned around and attempted to launch multiple jabs at Rikku, only for them to go through her as well, as if he was striking a ghost.
After a final failed charging jab, Goku skidded to a stop, turned around and yelled at the seeming apparition,
"WHY CAN'T I HIT YOU?!"
Rikku simply stared at him, seemingly as confused as he was. This wasn;t at the fact that he was passing through her, but at the fact that this guy looked like Goten and had the same energy as her. Goku then remembered back to when he had scanned Gohan's memories. He remembered that Rikku was apparently barely existent in the physical world and needed time to be tangible again.
Strange, since he never had that problem, but he supposed Zeno had changed more than he thought he did. Before he could do anything else though, he was once again tackled by Gohan, and the 2 went flying off the planet, leaving Rikku and Vegeta very confused. Vegeta asked Rikku,
"Do you know him, Karat?"
Rikku shook her head and replied,
"No. But for some reason he gave me the oddest sense of Deja Vu."
"Hmph. Me too."
Meanwhile, Gohan and Goku finally landed on Planet Mutek, with Goku kicking Gohan off of him after regaining his bearings. The half-saiyan got to his feat and told Goku,
"No more running. This is planet Mutek. The Elder Kai told me that it'll be able to withstand our full power, and there's nothing here except a few birds."
Goku looked around, and sure enough all he could see was a harsh gray landscape with short, sparse mountains and rocks in the distance, and a black cloudy sky. He could also see some birds flying in an odd formation overhead. He remarked,
"Not exactly the most peachy place….but It'll do."
The 2 then powered up and charged at each other, grabbing their opponents hands and beginning to attempt to push them back. Golden and white auras clashed against each other, engulfing the entire planet in blinding light. The 2 warriors then lept back and began exchanging fists again.
They seemed evenly matched, with neither side giving in. Gohan delivered a punch, but it was parried and countered with a kick from Goku. Gohan then attempted to deliver a chop to Goku's neck, but the super saiyan 4 grabbed his hand and began swinging him around and around. Eventually he threw Gohan into one of the mountains that littered Mutek, completely oblitaring it.
Gohan walked out of the mountain formation, and stared Goku down. He didn't know why, but there was something about this man that felt more familiar than just his resemblance to his half-brother. It was almost as if they had met before. Suddenly, for a brief second, Gohan thought he saw this enemy in Super Saiyan, wearing Vegeta's old saiyan armor and floating above him in a white void.
He shook his head. He didn't know why his mind had imagined that, but it must mean something. He asked the stranger,
"Who are you, anyway?!"
Goku smirked, floated right in front of his face and told him,
"My name is Goku. And this is where your life ends."
The 2 then began exchanging blows again, and even the planet Mutek slowly began to crack. The 2 dashed across the planet, leaving trails of destruction all over. Gohan attempted to deliver a flying kick, but Goku dodged and grabbed his leg, slamming him to the ground. He then backflipped away and began charging a kamehameha. Gohan got up and did the same.
Both saiyans chanted,
"Kaaaaaaaa, meeeeeeeee, haaaaaaaaaaa, meeeeeeeee…."
"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!"
The two blue beams clashed against each other, both fighters struggling to push the other back. But before a victor could be determined, Goku's time ring began to glow. The saiyan annoyedly said,
"Just as it was getting good."
He then yelled to Gohan,
"This has been fun, but it's time for me to head back! I'll see ya later!"
Goku then activated the time ring, and he was sent flying back to the future timeline, Gohan's blast trailing behind him. The half saiyan was left extremely confused.
Zamasu was enjoying his tea, waiting for Goku to get back. It had taken longer than he initially expected, but he supposed Goku was just having fun. Right as he thought that, a time portal appeared outside the cabin, with Goku coming out of it dodging a blue energy beam. Zamasu leaped upon seeing this, and as Goku landed and reverted to base, Zamasu yelled at Goku, asking him,
"What the hell was that?!"
Goku looked at Zamasu and rubbed the back of his head laughing, telling him,
"Sorry, I got a bit carried away back there. But the Gohan I fought was really strong!"
Future Zamasu gritted his teeth in annoyance, as the Zamasu in GOku's head piped in and told him,
"Don't forget about your mission, Goku."
Goku replied,
"Yeah. They'll be back. And when they are…I won't let her get away."
He then walked into the forest to prepare for Rikku, Vegeta and Trunks's return.
